Disclaimer: This Post had originally been posted on June 24, 2018 at 7:05 PM. I'm reposting this Chapter along with Fairy Legion Chapters 1-26 because of a massive plot change. If you've read this story before, not much will have changed except Zane's reason for going to the Fairy Tail Dimension. The Author Note and whatever I talk about in them may or will be extremely outdated today or I'm somehow seeing the future so just ignore if you want.
A/N: Yeah. The first chapter of Edens Zero will be out on Manga Stream on Monday so expect this post to have after it. I'm staying away from spoilers because of the fact that I want to go in blind when it going into this story. I really don't want to judge it because it's the sequel to my favorite Manga or expect too much. I also don't expect a lot when it comes to One Piece because every chapter is going to have something that I like regardless of the quality of the chapter.
I will say that there will be a review and will it be lengthy, yes. I'm sure of that since I will have a lot to talk about. So this or the next Author Note will be longer than normal. Lets talk about Fairy Legion since I have nothing else to talk about. I'm planning on making a list of topic to talk about for future parts but for right now, I got nothing. So I decided to do Galuna Island Arc because why now and also to build up Nalu. As you can tell, I decided to do Nalu and Natza with Nali being a maybe.
I'm not sure on how to do it except through flashbacks because she's "dead". That's the only way I can think of how to do it but if I can't do it more than one way, I will pick someone else to be Natsu's third mate or perhaps something else. I have something in mind. This chapter will also have more Forms than the last two chapters being that I introduced a new one aka Replication Form and a old one aka Thermal Form. So this means that this chapter will have three forms.
I did introduce seven forms in Chapter 8 so that should be a good enough reason but for me, I could do better. Lets begin the next day at the Fairy Tail guild hall where something happens. All of Zane's forms are the black robe introduced in Episode 101. I may be repeating that a lot and well, I forget things.
Narrator P.O.V.
Mira was currently on the second floor, sweeping up the last of the debris that was a result of Zane's attack on Laxus. He was happy that someone is strong enough among the weaklings but he didn't like getting hit. Mira was about to giggle about the event but thanks to Laxus ,who was about ten feet from her and listening to his music, she didn't want to tempt fate. "Well, this mess is finally cleaned but I'm not sure why Zane didn't have his army of clones clean the second floor." thought Mira.
She soon looked at the request board being that her happiness and ease was gone. There was a quest missing being that out of three, two remained. She knew that no one would have taken it because master would have known about it and told her. She soon head downstairs being that Laxus smiled as he said under his breath,"Finally. She noticed.". He knew about Happy taking it and well, he wanted to see the look on the old man's face when he found out.
Mira soon raced down the stairs, with an urgent look plastered on her face. Upon seeing the master drinking a cup of coffee, she didn't wasted a single second in telling him despite being in mid sip of the hot liquid. "Master, one of the S-Class requests is missing!" said Mira. Upon hearing this, the esteemed leader of Fairy Tail didn't seem to figure this out. However, he soon did being that he spat the coffee onto the floor, looking shocked. "What?!" yelled Makarov, turning to face Mira.
It was relatively quiet around the guild at this time of day, so everyone heard what Mira said and they were very much shocked. "Say what? You're saying that one of the jobs from the second floor is missing?" said Wakaba. "But those jobs are S-Class quests. Have an idea who took off with it?" said Macao. "Either someone really strong or stupid." said Laki. "I know who took it. It was a blue cat stealing one of the requests around the time you left with Zane Mira." said Laxus.
Mira quickly turned to see Laxus on the second floor with him sitting at a table with his feet propped up, arms folded, and eyes closed. "It was Happy?" said Mira in a worried tone. With Laxus's single remark, the entire guild began to mutter among themselves, some louder than others. "He must have stolen it for Lucy and Natsu!" said Wakaba. "That's just crazy! What were they thinking?!" said Macao. A duo nearby the men spoke up voicing their thoughts.
One of them is Bisca and the other one is Alzack Connell aka the other western themed wizard of Fairy Tail. He's a young man of average height with long black hair that covers the right part of his face. His eyes are black as well, and the right one is always obscured by his hair. His attire mirrors that of fictional cowboys, minus their signature hats. His outfit consists of a long brown coat that resembling a poncho with tasselled edges together with a shirt.
He wears that with torn pants with strips similar to the ones on his coat hanging from their edges - these being held up by a studded belt with a skull-shaped buckle. On his feet he wears simple shoes, or boots. He has a case on his right hip, attached to a belt, in which he usually keeps one of his guns, consisting of a large leather belt, seemingly decorated by concentric circles in its widest part. "They have got some nerve, taking on an S-Class quest." said Alzack.
Bisca said,"That's being nice honey. They're stupid.". "And it wasn't just them. I think our precious pseudo-S-Class wizard went with them after your date with him last night Mira." said Laxus with him soon having a cigar in his mouth. Everyone's eyes nearly bulged out of their heads with that bit of info as they knew that Zane would be here by now, being the snarky asshole and he went on a date with Mira being that the latter was the more shocking part.
Makarov yelled,"Laxus! How do you know this?!". He went wide-eyed at Zane and Mira going out and not the S-Class part. "I'm not an idiot like the rest of our your precious weaklings old man. I also saw them leave together. They went to that new place in the poor district." said Laxus. Mira was blushing with her thinking,"Was it a date?! I mean Zane is nice but I don't see him like that right? He is too mysterious being that I'm not sure if I want to get serious with him if he can't tell the truth.".
Macao slapped his forehead as he said,"I know the kid is stronger but he's the one that stopped Natsu from messing with Laxus yesterday! Why the hell would he go with him?". "And I thought he didn't want to be on Natsu's team." said Laki. "I doubt they're coming back without Zane having a temper like he did for the past couple of days." said Bisca. "I like Natsu and Lucy but man, Zane has a short fuse like real short." said Alzack.
Laxus ,after taking a puff of his cigar, said,"They all broke the rules huh old man! I bet that the trio of idiots will get kicked out right? You wouldn't dare kick out the guy who could kick your ass without wasting a single ounce of his power. I doubt those three are going to survive because all of them are weaker than dirt!". The elderly wizard was simply standing on the bar counter with both of his arms folded, head lowered, and eyes closed, pondering the matter.
Laxus soon turned his head to see Mira ,who climbed up the stairs, and slammed her hands into the table he was sitting at. Mira was glaring at him being her eyes were fulled with anger and fists clenched with rage. Her hands were firmly placed on her hips. "If you knew about this? Why didn't you stop them Laxus?" said Mira. "Calm your bouncy tits. All I saw was a blue cat running off with a piece of paper in its mouth. I never thought Natsu would do something this dumb." said Laxus.
He soon blew a puff of smoke right in Mira's face with him saying,"Oh. Did I make you mad Mira? I remember the good old days when you used to be an actual threat but now, you're nothing more than weaklings just like the rest of your precious family. Zane can protect our precious Natsu so that we don't have Prude Knight being the rule spouting bitch like she always is.". Everyone knew that Natsu would always find a way to aggravate everyone in the guild mainly Zane lately.
This was just the latest and most severe way yet. It was awful how Laxus just let Happy fly off with the job in the first place knowing that they could die on this mission despite one of them taking three dark guilds ,two having some help, and a demon without any work put in. The white-haired woman soon smashed the table that Laxus was at being that splinters went everywhere. Laxus laughed at this with Mira having a fierce glare that wouldn't scare either Laxus or Zane at all
It would sent lesser men shaking in their boots, a very dark and sinister aura was laced into her expression, and her glare could sent chills down the spine of most who saw it. "Shoot. I miss that Mira. Where the hell is she because this coward Mira is so pathetic and a shell of her former self so dam much." said Laxus. "You better hope they make it back alive or else, you're dead." said Mira in a dark tone.
Laxus laughed as he said,"I would like to see you try since you're so weak now!". "This isn't good. I expected something like this from Natsu one of these days but Zane. He may be a pseudo S-Class due to him wanting to take the trials just like everyone else but I thought he would be more responsible due to him knowing of the danger of S-Class quests. I'll just tell the requester that the Void Knight accepted it. Why did he make such a stupid decision like that?" said Makarov.
He heard a soft, alto voice speak up,"If you speak ill of my master again Makarov, I'll burn you to a crisp pipsqueak.". The man and the rest of the guild soon turned to see a very attractive girl standing there. She looks to be somewhat like Zara Vienna being that they have the same body structure somewhat. She has long pinkish red hair with emerald green tints to it with a pink bow in the center. She has a normal ponytail with green eyes with a crimson red tint to it.
She's a beautiful teenager girl with her being eighteen years old. She has fair skin with her looking like a human goddess. She's Japanese American with her looking more American. Her face screams both youth to it. Her head is heart shaped with a slim chin. She also has a light smattering of freckles along and under her small, slim nose. She has long and noticeable eyelashes with large almond shaped eyes. She also has arched eyebrows, looking rather thin.
She has soft, full lips with it being a natural pink color and a natural looking pout. She has a slim neck to her that still held up her head. Her body is an hourglass figure with it being athletic, shapely, and slender. She has thin shoulders, a flat but tight stomach and small waist, a noticeable and big heart shaped butt with thick and soft thighs with muscles, and a nice rack. Over all, she's the perfect woman being not too big or thin.
Her body measurements are B102-W58-H100 CM or B40-W23-H39 inches. Yes. Her body is unrealistic. She wears a light red blouse that exposed a bit of her chest, blue denim vest, black pair of tights, and brown lace up sandals. The guys were obliviously admiring her beauty as Makarov said with a grin,"Who are you?". "My name is Sylvia. I'm Master Zane's partner. I'm sure you know about my Master taking the job." said Sylvia.
She soon crossed her arms as she said,"So tell the people on Galuna Island this so we don't get in trouble or don't. Master don't really care. He'll do the job regardless of him being payed or now. Oh and all of you, quit being a perv or I'll scorch you alive.". She leaned against the bar being that her expression meant that she was 100% serious. Sylvia looked out toward them with all of them looking the other way.
Macao said,"So what job was taking Mira?". Mira turned away from Laxus but was still glaring at him who was still in her peripheral vision. Laxus had a snide smirk. "For lifting the curse on Galuna Island." said Mira. Makarov's eyes widened as he said,"The island of Demons!". Everyone in the guild was shocked. "Galuna Island?!" said Macao and Wakaba. "Are they insane?!" said Laki. "We can't believe that they're dumber than we thought!" said Alzack and Bisca.
Everyone in the guild was panic upon hearing that since none of the S-Class quests were known for being pleasant, but the Galuna Island was known for being impossible. It's because who ever sets foot on that island never returns or so say the rumors. Makarov hopped down from his seat on the bar counter and looked up right at Laxus who simply smoking away, carefree. "Laxus! Go and fetch them at once!" ordered Makarov.
Laxus gave him the finger as he said,"Nah. I can't believe you actually asked me that old man. You should know that I have jobs lined up for me and my power! Everyone in Fairy Tail is supposed to be able to take care of THEMSELVES and not rely too much on others's help just like the rest of you weaklings!". He soon stood up from his seat with him getting ready to leave. "I don't care how you feel about Natsu! None of them realize what they're getting into it, especially Zane!" said Makarov.
He was losing patience with Laxus and his arrogant attitude. "Shut the hell up right now before I sent you to a fiery abyss." said Sylvia, with a flame ,matching Zane's unique fire color, focusing in her hands. "Fine. Zane knows what he doing. You're the only strong enough to bring the others back by force Laxus!" said Makarov. "That ain't happening!" said Laxus. "What about Ersha?" said Cana who was drunk. "She's isn't here. Master Zane asked me to pick up Gray. Ready to go?" said Sylvia.
Makarov soon heard,"Yeah Sylvia. I'm ready.". Makarov soon turned to see Gray ,who was quiet the whole time, standing up with a serious look in his eyes. "What that flame brained idiot and his blond buddy did was unforgivable." said Gray. The two were soon gone as Sylvia said,"Thanks for being so willing.". "Yeah. I rather not piss off Master Zane and me being there will help. So are you really Zane's partner?" said Gray. "Yes. He created me from his fire." said Sylvia.
About lunch time, the group of Happy, Lucy, Natsu, Sly, and Zane had made it to the picturesque port town of Hargeon. As they walked through the town, Lucy had an unusually nostalgic smile on her face with Zane stuffing his face in due to it being lunch. "Wow, this brings back memories. It seems like only yesterday when we met here for the first time you guys." said Lucy, in a nostalgic tone. "It was two weeks ago Luce." said Natsu with a deadpanned look.
Happy said,"Yeah. You sound like an old grandma Lucy.". He snickered as Lucy glared at him. "Who are you calling old?!" said Lucy. "You." said Zane. The blonde sighed as she said,"Oh well, let's go find a boat that'll take us to Galuna." said Lucy. She started to walk toward the docks, being that she soon squeaked in surprise when Natsu grabbed her shoulders. "Are you nuts Luce? Why can't we just swim there? It'll improve your arms muscles for....." said Natsu.
Sly said,"Whipping?". "That would be the case if she actually used it." said Zane. Lucy sighed as she said,"Natsu. That isn't going to happen since I can help you with your motion sickness. Why is this a problem?". "Yeah Natsu. I mean we don't know where we're going." said Sly. "Plus all of you would drown before we get there. Sly can fly for several hours at a time plus I have forms that can grant me travel either though flight, swimming, or super speed. The latter is my favorite." said Zane.
Natsu said,"So could we?". "I don't do rides for free." said Zane. "Fine. I just didn't want to make Luce do that but since you guys are no fun. Off we go to find a boat." said Natsu, rubbing his head with Lucy having a blush. The five soon began asking around the docks. After asking about a dozen sailors, the group didn't have a ride to Galuna Island. All of the sailors and fishermen they asked turned them down upon asking them.
They wouldn't even go there for a million Jewels due to it being bad luck to even mention that name in these waters. Happy and Lucy were losing hope as Natsu was getting happier due to the fact that he really want to swim there much to Zane's confusion. The group soon reached a sailor with black hair and blue cap on his head. He's wearing a pale green cloak with a white t-shirt underneath as well as dark pants.
He has slightly darkish-colored skin, and a mustache that descended around his mouth and chin. He was sitting in his boat when the team ,except for Zane who couldn't stop staring at him, asked him to take them to Galuna. "Don't know why you want to got there. No sailor worth his salt is going to take you there to Galuna. Not even pirates would want to go there." said the sailor. Lucy was frustrated as Happy and Natsu smiled with the later having a huge fun on his face.
Lucy said,"Are you serious? This blows.". "I guess we're swimming them. Gets your trunks out Zane and bikini for you Luce! Time to swim like there is no tomorrow!" said Natsu, "We're not swimming there idiot!" yelled Lucy, hitting him on the heads. "I'm sure that there is a way there being that a person had to send a message across the ocean so there must be someone who travels close to the island. I'm smelling some bullshit here." said Zane.
Lucy said,"You do know that the island cursed right?". "And if you are going to swim there, you'll have to deal with giant, man-eating sharks. If you're cool with that, go right ahead." said the sailor. "I ain't afraid of no sharks! I just fry them if they come near me or Luce!" said Natsu, shaking his fist at the sailor. "You can't use fire while in water." said Lucy. "Actually, you can. If the fire is hot enough but you'll have to focus really hard which Natsu can't do it." said Zane.
Just then someone touched Lucy and Natsu's shoulders being that someone placed their hands on their left and right shoulders respectively. "I found you guys." said a voice. Upon hearing the familiar voice, Lucy and Natsu jumped and spun around in shock to see Gray with a triumphant smirk on his face as Sylvia stood by him. "It's Gray!" said Lucy, stunned. "Who the fuck would it be? It sure as hell ain't Erza!" said Zane.
Natsu yelled,"And why the hell are you here Gray?!". "Master found out about your oh so smart scheme flamer. He sent me here with Sylvia to bring you back so we can go on the job together right Master Zane?" said Gray. "What?! He already found out?! We're not even in danger yet! And who the hell is Sylvia?!" said Natsu. The girl in question sulked as Sly said,"It's fine Sylvia. He's very single-minded sometimes like Zane was back in the day.".
Gray said,"She's one of Master Zane's most powerful spells. If you guys come back right now, you may escape being kicked out of the guild maybe.". "Do you seriously think Master is going to kick these dum-dums out when he can't even slap his grandson?" said Zane. "Yeah. He seemed serious for once so I guess so." said Gray. Upon hearing this, Lucy placed her hands on her face with her very much bearing an apprehensive tone. She didn't want to hear that today. "Kicked out?!" shrieked Lucy.
Zane sighed as Kane said,"So tell me why we're not throwing her into the ocean and why didn't Sylvia tell Gray about what the plan is?". "Beats me. I really doubt that the old geezer would kick out a member of his family but he's done it before in the past. It's a reason why Laxus is the way he is today" said Zane. He sighed as he said,"Gray has a point. You guys SHOULD go back if you're going to be kicked out.". Natsu growled as he soon glared at Gray, with his face screaming determination.
Natsu said,"I don't care! I'm doing this S-Class Quest and Zane is going to be my partner for us plus Luce and Happy and Sly not you and this chick!". "So did he know about you guys being kicked out of the guild for doing this?" said Sly. "Maybe." said Zane. "Well, yeah." said Natsu, chuckling with a smile. Zane growled for a bit before rolling his eyes. "At least you're honest." said Lucy. "If Zane wasn't Pseudo S-Class, he and Sly would be in trouble too. The others, I'm not too sure." said Gray.
Sylvia said,"I think maybe light punishment for Happy and Lucy but Natsu. I'm sorry.". "We're going back now." said Zane. "But the mission Zane! You wanted to do this!" said Natsu. "I don't care about you being there. You and your blond pal would mostly likely being a pain in my ass. I rather keep that old geezer in a good mood before I smack around his grandson to make sure he sees reality for a bit." said Zane. "Smart choice I guess." said Gray, shrugging his shoulders.
Gray soon said,"You're really out of your league here Natsu! It's called S-Class for a reason. What would you do if Erza found out about your scheme?". While the threat of being kicked out of Fairy Tail may have scared Natsu for a bit, the thought of an angry Erza certainly did. The trio of dragon slayer, Lucy, and Happy sweat in fear. "Uh oh!" said the trio. Zane sighed as he still didn't get why everyone was scared of Prude Knight.
To him, she was nothing more than weak because of that armor she wears. It would make no god dam sense why she's always wearing it if Zane didn't have the ability to read minds. He knew how to hold back his powers despite his attacks always being strong. He could kill or hurt someone if he didn't restrain himself. "I would throw her into the ocean because I hate her rule spouting. It just piss me off more than anything." said Zane.
The group looked at Zane with Sly and Sylvia shrugging their shoulders. "Ignoring that. I'm doing this mission because of her." said Natsu. "What are you talking about Natsu?" said Gray, with him raising an eyebrow. "Erza wouldn't want me doing this because she worries about me but Laxus and Zane insulted her and I can't stand for that. I need to show Laxus that I'm strong enough to fight him and being S-Class is the perfect way to do that." said Natsu.
Zane said,"Or in my terms, She's babying him and well, Natsu has something called pride as a man and having his best friend insulted by Laxus and Myself, it just pisses him off.". "Natsu." said Lucy in shock. She knew that Natsu and Erza were very close but she had no idea that she would be willing to risk his life just to defend Erza's honor. "He's really caring isn't he?" said Lucy. Happy soon flew right behind Gray as he said,"I told them that this was a bad idea but they forced me to come.".
Lucy yelled,"You're such a liar!". "Can I throw her into the ocean Zane?" said Sylvia. "If I can't do it Sylvia, you can't either. Too much of a headache to deal with. Okay kids, time to go back home and I'm sorry Natsu but it's time for you to go back. You can just try the trial when it comes around again this year." said Zane. "And the hell do you get to stay?" said Natsu. "I'm an pseudo S-Class. I don't want all of you dragging me down while I take down the Galuna Island curse." said Zane
The sailor said with hope in his voice,"You did say Galuna Island correct?". "Yeah he did. Can you take us there?" said Natsu. Before Gray or Lucy could speak, the man began to talk. "Are all of you wizards? Have you come to lift the curse?" said the man. "We sure are." said Natsu being that he was soon smacked into the ground by a really big hand sprouting from Zane's back. "Me and my partner are but the rest of them are going back home. Sorry about the annoyance." said Zane.
The sailor said,"I see. At least some of you are going. The people of that island are suffering horribly and they could really use the help of some powerful wizards.". "Yeah. Your sob story won't work on me." said Zane. "I have to prove myself to Gramps and Erza! So like it not, I'm doing this!" said Natsu as he was clenching his fists. Gray soon placed his hands on his hips, getting into Natsu's face as he said,"Not happening. Master ordered me to bring you back home!".
Sylvia said,"He'll drag you back to Fairy Tail if he has too.". Ice spikes soon formed around Gray's hand being that he said,"You better not cry about the pain I'm going to bring Natsu!". "Like you could hurt me!" said Natsu, flames bursting out of his hands. "Hey you two! Calm down!" said Lucy as the sailor watched in awe. Zane sighed as he knew that if all of them came on the mission, he would be annoyed and being kicked out would suck for a bit but he would get over it.
Regardless of what happened, he was going to that island. "Please. Come onto my ship all of you. It's too tragic and bizarre to explain how we going into this mess." said the sailor. "Yes!" said Natsu with a grin. "Okay." said Lucy being that she wasn't looking forward to it. "This ain't going to happen so shut up already!" said Gray. "Sylvia." said Zane. The ice wizard was soon knocked out thanks to a Vulcan neck pinch by the girl. She soon threw him onto the boat as she disappeared into flames.
Natsu said,"We're ready to go when you are sir!". "And if this gets out of hand, I'll send you idiots back to the mainland." said Zane. "And why are we bringing Gray?" said Lucy. "If he goes back to the guild, he'll bring Erza and the rest of the guild." said Natsu. Happy and Lucy was scared of that as they got onto the boat. Sly said,"So why are they scared of her?". "Beats me. Idiots tend to be scared of very little things." said Zane.
The boat was soon pushed away from the dock and upon it moving, Natsu soon hanged over the side of the boat, who was trying not to vomit. "Seriously? We just moved an inch." said Zane. "God you're hopeless aren't you?" said Lucy. She hoisted Natsu into her lap being that Natsu sighed in relief as Lucy's fingers combed through his hair. "Is he going to be alright?" said the sailor. "He was born like this." said Zane, rubbing his eyes tired and annoyed.
Later that night, everyone sat in awkward silence being that they didn't have any troubles on the way here but well, there were several factors in this silence. This is due Natsu being motion sickness and it was annoying despite Lucy trying to help him. Gray was the other reason being that he was tied up thanks to candy syrup being that Zane told him that he got his mission wrong somewhat since he wanted Gray to join them.
Gray was shocked by this but he sighed. He knew that Zane would do something like this with him asking why he was so harsh to Natsu then. Zane told him that sometimes, you need tough love to really grow. "So can you untie me already?" said Gray. "Not in the mood because of a certain person's sickness bothering me a lot." said Zane. "It isn't his fault Zane." said Lucy who had Natsu resting on her lap. "It's still annoying so if he doesn't stop, I'm throwing him overboard." said Zane.
Gray smiled as he said,"Oh please do Master Zane. I would really love to see Natsu drown for a bit due to him being such a pain to deal with he's motion sick.". "You guys are the worst! So are we close to the island? I'm staring to get scared." said Lucy. "Unlike you, I'm tied up and I can't be let out for some reason involving your boyfriend being such a bitch on anything that moves!" said Gray. "We're nearing the island. The fog is a big indicator." said the sailor.
The group soon saw a murky and ominous fog covering the ocean as far as the eye could see. The water themselves were fairly smooth and easygoing, but it wasn't at all soothing. "We're almost there so just calm down." said the sailor. "Fine. So why did you decided to take us?" said Gray. "Because Bobo here wanted to save his people from the curse." said Zane. "He is correct. I did manage to leave that cursed hell." said Bobo.
Zane soon turned to Happy who had been looking over at a nearby school of fish that he had been drooling over for a while now and he said,"Hey Happy. Can you tell me why Erza is supposed to be strong?". "Huh? Why do you ask?" said Happy. "Because I've seen her do nothing beside order me and others to do shit that we don't want. I'm just really curious." said Zane. "Oh. That's obvious. She is just really strong Zane!" said Happy.
Zane slapped his forehead as Sly said,"He was asking for a serious answer.". "Her magic is known as Requip being that she can pull all sorts of weapons from a pocket dimensions like swords. She can change her armor too being that her Magic is called the Knight!" said Happy. "Seriously? She's so weak depending on that armor like she is." said Zane. "Shut up Zane. Erza is way stronger than you and you know it." said Natsu, still sick.
Zane said,"So is there anything special about these armors? I mean the one I've seen her in is so dam tacky.". "Yeah. She has a bunch of armors and most of them give her special powers and magic. So why did you leave Bobo?" said Gray. "It's simple. I couldn't take it anymore. I need to work you that tragedy befalls anyone who sets foot on the island. There is no avoiding it unless you're able to lift the curse." said Bobo.
He soon flashed the group his left arm being that it was different from a normal human's arm. It was purple and demonic. "This is the demon curse." said Bobo. Zane glared at the arm being that it had a different aura of energy around that part of his body being that the rest of his body was the exact same aura of energy. "That arm." said Gray, backing slowly away from Bobo. "What happened to it sir? Is it because of the curse?" said Lucy. "No shit it's the curse dumbass." said Zane.
Lucy glared at him as the cursed man soon took a look ahead with him saying,"There is it kids. The cursed island of the moon. Galuna Island.". The five soon took a look being that it is shaped like a crescent moon with small islands extending the area, covered by a large number of trees, green plants, vines and steep rocks which make it harder to hike. This part was saw by Zane who had good vision along with the rest of his senses.
Lucy broke the silence with her saying,"What's with the glowing mountaintop?". Zane saw that the peak was glowing being that he focused his hearing to pick on some chanting. "There's a cult of humans there Zane. Something is going on there." said Sivarth. Lucy soon turned to look for Bobo but he was soon gone. "Where did he go?!" said Lucy. "Maybe he's in the water?" said Gray as he looked over the boat's side.
Happy quickly dove into the water, and searched for Bobo. He soon resurfaced as he said,"He isn't down there!". He soon swam back to the boat with Sly saying,"Did you really think he was under there?". "What?! What's going on?!" said Lucy. She began pulling on her hair and freaking out with Zane getting closer to throwing her overboard. Natsu soon groaned from the side of the boat as Zane said,,"We're almost there Natsu.".
Crisis Judgement went off as the boat began to rock rather heavily, being that it was the complete opposite of what happened before. "So are you trying to jump off the boat Natsu? Your motion sickness can't be that bad." said Sly. "For once, that isn't Natsu." said Lucy, looking behind the boat as Gray soon turned around to see a massive tidal wave heading toward them. "You guys!" said Gray as he tried to break out of the candy prison.
The boat was slowly moving toward the tidal wave as Lucy screamed,"Tidal Wave!". "Shut the hell up before I throw you into it Triple B!" yelled Zane. "Don't be a dick to Luce Zane or else I'll end you before the Tidal Wave does!" said Natsu. "Happy! Sly! Zane! Can you grab onto the boat?!" said Lucy in a panic state. "It's too heavy!" said Happy. Zane turned and he jumped into the water. "What the hell is he doing?!" said Gray and Lucy. "Stopping it in its track." said a voice.
The water was soon frozen solid as Zane floated there in Glacier Form. He soon looked like a living ice dinosaur. He also looked to be a mixture of ice with some elements of pterodactyl also known as a pteranodon and glider/jetpack like humanoid. He looks to be six feet tall aka the same height as Pyre Form. His skin is a mixture of ice and scales, being pale white. His frame looked thin but slightly muscular. His head is a triangle shape and quite pointy.
He has two interesting looking emerald green eyes with the shape of his eyes being four-pointed stars with a black outline. His mouth is beak-shape with him having sharp teeth that stuck out of his mouth and it looks like he's going to eat someone. He's wearing black clothing ,with a single dark purple stripe, that covers his shoulders and waist with it ripped around his shoulders. This is due to Zane's two sharp icicle like spikes on each shoulders.
He's wearing tattered black pants that went down to his ankles. He's wearing black/orange metallic boots. He has black stripes wrapped around his arms and legs. His hands are claws being that they're sharp to the touch. He has an orange diamond shape snowflake appendage sticking right out of his back, being that it's a glider/jetpack hybrid with him currently having snow white pteranodon like wings. The group was soon shocked by this as they were knocked out.
Sly ,who was used to seeing Zane doing something like this, said,"So Glacier Form.". "Yeah. I was thinking Frost Form but nah." said Zane. He soon pulled the boat out of the ice. He ,carrying the boat in his hands, soon flew toward the island with Sly saying,"So do you mind if I do something?". "Sure Sly." said Zane. Sly soon made Lucy hold Natsu tightly being that their job is just getting started and well, things are going to get worse thanks to some meddling.
Erza Scarlet re-entered the guildhall that next morning with a small smile on her face, contrary to her typical grimace and straight face. Everything was running smoothly, at least to her knowledge. All of the guild's affairs were in order and damage reports for the last couple of days were shockingly low which was due to her direct presence. In fact, everything was running so smoothly that she didn't even need to lecture anyone at this time. It was also somewhat empty right now.
She was looking around the guildhall for a certain new member of Fairy Tail being that despite his attitude, he was a interesting person. After seeing him and Zane fight, she wanted to fight him and his skills with a sword were a mystery to her. She never seen him use it but according to Sly, he's really good with all weapons. She was also looking for Natsu. She soon walked up to the main bar to greet her former rival and good friend ,along with Makarov, in order to find Zane.
She was too absorbed in her own goals for the moment, she likely would have noticed the worried expression on Mira's face. This was a strong source of something being wrong. "Good morning Mira." said Erza, taking a seat down at the bar. "Oh, hey Erza. Going on another job?" said Mira as she forgot about the severity of the guild's current problem to have a conversation. "Not today. I'm looking for Zane. Have you seen him today? Did he go out?" said Erza.
Mira said,"Really? Why do you need to see him?". She was wondering about Erza's affections being that Mira liked Zane and wonder if Erza felt the same. "It's not like that Mira. Zane isn't my type of guy mainly due to his personality. It's far too toxic. I don't get what you see in him at all but I'm not one to judge. I was going to ask him to have a spar with me being that I want to see him in action as a swordsman." said Erza, with Mira making a sigh of relief.
However, she soon remembered where Zane was. Gray went out yesterday being that Mira guessed that he was knocked out by them or forced into going with them being that Zane had the poor ice wizard whipped. It was a strong bet on either one. "Well, Zane isn't here right now. We think that Happy had run off with one of the S-Class quests for Lucy and Happy. He dragged Sly and Zane with him being that Gray joined them. They haven't return yet. They're okay I hope." said Mira.
She and Makarov soon waited for Erza's reaction being that she was calm. This was either because the calm before the storm or that she learned to control her temper. Take a fucking guess on which one is correct and wrong. Erza soon grabbed a nearby wooden mug and snapped it into a hundred tiny pieces within the palm of her armored hand. "Wow. That was better than what I expected. Her anger issues aren't good but she's better than Zane." thought Mira, remembering how angry he can be.
Erza said with anger and fear laced in her voice,"I may kill that idiot for doing something so foolish. Gray will be sharing in this fate if he decided to go with them. I'll also be dealing with the group of Happy, Lucy, Sly, and Zane when I find them, but rest assured I shall take great pleasure in dragging them back here by force mainly Zane." She was about to walk off when she was held in the air by an invisible force. "Sorry Prude Knight but that ain't happening." said a familiar voice.
The trio soon saw Zane standing there with him brushing the sand off his body. "Stupid beach. I'm going to kill those three once they wake up." said Zane. "Once they wake up... Wake up from what Zane?!" said an angry Erza. "What are you doing here?" said Makarov. "Well, the others are asleep thanks to me freezing a tidal wave. I mean it was easy for me but for them, not so much. They are currently being watched over by Sly right now so what's going on with you guys?" said Zane.
Erza yelled,"Put me down now so that I may punish you!". "That sounds like a really bad idea for me Prude Knight." said Zane. "Zane. Put her down. She's just worried." said Mira. "I know that but she should know that I'm an S-Class wizard in name only and I can handle this." said Zane, putting her down. She was soon gone as Zane said,"I better get going. See you guys later.". He was gone as Mira thought,"I do hope she doesn't kill him for this but Erza's rage isn't much better than Zanes.".
Back on the beach, Sly saw Zane return with her saying,"So how mad is she?". "Pretty. So have any one of them woke up yet?" said Zane, pointing to his unconscious guildmates. "Not yet. All of them have been sleeping since you left and that was an hour ago. You really did spook them by freezing a tidal wave solid." said Sly. "And if I didn't, we would be all be separated. Time to wake these fools up and fast." said Zane.
He soon turned into a familiar form aka Sound Form. He's six feet tall. His body is made out of metal and it's an obsidian black color. In the center of his chest, he has a navy blue glowing diamond shape. He has three navy blue stripes on his arms and legs with one stripe going down the center of his chest, ignoring the diamond shape. He overall has a round design to him with his arms and legs being longer than normal. He has two green eyes which are in the shape of lines.
His angular and wide motorcycle shaped head has two red cables ,on each sides of his head, with them connecting to his neck. His forehead is silver. His ears are in the shape of headphones with them being rather pronounced and cube-shaped. He has five fingers and toes. They are navy blue with two obsidian black stripes. He has several navy blue circular indents over his body being that all of them are speakers.
The palms of his hands and soles also have them and are much bigger than the ones that cover his body. All of them except for the indents on the palms of his hands and soles of his feet are covered by his discs. His discs are obsidian black with silver edges and a navy blue circle on one side. The navy blue circle connects to the indents on his body. He has three disks on both arms and legs, two in the center of his chest, and two on his back. He wears silver fingerless gloves and boots.
Zane cracked his neck as he said in a really robotic voice with his mouth not moving,"Time to wake them all. It's past noon and we got a job to do.". Zane made four copies of himself being that there were now five Sound Forms on the beach. The group walked around the group of four unconscious wizards. Zane raised his right hand with him counting down from three. Upon reaching zero, Zane said,"Surround Sound!".
The five sound robots released a powerful sound wave as all four Fairy Tail wizards woke up. Natsu screamed out in pain as he said,"My ears! Make it stop for the love of Mavis!". He held his hand over his ears and Lucy said,"Turn it off right now!". She punched the nearest Sound Form's leg and it hurt her a great deal. "Ow! What the heck are you made out of?!" said Lucy. "I'm made of metal you dumb blondie." said Zane as he was soon back to normal.
After several minutes, everyone had recovered from Zane's sonic attack being that Zane was resting nearby them, sleeping under a tree. "So we made to Galuna Island right you guys?" said Natsu with a smile on his face. "We're lucky that Zane was here. So how did he get us here again?" said Lucy as she looked at him. "Yeah. She has a point. All I can remember is that sonic blast he gave us and pretty much nothing else." said Gray.
Natsu looked at him as he said,""So who freed you from the candy syrup prison?". "Is that seriously your first response to someone who survived a tidal wave?!" said Gray. "If you can't recall guys, Zane used Glacier Form to freeze the tidal wave which knocked all of you out upon seeing it and well, he's resting." said Sly. Sly looked at Gray with her saying,"You're lucky that Zane decided to free you since he's really tired right now.". "He's tired?" said Happy.
Sly said,"Yeah. He just spend the last eight hours, waiting for you guys to wake up and also went to the mainland to get some coffee plus some other stuff. He got his coffee but he's still tired. So don't try to wake him. He's at forty eight minutes so be patient okay? It won't be that long plus its good to get our bearings straight.". "We don't have time to waste. So go wake him up Happy?" said Natsu with a smile.
Happy said,"Listen, I may be a cat but I'm not dumb enough to wake up a sleeping beast like that. I think Gray may do it.". "No way in hell. I'm not stupid." said Gray. The group waited as Zane woke up. "Okay gang. We got work to do." said Zane. "Yeah. I can't help but wonder what happened to that guy who brought us here. After telling us about the curse, he was gone." said Lucy, cupping her chin in a thinking posture.
Cole said,"So are we going to tell them or what?". "Nah." said Zane. "Forget that Luce! Let's go exploring!" said Natsu. He soon began walking toward the nearby jungle with Happy following right after him. However, they were soon grabbed by Zane's telekinesis. "If you want to prove yourselves to the old geezer and Prude Knight, the mission comes first. Got it?" said Zane. "That sounds really lame Zane." said Happy. Zane soon glared at them with the two saying,"Yes sir! Mission time!".
Lucy sighed as she grabbed Natsu's arm. "According to the flier, there is one village on the whole island. The chief is the client so we should try and find him." said Lucy. "Wait a god dam minute idiots." said Gray, slowly getting back up to his feet. "You do know that you can't take us back to the guild hall since the boat was destroyed." said Natsu. Sly looked at Zane who shook his head. The boat was fine but he didn't want to say anything.
It was just in case this mission went overboard. "No shit sherlock. I'm coming with you guys. I don't care if Master Zane is allowed up there but if you two did, I would be pissed off. If you were kicked out, I wouldn't have a reason to kick your but everyday Natsu. Gramps and Erza may be upset at first but we pull this off, they won't be." said Gray. All of them smiled ,being Lucy and Natsu high-fived as well, except for Zane who said,"Lets go already.". The five soon went into the jungle.
Lucy said in a tired tone,"How are we supposed to get to that village again?". The day had been spent doing pretty done nothing being that Lucy was lucky that Gray and Natsu weren't at each other's throats thanks to Zane being there but the fact that Lucy need to rest or something about mosquitoes biting her, Natsu getting motion sick when traveling up steep slopes, Gray losing his clothes every other mile, and Happy making a needless comment was tempting Zane to throw them into a volcano.
Athena said,"They wouldn't last a second in one of those missions where you have to walk for a long period of time or any hard physical labor.". "If you keep complaining or doing something annoying, I will be even madder than I am now. It's getting dark soon so we have to stop and set up camp." said Zane. "We would be very faster if stripper didn't lose his clothes every second." said Natsu, glaring at Gray. "What about your stupid motion sickness flame brain?" said Gray.
Sly said,"Make them stop Zane. I can't handle any more petty fighting from them. It's like when Danny and Kevin are fighting about a video game but much worse.". "Understood." said Zane, turning into a new form. This is Psychic Form. He's now 7 feet tall. He looks to be a humanoid animal but what animal exactly is a mystery due it having several features of animals. He has a slim, yet muscular body frame that look built for swimming rather than fighting.
A/N: Yeah. The first chapter of Edens Zero will be out on Manga Stream on Monday so expect this post to have after it. I'm staying away from spoilers because of the fact that I want to go in blind when it going into this story. I really don't want to judge it because it's the sequel to my favorite Manga or expect too much. I also don't expect a lot when it comes to One Piece because every chapter is going to have something that I like regardless of the quality of the chapter.
I will say that there will be a review and will it be lengthy, yes. I'm sure of that since I will have a lot to talk about. So this or the next Author Note will be longer than normal. Lets talk about Fairy Legion since I have nothing else to talk about. I'm planning on making a list of topic to talk about for future parts but for right now, I got nothing. So I decided to do Galuna Island Arc because why now and also to build up Nalu. As you can tell, I decided to do Nalu and Natza with Nali being a maybe.
I'm not sure on how to do it except through flashbacks because she's "dead". That's the only way I can think of how to do it but if I can't do it more than one way, I will pick someone else to be Natsu's third mate or perhaps something else. I have something in mind. This chapter will also have more Forms than the last two chapters being that I introduced a new one aka Replication Form and a old one aka Thermal Form. So this means that this chapter will have three forms.
I did introduce seven forms in Chapter 8 so that should be a good enough reason but for me, I could do better. Lets begin the next day at the Fairy Tail guild hall where something happens. All of Zane's forms are the black robe introduced in Episode 101. I may be repeating that a lot and well, I forget things.
Narrator P.O.V.
Mira was currently on the second floor, sweeping up the last of the debris that was a result of Zane's attack on Laxus. He was happy that someone is strong enough among the weaklings but he didn't like getting hit. Mira was about to giggle about the event but thanks to Laxus ,who was about ten feet from her and listening to his music, she didn't want to tempt fate. "Well, this mess is finally cleaned but I'm not sure why Zane didn't have his army of clones clean the second floor." thought Mira.
She soon looked at the request board being that her happiness and ease was gone. There was a quest missing being that out of three, two remained. She knew that no one would have taken it because master would have known about it and told her. She soon head downstairs being that Laxus smiled as he said under his breath,"Finally. She noticed.". He knew about Happy taking it and well, he wanted to see the look on the old man's face when he found out.
Mira soon raced down the stairs, with an urgent look plastered on her face. Upon seeing the master drinking a cup of coffee, she didn't wasted a single second in telling him despite being in mid sip of the hot liquid. "Master, one of the S-Class requests is missing!" said Mira. Upon hearing this, the esteemed leader of Fairy Tail didn't seem to figure this out. However, he soon did being that he spat the coffee onto the floor, looking shocked. "What?!" yelled Makarov, turning to face Mira.
It was relatively quiet around the guild at this time of day, so everyone heard what Mira said and they were very much shocked. "Say what? You're saying that one of the jobs from the second floor is missing?" said Wakaba. "But those jobs are S-Class quests. Have an idea who took off with it?" said Macao. "Either someone really strong or stupid." said Laki. "I know who took it. It was a blue cat stealing one of the requests around the time you left with Zane Mira." said Laxus.
Mira quickly turned to see Laxus on the second floor with him sitting at a table with his feet propped up, arms folded, and eyes closed. "It was Happy?" said Mira in a worried tone. With Laxus's single remark, the entire guild began to mutter among themselves, some louder than others. "He must have stolen it for Lucy and Natsu!" said Wakaba. "That's just crazy! What were they thinking?!" said Macao. A duo nearby the men spoke up voicing their thoughts.
One of them is Bisca and the other one is Alzack Connell aka the other western themed wizard of Fairy Tail. He's a young man of average height with long black hair that covers the right part of his face. His eyes are black as well, and the right one is always obscured by his hair. His attire mirrors that of fictional cowboys, minus their signature hats. His outfit consists of a long brown coat that resembling a poncho with tasselled edges together with a shirt.
He wears that with torn pants with strips similar to the ones on his coat hanging from their edges - these being held up by a studded belt with a skull-shaped buckle. On his feet he wears simple shoes, or boots. He has a case on his right hip, attached to a belt, in which he usually keeps one of his guns, consisting of a large leather belt, seemingly decorated by concentric circles in its widest part. "They have got some nerve, taking on an S-Class quest." said Alzack.
Bisca said,"That's being nice honey. They're stupid.". "And it wasn't just them. I think our precious pseudo-S-Class wizard went with them after your date with him last night Mira." said Laxus with him soon having a cigar in his mouth. Everyone's eyes nearly bulged out of their heads with that bit of info as they knew that Zane would be here by now, being the snarky asshole and he went on a date with Mira being that the latter was the more shocking part.
Makarov yelled,"Laxus! How do you know this?!". He went wide-eyed at Zane and Mira going out and not the S-Class part. "I'm not an idiot like the rest of our your precious weaklings old man. I also saw them leave together. They went to that new place in the poor district." said Laxus. Mira was blushing with her thinking,"Was it a date?! I mean Zane is nice but I don't see him like that right? He is too mysterious being that I'm not sure if I want to get serious with him if he can't tell the truth.".
Macao slapped his forehead as he said,"I know the kid is stronger but he's the one that stopped Natsu from messing with Laxus yesterday! Why the hell would he go with him?". "And I thought he didn't want to be on Natsu's team." said Laki. "I doubt they're coming back without Zane having a temper like he did for the past couple of days." said Bisca. "I like Natsu and Lucy but man, Zane has a short fuse like real short." said Alzack.
Laxus ,after taking a puff of his cigar, said,"They all broke the rules huh old man! I bet that the trio of idiots will get kicked out right? You wouldn't dare kick out the guy who could kick your ass without wasting a single ounce of his power. I doubt those three are going to survive because all of them are weaker than dirt!". The elderly wizard was simply standing on the bar counter with both of his arms folded, head lowered, and eyes closed, pondering the matter.
Laxus soon turned his head to see Mira ,who climbed up the stairs, and slammed her hands into the table he was sitting at. Mira was glaring at him being her eyes were fulled with anger and fists clenched with rage. Her hands were firmly placed on her hips. "If you knew about this? Why didn't you stop them Laxus?" said Mira. "Calm your bouncy tits. All I saw was a blue cat running off with a piece of paper in its mouth. I never thought Natsu would do something this dumb." said Laxus.
He soon blew a puff of smoke right in Mira's face with him saying,"Oh. Did I make you mad Mira? I remember the good old days when you used to be an actual threat but now, you're nothing more than weaklings just like the rest of your precious family. Zane can protect our precious Natsu so that we don't have Prude Knight being the rule spouting bitch like she always is.". Everyone knew that Natsu would always find a way to aggravate everyone in the guild mainly Zane lately.
This was just the latest and most severe way yet. It was awful how Laxus just let Happy fly off with the job in the first place knowing that they could die on this mission despite one of them taking three dark guilds ,two having some help, and a demon without any work put in. The white-haired woman soon smashed the table that Laxus was at being that splinters went everywhere. Laxus laughed at this with Mira having a fierce glare that wouldn't scare either Laxus or Zane at all
It would sent lesser men shaking in their boots, a very dark and sinister aura was laced into her expression, and her glare could sent chills down the spine of most who saw it. "Shoot. I miss that Mira. Where the hell is she because this coward Mira is so pathetic and a shell of her former self so dam much." said Laxus. "You better hope they make it back alive or else, you're dead." said Mira in a dark tone.
Laxus laughed as he said,"I would like to see you try since you're so weak now!". "This isn't good. I expected something like this from Natsu one of these days but Zane. He may be a pseudo S-Class due to him wanting to take the trials just like everyone else but I thought he would be more responsible due to him knowing of the danger of S-Class quests. I'll just tell the requester that the Void Knight accepted it. Why did he make such a stupid decision like that?" said Makarov.
He heard a soft, alto voice speak up,"If you speak ill of my master again Makarov, I'll burn you to a crisp pipsqueak.". The man and the rest of the guild soon turned to see a very attractive girl standing there. She looks to be somewhat like Zara Vienna being that they have the same body structure somewhat. She has long pinkish red hair with emerald green tints to it with a pink bow in the center. She has a normal ponytail with green eyes with a crimson red tint to it.
She's a beautiful teenager girl with her being eighteen years old. She has fair skin with her looking like a human goddess. She's Japanese American with her looking more American. Her face screams both youth to it. Her head is heart shaped with a slim chin. She also has a light smattering of freckles along and under her small, slim nose. She has long and noticeable eyelashes with large almond shaped eyes. She also has arched eyebrows, looking rather thin.
She has soft, full lips with it being a natural pink color and a natural looking pout. She has a slim neck to her that still held up her head. Her body is an hourglass figure with it being athletic, shapely, and slender. She has thin shoulders, a flat but tight stomach and small waist, a noticeable and big heart shaped butt with thick and soft thighs with muscles, and a nice rack. Over all, she's the perfect woman being not too big or thin.
Her body measurements are B102-W58-H100 CM or B40-W23-H39 inches. Yes. Her body is unrealistic. She wears a light red blouse that exposed a bit of her chest, blue denim vest, black pair of tights, and brown lace up sandals. The guys were obliviously admiring her beauty as Makarov said with a grin,"Who are you?". "My name is Sylvia. I'm Master Zane's partner. I'm sure you know about my Master taking the job." said Sylvia.
She soon crossed her arms as she said,"So tell the people on Galuna Island this so we don't get in trouble or don't. Master don't really care. He'll do the job regardless of him being payed or now. Oh and all of you, quit being a perv or I'll scorch you alive.". She leaned against the bar being that her expression meant that she was 100% serious. Sylvia looked out toward them with all of them looking the other way.
Macao said,"So what job was taking Mira?". Mira turned away from Laxus but was still glaring at him who was still in her peripheral vision. Laxus had a snide smirk. "For lifting the curse on Galuna Island." said Mira. Makarov's eyes widened as he said,"The island of Demons!". Everyone in the guild was shocked. "Galuna Island?!" said Macao and Wakaba. "Are they insane?!" said Laki. "We can't believe that they're dumber than we thought!" said Alzack and Bisca.
Everyone in the guild was panic upon hearing that since none of the S-Class quests were known for being pleasant, but the Galuna Island was known for being impossible. It's because who ever sets foot on that island never returns or so say the rumors. Makarov hopped down from his seat on the bar counter and looked up right at Laxus who simply smoking away, carefree. "Laxus! Go and fetch them at once!" ordered Makarov.
Laxus gave him the finger as he said,"Nah. I can't believe you actually asked me that old man. You should know that I have jobs lined up for me and my power! Everyone in Fairy Tail is supposed to be able to take care of THEMSELVES and not rely too much on others's help just like the rest of you weaklings!". He soon stood up from his seat with him getting ready to leave. "I don't care how you feel about Natsu! None of them realize what they're getting into it, especially Zane!" said Makarov.
He was losing patience with Laxus and his arrogant attitude. "Shut the hell up right now before I sent you to a fiery abyss." said Sylvia, with a flame ,matching Zane's unique fire color, focusing in her hands. "Fine. Zane knows what he doing. You're the only strong enough to bring the others back by force Laxus!" said Makarov. "That ain't happening!" said Laxus. "What about Ersha?" said Cana who was drunk. "She's isn't here. Master Zane asked me to pick up Gray. Ready to go?" said Sylvia.
Makarov soon heard,"Yeah Sylvia. I'm ready.". Makarov soon turned to see Gray ,who was quiet the whole time, standing up with a serious look in his eyes. "What that flame brained idiot and his blond buddy did was unforgivable." said Gray. The two were soon gone as Sylvia said,"Thanks for being so willing.". "Yeah. I rather not piss off Master Zane and me being there will help. So are you really Zane's partner?" said Gray. "Yes. He created me from his fire." said Sylvia.
About lunch time, the group of Happy, Lucy, Natsu, Sly, and Zane had made it to the picturesque port town of Hargeon. As they walked through the town, Lucy had an unusually nostalgic smile on her face with Zane stuffing his face in due to it being lunch. "Wow, this brings back memories. It seems like only yesterday when we met here for the first time you guys." said Lucy, in a nostalgic tone. "It was two weeks ago Luce." said Natsu with a deadpanned look.
Happy said,"Yeah. You sound like an old grandma Lucy.". He snickered as Lucy glared at him. "Who are you calling old?!" said Lucy. "You." said Zane. The blonde sighed as she said,"Oh well, let's go find a boat that'll take us to Galuna." said Lucy. She started to walk toward the docks, being that she soon squeaked in surprise when Natsu grabbed her shoulders. "Are you nuts Luce? Why can't we just swim there? It'll improve your arms muscles for....." said Natsu.
Sly said,"Whipping?". "That would be the case if she actually used it." said Zane. Lucy sighed as she said,"Natsu. That isn't going to happen since I can help you with your motion sickness. Why is this a problem?". "Yeah Natsu. I mean we don't know where we're going." said Sly. "Plus all of you would drown before we get there. Sly can fly for several hours at a time plus I have forms that can grant me travel either though flight, swimming, or super speed. The latter is my favorite." said Zane.
Natsu said,"So could we?". "I don't do rides for free." said Zane. "Fine. I just didn't want to make Luce do that but since you guys are no fun. Off we go to find a boat." said Natsu, rubbing his head with Lucy having a blush. The five soon began asking around the docks. After asking about a dozen sailors, the group didn't have a ride to Galuna Island. All of the sailors and fishermen they asked turned them down upon asking them.
They wouldn't even go there for a million Jewels due to it being bad luck to even mention that name in these waters. Happy and Lucy were losing hope as Natsu was getting happier due to the fact that he really want to swim there much to Zane's confusion. The group soon reached a sailor with black hair and blue cap on his head. He's wearing a pale green cloak with a white t-shirt underneath as well as dark pants.
He has slightly darkish-colored skin, and a mustache that descended around his mouth and chin. He was sitting in his boat when the team ,except for Zane who couldn't stop staring at him, asked him to take them to Galuna. "Don't know why you want to got there. No sailor worth his salt is going to take you there to Galuna. Not even pirates would want to go there." said the sailor. Lucy was frustrated as Happy and Natsu smiled with the later having a huge fun on his face.
Lucy said,"Are you serious? This blows.". "I guess we're swimming them. Gets your trunks out Zane and bikini for you Luce! Time to swim like there is no tomorrow!" said Natsu, "We're not swimming there idiot!" yelled Lucy, hitting him on the heads. "I'm sure that there is a way there being that a person had to send a message across the ocean so there must be someone who travels close to the island. I'm smelling some bullshit here." said Zane.
Lucy said,"You do know that the island cursed right?". "And if you are going to swim there, you'll have to deal with giant, man-eating sharks. If you're cool with that, go right ahead." said the sailor. "I ain't afraid of no sharks! I just fry them if they come near me or Luce!" said Natsu, shaking his fist at the sailor. "You can't use fire while in water." said Lucy. "Actually, you can. If the fire is hot enough but you'll have to focus really hard which Natsu can't do it." said Zane.
Just then someone touched Lucy and Natsu's shoulders being that someone placed their hands on their left and right shoulders respectively. "I found you guys." said a voice. Upon hearing the familiar voice, Lucy and Natsu jumped and spun around in shock to see Gray with a triumphant smirk on his face as Sylvia stood by him. "It's Gray!" said Lucy, stunned. "Who the fuck would it be? It sure as hell ain't Erza!" said Zane.
Natsu yelled,"And why the hell are you here Gray?!". "Master found out about your oh so smart scheme flamer. He sent me here with Sylvia to bring you back so we can go on the job together right Master Zane?" said Gray. "What?! He already found out?! We're not even in danger yet! And who the hell is Sylvia?!" said Natsu. The girl in question sulked as Sly said,"It's fine Sylvia. He's very single-minded sometimes like Zane was back in the day.".
Gray said,"She's one of Master Zane's most powerful spells. If you guys come back right now, you may escape being kicked out of the guild maybe.". "Do you seriously think Master is going to kick these dum-dums out when he can't even slap his grandson?" said Zane. "Yeah. He seemed serious for once so I guess so." said Gray. Upon hearing this, Lucy placed her hands on her face with her very much bearing an apprehensive tone. She didn't want to hear that today. "Kicked out?!" shrieked Lucy.
Zane sighed as Kane said,"So tell me why we're not throwing her into the ocean and why didn't Sylvia tell Gray about what the plan is?". "Beats me. I really doubt that the old geezer would kick out a member of his family but he's done it before in the past. It's a reason why Laxus is the way he is today" said Zane. He sighed as he said,"Gray has a point. You guys SHOULD go back if you're going to be kicked out.". Natsu growled as he soon glared at Gray, with his face screaming determination.
Natsu said,"I don't care! I'm doing this S-Class Quest and Zane is going to be my partner for us plus Luce and Happy and Sly not you and this chick!". "So did he know about you guys being kicked out of the guild for doing this?" said Sly. "Maybe." said Zane. "Well, yeah." said Natsu, chuckling with a smile. Zane growled for a bit before rolling his eyes. "At least you're honest." said Lucy. "If Zane wasn't Pseudo S-Class, he and Sly would be in trouble too. The others, I'm not too sure." said Gray.
Sylvia said,"I think maybe light punishment for Happy and Lucy but Natsu. I'm sorry.". "We're going back now." said Zane. "But the mission Zane! You wanted to do this!" said Natsu. "I don't care about you being there. You and your blond pal would mostly likely being a pain in my ass. I rather keep that old geezer in a good mood before I smack around his grandson to make sure he sees reality for a bit." said Zane. "Smart choice I guess." said Gray, shrugging his shoulders.
Gray soon said,"You're really out of your league here Natsu! It's called S-Class for a reason. What would you do if Erza found out about your scheme?". While the threat of being kicked out of Fairy Tail may have scared Natsu for a bit, the thought of an angry Erza certainly did. The trio of dragon slayer, Lucy, and Happy sweat in fear. "Uh oh!" said the trio. Zane sighed as he still didn't get why everyone was scared of Prude Knight.
To him, she was nothing more than weak because of that armor she wears. It would make no god dam sense why she's always wearing it if Zane didn't have the ability to read minds. He knew how to hold back his powers despite his attacks always being strong. He could kill or hurt someone if he didn't restrain himself. "I would throw her into the ocean because I hate her rule spouting. It just piss me off more than anything." said Zane.
The group looked at Zane with Sly and Sylvia shrugging their shoulders. "Ignoring that. I'm doing this mission because of her." said Natsu. "What are you talking about Natsu?" said Gray, with him raising an eyebrow. "Erza wouldn't want me doing this because she worries about me but Laxus and Zane insulted her and I can't stand for that. I need to show Laxus that I'm strong enough to fight him and being S-Class is the perfect way to do that." said Natsu.
Zane said,"Or in my terms, She's babying him and well, Natsu has something called pride as a man and having his best friend insulted by Laxus and Myself, it just pisses him off.". "Natsu." said Lucy in shock. She knew that Natsu and Erza were very close but she had no idea that she would be willing to risk his life just to defend Erza's honor. "He's really caring isn't he?" said Lucy. Happy soon flew right behind Gray as he said,"I told them that this was a bad idea but they forced me to come.".
Lucy yelled,"You're such a liar!". "Can I throw her into the ocean Zane?" said Sylvia. "If I can't do it Sylvia, you can't either. Too much of a headache to deal with. Okay kids, time to go back home and I'm sorry Natsu but it's time for you to go back. You can just try the trial when it comes around again this year." said Zane. "And the hell do you get to stay?" said Natsu. "I'm an pseudo S-Class. I don't want all of you dragging me down while I take down the Galuna Island curse." said Zane
The sailor said with hope in his voice,"You did say Galuna Island correct?". "Yeah he did. Can you take us there?" said Natsu. Before Gray or Lucy could speak, the man began to talk. "Are all of you wizards? Have you come to lift the curse?" said the man. "We sure are." said Natsu being that he was soon smacked into the ground by a really big hand sprouting from Zane's back. "Me and my partner are but the rest of them are going back home. Sorry about the annoyance." said Zane.
The sailor said,"I see. At least some of you are going. The people of that island are suffering horribly and they could really use the help of some powerful wizards.". "Yeah. Your sob story won't work on me." said Zane. "I have to prove myself to Gramps and Erza! So like it not, I'm doing this!" said Natsu as he was clenching his fists. Gray soon placed his hands on his hips, getting into Natsu's face as he said,"Not happening. Master ordered me to bring you back home!".
Sylvia said,"He'll drag you back to Fairy Tail if he has too.". Ice spikes soon formed around Gray's hand being that he said,"You better not cry about the pain I'm going to bring Natsu!". "Like you could hurt me!" said Natsu, flames bursting out of his hands. "Hey you two! Calm down!" said Lucy as the sailor watched in awe. Zane sighed as he knew that if all of them came on the mission, he would be annoyed and being kicked out would suck for a bit but he would get over it.
Regardless of what happened, he was going to that island. "Please. Come onto my ship all of you. It's too tragic and bizarre to explain how we going into this mess." said the sailor. "Yes!" said Natsu with a grin. "Okay." said Lucy being that she wasn't looking forward to it. "This ain't going to happen so shut up already!" said Gray. "Sylvia." said Zane. The ice wizard was soon knocked out thanks to a Vulcan neck pinch by the girl. She soon threw him onto the boat as she disappeared into flames.
Natsu said,"We're ready to go when you are sir!". "And if this gets out of hand, I'll send you idiots back to the mainland." said Zane. "And why are we bringing Gray?" said Lucy. "If he goes back to the guild, he'll bring Erza and the rest of the guild." said Natsu. Happy and Lucy was scared of that as they got onto the boat. Sly said,"So why are they scared of her?". "Beats me. Idiots tend to be scared of very little things." said Zane.
The boat was soon pushed away from the dock and upon it moving, Natsu soon hanged over the side of the boat, who was trying not to vomit. "Seriously? We just moved an inch." said Zane. "God you're hopeless aren't you?" said Lucy. She hoisted Natsu into her lap being that Natsu sighed in relief as Lucy's fingers combed through his hair. "Is he going to be alright?" said the sailor. "He was born like this." said Zane, rubbing his eyes tired and annoyed.
Later that night, everyone sat in awkward silence being that they didn't have any troubles on the way here but well, there were several factors in this silence. This is due Natsu being motion sickness and it was annoying despite Lucy trying to help him. Gray was the other reason being that he was tied up thanks to candy syrup being that Zane told him that he got his mission wrong somewhat since he wanted Gray to join them.
Gray was shocked by this but he sighed. He knew that Zane would do something like this with him asking why he was so harsh to Natsu then. Zane told him that sometimes, you need tough love to really grow. "So can you untie me already?" said Gray. "Not in the mood because of a certain person's sickness bothering me a lot." said Zane. "It isn't his fault Zane." said Lucy who had Natsu resting on her lap. "It's still annoying so if he doesn't stop, I'm throwing him overboard." said Zane.
Gray smiled as he said,"Oh please do Master Zane. I would really love to see Natsu drown for a bit due to him being such a pain to deal with he's motion sick.". "You guys are the worst! So are we close to the island? I'm staring to get scared." said Lucy. "Unlike you, I'm tied up and I can't be let out for some reason involving your boyfriend being such a bitch on anything that moves!" said Gray. "We're nearing the island. The fog is a big indicator." said the sailor.
The group soon saw a murky and ominous fog covering the ocean as far as the eye could see. The water themselves were fairly smooth and easygoing, but it wasn't at all soothing. "We're almost there so just calm down." said the sailor. "Fine. So why did you decided to take us?" said Gray. "Because Bobo here wanted to save his people from the curse." said Zane. "He is correct. I did manage to leave that cursed hell." said Bobo.
Zane soon turned to Happy who had been looking over at a nearby school of fish that he had been drooling over for a while now and he said,"Hey Happy. Can you tell me why Erza is supposed to be strong?". "Huh? Why do you ask?" said Happy. "Because I've seen her do nothing beside order me and others to do shit that we don't want. I'm just really curious." said Zane. "Oh. That's obvious. She is just really strong Zane!" said Happy.
Zane slapped his forehead as Sly said,"He was asking for a serious answer.". "Her magic is known as Requip being that she can pull all sorts of weapons from a pocket dimensions like swords. She can change her armor too being that her Magic is called the Knight!" said Happy. "Seriously? She's so weak depending on that armor like she is." said Zane. "Shut up Zane. Erza is way stronger than you and you know it." said Natsu, still sick.
Zane said,"So is there anything special about these armors? I mean the one I've seen her in is so dam tacky.". "Yeah. She has a bunch of armors and most of them give her special powers and magic. So why did you leave Bobo?" said Gray. "It's simple. I couldn't take it anymore. I need to work you that tragedy befalls anyone who sets foot on the island. There is no avoiding it unless you're able to lift the curse." said Bobo.
He soon flashed the group his left arm being that it was different from a normal human's arm. It was purple and demonic. "This is the demon curse." said Bobo. Zane glared at the arm being that it had a different aura of energy around that part of his body being that the rest of his body was the exact same aura of energy. "That arm." said Gray, backing slowly away from Bobo. "What happened to it sir? Is it because of the curse?" said Lucy. "No shit it's the curse dumbass." said Zane.
Lucy glared at him as the cursed man soon took a look ahead with him saying,"There is it kids. The cursed island of the moon. Galuna Island.". The five soon took a look being that it is shaped like a crescent moon with small islands extending the area, covered by a large number of trees, green plants, vines and steep rocks which make it harder to hike. This part was saw by Zane who had good vision along with the rest of his senses.
Lucy broke the silence with her saying,"What's with the glowing mountaintop?". Zane saw that the peak was glowing being that he focused his hearing to pick on some chanting. "There's a cult of humans there Zane. Something is going on there." said Sivarth. Lucy soon turned to look for Bobo but he was soon gone. "Where did he go?!" said Lucy. "Maybe he's in the water?" said Gray as he looked over the boat's side.
Happy quickly dove into the water, and searched for Bobo. He soon resurfaced as he said,"He isn't down there!". He soon swam back to the boat with Sly saying,"Did you really think he was under there?". "What?! What's going on?!" said Lucy. She began pulling on her hair and freaking out with Zane getting closer to throwing her overboard. Natsu soon groaned from the side of the boat as Zane said,,"We're almost there Natsu.".
Crisis Judgement went off as the boat began to rock rather heavily, being that it was the complete opposite of what happened before. "So are you trying to jump off the boat Natsu? Your motion sickness can't be that bad." said Sly. "For once, that isn't Natsu." said Lucy, looking behind the boat as Gray soon turned around to see a massive tidal wave heading toward them. "You guys!" said Gray as he tried to break out of the candy prison.
The boat was slowly moving toward the tidal wave as Lucy screamed,"Tidal Wave!". "Shut the hell up before I throw you into it Triple B!" yelled Zane. "Don't be a dick to Luce Zane or else I'll end you before the Tidal Wave does!" said Natsu. "Happy! Sly! Zane! Can you grab onto the boat?!" said Lucy in a panic state. "It's too heavy!" said Happy. Zane turned and he jumped into the water. "What the hell is he doing?!" said Gray and Lucy. "Stopping it in its track." said a voice.
The water was soon frozen solid as Zane floated there in Glacier Form. He soon looked like a living ice dinosaur. He also looked to be a mixture of ice with some elements of pterodactyl also known as a pteranodon and glider/jetpack like humanoid. He looks to be six feet tall aka the same height as Pyre Form. His skin is a mixture of ice and scales, being pale white. His frame looked thin but slightly muscular. His head is a triangle shape and quite pointy.
He has two interesting looking emerald green eyes with the shape of his eyes being four-pointed stars with a black outline. His mouth is beak-shape with him having sharp teeth that stuck out of his mouth and it looks like he's going to eat someone. He's wearing black clothing ,with a single dark purple stripe, that covers his shoulders and waist with it ripped around his shoulders. This is due to Zane's two sharp icicle like spikes on each shoulders.
He's wearing tattered black pants that went down to his ankles. He's wearing black/orange metallic boots. He has black stripes wrapped around his arms and legs. His hands are claws being that they're sharp to the touch. He has an orange diamond shape snowflake appendage sticking right out of his back, being that it's a glider/jetpack hybrid with him currently having snow white pteranodon like wings. The group was soon shocked by this as they were knocked out.
Sly ,who was used to seeing Zane doing something like this, said,"So Glacier Form.". "Yeah. I was thinking Frost Form but nah." said Zane. He soon pulled the boat out of the ice. He ,carrying the boat in his hands, soon flew toward the island with Sly saying,"So do you mind if I do something?". "Sure Sly." said Zane. Sly soon made Lucy hold Natsu tightly being that their job is just getting started and well, things are going to get worse thanks to some meddling.
Erza Scarlet re-entered the guildhall that next morning with a small smile on her face, contrary to her typical grimace and straight face. Everything was running smoothly, at least to her knowledge. All of the guild's affairs were in order and damage reports for the last couple of days were shockingly low which was due to her direct presence. In fact, everything was running so smoothly that she didn't even need to lecture anyone at this time. It was also somewhat empty right now.
She was looking around the guildhall for a certain new member of Fairy Tail being that despite his attitude, he was a interesting person. After seeing him and Zane fight, she wanted to fight him and his skills with a sword were a mystery to her. She never seen him use it but according to Sly, he's really good with all weapons. She was also looking for Natsu. She soon walked up to the main bar to greet her former rival and good friend ,along with Makarov, in order to find Zane.
She was too absorbed in her own goals for the moment, she likely would have noticed the worried expression on Mira's face. This was a strong source of something being wrong. "Good morning Mira." said Erza, taking a seat down at the bar. "Oh, hey Erza. Going on another job?" said Mira as she forgot about the severity of the guild's current problem to have a conversation. "Not today. I'm looking for Zane. Have you seen him today? Did he go out?" said Erza.
Mira said,"Really? Why do you need to see him?". She was wondering about Erza's affections being that Mira liked Zane and wonder if Erza felt the same. "It's not like that Mira. Zane isn't my type of guy mainly due to his personality. It's far too toxic. I don't get what you see in him at all but I'm not one to judge. I was going to ask him to have a spar with me being that I want to see him in action as a swordsman." said Erza, with Mira making a sigh of relief.
However, she soon remembered where Zane was. Gray went out yesterday being that Mira guessed that he was knocked out by them or forced into going with them being that Zane had the poor ice wizard whipped. It was a strong bet on either one. "Well, Zane isn't here right now. We think that Happy had run off with one of the S-Class quests for Lucy and Happy. He dragged Sly and Zane with him being that Gray joined them. They haven't return yet. They're okay I hope." said Mira.
She and Makarov soon waited for Erza's reaction being that she was calm. This was either because the calm before the storm or that she learned to control her temper. Take a fucking guess on which one is correct and wrong. Erza soon grabbed a nearby wooden mug and snapped it into a hundred tiny pieces within the palm of her armored hand. "Wow. That was better than what I expected. Her anger issues aren't good but she's better than Zane." thought Mira, remembering how angry he can be.
Erza said with anger and fear laced in her voice,"I may kill that idiot for doing something so foolish. Gray will be sharing in this fate if he decided to go with them. I'll also be dealing with the group of Happy, Lucy, Sly, and Zane when I find them, but rest assured I shall take great pleasure in dragging them back here by force mainly Zane." She was about to walk off when she was held in the air by an invisible force. "Sorry Prude Knight but that ain't happening." said a familiar voice.
The trio soon saw Zane standing there with him brushing the sand off his body. "Stupid beach. I'm going to kill those three once they wake up." said Zane. "Once they wake up... Wake up from what Zane?!" said an angry Erza. "What are you doing here?" said Makarov. "Well, the others are asleep thanks to me freezing a tidal wave. I mean it was easy for me but for them, not so much. They are currently being watched over by Sly right now so what's going on with you guys?" said Zane.
Erza yelled,"Put me down now so that I may punish you!". "That sounds like a really bad idea for me Prude Knight." said Zane. "Zane. Put her down. She's just worried." said Mira. "I know that but she should know that I'm an S-Class wizard in name only and I can handle this." said Zane, putting her down. She was soon gone as Zane said,"I better get going. See you guys later.". He was gone as Mira thought,"I do hope she doesn't kill him for this but Erza's rage isn't much better than Zanes.".
Back on the beach, Sly saw Zane return with her saying,"So how mad is she?". "Pretty. So have any one of them woke up yet?" said Zane, pointing to his unconscious guildmates. "Not yet. All of them have been sleeping since you left and that was an hour ago. You really did spook them by freezing a tidal wave solid." said Sly. "And if I didn't, we would be all be separated. Time to wake these fools up and fast." said Zane.
He soon turned into a familiar form aka Sound Form. He's six feet tall. His body is made out of metal and it's an obsidian black color. In the center of his chest, he has a navy blue glowing diamond shape. He has three navy blue stripes on his arms and legs with one stripe going down the center of his chest, ignoring the diamond shape. He overall has a round design to him with his arms and legs being longer than normal. He has two green eyes which are in the shape of lines.
His angular and wide motorcycle shaped head has two red cables ,on each sides of his head, with them connecting to his neck. His forehead is silver. His ears are in the shape of headphones with them being rather pronounced and cube-shaped. He has five fingers and toes. They are navy blue with two obsidian black stripes. He has several navy blue circular indents over his body being that all of them are speakers.
The palms of his hands and soles also have them and are much bigger than the ones that cover his body. All of them except for the indents on the palms of his hands and soles of his feet are covered by his discs. His discs are obsidian black with silver edges and a navy blue circle on one side. The navy blue circle connects to the indents on his body. He has three disks on both arms and legs, two in the center of his chest, and two on his back. He wears silver fingerless gloves and boots.
Zane cracked his neck as he said in a really robotic voice with his mouth not moving,"Time to wake them all. It's past noon and we got a job to do.". Zane made four copies of himself being that there were now five Sound Forms on the beach. The group walked around the group of four unconscious wizards. Zane raised his right hand with him counting down from three. Upon reaching zero, Zane said,"Surround Sound!".
The five sound robots released a powerful sound wave as all four Fairy Tail wizards woke up. Natsu screamed out in pain as he said,"My ears! Make it stop for the love of Mavis!". He held his hand over his ears and Lucy said,"Turn it off right now!". She punched the nearest Sound Form's leg and it hurt her a great deal. "Ow! What the heck are you made out of?!" said Lucy. "I'm made of metal you dumb blondie." said Zane as he was soon back to normal.
After several minutes, everyone had recovered from Zane's sonic attack being that Zane was resting nearby them, sleeping under a tree. "So we made to Galuna Island right you guys?" said Natsu with a smile on his face. "We're lucky that Zane was here. So how did he get us here again?" said Lucy as she looked at him. "Yeah. She has a point. All I can remember is that sonic blast he gave us and pretty much nothing else." said Gray.
Natsu looked at him as he said,""So who freed you from the candy syrup prison?". "Is that seriously your first response to someone who survived a tidal wave?!" said Gray. "If you can't recall guys, Zane used Glacier Form to freeze the tidal wave which knocked all of you out upon seeing it and well, he's resting." said Sly. Sly looked at Gray with her saying,"You're lucky that Zane decided to free you since he's really tired right now.". "He's tired?" said Happy.
Sly said,"Yeah. He just spend the last eight hours, waiting for you guys to wake up and also went to the mainland to get some coffee plus some other stuff. He got his coffee but he's still tired. So don't try to wake him. He's at forty eight minutes so be patient okay? It won't be that long plus its good to get our bearings straight.". "We don't have time to waste. So go wake him up Happy?" said Natsu with a smile.
Happy said,"Listen, I may be a cat but I'm not dumb enough to wake up a sleeping beast like that. I think Gray may do it.". "No way in hell. I'm not stupid." said Gray. The group waited as Zane woke up. "Okay gang. We got work to do." said Zane. "Yeah. I can't help but wonder what happened to that guy who brought us here. After telling us about the curse, he was gone." said Lucy, cupping her chin in a thinking posture.
Cole said,"So are we going to tell them or what?". "Nah." said Zane. "Forget that Luce! Let's go exploring!" said Natsu. He soon began walking toward the nearby jungle with Happy following right after him. However, they were soon grabbed by Zane's telekinesis. "If you want to prove yourselves to the old geezer and Prude Knight, the mission comes first. Got it?" said Zane. "That sounds really lame Zane." said Happy. Zane soon glared at them with the two saying,"Yes sir! Mission time!".
Lucy sighed as she grabbed Natsu's arm. "According to the flier, there is one village on the whole island. The chief is the client so we should try and find him." said Lucy. "Wait a god dam minute idiots." said Gray, slowly getting back up to his feet. "You do know that you can't take us back to the guild hall since the boat was destroyed." said Natsu. Sly looked at Zane who shook his head. The boat was fine but he didn't want to say anything.
It was just in case this mission went overboard. "No shit sherlock. I'm coming with you guys. I don't care if Master Zane is allowed up there but if you two did, I would be pissed off. If you were kicked out, I wouldn't have a reason to kick your but everyday Natsu. Gramps and Erza may be upset at first but we pull this off, they won't be." said Gray. All of them smiled ,being Lucy and Natsu high-fived as well, except for Zane who said,"Lets go already.". The five soon went into the jungle.
Lucy said in a tired tone,"How are we supposed to get to that village again?". The day had been spent doing pretty done nothing being that Lucy was lucky that Gray and Natsu weren't at each other's throats thanks to Zane being there but the fact that Lucy need to rest or something about mosquitoes biting her, Natsu getting motion sick when traveling up steep slopes, Gray losing his clothes every other mile, and Happy making a needless comment was tempting Zane to throw them into a volcano.
Athena said,"They wouldn't last a second in one of those missions where you have to walk for a long period of time or any hard physical labor.". "If you keep complaining or doing something annoying, I will be even madder than I am now. It's getting dark soon so we have to stop and set up camp." said Zane. "We would be very faster if stripper didn't lose his clothes every second." said Natsu, glaring at Gray. "What about your stupid motion sickness flame brain?" said Gray.
Sly said,"Make them stop Zane. I can't handle any more petty fighting from them. It's like when Danny and Kevin are fighting about a video game but much worse.". "Understood." said Zane, turning into a new form. This is Psychic Form. He's now 7 feet tall. He looks to be a humanoid animal but what animal exactly is a mystery due it having several features of animals. He has a slim, yet muscular body frame that look built for swimming rather than fighting.
His legs look to be longer than normal humans. The main animal species this form looks to be is Leopard and lion with his stomach being a blue color. The rest of his body is a gray color with solid dark blue rosettes over his body. He has wavy blond hair with it naturally brushing over either his left or right eye. It always moves back and forth when he moves and it always covers his forehead. He has grayish-blue ,slitted pupils, eyes with red sclera.
He has four fingers and toes with retractable black claws and pale pink pads on his palms and soles of his hand and feet respectively. His hands are covered in dark black scars. He has white rounded ears with them being slightly torn and has a blue insides. He has pair of pointed teeth in his lower jaw, and five whiskers on both sides of his face. In the center of his forehead, there was a ruby red emerald cut gem.
This form has a long, yet thin and semi-transparent tail being that it curls at the end being that it has three blue, half rings on it and ends with a gold five-pointed star. His outfit is mainly a black jumpsuit with it having a dark green-red flame-like pattern near the knees and sleeves. His jumpsuit covers his entire chest, forearms, and quadriceps. His chest is shown and he wears a black bandana that was still exposing his hair.
He had a black metal stick that he uses for multiple uses being that it’s currently in the shape of a rapier at the moment. When he doesn’t use it, he sticks it along his back. Over his impressive body, he wears armor. He wears gold colored armor over his chest, knees, and shoulders being that he wears black colored armor over his forearms. He's also wearing a black robe. "So what can this one do?" said Lucy as she soon saw Zane's hands covered in a dark magenta flame like aura.
The two boys were grabbed by nothing as they said in unison,"Put us down Zane! Quit coping me!". The two were soon slammed into each other with Zane saying,"Now will you stop or I'll make you two kiss plus I'll show the guild.". "We'll be good!" said the two. Zane still kept them in the air as Happy said,"So Zane, I see fire!". He pointed to the distance as everyone looked to see where the cat had directed, seeing the glow that was given off by the flame.
It looked nearby being that the only village was close nearby. "What are we waiting for!? Lets go already!" said Natsu. He was going to run off but he was soon held in place. "Not happening. I'm not in the mood anymore. I have a thin amount of patience for stupid actions aka whatever it is you're planning." said Zane. The group was soon in front of a small village with a very tall wooden gate. The gate has a sign stating,"KEEP OUT". Above, sharp spikes line the gate.
On both sides, there are two large posts, and on the top are two large spikes that were connected to those posts. A wall encircles the entire village to further protect it from outsiders. "See! I told you there was fire!" said Happy. On the top of the gate, there was a small fire to allow the gatekeeper sleeping below. He was currently asleep. "Sleeping on the job. That's nothing new for us to sleep but wow." said Twilight.
Gray and Natsu were soon put on the ground with Natsu said,"So are you going to keep doing that to me?". "Yes. We don't know what could happen while on this island. Heck, this could be a fake village to trick wizards." said Zane. "We found the village so what's the plan?" said Gray. Zane could hear voices on the other end so he knew they were in the right place. "It must be for protection. We just need to wake up the guards." said Lucy. Zane smiled as he said,"I got this.".
He soon picked up ,using his right hand, a pebble-sized rock being that he was aimed them right toward the guard's helmet. Lucy stepped forward to the gate and knocked onto it. "Excuse us sirs! We came to help you!" said Lucy. The only answer they got was silence as Zane said,"Smart plan. Any other idea Einstein?". Lucy looked at him as she said with her hands at her hips,"And what was your plan?". "Remember the beach this morning. My plan is something like that." said Zane.
He soon aimed the rock right toward the helmet, hitting it dead on and starting him to a degree. He fell out of his chair and looked around confusedly. He didn't see the intruders down below being that one of them sticks the heck out. "Wow. That's a way to wake someone up. I should do that to you Zane." said Natsu, with a grin etched onto his face and he chuckled. "If you ever do that, I'll be sending to something I call the Motion Sickness Express." said Zane.
Natsu's face was in shock as he said,"Please don't!". "Coward!" coughed Gray. The two glared at each other with Zane smacking them upside the head. "Let me make something clear. You two will not be blowing up anything or else, Luce will be mean to you for the rest of the job and for Gray, I will think of something. Does that sound fair Luce?" said Zane. "Sure." said Lucy. As they were talking, the guard and his buddy noticed them.
The guard who joined his friend said,"Halt intrudes! Who goes there?!". "We're wizards from Fairy Tail. We saw your request and came here to help you!" said Lucy. "Fairy Tail? Is one of you named Zane Alvarez also known as the Void Knight? We've been informed by Mistress Mira and Master Makrov about your arrival!" said the guard ,who was asleep, and now had hearts for eyes. "Wow. I think Mira is really popular Zane and you went on a date with her! You lucky dog." said Cole.
Zane rolled his eyes as he deactivated Psychic Form. "Show us your guild mark!" said the second guard as everyone but Zane showed their mark. Zane pointed to his jacket as the guards said,"They're here! They're really here!". "Wow. They sound really excited." said Kane. The gates were about to open as the heart eyes grunt said,"Strip the girl.". This caused a tick mark to form on Natsu's head as he yelled,"That ain't happening!".
He stepped in front of Lucy as he glared at the gate guard. "Yeah and you can already see everything on her so what's the point?" said Gray. Natsu soon glared at Gray with Zane said,"Simmer down or I will send you back to Prude Knight.". Natsu crossed his arms with him grumbling. "Sorry about that Mr. Void Knight! He's just not used to seeing new women. We don't get visitors mainly females here often. I'll open the door." said the second guard.
The gate soon opened up with it being followed by a large creaking sound. The wooden doors opened up as Natsu said,"Despite it taking us a long time here, I would say that our journey is going well so far.". The group soon walked through the small, underdeveloped village being that a large group of people being all of them is wearing ,from head to toe, in a plain tan-colored cloak that would allow nothing more than a fragment of their face to be revealed.
Kane said,"Zane. You can sense their energy right? You can tell the difference between Animus of a human sorcerer and Nether of a Phantom dog. This isn't normal.". "Yeah. I can and all of them remind me of that Bobo guy." said Zane. "Hey you guys. Did you feel like we were walking into a giant monster's mouth?" said Happy, with Sly looking back to noticed that the pointed ends of the gate looking like sharp teeth. "Huh. You're right about that Happy." said Sly.
Lucy looked at them ,with an annoyed look, as she said,"Are you two trying to freak me out?". "It wouldn't be the first time I've been eaten by a giant monster." said Zane. The group was soon in the center of the village with Zane soon noticing that their clothing covered their entire bodies except for their eyes. One of the cloaked townspeople walked forward and Zane could tell that it was a short and elderly man.
He had the most amount of magic power ,which was pretty small compared to the average human wizard, and he could tell that he was the village chief. He was holding a wooden staff that was topped off by a stone carved in the shape of a half-moon. "I'm Moka and also the Village Chief. I welcome you all to our village Void Knight and his sidekicks. We've read about you in the latest Sorcerer Weekly." said Moka. The rest of the group soon looked at Zane with them thinking,"Seriously?!".
Zane ,despite being able to read their minds, said,"It's nice to meet you all. So what do you need from me and my sidekicks?". "We need to put off pleasantries asides. There is something that all of you need to see. Now, my people!" said Moka. All of them soon dropped their cloaks with Zane knowing that they weren't going to attack them. The group soon saw a familiar ,yet disturbing, sight. For the most part, the people there looked human but had a demonic body part.
Their arms were replaced with claws, their legs replaced with talons for their feet, and horns on their heads. The children were also effected by this. "Just like the sailor." said Gray. Natsu soon looked at Moka with him saying,"Holy crap! Your sideburns are huge!". "Despite him yelling, he does have a point." said Zane. "That isn't the point you two!" said Lucy, smacking Natsu but not Zane. "You really need to calm down Lucy. I mean Zane does this all the time even political figures." said Sly.
Moka has tan skin and he's bald which makes his long silver sideburns ,that run from the length of his face down to his hips, even noticeable. His right arm is a dark blue/purple claw. He wears a necklace made of what appear to be large animal teeth centered by a skull. He's also wearing a dark blue cape that was draped down from his shoulders to the back of his knees. It also features a crescent moon symbol.
He also wears a white tribal-like kilt. His kilt had a red ringed circle and two green stripes encircling near the trimmings of the kilt, which is also cut decoratively. He has gold rings on both of his legs and his left arm. "All of you look at my arm. All of us have suffered horrible disfigurement ,including animals, from the curse." said Moka. "I tried not to be rude most of the time but you can't change yourself. Are you 100% sure that this is a curse? I've seen my fair share of curses." said Zane.
He looked around as he said,"Most islands have some kind of infectious disease or toxin so it won't be that far out of left field..". "We've been to countless doctors. All have said one thing though. The disease to turn beings into demons doesn't now exist." said Moka. "May I try something before I'm going to say that this is a curse that afflicted this island?" said Zane. Moka nodded as Zane looked at his watch. "Athena. Scan these people and tell me what's going on." said Zane.
Moka and his people were soon scanned by a emerald green ray of energy. The ray was soon gone as Athena soon said for everyone to hear,"Zane. Their DNA is being blocked by a magical barrier which mainly consist of raw Ethernano being that it's currently blocking out their DNA for the moment. I think you know what to do.". "Yes. I do and my theory is proving more correct by the minute. Thanks anyway Athena. You're a good partner." said Zane.
Zane looked at them as he said,"Sorry. I have a way to fix you but I kinda need to know what made all of you like that. So when did this demonification happen?". "It all begin when the moon fell under an evil spell." said Moka. "What kind of spell?" said Lucy. "Did she really just ask that?" said Kane as he raised an eyebrow. "Since ancient times, this island has absorbed the light of the moon causing it to glow almost as beautifully as the moon itself." said Moka.
Moka sighed as he said,"However a few years ago, the moon's color changed. It cast an eerie purple glow was cast upon the island.". "Purple? I've never seen anything like that before." said Natsu, as he crossed his arms. "Same." said Lucy. "That's what most of the mainlanders say but the moon does turn purple here. Upon the purple moon showing up, our bodies started to change." said Moka as Happy looked upwards. "Hey guys! The moon is out from behind the clouds!" said Happy.
The night ,so far, had been rather cloudy being that the moon itself had yet to make an appearance being that it was purple and giving off an eerie glow. "Okay. This isn't normal but neither is this mission at all. I've seen all colors of moons before including purple moons but they don't have magic inside of them." thought Zane. "Oh wow. It's really is purple." said Lucy. "It's pretty ugly to me but hey, I don't really care what color the moon is." said Gray.
Moka looked at them with him saying,"This is the curse of the moon! Stand back, the Change is upon us!". He soon gasped over in pain with the rest of the villagers howling out in pain. They were in very much agony. "What the!" said Lucy. Their skin became scales, they had fur and spikes, being that all of them looked demons. "They're changing!" said Gray. "No really!" said Sly. "Why is this happening to them of all people?" said Natsu, holding a great sense of sympathy toward them.
Zane felt this as well being that Frankenstein Form isn't exactly the most pleasant to turn into despite its power. Moka's skin was now purple ,with dark violet spots covering his body, with his right arm now matching his left arm and legs, being demonic. He also had two pointed ears and a pair of horns which made his baldness better. "I'm sorry if our appearance frightens you." said Moka. "It's not that at all. I'm just confused." said Gray. "You poor people." said Lucy.
Natsu soon looked at them as he said,"You're right Luce but man. You guys got horns and stuff, it's so awesome!". Everyone ,except for Sly and Zane, else could only stare at him in disbelief with the fire dragon slayer gushing about how awesome they look in their minds. "Huh?" said the group all at once except for Zane who smiled. "He thinks we look cool." said a male. "Wow. Thanks for that. We don't get compliments like that anymore." said a female.
Lucy slapped Natsu upside the head as she said,"Natsu! You're being really insensitive! They don't want to look like this!". "Seriously? My bad. I guess we should help them out then." said Natsu. "I think that's our job fire for brains." said Sly. "Get a clue." said Gray. "Hey. I have to agree with him but it should be their choice not some "curse"." said Zane. "Still doubtful boy?" said Moka. "Zane is a skeptical person. You usually need hard evidence to change his mind." said Sly.
Moka said,"Anyway as you can see when the purple moon shows up, everyone in the village takes on the form of the demon. You says that it isn't a curse but what else could it be?". As he was talking, the villagers were crying. "Once it's morning, we return back to normal. However, there are some poor souls who never return back to human forms because they have lost their minds." said Moka. "How sad." said Lucy. "It's sad yes but we can only put them to death." said Moka.
Natsu said while clenching his fists,"But they could change back to normal someday!". "If we wait too long, others could be killed by those demons. We've tried hold them in prisons but they always break out." said Moka. He began crying as he soon held a photograph, being that it was Bobo. "There is no way to reverse it. This curse forced me to kill my very own son." said Moka. The village chief soon let the photo fall to the ground, letting the others see the picture.
Lucy said,"That's the guy who.....". Gray stopped her as he shook his head. "Don't. We know why he was gone. His spirit couldn't rest in piece." said Gray. "He was a g-ghost?!" said Lucy with her soon covering in goosebumps. "Ha. You two are funny. Bobo isn't a Phantom at all. He didn't have Neither and even in other dimensions, all Ghosts/Phantoms have Nether inside of them. This is something else and Zane, calm down a bit. I can feel your rage building." said Sivarth.
Zane soon grabbed Moka ,shocking everyone but Sly, and yelled,"You sideburns bastard! You just killed a member of your family and your son at that! What the fuck is wrong with you! Even if they are not human anymore, they're still your family or friends! Family should always stick together and it doesn't matter what they look like! I know what a real demon looks like and trust me, you're getting very close to becoming a demon!".
He soon dropped the chief with him bowing to the group. "I know that Void Knight. It's just I just want this awful curse from our island. In time, all of us will be dead and from the demons curse. We will die." said Moka. Zane sighed as he got onto his knees. "I know what it's like to kill something that you care about. It isn't easy but I'm a father myself and I could never lay a deadly hand on my child, regardless if they share my blood. I just get mad when people kill family." said Zane.
Gray and Lucy looked at him with a confused look. Zane was a dad despite looking around their age being that he must be talking a pet or something. Boy are they wrong. Natsu gritted his teeth with him clenching his fist. "We won't let that happen! We'll save you guys and the island!" said Natsu with a determination. "Yeah. What can we do for you people?" said Zane. "There is only one way to remove the curse, you need to destroy the moon!" said Moka, pointing at the moon.
Gray and Lucy yelled from shock,"What?!!!". "Now that sounds like fun!" said Natsu, punching a flaming fist into his palm. "Yeah. I mean it'll take the two tallest buildings in the village and I can just launch myself there or just fly but that' line." said Zane. "That was in the city Zane." said Sly. "It could work. I just need to use my webs and candy syrup plus I'm stronger than I was back then." said Zane. As the trio of Natsu, Sly, and Zane talked, the other three weren't feeling the same way.
Fifteen minutes later, crickets were chirping being that someone where in Earthland, someone was making a really bad joke. The group from Fairy Tail was soon ushered into a small hut, away from the purple light. "Wow. I never knew that the moon could be so creepy." said Happy. He was sitting on a windowsill, looking out at the moon. "Happy, close the dam window. Didn't you hear what the chief said?" said Lucy, unpacking her bag.
Happy said,"Honestly, I forgot.". "Sometimes cat. If we get too exposed to the moonlight, we'll turn into demons and I really don't want to become a freaky looking monster." said Lucy. "Wow. That was just rude Triple B." said Zane, leaning against the wall and smoking with his puff of smoke from his cigarette. "Since when have you been a smoker?" said Lucy. "For a long time now. It calms me down but I wouldn't recommend it. Bad for the lungs and all that crap." said Zane.
Zane looked at Happy with him saying,"Happy. Close the window but keep it a little open so I can move the smoke outside.". "Aye!" said Happy. "That was a really interesting start to the mission huh guys." said Lucy. "To be honest, I would have to agree with you." said Sly. "I'm not so sure about this job you guys." said Natsu, looking more annoyed than worried. He was slouching in his chair. "Yeah Natsu. Do they really want us to blow up the moon?" said Gray.
Lucy looked right at Natsu and Zane with her saying,"Don't even try you two.". "Hey Zane. How many punches do you think it would take to destroy the moon?" said Natsu, clenching his fist. "You can't be serious man!" said Gray. He sighed as he said,"It's impossible to destroy the Moon, freaking dumbass.". "I hate to agree with Gray but he's right. No wizard can do something like that." said Lucy as she sat in a seat across from Natsu.
Natsu looked at her and Gray as he said,"But that's what we were hired to do. We can't just give up because the job is too hard. If we do that, Fairy Tail would look back and these people could die from the curse.". "You're right man but it's impossible. Oh right, tell me how the hell are you even going to get there anyways? You can't exactly fly without Happy." said Gray. "And I can't reach that height because there is no oxygen in space." said Happy.
Sly coughed as she said,"Zane has done it before.". "You have?! So cool!" said Natsu. "And how did you do that?" said Lucy. "Don't need to be skeptical Triple B. We can destroy the moon and I could have done it earlier but no, you just had to tell them that we'll do it tomorrow night." said Zane. "I may not believe you but how did you do it?" said Gray. Despite him not believing that none of them could do it, it sounded cool to him. He's a guy after all.
Zane said,"It's simple. You would first need to fly up there ,with your magic or flying companion like Happy or Sly, and have a steady supply of oxygen for you and your flying buddy. You then need to smash the moon, freeing the people from this "curse" they have. However, you would to make a new one because well, there are a lot of ecological problems by doing this. Do you want me to go do it now?". "No!" said Gray and Lucy in unison.
Zane sighed as he said,"Fine. Bunch of party poopers I'm stuck with. Anyway. I have a bad feeling about this island. Ever since we met Bobo, I've been sensing this weird energy. It's like the magic energy that surrounds all wizards but demonic. I'm still on the fence about the curse. According to Athena, there is a magical barrier around them and it's preventing me from healing them. I'm going to check out the island from the outside once you all go to sleep.".
Lucy said,"Don't you need to sleep?". "Only for an hour but the moon isn't the problem. Destroying the moon isn't a big worry to me but it could be for others." said Zane. "Huh?" said Happy. "Think about it. The villagers only turn into demons when the light of the purple moon shines on them but the moon itself can't changes colors completely. It's only purple here. Something changed the moon to that color so we need to find out what that is to save these people." said Sly.
Lucy was soon hit by Gray's shirt with Zane saying,"Nice shot.". Gray was stripped into his boxers and silver necklace. "Whatever man. I'm getting some shut eye but before I go to sleep." said Gray as he looked at Zane. "Please don't take off anymore." said Lucy. "He won't right?" said Natsu, with him plopping down onto his mat on the floor as Happy joined him on his mat. "I won't. Why did you want the three of us to join us on your quest with Sly?" said Gray.
He soon was soon on his mat about to fall asleep as Zane said while getting ready to go,"Because the way that your guild decides who is S-Class is stupid. There are only three ways with one way being maybe once a year and the other two completely impossibles. I'm going to see if you or Natsu are ready for that title. Lucy, you're not even close to be S-Class. I can't just stand seeing these people suffering.".
Sly knew that Zane's hero complex was acting up. "As a human being, you can't turn a blind eye to pure suffering like that. It's impossible. Rules are important. I'll give you that but sometimes rules are nothing more than an obstacle in your path to saving lives." said Zane. He soon turned into Turbo Form with him getting ready to fly. "You would say something like that. I hope you know that Erza will be coming for our hides really soon." said Gray.
The rest of the team's faces paled with Sly saying,"I still don't get why you're scared of her to be honest with you.". "Seriously?! How can you not?!" said Happy. "I mean when she's mad, she's a little scared but Erza is super nice." said Natsu. Lucy nodded being that she was scared of Erza a little but Gray was terrified of her. "I really don't see it Natsu. If push comes to shove, I'll deal with her myself I promise. Later. Turbo!" said Zane. He was soon gone from the village.

Classic Cards/Forms that were introduced in Zero:
Glacier Form. This card has a black frame with a glacier in the background alongside a very strange creature ,being a fusion of ice and pterodactyl, in the front of the frozen rock. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 94 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. This form is a faster version of Frost Form but Frost Form is still a force to reckon with. This form later gets a change/upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. t's very similar to Brain and Frost Form being that instead of going through a metamorphosis, both Glacier Form and its Prime Form progress into the future or matures according to Parker. It was also done by Parker himself and it's seen in person around the time of Zero Episode 110 alongside its Prime Form.
Sound Form. This card has a black frame with a picture of a rainbow colored sound wave. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 23 and its Prime Form was introduced in Zero Episode 91. This form is a master of Sound being that him and Voice Form are equal. However, Sound Form is more of a fighter than Voice Form.

Gray and Natsu were soon put on the ground with Natsu said,"So are you going to keep doing that to me?". "Yes. We don't know what could happen while on this island. Heck, this could be a fake village to trick wizards." said Zane. "We found the village so what's the plan?" said Gray. Zane could hear voices on the other end so he knew they were in the right place. "It must be for protection. We just need to wake up the guards." said Lucy. Zane smiled as he said,"I got this.".
He soon picked up ,using his right hand, a pebble-sized rock being that he was aimed them right toward the guard's helmet. Lucy stepped forward to the gate and knocked onto it. "Excuse us sirs! We came to help you!" said Lucy. The only answer they got was silence as Zane said,"Smart plan. Any other idea Einstein?". Lucy looked at him as she said with her hands at her hips,"And what was your plan?". "Remember the beach this morning. My plan is something like that." said Zane.
He soon aimed the rock right toward the helmet, hitting it dead on and starting him to a degree. He fell out of his chair and looked around confusedly. He didn't see the intruders down below being that one of them sticks the heck out. "Wow. That's a way to wake someone up. I should do that to you Zane." said Natsu, with a grin etched onto his face and he chuckled. "If you ever do that, I'll be sending to something I call the Motion Sickness Express." said Zane.
Natsu's face was in shock as he said,"Please don't!". "Coward!" coughed Gray. The two glared at each other with Zane smacking them upside the head. "Let me make something clear. You two will not be blowing up anything or else, Luce will be mean to you for the rest of the job and for Gray, I will think of something. Does that sound fair Luce?" said Zane. "Sure." said Lucy. As they were talking, the guard and his buddy noticed them.
The guard who joined his friend said,"Halt intrudes! Who goes there?!". "We're wizards from Fairy Tail. We saw your request and came here to help you!" said Lucy. "Fairy Tail? Is one of you named Zane Alvarez also known as the Void Knight? We've been informed by Mistress Mira and Master Makrov about your arrival!" said the guard ,who was asleep, and now had hearts for eyes. "Wow. I think Mira is really popular Zane and you went on a date with her! You lucky dog." said Cole.
Zane rolled his eyes as he deactivated Psychic Form. "Show us your guild mark!" said the second guard as everyone but Zane showed their mark. Zane pointed to his jacket as the guards said,"They're here! They're really here!". "Wow. They sound really excited." said Kane. The gates were about to open as the heart eyes grunt said,"Strip the girl.". This caused a tick mark to form on Natsu's head as he yelled,"That ain't happening!".
He stepped in front of Lucy as he glared at the gate guard. "Yeah and you can already see everything on her so what's the point?" said Gray. Natsu soon glared at Gray with Zane said,"Simmer down or I will send you back to Prude Knight.". Natsu crossed his arms with him grumbling. "Sorry about that Mr. Void Knight! He's just not used to seeing new women. We don't get visitors mainly females here often. I'll open the door." said the second guard.
The gate soon opened up with it being followed by a large creaking sound. The wooden doors opened up as Natsu said,"Despite it taking us a long time here, I would say that our journey is going well so far.". The group soon walked through the small, underdeveloped village being that a large group of people being all of them is wearing ,from head to toe, in a plain tan-colored cloak that would allow nothing more than a fragment of their face to be revealed.
Kane said,"Zane. You can sense their energy right? You can tell the difference between Animus of a human sorcerer and Nether of a Phantom dog. This isn't normal.". "Yeah. I can and all of them remind me of that Bobo guy." said Zane. "Hey you guys. Did you feel like we were walking into a giant monster's mouth?" said Happy, with Sly looking back to noticed that the pointed ends of the gate looking like sharp teeth. "Huh. You're right about that Happy." said Sly.
Lucy looked at them ,with an annoyed look, as she said,"Are you two trying to freak me out?". "It wouldn't be the first time I've been eaten by a giant monster." said Zane. The group was soon in the center of the village with Zane soon noticing that their clothing covered their entire bodies except for their eyes. One of the cloaked townspeople walked forward and Zane could tell that it was a short and elderly man.
He had the most amount of magic power ,which was pretty small compared to the average human wizard, and he could tell that he was the village chief. He was holding a wooden staff that was topped off by a stone carved in the shape of a half-moon. "I'm Moka and also the Village Chief. I welcome you all to our village Void Knight and his sidekicks. We've read about you in the latest Sorcerer Weekly." said Moka. The rest of the group soon looked at Zane with them thinking,"Seriously?!".
Zane ,despite being able to read their minds, said,"It's nice to meet you all. So what do you need from me and my sidekicks?". "We need to put off pleasantries asides. There is something that all of you need to see. Now, my people!" said Moka. All of them soon dropped their cloaks with Zane knowing that they weren't going to attack them. The group soon saw a familiar ,yet disturbing, sight. For the most part, the people there looked human but had a demonic body part.
Their arms were replaced with claws, their legs replaced with talons for their feet, and horns on their heads. The children were also effected by this. "Just like the sailor." said Gray. Natsu soon looked at Moka with him saying,"Holy crap! Your sideburns are huge!". "Despite him yelling, he does have a point." said Zane. "That isn't the point you two!" said Lucy, smacking Natsu but not Zane. "You really need to calm down Lucy. I mean Zane does this all the time even political figures." said Sly.
Moka has tan skin and he's bald which makes his long silver sideburns ,that run from the length of his face down to his hips, even noticeable. His right arm is a dark blue/purple claw. He wears a necklace made of what appear to be large animal teeth centered by a skull. He's also wearing a dark blue cape that was draped down from his shoulders to the back of his knees. It also features a crescent moon symbol.
He also wears a white tribal-like kilt. His kilt had a red ringed circle and two green stripes encircling near the trimmings of the kilt, which is also cut decoratively. He has gold rings on both of his legs and his left arm. "All of you look at my arm. All of us have suffered horrible disfigurement ,including animals, from the curse." said Moka. "I tried not to be rude most of the time but you can't change yourself. Are you 100% sure that this is a curse? I've seen my fair share of curses." said Zane.
He looked around as he said,"Most islands have some kind of infectious disease or toxin so it won't be that far out of left field..". "We've been to countless doctors. All have said one thing though. The disease to turn beings into demons doesn't now exist." said Moka. "May I try something before I'm going to say that this is a curse that afflicted this island?" said Zane. Moka nodded as Zane looked at his watch. "Athena. Scan these people and tell me what's going on." said Zane.
Moka and his people were soon scanned by a emerald green ray of energy. The ray was soon gone as Athena soon said for everyone to hear,"Zane. Their DNA is being blocked by a magical barrier which mainly consist of raw Ethernano being that it's currently blocking out their DNA for the moment. I think you know what to do.". "Yes. I do and my theory is proving more correct by the minute. Thanks anyway Athena. You're a good partner." said Zane.
Zane looked at them as he said,"Sorry. I have a way to fix you but I kinda need to know what made all of you like that. So when did this demonification happen?". "It all begin when the moon fell under an evil spell." said Moka. "What kind of spell?" said Lucy. "Did she really just ask that?" said Kane as he raised an eyebrow. "Since ancient times, this island has absorbed the light of the moon causing it to glow almost as beautifully as the moon itself." said Moka.
Moka sighed as he said,"However a few years ago, the moon's color changed. It cast an eerie purple glow was cast upon the island.". "Purple? I've never seen anything like that before." said Natsu, as he crossed his arms. "Same." said Lucy. "That's what most of the mainlanders say but the moon does turn purple here. Upon the purple moon showing up, our bodies started to change." said Moka as Happy looked upwards. "Hey guys! The moon is out from behind the clouds!" said Happy.
The night ,so far, had been rather cloudy being that the moon itself had yet to make an appearance being that it was purple and giving off an eerie glow. "Okay. This isn't normal but neither is this mission at all. I've seen all colors of moons before including purple moons but they don't have magic inside of them." thought Zane. "Oh wow. It's really is purple." said Lucy. "It's pretty ugly to me but hey, I don't really care what color the moon is." said Gray.
Moka looked at them with him saying,"This is the curse of the moon! Stand back, the Change is upon us!". He soon gasped over in pain with the rest of the villagers howling out in pain. They were in very much agony. "What the!" said Lucy. Their skin became scales, they had fur and spikes, being that all of them looked demons. "They're changing!" said Gray. "No really!" said Sly. "Why is this happening to them of all people?" said Natsu, holding a great sense of sympathy toward them.
Zane felt this as well being that Frankenstein Form isn't exactly the most pleasant to turn into despite its power. Moka's skin was now purple ,with dark violet spots covering his body, with his right arm now matching his left arm and legs, being demonic. He also had two pointed ears and a pair of horns which made his baldness better. "I'm sorry if our appearance frightens you." said Moka. "It's not that at all. I'm just confused." said Gray. "You poor people." said Lucy.
Natsu soon looked at them as he said,"You're right Luce but man. You guys got horns and stuff, it's so awesome!". Everyone ,except for Sly and Zane, else could only stare at him in disbelief with the fire dragon slayer gushing about how awesome they look in their minds. "Huh?" said the group all at once except for Zane who smiled. "He thinks we look cool." said a male. "Wow. Thanks for that. We don't get compliments like that anymore." said a female.
Lucy slapped Natsu upside the head as she said,"Natsu! You're being really insensitive! They don't want to look like this!". "Seriously? My bad. I guess we should help them out then." said Natsu. "I think that's our job fire for brains." said Sly. "Get a clue." said Gray. "Hey. I have to agree with him but it should be their choice not some "curse"." said Zane. "Still doubtful boy?" said Moka. "Zane is a skeptical person. You usually need hard evidence to change his mind." said Sly.
Moka said,"Anyway as you can see when the purple moon shows up, everyone in the village takes on the form of the demon. You says that it isn't a curse but what else could it be?". As he was talking, the villagers were crying. "Once it's morning, we return back to normal. However, there are some poor souls who never return back to human forms because they have lost their minds." said Moka. "How sad." said Lucy. "It's sad yes but we can only put them to death." said Moka.
Natsu said while clenching his fists,"But they could change back to normal someday!". "If we wait too long, others could be killed by those demons. We've tried hold them in prisons but they always break out." said Moka. He began crying as he soon held a photograph, being that it was Bobo. "There is no way to reverse it. This curse forced me to kill my very own son." said Moka. The village chief soon let the photo fall to the ground, letting the others see the picture.
Lucy said,"That's the guy who.....". Gray stopped her as he shook his head. "Don't. We know why he was gone. His spirit couldn't rest in piece." said Gray. "He was a g-ghost?!" said Lucy with her soon covering in goosebumps. "Ha. You two are funny. Bobo isn't a Phantom at all. He didn't have Neither and even in other dimensions, all Ghosts/Phantoms have Nether inside of them. This is something else and Zane, calm down a bit. I can feel your rage building." said Sivarth.
Zane soon grabbed Moka ,shocking everyone but Sly, and yelled,"You sideburns bastard! You just killed a member of your family and your son at that! What the fuck is wrong with you! Even if they are not human anymore, they're still your family or friends! Family should always stick together and it doesn't matter what they look like! I know what a real demon looks like and trust me, you're getting very close to becoming a demon!".
He soon dropped the chief with him bowing to the group. "I know that Void Knight. It's just I just want this awful curse from our island. In time, all of us will be dead and from the demons curse. We will die." said Moka. Zane sighed as he got onto his knees. "I know what it's like to kill something that you care about. It isn't easy but I'm a father myself and I could never lay a deadly hand on my child, regardless if they share my blood. I just get mad when people kill family." said Zane.
Gray and Lucy looked at him with a confused look. Zane was a dad despite looking around their age being that he must be talking a pet or something. Boy are they wrong. Natsu gritted his teeth with him clenching his fist. "We won't let that happen! We'll save you guys and the island!" said Natsu with a determination. "Yeah. What can we do for you people?" said Zane. "There is only one way to remove the curse, you need to destroy the moon!" said Moka, pointing at the moon.
Gray and Lucy yelled from shock,"What?!!!". "Now that sounds like fun!" said Natsu, punching a flaming fist into his palm. "Yeah. I mean it'll take the two tallest buildings in the village and I can just launch myself there or just fly but that' line." said Zane. "That was in the city Zane." said Sly. "It could work. I just need to use my webs and candy syrup plus I'm stronger than I was back then." said Zane. As the trio of Natsu, Sly, and Zane talked, the other three weren't feeling the same way.
Fifteen minutes later, crickets were chirping being that someone where in Earthland, someone was making a really bad joke. The group from Fairy Tail was soon ushered into a small hut, away from the purple light. "Wow. I never knew that the moon could be so creepy." said Happy. He was sitting on a windowsill, looking out at the moon. "Happy, close the dam window. Didn't you hear what the chief said?" said Lucy, unpacking her bag.
Happy said,"Honestly, I forgot.". "Sometimes cat. If we get too exposed to the moonlight, we'll turn into demons and I really don't want to become a freaky looking monster." said Lucy. "Wow. That was just rude Triple B." said Zane, leaning against the wall and smoking with his puff of smoke from his cigarette. "Since when have you been a smoker?" said Lucy. "For a long time now. It calms me down but I wouldn't recommend it. Bad for the lungs and all that crap." said Zane.
Zane looked at Happy with him saying,"Happy. Close the window but keep it a little open so I can move the smoke outside.". "Aye!" said Happy. "That was a really interesting start to the mission huh guys." said Lucy. "To be honest, I would have to agree with you." said Sly. "I'm not so sure about this job you guys." said Natsu, looking more annoyed than worried. He was slouching in his chair. "Yeah Natsu. Do they really want us to blow up the moon?" said Gray.
Lucy looked right at Natsu and Zane with her saying,"Don't even try you two.". "Hey Zane. How many punches do you think it would take to destroy the moon?" said Natsu, clenching his fist. "You can't be serious man!" said Gray. He sighed as he said,"It's impossible to destroy the Moon, freaking dumbass.". "I hate to agree with Gray but he's right. No wizard can do something like that." said Lucy as she sat in a seat across from Natsu.
Natsu looked at her and Gray as he said,"But that's what we were hired to do. We can't just give up because the job is too hard. If we do that, Fairy Tail would look back and these people could die from the curse.". "You're right man but it's impossible. Oh right, tell me how the hell are you even going to get there anyways? You can't exactly fly without Happy." said Gray. "And I can't reach that height because there is no oxygen in space." said Happy.
Sly coughed as she said,"Zane has done it before.". "You have?! So cool!" said Natsu. "And how did you do that?" said Lucy. "Don't need to be skeptical Triple B. We can destroy the moon and I could have done it earlier but no, you just had to tell them that we'll do it tomorrow night." said Zane. "I may not believe you but how did you do it?" said Gray. Despite him not believing that none of them could do it, it sounded cool to him. He's a guy after all.
Zane said,"It's simple. You would first need to fly up there ,with your magic or flying companion like Happy or Sly, and have a steady supply of oxygen for you and your flying buddy. You then need to smash the moon, freeing the people from this "curse" they have. However, you would to make a new one because well, there are a lot of ecological problems by doing this. Do you want me to go do it now?". "No!" said Gray and Lucy in unison.
Zane sighed as he said,"Fine. Bunch of party poopers I'm stuck with. Anyway. I have a bad feeling about this island. Ever since we met Bobo, I've been sensing this weird energy. It's like the magic energy that surrounds all wizards but demonic. I'm still on the fence about the curse. According to Athena, there is a magical barrier around them and it's preventing me from healing them. I'm going to check out the island from the outside once you all go to sleep.".
Lucy said,"Don't you need to sleep?". "Only for an hour but the moon isn't the problem. Destroying the moon isn't a big worry to me but it could be for others." said Zane. "Huh?" said Happy. "Think about it. The villagers only turn into demons when the light of the purple moon shines on them but the moon itself can't changes colors completely. It's only purple here. Something changed the moon to that color so we need to find out what that is to save these people." said Sly.
Lucy was soon hit by Gray's shirt with Zane saying,"Nice shot.". Gray was stripped into his boxers and silver necklace. "Whatever man. I'm getting some shut eye but before I go to sleep." said Gray as he looked at Zane. "Please don't take off anymore." said Lucy. "He won't right?" said Natsu, with him plopping down onto his mat on the floor as Happy joined him on his mat. "I won't. Why did you want the three of us to join us on your quest with Sly?" said Gray.
He soon was soon on his mat about to fall asleep as Zane said while getting ready to go,"Because the way that your guild decides who is S-Class is stupid. There are only three ways with one way being maybe once a year and the other two completely impossibles. I'm going to see if you or Natsu are ready for that title. Lucy, you're not even close to be S-Class. I can't just stand seeing these people suffering.".
Sly knew that Zane's hero complex was acting up. "As a human being, you can't turn a blind eye to pure suffering like that. It's impossible. Rules are important. I'll give you that but sometimes rules are nothing more than an obstacle in your path to saving lives." said Zane. He soon turned into Turbo Form with him getting ready to fly. "You would say something like that. I hope you know that Erza will be coming for our hides really soon." said Gray.
The rest of the team's faces paled with Sly saying,"I still don't get why you're scared of her to be honest with you.". "Seriously?! How can you not?!" said Happy. "I mean when she's mad, she's a little scared but Erza is super nice." said Natsu. Lucy nodded being that she was scared of Erza a little but Gray was terrified of her. "I really don't see it Natsu. If push comes to shove, I'll deal with her myself I promise. Later. Turbo!" said Zane. He was soon gone from the village.

Classic Cards/Forms that were introduced in Zero:
Glacier Form. This card has a black frame with a glacier in the background alongside a very strange creature ,being a fusion of ice and pterodactyl, in the front of the frozen rock. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 94 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. This form is a faster version of Frost Form but Frost Form is still a force to reckon with. This form later gets a change/upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. t's very similar to Brain and Frost Form being that instead of going through a metamorphosis, both Glacier Form and its Prime Form progress into the future or matures according to Parker. It was also done by Parker himself and it's seen in person around the time of Zero Episode 110 alongside its Prime Form.
Sound Form. This card has a black frame with a picture of a rainbow colored sound wave. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 23 and its Prime Form was introduced in Zero Episode 91. This form is a master of Sound being that him and Voice Form are equal. However, Sound Form is more of a fighter than Voice Form.
New Cards/Forms that haven't been seen in Zero yet:
Psychic Form. This card has a black frame with a purple and pink hypnotism spiral in the center of this card. This Form hasn't been introduced in Zero yet and it does have a Prime Form. This form is Zane's strongest psychic form being able to fight against an army of psychics without going into his Prime Form. Whenever he uses his powers, he gets a dark magenta flame like aura around his hands.
