A/N: Yep. The title makes no sense but that's normal for me. You may wonder why I keep bringing up but I just like to remind myself about this fact. I tend to forget about events and ideas that I've introduced in Zero. You may have noticed that I do that being that I tend to write as I go. I mentioned how that's a bad thing if you're getting paid to write but since I'm not getting paid, this isn't a problem in my book. Now does good writing impact a product?
I would say that it doesn't but to some people like me, it does. I mean I can't watch part of my favorite manga/anime series just because of the writing fumbles in the final arc. People could also hate one of the most financial movies of all times just because of the story and the story dealing with the highly convoluted plot elements of fiction aka time travel. I mentioned that I wouldn't spoil the movie but man, time travel is way to mess up your story.
I wrote an entire post about how I'm doing time travel for this, Fairy Legion maybe, and the DC story which is still in the work and hopefully it'll be good. This episode is part of a story arc involving an old villain who has shafted by another and decided to take revenge. We're just getting started and hopefully by the end of Zero, we end with over 150 episodes. This won't be when we start the DC story since I have a certain event planned for Zane and the gang to handle.
It'll be pretty big. Anyway lets begin in Cypress Park's main training ground which is the warehouse district of the city. Most of the warehouse district is owned by the mob. However, the good guy can also use warehouses but they tend to use the junkyard since the junkyard is actually pretty good for different types of training and also, it's also a mess. This episode is going to be a very long one because why not.
Narrator P.O.V.
In an abandoned warehouse, there was some team bonding. Several beams of golden electricity were being blasted inside of it, causing parts of the building to explode. Someone stood there with the gold electricity focused around their arms. He has glowing yellow skin with him having golden blond hair that goes down to his chin and covering his red eyes. He wears a black bandanna over his mouth. He has several golden electricity sparks coming off his body.
He's wearing an black v-neck jumpsuit with a gold lightning bolt pattern all over his suit. He wears silver metal plating over his arms, chest, and legs. He wears black boots. He was looking for a single person being that he soon heard his target moving. He looked up to see his target moving throughout the ceilings and he fired at the target, causing the target to fly away just in time. "Okay there. You're getting real fast there Acrobat but I'll stop you!" said the man.
He soon fired beams of electricity toward the figure with the target bouncing across the warehouse and then slammed right into the meta human's back, knocking him to the ground. "You got lucky but you aren't making Topaz look stupid!" said Topaz. He soon turned around and fired his electricity at his target, sending him flying into a pipe and falling onto some boxes below. Topaz soon looked at his target, showing Acrobat.
He's wearing a gray helmet over his head with a singular gray and red stripe on it. His face is clearly exposed meaning that you can see his brown eyes, monopoly man mustache, and his Spanish heritage. He's wearing a gray jump suit with black armor padding over his chest, elbows, knees, legs, and upper arms. He still wearing black dance shoes and gloves. The electricity man soon jumped back to evade a giant of a man trying to hit him.
He's wearing a forest green and vermilion red jumpsuit with a hood. It's vermilion red over the head part and upper body. It's forest green over the arms. chest, and legs. In the center of his jumpsuit, he has "Atlas" written there and it's a silver color. His hood covers his head and eyes, showing off his African American heritage. His brown hair is now slightly longer and sticking out of his hood. He wears silver large, round mechanical boots and gauntlets on each forearm.
Topaz fired a burst of electricity at the giant. He somehow dodging the attack given his size. The man soon grabbed a giant piece of metal with him throwing it at Topaz. Before the metal could hit him, it was blasted to pieces by electricity. He soon got hit in the chest by a kick from Acrobat. Topaz tried to hit him but Acrobat jumped around the warehouse, evading the shots with ease. During this, the giant soon grabbed a giant beam and smacked it right into Topaz, knocking him to the ground.
Both Acrobat and the giant walked toward Topaz with him hearing,"And that's a wrap boys. You did good doc.". The two turned to see Engineer standing there with Thomas. "And you Jerald. I thought that given you one of the vials of Chemical PX we scored on our last raid would have been a good idea but you messed up." said Thomas. "Don't be so rude. Acrobat's suit increases his speed over time and then he can release it to increase the power of his attacks." said Donald.
Donald walked up to Acrobat with him saying,"And it fits you well. They say that it's a waste to get measurements but it isn't too tight or large on you so perfect.". Topaz recovered as he said,"Sorry there boss. Won't happen again. Good match Cedric and Rudy.". "At least, you're being a fair sport about this sparky." said Rudy aka Acrobat. Atlas aka Cedric nodded as Donald said,"So why didn't you change your codename to something more super villain like?".
Atlas looked at the doctor who said,"I don't want to.". "That's fair. So you want to bring these boys out for a test ride there boss?" said Thomas, turning to a shadow above them. Andrew stood there with two others. One was Pierce and the other one looked like a humanoid bug. Pierce's skin is now a silver with it looking metallic. His face still looks rather tied and his eyes still looking rather thin. His hair is still shoulder length with it being made out of metal rather than hair.
He's wearing a black combat vest with matching black shirt revealing his arm up to his elbow, black fingerless gloves, gray pants, and black combat boots. He's currently holding his gray helmet with a gold T-shaped design over the face. The bug man ,whose name is Hornet, is wearing an all white jumpsuit with a hood covering his head. He has four green eyes which are insect like like and slanted sharply inwards. He has four bee like wings protruding from his back.
He has long red hair that looks like a lion mane and parts of his hair is in a mohawk and has a small goatee. He has two small ,triangular, ears and visibly sharp teeth. He wears the same clothing as Pierce did before he got his powers. It's a black combat vest with matching black shirt revealing his arm up to his elbow, black fingerless gloves, gray pants, and black combat boots. "I like what I see so lets bring out the new Tremendous against Zero." said Andrew, smiling.
The next morning, Andrew was sitting in his office and was working on something. He soon looked up to see Taurus stomping his way into his office. "So what's wrong? Trouble at the club. If it isn't that important, tell it to Monique." said Andrew. "You went to the Tremendous?!" yelled Taurus. "I do so?" said Andrew. "Since when does the boss go to the hired help in dealing with Zero? And why are you funding that brat's company?! He's making prisons to keep our boys in jail!" said Taurus.
Andrew sighed as he said,"Reactor is getting released from prison very soon. I'm sure that both he and Mastermind are going to try and usurp my spot as crime boss of the city. I need to get an army to work with so the Tremendous are my super powered army. As for me sponsoring Zane's company despite him building prisons to hold my army in jail, I see greatness and myself in the boy so why wouldn't I support his idea for the future?".
Taurus was quiet as he soon said,"Okay fine. I'll respect your opinion there boss but tell me this. Why the hell have I been kept out of the loop like that?" said Taurus. As a response to this, Andrew walked right over to a giant punching bag ,that he had in there, with him beginning to punch it. "For several reasons Taurus. Let me start from the very beginning." said Andrew. Taurus listened being that it was in his best interest for him to listen.
Andrew soon began punching the bag as he said,"We've had several of our operations stopped by the duo of Crimson Spade and Legion Zero. We were unable to obtained the data for the army of those alien monsters who were about to injure Zero to an impressive degree. I can tell that you really need a a break. You seem so busy in creating people to keep Zero and his super powered friends busy while we do business and you're doing such a great job.".
Taurus looked at his boss and he said,"With all of the freaks in costume running around, Zero and his friends are busy boss! So why spend money on these hired mercenaries instead on the idiots who will work for us for free?". In response, Andrew cocked his right fist as he said,"It's because we need to assert our dominance over our enemies Taurus.". The man punched the punching bag so hard, causing the sand that was leaving the bag to gush out and spread on the floor.
Taurus knew that his boss was known for his brain rather than his brawn but he isn't a slouch when it comes to hand to hand combat at all. "You used to know how it means to assert dominance but now Taurus, you've gotten lazy. Get out of here before I have Razor slice you up. I have to get ready for lunch. Zane is a very busy man and I hate to waste time. Men of power like us don't deserve to have our time wasted." said Andrew with Taurus standing there, looking confused and angered.
Outside of the building, this scene was being watched by Cosmonaut. He was currently talking to his boss as he said,"Are you getting this Mastermind?". "Yes Craig. It seems that Andrew is planning for the impending war between the four of us." said George's voice on the other end. "And what do you mean by that? I thought that this war was between you, Gold Commander, and Reactor." said Craig as he looked confused.
George chuckled as he said,"Oh Craig. So ignorant of the factor that has stopped all three of us many times before. He's a man who will never stopping fighting against us until we're either stopped by his actions and or dead.". Craig was quiet as George said,"Oh well. It's fine. Report back to base. I think I will respond to the Tremendous by bringing our A-list actor.". "Understood." said Craig, flying off to a unknown location.
Later, Zane ,in his Zeta Costume, was flying through the city and heading toward Cypress High just in time for Scott's class. "This is just the best. Everything involving my company is going smoothly, I had a really good lunch, and it's looking like Valentine Day is going to the best one I've ever had in my short but interesting life." said Zane. He soon overheard police sirens below him and he said with a smile,"And it's time for me to get some crime fighting down before class.".
Zane looked down to see a bank with a big hole in the center of it. He soon saw five figures exiting through the hole in the wall. All of them stuck out to Zane with four of them holding bags of clearly stolen money and the last one isn't. The one who isn't holding a bag of money looks to be ten feet tall and looks to be made out of completely transparent dark green slime with a dark reddish hue. Zane soon guessed that the slime creature was male due to the human skeleton floating inside of the slime.
Instead of bone, the skeleton looked to made out of grayish stone. He has massive arms and legs with his arms looking longer than his legs. Due to him currently standing up straight, his arms reaching his knees. He has two large and round green eyes with a mouth filled with sharp yellow teeth. His heart is also visible inside of the skeleton. The other four figures looked to be the same as the giant slime monster but much smaller, looking to be the height of normal teenagers.
Zane soon blinked as he said,"Yep. This is the result of Chemical PX or something else gone horribly wrong.". He soon saw the five about to leave with Zane saying,"Not happening.". One of the smaller slime monsters were about to head toward a nearby sewer drain but was then stopped by a wall of snakes. The five were soon surrounded by the serpents. The big slime monster looked up to see Zane standing there with him saying,"Sorry but you and your gunk gang won't be leaving.".
The giant slime monster roared as one of the smaller monster said,"Let us leave now human or you'll suffer.". "Sorry but stopping robberies is kinda in my job description of being a hero." said Zane as he soon saw the snakes being melted away by the slime creatures. "Ah! You just made them using Serpent Capture! They were so young!" said Cole. Zane rolled his eyes at Cole's scene as Crisis Judgement went off. Zane soon jumped back to evade some slime blasts.
He soon saw that the area that the slime hit was now covered in it and to him, it looked rather durable to him. The giant slime monster roared as one of the smaller member said,"Okay master. We'll handle him so we can deliver the money to the boss.". Two of the smaller slime monsters soon fired several balls of their bodies toward Zane who either dodged them and letting them stick onto the ground or caught them inside of Impulse jars. Zane soon transformed into a new form.

Zane is now a volcano like creature with a masculine humanoid frame. He's twelve feet tall. His rock like skin are a dark gray and this is due to him being made out of cooled rocks. His body has red/orange symmetrical rims, indicating lava flow. These rims are similar to veins. His head is connected to his body directly with no noticeable neck. He has two glowing orange diamond-shaped eyes with thick maroon ridges. These ridges mimic eyebrows.
His mouth is a silver respirator with a maroon colored ring. He seems to lack any teeth. His arms and legs are quite massive with them looking similar to a cannon. He has five short thin claws which he uses for his fingers and toes respectively. He's wearing a black muscle shirt with a red flame like pattern in the center of it. He wears maroon combat shorts that go past his knees. He wears no shoes. Zane has a normal black bandanna wrapped around his head.
Zane has five small pools of lava that form hair that constantly swirls around. These pools of lava come out of silver nozzles. He has two miniature volcanoes protruding right from his shoulders with both of them constantly pouring out lava out of them but never touching the ground. It's also producing steam whenever he isn't in action. He wears Zane's black robe on his shoulder. The slime monsters looked at Zane who smiled.
He raised his arms with him saying,"This form may remind me but whatever. Time for Magma Form to shine! Hellfire Emperor Brimstone Eagle!". Above him, a large spherical flame appear and it turns into an eagle. This spell was formed from the volcano coming out of Zane's shoulders. Upon being fired, the flame flies right toward the slime trio at an incredible speed leaving behind a trail of fire.
Seeing that their master could be hurt from these flames, two of the slime monsters jumped in front of the flame bird. It caused an explosion of fire and destroy both of them. "Okay. Heat/fire destroys them easily. Good to know that they're not human at all so don't feel too bad about this." said Zane. Zane didn't noticed that one of the slime monsters was about to hit him but was then hit by a car with its slime spreading everywhere around Zane.
The parts of the slime that touched Zane instantly evaporated and turning into steam. Zane soon turned to see Efren ,with him wearing his costume aka the outfit that he was given in Zero Episode 121, as Efren said,"Don't worry Captain! I'm here to help.". "Shouldn't he be at work?" said Azalea with Kane shrugging. "Thanks and watch out." said Zane. Efren soon turned to see the giant slime monster about to attack him with a giant slime fist.
Efren threw Zane a thumbs up as he said,"Don't worry! I can handle this overgrown booger!". Efren soon caught the giant slime monster's fist being that Efren soon noticed that his arms were dissolving right in front of him. "So is this supposed to be painful or what?" said Efren. "No idea. I mean we can regenerate limbs so I don't think we should talk." said Zane, shrugging his shoulders. Zane soon turned both arms into magma.
The arms soon expanded and Zane soon sent them forward toward the slime fist. Zane's fist were like a rocket punch. The magma instantly melted the slime upon contact with the giant slime soon roaring in pain. Efren ,whose arms were slowly regrowing, smiled as he said,"We got him now. Just bring the heat!". "So is it just you who is bad at making puns or are you making them bad on purpose?" said Athena. "Yes and no." said Zane.
The living volcano soon aimed both of his shoulders at the giant slime monster with two streams of lava soon hitting the giant, causing it to scream and cover the area in steam. As the steam cleared, Efren and Zane saw all of the bags of money on the floor with Efren turning to Zane. "So nice job there Captain." said Efren. "Thanks for the help but I'm still curious on what that thing has in the first place." said Zane, cupping his chin with his hand.
Efren nodded as he said,"Well said. So how are you going to get rid of those?". He was pointing to the slime that was on the ground. "Testing a theory of mine. As you've seen, the slime can't handle heat and most slime can't handle the cold either. I'll be freezing them and then breaking the slime. So do you mind helping me with this?" said Zane as he turned into Salamander Form. "Hell yeah!" said Efren.
In the nearby sewer crate, one of the slime monster ,being the only survivor, soon began to transform into the giant slime monster. He was watching Zane freezing the slime that was on the ground with him and Efren smashing them. The slime monster soon turned into slime and went off.
After cleaning up and dropping off Efren, Zane ,out of Magma Form and had changed into his casual clothing, was walking toward Cypress High. "So since we're done with the living slime, I have to ask you this very important Zane. So why did you have lunch with one of the three or four leaders of the Odium Society? I saw three or four because I'm not sure. They're your enemies not your friends and I have to ask why you're doing this." said Twilight.
Zane was soon by the dumpster nearby the football field as he said,"Because of an old and classic Earth saying Twilight. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.". "Yeah Twilight. I mean Zane may be a very nice guy, too trusting but hey at least he isn't an idiot.". "Thanks I think. Should I hit him? I mean he did insult me." said Zane, leaning against the dumpster. "Eh. Go nuts." said Kane, Lucifer, and Sivarth with Zane hitting the watch.
Nearby on the football field, Brad was holding the ball as his not secret crush Leigh was walking right by him. "Hey Leigh. Want to see the pass that won us the championship?" said Brad. "Not really Bradley." said Leigh as she walked right past him. Brad sulked as he soon threw the ball right toward Austin without saying a single word about it. The ball was going over his head and then bounced a little upon hitting the ground.
It soon landed nearby the same area that Zane was being that Zane didn't notice the ball due to him talking to his team and completely focused on it. "Don't just stand there Austin! Go get the ball!" said Brad. Austin nodded as he ran to go pick up the ball and saw nothing there. He shrugged as he ran back over to Brad. He rather not piss off Brad more since he was rejected by Leigh again and that makes Brad is in a bad mood.
Nearby the dumpster, Zane was sticking onto the bottom of the trash can lid and was using his body's camouflage to hide from Austin. "Okay. That was too close." said Zane. "Me thinks you need to focus better Zane." said Lucifer in a mocking tone. "Yeah. You're right. At least this smelly moment couldn't get any worse." said Zane. As he said this, one of the school's janitor threw a large bag of trash in the dumpster and closed the lid after.
Zane was soon trapped inside of the dumpster being that he was covered in trash. "So Zane. Do you know what you did wrong?" said Cole. "Yeah. I tempt the Omniverse and then it decided to mess with me by trapping me in this trash." thought Zane. He was about to phase out of the dumpster being that Crisis Judgement went off as people were around it. "And I'll be in here for a while. So got anything to talk about guys or in my case think about?" thought Zane.
Later, Zane was soon sitting in Scott's class with him having a whole section of seats to himself. This section consisted of twelve seats being four rows of three seats. He soon turned right to the rest of his class ,who were covering their noses and sitting in the other section of seats being six by four, as he sulked. "I don't smell that bad do I?" said Zane. "You smell worse than the boys locker room Stinky Zit." said Hannah, holding her nose. Zane turned to Karen and Rachel who nodded their heads.
Allen nodded as he said,"She has a point there mate.". "Yeah. I know. Don't remind me. And how do you know what the boys locker room smells like Hannah?" said Zane. The two were about to start one of their signature conflicts being that Hannah usually yells at him and Zane retorts back. Think of Erza and Zane's relationship in Fairy Legion. It does have less swords and the female having a slightly higher voice and smaller fuse. Scott coughed, getting their attention for a moment.
The man liked Zane but he tends to be the center of the attention most of the time. "Anyway before I was interrupted, we were about to choose partners for tonight's police ride along. I want you all to meet two new students to your senior class. It's a boy and girl. Don't know why they asked me to do but oh well.". Zane looked up to see a boy and girl enter the room. The girl had delicate features, very much like royalty but she has faint but noticeable muscle tone. She’s 5 foot 7.
She has fair skin. She has long, wavy voluminous platinum blonde hair. It goes to the middle of her back and her signature green eyes. She has long eyelashes. She wears a blue headband to keep her hair back but there is a single lock falling down to the middle of her forehead. She wears a light green long sleeved hooded cardigan over a white tank top. She wears light blue flared jeans with emeralds at the bottom of the legs. She has a crescent moon.
She wears dark green wedge-sandals with white straps over the instep. The boy looks to be eighteen years old. He has a natural tan to him being that he’s a fit and well-build to him. He looks to be around 5 foot 10. He has short, spiky white hair being that it looks like a buzz-cut and turquoise eyes. He wears a black, leather military jacket like jinbei which was hanging off his shoulders. He wears a dark green shirt under his jacket.
He wears blue cargo pants and dark gray tennis shoes. Zane instantly noticed something strange about the boy. He reminded Zane of three people. They were Lilith, Rocco, and himself being that Zane decided to keep a close eye on him. "Class. I'll like you to meet Brooke Reyes and Cyrus Epstein. I think you all know who Brooke's parents are so please treat her like a normal student." said Scott as Karen and Zane knew that Scott wasn't kidding about that.
Brooke said with her having an Eastern European accent,"Nice to meet you all. I hope we can all be friends.". Mack soon walked up to her as he said,"I hope we can be more than friends in time your highness. How about I take you out to show you the Cypress Park sights tomorrow night?". He kissed her hand as Allen grew jealous. "Oh wow. I can feel his jealously even through all of this stink of yours. You really need to hit the showers ASAP Zane." said Kane.
Before Brooke could answer, Cyrus glared at him. "Buzz off playboy. Go find another pathetic flower for you to pollinate or whatever." said Cyrus. Mack was about to say something but the new boy's glare shut him up and forcing him back to his seat. "That glare would scare a normal human shitless but you're different Zane." said Lucifer. "Anyway before we have a fight, do you two mind taking your seats?" said Scott.
Cyrus nodded as he sat with the rest of the class and the queen sat in the section with Zane. The trio of Della, Hannah, and Mack looked at the royalty in shock as Allen chuckled at her action. Karen looked at her friend as she said,"Why is this funny Allen?". "Karen. Brooke has no sense of smell." said Allen. "Oh. And how do you know that lover boy?" said Rachel, smirking and punching him in the arm. "So Brooke. You don't mind my stench do you?" said Zane, hearing his friend's comment.
Brooke said after shaking her head no,"Not at all Zane. I've heard a lot about you from Allen's father and others who I've met in my short but interesting time in Cypress Park.". "Hopefully, they're good things because I'm not known for my good deeds when it comes to the adults." said Zane. "Yes and I've heard about your punch on Roland. Nice job. Never liked him. Seems to be quite the scummy man in my opinion but that's nothing compared to the Palmer family." said Brooke.
Zane smiled as he said,"You know Brooke. I think I like you since you're the only person other than Andrew who says I did the right thing.". The two were talking as Karen whispered to Rachel,"So is Zane flirting with her or what?". "Hopefully not since that's Allen's girl and well, Zane isn't a cheater at all." whispered Rachel. "This is an educational front row seat on how the police operates and not a social activity. Hint Hint." said Scott.
He looked at Brooke and Zane who were talking with Zane saying,"Don't worry so much Scott. I'll be on my best behavior and keep my snappy repartee to a minimum.". "And we'll be trying to make that happen sir. So aren't you concerned about Cyrus? He reminds me of those two and you but at the same time, not at all." said Azalea. "Don't worry Azalea. I'm on it. I'll find out who this kid is in no time flat. We'll be keeping a close eye on him." said Athena.
Scott smiled as he said,"Anyway. I don't want anyone to complain about who their partner is. So names are in the hat." . He soon pointed to the police cap in front of him, filled with papers as most of the class groaned at this. Just as Austin was about to pick one, Brad tackled him to the ground. "Sorry there Austin but I get first dibs on..... Cyrus Epstein! Wait I want a re do!" said Brad. Cyrus rolled his eyes as he said,"Hooray. I get stuck with the neanderthal. Lucky me.".
This soon earned a glare from Brad as Leigh was after him as she said with a smile,"Looks like I'm with Austin Lawrence.". Austin smirked as Brad said,"If you say anything, I'll hurt you.". Austin was silent as the two boys sat back down. Karen was next with her turning to Zane and gave him a wish me luck symbol. "Please go with me! I really don't want to be stuck with Della or Mack. I'm go with anyone else and neither Karen or Rae getting stuck with Mack." thought Zane.
Karen picked up a piece of paper as she said,"Rachel Powell.". Zane took a loud sigh of relief as Team Legion Zero said,"Real subtle there Zane.". Allen was paired up with Brooke as the British cheered internally. Mack was stuck with Della much to their mutual displeasure because one was a playboy and the other was an annoying nerd. However, Hannah got stuck with the final person left. "It's David Nelson." said Hannah in a very nervous tone.
She crumbled up the paper and threw it away, making a basket in the process. Brad crossed his arms as he said,"Come on Hannah. We're not idiots because David had this class yesterday so he couldn't be a choice in the first place.". Austin nodded as Hannah turned back to them as she said,"Fine! I got stuck with Stinky over there!". "The feeling is not at all mutual Harpie but fate is a cruel and unpredictable mistress isn't she?" said Zane.
The two glared at each other with the class noticing that the two had lightning ,being Zane's unique color of electricity, between them. Scott sighed as he thought,"I really thought my daughter was kidding about those two having a strong hatred toward each other but I was wrong. I hope things don't get any worst I hope.". The Omniverse heard this thought and decided to make its move through several outside sources.
A bit later, Zane ,after taking a well-needed shower, was currently on the football field. He's wearing his gym wear which is a simple black shirt with a dragon claw in the center of the shirt, dark blue gym shorts that goes past his knees, and his signature sneakers. He did have his watch on it and was exposing his neck scar. "So I have several questions but all of them are connected to a singular question. Why am I here exactly Brad? Are you going to beat me up?" said Zane.
He looked at Brad who stood there with Allen, Austin, and David. "No. Well, we all know that you're super busy with your company and other stuff but you can't ignore the Cypress High Ox's traditional pushup contest. It's done every year since the school was founded." said Austin. "Okay then. I get you guys. So are you guys able to do this? I mean I'm clearly going to win this but I would at least like a challenge from more than just Allen." said Zane.
David said,"You haven't been coached by my dad longer enough Zane. He's a former Marine/Navy Seal drill instructor/sergeant after all. Those eyes of his when he's about to do something are so scary.". David soon shivering at just the thought of his eyes. "I see. That makes sense. So onto my second question about all of this. Why is there a crowd of people and cheerleaders here?" said Zane. He soon pointed to the bleachers filled with people as Allen shrugged. "No idea." said Allen.
Austin said,"According to tradition Zane, this is normal and also our captain likes to make you look stupid. You should know that by now.". "That's sounds right. So is it just the five of us or the entire team except for he who should not be named?" said Zane, pointing to the other jocks standing near them. "No. It's the entire team. Get ready to lose Alvarez." said Brad. "You really shouldn't count your eggs before they hatch captain." said Zane, smirking.
The five along with the rest of the nameless jocks soon dropped to the floor in the push up position which is stomachs above the ground, legs together, and hands on the floor. Stan stood there with him saying,"And begin!". The team soon began their competition with the crowd watching in awe. Even though they were athletic, most of the jocks were still human. They were uncomfortable and shaky with wobbly arms appearing in some of them.
A minute had passed and none of them fell. Zane didn't mind this at all being that his powers and god like stamina made this a piece of cake. Five minutes had passed with Stan smiling. "Move faster you maggots!" said Stan. This was the key signal for the group to move faster which they did. The trio of Allen, Brad, and Zane were doing just fine at the eighty push-up mark. Others weren't so lucky being that they were only human after all.
Zane had already gone past three hundred push-ups with him still going and didn't look exhausted in the slightest. The crowd ,except the people who knew about his powers, were surprised about this side of him. Most people knew Zane for his mouth since he tended to speak his mind without a single ounce of hesitation. "I can't believe it. Zit is still going." said Hannah, being that the group was now at the four hundred push-up mark.
Stan walked over to the clear victor of this little contest aka Zane. "Alvarez! I want you to give me a million percent!" said Stan. The line was initially a hundred and twenty percent but since the head of the school knew about Zane's powers, he decided to change the line. "Sure thing. I always give it my all even though a million percent is seemingly an impossible percentage." said Zane. Those who had given up were lined up against the bleachers were shocked by this development.
After ten minutes, there were only about four students left at this point being that Austin had quit around the five hundred push-up/pushup mark. Those who were left pushed themselves to the best of their ability to win. It was no shock to see Allen, Brad, and Zane still in this being that David was the only human keeping up with these three impressed Kane. "Wow. This human isn't half bad." said Kane, smiling.
Zane was still going strong at the six hundred push-up mark. Zane soon heard a thud being that he was sure that it was David. "He's still alive right?" said Cole. "Yeah. I can heal the human's heart beat." said Sivarth. Zane mindlessly did this task, lost in thought about how he was going to handle the Odium Society and just any thing that may come his way. Due to this, he didn't realize that they were at the one thousand push up mark.
It was also only him and Brad being that Allen had given up around the seven hundred mark due to him wanting to keep him being a metahuman a secret. The whole crowd was shocked at this point being that both of them were still going strong even after a thousand push ups. Brad soon began to struggle at the one thousand and five hundred mark being that he was about to give up. He and Zane may have been friends but he wasn't going to lose to him.
Brad's arms were wobbling like jello, his face red as the color of blood, and sweating bullets by the 1,750 mark but kept it going. The class watched as this contest dragged on and they were cheering for both of them. The only person who didn't cheer was Cyrus being that he just rolled his eyes. The crowd gasped as Brad collapsed at the two thousand mark being that Zane kept on going. "So did I win or what?" said Zane.
Him speaking so casual just made the duo of Hannah and Sams blood boil being that both of them were about to scream their heads off about this but they were stopped by a glare from Virgil stopped them. Brad was completely spent, panting, and trying to take deep breaths. Zane just stood up and wiped off the single sweat drop that was there. "So need some water or a towel there captain?" said Zane being that the entire field was silent.
That silence was broken by Stan laughing. He soon smiled as he said,"You're really something else there Alvarez.". "Thanks sir but I'm serious." said Zane. The crowd soon erupted into cheers and whoops being that Zane soon decided to help Brad. Allen ran up to them with the trio heading to the locker room. "Dude. That was awesome." said Allen. "Yeah. It really was." said Brad. "Thanks. So ready for the rest of the day?" said Zane.
Brad groaned as he said,"Can't I just sleep in the nurses office?". "Maybe but would Leigh approve of this side of you?" said Allen. "No but she hates me because of the past and that will never change. I should just give up." said Brad. "People don't change over night. It takes time for people to change and good actions usually accelerated change. Just keep being the good Brad rather than the bad one okay?" said Zane. "Sure man." said Brad.
Later, Zane was about to leave the school being that he had changed out of his gym clothing and into his normal clothing except for his jacket. Due to his shirt and compression sleeves being short, his well defined muscles on his arms were clearly exposed. Any one ,who could see him, noticed that his muscles were well defined more than any jock in the school combined. Most of the females were just staring in awe of this being that it was well known that Zane was popular for a multitude of reasons.
It was his confidence and his body being that most of the student body liked him for the latter. Most people knew that Zane was athletic being that it was shown many times but today really proved how well-built Zane was. It was a common thing to imagine Zane without a shirt being that pictures of him without a shirt ,from swim class or the pool, are for a very high price but most females just let out a dreamy sigh at the thought of it even without the picture.
Zane was soon heading toward the parking lot being that he heard a shrill voice,"Alvarez!". Crisis Judgement went off as Zane was pretty sure that he wasn't in danger but he could always be wrong about that. He soon turned around to see Hannah Grant approaching him fast with her usually in the Cypress High cheerleading uniform. "So does she wear anything other than that you guys?" said Cole as the blond stood directly in front of him.
Due to him being much taller than her, her intimidation wasn't going to work. "Don't know but if she starts screaming, I'm exposing your identity Zane. Her voice is a major pain to me even more than the school's bells even after we lowered the sound of it." said Twilight. Zane ignored her for the moment being that it was clear to him that she didn't want to be here at all. It was kinda well known that the blond didn't like Zane for many reasons. "I need your help." mumbled Hannah.
She was speaking quietly and was constantly looking around her. "I'm so very sorry Hannah but I couldn't hear you at all. Mind repeating yourself?" said Zane. "We all know you heard her Zane but you're making her repeat herself aren't you? You can be a real sadist sometimes." said Sivarth as he sighed. Hannah was angry at Zane for a moment but she soon took a deep breath with her anger leaving her for a moment. "I need your help okay Alvarez?" said Hannah
Zane internally smirked with him saying,"Wait. You want help from me? Stinky? Your most hated enemy? The one who ruined Cypress High's A List by corrupting them with my poison.". Hannah nodded with her not responding back to Zane. Zane knew that he wasn't being pranked being that if there was, Crisis Judgement would have gone off by now. "Okay. You're serious about this if you are not responding to me. So what do you need my help for?" said Zane.
Hannah soon looked around as she said,"I need a tutor.". "Oh wow. You need a tutor now? I mean you're about to graduate high school. Should have asked me beforehand." said Zane. "Don't you ever shut up with your pointless comments!" said Hannah, pointing a threatening finger at Zane. "Nah. I'm good." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off as he heard,"Hannah! Where are you?". Zane could tell that Hannah didn't want to be seen with him so he decided to something.
He soon pushed her into the bushes being that Hannah didn't do anything about it. Hannah looked at Zane who said,"Didn't want anyone to ruin our fun.". "We're not have fun Alvarez." said Hannah. "I disagree but tell me why you need me to tutor you?" said Zane. He soon stared directly into her eyes with a cold look being that she glared at him with hatred before figuring out that Zane was willing to help her but he needed to know why.
Hannah took a deep breath with her fumbling with her hands. "Look Z...I mean Zane. I know that you and I don't get along." said Hannah. "Ain't that the truth?" said Lucifer, earning a hit from Azalea and Sivarth. "I just want to graduate high school and go to my dream school but I need your help in doing that. So please help me Zane. You're the smartest person I know. I mean you graduated early after all and run your own company at eighteen." said Hannah.
Zane nodded as he said,"You're right but why should I? I mean even after all of this time, you and I don't get along. I think you and Sam are the only two people in the senior class who hate me.". "But I'm really desperate!" said Hannah. Zane looked at her being that he could tell that she was telling the truth and was desperate. He would assume that Sam put her up to this but Hannah said,"Please.". "I'm going to regret this but sure." said Zane with him sighing.
Hannah cheered before Zane decided to stop her joy for the moment. "Okay. When and where did you want to start? We will be together tonight because of the police ride along but I think we should meet earlier." said Zane. She thought about the where and when being that she already decided on the place earlier. "An hour after school get out at my place. We're having our practice for our final period because of the police ride along. You have your phone on you right?" said Hannah.
Zane smiled as he said,"What?! Your place?! I'm not worthy to see the place where the great and totally perfect Hannah Grant lives! I'm not worthy!". "Didn't you wreck her house that time you fought that one Phantom who is in love with Christmas?" said Kane. "Shut up! I don't want to be seen with you more than I have to so give your damn phone." said Hannah. "Since you asked me so nicely, I just have to do it." said Zane with him handing her his phone.
She rudely took it from his hand with him saying,"And here I thought that getting your number would have been harder.". He watched her struggle typing in her address and number being that Cole said,"I bet it will take her thirty seconds.". This guess was completely off by thirty seconds. She soon handed Zane back his phone with him saying,"I hope you didn't get cooties on my phone. Really don't want to detox my phone.".
Hannah ,while ignoring Zane's comment, said,"Remember an hour after school and don't be late or else.". She soon stepped out of the bush with Crisis Judgement going off. Zane soon noticed that a soccer ball was heading directly toward Hannah's head being that the cheerleader was heading toward Kristen who was looking for her fellow cheerleader. Zane knew what to do and went into action. He soon perform two backflips in a row to reach the projectile.
He easily kicked the ball back toward the soccer field with him hitting into a goal. "Goal!!!!!" said Cole. Zane soon landed on the ground being about five feet away from the bush and he soon heard multiple gasps. He looked behind to see a stunned Hannah and Kristen with several students ,who were in P.E., were looking at him in awe with their phone aimed right at him. "So that just happened I guess." said Zane, shrugging his shoulders.
All eyes were glued on him with him thinking,"Perhaps I should have done something else.". "You really should have Zane but that was just cool. I'm pretty sure that you can come up with an excuse for how you did that using science mumbo jumbo." said Kane. "Science mumbo jumbo? I hope you're not serious." said Lucifer. Hannah didn't say anything being that her jaw had dropped and eyes were blinking rapidly.
She really couldn't believe her eyes at Zane being able to perform acrobatic maneuver that would make any acrobat envious. "Wow Zaney. You're really impressive. Winning the pushup contest and then doing something like this." said Kristen. "Thanks Kris. I always try to impress people and shock them. Isn't that right Hannah?" said Zane. Instead of responding, the blond soon began rubbing her eyes and was hoping that if she just hallucinate that.
Zane soon shrugged as he said,"Since you're not responding to me at all Hannah, I'll explain how I did that seemingly impossible feat. I've been practicing parkour during my free time.". Hannah soon looked right at Zane with her saying,"Seriously? Do you honestly think that anyone would believe that?". "Yes Harpie. I think that's a totally logical reason." said Zane with him sounding completely confident about it with Team Legion Zero accepting it.
Kristen looked at her boyfriend being that she was slightly impressed by his confidence and hoped that he didn't just expose his secret identity. "Whatever Alvarez. Lets go Kristen." said Hannah. She soon walked off as Kristen looked at Zane. "Don't worry. I'll be fine." said Zane. "Okay. Good luck with her Zane. She isn't the best mood to begin with." said Kristen. "I'll try." said Zane with him soon heading to his car as Kristen went back to the rest of the cheerleaders.
A bit later, Zane ,in costume, was currently jumping from building to building being that he could tell that people ,on the street below, were pointing upwards to where Zane was jumping from. He soon heard a woman screaming from inside of a dark alley below him. He soon landed on a building with him looking down. He soon saw a group of eight thugs about to advance on a woman who looked to be a couple of years older than him being Courtney's age.
Within seconds, Zane soon jumped down toward the gang with him landing onto the thug that was the closest to said woman. Zane soon heard the other seven gasp in shock being that the teen soon stood between the woman and the seven conscious thugs. The thug he landed was currently out cold and was mumbling something about him not wanting to go to school today mom. "Seriously? Why is the big shot hero here and not fighting the superpowered freaks?" said a thug to his pals.
Zane smiled much to the confusion of thugs in front of him. "Sorry but Legion Zero fights both big and small bad guys. So are you ready to fight? Because I'm about to hit the guy that's closest to the wall." said Zane. After finishing his sentence, Zane soon fired out candy syrup from his body and it soon captured him, making him unable to escape. "I know that you think eating your prison is the best way out of your predicament but I wouldn't recommend it." said Zane.
He soon jumped into the air with him quickly blasting three thugs in the chest with green Nether. Upon hitting the thug, the Nether soon transformed into chains and pushed them right toward the ground, trapping and knocking them out. "Get the hero!" said the leader. "Oh wow. You're mad. I mean I made half of your boy band look so stupid so it's understandable." said Zane as he stood on the ground. Oddly, the young woman didn't flee which was normal for him and his antics.
She stood there with her watching the fight with complete interest. The remaining thugs soon rushed at Zane. As the first two charged at him, Zane phased their punches. Crisis Judgement went off as a flurry of punches were coming from two other thugs being one of the duo was their leader. Zane soon jumped into the air ,while performing a back flip in the process, and then grabbed the two thugs's fists using his telekinesis.
The two thugs were shocked by this but this shock didn't last for long. Zane then manipulated the two thugs punch the other one out, knocking the two of them out. "Oh wow. That's so very sad. I mean just wow." said Zane, landing gracefully. The remaining two thugs were confused with Zane using that to his advantage. These two thugs didn't expect an extremely powerful kick connected to their chest, knocking the wind out of him and sending them flying five feet back.
Zane soon looked at the two foots that were protruding from his chest and sighed. "Even with me holding back, you still went flying. I think you really need to eat more so you don't go flying like that." said Zane, shaking his head in a disappointed manner. He soon fired candy syrup, trapping the two knocked out thugs and then fired his webbing at the two thugs who went flying. He looked at the three conscious and incapacitated thugs and went to the one who was attached to the wall.
The thug in question said,"Seriously man. What the hell are you? I mean you have more powers than needed or deserve!". Zane soon made a tendril come out of his back and patted the thug's head, treating him like a child. "Sorry young man but you still have a lot to learn about how fate and the gods act. I should give you some advice. One must be wise in order to steal." said Zane, speaking like a wise old sage. "Huh?" said the thug.
He continued to struggle, producing grunts of frustration. "And I think this man is a prime example of why you shouldn't dropped out of school." said Zane, acting like a teacher. "Hey! I ain't stupid! I got my GED!" said the thug, clearly angry. "Calm down. I think you should stop why you're ahead." said Zane. "Huh?" said the thug. "What I mean is stop talking dum dum." said Zane. "Hey!" yelled the thug, wanting to kill the annoying hero.
Zane patted the left shoulder of the thug a couple of times with him saying,"It's okay. Just wait until the police arrives. It'll be over soon k?". "I swear when I get out of jail, you'll pay with your...!" said the thug being that his mouth was soon encased in candy syrup, completely muffling his voice. "I'm sure that you're speaking words that would make god very disappointed in you so I'll protect you from his vengeful wrath." said Zane.
He soon turned his attention toward the woman ,who was covered in shadows, with him saying,"You know something. I'm kinda impressed with you. I mean most people usually run away once I arrive to save the day but you're still here. Very strange if you ask me but hey, I've learned that you shouldn't question women since they're always right.". The woman giggled at Zane with him saying,"And you are laughing at my quips. You're really strange but hey, that's better than being bland.".
Zane soon extended his hand as he said,"So I'm sure that you know who I am since I'm trending for five weeks straight. I mean I'm quite the good Samaritan if you asks most people of this fair city even though I never stopping talking.". "Um Zero?" said the woman, clearly uncomfortable. "I'm sorry but I'm actually quite nice despite the rumors about me being a monster. Don't believe the rumors about me or Phantoms. We're good people. So what's your name?" said Zane.
The woman took a step out of the shadows, revealing herself. She's a slender woman with light skin with her having thick, long blond hair. She has most of it tied in a ponytail and a single white bang that hangs in front of him. She has blue eyes. She's wearing punk like clothing. She's wearing a dark purple bodice with mint green lacing and black lace detached sleeves. She's wearing light blue jeans with visible seams and black knee high goth like boots.
She's wearing black nail police and thanks to her sleeves, Zane could see a tattoo of bloody pom-poms on her left shoulder. "The name is Marcella Grant but most people call me Mar. Nice to meet the protector of Cypress Park." said Marcella. "Huh. Hannah's sister is quite different than I thought she was." said Athena. "Yeah. It's a huge difference." said Twilight. "Nice to meet you Mar. Even thought I'm working so hard, crime is still a pain isn't it?" said Zane.
Mar nodded as she said,"Yeah. Can't walk down the street without getting attacked by gangs. I heard that you talk a lot but wow, you're a real chatterbox aren't you?". "Yeah. I mean I tend to do it just to piss off my foes and in response to this, they make stupid mistakes just to shut me up. I then take advantage of this and defeat them." said Zane. "Heh. You're cool Zero." said Mar. "Thanks. I'm so touched that I have another fan for the Zero fan club. I just hope you're not a crazy one." said Zane.
Mar shook her head as she delivered a punch to his shoulder which didn't hurt him of course. "Even though the news and the rich people of Cypress Park hate your guts, I'm sure that you're a good hero and the complete opposite of a monster. I'll be putting in a good way for you." said Mar. "Thanks. I guess we should probably get the cops for this boy band." said Zane, pointing to the thugs. "Yeah so do you need to get going? I mean crime doesn't take a break." said Mar.
Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. Don't worry about these guys escaping. I'm pretty sure that they won't be escaping any time soon.". He soon flew off with Mar watching him leave her field of vision. "He's totally different than how sis said he is. I mean I'm sure he didn't mean to break our house but at least we got insurance." said Mar, pulling out her phone from the back pocket of her jeans and called the police.
After finishing up his patrol being that it ended with him stopping Rock Lord from controlling the people to destroy a music store, Zane ,in his casual clothing, stood in front of Hannah's house. He already knew the location thanks to him fighting Holiday Guardian but he got a text from her which gave him the address to her house along with a threat for him to be alone. Zane sighed as he stepped up to the front door and he said to himself,"Time to face the music in a shrill, female form.".
Zane gently pushed the round button that was framed with dark oak wood. Zane soon heard the dread chime of the doorbell emitting from the other side of the door. "At least her doorbell is quiet unlike her voice." mumbled Twilight. Zane soon heard soft footsteps along with feminine grumbling soon approach the door. He soon began looking around the porch until the door opened. The front yard looked natural even with fake looking grass and a white picket fence.
He soon heard the locks get undone being two clicks. Zane turned around to see a slightly irritated Hannah Grant wearing something other than her cheerleading uniform. She's wearing a dark magneta denim vest over a red tank top that showed half of her stomach. She's wearing blue shorts that clearly showed off her legs and blue slippers. "Oh Hannah! I was just admiring how...." said Zane. "Be quiet Alvarez." said Hannah, hissing venomously at Zane.
Lucifer said,"So is this normal for her?". "Yeah. She's back much to our dismay. I liked nice Hannah." said Kane. "Thanks for coming Zane. I really need your help." said Hannah under her breath. She hoped that Zane didn't hear her but he did. "Get inside and take off your shoes. You've probably played around in mud before coming here." said Hannah as Zane entered the house. "I'll have you know that I haven't played in mud lately." said Zane, following her order.
He placed his shoes nearby the others with him patted his brown bag that he made appear upon him arriving to her house. "So after doing some research, I've brought most of the books that will deal with the subjects that you're struggling with." said Zane. "Good. Let's start." said Hannah. A few minutes later in the living room, Zane thought he could make amends with Hannah. Kristen has been telling him for a while now that Hannah was a good person and Zane had trouble believing her.
He could tell that when she asked him for help, she was serious about her bringing up her grades so she would be able to attend her dream school. However, he was pretty sure that she wouldn't give him the attention that he was asking from her and he was right much to his dismay since he wanted to be wrong for once. For the past fifteen minutes, Zane could tell that Hannah wasn't really listening to him being that her phone was out the whole time and was texting Sam or doing anything that isn't studying.
The television was thankfully ,in Twilight's opinion, on a low volume and was displaying a reality show that Zane had no interest ,in the slightest, aka Ultimate Showdown. Zane wondered why his least favorite cheerleader turned it on being that she was clearly focused on a different scene being that for once, Zane kept his opinions to himself. As a hero, he was willing to help people regardless of their allegiances but she wasn't accepting his help despite asking him for it earlier today.
He wondered why she was basically giving him the cold shoulder and Cole proposed an interesting but very flawed theory. He proclaimed that Hannah was a metahuman being that her super power was the ability to multitask like Zane but that theory was nothing more than hot air. Her metagene ,aka the reason for humans to have superpowers making them metahumans, wasn't activate and if she did have it active, her powers would involve sound in some regard given her voice.
Zane soon decided to test if Hannah was paying attention to him. "So Hannah. To understand English is like trying to figure out what you should do when you're fighting against a giant, talking pizza who clearly has a hatred toward humans for eating its brother and sisters for a long time but at the same time, you are currently dealing with a gremlin who is forcing you to disco dance to dubstep." said Zane with a straight face.
Hannah responded to Zane's obvious lie by saying,"Uh huh. Yeah.". Zane sighed as he said,"And this is why teachers don't allow phones in class.". "Of course I'm listening to you Stinky. You mentioned something about English and pizza. I should order one or a couple for you right? You eat like a pig don't you? That's what Sam says about you and I'm sure she's right" said Hannah, never taking her eyes off her phone.
Azalea said,"Despite her clearly ignoring you, I'm impress she's able to do all this.". "And you're treating me like I'm not even here. Fan freaking tastic." said Zane, crossing his arms. Zane was sure that tutoring a reincarnated harpie aka Hannah was a waste of his precious free time. He was thinking about leaving her house before having to deal with her later tonight. "Oh this is just great! Sam is coming over here!" said Hannah. "Really?" said Zane.
Hannah finally looked up from her phone and scowled at Zane. "I wasn't talking to you." said the girl as Zane rolled his eyes. "Of course you weren't. I'm going to be a jerk to you Hannah and say this so I hope you are listening. I'm not allowing this sleepover of yours because you don't need another distraction like Sam. You don't need distractions. We're STUDYING so the TV and phone need to go right now you get me?!" said Zane, pointing to the aforementioned objects.
Hannah only nodded, pretty much ignoring him. Zane sighed for what seems like the millionth time in now as he slumped back into his chair with his hands covering his face. After a few minutes of deep thinking, Zane decided to call this "study session" with Hannah off for now and decided to do some work for his company. One of his company's scientists had given him some really cool ideas for the company when the young business owner went over there this morning.
However after seeing the scientist somehow burn down a desk using water, he had to put some of the more extreme ideas on hold for now. He soon pulled out his notebook that he got from Marco and began working on ideas for his company and Zero right in front of Hannah. The room was silent beside for the TV clearly running in the background. In a very short period of time, the reality show was soon interrupted by breaking news.
Zane clearly hear his aunt's voice thanks to his supernatural healing and turned his attention toward the TV showing coverage of a situation at Collins Enterprise, starting Zane. "Breaking news. Collin Enterprise's CEO Andrew Collins is being held hostage by a living slime creature that calls himself the superstar villain Miasma..." said Isabel. This was all that he needed for him to hear. He soon began packing up his stuff with him looking at Hannah.
Zane soon turned to Hannah and he said,"Listen Hannah. We're not connecting at all and I'm not a fan of wasting my time on tutoring you. If you're willing to achieve your dream, I'll be there to help you since I like helping people.". He soon left the room and head toward the door with him putting on one of his shoes. Just as Zane was about to put on his last shoe, he heard,"Wait Alvarez!". "Sorry Hannah but someone is in trouble and even though he's a bad person, I'm a hero." thought Zane.
Zane soon opened the door and Crisis Judgement went off. "Zane?!" said a voice. Zane soon saw Sam standing there with Cole saying,"Hey! It's one of your fans aka the one who is a fan of the hero and not the man behind the mask.". Sam didn't say anything since she didn't want to see him standing in one of her friend's house. This brief distraction was long enough for Hannah to grab Zane. "Just wait okay Alvarez?" said Hannah.
Zane took a deep breath as he said,"And why should I? You were barely giving me any attention when I came here to help you out. I'm hoping that this wasn't just some elaborate prank just to waste my precious and limited free time. If you want me to help you, come back when you'll willing to learn and don't waste my time. I'm putting effort into what I want to do for the future but from what I saw today, you're clearly not. Later.".
Zane soon moved around the still shocked Sam being that he soon began sprinting toward the Collins Enterprise so he could save the day. He really didn't care if people were looking at him right now since someone was in danger despite that someone being an evil crime boss who ruled the criminal underground for right now. Back at the Grant home, the two girls were amazed on how Zane spoke to Hannah being that was normal for them given his mouth.
His burst of speed was also normal being that it was a common theory that Zane could be the next superstate athlete if he applied himself. Snapping out of her shock, Sam Bridges turned to Hannah and said,"What the heck happened? Why was he here?". Hannah only sighed in a frustrated manner and mutter curse words, stomping her way inside of the house as Sam followed after her but she did close the door behind her.
In five minutes, Zane was outside of Collin Enterprise with him being in costume. He took a big risk earlier by making physically impossible feats and transformed into Legion Zero in a way that could be seen by someone down below. He was sure that no one got a good look at his face due to the Cross Species moving at incredible speeds but he was worried. He knows about Andrew's crimes and won't forgive him for all that he's done as the Gold Commander.
When Zane first learned about Andrew Collins being the crime boss of Cypress Park a few months ago, he did his research on the man thanks to the Alliance. Andrew was born in the gang torn city of Eagle Creek, South Carolina. He was often bullied by his peers mainly due to his albinism. This only lasted until middle school being that he grew to be stronger and taller than most children and adults he knew. Andrew soon became a school bully.
He used his strength to obtain protection money from the adults in his life and his classmates. His school paper was going to run a story on his activities but they pulled the story mainly because he destroyed all of the computers. He soon left his small hometown to begin a era of crime like no one has ever seen before. He became an enforcer for several criminal groups, being that he gained knowledge alongside experience.
He lifted weights and engaged in street brawls mainly to hone his skills. He soon became the leader of his own criminal organization with him soon gaining a superhuman physique. This is due to him having a highly experimental gas absorbed into his bloodstream. This turned his skin a molten gold color giving him his unique name of Gold Commander which was based off a superhero name from his youth.
He soon moved to Cypress Park, becoming a famous figure in the town but rules the city's criminal underground. Zane wondered how Andrew was able to escape being arrested even with this evidence against him but he was pretty sure that Andrew had several lawyers at his beck and call to protect him from jail time. Even though Andrew was a criminal, Zane saw him as a father figure and the hero was not going to let this father figure get taken in front of him again.
Zane saw four police choppers slowly circling the building with two of them belonging to the CPPD and the other two choppers belonged to the news. The police department choppers's searchlights was moving frantically as if they were drawing something on the exterior of the building. The young hero soon saw the entire building and surrounding area was covered in slime. It was the same color as the gunk gang from earlier at the bank. "And that monster has a name." said Zane.
He soon flew toward the tower with him soon phasing his way into the building as he made contact with the slime. He soon looked around to see that the dark green ,with a dark reddish hue, slime was everywhere being that Zane saw several people inside of the slime, showing him expression of shock and terror. "Zane. I think you know what to do." said Athena. "Yeah. Time to find that main man behind this while giving this building a well needed makeover." said Zane.
He soon made Cardinal Etcher appear in his left hand with the hero saying,"Infernal Overload!". The blade was soon covered in Zane's flames with the hero aiming the blade above him and Zane soon made a fire dragon construct ,being three meters long, go upwards. It soon broke through the building and while traveling upwards, the slime around it melted away and freeing people. Zane soon flew after the dragon toward the top floor where it dissipated alongside Zane's flames.
Zane soon stood in front of Andrew's office with him hearing the faint voice of Andrew and another male that he was sure was Miasma being that unlike the slime monster from before, it sounded more human. Zane phased his head directly into the office so he could take in the situation and make the appropriate move. Monique was bound in a slime casing being unable to do anything being that this was going to be a traumatizing experience for her.
Andrew was also bound but was able to talk. He seemed to be having an argument with the monster in front of him. Speaking of the monster, Zane noticed that it was like the giant slime creature but around eight feet rather than ten feet. Zane could hear that the two were arguing about being that it involved the Tremendous. He wasn't sure about why this monster wanted Thomas and his group but Miasma is bad news.
Zane soon stood in front of the door with him saying,"Since I have the element of surprise, I should make myself known.". "Where are they?! You hired them according to the boss and I want my revenge on them!" said Miasma, roaring at the end of his sentence. Andrew was unfazed as he said with him not showing any emotion,"I have no idea about what you're talking about you overgrown booger.".
Miasma growled at the insult with him bringing down his right claw on Andrew, planing on melting him. Before he could do anything to the gold skinned man, the monster was soon hit by the giant oak door. The door instantly melted upon contact with the slime and Miasma turned around to see the idiot who threw the door at him. "Sorry about that but I kinda needed to make an entrance and the door was in my way." said Zane, standing there.
Andrew and Miasma looked at the protector acting all casual. "You! What are you doing here?! I don't want revenge on you yet!" said Miasma. "Well I'm sorry but you kinda took over one of our town's best companies so I had to do something." said Zane. Miasma was soon hit in the face by a fireball, coming from Zane's sword and the acid monster roared. Parts of his body turned into steam
as he growled frustratingly. "It's time for you to learn your place Miasma!" said Zane.
Back at the Grant Residence, Hannah was badmouthing Zane to her friend. "And he just totally bailed on me, Sam! Like what the hell! Losers like Alvarez shouldn't bail on me like that, Sam!" said the blond. "Uh-huh." said Sam, nodding without thinking. "He should understand how important it is for people like us to keep my followers up to date on my thoughts and opinions! Alvarez is a total freak isn't he?" said Hannah.
Sam repeated herself as Hannah said,"He's always been a freak but lately, he's been a real freak even more than normal! His entire family and friends are freaks! Ugh! He didn't even me tutor me like he promised Sam! Sam? Sam, are you listening to me?". Hannah noticed that Hannah's eyes were clearly glued on the television with Hannah groaning,"Hannah. I'm telling you something important and you are not listening! Reality TV can wait!".
She soon blinked as she said,"Oh wow. I sound just like Alvarez.". Before she could focus on it, Sam said,"Hannah look.". "Okay. So what happened this time? Did Francisco finally ask....?" said Hannah being that she was silent. For once, Hannah wished that the news was fake like most people thought that it was but it wasn't. She read the words on screen multiple times. "Collins Enterprise Andrew Collins is being held hostage by a monster known as Miasma." said Sam.
Hannah rolled her eyes as she said,"Great another monster of the week.". "Wow. I knew that you can be rude sometimes sis but just wow." said a voice. Hannah turned to see her older sister standing there as she said,"What do you mean?". "Andrew has a protege and I think I saw him bolt out of here maybe. Not really sure but I think you know who I'm talking about." said Mar, sitting on the couch and Hannah was silent.
She knew that her sister was talking about Zane being that it made the most sense to him leaving her but why did he go? She knew that Zane wasn't a normal teen being that he made most highly trained athletes look pathetic. Hannah wasn't an blonde like most people thought she was being that she was better at reading people rather than reading textbooks. She knew that Zane should have stayed here with them and watch the event unfold, hoping for Zero or one of the heroes to resolve the problem.
Hannah soon heard,"Hannah! It's him!". Hannah turned back to the TV being that the screen soon showed the building being that it was soon covered in fire being that the three girls knew that those flames belonged to their town's protector. "It's Legion Zero!" squealed Sam. Mar looked at her sister as the younger blonde said,"She's a bit of a fan.". "A bit is an understatement." said Mar. Hannah soon watched the scene in interest now.
Back at Collins Enterprise, Zane was ready for battle. Due to Miasma being distracted by the smoke that fully covered the room, Zane held his sword in front of it. It was still covered in his flames with Zane saying,"Hellfire Emperor Firefly Swarm!". The blade soon created several small and glowing gold fireballs that float around Miasma being that he didn't see them around him. They were harmless and just floating around him
Zane soon went over to Andrew with him freeing the gold skinned man from his prison. "So I know that you and me have an interesting history Mr. Collins but I'm pretty sure that you don't want to deal with that overgrown....." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off being that he moved his sword in front of him and Andrew, blocking Miasma's punch and this caused the monster to scream in pain. "You bastard brat!" yelled Miasma.
Zane smirked as he said,"Such a sweet talker. Oh. Did you noticed the very unique light show around you?". Miasma soon noticed the balls of fire around him being that Zane snapped his right hand. The balls soon erupted into flame, causing Miasma to burn and the monster screamed. Zane soon put the sword back in his pocket dimension with him saying,"Alligator Rudder!". Zane soon kicked Miasma and sent the larger foe back.
This pushed the monster out of the building being that Miasma soon sprouted several slime tendrils and kept him from falling to the ground. Miasma saw Zane heading toward him being that Miasma soon took a deep breath. He soon fired his slime toward Zane being that Zane soon began spinning around ,very much like a drill, and the hero said,"If you think that your slime is going to stop me, I fought guys made out of acid and magma before meeting with you!".
He soon slammed both of his feet into the monster, breaking the tendrils and sending him flying toward the ground. The monster was moving toward the ground and he soon saw Zane ,in Orb Form and in his ball mode, heading right toward him. Zane soon slammed right into Miasma, making the two head toward the ground faster. The two soon landed on the ground, creating a massive crater in front of the building.
Zane rolled off Miasma being that the monster got back up and glared. Zane was going around him as he said,"Did I make you mad?". "You. I almost had him because he's working with the people who made me into this!" said Miasma. "Hold on. You're telling me that you weren't always an overgrown booger." said Zane, stopping. Miasma soon fired two balls of slime at Zane being that he easily dodged it.
The slime monster was soon in a prison like arena being that there were several slime towers being that Zane dodged them. Zane deactivated Orb Form with him saying,"How about you give up? I'm sure that I can help you go back to normal.". "You really think that you could stop me from getting my revenge?" said Miasma. "Well yeah. I mean I'm sure that you've heard about me and how I never leave you bad guys alone to commit your crimes." said Zane.
Miasma chuckled as he said,"Fine! It's your funeral Zero!". "Really? I mean I know that you're all goo but I'm pretty sure that you are smarter than Berserk and Steamroller maybe." said Zane. "You'll pay for that." said Miasma. Miasma was about to attack Zane but then Zane smiled. "Time for some Sweet Flurry!" said Zane, turning the entire area around Miasma into candy syrup. Several tendrils were forming around Zane and the hero sent them into the air.
Miasma was soon pierced by the tendrils being that upon contact with him, the candy syrup covered his body. He tried to melt the syrup but it was rather stubborn. "Let me go!" said Miasma, trying to break out of it. "Seriously? That isn't going to happen." said Zane. The helicopters soon shined down on them with Miasma chuckling. "What's so funny?" said Zane. "Do you really think I decided to attack Andrew by myself?" said Miasma.
Before Zane could say anything, Miasma and his prison soon vanished in a burst of dark blue glitch like pixels. Zane blinked with him thinking,"Okay. He is working with Clifford maybe. I better start tracking his Animus after I take care of the mess that Miasma left behind.". He soon turned into Pyre Form with him releasing fire in order to clean up. After that, Zane soon flew off being that he was soon on the hint for Clifford and Miasma.
Later, Zane ,in costume and out of Pyre Form, was flying through the air. "My luck today is just so damn random today. I got covered in trash, got stuck with Hannah as my ride along partner, won the pushup contest and performed an amazing backflip, "tutored" Hannah before I decided to leave her since she ignored me, and I couldn't find either Clifford or Miasma." said Zane. "True. Your day has gone different than what you expected hasn't it?" said Azalea.
Lucifer nodded as he said,"Yeah but at least it's been interesting. Even though we couldn't find two of your villains, you at least didn't get a call from the lab today. I like you Zane but why did you hire that man? He somehow burned something using water.". "I think you know that Zane attracts eccentric people like a moth to a flame." said Sivarth. As Zane was about to head toward Cypress High aka the meetup spot for the police ride along, he noticed something.
There was a noticeable sized hole in the roof of the bank being the one nearby the city/town's park aka the one from Zero Episode 41. "I better check this off. Mind texting Scott that I'll be late?" said Zane, landing on the bank's rooftop. "Will do." said Athena. "You know that Hannah won't be happy about you being late and adding that you bailed/ditched her will make her hatred for you sky rocket Zane." said Cole. "Meh. I don't mind." said Zane.
Meanwhile outside of Cypress High, Austin opened the door to the backseat of the police car for Leigh as two random and nameless cops got in the front. Brad watched all of this with an upset look on his face. "To be fair mate, it could have been worse." said Allen. "Yeah but nothing I'm doing is working." said Brad. "Don't give up mate. Love isn't something that happens over night. Well, I best be going. Can't keep the lady waiting." said Allen.
Brad soon overheard Scott say,"Brad. You and Cyrus are with Detective Kennedy and Stevens.". "I get stuck with my dad too. Great." thought Brad as he walked over to the police car and sat next to the new kid. Ramona walked over to the backseat and said to the two,"So are you two rookies ready for the time of your young lives?". "If I wasn't stuck with the leader of the Cypress Park Neanderthals, I would say yes." said Cyrus.
Brad rolled his eyes as he said,"You seriously think you're so cool don't you? I really doubt my old man and his partner are taking anywhere cool to begin with. They probably have protection for her highness's car.". Cyrus frowned at being insulted by Brad as Brad said,"But don't you worry. We got Zero and his friends protecting us from the big bads.". Both cops got in the front seat as Tony started driving.
Ramona said,"What makes you think that? I mean sure he helps out a lot but it's a team effort. I'm just happy he isn't a super villain in disguise.". "Yeah. It would just break Brad's heart." said Tony. Back at the bank, Zane had entered the bank with him soon sticking to the ceiling. He soon saw Thomas trying to break through the vault with Zane saying,"It's showtime.". He jumped down, alerting the meta human of his arrival.
Zane soon crossed his arms as he said,"Seriously Frosty? I mean I'm sure you're in trouble with the Gold Commander after mucking up your assignment and now you're resorting to bank heists? That's beneath you.". "No job is beneath me kid. It'll be worth it and hopefully, your time won't be waste with my friends beating the snot out of you." said Thomas. "Okay then. You're not at all subtle are you?" said Zane. Thomas shrugged as Crisis Judgement went off.
Zane soon phased into the ground, allowing him to evade Atlas who tried to tackle him. The man was shocked by this development and Topaz who appeared from an electrical outlet nearby him. As Zane resurfaced from the ground, Crisis Judgement went off again. Rudy went right through Zane being that Rudy was soon upcutted by Hornet who grew into his normal size. Zane turned solid just after Pierce tried to slice him as he said,"So who are your friends Frosty? Meet them online?".
Zane jumped back as he said,"I've heard that internet dating is pretty popular and successful but you finding bad guys online? That's just impressive.". "Meet the new Tremendous and you'll be fearing us real soon Zero." said Thomas as the five villains stood beside their leader. "Well, I didn't fear the last one so I hope you make your threat worth it." said Zane, getting ready to fight despite the odds being against him.
Meanwhile outside of Cypress High, Allen got in the backseat of his car with Brooke with the two smiling at each other. Karen and Rachel got into their car. "I hope Hannah doesn't get too mad at him tonight dad. They really hate each other." said Karen as Scott sighed. His daughter's car left as he saw Hannah waiting by Scott's personal car. "So Alvarez is late because why again?" said Hannah as she crossed her arms. "Personal reasons and he'll be here soon." said Scott.
Back at the bank, Zane dodged both Thomas and Topaz's blast of electricity and ice. This caused the room to be covered in smoke as the six heard,"Oh wow. I guess I must be a serious threat if all of you are coming after me at once. Was the Battalion too busy or did you not call the Outcast Syndicate?". "I really thought the commander was actually joking about his mouth boss but no he was not." said Hornet.
Thomas nodded as he said,"Zero is known for two things Hornet. His mouth and his brain. He's one of his forms by now. Atlas and Acrobat. Get him to come out and play.". "Got it." said the two as the smaller man began bouncing around the room. Atlas soon began throwing furniture around with the ice man saying,"Topaz! Electrocute him!". He pointed to the upper right corner of the room with the electricity man nodding.
He soon fired electricity at a table, destroying it and revealing Zane who was in Matter Form. "Let me guess. You memorized the room and just so happen to noticed the extra table." said Zane. He soon dodged the duo of Atlas and Hornet with the later growing to be the same size as Atlas. Zane stretched his arms out to the side and then transformed them into slime being a blue color. He threw the slime at the two, blinding them and was then kicked in the back by Rudy.
Pierce soon grabbed Zane with him throwing him into the wall and then sliced the hero. As Zane regenerate, he heard,"We're just getting warmed up hero.". As Thomas froze the slime off Atlas and Hornet, Topaz tried to blast Zane. The teen turned into smoke, evading the attack. He deactivated the form with him throwing candy syrup at Topaz's arms and binding him. Zane evaded another attack combo from Atlas and Rudy.
Thomas was about to blast Zane who was distracted with the trio of Hornet, Pierce, and Rudy but Atlas coughed and pointed at the money bags he was now holding. "You're right Atlas. We're on the clock and soon hero, I'll be turning you into a herocle." said Thomas. "Oh wow. You made a pun. I'm so proud of you." said Zane, with him fake crying. As his team was beginning to leave the bank, the cryokinetic looked at Zane with him saying,"I'm not too cold to not have a sense of humor.".
He soon fired two ice blasts at the roof above Zane, leaving the teen completely covered in frozen rubble. Thomas froze the area around Zane just to make sure with him leaving with his crew. The ice was melting away with Zane soon phasing out of the rubble. "And now, I'm now dealing with six superpowered mercenaries who have practiced using their powers. I'll meet them again soon another so I better go to Hannah. Lucky me." said Zane as he was gone.
Later at Cypress High, Zane ,out of costume, had arrived with Scott standing there and Hannah was not pleased but not angry like he expected. "You're late." said Hannah, hands on her hips. "Well. I'm so sorry that I'm late since I'm running a currently successful company until a certain someone who asked me for help and didn't put in any effort when I did." said Zane. "You two can have your typical fight in the car you two." said Scott, opening the backseat to his car.
Zane nodded as he entered the car with Hannah saying,"Back there with him? You can't be serious sir.". "Come on Harpie. I mean Scott's car is cleaner than captain's car plus he's the police captain so we get to take the scenic route." said Zane. Scott sighed as he thought,"Really should have let them pick their partners but no.". Meanwhile in the car contained Allen and Brooke. "So Brooke, I hope you're liking Cypress Park. It's a very nice city." said Allen.
Brooke looked at him as she said,"It is Allen and you're looking well. I see that you were right about your friend Zane in your letters. He's quite the character and athlete. Have you seen his impressive backflip?". Allen sighed as he said,"Yeah. He tends to do things that get people's attentions being that he tends to do bad or good things to get attention. So do you got any plans for tomorrow? Mack gave me the wonderful idea of showing you around Cypress Park.".
Brooke smiled as she said,"Are you asking me out Allen?". "Maybe." said Allen. "I have my first job at the aquarium tonight so how about we go after then?" said Brooke. "Then it's a date then." said Allen. The two cops ,both women, in front of them gushed as they said,"Young love.". Both Allen and Brooke soon blushed at the two's statement. Later at that bank from earlier in the night, the quartet of Brad, Cyrus, Hannah, and Zane were there along with their police escort.
Brad sighed as he said,"So let me get this straight. You left school later than the rest of the class and to get one of you two to shut up, he took Zane to get Fantasia.". Zane nodded as he sipped on his slushie. "I wish we thought of that before tonight." said Hannah, with her arms crossed. "Yeah but this is really cool." said Brad. "You can't be serious. This is so boring even more than your neanderthal games. We missed the fight being that hopefully we could have seen Zero get punched in the face." said Cyrus.
Most of the officers ,who were working the scene, and Brad looked right at Cyrus with him soon shrugging. "Oh. I'm sorry for being the only person to have a different opinion on him. I just find him to be a pretentious pain in the ass and the reason why we have super villains." said Cyrus. "Just like a certain someone who was late and ditched me." said Hannah, glaring at Zane. "Oh wow. She really doesn't like you." said Twilight.
Athena said,"That's the understatement of the day. Cyrus hating you is interesting since the only people who hate you are either connected to Swarm or rich. Cyrus Epstein isn't rich so could he be a member of Swarm?". "The mystery behind him thickens!" said Cole. "Hey. I had my reasons for being late Hannah but I seem to recall that you were more focused on your phone rather than me trying to help you study which you kinda need for your dream school." said Zane.
Hannah soon raised her hands into the air with her saying,"You really always have to say something don't you?!". "It's kinda my thing and since you're going to go on a why I hate Zane Alvarez rant. I think we should go outside. Don't want to bother the police with their investigation after all." said Zane as he pushed the cheerleader outside. As he closed the door behind him, Zane heard,"What gives you the right to touch me? I could sue for sexual harassment.".
Zane turned to Hannah with him saying,"And I have my own team of lawyers so begin the rant that you have against me.". "You've ruined the A-List by joining the Football Team and being your normal annoying self! You somehow put a spell on Kris and the others being that most of them are nice to you and the other losers of Cypress High! Brad is trying to date a nerd and keeps trying even though she keeps saying no to him so he should get the hint." said Hannah.
Zane rolled his eyes as he said,"Okay. You really need to grow up. Times are changing Hannah and you should change as well. Brad is trying to change as well and I'm sure in time, Leigh will see Brad in a better light. I have faith in him as my friend and you should as well.". "Fine but why did you bail me on earlier? Was it because of Andrew?" said Hannah. "Yes and no. Andrew is a good friend of mine so I was worried about him but he was saved by Zero." said Zane.
Hannah looked at Zane with him saying,"And I left because you asked for my help and didn't give me the time I ask for. Hannah, I may not like you and David together being that the two of you are just not clicking for me. I could be in the minority but I like having this opinion. I don't share a hive mind with you or anyone else. If you want my help to get into fashion design, just give me the time of day because I saw your designs.". "You went into my room?!" screamed Hannah.
Twilight covered her ears as Kane said,"Twilight is about to go psycho on her Zane!". "I didn't do that Hannah. I went into the kitchen and saw a design of yours. It's really good and trust me, I know my fashion." said Zane. "Didn't you just learn the difference between jorts and shorts like a few days ago though?" said Cole. "To be fair, jorts are one of humanity's strangest inventions." said Lucifer. "You and I could be friends Hannah but well, we need to try talk instead of fighting." said Zane.
He walked back inside of the bank with Hannah standing there. She was wondering what to do about this but Hannah decided to think about it later since she decided to focus on her assignment. As she entered, Scott said to Ramona,"Zero was clearly here and fought someone or a group.". "Go Zero! He can kick anyone's ass!" said Brad. "I didn't know that we didn't know that we had two cheerleaders or as I called them, annoying and loud bitches in the room." said Cyrus.
This comment earned him a glare from Brad and Hannah. "Wow. He isn't making any friends at all Zane." said Cole. "He's also making your comments look nice." said Kane. "Which is an major feat given your comments and they're only going to get worse moving forward in life. Calling it now gang." said Kane. Scott walked over to a file cabinet with him saying,"Huh. Why is this here? Do you mind helping me Zane?".
Zane nodded as he went over the police tape. "Why is he going?!" said Hannah. "Well, the captain's arm is still hurt plus 51 isn't a bad person like you think he is." said Brad. Hannah looked away as the captain and Zane soon moved the file cabinet. It soon revealed a hole to what seems to be a costume shop. "This hole leads right to the costume shop next door. The perps tried to hide this hole. Inform the owner of a possible robbery and check with him if anything was stolen." said Scott.
Zane looked inside as he said,"Okay. What is Thomas up to? He isn't one to do something like this without a plan.". "And like how Scott asked one of his cops to figure it, I should do it as well." said Athena. "But aren't you focused on figuring out who Cyrus is." said Azalea. "I can multitask unlike Cole." said Athena. "Yeah. She's...hey!" said Cole, being that this comment earned laughter from the trio of Kane, Lucifer, and Sivarth.
Meanwhile, a truck was driving up to a building as it stopped. The back of the truck opened up to reveal Atlas and Rudy with both of them deck in police uniforms. "We got the income so lead us to the reserves." said Rudy with Atlas nodding. As the two were being lead into the building, a smaller Hornet flew in right after them as the trio of Pierce, Thomas, and Topaz watched the scene from the rooftop across the street. "Phase two is complete. Get ready for phase three." said Thomas.
In another police car, the duo of Karen and Rachel were sitting in their car. "So Karen. What are you doing for Zane on Valentine Day? I know that we have that big group date but I'm sure all of us are going to do something special. Kris was not a happy girl as Kane interrupted her and Zane's date after she passed her science test." said Rachel. "Didn't you come up with the rule of not sharing the details of the other plans for him so he doesn't find out?" said Karen.
Rachel soon sighed as she said,"Yeah but it was majority ruling. I know that we have a very unique circumstance when it comes to Zane but all of us are real close to each other even if we excluding Zane from the equation. Our relationship may have some problems now but I'm sure that in time, we'll get better plus I think we should do something really big as a group.". The two cops ,both of them male, were jealous of Zane due to them neither having that kind of luck with the ladies ever.
The duo of Atlas and Rudy were heading down the hallway when a guard stopped them. "Hey there you two. You're going the wrong way so you need to turn around...." said the guard. Before he could finish his sentence, the man fell to the ground unconscious as Hornet stood there. "Knock out the two coming toward us so the others can come in here without alerting the heroes." said Hornet. "You don't order me around bug but I'll do it anyway. Don't want to be frozen." said Rudy.
He soon flipped into the air with him knocking out both of the guards heading toward them. The trio soon reached a desk with Atlas looking over to see several computers and monitors there. Nearby the desk, the other members of their group (Pierce, Thomas, and Topaz) arrived. Pierce shook his head as he said,"Okay. That feels weird.". "Eh. I'm used to it by now." said Topaz. Thomas soon went over to the desk as he soon froze the desk within seconds.
He turned to his team as he said,"We got the elevator disabled alongside the security cameras and alarm.". "Time to begin the party boys." said Rudy. Atlas opened the box he had been pushing for a while now thanks to the hover dolly, revealing his and Rudy's suit. Back at the bank, everyone was leaving the bank as Tony said,"It's the owner of the costume shop captain.". Scott was handled a phone as he started to talk with the owner.
The four teens left the business with Brad ,the one whose leg is broken, being the last one to leave and as he left, he pushed Cyrus while he did that. "Hey there Neanderthal. I know that you're used to pushing people either though they're usually never in your way most of the time but you don't push me around got it?" said Cyrus. "Oh just shut up. You're even worse than Kevin was. Here's a news flash. No one likes you so far." said Brad. "And now the male blond is going to vent." said Cyrus.
Brad glared at him as he said,"Yes I am. You may not like Zero but most of us do so you should be able to deal with it. I think the only people other than you who share your opinion are Swarm. They hate him despite him saving them from danger several times. They judge him as a monster just because he has Phantom powers but he doesn't care. I may be injured but my hero said that I was cool for doing it. He's the reason why I'm trying to change for the better.".
Cyrus sighed as he said,"I know that you have a massive hard on for Zero but here's the news flash for you Neanderthal. Zero is a piece of trash. He causes trouble for innocent people and a menace to our peaceful society. For you and the dumb people who actually like him, grow up and find a real hero to respect.". Zane looked at Cyrus with him thinking,"Wow. He really doesn't like me you guys. So did I do something to him? I mean this hatred has an origin right?".
Before Brad could say anything, Hannah walked up to Cyrus much to the white hair teen's shock as she slapped him. Everyone ,except for Scott, looked at the girl. "Shut the hell up. Zero is a hero. He saves people from the goodness of the heart. While I may think Brad is being an real big idiot for trying to date a nerd, he's been changing for the better. You shouldn't talk shit about him because I'm sure that even though you hate him, he would save you if you were in trouble." said Hannah.
Lucifer said,"You really would wouldn't you?". "Probably. I'll save my enemies since in the end of it all, they're innocent somehow. I mean I did save Andrew earlier from Miasma and he's part of the Odium Society aka the group who is trying to kill me." said Zane. Cyrus scoffed as he said,"I don't care about that. Fuck all of you. I'm heading home. I thought I would find someone who shares the RIGHT opinion about him but nope. All of you are sheeple.".
He soon walked off with Ramona soon looked at Scott who finished up his call. "Let him go. I'm sure that everyone was sick of him." said Scott. "But what if his parents call about him leaving?" said Ramona. "I may not know Cyrus too well but he seems the type to just ignore his parents because they may like Zero. Anyway, we need to get going." said Scott. The officers soon left the scene as Zane thought,"Okay. Who are you really Cyrus?".
Back with the Tremendous, the six were just walking down the halls of the bank. Two guards soon aimed their weapon at them with the guard on the left saying,"Stop right there!". Thomas grabbed one of his grenades ,on his belt, and threw it. The two guards and the area around them were frozen with Thomas said,"Get moving boys.". The five men nodded as two of the remaining guards went to the still frozen desk. "They're heading for the vault! Hit the kill switch!" said one of the guards.
The other guard looked at him and said,"Do you not see it that the desk is frozen?". Atlas walked up to them with him throwing both of them into wall and knocking both of them out. "They'll be fine I think." said Atlas as the two guards slumped to the floor. The six soon went into the elevator and the door soon closed behind them. A few moments later, something soon began coming out of the bank's vent. It was Miasma being that he growled.
The slime monster looked around him with him saying,"After all of these years, I found them and the short ones cheap cologne. Thank you boss. You didn't lie to me about getting my revenge and becoming a star.". Inside of his slime like body, he had an earpiece floating nearby where the skull's ears has and the voice on the other end said,"Of course Miasma. I always promise my loyal followers what they deserve.". Miasma soon looked toward the elevator and smiled.
Outside, Scott's car stopped at the same building that the Tremendous were currently inside of. Both Hannah and Zane stepped out of the car and Scott soon joined them. "So why are we at the federal reserve building exactly?" said Hannah. "She kinda has a point." said Zane. "Kinda? I have a point Zane." said Hannah. "The owner told me that two of the federal reserve employees recently got their uniforms from the costume shop." said Scott.
Hannah nodded as Scott said,"By breaking and robbing the bank, they were leading us in a different direction. It gave them the time they needed to make their move. We brought in a MCC also known as mobile command center. You two should be safe in there.". He soon pointed to a police truck. "As much as I would love to be in a truck filled with the fine officers of Cypress Park but my stomach has been growling. Mind if I go get a snack from that nearby store over there?" said Zane.
He pointed to a nearby convenience store as Scott got the hint. "Right. Just be careful and try not to get into any trouble." said Scott. "I'll try but you know me." said Zane. He soon ran off as Hannah said to Scott,"Thank god. I couldn't last another moment with that guy. He's such a pain.". "Yes but he has his moments of good right? He's willing to help you succeed even though you and him don't get along at all." said Scott. Hannah didn't say anything knowing that he was right.
Zane soon ducked into a alleyway which was nearby the convenience store. "Okay. It's time to take out the Tremendous trash. I would have called the others but I'm sure that George and Reactor's group are planning something big like Andrew is doing." said Zane, turning into Legion Zero. "I would say that you should have some help against the Tremendous Zane but you have a point. There is a gang war on the horizons." said Athena. "Yeah but I'm ready for it." said Zane.
Back with Thomas's group, the elevator had stopped with the group stepping out. Upon seeing what they came here for, Hornet and Topaz's jaws soon hit the floor. "Gentleman. Let me introduce you to the vault of gold that was gratuitously donated to the federal reserve by the elite and spoiled members of our society. There is over ten billion here in solid gold bars." said Thomas. "So what do you want us to do about it?" said Atlas.
Thomas soon turned to his group as he said,"Acrobat, Atlas, Hornet, and Pierce. Your four will start packing the gold for winter while me and Topaz keep out the uninvited guest.". As the two element users walked toward the elevator shaft, the four other Tremendous members soon began picking up bars of gold and placing them into the hover dolly. Thomas and Topaz blasted the elevator shaft with the combination of electricity and ice.
It was unusable and trapping the villainous group underground. As the duo of Thomas and Topaz soon went to go help with the rest of their group, they didn't see dark green slime ,with a dark reddish hue, heading toward them. Above them, Scott walked over to one of the injured guards and he said to the guard,"How many of them were there?". "There were six of them. All of them had superpowers Captain Castro. We couldn't do anything about them. I'm so sorry." said the guard.
Before Scott could say anything to the guard, both he and the guard heard,"Don't worry. Even if they have superpowers, they aren't invincible.". Scott turned around to see Zane as Legion Zero standing there. Back in the vault, Atlas and Hornet were focused on putting the gold bars into the dolly that they brought with them. Rudy stood there and he turned toward the trio of Pierce, Thomas, and Topaz being that the trio was focused on breaking down the wall in font of them.
Thomas and Topaz blasted the wall with their respective elements with Pierce slicing the wall after the two finished blasting it with the elements. This repeated pattern of attacks soon resulted in the wall getting cracked and revealing what was on the other side. It was a train as Rudy said,"That's our getaway vehicle?". "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth Acrobat. It's better than getting stuck with something like a handcar." said Thomas.
Pierce and Rudy looked confused as Thomas said,"Idiots. Just break it down already Acrobat.". Rudy nodded as he soon began building up energy by bouncing all around the room, avoiding the rest of his team. He soon slammed into the destroyed wall with the wall completely destroyed. Above them, the trio of Zane, Scott, and the guard stood in front of the destroyed elevator shaft. "They were strong but really stupid." said the guard.
Zane looked at the guard with the guard saying with a smirk,"They destroyed the elevator and the stairs don't go down to that floor. They're trapped like rats for the next couple of days until we can get them out and they'll be just pleading with us to arrest them.". "Cryonic and his crew aren't idiots like most of the gangs here in Cypress Park. The Tremendous are one of the best criminal groups in the world so this elevator destruction was planned from the start." said Zane.
Zane turned to the police and he said,"I need to get down there fast so that the upper class will not being complaining about missing gold and blame me for it despite me trying to stop the people who took the gold in the first place.". "You can't just back talk me like that." said the guard. "Ignore him Zero. So how are you getting down there?" said Scott. "I'm going the more direct route." said Zane as he soon jumped down with him soon diving his way down.
Unknown to Zane, Thomas was watching the hero heading toward them thanks to the screen that was on the dolly. Before Thomas froze the main desk, he had the feed from the security cameras installed onto the dolly since he didn't like the unexpected. "Our favorite pest is here. I think we should make him feel welcome. Atlas, give Acrobat a boost and Topaz. Get him a shock." said Thomas. He knew that Zero could handle the electricity but the police couldn't.
Zero was able to defeat eight members of the Battalion in the past but the Battalion didn't have the same training as the Tremendous. The three in question nodded as they went over to the destroyed elevator. Atlas threw Rudy ,like a football, upwards into the air with Topaz covering the entire elevator shaft in his electricity and the entire shaft was electrify. Rudy was getting ready to counter the pest that once arrested him and he was going to get his revenge.
Zane was diving down toward the bottom with Zane hearing Rudy coming up to him. "He'll be here in about five seconds. It's showtime." said Zane. Zane soon stuck onto the wall just as Rudy was about to strike into him. "So does this guy have powers like his boss or is it his suit? I honestly don't know. His powers remind me of Orb Form except smaller." said Lucifer. "I think for him and the big guy, it's the suit but the other members are metahumans." said Zane.
Sivarth said,"What makes you sure?". "They have their metagene activate. That's how you can tell if someone is a metahuman or not." said Zane. "Understood." said Sivarth. As he was having this conversation, Zane kept dodging Rudy's attempts at hitting him. Zane soon noticed that the walls were covered in traces of dark green slime as he said to himself,"Okay. I think we need to get down there right now!".
He soon dodged Rudy once again being that he was soon above Rudy. He soon made Oathbreaker appear in his hands and slammed it into Rudy hard, sending the man down fast. In the vault, Thomas watched the man bouncing all around the room before stopping himself by slamming into a pile of gold bars, causing them to spill onto the floor. Zane stood there with him saying while holding his hammer behind him,"Sorry that I'm late but I had the bouncing wonder to deal with first.".
Pierce soon smiled as he said,"So is it just you or what? I mean I'm sure you can count.". "Yeah but honestly, playing the numbers game means nothing to me." said Zane. He soon sent a clone toward Pierce being that the two soon clashed blades with the Zone (Zane Clone or Zero Clone) holding Espada. "Round it up Atlas and Hornet. We'll squashed the hero and his pals while you two get the gold onto the train." said Thomas.
Atlas and Hornet nodded as they pushed the dolly which was filled to the brim with gold. As Topaz was trying to blast Zane with electricity, he and Thomas fought hand to hand. "So I have a question for you snowy. Are all electricity villains bad shots? I mean both this guy and Clair are bad shots so I was just curious." said Zane. He soon sprouted a fist toward Topaz, sending him into a stack of gold bars which was right by Rudy.
Rudy turned toward his friend as he said,"Okay. That looked painful but that's nothing compared to one of those forms.". Zane knew that even holding back, his hits really hit. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane soon saw Topaz firing two of his electrical blasts at the gold bars that were above him and Thomas. The two leaders jumped back as the floor was soon covered in gold bars. Thomas glared at Topaz with him saying,"We're leaving now.".
Pierce blocked Zone's sword with him saying,"But we clearly have the advantage to him boss.". "He's right plus look at all of the gold we have left." said Rudy. "I've been feeling something strange for a while now and I want to leave with what we have. Do you two want to piss off the Gold Commander any time soon? Also two better do what I say or else." said Thomas. "Nope. We're on it." said the duo of Pierce and Rudy in unison.
Thomas soon made two giant walls of ice as they blocked Zane and his clone for going after them for only a couple of moments. Atlas had just arrived on the train with the trio of Pierce, Rudy, and Topaz soon arriving on as well. Thomas joined them with him saying,"Start it now.". "Wait. Where's Hornet Atlas?" said Pierce. Atlas shrugged as Thomas said,"He's be fine Pierce. Just do what I said.". "On it boss." said Rudy.
Thomas saw the ice walls melting probably thanks to the hero's unique colored flames. "So where did bug guy go anyway?" said Cole. "Got a feeling that it's the monster we've dealt with twice today and hopefully, third time's the charm." said Zane. As he finished that statement, the ice walls melted and he stepped through the hole in the wall. The train was already heading off as Zane smiled. The duo of Thomas and Topaz were blasting the subway with electricity and ice.
This was just in case of Zero chasing them but Zane was flying above them and was intangible. "Push it faster!" said Thomas. "On it boss!" said Pierce, moving the switch forward. Zane landed on the roof of the train with him standing there and turned tangible. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane said,"I'm pretty sure that snowy doesn't have Crisis Judgement or can see into the future but he's definitely a pro that's for sure.".
He soon turned around to see Rudy heading toward him and blocked him by making a green Nether ramp. Rudy slammed right into the ramp and was sent upwards. Just before he was about to regain himself, he heard,"Astral Marksman!". Zane soon aimed his left hand at Rudy being that the hero was slowly gathering Primordial energy into his hand. He fired out a blast of the energy being that he soon repeated the motion several times.
Rudy was hit with a barrage of bullets being that the ground below Zane was slowly breaking and the hero was inside of the train car. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane backflipped into the air, evading Atlas's tackle once again. Rudy soon slammed into the bottom of the subway and then soon got back up to chase the train car. Zane turned to Thomas who was glaring at him. "Sorry but we have to make a sudden stop so hang on tight." said Zane.
He soon went to the front of the train and phased through the front. He soon transformed into Gravity Form and stopped the train by holding on tight and forcing it to a sudden stop. Thomas and Topaz soon tried to blast Zane with their respective elements being that Rudy was going to slam right into Zane in order to make him let go of the train. He was soon held in the air by Zane's gravity powers with Zane saying,"Strike.".
The living rock sent him right into the train, hitting all four members of the Tremendous before all of them fell to the ground. Zane ,who had deactivated Gravity Form and had swapped into Gunslinger Form, landed in the train cabin through the front window which had broke upon Zane stopping the train earlier. The marsupial looked around the train cabin with him noticing that Rudy was missing but he sighed.
Zane soon dodged the man who tried to kick him in the back and grabbed his leg, sending him toward Atlas. Atlas grabbed Rudy, pushing the man back at bit. "Okay. I'll make a deal with you bad folks so listen up. Instead of forward, we should go backwards." said Zane. He soon aimed his guns at the switch and fired two bullets. It hit the switch, causing the train to go backwards. This soon caused the people inside of the train to fall over with Zane being the only one not to be effected.
As they were heading backwards, the Tremendous recovered. "Get him!" said Thomas. He soon froze the gold in place so it wouldn't get sent out of the car. Atlas soon charged toward Zane with the hero turning into Brawn Form. The two clashed with him saying,"Hey Atlas. Want to hear something really funny?" Atlas was confused being that Rudy was soon heading toward them and Pierce was heading toward them as well.
Zane smiled as he soon picked up Atlas much to his shock as the hero said,"Atlas Double!". Pierce and Rudy's attacks hit Atlas instead of Zane being that Topaz's electricity did as well. Thomas soon watched Zane who threw Atlas at the trio of Pierce, Rudy, and Topaz. "Get off them Atlas! Zero is our main priority!" said Thomas. "Oh wow. You're a real rude boss." said Zane. Atlas was about to move before all of them heard,"Cedric! Rudy! Thomas!".
Atlas got off his teammates as he said,"Is that him? He died years ago.". "Mind telling me about who you're talking about?" said Topaz. Zane soon saw something coming toward them with him saying,"I think you're about to get your answer sparky.". He soon stopped the train's movements as Pierce and Topaz saw a giant Miasma heading toward them with several gold blocks floating through his body. "You'll pay for doing this to me!" said Miasma.
He fired his slime at the train with the slime having blocks of gold inside of it, causing the train to shake a bit. "So how does he know you guys? Meet online?" said Zane. "How many times are you going to make that joke?" said Athena. "Once Zane gets better material which will never happen but I hope it does." said Twilight as Thomas stayed silent. Zane swapped out of Brawn Form and making the Cluster Neutron Cannon appear.
He aimed the weapon at Miasma with him firing out a huge barrage of missiles, destroying the back of the train and was pushing Miasma back. "I'm sure that you're going to hate this idea but working together is our best course of action." said Zane. "And why would we with you hero?" said Pierce as he was soon hit the face by a gold bar. The bar was covered in Miasma's slime being that the sword creating man screamed as his face was slowly being dissolves.
Zane transformed into Restore Form with him saying,"That's why and hold still. You'll be back to normal soon.". "Hey kid." said Thomas, looking at Zane being that while he was healing Pierce, he was still firing his weapon aka Cluster Neutron Cannon at Miasma. "What?" said Zane. "Can your gun absorb energy?" said Thomas. "Nope but I think we have the same goal in mind. How about a combo move?" said Zane. "Okay. Topaz, fire electricity at the monster." said Thomas.
Topaz looked at his boss with him saying,"You can't be serious.". "Yes I am and if you refuse, I'll feed you to that thing." said Thomas, with him pointing to Miasma who roared. Topaz sighed as he fired several blasts of electricity at Miasma, keeping him back along with Zane's missile. "So kid, do you got any idea to stop that thing?" said Rudy. "He's weak to fire and ice and as you saw earlier, he is able to burn you upon contact. We also can't cause a cave in." said Zane.
He finished healing Pierce as Thomas nodded. he soon fired a large wave of ice at Miasma, freezing his entire body solid. "So why can't we cause a cave in and thanks?" said Pierce. "Because of Cypress Park right above us Pierce. Hey kid. Mind bringing the heat? He's breaking out of my icy grip." said Thomas being that the ice prison around Miasma was slowly breaking. Zane slowly nodded as he transformed into Pyre Form.
The duo of Thomas and Zane fired their respective elements at Miasma, causing it to roar. "This will not stop me from getting my revenge! You left me in that cave to die!" said Miasma. Pierce and Topaz soon looked at the test of the group with Thomas sighing. "The past is in the past. You may think that I'm a monster but he deserved to die back then. He and his group caused the deaths of some orphans. That's against the rules of the Tremendous." said Thomas.
Kane said,"Wow. He's real cold but I'm sure I would do the same thing. Those kids had so little to begin with but to take their lives, that's messed up.". Miasma soon threw a huge ball of slime being that it flew right above the train and it landed in front of the train. The slime hardened being that the train collided with the solid. The train soon rolled on its side with the occupants inside being tossed around.
Atlas's suit was breaking from the impact being that they eventually stopped. "Okay. Everyone still alive?" said Thomas. He saw Atlas, carrying the block of ice which contained the gold. Pierce, Rudy, and Topaz followed him as Thomas said,"There's my answer. So what are you going to do about it kid?". He turned to Zane with him saying,"Stop this monster and keep you idiots from taking all of the gold.". "I would like to see you try." said Thomas.
The ice man looked at Zane, seeing that he was serious. "So want to work together? I'm sure both of us agree that we can take him down if we work together." said Thomas. "Yeah. Can you handle the heat?" said Zane as Thomas chuckled. "Kid. I grew up in Cypress Park. This place is one of the best cities in the world but man, it's a inferno here during the summer am I right?" said Thomas. "Truer words have never been spoken my ice antagonist." said Zane.
Thomas sighed as he said,"Kid. Like my boss, I respect you. That slime is a result of combining some radiation that was from a torn down nuclear power plant and human. Probably activated his metagene in the process. Anyway, I trapped the man Cecil Holloway and four other men within a cave in to die. Cecil was a two bit actor before he began working with the Odium Society. They killed those innocent kids to escape from the police and didn't regret their actions when I confront them.".
Thomas clenched his fists as he said," I may be a criminal but killing kids or hurting the innocent is something I'm against.". Zane nodded as he said,"I respect you as well Thomas. You're the only criminal who escaped me so I've wanted to captured you for a long time. Unlike my other villains, you're not doing this for yourself but kids who went through a tragic past similar to you.". "You did your research on me didn't you?" said Thomas.
Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. Any kind of knowledge ,big or small, is important. I think Cecil is ready for round two.". The living flame soon turned toward Miasma who roared and Thomas got ready to fight. Meanwhile above ground, Hannah poked her head out of the mobile command center and she said,"So are we going to be here all night? Some of us have a life you know.". "I want to go back home to study and maybe Zane may help me if I ask nicely." thought Hannah.
Scott was about to answer her but he just barely dodged Topaz's blast. The other members of the Tremendous ,except for Hornet who had been missing for a while now, were climbing out of the sewer grate. Topaz kept the officers busy with him saying,"Get out of here you guys. We need to leave before that monster shows up with the corpse of our boss and the hero in its body!". Unknown to Topaz, something jumped out of the sewer.
It was Zone being that he said,"I honestly don't get how the Prime can do the whole sewer thing but now isn't the time to question that.". He soon transformed into Brain Form being that he was in his human form. Since we haven't seen in Zero before now, I'll be introducing it despite introducing it within Fairy Legion Chapter 20. He's 4 foot 11 being almost 5 foot tall. He’s a short boy with him looking more frog than human.
His skin is still gray with him having a muscular frame and well defined jawline for his age. He has dark teal colored hair with it being slightly messy and going down to his chin. His eyes are the same, his skin is still covered in warts, and gills on the sides of his neck. He has three strips ,with it being black, emerald green, and red, from the stop and bottom of his eyes and forehead around his eyes. He wears a pair of black sunglasses and carries a large kiseru pipe.
It's currently lit with him smoking. His mouth is slightly bigger than before. His legs and neck are normal sized. He grows an extra finger,making him have five fingers. He wears a black skin-tight jumpsuit that covers his chest, shoulders, and his thighs. His jumpsuit has a black collar around his neck. He wears bandages and mesh armor wrapped around his arms and legs. He wears silver arm-guards, leg-guards, and samurai pauldrons. He wears a massive dosu-blade/tanto at his hip.
He wears a large black happi vest with a white sash. He still wears his toeless black boots with green cuffs and he wears a pair of black fingerless gloves with a gold pyramid on the back of the gloves. It was within a second that the frog like human soon fired his tongue out of his mouth. It soon wrapped around Topaz much to his confusion. Zone soon threw him into the air with Topaz yelling,"Time to fry this frog!".
He released a huge amount of electricity toward Zone being that Zone dodged it and jumped toward the metahuman. The human ,who has frog like elements, soon held his blade and he sliced down on the male version of Voltaire. Topaz soon went flying toward the nearby convenience store and the electricity being soon turned around to face the store. "I remember working at this hell back in the day. Instead of facing me hero, focus on the people that you were sworn to protect!" said Topaz.
He fired electricity at the building, causing an explosion which engulfed the shop and the surrounding area. Hannah visibly gasped at this scene being that she thought that Zane was still inside of the store just before it went kaboom. Scott knew the truth being that he was sure that Zane was going to be fine since he was the teenage/pre-teen humanoid frog maybe. He knew that Zane could replicate himself being that he couldn't tell the difference between Zane and his clones.
Hannah screamed out,"Zane!". Topaz had both of his arms sparkling with electricity and was ready to fire on the command center mainly to shut up Hannah. However, he was stopped from his assault by a truck in front of him. Atlas was driving it with Topaz scoffing and said,"You got lucky this time you damn punk so farewell.". He soon got into the truck with Atlas soon driving off and Zone was focused on handling the convenience store's fire.
He was doing this by deactivating Brain Form and going into Terrapin Form, releasing powerful bursts of winds. The truck soon went over a sewer grate which suddenly exploded with water and launched the truck into the air. Zone watched several sewer grates around him erupt with water with him thinking,"Pretty sure that the Prime is the result of this. I better catch them to make sure that they don't escape.".
The turtle ,while in his shell, soon floated ,using the wind, toward the truck being that he caught the truck and placed it onto the ground. Before the four members of Tremendous could do anything, they were soon surrounded by the police, causing them to raise their hands and give up. They were either cuffed with regular cuffs and power hampering cuffs for the two metahumans. Zone stood there with him saying,"So what happened down there?".
He soon turned around to see Zane ,out of Pyre Form, and was holding a glass tube. Inside of the glass tube, there was an average sized Caucasian who was currently asleep. He has a lean build and a shaved head. He's wearing an orange prisoner uniform. "So who is that?" said Zone. "Our slime pal but human. After me and Thomas gave me a bath, he turned into this and I trapped himself inside of the glass tube. We need to get him into a better stasis tank." said Zane.
Zone nodded as he said,"Very interesting. So did you make him clothes?". "Nope. He had this on before we dissolve Miasma into Cecil. It was kinda a good thing because honestly, I was totally expecting him to be in his birthday suit." said Zane. He soon looked at the water that was covering the city streets. Zane shrugged as he made Zone disappeared being that he walked through the street with the sleeping Miasma. Lets find out how this happened.
Flashback P.O.V.
Below the city, Thomas and Zane ,still in Pyre Form, fired ice and fire respectively at Miasma. The slime monster roared being that his body was covered in holes. The wounds were slowly regenerated with Thomas saying,"Okay. We need a better plan. He keeps regenerating from whatever we give him and he's probably getting pissed off.". "Okay. I have an idea. His regeneration has its limits so lets give him a wound that will take him a long time so we can come with a plan." said Zane.
He soon turned into Pyre Prime with Miasma saying,"Die!". He threw a huge blob at slime at the two with Zane saying,"Hellfire Emperor Absolute Method: Fireball Gusher!". Zane swung both of his arms back with his arms glowing red hot and each hand forming a fireball. Zane soon swung his arms forward, launching large fireballs through the air toward a target. Upon hitting Miasma, he was soon engulfed in a geyser of flames bigger than both Thomas and Zane.
Thomas nodded as he said,"Yep. That'll do it. So why aren't I burning up?". "Because I'm keeping the heat from burning you alive snowy. So question. Do you remember anything else about the radiation?" said Zane. "Not much kid since it's been years ago. I do remember that the nuclear power plant had banned all liquids. It's no one why the place closed done since people need water to live or at least some kind of liquid. So what's the plan?" said Thomas.
Zane nodded as he said,"Just follow my lead okay snowy?". "Sure thing but don't call me that." said Thomas. Zane soon transformed into Water Form but wasn't in his armor. It was Water Form without the armor being that this got an upgrade since it's last appearance in Zero Episode 42. He's now eight feet tall just like the armor. He has dark gray scales over his body with black tribal tattoo designs on his chest, lower arms, shoulders, thighs, and upper arms.
His eyes has black sclera and eerie white pupils to them. His head is fish like with his face matching a crocodile. His mouth is filled with several rows of sharp triangle shaped teeth. When his mouth is closed, seven of his pointed teeth being revealed. Four on the top and three on the bottom. He wears black clothing around his forearms and calves. He's wearing a black swim shirt with his logo at the center and matching boardshorts with a black belt with a wave belt buckle.
His underbelly/stomach is white. He wears no shoes or gloves with webbed feet and hands. His neck now have gills on the sides of them. He wears a black respirator or choker on his neck with water around his gills. He loses his gray dorsal fin plus the dark blue fin on his head but keeps the ones on his forearms. "So is this a new form of yours Zero? I honestly don't know since you have too many forms." said Thomas.
Zane smiled as he said,"Nope. It's a classic one Tommy. Make an ice raft right now. We're going sewer surfing bro.". The fish man soon extended his arms to the side which created a larger than normal circle of water around him. "Ocean Emperor Extinction Tsunami!" said Zane. He slammed his hands on the ground, causing the water to flow upwards which created a pillar of water around Miasma.
The slime monster soon punched the water, causing him to roar in pain. Thomas saw the water had completely erased Miasma's arm. Thomas looked at Zane with him saying,"So that thing doesn't like a bath huh?". "Right. I honestly just took a shot in the dark and it worked. Get ready. It's show time." said Zane. He shrunk the pillar with Miasma getting battered violently by waves. The monster looked battered from the water.
Miasma yelled,"I want my revenge. You ruined my life because I killed a couple of kids. They had nothing since their parents died. I didn't tell you this back then but I enjoyed hearing them suffer.". Thomas clenched his teeth as Zane stopped him. "Don't do anything stupid Thomas. He's trying to goad you into doing something stupid." said Zane. "I know kid but what the hell am I supposed to do? Your attacks are the only ones that did any damage to it." said Thomas.
Zane nodded as he said,"Just do as I said. The waves should be coming soon.". The man soon saw several large waves heading toward them as he made an ice surfboard. The man surfed away being that he dodged Miasma's swipe and was engulfed by the water that came toward him. Zane jumped into the water, swimming through it. Zane gathered water in both of his hands with him joining them together to make a single and giant sphere of water at Miasma.
Zane fired it at Miasma, causing a huge and disastrous explosion of water upon contact. "Die!" yelled Miasma. Zane swam over to Thomas and said,"In three minutes, freeze the entire water.". "What about you kid?" said Thomas. "I'll be fine. Just watch and learn. I live in this chaos. Oh and you may want to get him to safety." said Zane, diving back into the water. Thomas saw the unconscious Hornet and moved his board over to him.
The ice man put the bug over his shoulder and he said to himself,"And now, I wait for my que. Don't let me down kid". Miasma was looking for Zane being that over time, his body was slowly getting smaller due to all of the water around him. Miasma soon got blasted in the face by a barrage of several water bullets. Miasma looked at Zane who had changed once again. He's twelve feet tall with him being the same height as Water Prime (Armor). He has navy blue scales.
On his head, he has two medium sized streamlined black fins that go from the top of his eyes to past his shoulders. He wears a naturally black and blue mask. His black sclera turn white and his white pupils turn red that glow bright. His white underbelly didn’t change much except for a large navy blue stripe run down the middle of it. He keeps his tattoos along with his head and clothing. "Zero! I will kill you!" said Miasma, firing several balls of slime at Zane.
The fish man dodged them as they dissolved upon entering the water. "This is Water Prime without the armor! Ocean Emperor Absolute Method: Dragon's Rage!" said Zane being that he spoke this from within the water. He gathered a massive amount of water being that the entire area around him already covered in water. He aimed his arm at Miasma, firing a massive dragon out of water at his target.
Miasma was soon slammed by the massive water construct being that above the sewers, water was coming out of the sewer grates. Zane was in the air as he saw the water slowly freezing right below him. Despite having a giant hole in him, Miasma tried to hit Zane but Zane said,"As your boss probably said once before given his cold nature, chill out. Permafrost Emperor Absolute Method: Blizzard Czar!".
He focused his frost making powers with him making a water wheel with it having a snake design in the interior, blades or buckets similar to a chainsaw, and it’s the size of a carriage wheel. He threw it at Miasma with the monster touching it. The wheel broke apart and turns into several lances which Zane threw at Miasma. He threw a giant lance of ice ,which looked to be the size of three smaller ice lances, and the tip was similar to a trident.
He threw it, causing a massive explosion of frost to hit Miasma. Zane finishes off the attack with a barrage of large snowflakes the size of car wheels and they spin like buzz saws. Upon finishing, the area is left in a destroyed state. The ground is destroyed with cracks everywhere and the water was frozen solid thanks to Thomas. Zane landed on the ice with him looking at the frozen and bruised statue of Miasma. Thomas walked up to him with Hornet joining him.
The bug was shaking from all of the cold as he said,"So are you going to fight us Zero? I'm really thankful that you and the boss defeated him since he captured me earlier. Almost died so not willing to fight right now since I can't handle the cold.". "If you want to, I'm for it." said Zane, cracking his knuckles. "We're leaving and Zero. Next time, we'll be enemies remember that." said Thomas. The two were gone as Zane soon looked at the frozen Miasma.
Zane watched Miasma turn back into a human as he said to his team,"Thank the gods. He's wearing clothes. Didn't want to see a naked man today.". "So why did you let them go?" said Athena. "It's simple Athena. We need to get Cecil to jail before he reforms into Miasma. I'm sure that we'll be fighting him again and really soon given my luck." said Zane. He cut out a prison for Miasma with Zane deactivating the form as he left the sewer with Cecil.
Narrator P.O.V.
The firemen had arrived just after the police picked up and placed the unconscious Cecil in a personal truck. The firemen started to put out the fire being that nearby them, Hannah stood there and couldn't believe that the biggest pain in her life was gone due to a super villain. She was starting to see a new side of him that all of her friends had seen and grow to like. Hannah wanted to hurt the metahuman that killed him but she was stopped by Scott.
Scott said,"Hannah. There's no body so Zane could..". Hannah interrupted him with,"He was blown up Scott! He died just because of his damn stomach! I may hate his guts for stupid reasons but I didn't want him to die! What am I going to tell Kris and Roxy? They both like him for some strange reason plus David.". "So what did I miss?" said a voice. Zane stood there with him looking soaked. "I mean I just got soaked by an immense amount of water. So did I miss anything?" said Zane.
Hannah soon hugged him as she said,"You're alive!". She didn't let him go with Zane looking at Scott who shrugged. Hannah soon let him go as she said,"Wait a minute. You're alive?". "I left the store to find a decent sandwich. I mean that convenience store had decent sandwiches but honestly, I need a good one and stat." said Zane. "Seriously?! Then why are you wet?" said Hannah. "Because of what Zero did right? It's how he stopped those criminals." said Scott.
Zane said,"Yeah. It's pretty obvious but I'm just happy you're okay Hannah.". Hannah punched his right shoulder as she said,"Do you think it's funny to make me worry about you?!". "Nope. I just tend to do that and I'm actually kinda shocked that you care about me since I'm responsible for destroying the A-List and trying to break you and David up for my selfish desires. I've done a lot of things to you right Hannah?" said Zane.
Hannah nodded as she said,"I don't care about you Zane. You and I may never be friends but you're a good person. You made school actually fun so don't tell anyone about the hug or else Zit. Also if you don't mind...". Zane smirked as he said,"I won't Hannah and this time, let's put the phone and TV away okay?". Hannah walked off as Scott smiled. "So do you think you'll ever have a normal night kid?" said Scott. "Hopefully one day. I just have one issue left." said Zane.
Scott said,"Which is?". "I'm sure that things are going to get worse with the gang war about to happen within our city. It's a three way battle between the Gold Commander, Mastermind, and Reactor with us in the crossfire." said Zane. "Well, you got our support." said Scott as the two stood there. "Thanks so if something happens to me, you'll tell Karen right?" said Zane. "Yeah but don't worry. You'll be just fine." said Scott. "True but have to cover my bases." said Zane.
The next day at Cypress Park, Brad was staring at the trophy case and groaned. He had just watched Stan and Virgil argue about the championship trophy being that Stan wasn't listening to Virgil being that anyone who was watching the scene was shocked to the former drill sergeant throwing a temper tantrum that makes a toddler's look tame. "Why did this have to happen?" said Brad, crossing his arms as he tried to figure it out.
Brad heard,"It was a certain someone who got slapped by our loudest cheerleader.". He turned to see Zane standing there with Brad saying,"Seriously? Why did he do this?". "No idea. He isn't here at school today to face the music so we could go to his house and ask him why but I really don't want to do that." said Zane. "Yeah man. I bet ten bucks says that it's appalling and a truly big waste among the true achievements of the school." said Brad in a Cyrus like voice.
Zane smiled as he said,"So do you want to punch him when he gets back to school?". "Not really. It isn't worth it. He's like the rich in a way. If you piss them off, they'll only make things worst.". "I honestly nevery thought that you would say something like that Bradley." said a voice. Brad soon saw Leigh standing there with Zane saying,"Well, I have to get going. I've got an appointment and hopefully, the phone won't be part of it.".
Zane walked off as Leigh said,"So before you say anything, can I say something?". "Go ahead. If there is anything else, I learn from Zane in the past three months is that letting you talk and hearing you out will be a good thing in the long run." said Brad. "Last night, Austin told me a lot about you and Hannah talked to me about you this morning. You really changed in the past year thanks to both Zane and Zero didn't you?" said Leigh.
Brad smiled as he said,"I did. I get that I'm still a bully in your eyes and nothing is going to change that so I planned to leave you alone.". "Let me finish okay?" said Leigh. Brad was silent as Leigh said,"I heard about you defending Zero after Cyrus called him trash.". Brad nodded as Leigh said,"I know that violence is never the best action to take since it only creates more problems. I'm sure things are going to get worse for us but for now, lets get some coffee.". "Like a date?" said Brad.
Leigh giggled at Brad's enthusiasm as she said,"Yes but don't make this into a big deal. We're not dating yet.". "So we might huh?" said Brad. Leigh smiled as the two walked off. Zane watched from a distance as he said,"Well done Bradley. You won over the girl not with your muscles but your brain just like me.". "So I really hate to ruin the mood but you shouldn't miss your appointment/study session with Hannah. She hates you." said Sivarth. Zane nodded as he walked off.
Later at Collins Enterprise's main building, Andrew looked at the bars of gold that were obtained even though there was still some Miasma on the bars. He shook the slime off as he said,"So do you think we're ready for the clash against George and Reactor?". He turned to stand by Thomas with him saying,"We'll begin our clash on the most romantic day of the year. Zero will be there to stop us and well, it'll be a hard day.". "Yes and I won't be holding back on him." said Andrew.
Meanwhile at a penthouse apartment, Cyrus at on his bed. He was mad at everyone being that he was promised by his mother that he would get what he was promised but she wouldn't deliver to him due to her being busy. He soon removed the carpet in his room, revealing a wooden floorboard and then he removed part of it. There were five vials of liquid blue flame liquid. The teen soon took a sip of one of them as he didn't noticed Skull Plague's shadow behind him.
