A/N: Yeah. We're almost done and hey, we're going to have more than one post this month. We're at two so far and after this episode, we're going to have over five. I know that it won't make up for the past couple of months being that I've been more focused on other things such as editing for Zero and also Fairy Legion which will be returning. I just need to do one major story arc and it involves Rachel so expect it to be dramatic.
I wanted to talk with how I just let Heidi know about Zane. Ever since she got superpowers, she was meant to be Zane's partner in crime fighting and love. The latter of the two changed over time but the former stayed. I know that I haven't done a good job with the whole thing but I'm not treating this that seriously. I'm doing this and Fairy Legion for fun. I do put a lot of effort in this but if you expect me to make this for a profit, I won't.
I'm planning on making a series that I'll put time and effort into but well, it'll be a long time before that comes off. In this episode, we're going to see the result of Toxic spilling the beans. You may be wondering how she knows this and that will be revealed in this part. Lets begin with an interrogation of our hero at CPPD (Cypress Park Police Department). Even though Scott knows the truth, the rest of the force doesn't.
To add on to the reveal of Zane's powers and the liking, I will be doing the same thing for all of Team Maelstrom being that most of the members have been revealed so enjoy seeing that. It will come before Zane's stuff since they're not the main character but the main supporting cast to the main character.
Narrator P.O.V.
A bright flash enveloped Zane who was sitting on a chair inside of Scott's office, making him blind for a moment before hearing a voice. "Zane Alvarez. Are you Legion Zero?" said a voice. "So are these idiotic humans are actually believing a murderer? I mean you may not be a normal teen but you and Zero have been seen together many times. I still can't believe that we're even stuck here answering these stupid questions." said Kane.
Zane soon looked at the integrator being it was Agent Tempest. It was Agent F and Quake being that they were escorted out of the room by the senior agent after they won't getting anywhere. "Like I told your friends, I'm not Zero!" said Zane. "The girl in white said different." said Tempest. "You guys are seriously believing the words of a freaking psychopath who calls herself Toxic Widow. Does that name scream good to you?!" said Zane.
The light flashed off with it revealing Roland, standing to the right of Zane with Sheila behind Zane as she had her arms crossed. "So why is he here? I get the cousin of that kid who tried to kill you just because he was totally couldn't handle the truth but why him?" said Cole. "The rich have the power to do anything in this world." said Athena. "I knew it! You're that gloryhog who has been using his powers to secretly take over the world!" said Roland.
Zane ,internally, rolled his eyes as Sheila said,"I don't think he's lying Mr. Gordon.". "Why is she defending us?" said Twilight. "She's being good cop?" said Cole. "We scanned him using our Nether detectors and he has no Nether in him at all. Zero has been shown to use powers that are like Phantoms and this kid doesn't have it plus he seems like a good kid. He has a future." said Sheila. "So?! I don't care! I want you numbskulls in Swarm to interview EVERYONE that this kid knows!" said Roland.
Zane's eyes widened as Kane said,"Is it bad that I feel bad for Swarm? I know that they've killed Phantoms and if Sivarth wasn't back at H.Q., he would hate me for even saying that but you know so many people so this will take a lot of time". "Got it." said Tempest, heading right out of the office. Zane stood up as he said,"Hold on a god dam second! This rich bastard doesn't either have the authority to do any of this right?!".
Sheila placed a hand on Zane's shoulder as she said,"Go home kid. You'll be needing a good night sleep since after today, your life is about to change for the worst,". Zane nodded as he thought,"I really hope that I can keep my secret until this is all over.". Zane was gone as he overheard Sheila say,"Do you honestly think that he's Zero Mr. Gordon?". "Nope but I hate his guts. He punched me in the gut and well, I can tell that he's Zero." said Roland.
Zane rolled his eyes as he said,"Yep. He hasn't changed at all whatsoever.". Roland soon pointed to a laptop on the desk. "What's that?" said Sheila. Roland smiled as he said,"The brat will learn his place when it comes to respecting those with money.". He soon turned the laptop, revealing a picture showing half of Legion Zero's face and the other half being Zane's face. This photoshop was done within a couple of hours.
Sheila thought,"They do look alike but that's about it. Zane and Zero can't be the same person because we have evidence to prove that they are two different people. However, we're stuck doing this to our boss hating that kid for punching him and corrupting his daughter. Personally, I think he's a prime example of a rich idiot.". "Well, I'm going to send it out." said Roland. He pressed the Enter key with him laughing. Sheila sighed as she thought,"Poor kid. I wish him good luck.".
The next day, Agent F and Quake were in the office of Andrew Collins. "You've worked with Zane as an intern alongside Derrick Price. Has Zane ever left your company under a pretty lousy excuse like I have to go the bathroom?" said Agent F. Quake was holding his phone to record Andrew. Andrew soon put his fingers together and thinking for a while. "Zane and Zero are two different people got it morons?" said Andrew. This ended the interview here and there.
At Cypress Park, Zane opened up his locker and sighed. Even though he graduated early, he still had to attend once in a while. He felt bad for Sivarth being that due to him being suspected as Zero, he couldn't risk having any form of Nether detected inside of him and that included Sivarth. Zane could tell that the Akostar was lonely since no one could go and see him thanks to Swarm currently barricading Zenith Tower. Zane sighed as he heard,"Hey Zane!".
Zane turned to see Danny running up him as he said,"Hey man. How are things with you?". "Fine but what about you? I mean Swarm is pretty much convincing that you're Zero despite the mountains worth of evidence proving other wise." said Danny. "Yeah but Roland is sure about it and even if Sheila thinks this is a waste of time, Swarm gets a generous donation from Roland so they're pretty much under his thumb just like everyone else who can't stand up to the rich." said Zane.
The two soon turned to see Brad trying to get Leigh's attention with him crashing and burning. "Our great and powerful Rush is striking out hard isn't he?" said Danny. "Yeah and it's kinda fun to watch despite it being so sad." said Zane. "I really wish we had some popcorn." said Kane with the rest of Team Legion Zero ,except for Sivarth, agreeing. "Leigh! Wait up." said Brad, finally getting in front of her. "Bradley. I told you a thousand times by now that I'm not going out with you." said Leigh.
She walked away as Brad sulked. "Should we comfort him?" said Cole. "Nah." said Athena. "And here's coming the savage Athena." said Zane. Brad soon looked up see the theater teacher Javier walking by him and Brad got an idea. Javier is a Caucasian man with red hair and bangs that cover most of his forehead. He has blue eyes with a beard covering his face. He's wearing a brown leather jacket with a white collared shirt and red tie underneath.
He's wearing blue jeans with a black belt and tennis shoes. "Hey teach." said Brad. "Bradley. What do you want?" said Javier. "Okay. You didn't cast me in the school play which is totally not a big deal but any part of it would be good. I need to get a certain girl you see." said Brad. "Ah. Young love at its fine. I will not be helping you with it." said Javier as he walked away, leaving a stunned and shocked Brad.
Meanwhile at Maxwell Brock's office at CPU, Agent F and Quake were questioning the scientist duo of Maxwell and Sharon Matthews. "Zane Alvarez. Legion Zero. Are the same person?" said Quake as the two scientists began laughing. "You've got to be kidding me! Zane is a super genius just like his mother and I doubt that he would be Zero." said Sharon. "Yep. I've seen the two at the exact same time so sorry." said Max. The two agents hid another dead end in their investigation.
A little bit later, Karen and Zane were writing some terms of some test tubes. They bumped their tubes into each other as they smiled. "So are you okay?" said Karen, pushing her hair behind her ears and placed the cleanser in its right spot. "Honestly, I'm kinda sick of the attention. I'm just thankful that they are ignoring my family. Lets just say that my dad sucks at any form of interrogation and would blow my secret identity open if interviewed." said Zane.
The doors soon open with the two turning to see Megan standing there. Instead of her dress, she's wearing more casual clothing. She's wearing a green jacket over a sleeveless black and pink stripped tank top with black spaghetti shoulder straps. She's wearing a dark red skirt that stop at her knees and brown calf high heel boots with black leggings. She has a necklace with three blue crystal stones in the form of a triangle and is partially covered by a purple scarf around her neck.
Kane said,"I know that she's evil but damn, she looks good.". This earned him a slap from Twilight as Megan said,"Hey there Zaney. How's it going?". Upon seeing her standing there, Zane dropped the test tub that he was holding. "How are you out of jail Megan?" said Zane. "And how do you know Zane?" said Karen, holding his arm. "Ah. She's jealous of her. It's real cute." said Cole. "And it's a good thing that she can't hear you." said Kane.
Megan noticed this scene as she smiled. "Well, I came here to see my old friend." said Megan, with her winking to Zane. He shivered as Max and Sharon came out to see the commotion. They were both surprised to see Megan in the lab with Max saying,"It's so good to see you again Megan.". "I think it's been three years. You two are looking well." said Megan. Sharon soon hugged her as Zane said,"Um. How do you two know her exactly?".
Megan said,"Are you jealous of them showing their favorite intern affection Zaney?". "You hired her as an intern?!" said Zane, pointing to Megan. Karen didn't know much about Megan being that she only heard things about her from Rachel and Zane being that none of it was positive. "So why are you here Megan?" said Max. "To be honest, I was here for the pageant last week before I was taken over by that creature who says that you are the protector Legion Zero." said Megan.
Sharron said,"Really? I still can't believe that Swarm thinks that you're Zero Zane. It's kinda strange to imagine that.". Zane nodded as Karen said,"So how long are you in town for?". "Until the model agency needs me to go somewhere else. So what are you guys up to? I doubt you're wasting your lives away in the lab." said Megan with a smile. "We're going to meet up with our friends over at Havana Brews. In fact, we're leaving right now." said Zane, grabbing Karen's arm.
Karen noticed that Zane looked angry and was protecting her from Megan. "I guess I'll see you around but can we talk Zaney?" said Megan. Before Zane could say anything, he was soon dragged away by her. "Wow. I didn't expect her to have such great upper body strength." said Max. "Women can surprise you Max." said Sharon. "I guess so." said Max with him not feeling like he should argue about this.
The two teens walked a safe distance away ,a good distance away from the two doctors and Karen, as Megan saying,"So Zaney, why haven't you been killed by Swarm yet? I mean you were outed as Legion Zero by Toxic Widow.". Zane rolled his eyes as he said,"Because there is more than enough proof proving that I'm not him Megan. Why are you out of prison?". "Did you honestly think that the police would keep a sweet and innocent girl like me in jail?" said Megan.
Zane said,"You're sure as hell not sweet and innocent. Don't think I forgot about you bullying Clyde into becoming Igor. He can't change back by the way. He's in prison and his life is ruined because of you.". Megan shrugged as she said,"Who cares and have fun with your girlfriend.". The couple was walking down the steps to the lab as Karen said,"So why were you acting so strange in there? It was kinda obvious.".
Zane said,"It's Megan Karen. I mean she's just freaking me out. I'm sure that she and Toxic Widow are connected. They're the same person and like Darth, you could get hurt again and I don't want that at all..". "Okay. You being freaked out is kinda weird to say but don't worry. We won't get captured again." said Karen. She grabbed his hand as he said,"I know but stay safe. Me and Scott couldn't see our lives with you.". Karen smiled as Crisis Judgement went off.
The two were soon surround by reports and photographs. They were talking pictures and questions as the most common ones were "You're Zero aren't you Zane?". "Turn into one of your forms!". "Wow. I guess they are rather annoying." said Karen. "They've been harassing me all day Karen since I left my house. They're worse than the freaking business men." said Zane. "Hey Zero. Is that your girl?" said a female. "Hey girlie. What is like kissing a superhero?" said a man.
He put his arm around her as Karen said,"Let me go!". She soon kicked the man square in the nuts as Cole and Kane said,"That looked like it hurt.". Zane soon grabbed her hand as he said,"And if you don't want to be like that guy, leave me the fuck alone!". The two were still running with the crowd chasing after the couple. Zane turned to the left with him thinking,"Need a spot to hide.". He found one as he said to Karen,"Get ready to be real close.". This earned him a head tilt from Karen.
The crowd was soon in the park on campus with them looking for Karen and Zane. The couple was hidden thanks to Zane ,using Twilight's natural camouflage, and was holding her tightly. The girl was blushing with her thinking,"He's really worried.". She soon giggled as Zane had to shush her. The crowd was gone as the two were getting closer. They were about to kiss with Karen's cellphone going off and Karen said,"Such a mood killer right?". "Not really." said Zane, kissing her.
Karen soon smiled as she said,"Don't change Zane.". "Won't. So who is it?" said Zane. "It's Rae." said Karen. She soon answered it and put it on speaker. "Hey Rae. Zane's with me. What's up bestie?" said Karen. "I guess the freaking paparazzi found out where Zane was going to be and they have swarmed the shop. Conner is trying to fight them back but well, they are really annoying." said Rachel. "Sorry about all of this you guys. I really didn't expect this today." said Zane.
Karen noticed that Zane looked exhausted as Rachel said,"Zane. I speak for everyone of your friends but we don't care if one of your enemies outed your secret identity because we like Zane aka the man behind the mask.". "Thanks Rae. I may ditched out and hopefully the crowd will go away. Sorry you guys." said Zane. "It's fine Zane. Just get some sleep." said Rachel. She hanged up as Karen hugged Zane and the couple went their separate ways.
Later that night, Megan was walking down an alleyway with her smiling. "That was funny. I mean making Zaney look like a fool is really fun right partner?" said Megan. Toxic soon came from her shoulder as she said,"Yes and it's a shame that we couldn't find any more followers beside for the jock. It's a shame that he failed.". The two were soon grabbed by two giant dark indigo arms as they were pulled up to the top of a building.
Toxic smiled as Megan was soon covered in fuchsia and white slime. She was dressed as Toxic Widow but with some upgrades to her costume. She's wearing a fuchsia colored mask with a black outline. Her hair color was changed being that it was pure white with fuchsia streaks. She also has fuchsia colored lipstick. Her full body outfit is white with a fuchsia section going down the front and makes a matching colored spider web on her back.
Megan smiled as she saw Zane ,in costume, and he said,"Listen Megan. I don't know how you and your crazy lover learned my secret identity but I don't care. I do care when you're hurting my family and friends which by the way, you're doing.". "Oh. We know exactly what we're doing being that we want to make you suffer!" said Megan. She soon fired a group of tendrils at Zane with it going right through him and Zane turned out to be a clone.
Megan looked for Zane with her hearing,"Thunder Emperor Black Panther!". The girl soon saw a claw of panthers toward Megan with all of them being a crimson red color. They soon slashed Megan as they ran by her. Most of them were soon destroyed by Megan being that she said,"Fight me like a man Zero!". The remaining panther soon began combining into one giant panther being that it soon slammed into her, causing a massive explosion of lightning.
This blinded her as Zane ,in Frankenstein Form, punched her in the guts. This sent her back a bit with Megan grabbed his fist. She smiled as she said,"Wow. Is this your true form? I mean you look so ugly!". "Thunder Emperor Galvanism Shattering!" said Zane with thunder gathered around both of his arms. He soon landed a single punch on her and send her toward the ground. He soon fired out a huge amount of ultra-high speed punches.
Each punch cause the ground ,around them, to be slowly destroyed. She soon threw Zane away ,using her tendrils to grab Zane's conductors and she said,"You think that your attack is working but in all reality, you're going to be hurting all of the people that you care about and we're going to enjoy every moment of your suffering!". Zane soon landed on a rooftop with him seeing Megan in the air, raising both of her fists in the air.
Zane deactivated Thunder Form and into his costume with him firing candy syrup right into her eyes as she roared in frustration. Zane soon dodged her as Megan landing on the roof. She ripped the candy syrup off as she was soon kicked in the face by Zane. Zane soon slammed her into the ground with Crisis Judgement going off. He soon got kicked into the air with Zane soon flying into the air but was stopped by Toxic's webbing on both of his legs.
Toxic smiled as she said,"You're not leaving us!". She soon threw her toward the ground in front of Cypress Park University. "Could this get any worse?" said Zane. As he said that, news reporter soon surrounded him. "Gods damn it." thought Zane. "You had it coming." said the A.I.s. Megan ,in her more brawny form aka the monster from Zero Episode 111 but with her new outfit's color, slammed into Zane's stomach, with the boy holding back a scream.
She was breaking his ribs as the reporter said,"Who are you?! What are you doing to him?". "We're Toxic Widow and we want is Zero's head. He made us look foolish for lying to us about who he really is!" said Megan. She soon grabbed Zane's head with her squeezing it. "Feel the pain don't you hero? This is the power of a true bond between human and Vordlarin. Darth was right in taking over Bryan but what you have with her is false." said Megan.
Zane growled as he said,"What you two have is nothing special! You're just being used by a psychotic bitch who couldn't handle having her life ruined by cold hard reality!". He grabbed a camera ,with his mind, and slammed it into Megan's head, stunning her. Zane escaped her grasp with him punching and then kicking her back. Megan recovered as Zane evaded her and jumped onto the CPU's main building with him sticking onto it.
Megan smiled as she said,"Look at him run away. If there is anyone who can't handle reality, it is you Zane! Show us your real face rather than the one you're hiding behind!". "Yeah. The psycho is right!" said the reporter who got kicked in the nuts. "Yeah! Show us your face! We all know that you're quite handsome even through you're scarred." said a female reporter. "Like Zane must have told you a thousand times by now vultures, I'm not him and he isn't me!" said Zane.
Zane took a deep breath, releasing candy syrup from his mouth and this trapped Megan inside of a cocoon made of that stuff. The only part of her that wasn't covered was her head. The hero launched himself toward Megan with him saying,"Take this! Zero Knee!". As he was heading toward Megan, his knees were enhanced by Vulcan Emperor and his knees clashed with Megan's mouth. The teeth were broken along with the cocoon, sending her flying toward the front of the building.
Before she cover recover, Megan heard,"Impulse Burst!". Zane gathered up Impulse with a energy sphere appears in front of him. Zane threw the energy sphere like a baseball being that upon contact with the woman it releases a wave of Impulse and sending Megan back. "And you shouldn't be trusting whatever comes out of that mouth. She's the woman behind all of the recent killing. You can't really trust killers since they may just kill you." said Zane.
Megan recovered as she said,"And the feeble male complains too much.". "Wow. Playing the sexism card. How........" said Zane. He didn't finish because he was uppercutted to the roof. "Instead of quipping, fight her!" said Kane. "He can't! That bitch broke his ribs and head. Her power is much greater than Darth's ever was!" said Twilight. Megan turned back to the crowd with her saying,"I'm guessing that he's just on his last legs. I'll be right back for the execution.".
She soon jumped up to the roof with her seeing that Zane was long gone, leaving nothing. The female roared as she swung off, looking for Zane. In all reality, Zane was actually there but using his suit's camouflage. "And you said this was a stupid idea." said Zane. "Shut up Zane. We need to get you back home. Twilight or Kane, take control of him." said Athena. "Rock, paper, scissors?" said Kane as Twilight sighed.
Later, Zane ,out of costume, was sitting in his living room with his three kids and puppy worried about him. His chest and head were covered in bandages, leaving Zane shirtless. "Daddy. Are you okay?" said Zoey. "I'm fine pumpkin. Don't worry okay? Your dad is really strong." said Zane. "You do need to be more careful bro." said Lucius. He handed him a cup of coffee as Zane said,"Thanks but I don't drink coffee.". "It's the Irish kind." said Lucius. "Isn't that booze?" said Atem,
Zane shrugged as he said,"I need it Atem.". "So daddy, why does that weird lady know who you are under the mask?" said Uriel. Zane petted Wolfram who wanted to sit in Zane's lap but he knew that Zane's injuries were bad. "I don't know. Like I told you before, she seemingly came from nowhere and took over Megan, turning her into that monster." said Zane. Wolfram barked as Lucius said,"Is he serious Zane? Wolfram can fight?".
Uriel and Zoey looked at each other as they said,"That's so cool Wolfram!". Wolfram blushed as Atem said,"Huh. I guess you learn something new everyday.". "Yeah. So where is mom and dad, the other two dogs, and Kurt? I thought he would be here, being the overprotective pain that he is. He used to be quite through when it comes to me getting injured when I was a kid." said Zane. "Would you believe me that he's out on a date right now?" said Lucius.
Zane looked stunned as Zoey said,"Uncle Lucius isn't kidding. He was going to be here after hearing about your fight with that lady but Lucius told him to enjoy his date. She seemed nice when I met her but I don't know daddy. She has a bad feeling to her.". "But she does like sweets. That makes her good to me." said Uriel. Zane smiled as he said,"Never change Uriel. So what about the other two couples?". "They're making sure that dad doesn't blab to Swarm or those vultures." said Lucius.
Atem said,"Is grandpa that bad around press?". "Yes." said Lucius and Zane. Wolfram barked as Zane said,"Let just say that he gets it from his father. Grandpa may blurt things out when under a camera but great grandpa punches the guy behind the camera and says it.". Ana soon came into the living room as she said,"Hey big brothers.". "How was school today? I know that Zane's day was dealt with the vultures and that monsters but what about you?" said Lucius.
Atem said,"Yeah Aunt Ana. You're the only one we went to school today.". "Didn't daddy go to school big brother?" said Uriel. "Dad doesn't exactly attend Cypress High sis but it's more like he goes there just to hang out." said Atem. Uriel took that as an answer with Ana saying,"It went fine being that I was bothered by girls who wanted to date my brother because he's Legion Zero. One of them was Sam but I brushed them off.". "Ah. She cares for you Zane. How sweet." said Cole.
He was soon hit by Ana as she said,"I had a feeling that Cole said something stupid didn't he?". "He sure did. Way to go sis." said Zane, throwing her a thumbs up. "So how are your wounds doing? She crushed your head and ribs right?" said Ana. "Yeah. It wasn't pleasant. I need to ask you and Lucius plus Kurt once his date is over for a favor." said Zane. "Which is?" said Ana and Lucius. "Break into Zenith Tower and get Sivarth. I'll need his power if I want to defeat Megan." said Zane.
Zoey stood up as she said,"We'll help too daddy!". Atem, Uriel, and Wolfram nodded as Lucius said,"Are you four serious? You're still learning how to use your powers and while Swarm may be jokes, I think they got some tough foes there like Agent Tempest or Sheila.". "Don't worry so much about them bro. They're my kids so they're tough plus they got their aunt and uncles protecting them like my uncles did for me back then." said Zane. "Okay. Stay safe you four." said Lucius.
The next day at Cypress High, the news vultures had surround Zane whose his wounds ,from the night before, were slowly healed. Stan had been asked by Zane to come and help inside being that Stan knew that Zane was getting tired of the pestering. "Thanks for doing this Stan." said Zane. "It's no problem Zane. You may have graduated but you're still my student so I need you vultures to leave him alone!" said Stan.
Wolfram and Zane walked through the main courtyard as a boy said,"Is Zane really Zero?". "He is in no way Zero!" said Sam. "Hey Zane. I know that this might sound stupid but lets turn into Sam just to shut her up." said Kane. "Kane. Please don't become another Cole." said Zane. He soon looked over to see Brad being interviewed by Marilyn all of people. Brad was sitting on the school fountain as he said,"Listen. Zane and I are pals so would I know if he's Zero which he isn't!".
Marilyn said,"But two years ago, people did see him in a Legion Zero costume that looked too good to be hand made.". "Yeah but it was during Halloween and it was Zero's first costume plus he didn't call himself Legion Zero until right after that. God. You Swarm nerds really need to learn your stuff losers." said Brad. "Is it weird that he knows that?" said Cole. "It shows that he's dedicated." said Athena. Zane nodded as he went inside of the school.
A bit later, Zane was trying to get some sleep in his office. He needed to recover some of his power being that all he needed was an hour but with the constant and annoying media, it was hard for him to catch some Zs. He was about to close his eyes as he said,"Hey Alvarez. You in there?". Zane sighed as he said,"Didn't Stan tell you to leave me alone? I just want some peace.....". The door slammed open as Brad stood there with the football team. "Yeah but we need to talk." said Brad.
The jocks soon grabbed Zane with Twilight saying,"Not going to fight back?". "Too tired plus I doubt that they're going to throw me into those vultures. Brad's a super fan." said Zane. Zane was soon in the gym with Brad telling the jocks to leave them alone. "So are you going to confess your love to me or what?" said Zane. "Tell me the truth Zane. I don't want one of your jokes or anything else. Are you Zero?" said Brad, acting serious.
Zane was quiet as Brad said,"I know that you superheroes want to keep your identity a secret because the people that you care about could be in danger but you're my pal. I know that I was hard on you for half of High School and all of Middle School because I was jealous of you. You had both brain and brawn while I had brawn. When Zero showed up, he was my idol. He was so cool being that he was a hero to save people.". "What's the point here?" said Cole.
Brad sighed as he said,"I know that you're trying to help me with Leigh but I need you to let me help you. You've saved my life and everyone in this school's life at least once. You as Student Council President changed this school for the better. Sam's rule of the school is pretty much gone. I want to repay you for everything that you've done.". Zane was quiet as he said,"Brad. Thank you.". "Are you going to tell me or what?" said Brad.
Zane sighed as he said,"I'll tell you after I get a nap. Just let me relax. I'm exhausted. Those vultures have kept me up all night with their camera flashing and just annoying presences! I sleep in the top part of my house and I can still hear them!". Brad did noticed that Zane looked tired. "Don't worry Zane. I'll make sure you get all of the sleep you need because this is just part of what I owe you. So lets go." said Brad. Zane followed the crippled Brad without question.
Meanwhile outside of Zenith Tower, Swarm had kept this place on lockdown. "So how long do we have to be here again?" said Agent Quake. "Until that Zane kid is proven to be Zero and then we got after him. He is just a Phantom after all." said F. Above them on a nearby rooftop, the members of the Alvarez family (Ana, Atem, Kurt, Lucius, Uriel, Wolfram, and Zoey) watched the scene with them all in costume.
Ana was Omega whose costume has changed in the past two years ago which was last seen in Zero Episode 38. She's wearing an salmon colored mask which covered her dark green eyes. She's wearing a black sleeveless jumpsuit with brown colored boots with fur trim and salmon soles. She wears a dark pink vest with ripped sleeves and edges. On her arms, she has black and salmon cuffs with white edges. Her legs have three salmon stripes on the sides of her legs and hips.
On the chest of her suit, there is a logo of a salmon colored Omega symbol. Atem was Ra, Uriel was K-9, and Zoey was Lodestar. The older brothers of Zane were also in costume being Kurt was wearing the one from Zero Episode 100. Lucius is wearing a silver jumpsuit and magnetism mask over him. The final member aka the phantom dog is Wolfram due to him being in his brand new wolf form.
He’s a massive creature being 6 feet tall. He can easily have five people riding onto him with no problem whatsoever. He has a big and bushy tail. He still has sharp claws and fangs being that they are now steel gray steel. He grows a secondary large silver horn sticking out of his forehead with White Nether seeping out of it. His fur is still pure jet-black ,with a white underside to him, and having steel gray tiger like stripes.
Uriel and Zoey petted Wolfram ,whose tail went back and forth, as Zoey said,"So what's the plan uncle Hawk?". "Isn't it obvious?" said Kurt. "Not really." said Ana. "One team is a distraction and the other team is going to collect Zane's Phantom." said Lucius. "So who is which team?" said Atem. "I think you can take care of the kids right Ana?" said Kurt. "Yeah but are you two sure about this? I can help you." said Ana.
Lucius soon smiled as he said,"Yeah but this is something that we have to do. These jerks have been bothered Zane because of that monster. We'll keep them distract while you four get Zane's Phantom and deliver it to him.". "Okay! We got this!" said Uriel with Wolfram barking. The three children and Ana got onto the back of Wolfram with Kurt saying,"Time to cause some trouble bro.". Lucius nodded as he used his powers to make Swarm's truck fly around them.
As the agents were distracted by this, they were blasted by black and white fireballs from Kurt. The agents were either blasted by fire or the metal objects was used against them. As this was going on, Wolfram jumped toward Zenith Tower and phased through the buildings with all four passengers phased with him. They were soon inside of the Tower as Atem said,"Wait. Won't dad's security system activate and where are we?".
The group looked around to see that they were in Zane's gym. "We're in the gym. Zoey, can you sense Sivarth?" said Ana. "Yeah. He's up there!" said Zoey, pointing upwards. "You hear the girl." said Ana as Wolfram barked. The dog soon floated his way up through the tower as Uriel said,"This is so cool Wolfram!". The five were soon in the living room with them seeing Sivarth sitting there in a human like form. He's easily over six feet tall, almost seven feet tall. He has tanned skin.
He looks about 30 years old with a serious and very unfriendly look to him. He has long crimson red hair ,which goes up to his shoulders, and red eyes that can pierce your soul with a single glance. He has several scars over his body with his most noticeable scar being “Z” shaped on his left cheek. His body is covered in muscle, showing how well toned he is. He wears a tight-skin black shirt with red dragon claw like designs and pants reminding people of a distinct feudal Japanese style.
His gold belt is a tied just like an obi-sash and he wears navy blue hakamas. His arms are covered in a golden armor-like shell with it reaching from his shoulders to his hands. He has pointed ears. He was currently watching TV as he said,"Oh. So what are you guys doing here?". "Daddy needs your help to defeat Megan!" said Uriel. "Yeah. I'll be there but I'm kinda stuck here due to those idiots from Swarm." said Sivarth. "Have you not heard the explosions outside?" said Atem.
Sivarth shrugged as he said,"I honestly those idiots of Swarm were doing something stupid. It isn't that much of a stretch.". "True." said Ana. "So are you going to help daddy?" said Zoey with Wolfram wondering the same. "Yeah. Mind coming with me pup?" said Sivarth. Wolfram nodded with Ana saying,"You'll go to Zane after we drop off the kids.". "Sounds like a plan." said Sivarth, smiling as he got onto Wolfram and the wolf was gone.
Meanwhile, Zane ,who was in costume, sat on the ledge of the church being that his usual perching spot was being occupied. "Every time that I say that I'm not Zero, I'm lying to the people that care about. Brad looks up to me as Zero and kinda respects me as Zero. Should I just tell the truth?" said Zane. "You really shouldn't because you're not an idiot. You wear a mask to protect the people that care about you. You wouldn't want your enemies to know where you live right?" said Twilight.
Zane sighed as he said,"I know that but I'll have to reveal my secret eventually. So do you guys think that with Sivarth, we can beat Megan?". "Of course we can idiot. We're team Legion Zero and we'll defeat/kill Skull Plague one day so this is nothing!" said Kane. Zane smiled as Athena said in a concern tone,"While I may agree with you Kane, Megan is much stronger being that Zane can be broken by her even with his superhuman durability.". "I got it!" said Cole.
Zane looked at the male A.I. as he said,"What?". "We can use Restore Form to cure Megan and prevent her from getting bonded with Toxic again! We did that with Bryan!" said Cole. "That's a good idea Cole." said Athena. Zane smiled as he said,"I think we should put in a test tub just in case we don't have a chance.". "To CPU and then the bitch!" said Kane. "After we get Sivarth, we'll go after Megan." said Twilight. Zane nodded as he flew off to CPU at full speed.
Back at Thunder Cover Detention Center, Agent Tempest was talking to a prisoner. "So you fought against Zero before is it that correct Clifford?" said Tempest. Clifford aka Mystic rolled his eyes as he said,"I sure have and if this Zane brat is Zero, I know a bunch of people would know what to do with that info.". Standing behind him was Barbarian, Jaws, Rampage, Solomon, and Titan with all of them looking serious and wanting revenge on the hero who put them in here.
Back at Cypress High, Brad was currently handing two thugs who decided to attack the high school since Zane aka Zero goes there. "Hey! Get out of here!" said Brad. He tried to attack him with his cane with the first thug easily grabbing it. He yanked it away from Brad, causing him to fall down as the thug said while holding the cane upwards,"Should have stayed to the sidelines.". The cane was soon grabbed by nothing as the two thugs turned to Zane ,in costume, crouching on a lamp post.
Zane shook his head as he said,"Guys. I know that you failed the team but you don't have to take it out on the quarterback. So petty.". "I told you that Zero would show up if we attack the school." said the second thug. "So is he your brains or what muscles? Lets test that theory." said Zane. He soon had the cane covered in candy syrup as he jumped down to the second thug. "Mind holding this for me genius?" said Zane.
Sivarth ,who was back inside of Zane and back to his true appearance, said,"I know that you think that you're funny but do you honestly think that this will work.....". He soon shut up as he saw the thug being unable to let go of the cane. "I blame the criminal system." said Sivarth. Zane shook his head as he saw the first thug running toward him. Zane dodged him as he leg swiped the first thug right to the ground.
The second thug was running toward him being that Zane backflipped and kicked the goon right in the back. The candy syrup soon covered the two in a unbreakable hold as Zane pushed them to the ground with a breathe. The two fell to the ground with the vultures eating it up. "That was both sad and funny at the same time." said Kane. "And that's why you're the best in the business Zero." said Brad. "I guess you have a point there My number one fan so good job." said Zane.
Brad gushed over being called Zero's number one fan as Crisis Judgement went off. "Let's see if he'll still be your fan after this!" said a voice. Zane soon jumped over Megan with him saying,"You're too slow and ugly to hit me Toxic!". He soon kicked Megan over into the crook's car, making the windows shatter and move back. Megan recovered as Zane said,"Everyone who isn't a murdering psychopath! Stay back and away! Sweet Convergence!".
The entire area around him was turned into his candy syrup with him sending the syrup in both tendrils and waves toward Megan. She was soon captured by the candy syrup and began unable to move upon contact. "Why do you resist this Zero? We think that your torture will be quite amazing for us and your enemies to enjoy!" said Megan before her mouth was sealed up by candy syrup. Her entire body was soon covered in the syrup and unable to do anything.
Zane soon collapse the syrup on Megan being that she was soon crushed under a large pile of syrup and Zane knew that she wasn't knocked out. Several holes soon appeared from the pile of syrup being that it was the result of several tendrils coming from Heidi's body. She popped out as she said,"You will be without your powers so enjoy them while you can.". "What are you talking about?" said Zane as Megan smiled.
A mouth soon opened from her chest as she said,"You forget that along with being beautiful, I'm also rather smart. I "borrow" something being that this something has the ability of getting rid of a metahuman's power permanently. We call it the Elixir of Elimination. Once we get you on death's door, we'll get rid of your power and leave you to die!". She soon jumped at him with Zane getting ready to fight.
He evade her first punch but soon got punched in the gut. Before he could do anything about it, he was punched in the face. Zane soon kicked Megan in the chin several times thanks to several legs that came out of his body. Megan soon threw a parked car at Zane who pulled out Lazarus Soul and sliced it in half. Before Megan could do anything, Zane threw a trash can at her which didn't faze her. "Did you think that would work?" said Megan. "Nope but you stink and I don't." said Zane.
Megan smiled as she fired out two webs behind Zane at the car being that Zane soon backflipped over the car. Megan soon fired a web at Zane with her swinging him right into the water fountain as Zane spit out water. Zane soon looked to see Megan standing above him on the school's entryway as Zane said,"Sweet Imprisonment!". He soon created ten sharp looking candy syrup bombs from his body and looked like turquoise grenades. He threw them at her at a high speed.
By jumping into the air, she dodged them missed being that her right arm was covered in candy syrup. She tried to punch Zane being that he dodged it. Zane repeated the attack being that Megan walked toward him before getting stuck in candy syrup. She soon broke out of her prison as she said,"Was that supposed to stop me?". "Kinda." said Zane, putting his sword back in its pocket dimension. "Lets see how you like it!" said Megan.
Zane soon dodged several cannonballs ,that were colored just like her, with Zane saying while in the air,"Vibration Bomb!". Zane soon gathers up a huge amount of Vibration being that he focus it into his hands and he fires it out toward Megan. It's a huge sphere of dark red sound wave which has a noticeable bass sound to it. This attack sent Megan flying and causing her to scream. One of her cannonballs hit Zane with him getting sent right into the wall of the school.
Megan jumped to punch Zane which missed thanks to Zane going intangible and the teen went away from her. Zane soon noticed that she was chasing after her being that his leg was soon grabbed by her webbing and was sent flying right into a wall and then toward a helicopter. Zane crashed into it as he said,"Did anyone get the name of that wall?". Megan soon landed on the helicopter with her soon chasing after him.
Zane soon flew into the air as Megan looked at him at the front of the copter. "I bet you can't get me up here and even if you can, you won't after this. Sweet Roast!" said Zane. Zane soon began inflating his left arm to a massive size being that upon reaching a certain size, it soon exploded and destroying Zane's arm. By doing this, he sent his fist right toward his Megan ,like a rocket fist, and while going toward her, the fist ignites in flames.
It soon slammed right into her and sent her falling to the ground with Zane's left arm regenerating from the attack. Before she could crash, she fired two webs toward the helicopter's blade and pulled them off. The copter went falling toward the ground as Zane caught it and placed it on the ground. As this was going on, Crisis Judgement went off as Zane was soon doubled kicked into the wall of the school and it was breaking. He soon found himself landing in the science lab and landing on a desk.
Megan jumped in after him with her sticking to the wall and roaring. She soon began walking along the ceiling and was about to pounce on Zane. However, the girl soon went into the desk. "That won't work on me!" said Zane. He soon grabbed her with him slamming her into the wall. Megan soon recovered as Zane's arm turned into candy syrup and held her down. "You're not leaving my grasp this time Megan!" said Zane.
Megan smiled as she said,"You're so strong Zero aren't you but are they?". Zane turned to see Karen, Kristen and Petra. "No! Your fight is with me not them!" yelled Zane. This accidentally loosed his grip on her, allowing her to break free and began choking Zane. "Zero!" yelled Karen and Kristen as they wanted to help their boyfriend. "No! Stay back! Go now! She's mine!" yelled Zane as his entire body was engulfed in his flames. "Searing Cowl!" shouted Zane.
He soon punched her back with an explosive effect to it. "You heard the superhero ladies." said Petra as she tried her best to push the two back but neither of them were budging. "Listen to your elders ladies! Blazing Punch!" said Zane. The flames around his feet and hands ,specifically, soon become highly concentrated. He soon launched himself toward Megan being that thanks to the flames around his feet, he caught her off guard by the sudden burst.
He starts off with a kick that hits her stomach, being that she got launched back. He soon gathers all of the flames into his right arm. He soon fires off an enlarged fist of fire being that he sends it rather toward his target. The target is engulfed in flames upon contact with Zane smirking. Megan soon walked through the flames as she said,"These flames of yours are toasty!". Zane soon pointed to the spilled chemicals on the floor and threw a fire ball toward them.
This caused an explosion, causing parts of Toxic to remove themselves from Megan. Zane soon grabbed Megan's head and threw her into the board, causing her to fall down onto the floor. She soon punched Zane into the next floor with her throwing him back out a window and jumped after him as Zane flew into the air. She looked for him as she heard,"Meteor Drill!". Zane's entire body was soon covered in his flames being that over time, his flames slowly grow brighter and stronger.
It looks to be a meteor. He soon comes crashing down onto Megan with him spinning. He was slowly building up a high amount of momentum, closing the distance on him and his target fast. He comes crashing down, causing a giant explosion of fire upon impact. This burrows himself and Megan into the ground. Zane soon flew up and deactivated Searing Cowl upon reaching the height. He picked up the broken fountain ,using his minds, and threw it down onto her.
Zane soon picked her up out of the ground with him throwing her into the school. All around him, the students were running away from the two fighting. Zane was soon grabbed by six webs and pulled in right after her. Stan was evacuating the students with him saying,"Proceed quickly and safely.". Some students, teachers, and Stan soon saw Zane getting thrown into the lockers by Megan. Zane looked up to see Megan breaking through a wall, leaving a hole behind.
She soon swiped at him with him dodging it. The crowd was gone as Megan saying,"Why won't you just let us get our revenge?!". "Because that would be bad for several people and I can't have you hurting the innocent." said Zane. He jumped backwards to evade her swipes. "Stay still!" said Megan as Zane ignored her. "Sweet Puncture!" said Zane. Zane soon began to twisting up his right arm with him making sure that it’s really tight. It soon expands in size.
He soon covers his arms in spikes with him slowly untwisting it. He thrust his arm forward, creating a very powerful stab into whatever is in front of him aka Megan. This attack easily pierced right through her and left a massive, gaping wound in Megan. He didn't even use Vulcan Force as Zane found that he was nearby the music room. He soon smiled as he headed inside. Megan soon followed him as she saw Zane standing there on stage.
Zane was holding a concern with him standing in front of a mic and holding a guitar as his clones were on another guitar and the drums. "Are you ready to rock?!" shouted Zane. "Yeah!" shouted the clones. Megan soon rushed toward Zane before getting blasted by soundwaves. She covered her ears as her costume soon began to remove itself. She was soon on her knees as she sprouted three tendrils and killing the band except for Zane. "Sucker! Vibration Roar!" yelled Zane.
Zane soon gathered up a huge amount of Vibration being that he releases it out of his body through his mouth. It's a huge stream of dark red sound wave which has a noticeable bass sound to it. Megan was sent flying away and through several rooms. "And she's out of here!" said Zane. Zane soon dodged several tendrils with him hearing,"You can't win against your superior!". "Sorry but you will be losing just like the rest of my villains!" said Zane as he rushed toward her.
Stan was soon leading the student down the stairwell before they saw Zane getting sent to them as he was picked up by Stan. "Did you get the name of that hit?" said Zane. He soon looked up to see Megan hanging off the wall. "You need to get the students out of here. I'll handle this one." said Zane as he jumped over the railing with Megan following. She soon fired cannonballs as students watched Zane dodging them.
He soon floated there as Megan missed him. She couldn't recover in time as she crashed into the ground, making a crater. Zane soon stomped onto him, using giant version of his feet. Zane got off her as he looked at her. He walked away from her with Crisis Judgement going off. Webs soon came out of Megan's skin and began attaching themselves to the walls, lifting herself up. She was glaring at him as Zane said,"Sorry not sorry.".
He soon ran away from her being that Megan began chasing after him using her tendrils to move for her. Zane busted his way through the gymnasium doors with Megan coming after him. She looked around and couldn't find him. She walked around before seeing Zane on the roof. She jumped toward him, revealing that it was a hologram of her enemy using Zane's CONEs. She soon roared as she said,"Come out and face me!".
She looked around to see candy syrup in the shape of "0" with the center of them matching the color of his portals. "Nah! Unrivaled Gateway!" said Zane's voice. He soon fired punches all around Megan with her unable to defend herself. She was sent flying toward the bleaches and Zane soon appeared with him throwing an Avalanche Punch on her, breaking the bleachers. She was soon implanting into the ground as Crisis Judgement went off.
He evaded a tendrils that would have hit him in the face. This repeated as the bleachers soon had more and more holes in it. Zane was soon grabbed by one of the tendrils and sent flying away as he recovered. He soon saw the girl throwing the bleachers toward him as he phased through it and was then punched right into the bleachers, with his head in the net. "And she's shoots, she scores!" said Megan. "Yeah but the home team is quite vengeful!" said Zane, launching himself toward her.
A bit later, the students, teachers, and principal was waiting for Zero to finish off the bad guys. The group of Karen, Kristen, Nova, Rain, and Roxy were worried for Zane. "So is he still in there with that monster?" said Nova. "Yeah and he said that he could handle her but he must be tired." said Kristen, grasping her hands together. The crowd soon saw Zane flying through the entryway of the school and landing in the hole where the water fountain once stood.
Zane soon tried to get back up but Megan jumped onto him, breaking his ribs and causing Zane to cough blood onto himself. Megan smiled as she said,"And before I end your powers, I'll end your life!". She soon began punching him with Zane just taking it. She soon jumped back with her body soon having several pointed tendrils and making them pierce Zane's skin. "Zane!" shouted all of team Legion Zero. "And time for you to take your medicine." said Megan.
Zane soon began screaming aloud with his entire body covered in bright purple veins and he felt like his body was going to explode. "Twilight! Can you do anything to stop this?!" said Kane. "I'm doing the best I can but she has injected Zane several times. If I stop one, another one appears in its place." said Twilight. The people were watching Zero screaming in pain and agony and unable to do anything.
Kristen looked at Brad with her saying,"Hey Brad. Could I borrow one of your canes?". "Why?" said Brad. "To save Zero of course." said Rain. "You can't be serious." said Brad. "There is something we have to do." said Karen. "Unless you want your idol to die." said Roxy. Brad was quiet as Nova said with a smile,"You know she's right?". "Okay but we need more than a cane." said Brad. The six soon went to get weapons as Megan opened up a mouth over her stomach.
The entire school was covered in a white web barrier, preventing the media from seeing the execution of Zero. "And now that we are alone." said Megan. She soon held the elixir as she said,"It's time for you to take your medicine Zane!". Before she could pour it down his mouth, she was soon kicked right off Zane and the tendrils were removed from Zane. He looked up to see Wolfram in his more humanoid wolf form. He's just his wolf form but on his hind legs aka bipedal.
He's wearing a pair of ripped blue jeans and spiked knee pads on his knees. "I'm thankful for Wolfram saving us but where did he get those jeans? They're so stylish." said Cole. "Is that really important right now?!" said Kane and Sivarth. "Just ignore him you three. We need to get moving and fast." said Athena. "I'm going fast as I can but this poison is really powerful. I won't give up on him." said Twilight.
Zane was soon dragged out of the hole by Kevin and Heidi ,in costume as Neurozap and Viola, as Zane said,"Neurozap. Viola. What are you two doing here?!". "We're here to defend you Master so lets go you two!" said Wolfram. The two nodded as Heidi said,"Neurozap. I'll keep Zero safe until the others arrive.". "Thanks." said Kevin. Wolfram rushed toward Megan with her saying,"You'll never stop me from getting her dog!".
She soon swiped at him with him dodging up and kicking her in the back and blasting him with White Nether. Kevin soon fired off a strong shockwave of air at Megan, blasting her costume right off her. Before Megan could strike back, she was soon slashed in the center of her body before getting blasted by an energy bullet and plasma bullet plus getting shocked by a giant bolt of lightning. Zane soon saw Allen, Danny, Gwen, and Rachel in costume.
Zane said,"Morph. Everyone. What are you doing here?". "Saving your butt because right now, you're out of commission." said Sly as she floated over to him. "And I leave him to you them." said Heidi as Sly nodded. "You guys. I can help." said Zane, trying to stand back. He was pushed back down by Danny with Allen saying,"So are you sure that you should have done that? He is injured after all Morph.".
Danny sighed as he said,"With stubborn he can, we have to use force to get our point across.". He soon looked at Zane with him saying,"Just relax! Your team is here to save you! You've saved us and helped us more times than we can count Zero. When we become friends, your problems became our problems! Let team Maelstrom handle her!". Zane nodded as he said,"Stay safe. I don't want you any one of you to die when I could have done something.". Danny smiled as he said,"That won't happen.".
Megan laughed as Rachel said,"What's so funny? You kinda knows that the odds are against you right?". "I was fighting your glorious leader at not my full strength. Let me even the odds." said Megan. She soon pulled out a handful of small pills. All of them were an ovular shape with a black and white checkerboard pattern with a skull and crossbones ,with the bones being replaced by two scythes instead, design on the front and back of the pill.
She opened them over all of them over her mouth as a blue candy like powder felt into her mouth as she smiled. Her heartbeat soon increased as she roared. "Um. What's going on?" said Kevin. "I don't know Neurozap but we need to be on our guard." said Gwen. "Which means that you're bringing out the big gun right?" said Heidi. Gwen nodded as Zane could feel that Megan's power was increasing even more than normal.
Her arms and legs had strange blue claw like markings on them. Her body now had increased muscle mass. She roared as she said,"Prepare to die!". Wolfram soon rushed toward her with him landing a powerful kick toward her head, releasing a white Nether explosion. The explosion cleared up as the Phantom's leg was grabbed. "We're now fifty times stronger than normal and that means I can do this!" said Megan.
She soon broke the dog's leg with him howling out in pain. "Wolfram!" thought Zane. The wolf was soon thrown to the side as Megan was blasted by fire from Heidi and plasma from Allen. "Keep on the assault!" yelled Danny. The two nodded as Danny made Phantom Smashers. He soon began punching her with him being grabbed by Megan. She soon fired two tendrils, piercing both Allen and Heidi and knocking them out.
Megan said,"Is that the best you weaklings got?". Her right arm was soon sliced off and then the wound was soon melted by Kevin. Danny was dropped as he saw his girlfriend holding the new version of Time Rune. It was given upgraded by James Singleton and was given the name Infinite Rune. It was now a double-edged katana. The blade is black with a golden edge. The grip of the blade is wrapped in white bandage like cloth. The sword has a tsuba hand-guard in the shape of a gold clock.
Gwen covered her blade in her Animus and rushed toward Megan. Upon getting close, she began slashing her with each strike releasing powerful shockwaves. Gwen combined electricity into her slash and stunning Megan. "Neurozap! Morph! Attack!" yelled Gwen. Danny nodded as he soon blasted the Vordlarin with the Spook Howitzer and Kevin fired several energy bullets. Megan roared as she soon grabbed the trio with her tendrils. "Die!!!" roared Megan.
Megan punched them with them sent flying away. "You guys!" shouted Zane. Megan stomped toward her with her stopped by Danny. She turned to him as he said,"You're not going to kill my best friend no my brother!". Megan kicked him into the school with Zane growling. Megan began her way back to Zane with the ground breaking under each step. She was stopped by a football directly to the face with her hearing,"Leave him alone!".
Zane turned to see Kristen standing there with Zane saying,"Get out of here!". "Shut up Zero! You are way too strong to give up and we won't let you die! Now!" shouted Kristen. The five girls of his harem rushed toward Megan, smacking her with metallic bats. All of them were soon grabbed by Megan with Zane saying,"Let them go right now.". He soon began standing up as he couldn't. "I infected you with my blood and this makes you unable to fight back." said Megan.
Sly soon blasted her with lightning as she said,"But I can! Drop the girls now!". Megan smiled as she bitch slapped the Akostar. "Sly!" shouted Zane. "Look at you Zane. You're nothing more than a pathetic excuse for a Zero. Lets see what happens when I kill someone close to you and make you feel the pain you put us through!" said Megan. She was about to pierce the girls with Zane shouting,"No! Don't!".
He soon felt his Essence beat louder than normal as he began hearing an unknown voice in his head which sounded familiar to him,"You have broken the Omni-Door with your potential just waiting to be created. Show this fool the power that I gave you Zero.". Zane glared at Megan who stepped back. She felt a powerful aura coming from Zane with her dropping the girls. The five girls soon felt the aura coming off Zane with it not being pleasant and he looked deadly.
Meanwhile in an unknown black void, Zane was also there. He was unable to move with him unable to sense anything. "Where the hell am I? I can't sense anything or move. I was fighting Megan and she had hurt everyone I care about." said Zane. He soon clenched his fist as he heard,"Hey there so welcome. I mean it's been so long since we've last seen each other.". Zane turned around to see a large shadow figure floating right behind him with him smiling.
Zane took a closer look at it with his eye widening. "Lucifer?! You're actually a living being?!" said Zane. Lucifer smiled as he said,"I thought we would have meet in person much earlier but I guess you were busy with life stuff. We've been pals since you opened my chest and began using my powers.". "So why are you talking to me now man?" said Zane. "When you create me, you let me interact with the physical world so it's time for you to let me do that." said Lucifer.
Zane dodged his swipe with him saying,"Why are you attacking me?! I can just summon you but smaller of course.". "Idiot. You want to defeat the bitch who is hurting your friends and if you let me take over, you can do that." said Lucifer. Zane looked right at him being that Lucifer swiped at him. Instead of dodging, Zane jumped onto him. "Sorry but that isn't happening! I'll be taking over you instead!" shouted Zane.
Lucifer looked at him with him saying,"Really? I mean you got your ass kicked pretty bad plus she's much stronger than the princess.". "I don't care because my friends defend themselves and got hurt for me! As a man, I can't allow that to go on any longer!" said Zane. Lucifer soon laughed out loud as he said,"Okay kid! Show her the power of Lucifer, the Chirotirian!". Zane looked confused as Lucifer said,"I'll tell you later.". Zane nodded as he soon began focusing.
Back in the outside world, the girls, Team Maelstrom, and Megan soon saw Zane being that he had transformed. His skin turns dark gray with glowing crimson red eyes with both pupils slitted. His hair goes upwards and flows into the air like it’s living energy or flowing through the wind. When he’s Zero, his ash gray/ash blonde gains a single obsidian black streak. His mouth is filled with sharp pointed teeth.
His arms and legs are covered in obsidian black scales with it forming claws on his fingers and toes with his arms and legs looking draconic. He’s constantly emitting misty wisps of obsidian black energy. He’s bare-footed ,with his shoes going missing, and in the center of his forehead, he has a fluorescent white marking resembles a single spiral. He has two long, steel gray dragon claw like protrusions sprouting from his shoulders.
He stood up, revealing that he isn't touching the ground and is floating there. "What the? We infect you with enough poison to kill a normal being!" said Megan. "Sorry but that poison was nothing but a way to surpass the limits on myself. I've been holding back against you and I'm sorry. My head is clear now and power is coming out of me in spades." said Zane with his voice sounding more demonic but keeping his normal tone.
He soon began radiating intense waves of pure Impulse, causing Megan to tense up. "Go the hell away then and die!" yelled Megan. She soon soon fired several tendrils toward him with Zane only smiling. He easily dodged them as he floated toward Megan. "Time to finish this. There is no escape from me." said Zane. Megan soon jumped toward the roof of the school with her saying,"No! We won't lose to you! Your life will be ruined not ours!".
She soon turned both of her arms into cannons with her firing a huge energy bullet down onto Zane with him saying,"That's cute. You think that will work on me. Predatory Ransack.". He soon made a massive storm of Impulse ,matching the obsidian black energy that's coming off him, and the energy bullet was soon absorbed into him. Zane soon bent his knees with him saying,"Time to slice and dice you a peg bitch!". He soon made a sword appear with Gwen noticing that it was new.
Zane called it by striking his closed fist ,either his left or right, into the other hand open palm. Upon doing this, his sword appears in front of him and grabs it within second of it appearing. It looks like a mixture of a broadsword, cutlass, and rapier. It’s a double-edged blade being that it looks much heavier than the rest of Zane’s swords but the teen swings it around like it weighs nothing at all to him.
It’s both slender and bulky being about three feet tall and one foot wide. The curved blade itself is pure steel gray with molten gold lining on both edges. The tip of the blade is pointed and notched on both sides of the tip. and the base of the sword goes inward, creating an angle. The blade and hilt are separated from each other by connected by a fuller. The hilt looks like a golden vajra. It does have crimson red flame-like marking.
The wooden grip has a chain and scale like design to it. The pommel is a silver dragon like fang sticking out. Despite its size, it does have a scabbard. The scabbard for the sword is pure black with a thick crimson red line running down the middle of it. He usually keeps the sheathed attached to his right hip when he summons it. He soon jumped right toward her with Rachel thinking,"Zane. How strong are you really? Could you be stronger enough to save me from my destiny?".
Megan poured energy down onto Zane who just went right through it as she shouted,"No! My plan was perfect! I was giving power by the Reaper Powder and her! We will not lose!". "You lost this fight because unlike you, I have the power of my friends and allies boosting me! This is for everyone that you hurt! Predatory Smite!" said Zane. He soon covered his sword in the same obsidian energy that was radiating off and sliced Megan, causing her blood to splatter everywhere on the roof.
Zane soon threw Megan right toward the ground with her unable to move thanks to the crater that she made. Zane walked toward her with Danny thinking,"Is he going to kill her?". Zane soon stood in front of Megan with him saying,"I'm going to enjoy this bitch.". He soon held a vial with dark indigo liquid and Zane smiled. "Time for the doctor to give you your medicine." said Zane. He soon opened the vial over Megan's mouth and she soon swallowed it. "NO!" said Megan.
She was slowly begin to move back and forth with the suit slowly leaving Megan's body. She saw her right arm was back to her normal appearance being that she lost her strength that she gained from the drug she had taken. "No!" said Megan. She slowly arose from her crater and tried to back swipe at Zane who dodged it. With each step, part of the suit was slowly leaving her. "No. You can't leave me Toxic! We have the power to kill Zane who made us look stupid." said Megan.
Team Maelstrom and Zane's harem ,excluding Sierra, watched Megan on her knees as Toxic soon went off her body and went into a liquid form. "No! Don't leave me!" said Megan. Toxic tried to escape but she was stopped by Zane which soon grabbed her using a giant jar made of obsidian black energy. "You won't be leaving like you did last time." said Zane. "Give her back! She belongs to me and me alone Zit Face!" yelled Megan.
Zane sighed as he placed his claw on her shoulder. "Megan. It's over. You're free and hopefully, you can stop be such a bitch." said Zane. "Wow. You're rather blunt." said Cole. "She tried to kill him and his friends so many times so calling her a bitch is being nice." said Athena. "No. You ruined my life and I'll never forget you for that." said Megan. She was soon knocked out with a karate chop to the back with Zane saying,"Well, I tried. Lets hope you can get the help you needed.".
Danny slowly stood back up as he said,"Okay. Several questions. Are you going to erase her memory Zane? What is that new transformation of yours? It reminds me of Lucifer.". Zane deactivated it as he said,"I'll have him explain it to you when he explains it to me and my team. Let me heal you guys before I get rid of the barrier. Sweet Arena.". He soon released a large amount of candy syrup with it slowly covering the area all around him.
Several large snake like dragon rose from the ground. Team Maelstrom and his harem were soon trapped by crucifixes rise up and restrain those within range. They have their arms, legs, and stomach bound by the crucifixes. They were slowly being healed by the candy syrup as Zane took a look at the barrier and then Megan. He erased the memory of Megan knowing that Zane is Zero as he decided to burn away the webbing that surrounded the school.
A bit later, the cops arrived to arrest the two crooks who attacked the school before the arrival of Toxic Widow. Megan herself was currently being wheeled away to an ambulance. She was strapped down to a gurney and said,"She'll come back to me Zero! We belong together! We're Toxic Widow and we will kill you!". She was soon placed in the ambulance with Brad saying,"Yep. That chick is more crazy than crazy than can be.".
Back at CPU, Max and Sharon were still recovering from Megan attacking them with Noah being there. He noticed that one of their vials were missing as Noah said,"So you let that creature take one of our vials and then our town's protector. The latter may have returned it but this still shows that this lab has the worst security in town. I'm asking the board to transfer the lab management to me. After all, I'm the most distinguished scientist in town.".
Sharon said,"But me and Max build this lab together you overrated....". Her mouth was covered by Max as he said,"She's right Noah. We built this lab together to help metahumans because they're still people.". "No they aren't now dumbass. I'll be firing you two if you try and stop this change from metahuman help to metahuman elimination. Swarm will be coming in here and making this a place to handle them if they get out of hand which includes our town protectors." said Max.
Back at the CPPD (Cypress Park Police Department), Agent Quake said,"So officer Ramona, I have two questions for you. Do you think Zane Alvarez is Legion Zero and would you go out on a day with me this Saturday?". The detective looked uncomfortable as Quake was smacked by Roland. "I don't pay for flirting when you should be showing me what you and your idiots found on that brat being Legion Zero!" shouted Roland.
A bit later in Scott's office, Zane was in there with Scott plus the agents of Swarm and Roland. "So this Brad kid told me that Zane here was dressed up as Zero for Halloween except it was an older costume of his plus it was two years ago." said Marilyn. She pointed to the TV monitor that showed a paused image of Zane in his Gamma costume, talking with his friends. "I highly doubt that Zero would be that stupid to show his face out in public." said Marilyn.
Lucifer said,"Hey kid. I guess we owe Brad a thanks for saving our identity.". Ever since Zane had been using Predator State, Zane had a new voice in his head and no one else could it. "Yeah. So are you ready to face the music?" said Zane. "Kinda but if your friends are accepting, this won't be a problem." said Lucifer. The agents of Swarm were gone along with Roland who was mad about not finding any solid proof about Zane being Zero. Zane sighed as Scott said,"You seem happy kid.".
Zane looked at the police captain as he said,"Yeah. I mean the vultures are going to leave me alone until I reveal my secret on my terms hopefully.". "I always that the whole masked vigilant thing was stupid but your identity as Zero came out without the right precautions in place, everyone you care about would be in constant danger. A man in the mask has nothing to hide but something to protect am I right son?" said Scott. "Yeah." said Zane.
Scott soon heard his radio go off,"All cars, the super villain duo of Downpour and Steamroller have been seen robbing the bank on fifth street. Please advice caution.". "So do I even need to ask where you're going kid?" said Scott. Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. I do owe an explanation to my friends about my new powers but it's time to kick super villain but.". "Well, I wish you luck kid." said Scott as Zane flew off as Legion Zero.
Meanwhile at Champion Tech, Lilith was looking over the recorded footage of Megan vs Zane all four times being the fight after Zane defeated Igor, the fight before the fire that was stopped by Zane and Bryan, the fight at the college, and the fight at the high school. She was impressed with the new bio-suit that she made using Darth who wasn't happy about it. "So do you want me to go collect the Subject from Thunder Cove?" said a voice.
She turned to see Anthony standing there with Lilith saying,"Nope. I'll have him doing it.". "You seem so sure about him being able to do this. I mean he may be the result of yours and Rocco's hard labor but it seems that he's quite rebellious." said Anthony. "You may not remember this but we were the same back then. Don't worry. In time, he will come to respect us and he will be the one to kill our enemy." said Lilith.
The next day, Zane was slowly but surely making his way back to his secret base to meet up with his team being that they need to have a chat about Zane's new power and also about Rachel. He knew that it was a massive elephant in the room with him unable to keep the secret anymore. He was currently talking with Lucifer about it since he was a new opinion to add. "So what do think I should do? I mean this could seriously ruin our friendship." said Zane.
While flying to his base and in costume, Zane ran a hand over his face as Lucifer said,"If you two are going to be working together, I don't think secrets are good between your team. A team works better when everyone can work together. That's how you and the rest of Team Legion Zero work so well.". Zane soon saw his tower getting closer as he said,"That make sense. So can Predator State affect my other transformations?".
Lucifer smiled as he said,"Hell yeah it can. It can't affect forms that was created by the booger maybe. Not sure but we'll figure it out but like Arctic Shift and that kind of crap, we'll be able to have fun with making our enemies look really stupid. I do think that we should do some team building exercise. Your team is strong but we need to be ready for anything.". "If you can convince them, I'm all for it." said Zane. Zane soon entered his home and looked for someone.
He soon spotted Rachel sitting down on the sofa, drinking a cup of tea and reading a book. "So how did you get into my house?" said Zane, getting her attention. "Athena let me in being that I told her not to tell you." said Rachel. She closed the book that she was reading and placed the cup of tea back on the saucer of the coffee table in front of her. "Yeah. You don't think that Athena would be one for jokes but hey don't judge a book by its cover." said Zane.
He soon sat on the couch next to her as he said,"So are you mad at me?". "For what?" said Rachel as she looked at him. "For keeping Lucifer a secret for you guys. To be honest, I didn't know about him either until yesterday. I mean I told you about what I got my sweet tattoo on the back of my neck but Lucifer actually being alive is a different story." said Zane, rubbing the back of his head. "It's fine Zane. I'm kinda used it by now." said Rachel.
Zane sighed as he said,"That isn't a good thing you know.". "Then you shouldn't hide any secrets between us. We're your friends after all and friends don't keep secrets." said Rachel. "So are you hiding anything from me?" said Zane. Rachel looked at him with him saying,"Kane and Sivarth know about what you truly are even though I told them not to. I trust you without any hesitation because after all of this time, you're one of my two closest friends.".
He looked down at the table and he was unable to look her in the eyes. "You're someone that I can go to for support and someone who will tell me what I need to hear which is something that I'm quite thankful for. I usually go with my gut and it usually never leads me astray. You should be angry with me for invading your privacy and I totally understand." said Zane. He kept his head down while he said this with him not noticing her getting close to him.
Zane soon felt Rachel's arms wrap around her neck and pulled him into a tight hug. Her breasts soon pressed onto his back being that Zane wasn't thinking about it at the moment. Her head rested on his shoulder and her cheek touched his as she hugged him rather affectionately. "You're an idiot you know that Zane? You'l always be my best friend no matter what you do and if I'm honest, I really should have told you and the others about me a long time ago." said Rachel.
Zane looked at Rachel with him saying,"Really? So you're not mad at me.". "Nope. You're the type of guy who gives everything that he can for the people that he cares about. From what I've seen, people like you are hard to find since you have limitless potential." said Rachel. She cupped his cheek gently as she pulled his head around to face her. "You're my best friend so even though I'm a devil and you are a Cross-Species, makes me proud to be your best ,female, friend." said Rachel.
She kissed his forehead, causing Zane to blush. Rachel soon pulled away from Zane with her smile growing more seductive. "Here's a kiss to improve your stamina. I'm going to have stop being so close toward you or else your girlfriends will get jealous and attack little old me." said Rachel with Zane's eyes widening. He soon looked behind him to see Karen, Kristen, Nova, Rain, Roxy, and Sierra standing there with the latter having an upset look on her face.
Zane jumped up to his feet and shouted,"I wasn't cheating you guys! I swear on Cole's life! And what are you doing here Sierra? I mean I'm happy to see you but you should be at Arcadia U!". "Why are you throwing me under the bus?!" said Cole. Sierra shuffled on her heels and averted her eyes from Zane, looking at the floor. "I wanted to tell you that I'm going to come here and help you but you were busy with the whole Toxic thing but I come in and see this." said Sierra.
Sierra said with a bright red face,"I know that you and Rachel are closer than most people plus she's way prettier than me plus since she's a devil, she'll do things that I wouldn't do until we're married which may or may not happen now. Oh! I shouldn't think like that since I know that you love me and I love you but I'm so jealous!". She shook her head back and forth with Roxy comforting her. "Yeah. I kinda got used to their flirting but since this is your first time, I understand completely." said Roxy.
Rachel soon rolled her eyes as she said,"It wasn't flirting. If it was, Zane would be completely rolled around my finger.". "Hey! I'm not that easy to seduce!" said Zane. "So you admit that you're easy in some way huh Zane." said Nova, causing Zane to sulk a bit. The front door to Zane's apartments soon opened up to reveal Danny and Gwen. "Hey there man. So how did you take the news about our best friend Rae?" said Danny.
Zane looked at Rachel who whistled. "I may have told the others about me a devil when we were at Havana Brews." said Rachel. "Technically Zane, you weren't the last to know since Kane and Sivarth told you about her already." said Karen. "Yeah but I...." said Zane, having Kristen placing a finger over his mouth. "Zaney. Lets just enjoy the party." said Kristen. "What party?" said Zane. "All of us are going to welcoming Sierra to Cypress Park." said Rain.
Zane blinked as he said,"And it's taking place at my place because?". "Do you not want me here? I'll leave if you want." said Sierra, sulking. "Nope. I just would have liked some calcification before hand but in my life, random things just seem to happen and not by choice." said Zane. He soon sensed something as Rachel noticed this. "What's up?" said Rachel. "I'll be right back and then we can party like nothing else." said Zane. He was gone as the party began.
Outside of the tower, a strange creature was watching this scene. It looked to be an red lizard like creature with four legs, two wings, and a tail. It looked to be a noticeable height with him being four feet tall. Its eyes soon shined red with a voice coming from the lizard like a speaker,"Enjoy your life while you can Rachel. Your eighteenth birthday is coming up soon and I doubt that you can stop me.". "Didn't your mom tell you that it isn't nice to spy on people?" said a voice.
The lizard widened its eyes as he heard a voice. The lizard soon extended is wings trying to escape since it was discovered but it was unable to move thanks to the candy syrup around its legs. "It's cute to see you trying to run when you have no way of escaping." said the voice. The lizard turned around to see Zane standing there with him smiling. "I sensed you coming from a mile away and I may not know what's going on you but I won't let you hurt Rae." said Zane.
The lizard was soon gone with Zane sighing. "Yep. That's a familiar alright. I think that only humans with Animus or the supernatural can even use familiars. Summoners may be my least favorite class but the familiar can be powerful but it heavily depends on the summoner in question. Anyway, I need to get back to the others." said Zane with his eyes narrowing. He soon went back to the others with him getting ready for the worst to come and he didn't tell anyone about meeting the lizard.

Who did that familiar belong to? What did Rachel mean by Zane could save her? What else can Predator State do? Why is Derrick and Lilith using Darth to make bio-suits? Will all of this been answered?! This and more next time on Zero!

Reaper Powder. This drug is a small pill. It's an ovular shape with a black and white checkerboard pattern with a skull and crossbones ,with the bones being replaced by scythes instead, design on the front and back of the pill. Inside of the pill, there is a blue candy like powder. They are waterproof. Anyone who takes has strange blue claw like markings on their arms and legs alongside their tongue that turns bright blue. When taken, it greatly enhances the physical strength of the consumer. Some consumer have the possibility of increased muscle mass. It can enhance the strength of the consumer by five. It's also cumulative being that two pills will make it ten fold and each intake will continue to increase the strength exponentially. It gives the user a high degree of pain tolerance and can work as a painkiller. It can also revive an unconscious person immediately. The effects are temporary, only last for about thirty minutes upon taking the first pill. Light usage of the drug isn't too bad but too much of it can cause permanent damage being that it can shave time of the consumer's lifespan. This is shown by taking the innate strength of the consumer and amplify but at the same time, it accelerates their aging process if taken too many pills at once. The consumer's personality becomes consumed by a desire to fight and blinded by rage.
