Disclaimer: This Post had originally been posted on November 16, 2018 at 7:18 PM. I'm reposting this Chapter along with Fairy Legion Chapters 1-26 because of a massive plot change. If you've read this story before, not much will have changed except Zane's reason for going to the Fairy Tail Dimension. The Author Note and whatever I talk about in them may or will be extremely outdated today or I'm somehow seeing the future so just ignore if you want.
A/N: Fun fact about this chapter. This and Chapter 21 were already posted to the Blog before I decided to take them down. I decided to do that because well, I was heading toward deadly waters and also the plot for both of them made no sense mainly in the case of Chapter 21. Chapter 20 and 21 were connected so I decided to get rid of both of them being that I'm rewriting them from the ground up. I'll be honest with all of you. This Author Note is going to be long.
This is because well, I'm doing both the old Chapter 20 and 21's Author Note. I'll admit that last chapter could have been easily cut in half but here's the thing. Fairy Legion is usually going to be much longer than say a normal episode of Zero or really anything that isn't notes based. I didn't cut in half because I wanted to make these episodes longer plus I was having too much fun waiting the last episode. I'll fully admit that it was a little pretentious.
It's main purpose to show Zane and essentially my view on killing in fiction but not real life. Zane's view on life and death is the same as it is in Zero ,the series, but with a lot less experience under his belt. Killing is the worst thing that a human can do to another human. Animals are another story but lets just stick with the human killing human. I see life as the most treasured gift that a person could have.
They should go to jail and have no chance on getting out for a least of couple of years. I'm more forgiving toward an accidental death rather than an on purpose death. It sounds kinda stupid but that's my honest thought on it. In fiction, death can either mean something or not being that I can name more times where it doesn't rather than it means something. That's the honest truth. Dragon Ball is a big example.
The Dragon Balls can do whatever the author wants them to so bringing someone back from the death is evil. However, the balls do have their weakness. Android 16 is the only character that I can think of who wasn't or won't be revived with the Dragon Balls. That may change but who really knows? I mean Cell won't come back because he's hard to draw I heard. Don't know the exact reason but it's a reason.
Fairy Tail is another example of death meaning nothing being that Jellal who was broken down at the atomic level during fusion and fired into the sky aka the Tower of Heaven exploding. He was put in a coma for an arc and then brought back. I'll spoil something now. Jellal will die by the hands of Zane but brought back not because he's my favorite villain or character. He isn't even close to my favorite being that he's one of my least favorite.
He'll be brought back by the main villain That's what I have planned and that may challenge. A big example of death not meaning anything is in comics being that only Uncle Ben and Batman's parents stay dead if we are not including the elseworlds story. Death will happen in this story being that here's the thing. A death will only happen if I don't have any plans for a named character in the future of the story.
Remember, I said that Zane changes canon from when he entered the story being that nothing before the series officially begins with Chapter 1 or Episode 1 changes except for Erza and Natsu joining the guild at the same time. It could be something Ur returning from the grave but won't be appearing in the story hopefully, adding a new character or changes a character's past a tiny bit, and killing off a character.
I do have a couple planned being that the best thing about writing Fairy Legion now is because the series is done and if something changes either the Anime or Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest ,which by the way is a mouthful to say so I'm calling the Fairy Tail Sequel, adding something that I really like involving a death, I'll bring back from the dead. Like I said before, Death means very little in fiction but real life is another story.
We're on a roll with bringing out Fairy Legion because I plan to go back to Zero after Phantom Lord ends or in the middle of it. I haven't decide it but it will be soon. So a quick little thing about this arc before we get into the main chunk of this author note. We'll meet a couple of new characters being that at least two of them will have a role to play in the next arc and later arcs and that's all I'm going to say for now.
Excluding the talk on death, the main chunk of the Author Note is about One Piece Chapter 918-921 plus something else. Like I have said before, we're doing recaps of sections being that I'm getting sick of writing,"We see/We Also" every other paragraph. That will happen. Chapter 918 shows Holdem gets wrecked with one punch. Yeah. That was kinda sad and initially shows how weak Kaido's crew is weak.
We learn more about Tama's Devil Fruit being while it doesn't work on humans, it works on Smile users. I do wonder if it works on Zoan devil fruit users like Chopper or maybe Kaido. Maybe that's why Holdem wanted her. I also like how Hawkins instantly figured out that it was Law under that mask thanks to the tattoo and his devil fruit power. After that clash, we head back to Okobore Town where we see a mother about to kill her baby.
You'll probably miss it the first read if you didn't hear about it from someone else. I didn't noticed this during the first reading being that Batman is there along with a guy with a bunny beard gets squished by water. We also learn that Wano has fire-fighters. Who knew that a ancient Japanese country had fire-fighters. It's the little things. The end of the chapters shows the graves of the Oden Family plus their retainers being that I thought that they were actually ghosts.
I mean that sounds kinda weird but you do remember that we're in a series where people get powers from eating fruit plus so many other weird events such as a woman who can have more than 10 kids and still have more later on I'm guessing. That is just one of many things that makes One Piece the series that it is. I did wonder if Zoro is ever going to see the sword that was given to Luffy being that it'll do something but what will it do? We'll not find out for a while.
Kiku is hiding something being that we learn about what she's hiding this part. Chapter 919 shows the return back to the flower capital being that we get some more information about Wano through a cute looking teacher and her students. I'll say this right now. There are many things that I like and that about this arc being that the art is a major reason being that well, there is a moment in Chapter 924 that makes me hate this arc. Yes, it's petty.
I fully understand that but art along with music is highly subjective. The kids in the classroom aren't exactly drawn very pretty but I'm sure that this is the point. It's just very ugly to look at to say the very least. We also learn that the teacher is a Yokai or a Rokurokubi which is really cool. Chapter 919 reintroduces Robin which is a plus in my book because she fits the Yamato Nadeshiko better than Nami. I mean Nami is still attractive but well, Robin fits the definition of a Yamato Nadeshiko.
We also learn that Zoro got lost while riding on an animal. I don't get how he did that but that's Zoro for you. We see Kinemon again being that he's also the master of Kiku in terms of the way of the sword. You think that there is more to their relationship but well, we learn more about Kinemon. We also see Momo along with the rest of the Straw Hats (Brook, Chopper, Nami, and Sanji) plus that bunny girl. I'm not a big fun of Carrot because to me, she's just there to be fan service.
I see her just like Lucy from Fairy Tail and that may change before it's too late. I like Jimbei joining the crew due to him having some prior and interesting history. If Carrot has that, she can join but to me, I rather have Bon Clay or hell I'll take Vivi over Carrot. The big reveal of this arc is that the group of Kanjuro, Kinemon, Kiku, Momo, and Raizo are actually from twenty years in the past being that they traveled through time.
Yes, One Piece is doing both time travel and making an possibly unintentional reference to Samurai Jack. I mean the latter is so obvious being that it's a time-traveling samurai being that he's trying to free his county from a great evil aka Kaido and the Shogun. Chapter 920's cover page shows the result of Sanji and Zoro fighting each other in the dream being that I like Zoro's dream more than Sanji.
I mean Nami hugging Sanji is nothing new but Zoro being praised by Chopper is just more interesting to me. This chapter shows more of Lord Oden being that I actually found it kinda interesting. I mean he may never come back into the series since he was well killed but I liked that we learn more about a character. We also see the return of Duke Inuarashi being that we see him and Nekomamushi.
I do feel kinda bad for Kinemon and the rest of his group being that according to them, it had been only a few days since their lord died but to the rest of the world, it has been over ten years. We also see Kaido and his three calamities being that two of them are still in silhouettes. Despite it being twenty years, Kinemon and his group still has support. We also learn of the basic of the plan being that they're going to raid on Kaido's base. Yeah.
That isn't going to work because well, the next four chapters. Yeah. I know that I'm spoiling it but if you keep up with One Piece, you know what's going on. I mean the cover for Shonen Jump isn't hiding that Kaido is going to do something. Anyway, we get to see the Tokyo Girls Collection of One Piece being that you can see several beautiful girls and Big Mom. I honestly like that she and Shirahousi are there because well, it sticks out to me along with my man Chopper.
As a cute animal, he gets all the girls more than a harem protagonist. We get some more info on the plan to take down Kaido and well, I just have a feeling that it isn't going to work. I know that I'm being rather harsh but this is my honest feeling. I could totally be wrong but I'm not putting my hopes up too high. We also learn that Tsuru and Kinemon are married. Yeah. Kinemon is married. I mean it's some good character development for a background character.
We also learn the purpose of the Straw Hats's purpose in Wano being that each character will have a purpose. I've said this before but I like when all characters have a purpose in a plan being that a character that does nothing can be worse than a character who does something in my mind. We also learn more about Kinemon's Devil Fruit being that it could be called the Clothes Clothes fruit. We also get to see Nami as a sexy ninja which is a good thing.
However my attention was on the always adorable Chopper and Brook is just my favorite character in One Piece so I"m usually going to be focusing on him. I do wonder how the afro got a topknot but hey, I'm not an expert on hair in the slightest We also learn that we need to find three samurais Ashura Doji, Denjiro, and Kawamatsu being that we met one of them but his identity is revealed until much later.
We meet Shutenmaru being that you may think that he's just a fat-ass who won't do anything but be a character who gets owned rather fast but well, he does something awesome. We also see the return of Jack so if you're a fan of the Mammoth Boys, you were happy to see him back. I kinda thought that he died by an elephant aka Zunisha but nope, you can't kill a All-Star and would totally ruin the menace of Jack who is just meh to me.
Yes. Kaido's version of the Sweet Commanders are called an All-Star. I think my favorite part of the chapter was when Jack got sliced. I don't know why but I just don't like Jack but I'm pretty sure that may be because I have a total man crush on Katakuri. The Chapter ends with Kaido showing up and his Devil Fruit is a Mythical Zoan type aka a dragon. I'm going to be honest. That was kinda lame to me.
I mean I was kinda hoping that his Devil Fruit was something that gives the user immortality or something that would prevent pain. It's like Baldur from God of War 2018. My point is that his powers could be interesting for a Devil Fruit. We'll see my full thoughts on Kaido in the next One Piece Chapter Recap. I mean next week is a break so it may come sooner than you may expect. We're almost done being that there is something that I need to clarify for both Zero and Fairy Legion.
All of Zane's forms have the black robe on them being the one from Episode 101. I just refuse to write it each time a new form shows up. It's the same as listing the color of Zane's tendrils, his three unique elements, and webbing. Sly is also usually in her dragon form in Fairy Legion unless stated otherwise and in Zero, she's usually in her salamander form. Zane and all of his forms can use his spells and it isn't due to the fusion of his Animus and Ethernano.
He's able to do this in Zero but tends not to because well, he just uses his other ways. I'm also not a grammar expert being that I've wrote down the wrong form of ruin or and runes. You noticed that kind of stuff upon revisiting a story for an old form design. I'm not perfect in any way being that I'll fully aware of my problems. Lets end this with one more thing. The characters such as Lucy or Gray will wear outfits that they do in that arc. Just wanted to say that because I ain't a fashion expert.
Narrator P.O.V.
A week later after the event with the Osmdroid and the rematch between Natsu and Zane, Sly and Zane was currently at their home being that Zane had just finished cleaning up and was working on something in his lab. The indoor of the house known Omniversal Chateau was interesting being that Zane used his forms and knowledge to make it seem bigger than it actually is. Like Zenith Tower, it's run primarily by Athena and Cole and it has a really advanced security system.
The system has been constantly modified and updated over time being that according to his family and friends but mainly the latter than the former, he's being a paranoid freak. To basically put it, the system activates upon an intruder entering. This goes off by two lighthouse towers soon appear from the main yard being that the lights a violet color and spins around like one and makes an loud alarm sound. He also has a childproofing mode for younger children.
He often wonders if he should have the childproofing on for Fairy Tail being that most of them act like children in adults body. He decided on yes after thinking about it. The house has three floors and three large basements. The first three floors have always been open to the public or anyone visiting while the three basements are closed off for security reasons. It has thirty plus rooms to house guests with them mainly staying on the first floor.
The second floor of the house is for Zane and the third floor is for the Midnight Bird. All of the bedrooms ,for all shapes and sizes, have a shower, bath, large bed and closet, and a nice sized TV and desk. The first and second hallway are connected by a set of stairs which is straightforward upon entering the house. To the left of the stairs, there is the living room/kitchen/game room and to the right of the stairs, the guest rooms, laundry, and stairway to the basement.
The living room and Zane’s room have the biggest TVs with all of them connected to a TV service that works in all dimensions. Zane’s tech based forms set this up. The living room has two couches parallel to each other and a large coffee table in the middle of the couches. There is a bookshelf in the left and right corner of the room. The couches have small tables on either side of them with highly advanced lamps on them.
There is a glass sliding door that lead out to the patio and backyard. His fireplace is made out of brick in the center of the living room with the TV over it. The couches and chairs is for all guests of shapes and sizes. The patio has an incredible view to it. There is a storeroom that contained several supplies and equipment just in case of emergencies. There is a game room. Nearby the living room, there is a kitchen.
It’s highly advanced even in the future, always has food and drinks for Zane or guests, a brick oven stove with a microwave above it, and a nice and big dining table. The kitchen has a full fridge and freezer, several appliances for cooking, pantries, a large table with a max of twelve seats and a bar counter with four bar stools. There is also a few windows that give a good view of wherever the house is.
To the right of the living room, there is a hallway with four rooms and the door to the basements. The doors on the right side of the corridor consisted of a small guest room on the end, a quest bathroom in the middle, and a door to the basements below which are relatively filled. On the right side of the corridor, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. This is where guests stay since the second floor is for Zane and the third floor is for the Midnight Bird.
The second floor is home to Zane’s own personal bedroom being that it has changed slightly in the future being the same as Zero Episode 102, later Zero Episode 108. When he was staying in Arcadia U’s dorms, he was on the 5th floor. The computers, gadgets, and machines are extremely retro-futuristic looking and constantly working. It has a meeting room which he uses mainly for talking with the Alliance about missions that can’t be talked about through his watch.
It's for privacy reasons and it was also to look way more professional. Zane’s room has a large hot tub with it being a large pool. The basements consist of the gym/training area, pool/entertainment floor, and Zane’s lab or garage. The training area is large. There is changing rooms for male and female users plus a large indoor bath which is a hot spring/bath house. It has a refrigerator with several different flavors of drinks.
One of the basement has an heated indoor swimming pool which is really big for Zane’s water based forms to practice. The final basement is his garage/lab. Zane spends his time working on new gadgets, the home defense system, or his vehicles. He also set this place up with his smartest forms being that it’s extremely highly tech. There is massive library filled with different books from the Omniverse.
He has a garden decorated with flower plots being that he has several different types of objects from the Omniverse which is used for his potions and other stuff. Some other things are that it can double as a bunker for any threat. To access the different floors, Zane thinks about it. He later gives others access this but it’s very selective. He also has a movie theater with several snack stands. His garage is huge that can fit a tank and several other cars inside of it.
The garage/lab floor is the biggest one hands down no question. This house is seen as a masterpiece being that Zane loves it a lot and it's a sign of his handwork. The place is really lonely at the moment being that Zane was currently in his basement, working on a invention of his. Sly was watching her partner work on something being that he was currently at a large work table. Zane was currently in Brain Form ,aka one of Zane's smartest Forms, in his Frog Form. He's a foot tall.
He has gray skin with amphibian like features. His eyes had triangular emerald green pupils, vertical eyelids, and yellow sclera. His skin is covered in warts ,being barely visible, on his body compared to a normal frog or toad. He has gills on the sides of his neck. He wears a black jumpsuit with a emerald green stripe goes down the middle of his chest. It's connects to the black rings around his neck being that it works like a collar, and his waist. It goes to a black belt with a gold buckle.
He wears toeless black boots with green cuffs and he wears a pair of black finger less gloves with a gold pyramid on the back. His neck looks longer than normal frogs. His hands have four fingers. His legs looked normal for his size. He had a muscular frame with a well defined jawline. Sly wanted to go on a job but Zane pretty much insisted on finished up an invention that it was for Levy being that Sly could tell that Zane had a crush on her. It was obvious when Zane liked someone.
It looked to be a black and steel gray gun of some kind. It looked to be either a flintlock, pistol, or a rifle in terms of its shape. In the center of the weapon, the Dragon Slayer Lacrima ,that he obtained in Chapter 4 from Cyrus, implanted as a power source. He also had his superhero logo "LZ" was in the center of the weapon. This was a variation of the Swiss Army Plasma Knife which was created by his mother in order to allow normal humans to fight meta humans.
However, Zane didn't have access to the tech to create the original Swiss Army Plasma Knife at the moment. He decided to use Ethernano and needed a conduit. Zane was making this weapon for Levy because she asked him to. She knew clearly well that on her team Shadow Gear, she couldn't let Droy and Jet do all of the fighting while she did nothing. Zane stopped as he said in a high pitched yet deep voice,"And the Swiss Army Ethernano Knife/Ethernano Swiss Army Knife is complete!".
Sly loudly sighed as she said,"I know that you hate being rushed mainly in Brain Form but most people in the Omniverse don't have the time to waste on little things.". "You're right but I don't want this to misfire or not fit Levy. You and I both know that in a battlefield, a very small mistake can lead to your death." said Zane. "Yeah but you're being paranoid." said Sly as the chibi dragon shrugged her shoulders.
Zane soon hopped off the table being that during the hop, he turned into his Human Form. You may think that I should wait until Zero to show this off but I'm lazy and a writer that writes in the moment rather than thinking several steps ahead. He grows to 4 foot 11 being almost 5 foot tall. He’s a short boy with him looking more frog than human. His skin is still gray with him having a muscular frame and well defined jawline for his age.
He has dark teal colored hair with it being slightly messy and goes down to his chin. His eyes are the same, his skin is still covered in warts, and gills on the sides of his neck. He has three strips ,with it being black, emerald green, and red, from the stop and bottom of his eyes and forehead around his eyes. He wears a pair of black sunglasses and carries a large kiseru pipe which is always lit and he smokes even under water. His mouth is slightly bigger than before.
His legs and neck are normal. He grows an extra finger. He wears a black skin-tight jumpsuit that covers his chest, shoulders, and his thighs. His jumpsuit has a black collar around his neck. He wears bandages and mesh armor wrapped around his arms and legs. He wears silver arm-guards, leg-guards, and samurai pauldrons. He wears a massive dosu-blade/tanto at his hip. He wears a large black happi vest with a white sash.
He still wears his toeless black boots with green cuffs and he wears a pair of black fingerless gloves with a gold pyramid on the back of the gloves. "Athena. Activate target 189." said Zane, holding the gun. It was aimed right at a target that appeared from nowhere. He pulled the trigger being that it soon fired out a red energy bullet toward the center of the target. It hit the target perfectly as Sly said with a smirk,"So I know that you have perfect aim but with Levy?".
Zane said as he placed the weapon down on the table,"Don't worry. This weapon has an auto-lock on feature plus with the help of those two Gun Wizards, She'll be a true fighter in no time plus the instructions are super simple.". Before Zane could deactivated the form, Cole's voice soon said,"We have an intruder heading toward the house Sly and Zane. It's your council friend or a friend with benefits.". "Okay. Do you mind if we're a little late to visit the guild?" said Zane.
Sly floated over to him being that she was holding Zane's brown bag. "A little but they're going to be more crazy than normal so lets go see Ultear." said Sly. Zane nodded being that he soon placed the weapon ,in its standby form which is a normal looking Swiss army knife, in his brown bag. "You do know that today is the day that Team Natsu can finally go back to work so it's to be expected Sly. Direct Transmission." said Zane as the two were soon gone.
Before we get to that scene between councilwoman and superhero, lets show the reaction to Fairy Tail learning about the truth about Sly and Zane. This however won't spoil any events that I have planned for Zero being everything will be keep vague. I don't want to spoil what I have planned for the future being that well, I haven't completely come up with it myself. I have it mostly planned out but well, I'm working out the details and some other events. Anyway, lets begin.
Flashback Narrator P.O.V.
The day after Zane's fight with Natsu, the entire guild ,except for the obvious Gildarts and Mystogan plus Laxus and his group known as the Thunder Legion, were currently waiting to hear about the truth about Sly and Zane. All of them heard the story about what happened in Hargeon involving the Osmdroid. They were slightly shocked to see that it didn't require force from Erza to make Zane talk being that he said it was better to tell them the truth before things got too serious.
Zane stood in front of the bar with a serious look. Sly was nearby him being that Zane ,like most Eazairvian, tend to go too in depth on a topic. For Zane, it was about the Omniverse or anything to do with powers. She was there to simplify for Zane. Erza was slightly impressed with how Zane was doing this being that from the first time they met, she could tell that Zane wasn't from here being that she had concentrated on Zane's "magic" power during the whole Eisenwald fiasco.
It wasn't magic to her being that she had a longer than normal life of evidence being that one of her biggest points was the Magic Mobile. With Zane, it went faster than normal. However this point was mute being that she along with Team Natsu, Bisca, and Levy found the hard way that Zane and also Sly liked to go really fast. "Well since everyone is here, I'll tell you all about me but take a seat. It's a really long story." said Zane. Sly nodded.
Most of the wizards there being that they pulled up seats from various benches and stools throughout the guild hall while others stood. Everyone was gathered around two people aka Sly and Zane. "First off, we didn't lie about being from Columbia. It isn't on Earthland but on Earth. Columbia is another name for the United States of America. Me and Sly come from Cypress Park, Florida. Florida is just one of the fifty states of America." said Zane.
Gray said,"Hold on. You're from a place called the United States of America or do you come from Florida?". "Both. Even after the Earth decided to become one planet for the Omniverse Council, we allow the countries to keep their names. The USA is a group of fifty states being that Florida just one on them. My dimension is actually quite simple compared to the more complicated ones but I can understand while you're confused." said Zane.
A moment of silent followed before there was a collective "WHAT?!" from the guild hall being that Natsu laughed. "Okay. That was funny Zane." said Natsu. "Natsu. He and I aren't joking around. We are pretty serious and for Zane, that's rare." said Sly with Zane nodding in agreement. The guild knew that Zane was never serious being that all of them showed confused looks being that none of them didn't understand it.
Jet said with a very confused tone and he was very much shocked,"Hold on. You're serious?". Zane nodded as Sly said,"Zane. Get the folders.". "And you said it was a dumb idea." said Zane. "I thought because of Lucy's magic, they would be able to understand it but I was wrong. Sorry for me having faith in others." said Sly. Zane soon pulled out several manila folders from his brown bag being that with his super speed, he gave each member a folder before they could say anything.
Zane soon began his story by telling the guild of the Multiverse Theory being that there is an infinity amount of dimensions each with a different outcome and reality being that the Omniverse basically proves the Multiverse Theory. "If you're confused about what I'm talking about, read the folders that were given to you. I handmade them to make it simple for you guys because well, this isn't the most easy thing to understand." said Zane.
Zane soon explained that Fiore and all of Earthland is just one of these alternate universes being that it's the boonies. This caused every jaw in the building to hit the floor upon hearing this. Sly soon explained that in the Prime Dimension, magic or Animus isn't used often being that his world is more technologically advanced than in this one. Zane briefly went into his abilities being that Sly had to stop him from pretty going overboard.
Even with the amount that Zane told them, everyone in the guild knew that Zane was pretty much the strongest being in their dimension being that Zane soon explained how they wouldn't know about the Omniverse or other dimension. It was mainly due to the fact that most beings in the Omniverse tend to stay away from the boonies due to them being less advanced than other dimension. Zane could tell that everyone was trying to process this.
He could understand why being that he was going to wait explain his mission. They were all pretty much shocked by how many information bombs that Zane dropped on them being that none of them including Erza didn't know what to say or think being that Cana broke the silence. "Okay. That was a long and really complicated story." said Cana. "So why did you come here Zane?" said Mira. "For work reasons." said Zane.
He soon pulled a small black rectangular object and held out in front of him. "What's that? Is that a piece of tech from your Dimension?" said Levy. She along with Master understood it slightly better than the rest of the guild. She was thankful for the folder being that she was going to take a deeper look at it later and ask him questions. "Yep. This is my badge. I'm a member of the group known as the Alliance. We're like a much bigger Magic Council except we're not cowards." said Zane.
The badge itself is the size of a normal wallet being that it was made of soft, black leather. In the direct center of the badge, there is a shiny gold emblem of a pair of draconian wings attached to a pentagon shaped shield. Behind the shield, there are two crossed katanas with the blade tips being pointed downwards at a perfect 45 degree angle. Upon further look, the word "Protector of the Omniverse" was etched into the edge of the shield.
In the center of the shield, there is an silver Ouroboros and in the center of the dragon/akostar eating its own tail, there is a bright silver A that constantly glow. Zane slowly opened it like a book being that the inside were bare except for the simple black reflective screen attached to the right side. "This is a communicator/mini computer. He soon moved his left gloved hand ,being that it was holding the badge, parallel to his left eye. "I'm sure that none of you will be access this since all of you don't my DNA signature being that it's really unique." said Zane. A bright white beam of light from the center of the screen shone directly into Zane's pupil. The beam soon scanned the entire surface of the eye. A friendly beep was heard as the light disappeared and Zane soon held the badge in front of him.
A hologram image soon appeared being that the crowd soon saw a side by side, head shot picture of Zane and Legion Zero. In both pictures, Zane was smiling. Directly next to the two pictures, there was basic information such as his full name, hair and eye color, day of birth, powers and abilities, and the big one awards and accommodations. Zane soon touched the latter one being that a large list of text soon appeared as Levy began read it.
Levy said,"Zane, I guess you've done a lot in nine hundred and ninety nine years.". As she said that sentence, her eyes went wide. Zane smugly smiled as Makarov shouted,"You're over nine hundred years old!". Zane smiled as he said,"Yep. I just look young for my age and trust me, I've done a lot of things that would make the higher ups really mad at little old me. By the way, I'm still going to call you old man Makarov because who would believe that I'm over a hundred?".
The guild was shocked by this as Erza said,"Hold on. I thought that you said that you were a year younger.". "He did but he had his birthday a few days ago." said Sly. "When? And why didn't you tell us?" said Mira. "I was born July 11th, 2001 in the Prime Dimension. I don't like my birthday for very personal reasons. Men start to worry about their age at 30, women worry at 25, and Eazairvian don't care. As a Eazairvian, I don't care so don't remind me of my age or throw me a party." said Zane.
Makarov said,"So Zane. Astral Form was you accessing your Eazairvian DNA correct?". "Yes and no old man. An Eazairvian is basically god being that the other thing that can counter an Eazairvian is a Qlakrik or another Eazairvian." said Zane. The guild was seemingly frozen in shock being that Zane chuckled. He soon began to explain the main species of the Omniverse only with the core concepts in mind. Once he finished talking, he sat down being that he relaxed and put his badge away.
As the guild took in the information, Sly said,"Wow Zane. That took less time that I thought but we did made information packets.". "Yeah but I totally get my lecturing from Leif." said Zane. Lucy was the first one to recovered as she said,"So Zane. Do you have a map of this Omniverse? Is it in the folder?". "It is but I have a faster way to get it." said Zane, holding his watch in front of him. "So Athena. Do you mind open up the most basic and generic Omniverse map?" said Zane.
He was saying this to his watch being that the guild would be confused by this but after all of this, it was oddly normal. "Will do Zane." said Athena's voice. A holographic map soon appeared being that everyone saw a single sphere in the center of two rings being that both rings also had spheres on them being the sphere in the center was much bigger than all of the other spheres. "The biggest sphere is where I'm from. It was designated as the origin of the Omniverse by the creator." said Zane.
He was pointing to the biggest sphere as Erza said,"So earlier, you mentioned that our dimension is in the boonies? Where is that on your map?". Zane soon sprouted a tendril from his back as he pointed to a sphere in the outer ring. "Right about here Erza. Give or take. Like with my added watch, new dimensions are born every day and minute since a new dimension is born based off a single action of a being. It's quite confusing so I brought up the most basic and generic map." said Zane.
Each member of the guild looked right at him being that they were going to ask a lot of questions with Zane knowing this well. Zane soon released a bit of his energy out of his body being that the entire guild was silenced. "One at a time. Zane doesn't like to be asked a lot of questions. He actually hates reporters the most because they're quite nosey in his personal life. Trust me, you don't want be a nosey reporter around Zane." said Sly. "So what is your real job?" said Levy.
Zane said,"I'm a superhero. I've protected and served Cypress Park for many years but I'm an agent of the Alliance as well.". "So you really are a superhero, I guess that explains your blond hair pretty well." said Gray. "Correct. When I was about your guys's age, I was worried about my family and friends being hurt. As a hero, you'll attract the attention of villains by stopping their attempts of doing evil." said Zane with a smile.
He sighed as he said,"I had to mask who I really was until a certain event that changed the Earth as we know. I'm not going to say what it was but it was pretty big.". Yep. No spoiling that. You're going to have wait on that. "So you mentioned that you came to our dimension because I've been missing something in my life and well, did you find that? And why did you leave?" said Lucy. "I think we did and the reason why we left. Zane'll answer that." said Sly.
Zane slowly nodded as he said,"Lets just saw that I'll need to give some context behind my arrival to this dimension.". Despite not showing it, he was quite impressed with the amount of kindness that they've shown the two complete strangers. It's rather naive but it warmed his cold, mechanical black essence. Makarov noticed the grave expression on Zane's face as he said with understanding in his voice,'You don't have to tell them this Zane. I noticed how hard this was for you before.".
Zane said,"If I want them to truly understand me, they'll need the context behind one of my greatest enemies and what she did to me that changed me into the asshole that you see here today.". "Who are you talking about that?" said Cana. "The person who changes Zane's life is Xona aka the Devotion Idol and the right hand of Skull Plague." said Sly. The map of the Omniverse disappeared as in its place, a mug shot/bounty post soon appeared.
It soon showed a blue skin beauty being that her body gained some muscles but she didn't look like a bodybuilder. She made sure of that. Her stomach is toned and her shoulders are now quite broad. Her legs are long and very muscular being that her curves are very voluptuous. Her violet eyes had a white iris. Her lips are black. Her long white hair is in a high sleek ponytail with a black helmet/crown over her head.
She was wearing something that was both more fitting to battle and more seductive, showing off her very voluptuous body and well-muscled body. She wears a black shirt that shows off the prominence of her chest and navel just like before but she wears gray body armor, covering her stomach. This armor still show off her toned stomach. She wears a white mini skirt with gray body armor/tights that outline the lower half of her body. She wears gold heels that look rather sharp.
Under the post, it said,"Xona, the Devotion Idol also known as the right hand of Skull Plague. She's currently appended in Blacktomb Detention Center. She has attempted the Apocageddon and being the creator of the spell Ceremony of the Skull.". "So what is the Apocageddon and the Ceremony of the Skull?" said Happy with a fish in hand. "Happy. Both of them involve destroy the fabric of space and time. The latter was a more creation of hers." said Sly.
Zane was currently clenching his right fist hard being that his stingers were come out and piercing his skin. "What do you mean by this Sly?" said Mira. She could tell that this was bothering Zane a lot and was slightly impressed. From she knew about Zane, she could tell that he was a very emotional person. "Well, it's a long story being that the Ceremony of the Skull came into being one hundred and twenty years ago." said Zane.
He took a deep breath as he said,"We had just captured Xona after she was trying to complete the Apocageddon. She was determined to cause destruction across the Omniverse being that she wanted to complete her plan no matter what. Several agents from the Alliance were sent to arrest her and after a lot of causalities, she was placed in a dimension was made for her.". "This dimension had little to no Impulse inside of it being that Xona's Carnal is quite strong so this was the only way." said Sly.
Zane said,"However, she managed to escape. She escape her prison by her gathering enough Impulse in order to create a new spell aka Ceremony of the Skull from the ground up in order to achieve this goal of escape. This spell was powered by bodily sacrifices.". His right hand soon began to bleeding out Zane's candy syrup blood, showing everyone saw how mad Zane was. Everyone in the guild was listening to Zane closely being that they all figured out what happened.
Erza said,"Bodily sacrifices Zane? So are you saying that she escaped into the Omniverse by killing people?". "Yes. When we heard this, me and one of my closest friends were chosen to investigate and hopefully find any survivors. However, no a single one were there. It was mass genocide being that the dimension was devoid of life." said Zane. Whenever he thought of that moment, his anger was increasing being that she would kill an entire dimension just to complete Skull Plague's goal.
He knew that nothing should phase him at this point but he was an emotional person. "At the start of my career as Legion Zero, Xona created the super villains Herald and Hunter by tricking them or playing into their sins into getting rid of me. I've been the biggest thorn in many peoples's side mainly in those trying to create the Apocageddon. I've been them all done but their crimes are still a stain upon the Omniverse's grand and massive history" said Zane.
Zane looked serious as he said,"I was given permission by five of the Omniverse's most famous and powerful beings in enjoying my life from here on and I'm going to do just that. I don't care what any of you will say. I was able to forgive my evil counterpart after what he did to me. This is because I could seeing myself turning into him. Criminals like Xona are people who I can never forgive.". The guild was quiet as Sly said,"Zane. I'll stay here to help Master explain. Go calm down.".
Zane said,"Thanks Zane.". He soon zoomed out of the guild. It was like a blur zipped out of there, causing any unlucky citizens in his path to spin in place for a bit and then fall down in a dizzy heap. Everyone was confused at what was really going on. "Okay. That was something." said Gray. "He has a strong resolve Gray. I was actually happy here to hear about Xona being placed in jail and has no chance of leaving. Time for another story." said Sly.
Night soon approached Magnolia being that the sun was over the horizon being that the sky was soon an assortment of orange, red, and yellow. Outside of Magnolia, Zane was scaled up a mountain being that he soon came to a halt at a dead end along a steep cliff. Zane could see Magnolia and the large lake could be seen in the distance. The sun and the warm colored sky gave the scene a beautiful and romantic feeling to it. Zane would make sure to come here if he gets a girlfriend.
Maybe with Mira if she accepts him. He sat down on the ground being that he soon decided to head into Elysian. He pressed the palms of his hands together with his fingertips pointing up toward the sky. It's pressed together firmly and evenly. This is very much a Namaste greeting or Anjali Mudra hand gesture. He could also do this in the Brumese posture. Zane soon found himself in Elysian as he could tell this by the blood red hallway.
He soon saw Kane and Sivarth being that Kane said,"Sup. You're feeling like crap right?". "Yeah. It has been over a hundred years but even now, I still can't forgive myself about what happened. I know that I have no control of her actions but still. I should have taken care of her back then because none of this would happened." said Zane. "You're not wrong but you're not right either Zane. If you ended Xona back then, someone would have followed in her footsteps." said Sivarth.
Kane nodded as he said,"Them's the break of our reality. So what are you going to do?". "I am going to enjoy my life and whatever happens. I'll handle it." said Zane. He had calmed down being that after hearing about what happened to that dimension, Zane always got angry. "You've matured a lot but to me Zane, you're still a brat." said Sivarth. "And you're an overgrown lizard to him and me." said Kane. Zane smiled as he said,"Thanks.". He was soon gone.
Back in the real world, Zane opened his eyes to watched the setting sun along the horizon being that the warm colors in the sky reflected off the big lake. "This dimension is truly beautiful and without any kind of malfeasance from outside forces. I just want to protect this dimension from true evil like Xona so are you guys with me?" said Zane. "You know it man!" said Cole. "He's correct. All of us on Team Legion Zero is with you hundred percent." said Athena.
Twilight said,"So since the guild knows about you guys now, will you allow them to hear you?". "If it is needed. I doubt they could handle Cole." said Athena. "Yeah! Hey!" said Cole. Zane chuckled as he looked toward Magnolia being that he could see the small buildings, the Cathedral, and the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. He looked mainly at the guild hall being that he knew that this place was quite basic in terms of what he has seen and been through but it did give him a warm feeling.
Cole said,"So are you going to join Team Natsu? I mean despite Prude Knight and Triple B, you did make a good team. It brings me back memories of you and your friends.". "Same except for the fact that Happy and Lucy didn't do much. Everyone on your team was a valid member plus any job here won't be like the jobs that you have with them." said Athena. "I'm sure Zane wants to fight Erza because of her and him being similar in many ways." said Twilight.
Zane smiled as he said,"Breaking her will be so much fun but I'm sure that she'll grow from her loss I hope. I may be able to see the future but I don't know. I like to see life as it's going on rather than how it's going to happen. Those idiots in Fairy Tail are just the cure that I need to become my normal self for sure.". "But you're still going to be a jerk right?" said Cole. "It's Zane Cole. The answer is quite obvious if given Zane." said Athena. Zane nodded as he soon jumped off the cliff.
Any person who saw this action would think that Zane was ending his life but Zane wouldn't end his life just like that. He thought that killing himself to escape the pain is a coward's way out being that he wasn't like that. He did help in preventing suicides back home but it always happened no matter what he did to try and stop it. Before crashing into the ground, Zane transformed into Phoenix Form. He looks to be an avian humanoid hybrid very much like Raptor Form.
He's able to do this in Zero but tends not to because well, he just uses his other ways. I'm also not a grammar expert being that I've wrote down the wrong form of ruin or and runes. You noticed that kind of stuff upon revisiting a story for an old form design. I'm not perfect in any way being that I'll fully aware of my problems. Lets end this with one more thing. The characters such as Lucy or Gray will wear outfits that they do in that arc. Just wanted to say that because I ain't a fashion expert.
Narrator P.O.V.
A week later after the event with the Osmdroid and the rematch between Natsu and Zane, Sly and Zane was currently at their home being that Zane had just finished cleaning up and was working on something in his lab. The indoor of the house known Omniversal Chateau was interesting being that Zane used his forms and knowledge to make it seem bigger than it actually is. Like Zenith Tower, it's run primarily by Athena and Cole and it has a really advanced security system.
The system has been constantly modified and updated over time being that according to his family and friends but mainly the latter than the former, he's being a paranoid freak. To basically put it, the system activates upon an intruder entering. This goes off by two lighthouse towers soon appear from the main yard being that the lights a violet color and spins around like one and makes an loud alarm sound. He also has a childproofing mode for younger children.
He often wonders if he should have the childproofing on for Fairy Tail being that most of them act like children in adults body. He decided on yes after thinking about it. The house has three floors and three large basements. The first three floors have always been open to the public or anyone visiting while the three basements are closed off for security reasons. It has thirty plus rooms to house guests with them mainly staying on the first floor.
The second floor of the house is for Zane and the third floor is for the Midnight Bird. All of the bedrooms ,for all shapes and sizes, have a shower, bath, large bed and closet, and a nice sized TV and desk. The first and second hallway are connected by a set of stairs which is straightforward upon entering the house. To the left of the stairs, there is the living room/kitchen/game room and to the right of the stairs, the guest rooms, laundry, and stairway to the basement.
The living room and Zane’s room have the biggest TVs with all of them connected to a TV service that works in all dimensions. Zane’s tech based forms set this up. The living room has two couches parallel to each other and a large coffee table in the middle of the couches. There is a bookshelf in the left and right corner of the room. The couches have small tables on either side of them with highly advanced lamps on them.
There is a glass sliding door that lead out to the patio and backyard. His fireplace is made out of brick in the center of the living room with the TV over it. The couches and chairs is for all guests of shapes and sizes. The patio has an incredible view to it. There is a storeroom that contained several supplies and equipment just in case of emergencies. There is a game room. Nearby the living room, there is a kitchen.
It’s highly advanced even in the future, always has food and drinks for Zane or guests, a brick oven stove with a microwave above it, and a nice and big dining table. The kitchen has a full fridge and freezer, several appliances for cooking, pantries, a large table with a max of twelve seats and a bar counter with four bar stools. There is also a few windows that give a good view of wherever the house is.
To the right of the living room, there is a hallway with four rooms and the door to the basements. The doors on the right side of the corridor consisted of a small guest room on the end, a quest bathroom in the middle, and a door to the basements below which are relatively filled. On the right side of the corridor, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. This is where guests stay since the second floor is for Zane and the third floor is for the Midnight Bird.
The second floor is home to Zane’s own personal bedroom being that it has changed slightly in the future being the same as Zero Episode 102, later Zero Episode 108. When he was staying in Arcadia U’s dorms, he was on the 5th floor. The computers, gadgets, and machines are extremely retro-futuristic looking and constantly working. It has a meeting room which he uses mainly for talking with the Alliance about missions that can’t be talked about through his watch.
It's for privacy reasons and it was also to look way more professional. Zane’s room has a large hot tub with it being a large pool. The basements consist of the gym/training area, pool/entertainment floor, and Zane’s lab or garage. The training area is large. There is changing rooms for male and female users plus a large indoor bath which is a hot spring/bath house. It has a refrigerator with several different flavors of drinks.
One of the basement has an heated indoor swimming pool which is really big for Zane’s water based forms to practice. The final basement is his garage/lab. Zane spends his time working on new gadgets, the home defense system, or his vehicles. He also set this place up with his smartest forms being that it’s extremely highly tech. There is massive library filled with different books from the Omniverse.
He has a garden decorated with flower plots being that he has several different types of objects from the Omniverse which is used for his potions and other stuff. Some other things are that it can double as a bunker for any threat. To access the different floors, Zane thinks about it. He later gives others access this but it’s very selective. He also has a movie theater with several snack stands. His garage is huge that can fit a tank and several other cars inside of it.
The garage/lab floor is the biggest one hands down no question. This house is seen as a masterpiece being that Zane loves it a lot and it's a sign of his handwork. The place is really lonely at the moment being that Zane was currently in his basement, working on a invention of his. Sly was watching her partner work on something being that he was currently at a large work table. Zane was currently in Brain Form ,aka one of Zane's smartest Forms, in his Frog Form. He's a foot tall.
He has gray skin with amphibian like features. His eyes had triangular emerald green pupils, vertical eyelids, and yellow sclera. His skin is covered in warts ,being barely visible, on his body compared to a normal frog or toad. He has gills on the sides of his neck. He wears a black jumpsuit with a emerald green stripe goes down the middle of his chest. It's connects to the black rings around his neck being that it works like a collar, and his waist. It goes to a black belt with a gold buckle.
He wears toeless black boots with green cuffs and he wears a pair of black finger less gloves with a gold pyramid on the back. His neck looks longer than normal frogs. His hands have four fingers. His legs looked normal for his size. He had a muscular frame with a well defined jawline. Sly wanted to go on a job but Zane pretty much insisted on finished up an invention that it was for Levy being that Sly could tell that Zane had a crush on her. It was obvious when Zane liked someone.
It looked to be a black and steel gray gun of some kind. It looked to be either a flintlock, pistol, or a rifle in terms of its shape. In the center of the weapon, the Dragon Slayer Lacrima ,that he obtained in Chapter 4 from Cyrus, implanted as a power source. He also had his superhero logo "LZ" was in the center of the weapon. This was a variation of the Swiss Army Plasma Knife which was created by his mother in order to allow normal humans to fight meta humans.
However, Zane didn't have access to the tech to create the original Swiss Army Plasma Knife at the moment. He decided to use Ethernano and needed a conduit. Zane was making this weapon for Levy because she asked him to. She knew clearly well that on her team Shadow Gear, she couldn't let Droy and Jet do all of the fighting while she did nothing. Zane stopped as he said in a high pitched yet deep voice,"And the Swiss Army Ethernano Knife/Ethernano Swiss Army Knife is complete!".
Sly loudly sighed as she said,"I know that you hate being rushed mainly in Brain Form but most people in the Omniverse don't have the time to waste on little things.". "You're right but I don't want this to misfire or not fit Levy. You and I both know that in a battlefield, a very small mistake can lead to your death." said Zane. "Yeah but you're being paranoid." said Sly as the chibi dragon shrugged her shoulders.
Zane soon hopped off the table being that during the hop, he turned into his Human Form. You may think that I should wait until Zero to show this off but I'm lazy and a writer that writes in the moment rather than thinking several steps ahead. He grows to 4 foot 11 being almost 5 foot tall. He’s a short boy with him looking more frog than human. His skin is still gray with him having a muscular frame and well defined jawline for his age.
He has dark teal colored hair with it being slightly messy and goes down to his chin. His eyes are the same, his skin is still covered in warts, and gills on the sides of his neck. He has three strips ,with it being black, emerald green, and red, from the stop and bottom of his eyes and forehead around his eyes. He wears a pair of black sunglasses and carries a large kiseru pipe which is always lit and he smokes even under water. His mouth is slightly bigger than before.
His legs and neck are normal. He grows an extra finger. He wears a black skin-tight jumpsuit that covers his chest, shoulders, and his thighs. His jumpsuit has a black collar around his neck. He wears bandages and mesh armor wrapped around his arms and legs. He wears silver arm-guards, leg-guards, and samurai pauldrons. He wears a massive dosu-blade/tanto at his hip. He wears a large black happi vest with a white sash.
He still wears his toeless black boots with green cuffs and he wears a pair of black fingerless gloves with a gold pyramid on the back of the gloves. "Athena. Activate target 189." said Zane, holding the gun. It was aimed right at a target that appeared from nowhere. He pulled the trigger being that it soon fired out a red energy bullet toward the center of the target. It hit the target perfectly as Sly said with a smirk,"So I know that you have perfect aim but with Levy?".
Zane said as he placed the weapon down on the table,"Don't worry. This weapon has an auto-lock on feature plus with the help of those two Gun Wizards, She'll be a true fighter in no time plus the instructions are super simple.". Before Zane could deactivated the form, Cole's voice soon said,"We have an intruder heading toward the house Sly and Zane. It's your council friend or a friend with benefits.". "Okay. Do you mind if we're a little late to visit the guild?" said Zane.
Sly floated over to him being that she was holding Zane's brown bag. "A little but they're going to be more crazy than normal so lets go see Ultear." said Sly. Zane nodded being that he soon placed the weapon ,in its standby form which is a normal looking Swiss army knife, in his brown bag. "You do know that today is the day that Team Natsu can finally go back to work so it's to be expected Sly. Direct Transmission." said Zane as the two were soon gone.
Before we get to that scene between councilwoman and superhero, lets show the reaction to Fairy Tail learning about the truth about Sly and Zane. This however won't spoil any events that I have planned for Zero being everything will be keep vague. I don't want to spoil what I have planned for the future being that well, I haven't completely come up with it myself. I have it mostly planned out but well, I'm working out the details and some other events. Anyway, lets begin.
Flashback Narrator P.O.V.
The day after Zane's fight with Natsu, the entire guild ,except for the obvious Gildarts and Mystogan plus Laxus and his group known as the Thunder Legion, were currently waiting to hear about the truth about Sly and Zane. All of them heard the story about what happened in Hargeon involving the Osmdroid. They were slightly shocked to see that it didn't require force from Erza to make Zane talk being that he said it was better to tell them the truth before things got too serious.
Zane stood in front of the bar with a serious look. Sly was nearby him being that Zane ,like most Eazairvian, tend to go too in depth on a topic. For Zane, it was about the Omniverse or anything to do with powers. She was there to simplify for Zane. Erza was slightly impressed with how Zane was doing this being that from the first time they met, she could tell that Zane wasn't from here being that she had concentrated on Zane's "magic" power during the whole Eisenwald fiasco.
It wasn't magic to her being that she had a longer than normal life of evidence being that one of her biggest points was the Magic Mobile. With Zane, it went faster than normal. However this point was mute being that she along with Team Natsu, Bisca, and Levy found the hard way that Zane and also Sly liked to go really fast. "Well since everyone is here, I'll tell you all about me but take a seat. It's a really long story." said Zane. Sly nodded.
Most of the wizards there being that they pulled up seats from various benches and stools throughout the guild hall while others stood. Everyone was gathered around two people aka Sly and Zane. "First off, we didn't lie about being from Columbia. It isn't on Earthland but on Earth. Columbia is another name for the United States of America. Me and Sly come from Cypress Park, Florida. Florida is just one of the fifty states of America." said Zane.
Gray said,"Hold on. You're from a place called the United States of America or do you come from Florida?". "Both. Even after the Earth decided to become one planet for the Omniverse Council, we allow the countries to keep their names. The USA is a group of fifty states being that Florida just one on them. My dimension is actually quite simple compared to the more complicated ones but I can understand while you're confused." said Zane.
A moment of silent followed before there was a collective "WHAT?!" from the guild hall being that Natsu laughed. "Okay. That was funny Zane." said Natsu. "Natsu. He and I aren't joking around. We are pretty serious and for Zane, that's rare." said Sly with Zane nodding in agreement. The guild knew that Zane was never serious being that all of them showed confused looks being that none of them didn't understand it.
Jet said with a very confused tone and he was very much shocked,"Hold on. You're serious?". Zane nodded as Sly said,"Zane. Get the folders.". "And you said it was a dumb idea." said Zane. "I thought because of Lucy's magic, they would be able to understand it but I was wrong. Sorry for me having faith in others." said Sly. Zane soon pulled out several manila folders from his brown bag being that with his super speed, he gave each member a folder before they could say anything.
Zane soon began his story by telling the guild of the Multiverse Theory being that there is an infinity amount of dimensions each with a different outcome and reality being that the Omniverse basically proves the Multiverse Theory. "If you're confused about what I'm talking about, read the folders that were given to you. I handmade them to make it simple for you guys because well, this isn't the most easy thing to understand." said Zane.
Zane soon explained that Fiore and all of Earthland is just one of these alternate universes being that it's the boonies. This caused every jaw in the building to hit the floor upon hearing this. Sly soon explained that in the Prime Dimension, magic or Animus isn't used often being that his world is more technologically advanced than in this one. Zane briefly went into his abilities being that Sly had to stop him from pretty going overboard.
Even with the amount that Zane told them, everyone in the guild knew that Zane was pretty much the strongest being in their dimension being that Zane soon explained how they wouldn't know about the Omniverse or other dimension. It was mainly due to the fact that most beings in the Omniverse tend to stay away from the boonies due to them being less advanced than other dimension. Zane could tell that everyone was trying to process this.
He could understand why being that he was going to wait explain his mission. They were all pretty much shocked by how many information bombs that Zane dropped on them being that none of them including Erza didn't know what to say or think being that Cana broke the silence. "Okay. That was a long and really complicated story." said Cana. "So why did you come here Zane?" said Mira. "For work reasons." said Zane.
He soon pulled a small black rectangular object and held out in front of him. "What's that? Is that a piece of tech from your Dimension?" said Levy. She along with Master understood it slightly better than the rest of the guild. She was thankful for the folder being that she was going to take a deeper look at it later and ask him questions. "Yep. This is my badge. I'm a member of the group known as the Alliance. We're like a much bigger Magic Council except we're not cowards." said Zane.
The badge itself is the size of a normal wallet being that it was made of soft, black leather. In the direct center of the badge, there is a shiny gold emblem of a pair of draconian wings attached to a pentagon shaped shield. Behind the shield, there are two crossed katanas with the blade tips being pointed downwards at a perfect 45 degree angle. Upon further look, the word "Protector of the Omniverse" was etched into the edge of the shield.
In the center of the shield, there is an silver Ouroboros and in the center of the dragon/akostar eating its own tail, there is a bright silver A that constantly glow. Zane slowly opened it like a book being that the inside were bare except for the simple black reflective screen attached to the right side. "This is a communicator/mini computer. If I need anything in the Alliance's database, I can just touch it. I can do this with my watch but watch this." said Zane.
He soon moved his left gloved hand ,being that it was holding the badge, parallel to his left eye. "I'm sure that none of you will be access this since all of you don't my DNA signature being that it's really unique." said Zane. A bright white beam of light from the center of the screen shone directly into Zane's pupil. The beam soon scanned the entire surface of the eye. A friendly beep was heard as the light disappeared and Zane soon held the badge in front of him.
A hologram image soon appeared being that the crowd soon saw a side by side, head shot picture of Zane and Legion Zero. In both pictures, Zane was smiling. Directly next to the two pictures, there was basic information such as his full name, hair and eye color, day of birth, powers and abilities, and the big one awards and accommodations. Zane soon touched the latter one being that a large list of text soon appeared as Levy began read it.
Levy said,"Zane, I guess you've done a lot in nine hundred and ninety nine years.". As she said that sentence, her eyes went wide. Zane smugly smiled as Makarov shouted,"You're over nine hundred years old!". Zane smiled as he said,"Yep. I just look young for my age and trust me, I've done a lot of things that would make the higher ups really mad at little old me. By the way, I'm still going to call you old man Makarov because who would believe that I'm over a hundred?".
The guild was shocked by this as Erza said,"Hold on. I thought that you said that you were a year younger.". "He did but he had his birthday a few days ago." said Sly. "When? And why didn't you tell us?" said Mira. "I was born July 11th, 2001 in the Prime Dimension. I don't like my birthday for very personal reasons. Men start to worry about their age at 30, women worry at 25, and Eazairvian don't care. As a Eazairvian, I don't care so don't remind me of my age or throw me a party." said Zane.
Makarov said,"So Zane. Astral Form was you accessing your Eazairvian DNA correct?". "Yes and no old man. An Eazairvian is basically god being that the other thing that can counter an Eazairvian is a Qlakrik or another Eazairvian." said Zane. The guild was seemingly frozen in shock being that Zane chuckled. He soon began to explain the main species of the Omniverse only with the core concepts in mind. Once he finished talking, he sat down being that he relaxed and put his badge away.
As the guild took in the information, Sly said,"Wow Zane. That took less time that I thought but we did made information packets.". "Yeah but I totally get my lecturing from Leif." said Zane. Lucy was the first one to recovered as she said,"So Zane. Do you have a map of this Omniverse? Is it in the folder?". "It is but I have a faster way to get it." said Zane, holding his watch in front of him. "So Athena. Do you mind open up the most basic and generic Omniverse map?" said Zane.
He was saying this to his watch being that the guild would be confused by this but after all of this, it was oddly normal. "Will do Zane." said Athena's voice. A holographic map soon appeared being that everyone saw a single sphere in the center of two rings being that both rings also had spheres on them being the sphere in the center was much bigger than all of the other spheres. "The biggest sphere is where I'm from. It was designated as the origin of the Omniverse by the creator." said Zane.
He was pointing to the biggest sphere as Erza said,"So earlier, you mentioned that our dimension is in the boonies? Where is that on your map?". Zane soon sprouted a tendril from his back as he pointed to a sphere in the outer ring. "Right about here Erza. Give or take. Like with my added watch, new dimensions are born every day and minute since a new dimension is born based off a single action of a being. It's quite confusing so I brought up the most basic and generic map." said Zane.
Each member of the guild looked right at him being that they were going to ask a lot of questions with Zane knowing this well. Zane soon released a bit of his energy out of his body being that the entire guild was silenced. "One at a time. Zane doesn't like to be asked a lot of questions. He actually hates reporters the most because they're quite nosey in his personal life. Trust me, you don't want be a nosey reporter around Zane." said Sly. "So what is your real job?" said Levy.
Zane said,"I'm a superhero. I've protected and served Cypress Park for many years but I'm an agent of the Alliance as well.". "So you really are a superhero, I guess that explains your blond hair pretty well." said Gray. "Correct. When I was about your guys's age, I was worried about my family and friends being hurt. As a hero, you'll attract the attention of villains by stopping their attempts of doing evil." said Zane with a smile.
He sighed as he said,"I had to mask who I really was until a certain event that changed the Earth as we know. I'm not going to say what it was but it was pretty big.". Yep. No spoiling that. You're going to have wait on that. "So you mentioned that you came to our dimension because I've been missing something in my life and well, did you find that? And why did you leave?" said Lucy. "I think we did and the reason why we left. Zane'll answer that." said Sly.
Zane slowly nodded as he said,"Lets just saw that I'll need to give some context behind my arrival to this dimension.". Despite not showing it, he was quite impressed with the amount of kindness that they've shown the two complete strangers. It's rather naive but it warmed his cold, mechanical black essence. Makarov noticed the grave expression on Zane's face as he said with understanding in his voice,'You don't have to tell them this Zane. I noticed how hard this was for you before.".
Zane said,"If I want them to truly understand me, they'll need the context behind one of my greatest enemies and what she did to me that changed me into the asshole that you see here today.". "Who are you talking about that?" said Cana. "The person who changes Zane's life is Xona aka the Devotion Idol and the right hand of Skull Plague." said Sly. The map of the Omniverse disappeared as in its place, a mug shot/bounty post soon appeared.
It soon showed a blue skin beauty being that her body gained some muscles but she didn't look like a bodybuilder. She made sure of that. Her stomach is toned and her shoulders are now quite broad. Her legs are long and very muscular being that her curves are very voluptuous. Her violet eyes had a white iris. Her lips are black. Her long white hair is in a high sleek ponytail with a black helmet/crown over her head.
She was wearing something that was both more fitting to battle and more seductive, showing off her very voluptuous body and well-muscled body. She wears a black shirt that shows off the prominence of her chest and navel just like before but she wears gray body armor, covering her stomach. This armor still show off her toned stomach. She wears a white mini skirt with gray body armor/tights that outline the lower half of her body. She wears gold heels that look rather sharp.
Under the post, it said,"Xona, the Devotion Idol also known as the right hand of Skull Plague. She's currently appended in Blacktomb Detention Center. She has attempted the Apocageddon and being the creator of the spell Ceremony of the Skull.". "So what is the Apocageddon and the Ceremony of the Skull?" said Happy with a fish in hand. "Happy. Both of them involve destroy the fabric of space and time. The latter was a more creation of hers." said Sly.
Zane was currently clenching his right fist hard being that his stingers were come out and piercing his skin. "What do you mean by this Sly?" said Mira. She could tell that this was bothering Zane a lot and was slightly impressed. From she knew about Zane, she could tell that he was a very emotional person. "Well, it's a long story being that the Ceremony of the Skull came into being one hundred and twenty years ago." said Zane.
He took a deep breath as he said,"We had just captured Xona after she was trying to complete the Apocageddon. She was determined to cause destruction across the Omniverse being that she wanted to complete her plan no matter what. Several agents from the Alliance were sent to arrest her and after a lot of causalities, she was placed in a dimension was made for her.". "This dimension had little to no Impulse inside of it being that Xona's Carnal is quite strong so this was the only way." said Sly.
Zane said,"However, she managed to escape. She escape her prison by her gathering enough Impulse in order to create a new spell aka Ceremony of the Skull from the ground up in order to achieve this goal of escape. This spell was powered by bodily sacrifices.". His right hand soon began to bleeding out Zane's candy syrup blood, showing everyone saw how mad Zane was. Everyone in the guild was listening to Zane closely being that they all figured out what happened.
Erza said,"Bodily sacrifices Zane? So are you saying that she escaped into the Omniverse by killing people?". "Yes. When we heard this, me and one of my closest friends were chosen to investigate and hopefully find any survivors. However, no a single one were there. It was mass genocide being that the dimension was devoid of life." said Zane. Whenever he thought of that moment, his anger was increasing being that she would kill an entire dimension just to complete Skull Plague's goal.
He knew that nothing should phase him at this point but he was an emotional person. "At the start of my career as Legion Zero, Xona created the super villains Herald and Hunter by tricking them or playing into their sins into getting rid of me. I've been the biggest thorn in many peoples's side mainly in those trying to create the Apocageddon. I've been them all done but their crimes are still a stain upon the Omniverse's grand and massive history" said Zane.
Zane looked serious as he said,"I was given permission by five of the Omniverse's most famous and powerful beings in enjoying my life from here on and I'm going to do just that. I don't care what any of you will say. I was able to forgive my evil counterpart after what he did to me. This is because I could seeing myself turning into him. Criminals like Xona are people who I can never forgive.". The guild was quiet as Sly said,"Zane. I'll stay here to help Master explain. Go calm down.".
Zane said,"Thanks Zane.". He soon zoomed out of the guild. It was like a blur zipped out of there, causing any unlucky citizens in his path to spin in place for a bit and then fall down in a dizzy heap. Everyone was confused at what was really going on. "Okay. That was something." said Gray. "He has a strong resolve Gray. I was actually happy here to hear about Xona being placed in jail and has no chance of leaving. Time for another story." said Sly.
Night soon approached Magnolia being that the sun was over the horizon being that the sky was soon an assortment of orange, red, and yellow. Outside of Magnolia, Zane was scaled up a mountain being that he soon came to a halt at a dead end along a steep cliff. Zane could see Magnolia and the large lake could be seen in the distance. The sun and the warm colored sky gave the scene a beautiful and romantic feeling to it. Zane would make sure to come here if he gets a girlfriend.
Maybe with Mira if she accepts him. He sat down on the ground being that he soon decided to head into Elysian. He pressed the palms of his hands together with his fingertips pointing up toward the sky. It's pressed together firmly and evenly. This is very much a Namaste greeting or Anjali Mudra hand gesture. He could also do this in the Brumese posture. Zane soon found himself in Elysian as he could tell this by the blood red hallway.
He soon saw Kane and Sivarth being that Kane said,"Sup. You're feeling like crap right?". "Yeah. It has been over a hundred years but even now, I still can't forgive myself about what happened. I know that I have no control of her actions but still. I should have taken care of her back then because none of this would happened." said Zane. "You're not wrong but you're not right either Zane. If you ended Xona back then, someone would have followed in her footsteps." said Sivarth.
Kane nodded as he said,"Them's the break of our reality. So what are you going to do?". "I am going to enjoy my life and whatever happens. I'll handle it." said Zane. He had calmed down being that after hearing about what happened to that dimension, Zane always got angry. "You've matured a lot but to me Zane, you're still a brat." said Sivarth. "And you're an overgrown lizard to him and me." said Kane. Zane smiled as he said,"Thanks.". He was soon gone.
Back in the real world, Zane opened his eyes to watched the setting sun along the horizon being that the warm colors in the sky reflected off the big lake. "This dimension is truly beautiful and without any kind of malfeasance from outside forces. I just want to protect this dimension from true evil like Xona so are you guys with me?" said Zane. "You know it man!" said Cole. "He's correct. All of us on Team Legion Zero is with you hundred percent." said Athena.
Twilight said,"So since the guild knows about you guys now, will you allow them to hear you?". "If it is needed. I doubt they could handle Cole." said Athena. "Yeah! Hey!" said Cole. Zane chuckled as he looked toward Magnolia being that he could see the small buildings, the Cathedral, and the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. He looked mainly at the guild hall being that he knew that this place was quite basic in terms of what he has seen and been through but it did give him a warm feeling.
Cole said,"So are you going to join Team Natsu? I mean despite Prude Knight and Triple B, you did make a good team. It brings me back memories of you and your friends.". "Same except for the fact that Happy and Lucy didn't do much. Everyone on your team was a valid member plus any job here won't be like the jobs that you have with them." said Athena. "I'm sure Zane wants to fight Erza because of her and him being similar in many ways." said Twilight.
Zane smiled as he said,"Breaking her will be so much fun but I'm sure that she'll grow from her loss I hope. I may be able to see the future but I don't know. I like to see life as it's going on rather than how it's going to happen. Those idiots in Fairy Tail are just the cure that I need to become my normal self for sure.". "But you're still going to be a jerk right?" said Cole. "It's Zane Cole. The answer is quite obvious if given Zane." said Athena. Zane nodded as he soon jumped off the cliff.
Any person who saw this action would think that Zane was ending his life but Zane wouldn't end his life just like that. He thought that killing himself to escape the pain is a coward's way out being that he wasn't like that. He did help in preventing suicides back home but it always happened no matter what he did to try and stop it. Before crashing into the ground, Zane transformed into Phoenix Form. He looks to be an avian humanoid hybrid very much like Raptor Form.
He has a slim and narrow build compared to Raptor Form. This bird is six feet tall. His upper body looked really strong. His body was covered in feathers and if Zane decides to fly, his body sprouts wings. His plumage is crimson red with his long arms and legs are gray. He has a black and white domino mask around his red triangular eyes. His metallic looking beak is silver and curved slightly. It was giving it an expression that's he's sneering at others. His chest is a gold color.
His feet and hands turned into four gold talons that are in the shape of axes. His feet looked like a Anisodactyl feet being three fingers/toes in the front and one in the back. He has a large feathered tail with these feathers being a gold color. He wears a black ,with a white trim, pauldron over his right shoulder and connected by a black ,with a gold trim, strap over his chest. He wears black ,with a gold and white fiery feather pattern, pants.
He had a pair of crimson red wings coming out of his back. He smiled as he flew toward the Fairy Tail Guild hall being that he turned into fire and it's an orange, red, and yellow color with a tint of emerald green. Zane always loved to fly being that he always felt free when he does this. During the flight, Zane looked down to see everyone and everything below him. It was always a breath taking sight to Zane no matter how old he got.
Whenever he's flying around, he usually does several tricks that would give him some cheering back home. These tricks usually includes some loop de loops while flying down to get closer to the ground. It was always good to make sure that his flying skills are at their best. When he was starting out in his flying career, he crashed a lot being that this happened when learning how to use and master Gravity Drive.
Back at the guild, the duo of Makarov and Sly explained Zane's past. They were all mortified on how evil people can really be but they were mostly empathetic for Zane and how much he's been through in his time. He's been alive for almost a whole millennium being that he has lost a lot in his life but still keeps pushing onward to honor his family and friends. "Wow. I guess Zane is way more than one thinks huh." said Gray.
Lucy said with sympathy from the Cross-Species,"Yeah but he's been through so much despite him being well a dick.". "I'm sure that he'll come back right?" said Natsu sounding worried. No one had a clear answer for him being that Sly soon said,"Zane knows this but he's already killed before and even with the death of true evil, the Omniverse will be at piece but only for a while.". Erza sat the bar with her looking at the counter top with a neutral expression and her mind was elsewhere.
She was thinking about Zane's past being that despite his more rude nature toward others, she could feel that he was hurting. He remembered all of the times that she had threatened Zane's life when he disobey her being that he didn't show a single ounce of fear around her. Ezra knew that everyone in the guild beside a couple feared her and acted at their best around her. Zane on the other hand didn't seem fazed at all.
She was pulled out of the musing being that the main doors of the guild opened up to revealing a living ball of fire being that he flew toward the front of the bar. The ball of fire turned back into the fiery bird aka Zane being that Natsu thought that either the bird or fire looked delicious. "So how did your talk go with them Zane?" said Sly, shocking everyone again. "Yeah Sly. It went well and Natsu. Don't try eating me or else." said Zane with a distinct Spanish accent.

I mean you may be part of the most hated species aka cats to the Alvarez males except me and my kids but here is the thing. We need to work together in teasing Triple B and Prude Knight." said Zane. "I hate to be the one to bring the mood down but both Master and Sly told us everything about you and what you have been through." said Gray in a grave tone.
Zane said,"I see. It sucks a lot but like I've said a million times now, you can't live in the past but you can live in the future. I'll never forget about the pain that I've been through but you ain't going to see me bitch and groan about it.". "So you're okay right?" said Lucy. "Yeah. I may remember the pain but I didn't forget about the joy of everything that I've been through. I'm sure that my family and friends who have passed on would want me to live every day strong and be the same." said Zane.
He said with a sigh,"And I rather do that than end my life with the coward's way just to escape the pain.". The group of wizards were shocked by his inner strength. Erza smiled at this but then she smirked as she thought of something. "I won't be easy on him if he breaks a rule." thought Erza. She can think that but it won't happen. I mean when she is up against a god so what can she really do even if we factored in the power of bullshit friendship power up.
Narrator P.O.V.
Outside of the Omniversal Chateau, Ultear stood there being that she thought,"Wow. Zane's house is really nice. It's quite an upgrade from the shack he lived in before.". Before she could take another step, she was soon held at sword point. "Why are you here Ultear and don't try and lie to me? I think you know that it won't work." said a voice. Ultear soon turned to see Zane ,still in Brain Form in its Human Form, holding his dosu-blade/tanto at Ultear.
Sly was nearby them as Ultear said,"Can't I come to visit my favorite Fairy Tail Wizard?". "You can but you really should have called. I mean I know that you're stalking me but a little warning is better than no warning." said Zane, putting the blade back. "So why are you here? I mean Zane told me that you went to go see your mom and unlike Gray and Lyon, she didn't hurt you." said Sly. "She wanted me to quit being a member of Grimoire Heart." said Ultear.
Cole said,"So this Grimoire Heart is one of the big dark guilds right?". "Yep. They are rumored to be equal in power or slightly more powerful than the Oracion Seis and Tartaros." said Athena. "Even after we infused your Animus with Ethernano, we still can't use that book we got from that one dark guild being that it required pure Ethernano to even open it." said Kane. "It's a strong guess. Lets see what happens next." said Sivarth.
Zane deactivated Brain Form being that he said,"And what did you tell her? I mean both me and Sly know it but I just want to make sure.". "I'm staying with them in order to help you since you brought my mother back from the dead and finding her a place to recover her magic. She tried to tell me and Lisa that she was strong enough but well, she was frozen for ten years." said Ultear. "Yeah and she was focused on keeping Deliora inside so her magic power must be all gone right?" said Sly.
Zane shook his head as he said,"Not exactly. When I first saw her, she had enough magic power to be quite the powerful wizard in our guild. I would say that she's stronger than Gray but not when Natsu is at his best.". "So where is she anyway? I mean I know that she's with Lyon's sister but I don't know where that is." said Sly. "Back in the Northern Continent. She's living there just to make sure that no one finds her. I warped her there." said Zane.
Ultear soon hugged Zane with her whispering,"Thank you Zane. I know that I didn't get to thank you before but I promise to help you out whenever I can mainly when the puppet makes his move.". "You are a good girl Ultear. I think you should get back to the council being that we can't have the puppet suspecting our relationship is more than just casual flirting." said Zane. "You're right Zane. If our relationship isn't just causal flirting, what is it?" said Ultear.
Zane said,"I'll tell you next time we meet.". Ultear pushed him lightly as she said,"You're such a tease Zane. See you soon and thanks for repairing Hargeon again.". She was gone as Sly said,"And when did you do that?". "The night after we arrived at our new home. I told one of the rune knights that I would do it for them. Fun fact, it was the same rune knight that we met in the mines." said Zane as Sly remembered him. "So can we go to the guild now?" said Sly.
Zane said,"Yep. Lets...". His phone soon buzzed as Sly said,"What now?". Zane pulled out his phone as he let out a large sigh. "What?" said Sly. "It's from the Alliance. Gramps isn't doing his paperwork again and his assistant has given me half of it. I also need to write down every little thing about this dimension for my report." said Zane. "Sounds like fun. We can do this at the guild hall right?" said Sly. "Yes" said Zane. The two went toward the guild hall.
On a pathway heading to Magnolia, there was a carriage being that the driver was Irvin. He came from Chapter 3. "Irvin. Are we almost there and how much longer do I have to stay in here?" said a soft voice. "Almost Lady Emma but you know that this area has some bandits and I can't take any chances with you involved." said Irvin. A sigh was heard from within the carriage. "I just hope Zane can help us with our not so little problem." said Emma's voice. Irvin nodded as the two headed toward Magnolia.
At the Fairy Tail guild hall, it was a normal day at the strongest guild. Some of their members were more excited than others. As of today, Team Natsu's punishment is finally over. Their punishment was that they couldn't leave Magnolia for an entire week which means that they couldn't take any jobs outside of Magnolia. Jobs inside of Magnolia were allowed but they were either rare or for a somewhat low price.
This upset the trio of Gray, Happy, and Natsu being that Lucy was in a good mood. She need rent money and every job counts toward paying said rent. Natsu helped her due to his feelings with both Gray and Happy helping because of boredom and fish money respectively. The three boys (Gray, Happy, and Natsu) were just thankful that it wasn't "That" being that Lucy was still confused on what "That" is and she'll never know but it's really bad. I think.
However, this punishment didn't apply for the other member of Team Natsu aka Erza being that she was the one to collect them. Sly and Zane were excluded from the punishment being that Zane told the entire guild ,except for five of them, about who he and Sly really are. Natsu and his feline partner Happy walked into the guild hall. Natsu soon looked around to see his Nakama enjoying themselves and a giant pile of books on a table.
He was pretty sure that it was Levy but then he saw the blue bookworm sitting with her teammates ,in Shadow Gear, Droy and Jet. He was confused as Mira from the bar spotted this. She waved over to him as Natsu said,"Hey Mira. What's with the pile of books?". "Are we updating the resource room in the guild or is it from Fairy Hills?" said Happy. "Neither of those. Zane is currently doing his yearly report for the Alliance and half of of his grandfather's report." said Mira.
The two boys looked confused as Mira said with a smile,"You know how Master has to write those apology letters whenever something gets destroyed. It's kinda like that but much worse.". "Ah. I still don't get it. So is Zane in that pile of books?" said Natsu. "Nope. He went out to collect data and he was in that really cute form of his!" said Mira, squealing at the end. "Cute form?" said Happy. "She's talking about Cartoon Form." said a voice.
The two turned to see Sly as she said,"Cartoon Form plus some others are seen as Zane's cutest forms being that each person has a favorite form of his.". "Ah." said the two. "So are you tracking him or what?" said Mira. "He and his clones should be back real soon. They did have to travel across the planet to gather all of its information." said Sly. Before Mira could say anything, something soon made its way into the guild hall.
It was Replication Form being that there was about twenty of them being that all of them but one had a pile of books in hand. Sly soon flew over to the Replication Form who wasn't holding a pile of books. "So how was your trip Zane?" said Sly. The robot looked at her as he said in his calm and soothing voice,"It was rather annoying being that several clones were killed in the process. So is there a big enough area for all of these books?".
Sly shook her head as Zane said,"I see. Clones, place the books around the pile. I'll just go with the backup plan.". The clones nodded as they placed the boxes around the table. Zane soon made his way to the table as he placed the first pile of books with the other book pile. "So what is he going to do now? I mean I've seen you read a lot of books Levy but this many?" said Jet. Levy shrugged as Zane soon sat on the table, with his legs crossed and looking like a yoga pose.
Zane soon changed being that it was Vision Form. The guild saw that Zane looked to be a mixture of a human, reptile, and eyes and looked to be about 6 feet tall. His body is covered in black reptile like scales except for his chest which are gray scales. He wears black pants with red prison like cuffs around his arms and legs. His body is more muscular on the upper half despite having slightly bulky legs with him having five fingers and toes.
He has a giant green eye on his chest and face. He wears a silver metal helmet that covers his hair and exposing his face eye and mouth. On both shoulders, he has a pair of medium sized green eyes resting there. He also has eyes on each palm. "So what is that form supposed to be?" said Droy. Upon seeing Zane turn into that form, everyone was drawn on him. "This form always sight beyond sight such as the ability to read several things at once." said Zane.
He made several green eyes appear all over his body being that upon doing this, Lucy ,who was at the bar watching, looked sick at this sight of them. "Clones. I need you to multiply until every book is held and then line up. Once I finish reading the book, return it." said Zane. The robots multiplied being that the line went to the outskirts of town. Zane ,with his assortment of eyes, began reading them at a rapid rate.
Natsu's eyes widened as Sly said,"Yeah. Most people would be shocked upon seeing that.". "This form is weird and gross." said Lucy. "Yeah but it's kinda cute Lucy." said Mira with a smile. Lucy sweatdropped as Sly said,"She isn't the only one who thinks that. Believe it or not.". "You two being from another dimension makes more sense by the day." said Gray, walking up to the group as the last Replication Form clone flew off.
Sly nodded as she said,"Yeah Gray. This is why we hid it from you guys before we decided to trust you all. If we didn't have evidence, you'll probably think we're crazy right?". The group of Gray, Happy, Lucy, Mira, and Natsu nodded as Zane said,"Sly. I've gained all of the information about this dimension.". After saying that, all of his spouted eyes vanished, with left behind the chest eye, face eye, palm eyes, and shoulder eyes.
Sly said,"Okay then. So do you need to write down the report or what? I mean the Alliance will allow digital or handwritten report." said Sly. Zane looked at her with all of his eyes stared at her and he said,"Digital Sly. I truly refuse to write 500 pages like I did before. That was a pain on my hands and I'm not a masochist. I'm a sadist.". Zane deactivated the form being that he made a hologram keyboard and screen appear from his watch.
He soon began typing at lightning fast speeds with Sly saying,"Super speed is really helpful isn't it partner?". Zane nodded as he said with him focused on typing,"It is partner along with the ability to multitask. Mira. Could you mind getting a beer for me? I'm really thirsty.". Mira nodded as she went to go him a beer. "So while you're doing that, mind finding a job Sly? Your pick." said Zane. "Thanks Zane. You're so generous." said Sly.
She flew over to the request board as Gray said,"So I have to ask. Where do you two live? I mean you live in town right?". "Not exactly Gray. We live in Mother Nature." said Zane, with him taking the mug from Mira and thanking her. "So how are you not making any mistakes? I'm sure that writing or typing 500 pages takes great focus." said Erza, walking up to Zane. "It does but one of my best powers is the ability to multi-task. So do you know why those two aren't fighting yet?" said Zane.
He soon sprouted a tendril from his body being that it pointed to Gray and Natsu. "Those two would normally be fighting each other by now with Triple B being the one to try her best to stop them but fail in the end." said Zane. "I told Natsu if he fought with Gray at all today, he won't be allowed to go on a job today." said Erza. "I guess we know who wears the pants in their relationship." said Kane. "I see. It seems that everything is going on as normal." said Zane.
During his early reading, Zane ,using Vision Form, was watching Elfman berating the two males of Shadow Gear about them not "Manning Up!" while leaving Levy alone being that she was mainly focused on Zane. Zane agreed with Elfman being that they would be deemed as useless and a liability on the battlefield. Macao and Wakaba were drinking together being that they must think that it's five o clock somewhere in the Omniverse.
They would be completely destroyed if Cana joined them being that the brunette in question usually drinks by the barrel and well, it was something to see. "So did you find anything Sly?" said Zane. He was slightly thankful that he didn't have pay rent on his place. He owned it and made it himself being that if he didn't do that, he would be paying a lot of money each month. Sly floated over toward Zane being that she said,"Well partner, I got nothing.".
Zane raised an eyebrow as he said,"Really? This is weird coming from you.". He finished his report as Sly said,"Yeah. I mean some jobs won't work for us. I doubt you would want to see another book after reading how many books?". "At least a hundred thousand. I mean Vision Form may be the best at finding stuff but it's a pain to pay for eye drops for that form like a lot of cash." said Zane. "I also found a job that involves breaking a seal on a cursed weapon." said Sly.
Zane looked at her with him saying,"That sounds kinda interesting. How much does it pay?". "So do you care a lot for money Zane?" said Erza. "Kinda. I just hate wasting time on something not worth it in the slightest. I may be immortal but time is precious." said Zane. "Okay then. How about us entering a small tournament? I mean with your powers, I doubt it would be any trouble for someone of your strength. The prize money will be totally worth it." said Sly.
Zane looked at her with a blank expression. "You do remember that last tournament we entered right Sly? It was extremely rigged being that the group who was running the whole thing was rigging each fight including the ones with mine. They really hated when I won.". "But you won the whole thing and then arrested the group. We made a killing remember?" said Sly. "Yeah but it was a really big pain in my ass and I really don't want to do it again." said Zane, stretching.
Erza said,"Then how about joining us on our job? You'll have to split the pay in an equal shares but I'm sure that you can work together with others. We did make a good team during the Galuna Island fiasco.". "Yeah! That's an awesome idea Erza!" said Natsu. Both Sly and Zane looked at each other before nodding. They both held up their arms in a cross pose as Sly said,"Sorry but no thanks. We don't exactly work well with others and by we, I mean Zane.".
Zane nodded as he said,"And if you recall, you get mad at little old me whenever I talk.". Erza tried to counter him but she knew that he was right. "Zane, can we come and visit you at your house?" said Natsu. Natsu has been badgering Zane to allow them to throw a housewarming party. "Sorry but no way. I have to ask you something." said Zane. "What?" said Natsu. "You live in a house that lives out in Mother Nature correct?" said Zane. "Yeah. Why do you ask?". said Natsu
Zane was about to say something as he turned to see Erza's left eye twitching. "You know what. You tell him Prude Knight. I'm going to go with Sly to find work." said Zane. The two were gone as Natsu looked at Erza. "Natsu. Tell me something." said Erza. "What?" said Natsu. "What do you do for food and maintaining your hygiene?" said Erza. She began questioning Natsu about his living arrangement with it scaring him. Zane snickered as Sly said,"You do that on purpose didn't you?".
Zane shrugged as he said,"Mum's the word.". "So Zane, what is taking you so long to pick a job? Is your age getting to you?" said a voice. Zane turned to Makarov with the guild master saying,"As you already know, these jobs are ranked from C to A.". "Yeah and I'm not senile like you. I just did the research. I mean it's like in the Alliance as well. It's the same. The higher the letter, the harder of difficulty." said Zane. Erza finished lecturing Natsu with her turning to the two.
She was about to say something but she was stopped by the guild doors slowly open. Everyone's attention was turned to them as Zane said,"And I think we found our job.". In the doorway, Irvin stood there with Emma Steele and a man. Instead of the yellow bikini that she was wearing in Chapter 3, she was wearing something more casual with her beauty sticking out. She had her long blond hair in a low sleek ponytail held by an azure blue ribbon and her light brown eyes shined.
She's wearing a light gray hoodie with it open, revealing her red spaghetti tank top. She's wearing her tank top with a white knee skirt and brown calf-length boots. The man next to Irving ,who was still wearing his outfit from Chapter 3, looked to be rather lean yet muscular. He has short, spiky dark blond hair with it going to shoulders and had brown eyes that matched Emma's eyes. Huh. I wonder if these two are related.
He's wearing a long, opened dark blue coat which stretches down to his knees and showed off his black and gray shirt with a azure blue tie. He's wearing blue jeans with a brown belt. He's wearing brown boots that goes to his knees. He wears a brown fedora. The man soon noticed Zane being that he was walking toward him. "Shouldn't we try and stop him Lady Emma?" said Irving. "You know my dad just as well I do." said Emma.
Irving soon nodded as Mira recognize Emma and Irving. "I wonder what they're doing here." thought Mira. "Excuse me Sir, are you Zane, the infamous Void Knight and member of Fairy Tail?" said the man. "Yep." said Zane. "So what do you want with him sir?" said Erza. "And since when do you care about me or force me what to do Prude Knight?" said Zane. The two were about to argue being that the man decided to introduce himself.
The man said,"My name is Clifton Steele, president of Sorcerer Weekly. I've heard and seen pictures of you from Sorcerer Weekly alongside word of mouth from others and my daughter. You have quite the interesting life Mr. Alvarez and I need to ask you for two favors.". "And what are these two favors? I highly doubt that it's a date with your daughter who look really sexy by the way. You're rocking it Emma!" said Zane who was giving her two thumbs up and the blond was blushing.
Erza was going to try and hit Zane for that comment but Clifton was laughing. "It seems the rumors about your humor being unique were true. Nope. It's about you becoming a model for Sorcerer Weekly and to solve Blossom Village's problem!". He bowed at the end as the guild hall became silent. Zane sighed as he said,"Don't bow to me. I've had enough people do that and trust me, it doesn't inflate my ego.". Clifton looked up as he said,"So will you do it?".
Zane smiled as he said,"Of course I will. Your daughter wants to become a doctor and trust me, med school isn't cheap even if you're a millionaire. So what do you need me to do in Blossom Village?". "I wish to discuss that somewhere private if you don't mind. It's not like I don't trust your guild mates. I just need to make sure that you know what the job entails and how important it is. It's at least A no S rank." said Clifton, shocking the guild.
Zane soon looked right at Makarov with him saying,"You all can talk in my office. The runes are still active in there.". "Thank you Master Makarov." said Clifton. The two soon walked toward Makarov's office being that Sly floated over to Emma. "So how are you doing?" said Sly. "Fine. Do you think Zane will be able to help us?" said Emma. "He did when you were going to be taken away by those ruffians Lady Emma." said Irvin. Everyone was confused by this scene.
The duo of Clifton and Zane were soon in Makarov's office as Zane said,"So before we get too serious Clifton, lets start off with the good news.". "Yes. We should be starting our next shoot rather soon but that can wait. Here. Let me give you my card." said Clifton He soon gave Zane a white card with him saying,"This has our number and address if any plans come up.". "Will do. So what's going on and how bad is it?" said Zane, putting the card away.
Clifton nodded as he said,"We couldn't tell the Magic Council about this given the nature of this job. It involves the Dark Guild Dark Outriders.". "Seriously? Okay. This is really serious. I mean they are a dark guild that has been known to kill people just on a whim with most of their wizards being rather tough." said Twilight. "For normal people, they would be. Zane however isn't normal." said Cole. "So where are they?" said Zane.
Clifton took a deep breath as he said,"In the town of Blossom Village. It's about a day away from Magnolia by train and by carriage, two. The reward is 5,000,000 jewels.". "That's a good amount of money." said Sivarth. Zane smiled as he said,"I'll take it.". "Thank you. Will you being going with a group or just you and your partner?" said Clifton. "I should be more than capable by myself. I have handed worse and survived just fine." said Zane. "Confidence looks good on you Zane." said Kane.
Zane said with his arms crossed,"So Clifton, why does Blossom Town matter to you personally? I mean you live in Crocus and not even close to Blossom Town which is in the middle of Fiore.". "I've heard that you can read minds so you should already know why." said Clifton. Zane shook his head as he said,"I can but I want to hear it from you personally. I'll still take your job because of Emma and those poor people but I like to be connected to the people I"m helping. Take your time okay.".
Back outside, Emma was sitting at the bar being that Natsu kept looking at her. Lucy was getting jealous of this new girl being that Natsu looking at Emma being that they liked him and didn't like how this girl is getting his attention. Irvin noticed this as he said,"Is there a problem with Lady Emma young man?". "Not a single one but for some reason, I know her from somewhere." said Natsu with him pondering it.
Gray sighed as he said with him shaking his head,"She was in the most recent Sorcerer Weekly Flame Brain. I mean she was posing with Mira and Zane.". Natsu nodded as he said,"That's where I saw her from! Thanks Snow Cone!". The two were soon fighting as Erza sighed. "And he was doing so well too." said Happy. "Sometimes Natsu." said Erza. "So your dad seemed kinda worried and well, I've never seen him so worried about really anything." said Mira.
Emma looked at the bar maiden as she said,"It's rather personal and I rather not discuss it here. I just hope that Zane will accept the job.". "Don't worry Emma. I'm sure Zane can handle this job since he handled a dark guild by himself. He did have my help but still." said Sly. Emma nodded as Makarov soon noticed that his office door opened. The guild hall soon turned to see Clifton and Zane leave the office with the latter having a serious and grim expression on his face.
Zane looked at Makarov with him saying,"Old man. Clifton will tell you the details of the job for you to record in that book of yours.". Makarov nodded as he pulled out a large fat book with a number of different tabs going through it. As Clifton walked toward Zane, he said,"Thank you Zane.". "Please quit thanking me sir. It's getting rather annoying." said Zane. Sly flew over to Zane as she said,"So what's the job?".
Zane soon looked at Emma with him nodding. Emma received the signal as Zane said,"Exterminating some Wyverns in a village. They made a mountain out of a molehill. I mean they are like dragons but they're more bat like and attached to their arms. They're much dumber than an actual dragon and not even close to an Akostar. That's just from experience. If you want more information, talk to Clifton and Emma. I'll be back in a couple of days.". "Okay then." said Sly as she flew right toward Emma.
Zane looked toward the door as he said,"I guess I should get going.". "I know that we need to get going but we should drop off the package." said Athena. "Yeah." said Zane. Zane soon walked over toward Levy as she said,"Is something wrong Zane?". "Nope. Everything is peachy. I'm just about to go on a job and before I leave, I have something to give you." said Zane. Zane pulled out the Swiss Army Ethernano Knife/Ethernano Swiss Army Knife and a book as he placed them on the table.
The males of Shadow Gear looked at the weapon as Levy said,"Is this it?". Zane smiled as he said,"I think you'll like it. Here's the instructions. Ask Sly if you need help with it okay? She's a smart girl that's for sure.". He went toward the front door being that he was stopped by two more things. One of them was Cana and the other was Team Natsu. Cana smirked in Zane's direction as she folded her arms under her breasts, which bounced.
Zane was thankful that he wasn't like most men being that unlike the typical nose bleed, Zane's face lit up like a Christmas tree and he really didn't want to ruin his reputation here. When Sly was telling everyone about him and her, she kept Zane's blushing a secret. "So what's up Cana?" said Zane. "So I heard that you're going on a job for a council. Care for a partner?" said Cana with a small smile. Zane sighed as he said,"No thanks. I work better solo or with Sly but this job requires me to work alone.".
Cana sighed as she said while looking at Team Natsu,"Well then, I guess you guys won't be able to convince him either. We know all stubborn he can be". "You can't be serious Zane. Even someone as powerful as you can do better work when you're paired up with a team so let us join you." said Erza with her crossing her arms. "Yeah! It'll be just like the last job!" said Natsu with him pumping up as Happy floated next to him.
Zane sighed as he said,"And this is why I choose to work alone most times. You do remember what happened on our last job right? This job requires some discretion and no one in this guild is capable of that.". Natsu's face soon showed disappointment for a second before Zane turned to Cana. "Hey Cana. When I get back from this job, how about you and I have a drink?" said Zane. "Sure. We're drinking Dragon's Ale and none of that weak stuff." said Cana.
Zane smirked as he said,"Yeah. You've got a strong tolerance toward alcohol but can you handle the Omniverse's strongest drink?". "I'll be able to drink it this time around. I can't have you take my title as strongest drinker." said Cana. Zane nodded as he said,"I guess I should be going by now. Don't worry Clifton. I'll be back.". He soon walked out of the guild hall and jumped into the air. Everyone in the guild and in town soon watched Zane walk through the air.
As Zane was heading toward the train station, Twilight said,"So will Zane ever be back to the way he was when he was a teen?". "Don't know Twilight but all of us have changed since those days. We should try to be who we are rather than someone who were in the past." said Kane. "Yeah. Lets go stop this dark guild." said Sivarth. Zane nodded being that he knew that this job was going to be real good.
Meanwhile in a bar, miles away from Magnolia and close by Blossom Village. A man was sitting there with him looking in deep thought. This man looked familiar being that it's Discord from the dark guild Valiant Wraiths before they were force to disbanded. He was lucky to have escaped when the magic council came to arrest him and his supposed Nakama. He was soon found by what he through was the Balam Alliance but it was someone else.
He was promised great power in order to get revenge on the one who defeated in the past aka Zane Alvarez. Discord was asked why they would do this being that the leader only said for him to bring chaos and destruction wherever he goes. His magic power had increased being that thanks to him being implanted with an Dragon Slayer Lacrima, he was now a Dragon Slayer like his former boss was being the Tornado Dragon Slayer.
According to what he's heard, Cyrus was back to be a normal wizard after his fight with Zane left him at death's door. Discord was offered a job by the dark guild Dark Outriders a job being that he was going to work as hired muscles just in case the Council shows up to stop their fun. This is because the master of the guild heard about the mayor of Blossom Village's good friend planning an attempt to stop them by going to Fairy Tail for help.
Discord wanted revenge on Zane so he was going to take this job upon hearing about a chance to get his revenge on the one who prevent his chance at fighting someone strong. He looked to be the same height being that his face is angular and his body looked more muscles than before. His dark blue hair isn't slicked back anymore and now reached his neck. There are a few stands in front of his brown eyes.
He's still wearing a dark purple sleeveless gi but it now did the opposite of his previous gi being that it does an even better job at exposing his muscular body and fir his size. He's wearing a dark yellow obi around his waist and simple black boots. He wears dark blue gloves being the one on the right looked more like a metal gauntlet rather than a leather gauntlet. "It seems that I should get going. I'll be bringing the winds of change to this world no matter what." thought Discord.
He walked toward the exit being that once he was outside, he was soon surrounded by a group of forty people. Discord raised an eyebrow as he thought,"None of them are with the Council. It must be those gang I took down earlier in order to get enough money for a couple of drinks.". "Okay! We finally found you dam bastard! We're here to make up pay for what you did to us the Diamond Cobra Gang!" said their leader.
Discord found him being that the leader is a man with short moss green hair and gray eyes. He's wearing a gray jacket and matching pants, blue t-shirt, and black boots. "In my defense, I need some cash for a quick drink before I head to my job so I had to beat up your pathetic group in order to get some cash. Thanks but it's time for us to truly part ways." said Discord with a smile. During their conversation, the man was soon gathering the air. "Tornado Blades!" said Discord.
Before the gang could do anything, they were soon slashed by blades of solid air. The leader couldn't believe this being that he gritted his teeth in anger. "Dam you!" yelled the man as the rest of the gang soon rushed at Discord. Upon seeing them coming toward him, Discord only smiled. He soon began focusing air around him as he soon held two large sledgehammers of air. The pole resembled a light pole and the hammer itself had a pentagon shaped bottom.
As he slammed the hammers into them, Discord said,"Air Make: Tornado Hammer!". All of them were sent toward a nearby building, breaking it. "Soon Void Knight. I'll make you pay for what you did to me. See you in Blossom Village and this time, I'm going to make you pay." said Discord with him launching himself into the air and his way toward Blossom Village. The battle between Legion Zero and the Dark Guild Dark Outriders has began.

Zane arrives in Blossom Village being that he faces off against a powerful dark guild and an old friend in order to help Emma and her father. Will anything cause any problems for our hero? This and more next time on Fairy Legion!
Brain Form. This card has a black frame with a giant brain in the center of the card with dark red lightning around it. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 21 and it's Prime Form hasn't been introduced yet. This Form is one of Zane's smartest being that it can change between frog and a human like form. The human like form is seen less often than the pure frog form being that it hasn't appeared yet in Zero. This changed happened because like Frost Form, this Form went through an evolution/metamorphosis. However, it can switch between the two.
Phoenix Form. This card has a black frame with a bird bursting out of a flame in the center of the card. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 49 and it doesn't have a Prime Form. He's often seen as the flying version of Raptor Form and a fiery version of Eagle Form.
Vision Form. This card has a black frame with several eyes plastered all over it. This Form was introduced in Zero Episode 34 and it doesn't have a Prime Form. This form is a master of sight and can see in several different directions. He can see various futures and outcomes. He can see through pretty much everything being helpful for medical purposes. He's able to project several types of energy and matter from his eyes being that he can control where they go. This form later gets a change/upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. It's very similar to Brain and Frost Form being that instead of going through a metamorphosis, Vision Form progress into the future or matures according to Parker. It's seen in person around the time of Zero Episode 136.
Author Note: You may have noticed that there is an author note at the end of this post being that I usually don't do that but this took presence. The thing is Stan Lee's recent passing as me writing this on November 13, a day after his passing. It was a shock to me at the very least despite me knowing well that Stan Lee isn't getting any younger since at the time of his death, he was ninety five years old being almost 100.
To put this in perspective here, some of the original comic creators died much earlier. Bill Finger and Bob Kane aka the co-creators of Batman died in 1974 and 1988 respectively. Jack Kirby died in the mid 90s. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shusher aka the co-creators of Superman died in 1996 and 1992 respectively. This one may shock you being that Steve Ditko died early this year. William Marston aka the creator of Wonder Woman died in 1947 being that he was only 53 years old.
I was shocked to learn how he died being that I was just scrolling through Youtube being that I saw a creator that I watch post something about his passing being that at first, I thought it was a joke but I soon found out that it wasn't, leaving me speechless for a good couple of minutes. As you couldn't tell, I'm a huge fan of comic and manga being that my love of comic has been with me since I was a child and manga since I was a teen.
Spiderman is also my favorite hero being that I wanted to be Spiderman when I grew up. I'm both a DC and Marvel fan being that I like a lot of their characters. I'll always remember and admired Stan Lee for what he has done for comics and millions if not billion of people. I only have last thing to say on this topic Excelsior! I just need to say what I need to say being that this death means a lot to me due to my love of comics.
Everyone has a favorite celebrity and their passing means a lot to them. It's like when Adam West died last year, Alan Rickman in 2016, Ed Blaylock in 2017 being that he voiced Sengoku and Jose two great characters mainly the former but the latter, Leonard Nimoy in 2015, Robin Williams in 2014, and many more. Death is a tragic feeling and we should honor those we have lost by enjoying their work.
