Disclaimer: This Post had originally been posted on September 18, 2018 at 2:09 PM. I'm reposting this Chapter along with Fairy Legion Chapters 1-26 because of a massive plot change. If you've read this story before, not much will have changed except Zane's reason for going to the Fairy Tail Dimension. The Author Note and whatever I talk about in them may or will be extremely outdated today or I'm somehow seeing the future so just ignore if you want.
A/N: Yeah. That was a stomp. I mean if you thought that Zane's fight with Lullaby was a stomp, his fight with Deliora crushed that. You may have noticed that Natsu was pretty much out of the fight due to him being trapped in Zane's webbing. Don't worry. He'll reappeared with him being mad about him missing the fight rather than Zane doing that to him. Natsu likes fighting and well, Zane's fight with Deliora was a fight and one that he didn't miss.
Don't worry. Gray, Lyon, and Ur will reunite but with Ultear and Ur? Who knows? You may have noticed that I'm not doing a review of either One Piece or Edens Zero. I just want to get this arc done so this will be a very short Author Note. Also Zane also has Lazarus Soul out and right now, he isn't wearing a shirt. If you've read Zero or looked back at some previous notes, I've mentioned what color his fire, ice, lightning, tendril, and webs are.
This Chapter will also have a form introduced in it. Lets begin with the group except for Zane leaving the temple but since I want to show it off for shipping purposes. Lets see Erza and the group ,except for Sly being that she's with Ur and Zane is walking there after defeating Deliora with ease, finding Natsu trapped in Zane's webbing. I put him there for a reason and this is my reason but well, I could be wrong.
Narrator P.O.V.
Natsu was getting annoyed being that while he could hear the fighting going on, he was stuck here and couldn't do anything. He tried burning it away but it couldn't do anything. "Hey flamebrain. How is it hanging?" said a voice. Natsu soon turned to see Gray, Happy, Lucy, and Lyon with the latter being held up by Gray. "Screw you! Help me down!" said Natsu. "Can't you just burn it away?" said Lucy. "No. I can't Luce." said Natsu.
Before Gray or Lyon could freeze the webbing, it was soon cut. Natsu was about to fall on the floor with him being caught by Erza. "Wow. She's either late or she want to make a scene." said Lyon. "I'm going to say both." said Happy. "Erza?! Thanks for cutting me down." said Natsu. "You're welcoming Natsu so how did you get stuck to the walls?" said Erza. "Well, I was chasing after that weird mask guy and then I ran into a flower. I was soon knocked out and then webbed to the wall." said Natsu.
Gray smirked as he said,"So you were defeated by a flower and spider?". "No. He was defeated by a flower and Zane." said Lucy, crossing her arms when she remembering hearing about Zane webbing Natsu once just because he was annoying. Before Natsu could say something, Erza soon pulled Natsu into a tight hug. A small smile spread across Natsu's face with him returning Erza's embrace. The moment was soon ruined by a growl from Erza.
Normally, this would send any man jumping out of their skin. However, Natsu was slapped harshly across the face. "Ouch. That had to hurt." said Lyon. "It did Lyon. I think he's been slapped twice in the past month alone." said Gray. "Well, he deserves it. She made him really worried by going on this job without her permission." said Lucy, crossing her arms "Don't you ever think of following that selfish idiot ever again! I was incredibly worried about you!" yelled Erza.
Erza looked right in his eyes with her saying,"If you wanted to go on a S-Class mission, you could have just asked me and I would have gladly taken you and Lucy without question!". "What about me Erza?" said Happy. Gray shook his head as he said,"You're part of the group Happy so shut up before she gets mad at you too.". "I'm sorry Erza. I just wanted to prove to Laxus and Zane that I was worth fighting." said Natsu, hanging his head in shame.
Erza said with her anger toward him subsiding,"And why would you do that?". "That bastard Laxus insulted your strength Erza." said Natsu. He soon clenched his fists in anger with Erza's eyes widened when she heard this and her face tinged pink. "I can handle him putting me down but I won't stand for him insulting my Nakama, especially you Erza." said Natsu. "So what about Zane?" said Happy. "He is a different story and you know it." said Natsu.
He knew that Zane was strong being that despite not being able to see the fight, he could feel that Zane wasn't serious. He wondered if he could make Zane having a serious fight. "Natsu...you don't have to prove yourself to Laxus nor the bastard of a human. You're the amazing wizard I know." said Erza with a warm smile. "Yeah! Laxus can go fuck himself! You're the strongest wizard I know Natsu!" said Lucy, with a wide grin.
Lyon looked at Gray who said,"I'm not saying a thing because well, you haven't met Laxus and I'm not sure who would win.". "Smart." said Lyon. "Really?" said Natsu with him raising his head. "Aye sir!" said Happy, flying into Natsu's chest. "Thanks you guys." said Natsu with him soon pulling Lucy and Erza into a quick hug. Both girl's faces reddened at the sudden contact with the dragon slayer and the mood was soon ruined with a camera clicking sound.
The six turned to see a shirtless Zane standing there and holding his phone. "And now, the blackmail trio is complete." said Zane. "What are you talking about?" said Happy. He flew over to Zane with him looking at the screen. "Whoa Zane! You got a picture of Lucy cuddling Natsu and Natsu hugging the knight! Why did you do that?" said Happy. The two in question blushed as Zane said,"Well, it's good to have blackmail just in case something happens. Learn that from Rae.".
The seven ,with Sly still being with Ur somewhere on the part of the island that wasn't destroyed by Zane's rampage, were relaxing outside of the temple. Lyon ,after seeing Zane take down the demon of his nightmares, was finally at piece. Zane could tell that Lyon was just a lost child and had his heart and head were in the wrong place but had good intentions in the end. He could tell that he could make people work with him.
They may have done this because of Deliora but none of them were that cruel. They believed in his power and he had to make sure their belief was worth it. He was a man who sought out to defeat a demon and get revenge for all of the lives that he had taken. It was a good goal in the end, Zane was also thankful that Erza hadn't exploded in anger being that Natsu helped her cool down being that he wasn't in the mood of dealing with a pissed off Erza.
Natsu soon had a massive grin on his face. Erza and Gray smiled thanks to Natsu's pure joy. "Oh hell freaking yeah! We won you guys! We totally completely an S-Class Job by ourselves!" said Natsu who jumped into the air. "Aye sir!" said Happy. "True Natsu but I was kinda worried for a second there but thanks to the perv, we won." said Lucy with an exhausted sigh. "To be honest, I have to thank Ur. She was a great woman Gray and Lyon." said Zane.
He told the two to keep quiet about Ur being alive until it was all over with Gray nodding. Natsu soon pulled Lucy in for another hug being that the blonde soon let out a surprised squeak when Natsu soon began spinning her around. "We did it Luce!" said Natsu. "So does this mean we can go to the second floor now?" said Lucy. Zane coughed with him leading their attention toward Erza's amused/serious look which got all of them but Lyon and Zane to pale and sweat.
Zane sighed as he said,"We still a job to do numbskulls. We're lucky that our dragon slayer kept our Prude Knight from trying to hurt me badly or in the worse case here, kill me. I think with the whole Deliora thing, they forgot about their true purpose here.". "For once, I agree with you. But can you blame them? All of you came to this island to help the villagers. The request was for you to return them to their original forms. You haven't truly completely the quest." said Erza.
Lucy soon looked confused as Natsu set her back down. "Didn't Zane kill Deliora though? The curse should have be lifted." said Lucy. "Sorry but that ain't the case. I've said from the very start that there is no curse." said Zane. "He's somewhat right. The curse didn't come from Deliora but what they think is a curse is something else. The villagers have been infected by intense magic energy released from the Moon Drip spell. In other words, killing Deliora did nothing to them." said Erza.
Lucy soon looked shock as she placed her hand over her mouth. "Oh no." said Lucy. "So did you figure out what's going on?" said Erza. "Yep. It's rather simple to be honest." said Zane. "Do you have a super cool power that can heal people from infections? We can go heal them within minutes thanks to you." said Natsu. "Like that one Take-Over with the needles for things." said Happy. "If that was the case, I would have done it earlier and we would have let Deliora go free." said Zane.
The two soon sulked as Gray shook his head. He soon had an idea as he looked over to Lyon. Despite him being healed by Zane before anyone could noticed it, the older student of Ur just rested nearby on a boulder. "Would you happen to know what Zane is talking about?" said Gray. "Honestly, I don't understand what goes on through his head. This curse you keep talking about is a mystery to me as well." said Lyon.
Zane sighed as Sivarth said,"Why can't you just tell them what's going on? This is so annoying. It is like watching one of those kids show that Uriel used to watch.". "You don't know?" said Natsu in a tone of disbelief. "Why not?" said Happy. Lucy put her hands on her hips as she said,"We know that the curse started three years ago when you and your friends showed up here.". "Just tell them what you know Lyon." said Zane.
Lyon sighed as he said,"Fine. When we first arrived here three years ago, we were well aware of a village somewhere on this island. However, we had no good reason to communicate with the villagers and they never bothered us.". "So in three years, you've never met once." said Erza with her raising an eyebrow. "He's telling the truth. It's one of the many benefits of being a mind-reader." said Zane with him crossing his arms.
Cole said,"I see it now!". "Seriously? I thought you knew this whole time!" said Athena. "Nope. You are the brains Athena and I'm the heart." said Cole. "Wait, how can that be? I mean the light from the Moon Drip is so bright you can see it practically anywhere on the island. It's weird that they never once investigated the temple." said Lucy. "That does sound fishy but it's the honest truth." said Lyon with Happy thinking about fish.
Gray said,"So what are you saying? Are the villagers lying to us?". "Perhaps. You should know this Gray but Moon Drip doesn't effect the human body." said Lyon, while gazing at the moon. "You can't be serious. You're just saying that so you and your lackey will be off the hook. Do you seriously think we're stupid?" said Natsu. "Sometimes, yes. I know Gray has his moments of stupidity but that's what makes us human." said Lyon.
Zane sighed as he said,"And this is why I webbed you to the wall when you recklessly chasing after Zalty.". Natsu looked confused as Zane said,"You're a simple-mind Natsu which isn't a bad thing but a good fighter should know how to use his brain and brawn to solve any problem. Lyon and his group have been basking closely in Moon Drip's light and none of them having changed. This includes Toby whose ears are a fashion statement not a side-effect.".
Lyon smiled as he said,"And I can see that you're the brains of this group. I'm sure that those villagers are hiding something but what do I care? You're guild wizards so figure it out. Your leader has when he first stepped on the island.". "I have." said Zane. "Seriously?! What is it?!" said Natsu. "I'll give you a hint. I've wanted to do this since Moka told what to do." said Zane, with Gray, Lucy, and Natsu soon thinking about it.
Erza smiled as she thought,"So he has known for that long and hasn't said anything? I wonder if he was trying to teach them how to use deductive reasoning.". She may very much hate a lot about Zane mainly him hiding secrets from his Nakama and his unique personality but she respected him in terms of intelligence. "I'm not done with you. You tried to destroy the village and....." said Natsu with him having Erza's hand over his mouth. "That's enough Natsu." said Erza.
Zane sighed as he said,"Natsu. Look at it from their perspective. Sherry, Toby, Yuka, and those cultists had their friends and family killed by Deliora. They wanted revenge on the one who hurt them so much. They all had good intentions because Lyon promised to kill it and he kinda did thanks to me. Don't criticize a person until you get the full story. All wars have two sides to them so before joining a side, do research on both and you'll find which side to join and believe in.".
Erza said,"And the past is the past. Lets go.". "What about the curse?" said Natsu. "I'll tell you once we get to the village. Hey Prude Knight, mind dragging....." said Zane. She soon grabbed Natsu by the back of his vest and dragged him back toward the village. Lucy sighed as she followed the two wizards. Lyon watched the three Fairy Tail wizards walk off with Happy flying with them. Gray and Zane stayed behind.
Lyon noticed that Gray was staring at him with sympathy. "What are you looking at? I may have forgiven you for what happened but I hate you for many reasons." said Lyon. "Don't change Lyon. I just wanted to tell you that you should join a guild. You'll find Nakama and rivals. You'll find a goal in no time. See you later Lyon." said Gray, with him rejoining his friends. Lyon soon had an shocked look on his face being that he was shocked to know that Gray still cared for him.
Zane said,"What he said. So here's where Ur is. Sly will tell Ur you're coming so don't make a fool out of yourself and expect hitting. She's a violent woman isn't she?.". Lyon slowly stood up as he said,"Thanks Zane. You're a good guy despite your unique personality.". "I get that a lot." said Zane with a smile. "Tell Gray not to care so much about me." said Lyon. He walked away as Zane soon smiled. "Such a freaking tsun. You're happy that he still cares about you." said Zane.
At the village's storage area, the group soon arrived there being that something was off. Nothing was missing or stolen being that the people who were living there thanks to the crater in town were not here. "Okay. So where is everyone then?" said Happy. "Are you sure that they came here Lucy?" said Natsu with him sniffing the area. "Yeah. The village was destroyed so where is everyone?" said Lucy with her looking around. "So is anyone here!?" said Happy, flying above them.
Gray went inside the tent as he said,"Since we're here, I'm going to grab some bandages and some medicine. You may healed me Zane but just to make sure.". "I totally understand. Oh, someone is coming with Sly." said Zane, leaning against a box. "How do you?" said Happy. Zane pointed to his ears as he said,"Happy. These ears can hear a fly flying around on the other side of the island aka the destroyed side.".
The group soon saw a male villager standing there with him panting as Sly soon floated right beside him. He has green reptilian skin, black shorts, and a tail. "You all finally came back! When we heard the explosion and saw the fires, we thought you were dead." said the villager. "We should really follow him you guys." said Sly. "To where exactly?" said Erza. "To the village of course Prude Knight." said the villager.
The group ,including Gray except for Sly and Zane, looked shocked when they heard that name. "Oh I guess you didn't know. Void Knight told our chief who told us to call you and the blonde by those special names when he arrive here ten minutes ago. Lets go." said the villager. Erza and Lucy glared at Zane with him saying,"Well before you say anything, lets go see the village.". The group soon followed the village to the villager with the girls glaring hard at Zane but he ignored it.
Upon arriving, the wizards ,except for Erza, were shocked to see that the village was back to normal being that the crater that resulted from the acid had been completely filled. Every building was back in place and the walls around the village perimeter had a series of fired were lit within. Zane was watching the villagers, clearly excited and perplexed on how their home was fixed. "I wonder if she'll fix all of her mess because her mommy is back. Whatever." thought Zane.
Lucy said with an awestruck look.,"Um. What the hell is going on here?". Happy flew beside her as he too was shocked. "Yesterday, it was a completely mess but now, it looks perfect." said Happy. "So what's going on here? Everything's back to the way it was." said Natsu, knocking his fists against a building wall. "Now that it's fixed. Maybe you shouldn't touch anything." said Lucy. "Are you saying that I destroy everything I touch?!" said Natsu. "Well, kinda." said Lucy.
Sly flew over to Zane as she whispered,"So do you think she did this?". "Yeah. I did save her mom from death's cold grip. I wonder how Lyon is doing with Ur as we speak." said Zane. "So what are you two talking about?" said Gray. "I'll tell you about it later." said Zane. "Oh. If everything is back to normal, our stuff could be back!" said Lucy. She soon ran toward the hut where they stayed the first nut as Zane sighed. "It's nothing important Triple B but who cares?" said Zane.
Zane walked around and he soon saw Lucy looking at Moka, who was kneeling by his son's grave as Lucy thought,"Bobo's grave is back to normal. That's a good thing.". Zane smiled as he walked off to make sure that Erza falls into Lucy's pitfall trap. He wanted to see her fall in there but he'll have to wait for the right moment. Lucy walked toward him as Bobo turned his head and he said,"Ah. Triple B. Are you the ones who returned the village back to normal?".
Lucy chuckled nervously as she said,"Well, not exactly.". She soon rubbed the back of her head as Moka pulled himself up with his staff. He soon turned to face her as he said,"We are eternally grateful but!!!". His look become more intense as he said,"When are you all going to destroy the moon?! Void Knight promised us this!". Lucy was shaking in fear under the glare of the chief as Zane walked up to them. "Follow me and I'll explain everything. The moon will be destroyed." said Zane.
Lucy and Happy said,"What?". "Seriously?! We're going to destroyed the moon?! I mean you're strong but..." said Gray. "He must be crazy." said Happy. "I'm going to ignore the comment Happy but before I accomplish that task, I need to ask all of you some questions. Could you call everyone to a meeting?" said Zane. "Um sir. It'll be about five minutes." said Moka. He was gone as Zane said to the three wizards,"All will be explained in time.".
Later after having all the villagers gathering in front of the main gate, Zane and the rest of the team stood in front of them. "So lets make sure that everyone is up to speed aka Prude Knight. All of you were "cursed" when the moon turns purple. I'm correct right?" said Zane. "Yes. We are fine during the day but when the moon comes out, we turn into what you see now." said Moka. "This happened three years ago correct?" said Zane, pacing from side-side with his hands behind his back.
A villager said,"Wow. It's been three years.". "Time really flies doesn't it?" said another villager. Zane soon stopped as he said,"We've learned that the Moon Drip ceremony has been performed on this island every night for the last three eyes, and every night it produced a beam of light so brilliant that you couldn't have possibly missed it.". Zane soon smiled as he said,"Erza.". Erza was shocked to hear him say her real name as she said,"Yes Zane?".
Zane pointed to a patch of ground as he said,"Mind standing right there for me?". She soon walked toward it as Sly sighed. When Erza reached the area, it was soon revealed to be one of Lucy's pitfall traps. "Kyah/Squeal!" screamed Erza, falling into the hole. "Wow. That pitfall is back! I thought it would have been super obvious but she fell for it!" said Happy. "She said "kyah"." said Natsu with a slight blush across his face. "That's so cute big sis." thought Natsu.
He had to restrain himself from hugging her. Gray looked at Zane who couldn't hold back his laughter as he said,"Seriously?". "Yeah. He is Gray." said Sly. Zane walked over to the hole as Lucy screamed hysterically,"It wasn't my fault! It wasn't my fault!". She chanted this over and over as Zane smiled at this. "Hey Prude Knight. How was your fall from grace?" said Zane. The scarlet-haired woman soon climbed out of the hole and dusted off her skirt.
She glared at Zane who said,"It was Triple B's genius idea so if you have anyone to blame, blame her not me.". She soon tried to slice him with her sword as Zane said while dodging her attack,"So have any of you once wondered about where that light was coming from? Oh Natsu, I need you to stop your girlfriend from killing me.". Natsu stopped Erza from killing Zane being that Moka said,"It's a tradition to not go near the ruins.". He seemed not to be convinced.
Zane said,"You're full of shit sideburns chief. Tell me and the rest of my group the truth or else, I'll get violent.". He cracked his knuckles as the villagers looked at each other and talked, being that they were slightly scared of angering Void Knight since they saw him fight off a giant demon earlier and can still move afterwards. "Well, we should have looked into it but according to village lore, we are forbidden to even go there." said Moka.
Lucy said,"But who cares about village lore? Your people were dying. You knew that there was a problem so you came to the magic guilds.". "I understand that keeping traditions is important. Just tell the truth Moka and your soul will be set free." said Zane. The chief took a deep breath and he said,"Let me explain. To be honest, we really don't know ourselves. We have tried to investigate the rules any number of times.".
Moka sighed as he said,'We've gathered a bunch of unfamiliar weapons that we've never had to use before. This included my own sideburns as one which I trimmed and stylized. We then head toward the temple and no matter what way we talk, we wound up back at the village gates.". "But that makes no sense." said Lucy. "We got into the temple without any problems." said Natsu. "We kept it silent because you wouldn't believe us." said a villager.
Another villager said,"Void Knight knows we're telling the truth. We've been there several times but we ended up back here!". "But not a single villager could get inside." said a third villager. "Thank you for your cooperation. You've been a wonderful audience. Case Closed. Moka, do you mind if I destroy the moon now?" said Zane. The rest of Team Natsu and the village was shocked being that Zane seem to be determined to destroy the moon. Erza and Sly knew the truth
Up in a distant tree, Ultear watched them with a small smirk. "He's quite the catch. I wonder if he's the only one of his kind." said Ultear. Zane soon glowed as he stood there in a new form which Sly knew as Comet Form. He looked to be 5 feet exactly with him looking to be an organic being but in all reality, he's a silicon based lifeform. His body is completely covered in metallic fur with it being a mountbatten pink color except for his chest which is a silver color. His chest also looks to be more metallic. His fur covers his entire body except for his elbows, knees, and shoulders.
Excluding his chest, this part of his body are instead covered by violet crystals. His snout is short and wide, looking rather cute. His ears are triangular ,with them being three inches taller, and the inside part of his ears is a violet crystal that's similar to the crystal covering his body. He has two large green eyes with him having medium length arms with five fingered paws, large hind legs and feet. On both his arms and legs, he has unique markings on them.
He has ring shaped markings on his arms and wing shaped markings on his legs. He has a long, thin tail ending with an orb at the end. He wears black armor over his chest with a gold star in the middle of it. He's also wearing the black robe. "That Take-Over is really cute and it reminds me of when I use my magic." thought Erza. "Natsu. Are you ready to help destroy the moon?" said Zane, smiling. "I don't know what's going on but sure!" said Natsu with a childish grin on his face.
After hearing this, the trio of Gray, Happy, and Lucy looked at them as they said in unison,"What?! You can't be serious!". Their jaws dropped, eyes growing wider than dinner plates, and stuttered incoherently plus the villagers were shocked. "So you did figure it out." said Erza. "Of course he did. Have more faith in him Erza." said Sly. "Um. Mind telling us what's going on." said Gray with him being extremely confused.
Zane nodded as he said,"It's simple and I promise this once I heard their plea. We are destroying the "moon" so these people can be back to "normal". I try my best not to go back on my word or my prmisesFollow me Natsu. Your fire is important to my plan.". His arms were crossed and he began floating over to the center of the village. While he was heading there, his body soon began to glow brightly.
In seconds, a giant catapult ,made out of rainbow colored energy, appeared as a villager said,"I really can't believe this guy! He is going to destroy the moon and we get to watch!". The villagers were soon cheering in excitement and they were in pure happiness. "And we get to be human again! This is the best day ever!" said another villager. "Wow. They really do think that they're human. Kinda sad to be honest." said Cole.
Natsu ran up to him as Zane was making a fireworks launcher nearby the catapult. "So how are you going to do it? And shouldn't we be at the temple? And what's this for?" said Natsu. "You need to calm down Natsu. We need to make sure that the villagers can see it and they can't exactly go to the temple. Do you mind being the one to light the fuse?" said Zane with a sigh. "Sure but what do you mean by that?" said Natsu. "Let me tell you the plan." said Zane.
As Zane was talking with Natsu about the plan, Erza, Gray, Happy, Lucy, and Sly stood nearby by with the only guy Gray looking at Zane like he was crazy, Lucy was shocked beyond belief, and Happy just look excited. "Huh. His plan is far different than what I was going to do and is that form a warrior? It looks too cute to be one." said Erza. "Yeah. Comet Form is perfect but he's only going to be used for stage 1 of the MDP." said Sly.
Happy looked at Sly as he said,"MDP? What does that mean? And can all of his Take Overs destroy the moon?". "They can and not just because they're powerful Zane's Forms are very much like suits of armor being that Zane is controlling them." said Sly. "So can you tell me what's going on through his head right now Sly?" said Lucy with her both curious and worry. "Have you ever thrown a ball at something? It's like that kinda of." said Sly.
Gray shook his head as he said,"Zane may be the strongest guy I've met but this is something else and we just watched him kill Deliora with ease.". "Zane is stubborn when it comes to things but most people find it charming in some way." said Sly. "This is exciting right Lucy?" said Happy. "More like terrifying." said Lucy with a deadpanned expression. Moka just looked at Zane with a neutral expression while his people cheered for him.
Zane smiled as he said,"Comet Form is one part of my moon destruction plan or MDP for short. Time to show you part two. Ready Natsu?". He floated into the bowl-shaped arm as Natsu stood nearby two levers. "Ready when you are! You're going to launch yourself at the moon and destroy it right? This is so cool!" said Natsu. "This isn't going to work." thought Gray, Happy, and Lucy. "It will work you non believers!" said Zane, glaring right at them.
The Cross Species smiled as he said,"Fire me on the count of three Natsu. Three, Two. One. Blast off!". "They really don't think they're going to pull this off, do they?" said Gray. "I think they've really went off the deep end this time." said Lucy. Natsu soon pulled the first lever as Zane was sent flying toward the moon like a rocket. "He's flying so fast!" said Happy. "This is going to end badly isn't it you guys?" said Gray. "What is he thinking?!" shrieked Lucy.
Zane's voice echoed,"Screw you Triple B!". Zane soared higher and higher into the sky as Twilight soon popping out of his back and looked down. His eyes had thin black stripes ,under his blue eyes, that matched the stripes on his arms and legs. He has pointy ears. His body is covered in a natural dark blue/indigo body armor that covered his chest, legs, and shoulders.
In seconds, a giant catapult ,made out of rainbow colored energy, appeared as a villager said,"I really can't believe this guy! He is going to destroy the moon and we get to watch!". The villagers were soon cheering in excitement and they were in pure happiness. "And we get to be human again! This is the best day ever!" said another villager. "Wow. They really do think that they're human. Kinda sad to be honest." said Cole.
Natsu ran up to him as Zane was making a fireworks launcher nearby the catapult. "So how are you going to do it? And shouldn't we be at the temple? And what's this for?" said Natsu. "You need to calm down Natsu. We need to make sure that the villagers can see it and they can't exactly go to the temple. Do you mind being the one to light the fuse?" said Zane with a sigh. "Sure but what do you mean by that?" said Natsu. "Let me tell you the plan." said Zane.
As Zane was talking with Natsu about the plan, Erza, Gray, Happy, Lucy, and Sly stood nearby by with the only guy Gray looking at Zane like he was crazy, Lucy was shocked beyond belief, and Happy just look excited. "Huh. His plan is far different than what I was going to do and is that form a warrior? It looks too cute to be one." said Erza. "Yeah. Comet Form is perfect but he's only going to be used for stage 1 of the MDP." said Sly.
Happy looked at Sly as he said,"MDP? What does that mean? And can all of his Take Overs destroy the moon?". "They can and not just because they're powerful Zane's Forms are very much like suits of armor being that Zane is controlling them." said Sly. "So can you tell me what's going on through his head right now Sly?" said Lucy with her both curious and worry. "Have you ever thrown a ball at something? It's like that kinda of." said Sly.
Gray shook his head as he said,"Zane may be the strongest guy I've met but this is something else and we just watched him kill Deliora with ease.". "Zane is stubborn when it comes to things but most people find it charming in some way." said Sly. "This is exciting right Lucy?" said Happy. "More like terrifying." said Lucy with a deadpanned expression. Moka just looked at Zane with a neutral expression while his people cheered for him.
Zane smiled as he said,"Comet Form is one part of my moon destruction plan or MDP for short. Time to show you part two. Ready Natsu?". He floated into the bowl-shaped arm as Natsu stood nearby two levers. "Ready when you are! You're going to launch yourself at the moon and destroy it right? This is so cool!" said Natsu. "This isn't going to work." thought Gray, Happy, and Lucy. "It will work you non believers!" said Zane, glaring right at them.
The Cross Species smiled as he said,"Fire me on the count of three Natsu. Three, Two. One. Blast off!". "They really don't think they're going to pull this off, do they?" said Gray. "I think they've really went off the deep end this time." said Lucy. Natsu soon pulled the first lever as Zane was sent flying toward the moon like a rocket. "He's flying so fast!" said Happy. "This is going to end badly isn't it you guys?" said Gray. "What is he thinking?!" shrieked Lucy.
Zane's voice echoed,"Screw you Triple B!". Zane soared higher and higher into the sky as Twilight soon popping out of his back and looked down. Zane's arms looked to be big jackhammers which looked completely natural to his biology. He had three fingers and his feet looked like organic mole feet with a robotic edge. His tail looked to be an natural armadillo tail. Everyone was shocked to see Zane transform into a new form being that Sly shook her head and smiled. "Zane has been known for doing some ridiculous stuff before but using Comet and Drill Form to destroy the moon? He hasn't change one bit." thought Sly.
She smiled as she thought,"I bet all of them are seeing how strong Zane really is.". Zane aimed his arms right toward the moon and he began spinning like a drill. The villagers soon began cheering loudly for Zane who soon reached his target. There was suddenly a massive explosion upon impact with smoke and light bits of fire covered the area around Zane for a brief moment. The moon began to crack away being that the villagers were cheering larger by the minute.
The wizards from Fairy Tail had another reaction. "NO WAY! He destroyed the moon!" screamed Gray and Lucy with the latter of the two having a priceless expression on her face. Her jaw had fallen to her knees as she looked up to the sky. Shortly thereafter cracks began to stretch forth from the freshly created opening aka the destroyed moon. All across the island, the sounds of shattering glass could be heard.
Zane smiled while using Gravity Drive to float down into the area. "And this is how you destroy the "moon" boys and girls." said Zane. It gave off the appearance of there being some kind of barrier around the island, "The moon is still there?!" yelled Moka and Natsu. The normal moon appear in its wake being the island was soon showered in magical particles. "It wasn't the moon that was shattered but the sky?" said Lucy.
She held out her hands, treating the magical particles like snow. "Okay. So what's going on?" said Natsu. "The island was surrounded by an noxious membrane that covered the whole island." said Erza with a smile. "A what?" said a confused looking Natsu. "Let me dumb this down for you. Think of it like an umbrella like Natsu. The gas formed a invisible shell that covered the island with all under the umbrella seeing the moon as purple rather than its normal color." said Sly.
Zane soon landed as he said,"And that's how its done.". "That was so cool Zane! I may not know what's going on but you were amazing! So what did you want me to do with the other lever?" said Natsu. "Pull it and fine out." said Zane. Natsu soon pulled it and the catapult turned into a single missile which flew into the air. Everyone watched as the missile flew into the air. It soon exploded when reaching the air and it turned into a message.
Happy said,"So what does it say?". "It says,"I told you I could destroy the moon Triple B! Told you so!" written by Zane." said Sly, looking at his partner who shrugged. Before Lucy could glare at Zane, the villagers were soon scared as brilliant light illuminated under them. "And since the barrier has been broken, the villagers will be heading back to the way things were three years ago. Well done Zane. I think I kinda understand you now." said Erza.
The light was soon gone as Zane said,"And here's the result!". The villagers were still demons as Gray said,"I'm not questioning you two but why are they still demons?". "Oh no." said Happy. "That's because this is their true forms." said Sly, resting on Zane's massive shoulders. "Gray. The Moon Drip effected their memories not their bodies. The idea of "Them becoming demons at night" was nothing more than an illusion." said Zane.
Lucy said with her being scared of their response,'What do you mean you guys?". "They thought that they were humans who were turned into demons thanks to the moon but it's more like the other way around Lucy." said Erza. "So you're saying..... They're really...." said Lucy. "Yep. This is the village of demons!" said Zane. Happy and Lucy screamed in shock with Gray and Natsu's jaws dropped to the ground. "Idiots." said Sly. "And here I thought you were the nice one between us." said Zane.
Lucy fell onto her knees with her screaming more and holding the sides of her head. Zane slapped her as he said,"Please be quiet for one minute.". "So are you guys really demons?" said Gray, getting in the face of a villager. "Well maybe. My memory is a little hazy but hey, we looked like pretty good humans when you met us huh?" said the villager. "Zane and I both know this but some demons have the ability to take human forms." said Erza.
Zane nodded as Erza said,"Your false memories led you to believe that from the very start, you were both human but in actually, you're a demon. This is the result of Moon Drip.". "So why didn't you turn back into a demon then Prude Knight?" said Zane. She soon punched him as she felt her hand be in pain thanks to him hitting Zane. "Ha. I love Drill Form's defense." said Zane, laughing at her pain. "So how come Lyon and the others weren't affected?" said Lucy.
Sly said,"They're human Lucy. Moon Drip seems to affect only demons. The reason why they couldn't go to the temple is a simple one. Temple have been known to have sacred properties and in our travels, most if not all demons have a genetic weakness toward anything scared.". Zane soon deactivated Drill Form with him hearing,"Wow. You're quite the detective. You promised me that you would free my village and you did.".
The group soon turned around as Lucy said,"It can't be.". Bobo stood there with Moka being shocked to see him alive. "It's a ghost!" screamed Happy and Lucy with them hugging each other tightly and shrieked girlishly, Gray and Natsu felt their jaws drop again from the sight of the demon. "You're the guy from the boat!" said Gray. "Wait a minute. I thought you..." said a villager who was pointing to the grave.
Bobo soon had a hearty laugh with him saying,"Demons can't die from simple stab wounds to the chest! We're much durable than humans!". "But on the boat, you just vanished." said Gray. All of a sudden, a pair of black bat-like wings folded out from behind Bob's shirt as he jumped into the air and hovered above them with him crossed. "I'm sorry about lying to you kids but Void Knight knew about me being a demon." said Bobo. "You knew?!" said Gray.
Zane touched the side of his head as he said,"Telepath. We read minds all the time and if we looked up, we would have saw him easily.". "I was the only one who didn't have memory loss because well, I got hit on the head with a coconut. I had to leave because everyone thought they were cursed humans so thank you again Void Knight!" laughed Bobo. Moka couldn't stop crying being that a pair of wings soon sprouted from his back. "Bobo, my son!" yelled Moka.
He soon soared into the air and wrapped his son in a tight hug, with tears rolling down the sides of his face. 'You're back to normal dad. I'm so happy!" said Bobo, hugging his dad back. The rest of the village soon flew into the air being that their memories were back. They cheered in celebration at the return of their friend/son Bobo. "Yep. They are demons alright." said Erza with the rest of the Fairy Tail wizards having a big smile on their face. Sly and Zane smirked.
Natsu soon walked over to them as he said,'To be honest with you Erza, they look more like angels to me.". "I guess you're right about that Natsu. You're a deep guy you know that?" said Zane, tussling Natsu's hair very much to his embarrassment. "We shall have a demon feast to celebrate!" yelled Moka as the villagers cheered in agreement. "I don't know if I'm ready to have a party with demons you know." said Lucy. "Coward!" coughed Zane causing Lucy to glare him.
Later, the village was throwing a celebration of their "curse" finally being lifted. Zane and the wizards of Fairy tail were the guest of honor for helping them. Erza, Happy, Lucy, and Sly were at the large table along with the other villagers. Natsu was to the side of them, devouring the fire from the torches being that it wasn't the strangest thing that the demon had seen today. Zane was currently sitting with Gray being that Zane was doing his checkup.
Sivarth said,"So why are you so worried about him? He seems fine to me.". "So Gray, do you think Lyon is going to join a guild after all this?" said Zane. "Maybe but who knows? I mean I get what he was trying to do but still, I'm just thankful I got him to see the error of his ways before it was too late. I owe you a lot for that Zane. " said Gray. "It's no problem. I was just doing my job. So Lyon was your first friend right? I mean you see Ur as a mother figure." said Zane.
Gray nodded as he said,"Yeah. He's my oldest friend. So was Danny your first friend?". "Yep. Me and him have been friends since we were I think eight and our friendship has lasted for a long time. We fought a lot but we always made things up plus I set him up with his true love so he owes me one if not a lot of favors." said Zane. Gray could tell that this Danny person meant a lot to Zane being that most of his friends have died according to him so a still living friend must be precious to him.
Gray said,"So I have to ask. If you knew about everything, why didn't you stop Lyon when we first met him last night? I mean you could have taken him on your own no sweat.". "I try not to interfere with personal fights. You won't learn or grow if I fight your battles for you. You had to knock some sense into Lyon and Ur is taking care of the rest." said Zane. "Okay. I'm so confused." said Gray as he tilted his head.
Zane said,"Well, it doesn't taking a telepath to tell that when you saw Lyon, I knew you two were connected. I mean you could have been lovers for all I know. You're like me Gray. Whenever you see a friend in trouble, you drop whatever you were doing and try to help them. I did that more times than I can count in my life.". "You got all of that from just a single encounter?" said Gray, acting both impressed and surprised.
Zane soon tapped his forehead as he said,"Having this powerful telepathy makes my job a hell of a lot easier. So what are we going to do about Ur? I don't want to explain to Natsu, Prude Knight, and Triple B about how I revived her. Really not in a mood to explain things twice.". "We'll figure it out later man. So did I do the right thing?" said Gray. "Wow. He's like you back when you were unsure about killing Skull Plague. Good times." said Kane.
Zane sighed as he said,"Lyon's heart and mind were in two different places being that leads to trouble most of the time. Trust me. He meant well but you needed to teach him a lesson which I did for you when you thought using Iced Shell would have stopped him or Deliora. You did the right thing and you won so enjoy the victory and don't think about the what-ifs.". "Yeah. At least, I didn't mess up like Natsu did." said Gray, with him chuckling.
Zane sighed as he said,"Natsu has a good heart. I mean he tamed the Prude Knight after all.". "Yeah but he won't make a move." said Gray. "I have a plan for that. Me and Mira have been working on something and well, I need your help in it since it involves manipulating Prude Knight. Are you in to help us?" said Zane. "Sure man. Erza won't find about my involvement right?" said Gray. "She won't because she'll blames me." said Zane.
With the girls and cat of the group. "Wow. I never expect Zane to get along with anyone." said Lucy, looking over at the two talking. "Yes. I'm not sure how Zane is so well-versed on this topic but its good to talk about it. I'm just thankful that Zane is being helpful to him." said Erza being that she is still mad at him and they were going to talk after the party. "So when does Zane not know what to do?" said Lucy in a joking tone.
Sly soon smiled as she said,"When he was first starting, he was a mess. He didn't want to be in this position but protecting his treasure made him a well-seasoned warrior plus he had allies and family who helped him along the way.". She soon noticed that Erza's hatred for him was shrinking being that Sly could tell that Erza thought that he was kind. Erza may hate his personality and his tendency to make fun of his family but she could tell that things would have been different if he wasn't around.
Erza could tell that he was both an amazing fighter and strategist, being that most members in her guild didn't have that just yet or ever. Gray and Natsu may be two of her closest friends with the latter being more than a friend. She could say that neither of them usually thought things being that Zane had figured how to solve this whole mess but Lucy and the others stopped him. Something did bother her about Zane being that he was still wet behind the ears when it comes to guild work.
However, he seems to know more than he's letting on. She didn't like that he was keeping secrets for them but he seems to trust Gray and Mira so it's a start. After this, Erza did consider him to be an S-Class Wizard of Fairy Tail being that he could also be one of the ten but who knows. Back with Gray and Zane. "So I have to ask. How many plans did you have for blowing up the moon?" said Gray. "I think a hundred but I didn't blow the moon exactly." said Zane.
Gray said,"Well it did to me. I mean Lucy was having a heart attack and well, we all had a good laugh looking at the shock on her face.". He didn't think that way at first but over time, he slowly got used to the idea. The two soon heard a female say,"Hello there boys.". The two soon a clique of demonic village girls standing there. Zane smiled as he said,"Hello there ladies. Now why are such lovely ladies like yourselves doing here?".
He was flirting being that he liked all women, regardless of the species due to him being a lot of species in one. "We're doing quite well. So are you feeling better Gray?" said a village girl. "So do I know you?" said Gray, looking up from his meal as Lulu stood there. "Oh right and look, you've got friends." said Gray. "Ready to be treated as an object Gray?" said Zane. "Huh?" What the hell are you talking about man?" said Gray.
A demon girl interrupted him with her gushing over them and blush on her cheeks, "Just so you know you two, every girl in our village has totally fallen for you guys! You're both so cool." said the demon girl. "She's right you know. We can't decide which one of you is more handsome one!" said another demon girl with Gray having a blush on him. Zane smiled as he said,"Yeah. I mean chicks dig scars after all.". "Didn't the girls back home hate yours like a lot?" said Cole. "Kinda." said Twilight.
A third demon girl said with her hoping that it wasn't the case,"I bet you think we're way cuter in our human forms don't you?". "I'll be honest with you girls. You ladies look fine just the way you are but who am I to judge?" said Gray. "What about you?" said the trio in unison, looking at Zane. "I care about what's on the inside so don't change for me." said Zane. The three girls squealed as the first demon girl said,"You're just the sweetest guys ever!".
Lulu blushed as she said,"I call the first dance with Gray!". "No fair!" said the first demon girl. "We should take Zane then!" said the second demon girl. "Erza, Happy, and Lucy watched this scene with them smiling. "I guess those two are pretty popular with the ladies." said Lucy, in a teasing tone and giggling at the end. "Gray'll scare them off sooner or later." said Happy. "I'm going to say that these girls are much nicer than Zane's fangirls back home. So what do you think about that Erza?" said Sly.
With the girl in question not responded, Sly soon noticed that she was soon gone and Sly was slightly impressed with her being unable to see her move. "Wow. She's fast." said Sly. "So what do you mean by that?" said Lucy. "Yeah." said Happy. "Well, I remember when...." said Sly. The Akostar soon told the duo a story about Zane being almost ripped apart by his fangirls and fanboys much to their shock being that the moral of the story is that humans can be psychotic.
The third demon girl said with a large smile plastered onto her face."Lets hit the dance floor and we'll teach you the demon wiggle-waggle!". I added this line because well, I just find it funny. "But that's not all we can teach you." said the first and second demon girl with them cooing and having a sly smirk on their face. Gray blushed at this being that Zane smiled. "Zane. Are you just used to girls talking advantage of you?" said Twilight.
Zane smiled as he said,"Yeah and you know that they've told me to enjoy life to its fullest.". "True so good nuts. Demon girls are the best at being really fun." said Kane. However, Crisis Judgement went off as Zane said,"Fuck me.". "Sorry ladies but I'm borrowing him. We need to have a talk." said Erza with her soon grabbing Zane's right arm. "Can we wait Erza? I was about to learn the demon wiggle-waggle!" said Zane, whining and him having a serious pout going on.
Lulu sighed as she pouted. "Huh. I may have wanted to dance with you first Gray but her and Zaney being together? Didn't see that coming." said Lulu. "Seriously? Those two hate each other because Zaney tends to piss her off." said Gray. "Seriously?!" said the four girls. "Yeah. So whose up for dancing? I promise that I won't be that bad." said Gray. The four girls soon dragged him to the makeshift dance floor as Gray prayed for Zane's safety.
The red haired knight soon took her seat by a table being that she "lightly placed" Zane that she had dragged away. She was dead silent being that she soon gathered a plate of food being that Zane was slightly annoyed. "So can we go back to dancing?" said Kane. Zane was going to wait a moment being that he wanted to make sure that the weapon-wielding woman would noticed him leaving her after she dragged him away.
It took her a solid minute before she said something. "Is something wrong?" said Erza, evenly. "So why the hell did you do that?" said Zane. Erza soon turned her cheek and directed her vision back toward the food in front of her, giving off the appearance that she wasn't going to give him an answer being that she forgot that Zane could read minds and people. "So are you going to say something or can I just leave?" said Zane.
Erza said,"I desire company to eat with and I've lost track of Lucy. We also need to talk.". "That can wait because I was about to dance." said Zane. He knew that it was important but only to her. Zane could tell that she was a serious person by nature being that it clashed with his laid-back nature. "First off, I've forgiven everyone but you." said Erza, with her tone possessed a slight edge. "Well, that is just the worst day ever." said Zane.
He knew perfectly well knowing that he pissed her off more than most of his enemies combined and that's saying a lot due to him pissing off a lot of people in his time. "I very much understand why both Lucy and Natsu went on this mission and Gray as well. I do wish why you ,out of all people, decided to break the one of the guild's most important rules." said Erza. Zane rolled his eyes at her tone and choice of words his guild mate used.
Zane knew that she wouldn't stop until she got him to answer him despite her getting an answer from Gray earlier. "Zane. She isn't going to stop until you tell her. You know this right?" said Athena. "She is stubborn like you Zane." said Sivarth. "And she'll just convince herself that she's doing the right thing because women always think they're right." said Kane. "And there comes the sexist Kane. I thought he died off years ago but nope." said Twilight.
Cole said,"So what is she thinking?". "She's thinking that she needs an excuse for taking me away from the girls and it isn't out of jealously maybe I think. She really wants to hear my motivation and well, she says that this is a plausible excuse." said Zane. Zane looked at her as Ezra with her glaring at him. "Wow. This is actually kinda of annoying. I guess I better tell her before she tries to kill me again." thought Zane.
Zane sighed as he said,"To be honest with you Prude Knight, money or status means nothing to me as a person. I cannot ignore innocent people in danger. It's my dam heroic blood. I may have hated the idea at first but over time, I grew to love it a lot. It's my goal to be strong enough to protect those who cannot protect themselves.. Everything worked out in the end so I guess I'm sorry for disobeying the oh so precious rules but in all reality, I'm not.".
Zane clenched his right fist ,which his right arm hadn't been in its disguised state since he revealed it to Gray, Lyon, Natsu, Toby, and Ultear in Chapter 15, as he said,"Rules are meant to be broken when peoples's lives are on the line. That's my creed.".Erza smiled at his words being that she looked less like she was going to kill him. She kinda expected him to insult her which he kinda did by saying Prude Knight and dis-guarded the rules but she could tell that he was an friend.
However, she wouldn't say that to him aloud but she constantly forgot that he is a telepath so he heard everything she was thinking. "If you do something like this again, try not and get Natsu involved. If you do, I expect you to take our match seriously." said Erza. Despite the soft look on her, she sound like an authority figure. She had a lot of practice in her usual 'do as I say or I'll will hurt you" tone of voice.
Zane smiled as he said,"Whatever you say Prude Knight. I'm going to dance with some demon girls and maybe get some action. Oh and by the way, I'll be making jokes during our fight because I love to joke around. I also won't let Natsu get too involved in my fights because well, he'll get himself killed following me just like they did.". Before she could ask him what he mean by that, he was gone and on the dance floor.
After recovering from Zane's statement, Erza had walked back over to Happy, Lucy, and Sly who was joined by Natsu. "Hey Erza! Did you finish talking with Zane?" said Natsu. "I did but Zane is...." said Erza. "He said something that made you wonder?" said Sly as Erza nodded. The five soon looked at Zane who was dancing like a pro. "How are you dancing like that man?!" said Gray who was dancing with Lulu. "One of my forms is a master dancer and I've picked it up!" said Zane while spinning.
Sly said,"Well, the both of us have been through a lot and heck, I'm not sure if Zane will ever recover from what he's been through. Ever since he has born, there have been challenges and Zane has faced them head on.". Moka ,who sat nearby them, said to change the mood,"I see. Void Knight and the rest of you have proved my belief about humans wrong.". "Huh?" said Lucy. "You've restored our faith in humans and we aren't scared anymore." said Moka.
Bobo said with a smile,"Fun fact, you know the curse? That was just a rumor we spread to keep humans away from our island.". "Well, it worked." said Lucy. "Yeah! The sailors were scared of you guys but you're actually pretty nice." said Natsu. "I know that but it's a shame. I've changed my minds after meeting you all. We're going to go out and befriend people." said Moka. 'That's good. Friendship is a beautiful thing. It's a bond that transcends one's physical appearance." said Erza.
Bobo chuckled in agreement with the others simple smiling, touched by Erza's words. Zane could hear them as he smiled. "She's totally right. I mean the six of us are like family and we're all different species." said Kane. "Yeah and well, Zane has made a lot of friends, both normal people and people like Ivan and Liv. The moral of life is to not judge others." said Cole. "Can we stop with this stuff? It's making me sick." said Sivarth.
Outside of the village, the trio of Sherry, Toby, and Yuka looked over the village. "Um. Are you really going down there? He's there and well, he kick so much ass." said Toby, looking over toward Yuka who was still injured after fighting Zane. "I have no choice. It wouldn't be right to leave things how we left them. Cold Emperor Lyon may have gone off somewhere but he'll return." said Yuka. "We have to do this. In the name of love." said Sherry.
The villagers continued their celebration being their party came to a crashing halt when the trio soon appeared there. Zane soon noticed them as he said,"Huh. I didn't expect to see them here.". "Don't lie." said Athena. "And this place's defenses is terrible if they could just sneak in." said Twilight. "Its the Cold Emperor's Henchmen!" said a villager. "And woman! Why do you guys forget that?" said Zane. Twilight slapped him for that comment.
The girls huddled around a shirtless Gray ,which was normal, and they were scared. "So what should we do?" said Lulu. "I'll handle them." said Gray, standing up. Erza and Zane followed suit as two of them gazed hard at the former three villains while Natsu was eating some fire. "So how it's going you three? Came for a rematch? I mean you guys lost pretty badly the first time but hey, there is always round two." said Zane, putting his hands behind his hand.
Yuka looked right at Zane with him smugly saying,"Void Knight. You are quite strong being hands down the strongest in your group of strong fairies.". "So are you including Triple B and the cat with us or what? Because if you are, I think I must have hit you hard on the head." said Zane with the group of Erza, Lucy, and Natsu glaring at him for calling Lucy weak which he does quite often and totally deserves it. Remember, this story will have some bias and trust me when I say that.
Yuka smiled as he said,"I guess so but I don't know myself. Sherry lost to her so she can be the judge on her strength better than I could. We came here because the Cold Emperor need some time to think after what happened.". "So we're here to pay you a visit in his place." said Sherry with a cold glare mainly toward Lucy. Toby's response was a simple bark. "Wait just a minute!" yelled Lucy, finally get up to her feet.
Lucy said,"I thought we were cool. Didn't Lyon tell you guys what happened?!". "He did but we have something called pride so that doesn't matter to us." said Yuka. "We want to settle things with you ourselves." said Sherry. "By the way, I'm still peeved about you making me paralyze myself!" said Toby, directing his gaze toward Natsu. "Wow. That's just wow." said Bobo, with the villagers nodding in unison.
Erza's brown eyes narrowed at the three. "They didn't come here for a fight." thought Erza. Natsu soon stepped forward, an eager grin plastered across his face. "Okay then! Show me what you got you freaks!" said Natsu with his fists fired up. "Yeah. We're ready for anything you guys can dish out and then some." said Gray, with ice gathering around him. "Gray and Natsu! Wait! We can't let you keep fighting all of our battles. We should take care of them." said Bobo.
A village behind Chief Moka and Bob cried out,"Yeah. We can handle those clowns.". "If we want to keep our village safe, we've got to protect it." said another village behind them. "Normally, I would agree with you gentlemen but I believe it's best if I handle this one." said Erza. "And now, I have to disagree with you Prude of Knights." said Zane. "Seriously? Do you always have to be the center of attention?" said Lucy. "Yes he does. He loves it just as much he loves being a hero." said Sly.
Erza looked at him as she said,"Okay Zane. How about we handle them together? You know why they're here don't you?". "I do but I want to play a game with you. It's a simple one. Rock, Paper, and Scissors. The winner gets to handle these three." said Zane. "Okay. That's fine." said Erza. "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean Zane is going to read her mind." said Happy. "Yeah. He has a major advantage." said Lucy. "Not exactly." said Sly.
Zane smiled as he said,"Okay then. You're thinking so much that I cannot possibly tell which one you're going to go with. Oh whatever shall I do?". "He's been over dramatic. Can you tell me why we're letting them decided this with rock, paper, and scissors?!" said Toby with his friends agreeing with him on the first part and everyone except for Erza and Sly agreeing with him on the second part of his statement.
Zane said,"I wonder what I should go with. Maybe rock or perhaps scissors or maybe I should go with PAPER?". Erza smiled as she thought,"Thanks for this Zane.". The two soon said,"Rock, Paper, Scissors!". She held out Scissors, thinking that he's going to go with Paper but in all reality, he went with rock. Erza was shocked as Zane said,"I guess I get to fight them. Sweet.". He walked toward the three with him stopping a fair distance away from them.
Happy whispered to Sly,"So did he read her mind or what?". "Nope. He used an old family trick he and his older brother Lucius played on Kurt, the middle brother all of the time. You think he would have figure it out by now but he hasn't." said Sly, shaking her head. "So we met again Void Knight of Fairy Tail. You've gave Angelica quite a beating earlier with that Take-Over of yours." said Sherry. "I could be wrong but I think she can talk to rats." said Cole. "That's a unique power." said Athena.
Yuka said,"You may have defeated me before but this time, I'm well prepared for any tricks.". Toby didn't say anything, with him only grinning. Zane just looked at them being that he looked blankly at them. "I'm sure you know this pervert but watch out for that creepy chick! She can control any nearby inanimate objects!" yelled Lucy. "And Mega-Brows can deflect any magic attack back at you but you knew that so go man!" said Natsu.
Gray said,"And I'm sure you can make dog-boy into paralyzing himself. I mean Dragon Breath did it so you easily can.". "Hey!" yelled Natsu and Toby. "Oh no. What ever should I do? Oh I got it." said Zane. He soon rushed at the trio being that he went toward Sherry first. "Rhino Charge!" said Zane with him soon kicking and punching Sherry, sending her flying into the air. He soon stretched his left arm back a bit and aimed toward Yuka. "Sweet Punch!" said Zane.
His left fist collided with Yuka's face, forcing him to the ground with a thud. He soon turned toward Toby, who was backing up with wide eyes and sweat forming around his brows. Before Toby could do anything, he heard,"Boo.". Toby turned around to see Zane behind him and hit him with a good old fashioned haymaker right into Toby's face and send him toward Sherry and Yuka. "So are you guys ready for a round three because man, I'm so itching to fight." said Zane.
With the three subdued, the villagers and Fairy Tail wizards looked in awe and shock from the quick spectacle. "Yep. His fighting skills have improved being that to him, they were nothing more than dust or ants." said Sly. "I wonder how his fighting skills stack up to mine." thought Erza. "Wow. He was wow." said Natsu. "So did he use magic or what?" said Lucy. "And that's the great and powerful Zane! Hold your applause!" said Happy. "Can it cat!" yelled Lucy.
The three slowly got back up to their feet. Much to their shock, Sherry smiled as she steadily got up from Zane's kick and punch combo. "You're truly an strong fighter." said Sherry. Yuka soon wiped a trickle of blood off his mouth. "No kidding. You beat the crap out of me before along with Deliora so where would I stand in your path of conquest?" said Yuka. When Toby arose for his punch, his eyes were still spinning. "Ain't that the truth sister?!" said a dizzy Toby.
Everyone ,except for the trio of Erza, Sly, and Zane, eyed the trio with confusion being that they weren't fighting back. "So you're not here to fight?" said Lucy. The three soon looked to the ground with shameful expression. "I doubt Void Knight beating the crap out of us will make things right after all the bad stuff we did. We just wanted to apologize in person." said Yuka. "So you guys wanted to settle things in a good way." said Happy. "And not fighting is a good way?" said Natsu.
Gray shook his head as Sherry said,"The Cold Emperor told us everything. Thanks to Zane and the rest of you, we can finally let go of the pain that Deliora caused us so many years ago.". "So were all of you victims of Deliora as well?" said Gray. "Yes. When we were children, the monster destroyed our village. We watched it murder all our friends and family in front of us." said Yuka. "Like I told you before, the Cold Emperor had a plan so that's why we followed him." said Toby.
Yuka said,"We wanted revenge so badly and because of that, we never noticed that we were hurting innocent people in the process.". "We were so blinded by our hatred that we didn't act any better than Deliora. From now on, we'll treat other people with respect and love." said Sherry. Toby barked as Zane smiled. "I think you've learned a lesson as well. The idea of revenge can blind anyone including myself." said Zane.
He soon pointed to his piercing and prosthetic right arm using his left arm. "I lost my arm and heart when I was sixteen. It was my fault for rushing at my enemy because I watched my friend be killed right in front of me and I couldn't do a dam thing to stop it. I soon rushed on despite the warning and concerns of the allies I've made. This culminated in me almost dying by an acid spewing bastard. It was thanks to my friends that I'm here today." said Zane, remembering what happened.
For like the seventh time, check out Zero Episode 50-80 because well, I like shamelessly plugging my own stuff. No wonder content creators on Youtube do this all the time. "Before I get off track like I do often, the moral of life is to not live in the past and let revenge take you over. The moral of life is to live in the future. I would say to forgive those who have hurt you but well don't. I have forgave the person who destroyed my arm and heart but hey, I'm a weirdo." said Zane.
Before anyone could say anything, Natsu decided to change the mood. "Alrighty then!" said Natsu with him sounding happy. He soon appeared behind the trio, laying a hand on Sherry's and Toby's shoulders. This brought them in closer until they squished Yuka in the middle. "I don't want to be in that threesome." said Zane. "You guys should stick around and join in the feast then?" said Natsu with a smile.
Yuka ,very much startled, said,"But we were enemies a minute ago.". "I don't know if it's such a good idea because I'm trying to watch my figure and...." said Sherry. She was soon stopped by Natsu who brought them closer together. "Enough with the excuses. Life is worth living you know?" said Natsu who soon dragged them around until they were sitting at a table. They held their drinks in fear as the demons just started at the trio. "Okay! Now it's time to party!" shouted Natsu.
And just like that, the party went back to normal. Zane leaned on nothing as he smiled. Twilight soon appeared from his right shoulder ,which had his scar noticeable, as she said,"So when are you going to talk to her and put on a shirt?". "Right now and tomorrow." said Zane. He soon flicked Enigma Talisman ,being that despite not wearing a shirt, he was still wearing his gear, and left to go find her while Kane keep up appearances.
Outside of the village nearby them and perched in the trees, Ultear watched the events go done in the village and next to her, there was a bluish-purple orb. It was acting as a visual transference device to a location that one might no expect and to a person that no one ,who isn't telepathic like Sly, Zane, or anyone who knows the magic, would suspect even less. "So did you happen to enjoy the show sir? I thought it was quite fun." said Ultear.
She also recorded the fight between Zane and Deliora being that a male, prick sounding voice said from the orb,"I did. It seems that our friend is much stronger than expected. So why did you return the village and island back to normal?". "Because I was feeling nice. So what did you think of Zane sir?" said Ultear with a shrug. She didn't tell him about Ur being that she still hasn't even told her REAL boss about her being brought back yet.
The voice on the other end sighed as he said,"Kindness will get you killed. Those Fairies could pose a threat to our plans if left unchecked. I'm more talking about the Void Knight. I think the fight should me a fraction of his true power. We will be having a chat about him once you get back. I will kill him because I, Siegrain shall....". The orb was soon destroyed by "accident" being that it was Ultear who did this. I wonder why.
Her expression was surprised being that she knew that the puppet was being threaten by an unknown player in the game. "He's a naive fool. I doubt he would have no idea what a force my Zane can be and I beat he bruised your pride." said Ultear. "Yeah. I tend to do that a lot because one of my best power is pushing people's buttons from short to long range. It's great. So how are things with you Ultear?" said a voice.
Ultear almost fell out of the tree she was sitting on and she said,"Where are you Zane?". She soon saw Zane being that he was in Ninja Form. "So how long have you been watching little old me be well me?" said Zane. "So what is your goal?" said Ultear. Zane tilted his head to the right as Ultear said,"Before I met you, I only had one person I cared about but you brought yourself and my mother into the mix.". "Oh. You mean Meredy? We should totally meet up." said Zane.
Zane smiled as he said,"So you really do get a lot from your mom by the way Ultear. She's still here until I take her back to the mainland. I've told Gray this and his talk with Ur should be about five minutes. She's going to stay with Lisa for a while and I'll make sure that Lisa doesn't talk about her being alive yet. I can't have people knowing I can bring back the dead.". Ultear was quiet as Zane sighed.
He smiled as he said,"I may not know him like you do but right now, he's blinded darkness. It sounds cheesy but it's the truth. I'll make him see the light. You or him can't win against me in a fight. I'm one of the huge threats to Earthland right now and by the way, that's a stupid name for a planet. It's like naming a city the City. I mean who does that. You'll be my double agent Ultear and your mom and I will be the only two who knows about her.".
Ultear was silent as Zane said,"Well, I better get back to the party and if you want to talk, just come find me. I've always got an ear open. Go talk to your mom! Admitting you having a problem is the first step to recovery and moving on.". He soon hopped away with Ultear just standing there, unsure on what to do. She was soon gone being that the time wizard has to think about what just happened and talk with Ur.
The next morning, Zane woke up feeling more annoyed than overjoyed that they were leaving the island and heading back to Magnolia to be "punished". He could tell that the next couple of days were going to be long and annoying. "Stupid Crisis Judgement." said Zane. He soon did a few stretches before he left the hut where he was staying. He had slept with a very nice demon girl and well, it was nice to release some pent-up stress if you know what I mean. Wink.
He could tell that it was the middle of the morning being that Zane didn't like sleeping this late but well, several little annoyance had tired him out. "Wow. That was some party last night. You may hate parties but that was a good one." said Cole. "So did you expect Sherry, Toby, and Yuka came to say sorry? It's good to see them move on from the past." said Athena. "Yeah but trust me, the good times are about to end and for reasons of bullshit." said Zane.
Zane soon walked around the village with Kane saying,"So are you going to wear a shirt in the near future? Please tell me that you're not turning into a stripper like Gray.". "Does it bother you so much?" said Zane. "Kinda." said Kane. "Fine. Twilight, do you mind?" said Zane. "And I have the perfect outfit in mind." said Twilight. Zane's body was soon covered in tendrils with him slowly heading toward his guild members.
By a hut, Natsu had flaming torches in both of his hands being he was consuming them like cotton candy. Happy was nearby him. Lucy was examining a faint but noticeable scar on Gray's forehead, being that it was covered by his long hair. Sly was floating nearby as the five soon heard,"Hey there gang. Enjoying the sweet island life?". Zane stood there with him wearing his beach outfit. This considered of a gray short sleeved Hawaiian inspired shirt.
This had a black, red, and white flower/short design. He's wearing black shorts that goes past his knees and his signature sneakers. He's also had a pair of sunglasses hanging off his short. He's also wearing all of his accessories (black and white signet ring, brown bag, Enigma Talisman, Galaxy Phones, silver earrings, wooden necklace, and Z.E.R.O. watch) except of his glasses. "So I'm going to guess that you are Zane." said Gray, also wearing a Hawaiian styled shirt.
Zane said,"I am because well, I've had a good night with a demon girl. She and I rock the casbah if you know what I mean.". Gray and Lucy blushed as Happy said,"So what does he mean by that you guys?". "We'll tell you when you're older." said Sly. "So where did eyebrows, rat girls, and dog man go?" said Zane, looking around the area. "Like typical party guests. They stuffed their faces and took off." said Happy. "Makes sense." said Zane.
Lucy ,who was wearing her first outfit revealed in Chapter 1, was looking directly at the cut of Gray's forehead being that she said,"Hmm. I think it's going to leave a scar.". "That's fine. It's doesn't matter to me." said Gray, shrugged nonchalantly. "On your face though?!" said Lucy. "I don't mind having a few scars as long as I can see them. It's the ones that you can't see that really hurt." said Gray with him smiling. "Yeah and chicks dig scars." said Zane.
Lucy smiled as she said with a wink,"Wow. You two are really smooth aren't you?". Natsu ,while in the middle of eating the flame on the torches, growled in response. Zane rolled his eyes as Sivarth said,"Quit being jealous. Kiss her and you should let your mate talk to other women.". "You know that he can't hear you right?" said Twilight. "So what the hell is an invisible scar? And they're just making your ugly ass even uglier." said Natsu.
Gray soon slapped him in the chest as he said,"Shut up Natsu. Why the hell do you have to ruin everything that I do cool?". "And how was that cool? You're the farthest thing from it." said Natsu with the two starting to banter. Lucy sighed as she said,"So why can't they be friends?". "Because boys will be boys." said Zane. "Aye." said Happy. "So where is Prude Knight?" said Zane. "With Moka and the villagers." said Lucy. "We should go join her." said Zane. 'Right." said the group.
Later in the afternoon, it was time for the group to head back to Magnolia. They were at the main gates, standing before Chief Moka, Bobo, and the villagers. Gray and Zane stood nearby Erza's luggage cart as Cole said,"So is she wasting her magic power on this stuff or what?". "Who knows Cole?" said Zane. The trio of Happy, Lucy, Natsu, and Sly were talking, leaving Gray and Zane alone as Erza was talking with Bobo and Moka.
Zane said,"So how was your talk with Ur go?". Gray looked away as he said,"Well, she was happy to see me and then punched me in the gut for almost killing myself twice. Why did you have tell her about me using Iced Shell?". "Because I could. So are you going to see her once we get some off time and survive this punishment?" said Zane. "Yeah and she said that she'll do anything you want to thank you." said Gray. "She and Ultear share so much in common being quite seductive." said Kane.
Zane said,"Really? I mean I'm quite the catch and have been single for so long. Tell her that I'll be having some alone time with her.". "Dude. Why are you telling me this?" said Gray. "Because I can Gray but don't worry. I'll go slow with her at first because I'm a fan of taking things slow at first and then going in fast. My date from last night knows what I mean." said Zane. Gray blushed as Zane soon smirked.
Moka said with him speechless and shocked,"What?! Are you sure that you can't take the reward but you deserve it miss. Please.". "Thank you but to us, your gratitude is payment enough." said Erza with a warm smile. "That is an extremely ludicrous reason. I know that we came here in order to save these people but all of that money could be helpful in the near future." said Sivarth. "We do have a substantial treasury back home but more money is better than no money." said Athena.
Twilight said,"I'm not a betting Vordlarin. We're going to interfere aren't we?". "Isn't that obvious Twilight?" said Athena, Cole, Kane, and Sivarth. "Why doesn't she take the money?" whined Lucy as the answer was obvious. "I really don't care." said Natsu. "Aye." said Happy. "I thought you didn't care about the reward Zane. You seem annoyed about Erza not taking the money. Is it the answer obvious and I'm just missing it?" said Gray, looking at his friend. "Yes it is." said Sly.
Zane was used to not get paid for being a hero being that saving a normal person usually doesn't have any benefits but making sure they live another day. He also fought a lot of villains with some fights being ones that he could never forget but doesn't regret. "That's nice and all but you really should take the money." said Bobo. "I can't because your request was never accepted by the guild. The people who took the job were a bunch of fools trying to prove themselves." said Erza.
Zane said while walking up to them,"And I'm a S-Class Wizard so technically, I should take the reward for doing a good job. I mean I did destroying the moon you asked.". He soon dodged Erza's punch as Moka said while laughing,"You both are right. We were saved thanks to you lot. How about I give you the money as not a reward as instead as a "Thank You" gift? It's the least we can do after everything you've done for our village.".
The group by the cart heard this and immediately turned to listen in. "When you put it like that, you make it hard to say no." said Erza, shaking her head. The trio of Gray, Happy, and Lucy soon smiled happily with the villagers looked pleased at her accepting the reward much to their shock. Natsu soon had his arms crossed over his chest with Sly nodding her head, knowing what's going to happen due to her knowing Zane. "7 millions Jewels!" said Gray, cheering in an excited tone.
Lucy squealed happily,"We're going to be rich Natsu!". "You guys do know that she won't accept that right?" said Natsu with Gray deflating. "I know Erza and she'll decline it. However, she'll accept the golden zodiac gate key." said Natsu, smiling at the blond. Lucy's eyes soon lit up when she heard that news. "I'm sorry but accepting your reward would be what our guild stands again. We'll happily accept that golden gate key." said Erza.
Gray shouted,"Why the fuck did we all do all of this for a dinky ass key?! I mean we went through so much shit!". Gray said this because of me. This is the main reason why I didn't want to do this beside Galuna Island being meh to me. I mean Sagittarius is fine and gets more screen time than Capricorn but going through all of that just for Lucy to get a power-up. It's bullshit. "Come to mama! And that key is way stronger than all of you combined!" yelled Lucy."Yeah right!" said Gray and Sly.
Zane sighed as he said,"Well Bobo, I guess I was right again.". The villagers, wizards, and Moka looked at Bobo who chuckled. "I guess so. I mean I was totally sure that she would have taken both rewards but I guess you read her mind." said Bobo. "Zane. What does he mean?" said Erza. "Like I how I totally owned you at rock paper scissors, I owned you again. If you would Bobo." said Zane as Bobo soon held a bag. "And here's the 7 million jewels." said Bobo.
Moka looked at his son as he said,"You bet the reward with a known psychic wizard?!". "I really thought they would have taken both of them! I mean the odds were 100 to one!" said Bobo. The rest of the group were shocked at this as Sly said,"Honestly, I've seen him do much worse. So how are we going to get back?". "Let me take you all back to Hargeon. I need to get away from my dad because well, I just bet away over a million jewels." said Bobo with him whispering the last part.
Erza glanced her toward the shoreline as she said,"Thank you sir but I have a boat waiting.". "You can't be serious." said Zane. All of them were soon at the shoreline of Galuna Island being that a loud horn from a nearby boat of all things went off. There was a pirate ship being that Gray said to Zane who was placing the money in his bag,"So did you read her mind to figure this out or what? She came here on a pirate ship.". "No. I saw it from the village.
Natsu said with wide and starry eyes,"Okay! That's awesome Erza!". Lucy then hugged herself as she yelled,"You're kidding me?! Did she steal it?". "I think the term she would use is borrowing it." said Sly, with Erza glaring at her. The crewmembers of the vessel were evidently waving in a friendly manner to Erza as the captain and his crew said,"Ahoy me Beauty!". "Ahoy me beauty? Wow. These people are idiots. I mean you're the farthest thing from it." said Zane.
Natsu and the pirates glared at him with Zane saying,"Wow. A glare. So original. If I had a nickel for when someone glared at me with one of my lovely comments, I would be a very rich man even more than I already am.". "They've grown quite fond of me." said Erza. 'That's the great Erza for you." said Happy. "Suck up!" coughed Zane. "Ahoy there! Come aboard me ship, mates!" shouted the captain with Gray saying,"Mates?". "I don't wanna! I'm not riding that creepy boat!" complained Lucy.
Sly said,"So do you complain about everything Lucy? I mean it's getting annoying.". "If you want to swim, I'll join you Luce!" said Natsu."That isn't going to happen! You're insane!" yelled Lucy. "Well then, I'll see you guys on the mainland." said Zane, stretching. "And how are you going to do that and are you scared of the pirates?" said Erza. "Nope. I like pirates but I'm more of a ninja guy plus the last group of pirates I met were a pain in my ass." said Zane.
Sly said,"Well, you did piss off their mother and one of their leaders.". "She had it coming being that that long legged bitch is the worst. I mean her brothers are so much cooler than her." said Zane. The two soon argued with everyone watched in both confusion about what the two were talking about and wondering if they should stop their argument. "So how will you get back Zane? And can I come with you?! " said Natsu. "Using Swift Form and no. I want you to suffer. Later!" said Zane.
He soon turned into Swift Form and started running on water. Everyone was shocked by this as Sly said,"You can't be shocked anymore. I mean he destroyed a demon that was supposed to be invincible and destroyed the moon. Lets go.". The Akostar and guild wizards soon got on board with the ship soon deployed its black sails, setting out for sea.. "Weigh anchor! We're shovin' off!" said the captain with the pirates following suit.
All of them were on the railing except for Natsu being that he was currently motion sick. The villagers waved goodbye to them with Bobo sticking out. "Everyone! Thank you so much! You guys should come back someday!" said Bobo. "Yeah! You betcha!" said Lucy. waving to them. "I hope we get to do the demon wiggle-waggle again Gray and tell this to Zane too!" said a girl. "Fairy Tail is the best!" said a village.
As the Fairy Tail wizards and Akostar sailed away, Lyon and his comrades sat on a nearby cliff with Toby crying his eyes out. "To be honest, they were not that bad." said Yuka, who clasped his hands behind his back. "I'm not crying! I've got something in my eyes!" said Toby, who had tears pouring from his eyes. "Oh really?" said Lyon. Sherry turned toward Lyon who was smiling despite the giant hand shaped mark on his cheek.
She didn't know where that came from being that it was from Ur being that Zane had taken a picture of this for blackmail against Lyon. He really likes having blackmail against people and Lyon didn't know the reason why for it. "So are you okay Cold Emperor? You've been quiet for a while now and I worry for you. You've never said good-bye to your friend and give him your love." said Sherry, with a heart appearing behind her.
Lyon smiled as he said,"It's fine. This is the right thing to do.". He watched the clouds move and he said,"You three were in a guild once? Was it nice?". Back at Era or more to be specific the chambers of Siegrain. Ultear was walking toward Siegrain's deck with a neutral expression on her face. You may ask why I'm not complaining about Siegrain having his own chambers but I can presume that all of them have a chamber I hope.
Back to the story, Ultear would normally be cheerful but given their conversation had the potential to go bad for her normally if she didn't have a back-up plan against the puppet. "It's a shame that Deliora couldn't work out. Why do you want to talk with me about Zane Alvarez?" said Ultear. "Wow. You're right to the point aren't you?" said Siegrain with a chuckle. "You seem to care more about him than you do about losing Deliora so color me curious." said Ultear.
She would have reacted to the pain that Zane delivered to her but she was healed by him. "So you aren't injured? I'm sure that Zane attacked you in order to stop Deliora." said Siegrain. "I'm fine but you have a reason for calling me here right?" said Ultear. "Yes. It's unfortunate. We had no idea about the demon being the prime target for our friend." said Siegrain. He soon closed a green book and used his magic to telekinetically lift it up and place it back on the enormous shelf of books.
This book shelf was at the end of his office. "It's a minor setback. I'll make sure that I'm more through if he's going to be involved with another demon of Zeref. Zane is be a rather big thorn in my side as of late being that he's mouthed off to every one in the council plus her." said Siegrain. Ultear soon rolled her eyes with her stepping forward toward him. "I'm sorry Siegrain. I didn't expect that wench's magic to be so powerful." said Ultear.
Siegrain said,"You really shouldn't speak about your mother that way. I don't think you want Ur to shed another tear. She was a magnificent wizard who was greatly admired. I respected her. If she was alive, she would be one of the ten wizard saints without question. That is saying a lot being six of the ten wizard saints compared to the four gods.". He said all of this while facing Ultear being that she somewhat rolled her eyes.
Ultear scoffed as she said,"You're giving her too much credit Siegrain. She was too focused on her magic while ignoring her husband in the process.". She knew the truth from Ur herself after Zane forced her using one of his many takeovers. Her father abandoned Ur after they "lost" their daughter and he blamed her for focusing on her magic too much. She later found that he died by the hands of a dark wizard and didn't really care for his death. This isn't canon by the way.
Siegrain said,"There is an old saying. They say that the greater the loss a person suffers, the stronger powers you gain to help you triumph over it. From what I can tell, Zane has been through many losses in his life, making him quite powerful.". "I highly doubt that I was nothing more than a speck in my mother's life and Siegrain, Zane is a powerful opponent and not to be taken lightly." said Ultear getting serious at the end.
Siegrain raised an eyebrow as he said,"Oh and what do you mean by that?". In the time that he has known Ultear, she has never cared about fighting. She was a powerful wizard and if Zane Alvarez left an expression on her, he was interested. "He's faster than light and much more than Jet. He can easily make heavy beings like Deliora his bitch. I'm sure that he is on our level or maybe even higher." said Ultear.
She was somewhat lying to the puppet being that Zane was MUCH stronger than Siegrain but she didn't know if she could handle her real allegiance. "Interesting. Just like how Ur took in those two students in order to fill the void in her after you and her husband left her." said Siegrain with Ultear shutting him up using a finger over his mouth. "That subject is closed understood? It's time for us to move onto the next stage of our plan? And what about him?" said Ultear.
Siegrain smiled as he said,"For now Ultear, nothing. Zane is nothing more than a piece in my game and I wish to see what else he has store in us. Natsu will keep burning brightly.". "Speaking of Zane, he seems to be having a different agenda that what he has been telling his guildmates." said Ultear. "I wonder what his true agenda in all of this." said Siegrain. Ultear smiled. So lets go back to Galuna Island for one more thing.
Back on Galuna Island, a young man was standing there. This is Zeref. He had short black hair whose bangs covered his red eyes. He also had notably sharp canines. He was wearing a pendant around his neck with him opening it. A soft tune played from it with him having a smile on his face. He wears a high-collared black and tan robes with a gold trim, along with a large, flowing white toga draped around his torso.
This is how Zeref normally is but to spoil a bit of the story, Zeref will have more of a presence being more name drops. In the same vein as Zane changing the story, Zeref's appearance changes to make him look slightly more edgier. Zeref was now wearing a black skull themed armlet around his right bicep and a skull themed choker around his neck. The area was dead, ranging from the animals to the plants.
He had taken a vacation from his home on Tenrou Island being that he was hiding from everyone until she found him. He was enjoying his time there being that in time, he sensed something. It was an extremely strong power that shocked him. It was very much something that he had not felt in his lifetime. He soon found out the source of the power was a member of the same guild as Natsu with his name being Zane.
He hadn't come in contact with neither Natsu and Zane. From a safe distance, he watched him take down Lullaby being that he made Lullaby his bitch. He came to this island in order to make Deliora stronger but he was soon shocked to see that even with the power boost, Ur and Zane made Deliora weaker than even Lullaby. It was kinda depressing to see all of his hard work go the way of the dodo and it was quite sad.
He wondered if anyone could defeat him as he is now being that he wanted to die by Natsu's hand. He was sure that he could take both of them even if Zane was serious he thought. I mean he could if he had the power of friendship but he doesn't. I'm still waiting for a villain ,who uses the power of friendship, against a hero who uses the power of friendship. No matter what, he just wanted to die so he would do it. He left the island by a portal of pure magic.

Who is that person who came in contact with Zeref? Is there a war coming up between two guilds for a very strange yet pointless reason or something else? Will we meet Lisa and Ur again? Will Ur have an impact on the story? She mostly will not but who really knows? Will we even finish the backlog of stuff to talk about in the Author Note? That won't happen because I'll keep adding stuff. Will Zane stop being overpowered and stealing the fight from others mainly Erza? Lets be honest here. It's totally going to happen but way later. My bias for Zane over other characters will never stop that's for sure. This and more next time on Fairy Legion!
Classic Cards/Forms that were introduced in Zero:
Comet Form. This card has a black frame with a creature flying through outer space very much like a comet. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 93 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. This form was actually the second form created by Parker.
Drill Form. This card has a black frame with a giant drill in the center of the card. This form was introduced in Zero Episode 44 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. Zane's body produces a drilling sound with him smiling. He can turn his hands, feet, and body into drills. This form later gets a change/upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. It's very similar to Brain and Frost Form being that instead of going through a metamorphosis, both Drill Form and its Prime Form progress into the future or matures according to Parker. It's seen in person around the time of Fairy Legion Chapter 33 and it's Prime Form was seen in person around the time of Zero Episode 129.
Zane smiled while using Gravity Drive to float down into the area. "And this is how you destroy the "moon" boys and girls." said Zane. It gave off the appearance of there being some kind of barrier around the island, "The moon is still there?!" yelled Moka and Natsu. The normal moon appear in its wake being the island was soon showered in magical particles. "It wasn't the moon that was shattered but the sky?" said Lucy.
She held out her hands, treating the magical particles like snow. "Okay. So what's going on?" said Natsu. "The island was surrounded by an noxious membrane that covered the whole island." said Erza with a smile. "A what?" said a confused looking Natsu. "Let me dumb this down for you. Think of it like an umbrella like Natsu. The gas formed a invisible shell that covered the island with all under the umbrella seeing the moon as purple rather than its normal color." said Sly.
Zane soon landed as he said,"And that's how its done.". "That was so cool Zane! I may not know what's going on but you were amazing! So what did you want me to do with the other lever?" said Natsu. "Pull it and fine out." said Zane. Natsu soon pulled it and the catapult turned into a single missile which flew into the air. Everyone watched as the missile flew into the air. It soon exploded when reaching the air and it turned into a message.
Happy said,"So what does it say?". "It says,"I told you I could destroy the moon Triple B! Told you so!" written by Zane." said Sly, looking at his partner who shrugged. Before Lucy could glare at Zane, the villagers were soon scared as brilliant light illuminated under them. "And since the barrier has been broken, the villagers will be heading back to the way things were three years ago. Well done Zane. I think I kinda understand you now." said Erza.
The light was soon gone as Zane said,"And here's the result!". The villagers were still demons as Gray said,"I'm not questioning you two but why are they still demons?". "Oh no." said Happy. "That's because this is their true forms." said Sly, resting on Zane's massive shoulders. "Gray. The Moon Drip effected their memories not their bodies. The idea of "Them becoming demons at night" was nothing more than an illusion." said Zane.
Lucy said with her being scared of their response,'What do you mean you guys?". "They thought that they were humans who were turned into demons thanks to the moon but it's more like the other way around Lucy." said Erza. "So you're saying..... They're really...." said Lucy. "Yep. This is the village of demons!" said Zane. Happy and Lucy screamed in shock with Gray and Natsu's jaws dropped to the ground. "Idiots." said Sly. "And here I thought you were the nice one between us." said Zane.
Lucy fell onto her knees with her screaming more and holding the sides of her head. Zane slapped her as he said,"Please be quiet for one minute.". "So are you guys really demons?" said Gray, getting in the face of a villager. "Well maybe. My memory is a little hazy but hey, we looked like pretty good humans when you met us huh?" said the villager. "Zane and I both know this but some demons have the ability to take human forms." said Erza.
Zane nodded as Erza said,"Your false memories led you to believe that from the very start, you were both human but in actually, you're a demon. This is the result of Moon Drip.". "So why didn't you turn back into a demon then Prude Knight?" said Zane. She soon punched him as she felt her hand be in pain thanks to him hitting Zane. "Ha. I love Drill Form's defense." said Zane, laughing at her pain. "So how come Lyon and the others weren't affected?" said Lucy.
Sly said,"They're human Lucy. Moon Drip seems to affect only demons. The reason why they couldn't go to the temple is a simple one. Temple have been known to have sacred properties and in our travels, most if not all demons have a genetic weakness toward anything scared.". Zane soon deactivated Drill Form with him hearing,"Wow. You're quite the detective. You promised me that you would free my village and you did.".
The group soon turned around as Lucy said,"It can't be.". Bobo stood there with Moka being shocked to see him alive. "It's a ghost!" screamed Happy and Lucy with them hugging each other tightly and shrieked girlishly, Gray and Natsu felt their jaws drop again from the sight of the demon. "You're the guy from the boat!" said Gray. "Wait a minute. I thought you..." said a villager who was pointing to the grave.
Bobo soon had a hearty laugh with him saying,"Demons can't die from simple stab wounds to the chest! We're much durable than humans!". "But on the boat, you just vanished." said Gray. All of a sudden, a pair of black bat-like wings folded out from behind Bob's shirt as he jumped into the air and hovered above them with him crossed. "I'm sorry about lying to you kids but Void Knight knew about me being a demon." said Bobo. "You knew?!" said Gray.
Zane touched the side of his head as he said,"Telepath. We read minds all the time and if we looked up, we would have saw him easily.". "I was the only one who didn't have memory loss because well, I got hit on the head with a coconut. I had to leave because everyone thought they were cursed humans so thank you again Void Knight!" laughed Bobo. Moka couldn't stop crying being that a pair of wings soon sprouted from his back. "Bobo, my son!" yelled Moka.
He soon soared into the air and wrapped his son in a tight hug, with tears rolling down the sides of his face. 'You're back to normal dad. I'm so happy!" said Bobo, hugging his dad back. The rest of the village soon flew into the air being that their memories were back. They cheered in celebration at the return of their friend/son Bobo. "Yep. They are demons alright." said Erza with the rest of the Fairy Tail wizards having a big smile on their face. Sly and Zane smirked.
Natsu soon walked over to them as he said,'To be honest with you Erza, they look more like angels to me.". "I guess you're right about that Natsu. You're a deep guy you know that?" said Zane, tussling Natsu's hair very much to his embarrassment. "We shall have a demon feast to celebrate!" yelled Moka as the villagers cheered in agreement. "I don't know if I'm ready to have a party with demons you know." said Lucy. "Coward!" coughed Zane causing Lucy to glare him.
Later, the village was throwing a celebration of their "curse" finally being lifted. Zane and the wizards of Fairy tail were the guest of honor for helping them. Erza, Happy, Lucy, and Sly were at the large table along with the other villagers. Natsu was to the side of them, devouring the fire from the torches being that it wasn't the strangest thing that the demon had seen today. Zane was currently sitting with Gray being that Zane was doing his checkup.
Sivarth said,"So why are you so worried about him? He seems fine to me.". "So Gray, do you think Lyon is going to join a guild after all this?" said Zane. "Maybe but who knows? I mean I get what he was trying to do but still, I'm just thankful I got him to see the error of his ways before it was too late. I owe you a lot for that Zane. " said Gray. "It's no problem. I was just doing my job. So Lyon was your first friend right? I mean you see Ur as a mother figure." said Zane.
Gray nodded as he said,"Yeah. He's my oldest friend. So was Danny your first friend?". "Yep. Me and him have been friends since we were I think eight and our friendship has lasted for a long time. We fought a lot but we always made things up plus I set him up with his true love so he owes me one if not a lot of favors." said Zane. Gray could tell that this Danny person meant a lot to Zane being that most of his friends have died according to him so a still living friend must be precious to him.
Gray said,"So I have to ask. If you knew about everything, why didn't you stop Lyon when we first met him last night? I mean you could have taken him on your own no sweat.". "I try not to interfere with personal fights. You won't learn or grow if I fight your battles for you. You had to knock some sense into Lyon and Ur is taking care of the rest." said Zane. "Okay. I'm so confused." said Gray as he tilted his head.
Zane said,"Well, it doesn't taking a telepath to tell that when you saw Lyon, I knew you two were connected. I mean you could have been lovers for all I know. You're like me Gray. Whenever you see a friend in trouble, you drop whatever you were doing and try to help them. I did that more times than I can count in my life.". "You got all of that from just a single encounter?" said Gray, acting both impressed and surprised.
Zane soon tapped his forehead as he said,"Having this powerful telepathy makes my job a hell of a lot easier. So what are we going to do about Ur? I don't want to explain to Natsu, Prude Knight, and Triple B about how I revived her. Really not in a mood to explain things twice.". "We'll figure it out later man. So did I do the right thing?" said Gray. "Wow. He's like you back when you were unsure about killing Skull Plague. Good times." said Kane.
Zane sighed as he said,"Lyon's heart and mind were in two different places being that leads to trouble most of the time. Trust me. He meant well but you needed to teach him a lesson which I did for you when you thought using Iced Shell would have stopped him or Deliora. You did the right thing and you won so enjoy the victory and don't think about the what-ifs.". "Yeah. At least, I didn't mess up like Natsu did." said Gray, with him chuckling.
Zane sighed as he said,"Natsu has a good heart. I mean he tamed the Prude Knight after all.". "Yeah but he won't make a move." said Gray. "I have a plan for that. Me and Mira have been working on something and well, I need your help in it since it involves manipulating Prude Knight. Are you in to help us?" said Zane. "Sure man. Erza won't find about my involvement right?" said Gray. "She won't because she'll blames me." said Zane.
With the girls and cat of the group. "Wow. I never expect Zane to get along with anyone." said Lucy, looking over at the two talking. "Yes. I'm not sure how Zane is so well-versed on this topic but its good to talk about it. I'm just thankful that Zane is being helpful to him." said Erza being that she is still mad at him and they were going to talk after the party. "So when does Zane not know what to do?" said Lucy in a joking tone.
Sly soon smiled as she said,"When he was first starting, he was a mess. He didn't want to be in this position but protecting his treasure made him a well-seasoned warrior plus he had allies and family who helped him along the way.". She soon noticed that Erza's hatred for him was shrinking being that Sly could tell that Erza thought that he was kind. Erza may hate his personality and his tendency to make fun of his family but she could tell that things would have been different if he wasn't around.
Erza could tell that he was both an amazing fighter and strategist, being that most members in her guild didn't have that just yet or ever. Gray and Natsu may be two of her closest friends with the latter being more than a friend. She could say that neither of them usually thought things being that Zane had figured how to solve this whole mess but Lucy and the others stopped him. Something did bother her about Zane being that he was still wet behind the ears when it comes to guild work.
However, he seems to know more than he's letting on. She didn't like that he was keeping secrets for them but he seems to trust Gray and Mira so it's a start. After this, Erza did consider him to be an S-Class Wizard of Fairy Tail being that he could also be one of the ten but who knows. Back with Gray and Zane. "So I have to ask. How many plans did you have for blowing up the moon?" said Gray. "I think a hundred but I didn't blow the moon exactly." said Zane.
Gray said,"Well it did to me. I mean Lucy was having a heart attack and well, we all had a good laugh looking at the shock on her face.". He didn't think that way at first but over time, he slowly got used to the idea. The two soon heard a female say,"Hello there boys.". The two soon a clique of demonic village girls standing there. Zane smiled as he said,"Hello there ladies. Now why are such lovely ladies like yourselves doing here?".
He was flirting being that he liked all women, regardless of the species due to him being a lot of species in one. "We're doing quite well. So are you feeling better Gray?" said a village girl. "So do I know you?" said Gray, looking up from his meal as Lulu stood there. "Oh right and look, you've got friends." said Gray. "Ready to be treated as an object Gray?" said Zane. "Huh?" What the hell are you talking about man?" said Gray.
A demon girl interrupted him with her gushing over them and blush on her cheeks, "Just so you know you two, every girl in our village has totally fallen for you guys! You're both so cool." said the demon girl. "She's right you know. We can't decide which one of you is more handsome one!" said another demon girl with Gray having a blush on him. Zane smiled as he said,"Yeah. I mean chicks dig scars after all.". "Didn't the girls back home hate yours like a lot?" said Cole. "Kinda." said Twilight.
A third demon girl said with her hoping that it wasn't the case,"I bet you think we're way cuter in our human forms don't you?". "I'll be honest with you girls. You ladies look fine just the way you are but who am I to judge?" said Gray. "What about you?" said the trio in unison, looking at Zane. "I care about what's on the inside so don't change for me." said Zane. The three girls squealed as the first demon girl said,"You're just the sweetest guys ever!".
Lulu blushed as she said,"I call the first dance with Gray!". "No fair!" said the first demon girl. "We should take Zane then!" said the second demon girl. "Erza, Happy, and Lucy watched this scene with them smiling. "I guess those two are pretty popular with the ladies." said Lucy, in a teasing tone and giggling at the end. "Gray'll scare them off sooner or later." said Happy. "I'm going to say that these girls are much nicer than Zane's fangirls back home. So what do you think about that Erza?" said Sly.
With the girl in question not responded, Sly soon noticed that she was soon gone and Sly was slightly impressed with her being unable to see her move. "Wow. She's fast." said Sly. "So what do you mean by that?" said Lucy. "Yeah." said Happy. "Well, I remember when...." said Sly. The Akostar soon told the duo a story about Zane being almost ripped apart by his fangirls and fanboys much to their shock being that the moral of the story is that humans can be psychotic.
The third demon girl said with a large smile plastered onto her face."Lets hit the dance floor and we'll teach you the demon wiggle-waggle!". I added this line because well, I just find it funny. "But that's not all we can teach you." said the first and second demon girl with them cooing and having a sly smirk on their face. Gray blushed at this being that Zane smiled. "Zane. Are you just used to girls talking advantage of you?" said Twilight.
Zane smiled as he said,"Yeah and you know that they've told me to enjoy life to its fullest.". "True so good nuts. Demon girls are the best at being really fun." said Kane. However, Crisis Judgement went off as Zane said,"Fuck me.". "Sorry ladies but I'm borrowing him. We need to have a talk." said Erza with her soon grabbing Zane's right arm. "Can we wait Erza? I was about to learn the demon wiggle-waggle!" said Zane, whining and him having a serious pout going on.
Lulu sighed as she pouted. "Huh. I may have wanted to dance with you first Gray but her and Zaney being together? Didn't see that coming." said Lulu. "Seriously? Those two hate each other because Zaney tends to piss her off." said Gray. "Seriously?!" said the four girls. "Yeah. So whose up for dancing? I promise that I won't be that bad." said Gray. The four girls soon dragged him to the makeshift dance floor as Gray prayed for Zane's safety.
The red haired knight soon took her seat by a table being that she "lightly placed" Zane that she had dragged away. She was dead silent being that she soon gathered a plate of food being that Zane was slightly annoyed. "So can we go back to dancing?" said Kane. Zane was going to wait a moment being that he wanted to make sure that the weapon-wielding woman would noticed him leaving her after she dragged him away.
It took her a solid minute before she said something. "Is something wrong?" said Erza, evenly. "So why the hell did you do that?" said Zane. Erza soon turned her cheek and directed her vision back toward the food in front of her, giving off the appearance that she wasn't going to give him an answer being that she forgot that Zane could read minds and people. "So are you going to say something or can I just leave?" said Zane.
Erza said,"I desire company to eat with and I've lost track of Lucy. We also need to talk.". "That can wait because I was about to dance." said Zane. He knew that it was important but only to her. Zane could tell that she was a serious person by nature being that it clashed with his laid-back nature. "First off, I've forgiven everyone but you." said Erza, with her tone possessed a slight edge. "Well, that is just the worst day ever." said Zane.
He knew perfectly well knowing that he pissed her off more than most of his enemies combined and that's saying a lot due to him pissing off a lot of people in his time. "I very much understand why both Lucy and Natsu went on this mission and Gray as well. I do wish why you ,out of all people, decided to break the one of the guild's most important rules." said Erza. Zane rolled his eyes at her tone and choice of words his guild mate used.
Zane knew that she wouldn't stop until she got him to answer him despite her getting an answer from Gray earlier. "Zane. She isn't going to stop until you tell her. You know this right?" said Athena. "She is stubborn like you Zane." said Sivarth. "And she'll just convince herself that she's doing the right thing because women always think they're right." said Kane. "And there comes the sexist Kane. I thought he died off years ago but nope." said Twilight.
Cole said,"So what is she thinking?". "She's thinking that she needs an excuse for taking me away from the girls and it isn't out of jealously maybe I think. She really wants to hear my motivation and well, she says that this is a plausible excuse." said Zane. Zane looked at her as Ezra with her glaring at him. "Wow. This is actually kinda of annoying. I guess I better tell her before she tries to kill me again." thought Zane.
Zane sighed as he said,"To be honest with you Prude Knight, money or status means nothing to me as a person. I cannot ignore innocent people in danger. It's my dam heroic blood. I may have hated the idea at first but over time, I grew to love it a lot. It's my goal to be strong enough to protect those who cannot protect themselves.. Everything worked out in the end so I guess I'm sorry for disobeying the oh so precious rules but in all reality, I'm not.".
Zane clenched his right fist ,which his right arm hadn't been in its disguised state since he revealed it to Gray, Lyon, Natsu, Toby, and Ultear in Chapter 15, as he said,"Rules are meant to be broken when peoples's lives are on the line. That's my creed.".Erza smiled at his words being that she looked less like she was going to kill him. She kinda expected him to insult her which he kinda did by saying Prude Knight and dis-guarded the rules but she could tell that he was an friend.
However, she wouldn't say that to him aloud but she constantly forgot that he is a telepath so he heard everything she was thinking. "If you do something like this again, try not and get Natsu involved. If you do, I expect you to take our match seriously." said Erza. Despite the soft look on her, she sound like an authority figure. She had a lot of practice in her usual 'do as I say or I'll will hurt you" tone of voice.
Zane smiled as he said,"Whatever you say Prude Knight. I'm going to dance with some demon girls and maybe get some action. Oh and by the way, I'll be making jokes during our fight because I love to joke around. I also won't let Natsu get too involved in my fights because well, he'll get himself killed following me just like they did.". Before she could ask him what he mean by that, he was gone and on the dance floor.
After recovering from Zane's statement, Erza had walked back over to Happy, Lucy, and Sly who was joined by Natsu. "Hey Erza! Did you finish talking with Zane?" said Natsu. "I did but Zane is...." said Erza. "He said something that made you wonder?" said Sly as Erza nodded. The five soon looked at Zane who was dancing like a pro. "How are you dancing like that man?!" said Gray who was dancing with Lulu. "One of my forms is a master dancer and I've picked it up!" said Zane while spinning.
Sly said,"Well, the both of us have been through a lot and heck, I'm not sure if Zane will ever recover from what he's been through. Ever since he has born, there have been challenges and Zane has faced them head on.". Moka ,who sat nearby them, said to change the mood,"I see. Void Knight and the rest of you have proved my belief about humans wrong.". "Huh?" said Lucy. "You've restored our faith in humans and we aren't scared anymore." said Moka.
Bobo said with a smile,"Fun fact, you know the curse? That was just a rumor we spread to keep humans away from our island.". "Well, it worked." said Lucy. "Yeah! The sailors were scared of you guys but you're actually pretty nice." said Natsu. "I know that but it's a shame. I've changed my minds after meeting you all. We're going to go out and befriend people." said Moka. 'That's good. Friendship is a beautiful thing. It's a bond that transcends one's physical appearance." said Erza.
Bobo chuckled in agreement with the others simple smiling, touched by Erza's words. Zane could hear them as he smiled. "She's totally right. I mean the six of us are like family and we're all different species." said Kane. "Yeah and well, Zane has made a lot of friends, both normal people and people like Ivan and Liv. The moral of life is to not judge others." said Cole. "Can we stop with this stuff? It's making me sick." said Sivarth.
Outside of the village, the trio of Sherry, Toby, and Yuka looked over the village. "Um. Are you really going down there? He's there and well, he kick so much ass." said Toby, looking over toward Yuka who was still injured after fighting Zane. "I have no choice. It wouldn't be right to leave things how we left them. Cold Emperor Lyon may have gone off somewhere but he'll return." said Yuka. "We have to do this. In the name of love." said Sherry.
The villagers continued their celebration being their party came to a crashing halt when the trio soon appeared there. Zane soon noticed them as he said,"Huh. I didn't expect to see them here.". "Don't lie." said Athena. "And this place's defenses is terrible if they could just sneak in." said Twilight. "Its the Cold Emperor's Henchmen!" said a villager. "And woman! Why do you guys forget that?" said Zane. Twilight slapped him for that comment.
The girls huddled around a shirtless Gray ,which was normal, and they were scared. "So what should we do?" said Lulu. "I'll handle them." said Gray, standing up. Erza and Zane followed suit as two of them gazed hard at the former three villains while Natsu was eating some fire. "So how it's going you three? Came for a rematch? I mean you guys lost pretty badly the first time but hey, there is always round two." said Zane, putting his hands behind his hand.
Yuka looked right at Zane with him smugly saying,"Void Knight. You are quite strong being hands down the strongest in your group of strong fairies.". "So are you including Triple B and the cat with us or what? Because if you are, I think I must have hit you hard on the head." said Zane with the group of Erza, Lucy, and Natsu glaring at him for calling Lucy weak which he does quite often and totally deserves it. Remember, this story will have some bias and trust me when I say that.
Yuka smiled as he said,"I guess so but I don't know myself. Sherry lost to her so she can be the judge on her strength better than I could. We came here because the Cold Emperor need some time to think after what happened.". "So we're here to pay you a visit in his place." said Sherry with a cold glare mainly toward Lucy. Toby's response was a simple bark. "Wait just a minute!" yelled Lucy, finally get up to her feet.
Lucy said,"I thought we were cool. Didn't Lyon tell you guys what happened?!". "He did but we have something called pride so that doesn't matter to us." said Yuka. "We want to settle things with you ourselves." said Sherry. "By the way, I'm still peeved about you making me paralyze myself!" said Toby, directing his gaze toward Natsu. "Wow. That's just wow." said Bobo, with the villagers nodding in unison.
Erza's brown eyes narrowed at the three. "They didn't come here for a fight." thought Erza. Natsu soon stepped forward, an eager grin plastered across his face. "Okay then! Show me what you got you freaks!" said Natsu with his fists fired up. "Yeah. We're ready for anything you guys can dish out and then some." said Gray, with ice gathering around him. "Gray and Natsu! Wait! We can't let you keep fighting all of our battles. We should take care of them." said Bobo.
A village behind Chief Moka and Bob cried out,"Yeah. We can handle those clowns.". "If we want to keep our village safe, we've got to protect it." said another village behind them. "Normally, I would agree with you gentlemen but I believe it's best if I handle this one." said Erza. "And now, I have to disagree with you Prude of Knights." said Zane. "Seriously? Do you always have to be the center of attention?" said Lucy. "Yes he does. He loves it just as much he loves being a hero." said Sly.
Erza looked at him as she said,"Okay Zane. How about we handle them together? You know why they're here don't you?". "I do but I want to play a game with you. It's a simple one. Rock, Paper, and Scissors. The winner gets to handle these three." said Zane. "Okay. That's fine." said Erza. "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean Zane is going to read her mind." said Happy. "Yeah. He has a major advantage." said Lucy. "Not exactly." said Sly.
Zane smiled as he said,"Okay then. You're thinking so much that I cannot possibly tell which one you're going to go with. Oh whatever shall I do?". "He's been over dramatic. Can you tell me why we're letting them decided this with rock, paper, and scissors?!" said Toby with his friends agreeing with him on the first part and everyone except for Erza and Sly agreeing with him on the second part of his statement.
Zane said,"I wonder what I should go with. Maybe rock or perhaps scissors or maybe I should go with PAPER?". Erza smiled as she thought,"Thanks for this Zane.". The two soon said,"Rock, Paper, Scissors!". She held out Scissors, thinking that he's going to go with Paper but in all reality, he went with rock. Erza was shocked as Zane said,"I guess I get to fight them. Sweet.". He walked toward the three with him stopping a fair distance away from them.
Happy whispered to Sly,"So did he read her mind or what?". "Nope. He used an old family trick he and his older brother Lucius played on Kurt, the middle brother all of the time. You think he would have figure it out by now but he hasn't." said Sly, shaking her head. "So we met again Void Knight of Fairy Tail. You've gave Angelica quite a beating earlier with that Take-Over of yours." said Sherry. "I could be wrong but I think she can talk to rats." said Cole. "That's a unique power." said Athena.
Yuka said,"You may have defeated me before but this time, I'm well prepared for any tricks.". Toby didn't say anything, with him only grinning. Zane just looked at them being that he looked blankly at them. "I'm sure you know this pervert but watch out for that creepy chick! She can control any nearby inanimate objects!" yelled Lucy. "And Mega-Brows can deflect any magic attack back at you but you knew that so go man!" said Natsu.
Gray said,"And I'm sure you can make dog-boy into paralyzing himself. I mean Dragon Breath did it so you easily can.". "Hey!" yelled Natsu and Toby. "Oh no. What ever should I do? Oh I got it." said Zane. He soon rushed at the trio being that he went toward Sherry first. "Rhino Charge!" said Zane with him soon kicking and punching Sherry, sending her flying into the air. He soon stretched his left arm back a bit and aimed toward Yuka. "Sweet Punch!" said Zane.
His left fist collided with Yuka's face, forcing him to the ground with a thud. He soon turned toward Toby, who was backing up with wide eyes and sweat forming around his brows. Before Toby could do anything, he heard,"Boo.". Toby turned around to see Zane behind him and hit him with a good old fashioned haymaker right into Toby's face and send him toward Sherry and Yuka. "So are you guys ready for a round three because man, I'm so itching to fight." said Zane.
With the three subdued, the villagers and Fairy Tail wizards looked in awe and shock from the quick spectacle. "Yep. His fighting skills have improved being that to him, they were nothing more than dust or ants." said Sly. "I wonder how his fighting skills stack up to mine." thought Erza. "Wow. He was wow." said Natsu. "So did he use magic or what?" said Lucy. "And that's the great and powerful Zane! Hold your applause!" said Happy. "Can it cat!" yelled Lucy.
The three slowly got back up to their feet. Much to their shock, Sherry smiled as she steadily got up from Zane's kick and punch combo. "You're truly an strong fighter." said Sherry. Yuka soon wiped a trickle of blood off his mouth. "No kidding. You beat the crap out of me before along with Deliora so where would I stand in your path of conquest?" said Yuka. When Toby arose for his punch, his eyes were still spinning. "Ain't that the truth sister?!" said a dizzy Toby.
Everyone ,except for the trio of Erza, Sly, and Zane, eyed the trio with confusion being that they weren't fighting back. "So you're not here to fight?" said Lucy. The three soon looked to the ground with shameful expression. "I doubt Void Knight beating the crap out of us will make things right after all the bad stuff we did. We just wanted to apologize in person." said Yuka. "So you guys wanted to settle things in a good way." said Happy. "And not fighting is a good way?" said Natsu.
Gray shook his head as Sherry said,"The Cold Emperor told us everything. Thanks to Zane and the rest of you, we can finally let go of the pain that Deliora caused us so many years ago.". "So were all of you victims of Deliora as well?" said Gray. "Yes. When we were children, the monster destroyed our village. We watched it murder all our friends and family in front of us." said Yuka. "Like I told you before, the Cold Emperor had a plan so that's why we followed him." said Toby.
Yuka said,"We wanted revenge so badly and because of that, we never noticed that we were hurting innocent people in the process.". "We were so blinded by our hatred that we didn't act any better than Deliora. From now on, we'll treat other people with respect and love." said Sherry. Toby barked as Zane smiled. "I think you've learned a lesson as well. The idea of revenge can blind anyone including myself." said Zane.
He soon pointed to his piercing and prosthetic right arm using his left arm. "I lost my arm and heart when I was sixteen. It was my fault for rushing at my enemy because I watched my friend be killed right in front of me and I couldn't do a dam thing to stop it. I soon rushed on despite the warning and concerns of the allies I've made. This culminated in me almost dying by an acid spewing bastard. It was thanks to my friends that I'm here today." said Zane, remembering what happened.

"Before I get off track like I do often, the moral of life is to not live in the past and let revenge take you over. The moral of life is to live in the future. I would say to forgive those who have hurt you but well don't. I have forgave the person who destroyed my arm and heart but hey, I'm a weirdo." said Zane.
Before anyone could say anything, Natsu decided to change the mood. "Alrighty then!" said Natsu with him sounding happy. He soon appeared behind the trio, laying a hand on Sherry's and Toby's shoulders. This brought them in closer until they squished Yuka in the middle. "I don't want to be in that threesome." said Zane. "You guys should stick around and join in the feast then?" said Natsu with a smile.
Yuka ,very much startled, said,"But we were enemies a minute ago.". "I don't know if it's such a good idea because I'm trying to watch my figure and...." said Sherry. She was soon stopped by Natsu who brought them closer together. "Enough with the excuses. Life is worth living you know?" said Natsu who soon dragged them around until they were sitting at a table. They held their drinks in fear as the demons just started at the trio. "Okay! Now it's time to party!" shouted Natsu.
And just like that, the party went back to normal. Zane leaned on nothing as he smiled. Twilight soon appeared from his right shoulder ,which had his scar noticeable, as she said,"So when are you going to talk to her and put on a shirt?". "Right now and tomorrow." said Zane. He soon flicked Enigma Talisman ,being that despite not wearing a shirt, he was still wearing his gear, and left to go find her while Kane keep up appearances.
Outside of the village nearby them and perched in the trees, Ultear watched the events go done in the village and next to her, there was a bluish-purple orb. It was acting as a visual transference device to a location that one might no expect and to a person that no one ,who isn't telepathic like Sly, Zane, or anyone who knows the magic, would suspect even less. "So did you happen to enjoy the show sir? I thought it was quite fun." said Ultear.
She also recorded the fight between Zane and Deliora being that a male, prick sounding voice said from the orb,"I did. It seems that our friend is much stronger than expected. So why did you return the village and island back to normal?". "Because I was feeling nice. So what did you think of Zane sir?" said Ultear with a shrug. She didn't tell him about Ur being that she still hasn't even told her REAL boss about her being brought back yet.
The voice on the other end sighed as he said,"Kindness will get you killed. Those Fairies could pose a threat to our plans if left unchecked. I'm more talking about the Void Knight. I think the fight should me a fraction of his true power. We will be having a chat about him once you get back. I will kill him because I, Siegrain shall....". The orb was soon destroyed by "accident" being that it was Ultear who did this. I wonder why.
Her expression was surprised being that she knew that the puppet was being threaten by an unknown player in the game. "He's a naive fool. I doubt he would have no idea what a force my Zane can be and I beat he bruised your pride." said Ultear. "Yeah. I tend to do that a lot because one of my best power is pushing people's buttons from short to long range. It's great. So how are things with you Ultear?" said a voice.
Ultear almost fell out of the tree she was sitting on and she said,"Where are you Zane?". She soon saw Zane being that he was in Ninja Form. "So how long have you been watching little old me be well me?" said Zane. "So what is your goal?" said Ultear. Zane tilted his head to the right as Ultear said,"Before I met you, I only had one person I cared about but you brought yourself and my mother into the mix.". "Oh. You mean Meredy? We should totally meet up." said Zane.
Zane smiled as he said,"So you really do get a lot from your mom by the way Ultear. She's still here until I take her back to the mainland. I've told Gray this and his talk with Ur should be about five minutes. She's going to stay with Lisa for a while and I'll make sure that Lisa doesn't talk about her being alive yet. I can't have people knowing I can bring back the dead.". Ultear was quiet as Zane sighed.
He smiled as he said,"I may not know him like you do but right now, he's blinded darkness. It sounds cheesy but it's the truth. I'll make him see the light. You or him can't win against me in a fight. I'm one of the huge threats to Earthland right now and by the way, that's a stupid name for a planet. It's like naming a city the City. I mean who does that. You'll be my double agent Ultear and your mom and I will be the only two who knows about her.".
Ultear was silent as Zane said,"Well, I better get back to the party and if you want to talk, just come find me. I've always got an ear open. Go talk to your mom! Admitting you having a problem is the first step to recovery and moving on.". He soon hopped away with Ultear just standing there, unsure on what to do. She was soon gone being that the time wizard has to think about what just happened and talk with Ur.
The next morning, Zane woke up feeling more annoyed than overjoyed that they were leaving the island and heading back to Magnolia to be "punished". He could tell that the next couple of days were going to be long and annoying. "Stupid Crisis Judgement." said Zane. He soon did a few stretches before he left the hut where he was staying. He had slept with a very nice demon girl and well, it was nice to release some pent-up stress if you know what I mean. Wink.
He could tell that it was the middle of the morning being that Zane didn't like sleeping this late but well, several little annoyance had tired him out. "Wow. That was some party last night. You may hate parties but that was a good one." said Cole. "So did you expect Sherry, Toby, and Yuka came to say sorry? It's good to see them move on from the past." said Athena. "Yeah but trust me, the good times are about to end and for reasons of bullshit." said Zane.
Zane soon walked around the village with Kane saying,"So are you going to wear a shirt in the near future? Please tell me that you're not turning into a stripper like Gray.". "Does it bother you so much?" said Zane. "Kinda." said Kane. "Fine. Twilight, do you mind?" said Zane. "And I have the perfect outfit in mind." said Twilight. Zane's body was soon covered in tendrils with him slowly heading toward his guild members.
By a hut, Natsu had flaming torches in both of his hands being he was consuming them like cotton candy. Happy was nearby him. Lucy was examining a faint but noticeable scar on Gray's forehead, being that it was covered by his long hair. Sly was floating nearby as the five soon heard,"Hey there gang. Enjoying the sweet island life?". Zane stood there with him wearing his beach outfit. This considered of a gray short sleeved Hawaiian inspired shirt.
This had a black, red, and white flower/short design. He's wearing black shorts that goes past his knees and his signature sneakers. He's also had a pair of sunglasses hanging off his short. He's also wearing all of his accessories (black and white signet ring, brown bag, Enigma Talisman, Galaxy Phones, silver earrings, wooden necklace, and Z.E.R.O. watch) except of his glasses. "So I'm going to guess that you are Zane." said Gray, also wearing a Hawaiian styled shirt.
Zane said,"I am because well, I've had a good night with a demon girl. She and I rock the casbah if you know what I mean.". Gray and Lucy blushed as Happy said,"So what does he mean by that you guys?". "We'll tell you when you're older." said Sly. "So where did eyebrows, rat girls, and dog man go?" said Zane, looking around the area. "Like typical party guests. They stuffed their faces and took off." said Happy. "Makes sense." said Zane.
Lucy ,who was wearing her first outfit revealed in Chapter 1, was looking directly at the cut of Gray's forehead being that she said,"Hmm. I think it's going to leave a scar.". "That's fine. It's doesn't matter to me." said Gray, shrugged nonchalantly. "On your face though?!" said Lucy. "I don't mind having a few scars as long as I can see them. It's the ones that you can't see that really hurt." said Gray with him smiling. "Yeah and chicks dig scars." said Zane.
Lucy smiled as she said with a wink,"Wow. You two are really smooth aren't you?". Natsu ,while in the middle of eating the flame on the torches, growled in response. Zane rolled his eyes as Sivarth said,"Quit being jealous. Kiss her and you should let your mate talk to other women.". "You know that he can't hear you right?" said Twilight. "So what the hell is an invisible scar? And they're just making your ugly ass even uglier." said Natsu.
Gray soon slapped him in the chest as he said,"Shut up Natsu. Why the hell do you have to ruin everything that I do cool?". "And how was that cool? You're the farthest thing from it." said Natsu with the two starting to banter. Lucy sighed as she said,"So why can't they be friends?". "Because boys will be boys." said Zane. "Aye." said Happy. "So where is Prude Knight?" said Zane. "With Moka and the villagers." said Lucy. "We should go join her." said Zane. 'Right." said the group.
Later in the afternoon, it was time for the group to head back to Magnolia. They were at the main gates, standing before Chief Moka, Bobo, and the villagers. Gray and Zane stood nearby Erza's luggage cart as Cole said,"So is she wasting her magic power on this stuff or what?". "Who knows Cole?" said Zane. The trio of Happy, Lucy, Natsu, and Sly were talking, leaving Gray and Zane alone as Erza was talking with Bobo and Moka.
Zane said,"So how was your talk with Ur go?". Gray looked away as he said,"Well, she was happy to see me and then punched me in the gut for almost killing myself twice. Why did you have tell her about me using Iced Shell?". "Because I could. So are you going to see her once we get some off time and survive this punishment?" said Zane. "Yeah and she said that she'll do anything you want to thank you." said Gray. "She and Ultear share so much in common being quite seductive." said Kane.
Zane said,"Really? I mean I'm quite the catch and have been single for so long. Tell her that I'll be having some alone time with her.". "Dude. Why are you telling me this?" said Gray. "Because I can Gray but don't worry. I'll go slow with her at first because I'm a fan of taking things slow at first and then going in fast. My date from last night knows what I mean." said Zane. Gray blushed as Zane soon smirked.
Moka said with him speechless and shocked,"What?! Are you sure that you can't take the reward but you deserve it miss. Please.". "Thank you but to us, your gratitude is payment enough." said Erza with a warm smile. "That is an extremely ludicrous reason. I know that we came here in order to save these people but all of that money could be helpful in the near future." said Sivarth. "We do have a substantial treasury back home but more money is better than no money." said Athena.
Twilight said,"I'm not a betting Vordlarin. We're going to interfere aren't we?". "Isn't that obvious Twilight?" said Athena, Cole, Kane, and Sivarth. "Why doesn't she take the money?" whined Lucy as the answer was obvious. "I really don't care." said Natsu. "Aye." said Happy. "I thought you didn't care about the reward Zane. You seem annoyed about Erza not taking the money. Is it the answer obvious and I'm just missing it?" said Gray, looking at his friend. "Yes it is." said Sly.
Zane was used to not get paid for being a hero being that saving a normal person usually doesn't have any benefits but making sure they live another day. He also fought a lot of villains with some fights being ones that he could never forget but doesn't regret. "That's nice and all but you really should take the money." said Bobo. "I can't because your request was never accepted by the guild. The people who took the job were a bunch of fools trying to prove themselves." said Erza.
Zane said while walking up to them,"And I'm a S-Class Wizard so technically, I should take the reward for doing a good job. I mean I did destroying the moon you asked.". He soon dodged Erza's punch as Moka said while laughing,"You both are right. We were saved thanks to you lot. How about I give you the money as not a reward as instead as a "Thank You" gift? It's the least we can do after everything you've done for our village.".
The group by the cart heard this and immediately turned to listen in. "When you put it like that, you make it hard to say no." said Erza, shaking her head. The trio of Gray, Happy, and Lucy soon smiled happily with the villagers looked pleased at her accepting the reward much to their shock. Natsu soon had his arms crossed over his chest with Sly nodding her head, knowing what's going to happen due to her knowing Zane. "7 millions Jewels!" said Gray, cheering in an excited tone.
Lucy squealed happily,"We're going to be rich Natsu!". "You guys do know that she won't accept that right?" said Natsu with Gray deflating. "I know Erza and she'll decline it. However, she'll accept the golden zodiac gate key." said Natsu, smiling at the blond. Lucy's eyes soon lit up when she heard that news. "I'm sorry but accepting your reward would be what our guild stands again. We'll happily accept that golden gate key." said Erza.
Gray shouted,"Why the fuck did we all do all of this for a dinky ass key?! I mean we went through so much shit!". Gray said this because of me. This is the main reason why I didn't want to do this beside Galuna Island being meh to me. I mean Sagittarius is fine and gets more screen time than Capricorn but going through all of that just for Lucy to get a power-up. It's bullshit. "Come to mama! And that key is way stronger than all of you combined!" yelled Lucy."Yeah right!" said Gray and Sly.
Zane sighed as he said,"Well Bobo, I guess I was right again.". The villagers, wizards, and Moka looked at Bobo who chuckled. "I guess so. I mean I was totally sure that she would have taken both rewards but I guess you read her mind." said Bobo. "Zane. What does he mean?" said Erza. "Like I how I totally owned you at rock paper scissors, I owned you again. If you would Bobo." said Zane as Bobo soon held a bag. "And here's the 7 million jewels." said Bobo.
Moka looked at his son as he said,"You bet the reward with a known psychic wizard?!". "I really thought they would have taken both of them! I mean the odds were 100 to one!" said Bobo. The rest of the group were shocked at this as Sly said,"Honestly, I've seen him do much worse. So how are we going to get back?". "Let me take you all back to Hargeon. I need to get away from my dad because well, I just bet away over a million jewels." said Bobo with him whispering the last part.
Erza glanced her toward the shoreline as she said,"Thank you sir but I have a boat waiting.". "You can't be serious." said Zane. All of them were soon at the shoreline of Galuna Island being that a loud horn from a nearby boat of all things went off. There was a pirate ship being that Gray said to Zane who was placing the money in his bag,"So did you read her mind to figure this out or what? She came here on a pirate ship.". "No. I saw it from the village.
Natsu said with wide and starry eyes,"Okay! That's awesome Erza!". Lucy then hugged herself as she yelled,"You're kidding me?! Did she steal it?". "I think the term she would use is borrowing it." said Sly, with Erza glaring at her. The crewmembers of the vessel were evidently waving in a friendly manner to Erza as the captain and his crew said,"Ahoy me Beauty!". "Ahoy me beauty? Wow. These people are idiots. I mean you're the farthest thing from it." said Zane.
Natsu and the pirates glared at him with Zane saying,"Wow. A glare. So original. If I had a nickel for when someone glared at me with one of my lovely comments, I would be a very rich man even more than I already am.". "They've grown quite fond of me." said Erza. 'That's the great Erza for you." said Happy. "Suck up!" coughed Zane. "Ahoy there! Come aboard me ship, mates!" shouted the captain with Gray saying,"Mates?". "I don't wanna! I'm not riding that creepy boat!" complained Lucy.
Sly said,"So do you complain about everything Lucy? I mean it's getting annoying.". "If you want to swim, I'll join you Luce!" said Natsu."That isn't going to happen! You're insane!" yelled Lucy. "Well then, I'll see you guys on the mainland." said Zane, stretching. "And how are you going to do that and are you scared of the pirates?" said Erza. "Nope. I like pirates but I'm more of a ninja guy plus the last group of pirates I met were a pain in my ass." said Zane.
Sly said,"Well, you did piss off their mother and one of their leaders.". "She had it coming being that that long legged bitch is the worst. I mean her brothers are so much cooler than her." said Zane. The two soon argued with everyone watched in both confusion about what the two were talking about and wondering if they should stop their argument. "So how will you get back Zane? And can I come with you?! " said Natsu. "Using Swift Form and no. I want you to suffer. Later!" said Zane.
He soon turned into Swift Form and started running on water. Everyone was shocked by this as Sly said,"You can't be shocked anymore. I mean he destroyed a demon that was supposed to be invincible and destroyed the moon. Lets go.". The Akostar and guild wizards soon got on board with the ship soon deployed its black sails, setting out for sea.. "Weigh anchor! We're shovin' off!" said the captain with the pirates following suit.
All of them were on the railing except for Natsu being that he was currently motion sick. The villagers waved goodbye to them with Bobo sticking out. "Everyone! Thank you so much! You guys should come back someday!" said Bobo. "Yeah! You betcha!" said Lucy. waving to them. "I hope we get to do the demon wiggle-waggle again Gray and tell this to Zane too!" said a girl. "Fairy Tail is the best!" said a village.
As the Fairy Tail wizards and Akostar sailed away, Lyon and his comrades sat on a nearby cliff with Toby crying his eyes out. "To be honest, they were not that bad." said Yuka, who clasped his hands behind his back. "I'm not crying! I've got something in my eyes!" said Toby, who had tears pouring from his eyes. "Oh really?" said Lyon. Sherry turned toward Lyon who was smiling despite the giant hand shaped mark on his cheek.
She didn't know where that came from being that it was from Ur being that Zane had taken a picture of this for blackmail against Lyon. He really likes having blackmail against people and Lyon didn't know the reason why for it. "So are you okay Cold Emperor? You've been quiet for a while now and I worry for you. You've never said good-bye to your friend and give him your love." said Sherry, with a heart appearing behind her.
Lyon smiled as he said,"It's fine. This is the right thing to do.". He watched the clouds move and he said,"You three were in a guild once? Was it nice?". Back at Era or more to be specific the chambers of Siegrain. Ultear was walking toward Siegrain's deck with a neutral expression on her face. You may ask why I'm not complaining about Siegrain having his own chambers but I can presume that all of them have a chamber I hope.
Back to the story, Ultear would normally be cheerful but given their conversation had the potential to go bad for her normally if she didn't have a back-up plan against the puppet. "It's a shame that Deliora couldn't work out. Why do you want to talk with me about Zane Alvarez?" said Ultear. "Wow. You're right to the point aren't you?" said Siegrain with a chuckle. "You seem to care more about him than you do about losing Deliora so color me curious." said Ultear.
She would have reacted to the pain that Zane delivered to her but she was healed by him. "So you aren't injured? I'm sure that Zane attacked you in order to stop Deliora." said Siegrain. "I'm fine but you have a reason for calling me here right?" said Ultear. "Yes. It's unfortunate. We had no idea about the demon being the prime target for our friend." said Siegrain. He soon closed a green book and used his magic to telekinetically lift it up and place it back on the enormous shelf of books.
This book shelf was at the end of his office. "It's a minor setback. I'll make sure that I'm more through if he's going to be involved with another demon of Zeref. Zane is be a rather big thorn in my side as of late being that he's mouthed off to every one in the council plus her." said Siegrain. Ultear soon rolled her eyes with her stepping forward toward him. "I'm sorry Siegrain. I didn't expect that wench's magic to be so powerful." said Ultear.
Siegrain said,"You really shouldn't speak about your mother that way. I don't think you want Ur to shed another tear. She was a magnificent wizard who was greatly admired. I respected her. If she was alive, she would be one of the ten wizard saints without question. That is saying a lot being six of the ten wizard saints compared to the four gods.". He said all of this while facing Ultear being that she somewhat rolled her eyes.
Ultear scoffed as she said,"You're giving her too much credit Siegrain. She was too focused on her magic while ignoring her husband in the process.". She knew the truth from Ur herself after Zane forced her using one of his many takeovers. Her father abandoned Ur after they "lost" their daughter and he blamed her for focusing on her magic too much. She later found that he died by the hands of a dark wizard and didn't really care for his death. This isn't canon by the way.
Siegrain said,"There is an old saying. They say that the greater the loss a person suffers, the stronger powers you gain to help you triumph over it. From what I can tell, Zane has been through many losses in his life, making him quite powerful.". "I highly doubt that I was nothing more than a speck in my mother's life and Siegrain, Zane is a powerful opponent and not to be taken lightly." said Ultear getting serious at the end.
Siegrain raised an eyebrow as he said,"Oh and what do you mean by that?". In the time that he has known Ultear, she has never cared about fighting. She was a powerful wizard and if Zane Alvarez left an expression on her, he was interested. "He's faster than light and much more than Jet. He can easily make heavy beings like Deliora his bitch. I'm sure that he is on our level or maybe even higher." said Ultear.
She was somewhat lying to the puppet being that Zane was MUCH stronger than Siegrain but she didn't know if she could handle her real allegiance. "Interesting. Just like how Ur took in those two students in order to fill the void in her after you and her husband left her." said Siegrain with Ultear shutting him up using a finger over his mouth. "That subject is closed understood? It's time for us to move onto the next stage of our plan? And what about him?" said Ultear.
Siegrain smiled as he said,"For now Ultear, nothing. Zane is nothing more than a piece in my game and I wish to see what else he has store in us. Natsu will keep burning brightly.". "Speaking of Zane, he seems to be having a different agenda that what he has been telling his guildmates." said Ultear. "I wonder what his true agenda in all of this." said Siegrain. Ultear smiled. So lets go back to Galuna Island for one more thing.
Back on Galuna Island, a young man was standing there. This is Zeref. He had short black hair whose bangs covered his red eyes. He also had notably sharp canines. He was wearing a pendant around his neck with him opening it. A soft tune played from it with him having a smile on his face. He wears a high-collared black and tan robes with a gold trim, along with a large, flowing white toga draped around his torso.
This is how Zeref normally is but to spoil a bit of the story, Zeref will have more of a presence being more name drops. In the same vein as Zane changing the story, Zeref's appearance changes to make him look slightly more edgier. Zeref was now wearing a black skull themed armlet around his right bicep and a skull themed choker around his neck. The area was dead, ranging from the animals to the plants.
He had taken a vacation from his home on Tenrou Island being that he was hiding from everyone until she found him. He was enjoying his time there being that in time, he sensed something. It was an extremely strong power that shocked him. It was very much something that he had not felt in his lifetime. He soon found out the source of the power was a member of the same guild as Natsu with his name being Zane.
He hadn't come in contact with neither Natsu and Zane. From a safe distance, he watched him take down Lullaby being that he made Lullaby his bitch. He came to this island in order to make Deliora stronger but he was soon shocked to see that even with the power boost, Ur and Zane made Deliora weaker than even Lullaby. It was kinda depressing to see all of his hard work go the way of the dodo and it was quite sad.
He wondered if anyone could defeat him as he is now being that he wanted to die by Natsu's hand. He was sure that he could take both of them even if Zane was serious he thought. I mean he could if he had the power of friendship but he doesn't. I'm still waiting for a villain ,who uses the power of friendship, against a hero who uses the power of friendship. No matter what, he just wanted to die so he would do it. He left the island by a portal of pure magic.

Who is that person who came in contact with Zeref? Is there a war coming up between two guilds for a very strange yet pointless reason or something else? Will we meet Lisa and Ur again? Will Ur have an impact on the story? She mostly will not but who really knows? Will we even finish the backlog of stuff to talk about in the Author Note? That won't happen because I'll keep adding stuff. Will Zane stop being overpowered and stealing the fight from others mainly Erza? Lets be honest here. It's totally going to happen but way later. My bias for Zane over other characters will never stop that's for sure. This and more next time on Fairy Legion!
Classic Cards/Forms that were introduced in Zero:
Comet Form. This card has a black frame with a creature flying through outer space very much like a comet. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 93 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. This form was actually the second form created by Parker.
Drill Form. This card has a black frame with a giant drill in the center of the card. This form was introduced in Zero Episode 44 and its Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. Zane's body produces a drilling sound with him smiling. He can turn his hands, feet, and body into drills. This form later gets a change/upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. It's very similar to Brain and Frost Form being that instead of going through a metamorphosis, both Drill Form and its Prime Form progress into the future or matures according to Parker. It's seen in person around the time of Fairy Legion Chapter 33 and it's Prime Form was seen in person around the time of Zero Episode 129.
