Zero Episode 109 Meeting the Family (Full Post)

A/N: I should mention this here and now but this episode will be involving a certain character that I've been teasing a lot post timeskip aka Zero Episode 81 onward and his redemption from villain to hero. If you can't figure out who it is from that, the title should be the most obvious clue. This episode will be expanding on another character's family being that I wanted to do this for a while. Some ideas will be expanding such as Renee and the Velvet Spoon.

This is because Zane is going to make due on that job offer she made. Even though Zane is a superhero, he still needs something to do during the day that doesn't involve fighting bad guys left and right. The Odium Society is still there but they're making big plans and not at all trying to interfere with Zane's life every episode. I really should explain the massive delay between Zero Episode 108 and Fairy Legion Chapter 28.

The massive delay is because I went on vacation and school has started back up for me so I have little time when it comes to writing. There is also Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out around the time of writing this so this episode will be coming out much later than expected. There is also a but load of editing for this series. It's to make sure that I keep Zane as the most overpowered character in the history of my stories.

I think I'm doing a good job at that. I promise myself one day that I'll make a story with balanced characters and a deep world but that day ain't today. The main reason why I make Zane so damn overpowered is because I want to see what would make interesting powers for my serious story way later down the road. For the rest of this Author Note, I'll be explaining some stuff about last episode. Diamond Form and Diamond Prime evolved/changed thanks to the Zenith Core.

The only thing that will be changing is a few other forms being that I think only maybe ten overall will be upgraded. You'll see which forms is upgraded once I updates its card info in Fairy Legion mostly likely. That's my own hint on the matter being that I want to keep you in suspense because I'm quite sadistic in nature. The next thing I want to talk about is the fact that Phoenix, Tengu, and Vampires have appeared along with aliens.

Jordan is a Phoenix, Boyd and Felipe are Tengu, and the cross-dressing vampire is Leonardo but goes by Leo. Basalt is a alien being that his species name will be introduced later on. We'll be seeing more monsters and possibly aliens being that they'll appearing in Springs Gate. Remember that place? I mean I featured it in Zero Episode 30 and Zero Episode 35. It's one of many that I've introduced and never did anything with again.

It's for world building and also me forgetting about it being that I tend to forget things. It's like with Jasmine Rose being that she's still around and a friend of Zane. She was actually planned to be a member of Zane's harem before I changed my mind on the topic. Whenever I do make my official series, I'll be making sure to not ignore anything hopefully. Oh one more thing. I should say that Fairy Legion will returning and be expect long author notes.

This is because I have a lot to talk about it mainly involving One Piece and hopefully Edens Zero. I know that I really need to talk about the latter but man, I can go on a tirade about the former real easy mainly involving characters or how things look in the arc being that this latest arc has shown me that I tend to focus on little and random shit a lot. So while writing this episode, the Far Cry 5 LP finished on SGB.

I'm a big fan of the channel so I would highly recommend their channel. I'm going on a rant and like my rants in the past, I give you full permission to skip this one but this is something that I need to get off my chest. I should also make note that this play through is nothing against SGB at all but the game that they played. Lets start. I enjoyed their Far Cry LP because I didn't give a shit about the story or its characters. This is because I just enjoyed the wacky high jinks involving Rook.

My big problems with Far Cry 5 ,from someone who just watched the game rather than play it, is the characters and stories. The former problem is rather minor because of the schedules that the LP was released under being that it started as a Monday-Wednesday-Friday LP before becoming a weekend LP. This problem can easily be fixed by playing the game or watching the LP in full. My big problem is the story.

I'm not a political or religious person at all being that I just don't care. I like a good argument when both sides of the argument has something to say and can prove the other to thank about their point of view. I may love Fairy Tail ,flaws and all, but I can honestly and respect people who don't. I hate pure negative because I often asked,"Why review/watch something you hate when you could review/watch something you like?" and this applies to Far Cry 5.

Like I said before, I watched that LP because of the antics rather than the character and stories. I had a rather loud and totally uncalled for outburst when I saw the ending. Remember how I mention how I had a panic attack when I watched Infinity War for the first time? It's like that except my outburst comes from a certain thing I hate in fiction or just in general. I hate it when you do all of this work and then have it shit on.

This is one of the reason why I don't like Breath of the Wild despite never playing it. When I learned that the weapons you built and used break, I get annoyed. I really hate that feeling a lot. Fire Emblem does the same thing but I don't have a problem with it there since I play on easy mode. My point is that the ending of Far Cry 5 is fucking bullshit. Both options are a lose for the player and that is a really dumb thing.

I'm a simple guy being that I love a story where the bad guy is defeated at the end by the hero of the story. I don't mind when the bad guy wins in the end but that man bun wearing cult leader winning after all of the shit he's put you and the others through for a sequel game? Pardon my French here but fuck no. He gives me Jared Leto Joker vibe which is a bad sign if you didn't know and also, I dislike Manbuns. It is the worst male haircut in the world but I just hate it.

It's one of the reasons why I don't like Wano so far but my problems with Wano are very minor and don't ruin the story for me as a whole. You would know this if you read my One Piece rants. After I watched the LP and screamed my lungs out, I read the comments to the video. I agree with their points. If you were to watch this LP, don't watch it for the story. It's the same thing I do for Kingdom Hearts because while Kingdom Hearts's story is a mess, it is an enjoyable one.

Far Cry 5 on the other hand has one of the worst ending I've seen in a long time being that it pretty much shits on the player who spent god knows how many hours and it just makes me mad because I hate games or anything that makes you feel like everything you've down is for nothing but a sick joke to them. Sorry about that rant there but I just needed to get off my chest here and now because I haven't felt that opinionated about an ending in a long time. Lets begin and it's a long episode.

Narrator P.O.V.
It was a dark and slightly chilly ,being that it was actually pretty good for winter, night over in the nearby town of Whiskey Springs, Florida. Yeah, we're not in Cypress Park for right now. Cypress Park is about two hours away and this also applies even in rush hour traffic. The night sky had a full moon going on, brightening it up alongside the lights of the town. At this exact moment, a lone figure was leaping from the rooftops being that it was female. 

She ran to the edge of the roof and jumped off. She flew through the sky, using the air to guide her as she landed on the edge of a nearby roof. She preformed a handsprings which soon lead into a series of somersaults. She soon leap from that roof as well, performing a flip while heading toward the ground. Before hitting the ground, she grabbed the pole of a hanging flag that was attached to the building across from the one she fell from.

The female soon did a one-handed handstand and after a few more spins and letting go of the pole, she soon launched herself into the air. She soon pulled off a reverse tuck-and-roll, the girl landed on the third rooftop with her posing. Thanks to the moon light, her appearance could been seen in full being that she was wearing a costume. Her femininity is well shown being that her hourglass figure is very much there and curves are accentuated. She looked to be 5 foot 8.

She wears a purple horned domino mask, revealing her tan skin being that it covered the top half of her face. She has her white hair in a high ponytail. Her eyes are shown being that they are pink with white irises. She's wearing a black leather jacket with lightning bolt like accents over a dark gray skin tight shirt and pants with a pair of black skin tight/stealth gloves. Her shirt has yellow highlights being mainly focused on the neck, sleeves, and bottoms.

Her pants have matching colored highlights around the bottom of her pants. She's wearing black high heeled combat boots with snow white soles. She's wearing a dark purple belt with a snowflake like belt buckle. She's also wearing blackish white padding at the abdomen and lower back. "Okay. That was fun but I need to do something. At least, the city is safe." said the girl. The gods heard this being that they decided to give her something to do.   

A local jewelry shop ,called Jewel's World, was closed for night and was pitch black. There was soon a flash of light, lighting up the room just a bit. A trio of men ,wearing black ski-masks, were holding burlap sack filled with jewels that they didn't pay for. "We lucked out didn't we boys?" said the first guy with the two laughing in agreement. "You really shouldn't have said that." said a voice. The trio of thieves stopped in their tracks. They thought that they heard a voice belonging to her.

The first guy soon heard two grunts being that he turned around to see that his two partners in crime were frozen solid, with a shocked look on them. He looked in front of him again, with him getting a knuckle sandwich directly toward the nose. The man stumble back a bit and dropped the sack, freeing some of the jewels that he "bought". He soon regained his composure with him knowing clearly that it was Conjurer, Whiskey Spring's superhero or superheroine.

He soon pulled out his gun from his pocket and started to fire a round on the heroine. However, all of the bullets were stopped in their tracks by the air itself. The bullets fell to the ground as the man said with fear,"Dam it!". Before he could escape with the jewels he had, he was soon shocked by a bolt of electricity and this sent him flying into a wall. This also caused the nearby shelf to break and it fell on his head.

The hero ,still hiding in the shadows, nodded at her work with her turning into snow and leaving the building just as the police arrived. "Freeze! Hands in the air!" said an officer. "Um. I think two of them already did partner." said another officer. Two of the thieves were frozen solid and another one was knocked out, with parts of broken wood around him. "Yep. Conjurer was very much here." said the officer. The two soon began cleaning up the scene.

Above them, a black cloaked figure was sitting on a nearby rooftop. The figure was watching the fight with their legs crossed. The face was covered by a hood with their arms covered by longer than normal sleeves. It has a large gold zipper that fastens at the top and zips down to seal the coat. The figure comes with matching black pants and wearing black ankle length boots with a prominent heel to them. The figure soon jumped up from its spot and landed on the rooftop.

The figure said,"Well! This has been a lot of fun. Not!". Their voice was still masked, making the gender even more unknown. The figure sighed as it said while crossing its arms,"I still don't think that this heroine is part of the damn prophecy to begin with. I hope Pride didn't send me here for no good reason. Sloth could have come but no! Lets go already.". The figure was gone in a burst of lightning.

The next morning in Cypress Park. Zane was currently driving on the highway connecting Cypress Park and Whiskey Springs in his brand-new car. It's a sports car being that it looks like a mixture of a Challenger SRT Demon, Chrysler ME Four Twelve, Dodge Challenger, Ferrari, Nissan GT-R, and Plymouth Barracuda. Zane called this car Paragon. He got this car from Andrew as a gift for graduating early. Zane couldn't really say no to the man being that despite being a criminal, he was nice.

According to his partners, his kindness was a major weakness and Zane didn't deny that fact in the slightest. He had it modified being that it has all of the same powers of the Astral Tank aka his doom buggy. It can also turn into the Astral Tank. He was thankful for this being that he knew that this car was perfect for his future. He would not allow his children or their mothers to be in danger thanks to the Omniverse basically throwing him under the bus.

He was confident in his driving being that he learned how to drive a motorcycle in the middle of the worst race track possible thanks to the active volcano going on. It was straight out of a video game but along with his kindness, Zane was paranoid about the future. He wouldn't mention it to the girls now but he would like to have kids. He promised that he wouldn't mention or ask about kids until the girls are ready and have their dreams come true.

His car is a sleek steel gray color with two molten gold stripes going over it, forming an "Z" shape on the hood. The headlights are crimson red and on the left side, it has a ferocious, powerful dragon etched there. The chrome rims have a molten gold center. The license plate reads ZVA-01 being Zane Vincent Alvarez and his birth year being that he was born in 2001. He was currently heading down to Whiskey Springs to visit Kristen and her family for the weekend.

He was slightly nervous about the whole thing. Around the start of the year, Kristen and Sal had already left for Whiskey Springs to visit their family living there. Her family consisted of Kristen's parents Diego and Sofia Ortiz with Sofia being Sal's older twin sister, her aunt Nicole with her husband Lorenzo being overseas, her grandparents Bruno and Camilla, her cousins Bianca, Emilia, Luis, and Tanya, their dogs Anna, Hulk, and Korra, and her older brother Carlos.

He knew them thanks to him and Kris video calling each other being that like his family, Kris's family is quite noisy. He also knew about them thanks to Luke being Carlos's patrol officer. Carlos was actually out of jail thanks to good behavior in the prison being that he stopped several prisoners from escaping Thunder Cove last December. Kristen asked him to give Carlos a chance which Zane said he will but will be keeping a close eye on him.

Athena ,from the car's dashboard, said,"So let me get this straight. You'll accept the car from a crime boss but you won't forgive a person who is trying to redeem himself.". "Yeah. That kinda makes no sense." said Cole. "So are you going to tell Kristen about the Zion Brotherhood when you get there Zane? I mean she was your first serious girlfriend after all. You already told Rachel since she's your best ,female, friend." said Twilight.

Kane smiled as he said,"Yeah and she wasn't too happy about you lying to her, your family, and your harem. How did that slap feel by the way?". Zane rubbed his cheek with his left hand as he said,"Yeah. I mean it didn't really effect me too much but at least, she knows why I forgave Kevin and Malik.". "You really are too forgiving sometimes Zane but that's one of the reasons why we like you so much." said Sivarth.

Kane said,"True. I'm just thankful that the devil didn't go full on sadist mode. You know that most devils are known for being either a sadist, a liar, or a sadistic liar. Both you and Danny have told her about your guys past but why hasn't she?". "I'm kinda mad that you two sensed her without my permission. I know that she's lying to me but Rae is one of my best friends. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt here and hope that she'll tell me eventually." said Zane.    

This was going to be a long conversation between the team for a while. "So Zane, why are we going so slow?" said Twilight. "Because of something called a speed limit and since my girlfriend's dad is a police officer aka the captain, I rather not be arrested for speeding." said Zane. "That's actually a very good reason. So are you nervous about meeting Kris's family in person?" said Athena. "Yeah. They could hate you because you made Roxy's family hate you." said Cole.

He was slapped by Athena as Zane said while leaning back into his seat,"Kinda but I got faith that I won't mess this up too badly.". "I both hate and like how relaxed you can be sometimes." said Sivarth. "It comes at a cost Sivarth. I'm a paranoid fuck after all." said Zane. "You sure are. So are you going to tell them about your powers?" said Kane. "Luke hasn't told them about Kris's powers so I don't see a reason to tell her about mine." said Zane.  

Twilight sighed as she said,"Sometimes Zane. So are you going to become Zero at all this weekend or what?". "Hopefully, I don't Twilight but being a hero doesn't exactly come with vacation days. I'm just thankful that Allen, Danny, Gwen, Heidi, Kevin, and Rae can handle the crime in Cypress while I'm out of town." said Zane. "I get Allen, Danny, Gwen, Kevin, and Rachel but why Heidi of all people?" said Cole.

Zane soon saw that he was approaching the city as he said,"Because I'm trying to give Heidi some confidence and also to get Kevin to see that his dream girl is actually real.". "Can't you stop being cupid for one day?" said Athena. "Nah. It's too much fun plus the real challenge is trying to figure out a guy or girl for Rae. Her swinging both ways could be a problem but for me, it's a challenge to say the least. I'll figure her out eventually." said Zane.

As Zane drove into the city, his phone soon rang. "It's from Kris. Want to answer it?" said Athena. "I guess so." said Zane as Athena answered it. "Zaney! Are you in the city yet?" said Kristen. "Yep. It's a lot less busy compared to Cypress Park's traffic. So is your loving family ready for little old me and my unique personality?" said Zane. "I guess so. So are you going to be fine around my brother? He's really changed Zane." said Kristen.

Zane sighed as he said,"I believe you Kris but I'm paranoid. If he hurts you again, I'll make due on the promise I made him. I may get the ire of your parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle, and their kids but I'm a man of my word. It won't be the first time I've pissed off the parents of someone I've dated aka Roxy's lovely mom and dad.". "At least, you're going to try. I hope you can handle how crazy my family can be sometimes but you're used to crazy stuff by now right?" said Kristen.

Zane looked down at his watch as he said,"You know it Kris.". "It'll be only for two days and don't worry. I'll be coming back with you." said Kristen. "I wasn't worried about you leaving Cypress. I mean you're going to graduate with the rest of us." said Zane. "You know it Zane. So is Legion Zero going to be showing up at all?" said Kristen. "Like I told Twilight earlier, I'll only go hero if the situation gets real bad fast or you allow me too." said Zane.

Kristen sighed as she said,"That's fair but Conjurer is a pretty good hero according to Luis. He likes her because she can control the weather which is awesomeness and Bruno likes her because she's a real cute one.". "Yeah. I remember when your grandma pinched him for that. It's kinda nice to see normal grandparents for a chance." said Zane. "Didn't your grandparents cause a bad fire after Darin said something stupid?" said Kristen.

Zane nodded as he said,"They did yes but we made sure to make it look like an electrical fire plus Scott knows that my paternal grandpa isn't the brightest light bulb in the bunch.". "Yeah but he's a big sweetheart. He reminds me of Wolfram. So will he being joining you? Anna and Hulk may want to play with him." said Kristen. "He was but his mom told him no after he caused me to get him from the women's side of the hot springs." said Zane.

Kane said,"I'm not expert on women but I'm pretty sure that you're not supposed to tell your girlfriend about you entering the woman's bath.". "I guess so." said Kristen. "What's up Kris? I mean I can't see you but you sound sad and nervous." said Zane. "It's fine Zane. I'm just happy that you're meeting my family. They may drive me crazy but I couldn't live my life without them. You know what I mean?" said Kristen.

Zane smiled as he said,"I sure do. So I'm going to guess that you're doing your cute habit right now aren't you?". "What habit?" said Kristen. "You know the one I'm talking about. You run one of your fingers through your bangs when you're excited or nervous." said Zane. "I hate how perceptive you can be at times. So I was thinking that we could explore the city after Abuela's brunch. There is this amazing arcade in the city. We should go." said Kristen.

Zane smirked as he said,"Ms. Ortiz. Are you asking me out on a date?". "Maybe I am. I don't mind sharing you with the others but I like some private time with my number one hero." said Kristen. "I feel the same. To be honest, I'm kinda thankful for this vacation." said Zane. "And why is that? Are you in danger?" said Kristen. "Not exactly. There is this rumor going around Cypress Park and it's kinda weird." said Zane. "Mind telling me." said Kristen.

Zane said,"Sure. According to Scott's informants, there is this new gang here in Florida being that instead of the typical batch of thugs, it's knights and wizards.". "You do know that most boys our age don't really worry about that kind of stuff right?" said Kristen. "Yeah but being normal is so not cool anymore. I'll see you in a few. I think I see the shop." said Zane. "Later Zaney." said Kristen. Zane soon hanged up as he drove toward the Ortiz house.     

After a two hour drive, Zane soon parked in front of a building due to it looking like a normal two story house next to a convenience store. "Wow. Even after I did my recon of the place using Turbo Form, this place sticks out like a sore thumb." said Zane. It's primarily a white building with the roof being a black color and according to Kristen, it has a nice view of the stars which sounds perfect for a romantic date.

There is a chimney running up the right side of the house with a porch in front and the garage on the left. "Wow. This place looks..." said Athena. "Weird but cool." said Cole. "At least the convenience store looks good. I'm also digging the name." said Zane. The store's name is called the Guardian and as Zane parked the car, he soon felt the heat. Like Cypress Park, Whiskey Springs don't seem to have a winter being that it was rather hot.

He soon removed his jacket, leaving him in just his burnt orange t-shirt with a silver fiery spiral pattern to it. He spotted his girlfriend pacing around the front of the store and house with him having an awful idea. "Should we try and stop him from doing it?" said Twilight. "You can Twilight but I'm not." said Kane. The cheerleader was waiting for her boyfriend being that she was looking for his signature dune buggy and not the sports car.

She did wonder about who owned the sports car but she was more focused on Zane not messing things up with her family. She loved Zane but she would admit that Zane had a tendency to get in trouble mainly thanks to his mouth. While she was waiting, the cheerleader wiped some sweat off her head. "Hey chicketa. Are you looking for some company or what?" said a voice. Kristen narrowed her eyes and shifted her gaze to the owner of the voice. "Actually I am and he......" said Kristen.

She soon smiled as she saw Zane standing there with him holding a black and red duffle bag. She hugged him as she said,"When did you get here Zane?". "In the sports car and about five minutes ago." said Zane. "Since when have you owned a sports car?" said Kristen. "Since two days ago. I would have told you about it but I wanted to see your shocked expression." said Zane. "You're a jerk you know that." said Kristen. "Yeah but I'm a lovable one right?" said Zane.

The two kissed as inside of the shop, someone was watching them kiss. This is the owner of the shop Bruno Ortiz who is Kristen's maternal grandfather. He's an average height being that he was taller in his youth. Like the rest of his family, he's Hispanic so he has tan skin. He has black eyebrows and a thick, bushy gray mustache. He has gray hair being that he hasn't started to bald yet and brown eyes. He's wearing a beige colored shirt with a dark green jacket with sown-in patches on the elbow.

He's wearing black pants and brown sandals. His talent is picking up on other people's conversations mainly when it comes to his family or gossip. He was listening to them talking being that his eyes were glued on Zane. "Huh. He doesn't look like Luke but I remember him telling me that his little girl is adopted." said Bruno. He soon decided to figure it out with him walking outside of the store and having a casual smile on his face. "So this must be the novio." said Bruno.

Kristen soon jumped a bit as Zane smiled. "That's me alright." said Zane. "Grandpa! How long were you standing there? And why didn't you tell me that he was there Zane?" said Kristen. "Not too long nieta. I'm pretty good at staying silent and sneaking up on my enemies." said Bruno. "Okay. Did you finish putting up the decorations this morning? Grandma isn't going to be happy if you didn't." said Kristen. "I did or should I say that Carlos did. He's such a good boy." said Bruno.

Kristen rolled her eyes as she said,"Do you really think grandma is going to be okay with that?". "She likes your brother a lot and also I was helping customers. Plus that sign was a pain in the ass. My back isn't that good anymore." said Bruno. "I can understand that." said Zane. "See? Your boyfriend gets it." said Bruno. "He isn't my boyfriend!" said Kristen. "Really? Then why did you kiss him the way lovers do?" said Bruno.

Kristen blushed as Zane said,"That's because we aren't boyfriend and girlfriend Mr. Ortiz. We're lovers actually.". He was soon punched by Kristen as Bruno chuckled. "It seems that your mouth is quite the interesting sight to behold. So are you excited to spend the weekend with us?" said Bruno. "I sure am. You guys don't mind right? I could always stay in a nearby hotel." said Zane. "Don't say that Zane. You're quite welcome at the Ortiz house." said Bruno.

Bruno knew that his family didn't mind Zane staying since he made Kristen so happy and Luis always liked meeting new people. "Okay. So where is your brother Kris? I mean he's here right?" said Zane as he looked around. "He's in the store. Someone has to watch the store during brunch. Now then you pajaros del amor, come on." said Bruno, walking into the house. Zane grabbed Kristen's hands as the two followed him inside.

Inside of the house, the family was currently setting up for Zane's arrival. One of them was an elderly tall, thin Latin American woman with fair and tan skin. She has brown eyes and long black hair. It was rolled into a low braided bun with two gray streaks in her hair. She's wearing two gold hoop earrings in each earlobe. She's wearing a navy blue formal sleeveless gown. It has a frill like design on the dress's cleavage area and the long skirt of the dress. It was tucked into a white belt.

She's wearing black heels with a long brown apron on her waist. This is the matriarch of the Ortiz family Camilla Ortiz. She was well known for her cooking being that she cooks a lot and she tends to scold her husband and family using a mixture of her words and the infamous punishment tool aka the wooden spoon. Her hands were unavailable at the moment thanks to her carrying a crock pot. Three dogs soon ran through the hallway being that they knocked over the misaligned poster.

One is a large pudgy Mastiff and Pitbull Terrier being that she's covered in white fur with small reddish brown eyes. She has a light brown muzzle with a small black nose. She has black spots over her eyes with a yellow circle on her back. She's wearing a black collar with a silver dog tag being that the other two dogs also had a matching collar. Next to her was Anna aka the German Shepard and Hulk the Husky. 

Coming down the stairs is the eldest daughter of the family Bianca. She looks to be in her early 20s being 21 years old. She has a pear shape figure ,but she isn't overweight because she goes to the gym and if you call her fat, you'll be slapped, with noticeable eyelashes and brown eyes. She has her long brown hair in a pony tail. She's wearing golden circular earrings with red lipstick. She's wearing a light red dress with a white collar, black tights, and brown boots.

She's wearing pink bracelets on her wrists. She was currently looking around for someone as she shouted,"Emilia! Did you use my product again?!". As she shouted this, a young girl walked into the main hallway. She has her thick brown hair pulled back in a short high ponytail. She's missing one of her front teeth thanks to a certain soccer incident. She's wearing a navy blue and white jersey with a gold "E" on it.

She's wearing blue jeans with black cleats. Her jeans are covering her white knee-high socks. This is the middle child Emilia being that she loves to play sports. "Sorry about that sis but I need to borrow your product for a prank me and the guys are doing." said Emilia. The older sister rolled her eyes with her picking up Emilia. "Um. What are you doing sis?" said Emilia. "Giving you the famous Ortiz noogie." said Bianca, with her doing just that. "Hey stop it!" said Emilia. "Nah." said Bianca.

The two stopped by a sudden camera flash being that it belonged to their mother Nicole Ortiz who is the eldest of her three siblings. She's a tall woman with tan skin. She has black hair and brown eyes. She's wearing two sets of pearl earrings in her earlobes. She's wearing a orange beaded necklace with an star shaped gem. She's wearing a orange dress ,with a blue and white star like pattern at the top of the dress, and white flats.  "I'm so happy to see you two playing with each other." said Nicole.

She walked off as Bianca put Emilia down with the two of them fixing their hair before walking into the rooms opposite of each other and glaring at each other. A boy soon jumped into the hallway being that he's the youngest member of the family living there. His name is Luis and he's seven years old with him loving superheroes mainly Legion Zero. He has a slightly overweight figure with scruffy black hair and brown eyes.

He's wearing a green shirt with dark bluish gray jeans. He's wearing blue shoes with white socks and red laces. He has a short black cape. He currently had a big smile on his face being that thanks to his very vivid and active imagination, he was acting as his favorite superhero. "Turbo!" said Luis with him mimicking a certain hero's flying transformation. He soon began making whooshing noise and pretended to fly around the hallway.

A man's voice said,"Just be careful where you're going Luis.". He was actually standing there in the hallway the whole time being lost in the world of literature. This man has black hair with loose bangs, brown eyes, and a goatee. He's wearing black glasses with a square frame and a straw hat. He's wearing a torn-up indigo vest over a light blue long sleeved shirt and red necktie. He's wearing black and white pinstriped pants.

He's wearing brown dress shoes and a gold tooth in his frontal teeth being that he got it from his college days. This is Diego Ortiz, Carlos and Kristen's father. Bianca ,who was walking into the hallway with some folded clothes, said,"So have you been here the whole time uncle? And it's the weekend so professor mode goes off.". "Yep. I'm just excited to see my daughter coming home and reading helps me relax." said Diego.

Sal walked into the hallway as he said,"Yeah and because of that, you didn't get stuck helping dad with the poster.". "True but it looks nice even though it needs to be altered by a few degrees.". Sal grumbled as Camilla, Nicole, and her older daughter came into the hallway and carrying food. The other daughter is Diego's wife meaning that she's Kristen and Carlos's mother plus the older twin to Sal aka Sofia Ortiz.

She works at the local hospital as a nurse being one of their best. She's a tall woman with a round figure being that Kristen gets a lot of her curves from her mother. She has a dark tan compared to the rest of her family's lighter tan. This is due to her spending a lot of time working on the beach during high school and college. She did this into her adult years because medical school cost a lot. She has long black hair with it tied up in a bun with a dark pink ribbon and brown eyes.

She's wearing a short sleeve blue sweater with a white long-sleeved shirt. She's wearing blue jeans with brown flats. She also has gold earrings. "Mind helping up set up the table?" said Camilla, with Diego nodding. He put his book down and grabbed one of the plate from his wife and sister in law's arms before going into the kitchen with the matriarch. Nicole and Sofia were looking at the poster with Nicole saying,"I think the poster needs to be a bit higher brother.".

Sofia shook her head as she said,"No. It needs to be lower.". "And why am I doing this again? This was dad's job." said Sal. "Because dad was busy with the store." said Sofia. "And you have done nothing at all since you got here." said Nicole. "I helped out in the shop." said Sal. Before Sal could say anything else, he was stopped by his niece coming into the hallway. "Kris! We have to get you ready for Zane arriving." said Bianca.

Nicole said,"I think she's waiting outside for Zane.". "How sweet. My little girl has found her prince charming." said Sofia. Luis walked out into the hallway and he smiled. "Zane is finally here!" said Luis with the entire family ,except for Emilia and Tanya, going into the hallway to see that the trio of Bruno, Kristen, and Zane standing there. "I guess your family is more absentminded than mine which is saying a lot." said Zane. "Speaking the truth there." said Sivarth, earning a glare from Zane.

Luis soon wasted no time running toward them and jumped into Zane's arms. Luis smiled as he hugged Zane. "It's nice to finally meet you Zane! My name is Super Luis!" said Luis. "It's nice to meet you Super Luis." said Zane, putting Luis on the ground. The rest of the family grouped around the trio with Camilla saying,"Welcome to our home Zane. I hope you're ready for a fun weekend with the Ortiz family.". She soon hugged Zane tightly.

Kristen knew that Zane didn't feel her grandma's vice grip like hugs. "I hope so too Mrs. Ortiz." said Zane. "Nino. You don't have to call me that. After all, you'll be part of our family in no time if you and Kris's relationship keeps going strong. Just call me grandma." said Camilla. Kristen blushed as she said,"Grandma! You said that you weren't going to do stuff like this in front of him.". "Nah. I kinda lied about that." said Camilla. "I think that I'm going to like her." said Athena.

Zane was going to head into the living room with the rest of the Ortiz family before he was stopped by Bruno. "Before we eat, lets put your bag in your room." said Bruno. "Um sure. So where am I staying?" said Zane. The two were soon in front of a hall closet on the second floor as Bruno said,"I know that it isn't the best but we did clean it up before your arrival.". "It's cool. I've actually slept in a hut before so this is much better." said Zane, shrugging.

In a few meetings, the Ortiz family ,except for Emilia, and Zane were getting things ready being that Zane was getting food from the main table. "I wasn't sure if you had any food before leaving Cypress Park plus Kris told me about your massive stomach so eat to your hearts extend." said Camilla. "She will regret saying that." said Sivarth as Zane piled the plate high and his mouth watered a bit before he started to eat.

He soon began eating with the family watching the rather skinny looking boy eat like he's never eaten a good meal in his life. "I told you that he's a real shock when he's eating." said Kristen. "Yeah but he's making pigs eat look clean." said Bianca. Crisis Judgement went off as he placed the pile of food on the table just before being tackled by Anna and Hulk with Korra standing nearby. "Hey you two! I missed you guys." said Zane with the dogs licking his faces.

Kristen smiled as she said,"Should I be jealous of your ability to attract dogs?". "If you were, I would say that you're real petty which you're not." said Zane. Before he could get back up, Korra soon began licking his face. "Huh. I guess Korra finds him friendly." said Diego. "Yeah. I've never seen her be so friendly with guests before." said Sofia. "Zane has a tendency to make friends with most people except for jocks of course." said Sal. "Just like you Sal." said Sofia. 

Just then, Emilia walked into the living room as she said,"Hey grandpa. Whose stuff is in the guest closet?". She noticed Zane ,who was able to get back to eating finally, being that she blushed. She heard about her cousin's boyfriend being a very attractive guy but he was on another level. She soon sneaked her way over to Zane being that she was about to punch him. This is how Emilia greats people but unlike most people, they don't have Crisis Judgement.

Zane caught the fist with some of the food falling onto the ground and the dogs eating it. "You caught my punch?" said Emilia. "Yep. It's nice to meet you Emilia." said Zane with his smile. "Yeah. So has grandpa shown you the shop yet?" said Emilia. Kristen noticed that her tomboy like cousin was acting real maiden like around Zane being that Kristen didn't want to be jealous of her cousin but she was going to keep an eye on her.

A bit later, Bruno decided or forced to show Zane the store that had been in the family for at least three generations. "You're going to love the shop Zane." said Bruno with a big smile. "Yeah and the ice pops are to die for." said Kristen. She was going to join them being she was going to with her dad Diego, Emilia, Korra, Luis, and Sal. Before they could get any father, Bianca grabbed Kristen's arm and dragged her away much to her dismay. "Hey! What are you doing?" said Kristen. 

Zane ,with his enhanced hearing, overheard,"Kristen. I know that you noticed my sister acting cute in front of your boyfriend. Lets get him to only notice you.". "Cos! I don't want him to hear you!" said Kristen with a blush. "Don't worry so much. I mean our family is pretty loud." said Bianca. Zane shook his head as he thought,"Family can be kinda weird but at the same time, they're caring and she doesn't know about my hearing.".

The two girls were soon gone as Zane was about to open the door. He was quickly stopped by Bruno who pushed Zane away and forced the door close. "Um. So what's going on?" said Zane. "It's kinda one of my dad's superstitions so hear him out." said Emilia. "It isn't a superstition for once Emilia. I know that you and my grandson have some history together." said Bruno. "We do but I'm here to hopefully make amends and not sock him for making Kris cry." said Zane.

Luis tilted his head as Diego said,"I'll explain what that means when you're older. Like my father told you hopefully, Carlos is out on deliver. If I'm right, he should be in the ice cooler. He hates wearing that identity masker but he sticks out.". "But he's a superhero!" said Luis. "He is but most people have trouble accepting differences little buddy." said Zane. "So can we get going?" said Emilia. "Sure. Lets go!' said Bruno with Zane following the family to the store.

Kane said,"So you sensed that energy too right?". "Yeah. It's Animus no doubt being that it felt like the weather. I mean it's hot now but that energy felt cold." said Zane. "We'll do some investigating later being that for now, lets enjoy the trip. We're on break." said Sivarth. Zane nodded as he entered the store. Back in the house, Bianca and Kristen were in Bianca's room being that she didn't share it with Emilia much to their joy.

Kristen was staying there during her visit being that she switched out her jacket with her pink tunic top thanks to the heat here in Whiskey Springs. She's also not wearing her earmuffs. She began looking through her closet for outfits with the elder female smiling. "So is Tanya still at work? I want her to meet Zane." said Kristen. "Yeah but you know how busy she can be with work and on the track." said Bianca. "I know that but for some reason, she's acting real suspicious." thought Kristen.

She was thinking about asking Zane about it through text but before that could happen, Bianca soon held an outfit in front of her younger cousin. It was a black 3/4 length sleeve short dress with a purple belt around it and a red circle in the middle. It comes with red tights and purple high top sneakers with red laces. "Like it? I think it's both casual and sexy and just you. I think it needs some circular earrings and lipstick." said Bianca. "It sure is." said Kristen.

She soon began looking around her cousin's room with her soon noticing a picture on her floor mirror as it had a lot of lip stick marks on it. "Hey. What's this cos?" said Kristen, pointing to the photo. The older woman raised a brow at first and turned to where Kristen was pointing at it. Upon figuring it out, Bianca blushed and gave a shy smile. "It's just a picture of that dreamy hero from Cypress Park and you've been saved by him. So jealous." said Bianca.

Upon hearing this, Kristen raised an eyebrow. Bianca soon handed the picture to Kristen. It was her boyfriend as Legion Zero fighting against Rampage in Brawn Form. The photo was taken sometime last year. The photo had multiple red lipstick marks very much, implying Bianca was kissing it a bit too much. "Oh. I wish that I could get with him but he must have a girlfriend." said Bianca with a longing sigh. "Yeah. He does and if he gets with either cousin, I'll hurt him." thought Kristen.

A bit later, Bianca and Kristen were wearing matching outfits. This consisted of a black blouse with molten gold streaks, a black cap with molten gold highlights around the bottom of the cap, and black boots with golden stones. "Like it? I based it off his eyes and it just goes so well with black. I think Zaney is going to like it." said Bianca. Kristen soon looked uncomfortable as she said,"This isn't really me and don't call him Zaney. Only his girlfriend can call him that.".

As she said this, Kristen thought,"But would Zane like it?". The girl was soon blasted by a perfume bottle with the cheerleader getting completely covered in a purple cloud of perfume. Kristen soon began coughing. "I really like when you come to visit cos. This is so much fun right?" said Bianca as she sprayed herself with the perfume. "Yeah but I like Cypress Park a lot." said Kristen. "Because of Zaney right?" said Bianca with her nudging her cousin.

Kristen nodded as she said,"Yeah but don't call him that. That's my nickname for him.". Before Kristen could change out of the outfit, she soon got her picture taken by Nicole with Sofia smiling at the scene. "Yep. Zane is really going to enjoy this right sis?" said Sofia. "Yeah. Oh, I should mention that Jana called. She and the gang are up to hang out." said Nicole. Kristen got off her embarrassment as she said,"Um. Why did they call the house instead of my cell?".

Sofia shrugged as she said,"No clue but you should introduce them to Zane. He's a good kid being that he got Carlos to get his act together.". "All of you could get along so well." said Nicole. "They'll do mom but first, you mentioned that it takes a lot to get Zane to blush right?" said Bianca. Kristen nodded as Bianca said,"Time to make him blush.". Kristen knew that it would take a long time for this to happen but who knows what could happen when Bianca gets serious.

In the shop, Luis was currently hanging onto the door opening and closing it, causing the bell to constantly ring. "Hey Zane! We got a new bell! It's awesomeness!" said Luis. "Okay little guy but lets try not to wear it out. It's also hurting my ears. They're pretty sensitive." said Zane, with him behind the counter with Bruno. "Yeah. It cost me ten dollars to get a new one." said Bruno. "How frugal can a person be?" said Sivarth.

Luis looked down as he said,"Sorry.". "It's fine buddy. Just don't do it again and we can be good okay buddy?" said Zane, tussling his head. Luis nodded as he smiled being that he went to go play. "You're really good with Luis Zane." said Diego, leaning on the counter nearby them. "Well, it isn't that hard when you have two hyperactive younger siblings. They may be annoying to others but to me, they are just the coolest people." said Zane.

Bruno nodded as he said,"I guess Kris was right about you being different from other guys. I guess Diego doesn't have to be the overprotective papa. I wasn't that with Diego or Lorenzo being that my esposa was.". "So did you make this place look clean just to impress Zane or what dad? I mean in the forty years that I've been your son, the shop has never looked so nice." said Sal. "Probably Uncle Sal but it could be Carlos working overtime." said Emilia.

Luis flew by as he said,"This place is infected by a dust monster but Carlos burns it away with his fire of justice!". "He's in the dairy cooler right now. It's the only way to get him to cool down if you know what I mean." said Bruno. Zane nodded as he said,"But your shop is missing something. You should put the milk in the back of the store.". Bruno looked at Zane as he said,"Other people would have to buy things on their way out. It's called impulse buying. I learned it from Andrew.".

Bruno's eyes quickly widen as he saw the potential to get more money for the customers. "You're a genius Zane!" said Bruno, giving his granddaughter's boyfriend a half hug. "Yeah. He really is. I mean he's the top ranking student in Kris's class. So am I good to go grandpa?" said a voice. Zane looked up to see Carlos standing there. He has a lean and muscular figure. Unlike the rest of his family, his skin is gold but a darker gold.

This is due to him having tan skin before he gained super powers from Volcanis and had it upgraded thanks to the Odium Society. His hair is still a living breathing fire ,with it being an orange, red, and yellow color, and it looks to cover his ears with a flame like tuft combined upward. He has a beard and mustache combo that's on fire. He's wearing a red t-shirt with a beige unbuttoned shirt over his t-shirt.

He's wearing blue jeans with a black and white belt, and red boots with multiple white stripes. He's wearing silver bracelets around his wrists along with a black collar ,with two spikes on the sides, around his neck with glowing magma like lines. His eyes were glowing orange instead of being brown or red He noticed Zane as he said,"Hey man. So are you going to hit me or what?". "Nah. You haven't made Kris cry so you're doing good. So how are you dealing with those two?" said Zane.

Carlos sighed as he said,"Honestly, I don't know how your uncle deals with those two. I mean they fight like cats and dogs.". "Carlos helps Luke fight bad guys right?!" said Luis. Carlos tussled his cousin's hair as he said,"I sure do but you don't need powers to kick but right?". Luis nodded as Diego said,"So how did the deliver go? Abuela has leftovers.". "Which is a surprise given this guy's black hole stomach." said Bruno, patting Zane on the back.

Carlos sighed as he said,"Honestly dad, it went pretty good. I really hate wearing that dam identity masker. It cause me so much pain.". "Yeah. According to grandpa, they are still working on the tech so sorry for making you the guinea pig." said Zane. "It's not so bad. So need me to do anything before I leave?' said Carlos. "Yes. Mind moving the milk to the back?" said Bruno. Carlos raised an eyebrow as Sal said,"I'll help you out and explain it to you.".

After doing that, Emilia, Luis, and Zane were walking around the store and Bruno went behind the counter to count the money. Carlos was in the back being that he was really good at handing the cold items. The store bell ring soon rang as the oldest Ortiz soon saw the people getting in. Zane heard the bell and saw who came in. "Luis. Do you mind getting your cousin for me? I need to ask him about something very important." said Zane. "Okay!" said Luis.

He ran off as Emilia said,"I'll go with him. Just in case.". "Yeah. That's a good idea." said Zane, as he watched the door with him getting ready to fight. In the front of the store, there were three guys being that they screamed try-hard gangster.  All of them were wearing sunglasses, black leather jackets with the sleeves clearly ripped off and all of them are wearing white t-shirts underneath. They're also wearing blue leather jeans with silver chains hanging off them.

The guy to the right had a gold chain around his neck and a scar that goes over his left eye. "Well, it's time to pay up old man." said the gold chain while chewing some tobacco in his mouth. Bruno soon crossed his arms as he said,"What do you and your boys want this time Brett? I thought that I told you never to come back here. You remember my nephew right?". Two of the gangsters shivered with Brett laughing.

Brett said,"This guy is a joke. Do you honestly think that you can tell us what to do?". He soon slamming his hands down on the counter. Zane soon looked around to see that no one was paying attention to him as he soon turned into Camouflage Form and disappeared from sight. "Listen. Unless you want me to call the cops, I suggest you...." said Bruno as Brett soon pulled a gun on him. "Think about what you're going to say." said Brett.

Bruno frowned at the boy and held his hands up in the air. Brett smiled as he said,"Okay then. Here's what you're going.....". He was soon punched hard in the gun, causing him to drop his gun. Everyone looked confused as they watched Brett struggle to get back up but was then slapped in the face and he was sent into a display of flour. "Hey Brett. Are you okay man?" said a gang member. "I don't know you....." said Brett.

He soon felt something go around his waist and then he was thrown right out of the store and out of the door. "Get out of here you damn punk." said a voice. Everyone was shocked by this as Zane ,in Camouflage Form, and looking right at the unconscious Brett. The gang members soon backed up in fear as Zane turned his head completely around ,like an owl, and said,"Do you want me to repeat myself?". "No sir!" said the two gangsters.

They ran out of the store with them carrying Brett away. A brief silence filled the store before both Bruno and Zane heard,"So awesomeness!". Zane turned to see Luis right in front of him and the seven year old said,"You made those guys look stupid!". Luis hugged Zane with him saying,"Thanks I try.". Bruno didn't say anything with Carlos and Emilia running toward them. "There you are. Are you okay Luis?" said Emilia, hugging her little brother.

Luis nodded as Carlos said,"Thanks Zero. So you've heard about me being redeemed right?". "Yep. I think you're doing a good job Cinder. Just don't mess up again." said Zane. "I won't but before you leave, I think my primo wants a autograph." said Carlos. Zane turned to see Luis holding a piece of poster paper as Zane said,"Sure.". Luis smiled as his hero signed it before leaving the store as Zero and then returning as Zane with no one knowing him leaving.

A bit later, Zane was handing two large bags of groceries to a customer who had fallen victim to the horrors of impulse buying. "I only came here for milk. My wife is going to kill me for this." said the customer as he left the shop. "Well done Zane. You're a genius when it comes to this stuff." said Bruno as he hugged Zane. "Thanks. I mean my dream job involves business so this is good practice for me." said Zane.

The two were the only two in the store right now being that Carlos, Diego, Emilia, Luis, and Sal went back to the house. "So Zane, do you mind if I talk with you?" said Bruno. "I don't mind at all." said Zane. "Ten bucks says that he's going to grill you about you dating Kristen." said Cole. "Perhaps but lets wait and see." said Zane. Zane soon watched Bruno poking his head outside to make sure that the coast was clear of his family.

Once his investigation was over, he turned the sign to close and closed all the curtains to the windows keeping anyone from looking. "Okay. I think Kris's grandpa is loco." said Cole. "For once, I'm not going to hit you." said Athena. "So what's up?" said Zane. It was the start of the afternoon being that from what Kristen told him, Bruno didn't seem like the type of guy to ignore a sale. Bruno ignored him and kept closing off the shop, making sure no one could peep in and spy on them.

Once everything was done, Bruno soon walked behind the counter in front of Zane. "I want to ask you something Zane." said Bruno. "I see. So what's up?" said Zane with him showing no sign of fear in his voice. "You are my nieto's patrol officer's grandson right?" said Bruno. "I sure am. He's not my biological grandfather because my biological grandfather was gone from my mom's life until very recently. It is a long story." said Zane. 

Bruno looked at Zane with him saying,"One of your grandfathers is Darin Alvarez right?". "Yeah. He is and I'm sorry for whatever he did to you." said Zane. Bruno soon laughed and grabbed Zane by his shoulders. "Don't worry about that Zane! Darin may have a tendency to destroy things but he's a good guy!" said Bruno with him smiling. "Yeah. So how do you know him?" said Zane. "We're old pals being that we were partners before I decided to retire." said Bruno.

Zane nodded as he said,"So you were part of the Alliance? It explains how Carlos got my grandfather as a patrol officer.". "Yes. I was one of the best. I had to retire for my kids's sake." said Bruno, with him thinking about the good old days. "I see. So I'm guessing that Carlos and your wife knows about your past job right?" said Zane. "Yes. I know that Kris has super powers but I don't blame you for that. She seems happy so that's all I need." said Bruno. "And I'll keep doing that." said Zane.

Bruno smiled as Zane said,"So have you heard anything about any knights and wizards?". "No. Why do you ask" said Bruno with him looking serious. "It's nothing important but there are rumors about a gang of them here in Florida. I've been wanting to investigate but crime never seems to sleep in town and getting days off is so hard." said Zane. "Yeah but that can wait. Time to go watch the news about Legion Zero's latest exploit. He's a really cool hero." said Bruno.

Zane smirked as he said,"Let me guess. You haven't told anyone about that either.". "I would have but Luke told me not to. He wants to keep your secret identity on the down low." said Bruno. The man soon reopened the store as he said,"I know that you really want to spend time with Kris since you're together but trust me, spending time with your girlfriend's family is a good thing.". "Don't worry. I care a lot for family." said Zane.   

A bit later, Kristen ,who was back in her normal outfit, and Zane were checking out Luis's room before the two goes out to see the city with Carlos and Emilia since Bianca had her show to watch and it was important to watch it live. "I still don't get why you want to see this darn city so much Zaney. You live in one plus it's just like back home." said Kristen. "Yeah but I want to meet the friends of my girlfriend that she didn't tell me about." said Zane.

Before Kristen could say anything to him, Luis said,"Here is my room!". It was painted green on the walls and ceiling with a dark red carpet. There were posters for things like superheroes all over the walls and various bins around the room, containing some of Luis's favorite toys. "Rocking room man." said Zane. "Thanks. I did it myself." said Luis, closing the door. Zane looked around the room with him seeing the posters on the wall.

It was mainly superheroes being that he saw Keith Ramsey, Warrior, etc being that he saw that the poster at the far end of the room, Zane smiled. "Hey buddy. What's this poster of?" said Zane. It only had LZ. "It's my Legion Zero Poster signed by Legion Zero himself! He was in the shop today!" said Luis. "He's his favorite hero Zane and what do you mean by that Luis?" said Kristen. "He's mine too Luis." said Zane with Luis smiling wider.

Luis smiled as he said,"That's so cool! So have you been saved by him like Kris was?". He sat on the bed with his cousin and her boyfriend. "Not yeah but I've seen him fighting the bad guys a bunch of times." said Zane. "Do you want to see my Halloween costume? It's real cool." said Luis as he got off the bed. "Sure." said Zane. He soon watched Luis opened up one of the bins as Kristen whispered to Zane,"He really wanted to meet you Zane. You're real cool to him. So you went hero earlier.".

Zane whispered back,"It's because of the scars isn't it? Yeah. Bruno was in danger.". "That's fine but try not to let anyone see you." whispered Kristen, punching him. "Tada!" said Kristen. The boy was soon wearing a gray bike helmet with sky blue stripes and a black jumpsuit with a very old vacuum cleaner strapped to his back. "Rocking costume." said Zane. "Thanks. Grandma says that with me on the job, no bad guys can get into our house!" said Luis, holding onto the hose.

Zane looked around the room as he said,"So does Carlos sleep with you?". "Yep! He's really cool even when he's snoring. Do you want to stay with me?" said Luis. "Sorry little guy but I get up super early to do my workout so I don't want to wake you up. Heroes need their sleep after all. I'll play with you whenever I'm not busy with work." said Zane. "Really? I bet we could play games and watching TV all night!" said Luis. "I would like that." said Zane as Kristen smiled at the scene.

A bit later, the group of Carlos whose appearance looked normal being that he had normal brown hair and brown eyes plus a tan skin thanks to the identity masker, Emilia, Kristen, and Zane were walking through the city. "And here's a building and another building. And look, an even taller building. Great city am I right Zane?" said Kristen as she held Zane's hand. "I guess so. It's smaller than Cypress but I like small." said Zane. "I feel the same way." said Carlos.

Emilia said,"So Zane, Kris tells me that you're a skater right?". "So does that mean the guitar or board because I can do both." said Zane. Carlos sighed as he said,"What can you not do? I mean Kris says that you can do pretty much everything.". "Thinking before speaking." said Kristen, getting a chuckle and giggle from Carlos and Emilia respectively. "Ha ha. You're so funny Kris. So does this place have a skate park?" said Zane, rolling his eyes.

Emilia said,"Of course it does. You're going to see a pro shredder at her best.". "Yeah. I don't think that you but it's nice to have dreams." said Carlos. "Don't worry about me getting injured cos because the skate park has some sick equipment there for all sizes." said Emilia. "Didn't stop you from getting hurt by crashing into a tree." said Kristen. "No sis. I think her crashing into a fire hydrant was funnier since she got soaked." said Carlos.

Zane chuckled as Emilia blushed. "You guys! Don't embarrass me in front of Zane!" said Emilia who looked at Zane. "Don't worry so much. It'll take a lot more than your cousin's embarrassing you to get me to hate you. So does your sister like Legion Zero? Luis is a fan." said Zane. "Yeah. Mainly when he goes to that hunk form of his. I'm a fan of Slime Form myself and Luis like you said is a fan of all of them." said Emilia.

Zane looked at Kristen who said,"Don't do anything to either of them got it?" with Zane nodding his head. Carlos looked at Zane with him saying,"So why do you ask?". "I was just curious." said Zane with him putting his hands behind his head. "And we see the picture of you being kissed earlier." said Twilight. "Yeah. It was kinda weird." said Cole. The group of four soon reached the skate park with them seeing that many kids that were already there.

They were either on their skateboards, roller skates, or bikes doing tricks and just having a good time enjoying the warm winter which is ironic. Emilia soon opened up the duffle bag that she brought from her house. "Okay Zane. Time to show you how we shred in Whiskey Springs." said Emilia. "I just watch because I rather not go gold." said Carlos. Kristen nodded as she said with her getting in a cheerleader pose,"Go get them Zaney!".

Zane smiled as he said,"You hear my girlfriend Emilia.". He was soon going through the bag and began gearing up. He was wearing knee and shoulder pads with Kane saying,"Do you really need them?". "Hey Emilia. None of the helmets in here fit me." said Zane. "Huh. There must be someone with a spare around here." said Emilia. "Hey. Is that who I think it is?" said a voice. "Yeah. I've never met anyone with that kind of hair and Kris is nearby him." said a voice.

Zane soon heard,"Hey Kris!". Zane soon turned to see three teens walking toward them with two of them wearing protective gear and having skateboards with the third teen looking straight from the library rather than the skateboard. Two of them were girls and one was a boy. One of the girls is tall and slim. She's Caucasian with long blond hair that covers part of her left eye and the rest of it styled in a small ponytail.

She's wearing a long-sleeved sky blue off-shoulder shirt with a hoodie and it has gold and white vertical stripes. She's wearing dark blue capri skinny jeans with brown leather high tops. She has red and white earrings with black bracelets. By her side, she has a light green skateboard. This is Jana Olson. The boy is Ralph Olson, Jana's step brother. He's a dark-skinned boy with freckles and curly brown hair with dark green eyes.

He's wearing a black and white checked backwards cap. He's wearing a white button up shirt with it under a gold hoodie. He's wearing gray jeans and white high tops with red laces. He rides around on a blue skateboard. The final girl is a young Puerto Rican however she doesn’t have the accent like she or the rest of Kristen's family does. She’s slightly taller than normal being 5 foot 8 with a well-endowed figure.

She also has a fit and trim athletic figure. She has long black hair which she usually has tied with a black and white ribbon that was given to her by her mother for her ninth birthday. Part of her bangs usually cover one of her eyes. She has dark blue eyes. She wears red lipstick. Her casual outfit is a black turtleneck sweater with horizontal, gold stripes. She wears this with gray skinny jeans that shows off her curves and has two white stripes.

She wears black slip on flats with two white socks. She wears this with silver earrings. She also had a pink backpack for some reason. This is Tanya Ortiz by the way. "Hey you guys. What's up?" said Kristen. "Nothing much. So this is the legendary Zane." said Jana. She looked him over as Zane said with his hands behind his head,"So are you examining me for ticks or what?". "Jana is making sure that you are a good boyfriend for Kris. Nice to meet you by the way. The name is Ralph." said Ralph.

The two guys soon shook hands as Zane said,"So how do you two know Kris?". "We're in the same class as Tanya here so we got to know her and her extended family." said Ralph. "So Zane, what do you find so appealing about our friend Kris?" said Jana. "It wasn't her rocking body if you're thinking that miss. I think I got interested in her after seeing her trying to be someone she's not. She was trying to be a typical A-list Cheerleader but in all reality, she was a beautiful nerd." said Zane.

Zane turned to Kristen who was blushing hard at their first date even though it wasn't a date. "She's real cute you know that right?" said Sivarth. "That's what I called you back at the zoo right Kris? I mean it was pretty cute seeing that family of felines." said Zane. Jana soon smiled as she said,"Okay Zane was it? You've earned my approval. So have you met the family?". "He had and we like him too but not on the same level as sis here." said Carlos, earning a punch in the arm from his sister.

Ralph said,"So are you here to shred man?". "I was but I don't have a helmet. I could go without a helmet since I've been called hardheaded before." said Zane. "Yeah and even though we tell you not to do something, you do it and cause me and the rest of our friends stress." said Kristen. The two soon began their usual flirting/talking with Jana saying,"So have they do a lot?". "Yeah." said Carlos with a annoyed groan. "Here." said Tanya. She soon pulled out a helmet from her bag.

It's a black bike helmet with her saying,"From my calculations, this should fit your helmet just fine so good luck out there Zane.". "Yeah. I think I'll be just fine but thanks for worrying. Thanks for the helmet. It fits me pretty good. So are you already to go?" said Zane. "Yeah. Watch and learn from the master herself." said Emilia, getting close toward one of the numerous bowls in the park. From the top of a nearby building, two people were watching them closely.

The figures were eyeing Tanya specifically. One of the figure was the black cloaked figure from the previous night being that thanks to the black cloak, the gender was still unknown. The other figure is male. He's a tall and thin looking man with pale chalky-white skin. He has pure green eyes with black pupils. He has long shoulder length black hair. His face is quite long and thin looking with his chin jutting out abruptly and an abnormally long pointed nose.

He has pointed elf like ears with long and thin fingers. He wears a black toga like robe ,which reaches the ground, with bell like sleeves. He wears a gray under shirt with the sleeves reaching his wrists and rather close-fitting. He wears blue jeans. His robe is held up by a small white skull pin on both shoulders. It's also connected a long, billowing black cape with a golden interior. He's wearing brown sandals. The end of his robe is covered by black smoke.

He's carrying a golden trident like scepter with claw like fingers holding a red crystal ball. "So was this worth coming here huh Augur?". said the black cloak figure. The figure soon nudged the wizard like figure with the man growling. "You better have not waste my time. Why does that female have the powers of the Weather Amulet? And can Zero sense us right now? I collected that book but not the amulet three months ago and it was because of that hero's interruption." said Augur.

The cloaked figure said,"Nope! We're not on his freaky detection radar thanks to some tech thing so do you want that Animus for your collection?". Augur smiled ,revealing his sharp teeth in the process, as he said,"Yes. The child has a powerful Animus on her but she can use it even though she isn't a Sorcerer. It may seem that in the past, one of her ancestor was one. So are you going to keep watching this Lust?".

Lust waved to Augur as it said,"Probably since Pride has me sent me here to see if she's one of the symbols of that damn prophecy. Have fun.". Augur soon disappeared with Lust watching the scene below. "So Zero is here. I wonder if she a symbol after all. I really guess I should be informing Pride about this but if things get really crazy. I'll be doing just that after I watch this and get something to eat." said Lust.

Everyone watched as Emilia got on the skateboard and quickly forwarded herself into the dome. She quickly skated the side of the bowl and launched up into the air doing a flip and landed back with ease. She then did this on on the other side this time, doing a quick hand stand and making an expert landing. Everyone watched in awe as Emilia continued launching up in the air and doing tricks. It was then the pre-teen decided to switch things up.

She soon skated outside the bowl and went over to some railing, grinding on it. Upon running out of rail, she soon skated over to a rather large ramp. She started skating back and forth on it with her slowly gaining momentum for a big jump. Upon getting what she needed, she speeds up and leaped up air into the air. She then proceeded to do a triple flip and then landing flat on his board at the very last second.

Emilia skated off the ramp and back to the group with most of them have wide-eyed and gaped mouths with Zane remaining impartial. "So why aren't you shocked?" said Twilight. "In my life, I have seen things that make that impressive stunt look normal." said Zane. "True but you could at least pretend." said Athena. "He could but that would admit weakness." said Sivarth. Emilia noticed the expression on most of their faces with her smiling.

She soon stepped on the front of the board, launching it into the air. She caught it and grinned smugly at them. "And that's how the legend does it." said Emilia. The group ,except for Zane, clapped for the youngest and her amazing skills on a board. "Nice move." said Ralph with Jana throwing her fellow female a thumbs up. "I totally didn't expect to see such skills from you cos." said Carlos with Kristen noticing Zane's lack of emotions.

She elbowed him in the stomach as she said,"Don't you have something to say?". "I thought that you wanted me to think before I speak Kris." said Zane, earning a groan from Kristen. "Don't worry. Lets see what you can do novio." said Emilia, crossing her arms. Zane smirked with him saying,"Sure and by the way, you were pretty good Emilia but I'm the Zenith.". He soon picked up the skateboard he was borrowing and placed the board on the ground, standing on it.

He turned around to see Kristen's friends looking at him with anticipation and Emilia with a smug face firmly on her face. "Come on Zaney. We're waiting." said Emilia. "Get ready to be amazed." said Zane with him blinding himself by turning his helmet backwards. "What is he doing?" said Ralph. "Being Zane. He tends to do things the most illogical way but they seem to work out in the end for him at least." said Carlos. He then speed forward before they could react.

They all watched as Zane skated on the sides of the bowl, increasing his speed by kicking against the ground. They've seen the move before but Zane was going faster than normal and becoming a blur in the process. Upon reaching the max speed, he leaned to change direction and practically rocket his way out of the bowl and into the air. He soon launched the board toward the ramp with him flipping toward it.

Upon the board hitting the ramp, it soon bounced into the air and Zane landing onto the board with a handstand with his left hand. He soon grabbed the board with his right hand and did a flip which got him back on the board with his feet and landed back on the ramp. He then proceeded back into the bowl and slowly gain more momentum. He went back into the air ,making the board spin faster than normal, before slamming it down on a long piece of railing.

He soon began grinding on it, creating flames. Upon running out of rail, Zane jumped back into the bowl and made one last jump into the air, landing next to the group. Zane turned his helmet back around with him saying,"And that's why I'm a skating god back in Noble Haven.". The Whiskey Springs teens and pre-teen were practically slacked jaw after witnessing his performance. The silence was broken by Jana who was clapping followed by Ralph and Tanya.

Jana said,"That was amazing. You're well good for her before but now, you're perfect.". Kristen soon shook her head as she said,"Sometimes Zane. You really go overboard with everything.". "If this place was more empty, I would have gone even further. And you love it when I do." said Zane. He soon handed the helmet back to Tanya with him saying,"Thanks for the helmet Tanya and sorry for blowing your mind.". 

He soon dodged a punch from Kristen as Tanya said,"It's fine Zane. I've never seen anyone good as Bianca or Emilia but you showed me otherwise.". "Wait. She can skate?" said Cole. "So where did you learn that?" said Ralph. "Like I said. I'm the skate god of Noble Haven plus I actually skated a crater when I was in Japan." said Zane. "Plus training with Gravity Drive and actually having a hoverboard helped with trick making." said Kane.

Zane turned to Emilia with her still shocked. "So Emilia, how did I do?" said Zane. "You did good but I'm much better right?" said Emilia with a grin. "Keep telling yourself cos. You two both did good but we should probably head back before it gets dark." said Carlos, tussling his cousin's hair. "Yeah and trust me Zane, you don't want to make Abuela mad especially if you're late for dinner." said Emilia, shivering in fear the last time she missed dinner.

Zane nodded as he said,"Hell has no fear like a woman when triggered. My master said that after he pissed off my grandma and was punched.". He and Carlos put everything back in the duffle bag with him and the four Ortiz family members waving goodbye to Jana and Ralph. "See you guys next time I'm in town." said Zane. "You and Kris are cute together!" shouted Jana. "And if you make her cry, I'll kick your ass and next time, teach me god of skate!' said Ralph.

The next morning, Zane was heading back to the Ortiz house being that he just got done with his morning jog across the city of Whiskey Springs five times while doing some street crime without them noticing or going Zane. He soon entered the house with him smelling something really good coming from the kitchen. He soon found Camilla working on various dishes, mostly likely for the first meal of the day breakfast.

Camilla spotted him with her saying,"Huh and here I thought that you were joking about being up this early.". "Nope. If I want this figure, I have to keep up my training even when I'm on a vacation of sorts. So you cooking breakfast?" said Zane, standing in the kitchen. "Of course! I always get up bright and early to make sure that my family has a delicious breakfast so they can face the day with no problems. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all." said Camilla.

Zane smiled as he said,"My mom would do that except she's a night owl. You really do go all out so need some help?". He noticed the large proportions of food for breakfast alone as Camilla said,"That would be just perfecto Zane. Thank you Zane. You can stir the pot there while I set up the table.". The boy gave her a thumbs up as Camilla set up dishes and silverware. She headed out to the table to set them out.

Zane walked over to the stove and saw the pot that Camilla told him to stir. He looked inside to see a breakfast soup with an amazing smell. He grabbed a nearby spoon with him deciding to take a taste test. It was a bit on the spicy side but he liked spicy things. "Be careful nino. It's spicy." said Camilla as she expected this. "Don't worry grandma. I like the spicy things." said Zane. He soon noticed the different spices on the cabinets.

He began looking between the soup and spices until he had an idea. "Lets make this A+ plus soup into an S rank soup. Twilight, minding grabbing me some spices." said Zane under his breath. "Sure thing partner." said Twilight. She sprouted tendrils from Zane's back with Zane looking them over and since he loved to eat, learning how to cook was important being that he learned from Kurt and Lucius when he was young. He added a bit of spices to the soup and began stirring.

He tasted it again being that while it kept its spicy nature, it was sweet as well. "Zane! Everything is set up!" yelled Camilla from the dining/living room. "Coming." said Zane, picking up the pot and heading into the room. He soon saw the entire family there with him saying,"And here I thought that Wolfram was fast.". "Yeah. We're not super fast but when it comes to abuela's meals, we become like Swift Form." said Carlos, leaning on the table.

Zane nodded with him serving the soup, earning a thank you or gracias from everyone while Camilla went back into the kitchen to get everything else from breakfast. Once she returned, Zane sat down with him sitting in between Kristen and Luis. "Okay. Dig in!" said Camilla. Upon hearing this, the Ortiz family and Zane quickly ate the food in front of them, starting with soup. Zane watched them taking a sip and smiling. "Well done." said Sivarth.

Nicole said,"Wow mom. You really outdone yourself with the soup today.". "Yeah. This soup is really good." said Bianca. "It's spicy and sweet. A perfect mixture like peanut butter and jelly." said Sal with Diego nodding. After hearing that, Camilla looked confused as she said,"Huh. Sweet and spicy? That isn't my normal recipe but I'll admit that it's good.". She soon took another sip as Zane said,"Yeah. I did that.".

The family looked at him with him saying,"Before you attack me for changing the recipe, hear me out. I took a taste early being that despite my love of spicy things, it could use a bit more to make it perfect. I borrowed some spices. Sorry for not telling you grandma.". "I don't mind at all. I had no idea that you need how to cook." said Camilla. "Well, my older brothers taught me because we had to hunt for our meals back in the days. Those were good times." said Zane.

Sal said,"Well, I think we had a pretty good breakfast right family?". The family nodded in agreement with Kristen whispering,"Good job Zaney. I think you're being a real good boyfriend.". "Thanks and hopefully, I'll be a good husband right dear?" whispered Zane. Kristen soon punched him in the arm as she sighed. After they cleaned up breakfast, Zane watched into the living room and saw Bianca painting her nails. "So why are we talking to her again?" said Athena.

Kane said,"Because Zane wants to bond with the entire Ortiz family. She's the last one left so what's the plan boss?". "Hey there Bianca." said Zane. "What's up Zaney? Is there something wrong in your perfect world?" said Bianca, putting her nail polish down. "Didn't Kristen tell you and Emilia not to call me that?" said Zane, remembering how Kristen told her three female cousins that at dinner last night.

Bianca shrugged as she said,"I won't steal you from her. You make my cousin happy and she deserves her prince charming aka you. So what's up?". "Mind helping the prince with something." said Zane as he whispered something into her ears. Her eyes soon widened upon hearing Zane as Bianca said,"Are you serious?". "100%. Mind informing the family of my little plan for tonight?" said Zane. "Sure thing Zane. Mind keeping Kris busy while we prepare?" said Bianca.

Zane smirked as he said,"That I can easily do. We were going to the arcade that she told me about for a date.". "How sweet." said Bianca. "I know right? So where is Tanya? I haven't seen her since we had breakfast. Did she go out with Em and Luis?" said Zane. "Nope. She loves breakfast but she usually goes back to sleep after breakfast. She has been busy lately." said Bianca. "Which is really suspicious right you guys?" said Cole. "Okay. I was just curious." said Zane.

Later at the arcade/pizzeria called the Retrocade which is a national brand, Kristen and Zane were there. "Okay. I'm really enjoying this place." said Zane, taking a bite of pizza being that he ordered two large pepperoni pizzas. "I knew that you would. So are you ready to play?" said Kristen. "Sure but don't cry to Abuela when you lose." said Zane. Zane finished off the second pizza and they went over to a shooting gallery.

They inserted their coins as Kristen said,"Yeah right. I seem to recall the last time we did this, I won and not you. I still have the dolphin.". "I was just going easy for the pretty girl." said Zane. Kristen smiled as she said,"And they saw chivalry is dead.". The two began shooting at the screen with them clearly in close sync with each other. "You're not bad Zane." said Kristen. "Yeah Kris. I had a lot of practice with my guns so this is nothing for me." said Zane.

The two were having a fun time with each other before Zane hearing loud screams of people in the distance. "Huh. That can't be good." said Zane. "What's up?" said Kristen. "Screaming usually means something bad. We may have cut out date short." said Zane. "I don't mind if we do but I'm coming with you to help. I have powers too." said Kristen. "I wasn't going to stop you. Lets get going before more people are in danger." said Zane.

The two teens were soon gone as they soon ran directly toward the source of the screaming. Once they arrived, they saw a building under construction. "So what's going on?" said Kristen. Zane soon looked up to see two workers on a lift and the steel wool on the lift starting to break. "Found it. They are about to fall and fast." said Zane. It soon snapped causing the construction works to start danging from the now hanging pulley and screaming for help. 

While most of the crowd watched in horror, there were two who simply watched with a determined face aka Kristen and Zane. The two headed off toward the nearest alleyway with no one seeing them leave. Once they found a secure spot away from anyone's view, Kristen transformed into Aqua. Zane soon turned into Legion Zero with him swapping into Dragonfly Form. The two soon leap into action as Zane said,"I'll try to catch them before you fall.".

Kristen nodded as she said,"And I'll catch anything that you miss.". "There's nothing to fear!" said a voice, causing the two heroes to turn around and seeing Conjurer. "Leave it to me!" said Conjurer as a girl from the crowd screamed,"OMG! It's Conjurer and Legion Zero!". Zane took a closer look at Conjurer with him giving a quick look over. "That's Tanya right? I sense the Animus." thought Zane as Sivarth nodded. "We're not telling Kris this yet right?" said Sivarth.

Conjurer soon surveyed the area with her seeing that there was another construction worker trapped under a truck that had been crushed by a steel beam. She soon saw a bench with a couple of wooden blanks on it. Conjurer soon ran toward it as Kristen said,"So what is she doing exactly?". "Just watch Aqua." said Zane, crossing his arms. Conjurer jumped onto the wooden plank, causing several smaller planks to fly into the air.

One of the planks just happened to fly into the driver seat of a nearby construction vehicle and just so happened to hit a switch inside. This released the wrecking ball to fall down onto the truck which got the steel beam off freeing the man inside. Said steel beam soon ended up hitting a button to an nearby elevator causing it to rocket upwards at high speed. The elevator soon ended up crashing into some spare wood causing them to fall down toward Conjurer.

Kristen soon released a burst of wind, which turned into blades. This sliced the wood into tiny and harmless pieces being that Conjurer soon jumped into a cement truck. She soon caused it to back up and a hit a large pipe. It soon angled itself right under the construction workers, making like a make shift slide. "Slide on down! It's safe!" said Conjurer. The workers looked at each other being that they reluctantly let go and slide through the giant pipe.

The two workers slide safely toward the ground with the crowd cheered as the workers stood up completely unharmed. "That was amazing!" said a boy. "Yeah! Conjurer is amazing!" said a girl with stars for eyes. "Yeah. I'm going to see if I can get her autograph along with Legion Zero and Aqua. So where did they go?" said a boy. The three heroes were gone with Conjurer figuring that no one was following her.

She was being watched from above thanks to Zane carrying Kristen in Dragonfly Form. "So what are we doing Zero?" whispered Kristen. "I need to show you something Aqua and promise me that you won't be mad." said Zane. "Okay?" said Kristen. In a nearby alleyway, Conjurer was standing in front of her back pack being that Conjurer took a deep breath. She soon turned back into Tanya with her saying,"Another rescue done perfectly.". She soon heard,"Tanya is Conjurer?!".

She soon tensed up and slowly turned around to see Zane ,who deactivated Dragonfly Form but was still in costume, standing next to an irate Kristen. "Zero! Aqua!" said Tanya, covering her mouth. "So how long have you known about this?" said Kristen. "About a few minutes. I mean I sense Animus coming into the city so mind explaining to me how a non-sorcerer got Animus?" said Zane. The girl sweated nervously as Kristen said,"I thought that you told me humans can't use Animus.".

Zane sighed as he said,"They can't normally but if your descendant was one, you can use it. It's how Shaman was able to use magic along with a lot of studying.". "Well, you see...." said a stuttering Tanya. Kristen soon put her hand on her cousin's shoulder as she said,'You can trust us with a secret Tanya.". Tanya's eyes soon widened upon seeing Aqua turning into Kristen and Zero turning into Zane with the former shocking her. "Kris? You have powers." said Tanya.

Zane soon smiled as he said,"Yeah. That's kinda my fault.". "And like we've told you, we don't regret getting powers in order to protect you from getting in trouble." said Kristen. The two turned to the stunned Tanya with Twilight saying,"I think we broke her.". After some time, Tanya recovered and she turned to her cousin. "So who else in the family knows about your powers Kris?" said Tanya as Kristen looked at Zane. "Just you and Abuelo. He and Luke worked together right?" said Kristen.

Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. Their main focus is finding metahumans on Earth and helping them control their power. They also want to protect normal people from the metahumans who would use their powers for evil. So how did you get Animus Tanya?'. "Well, it's because of this." said Tanya. She soon pulled out a necklace from her bag as Kristen noticed the charm on it. It was made out of wood with there being an indent that formed the symbol of a lightning bolt on the front.

Kristen said,"So what's this?". "A powerful charm known as the Weather Amulet. Not a very clever name but it's quite powerful. Upon contact with it, it can grant a Sorcerer the power of Animus. You have to be in contact with it to slowly gain its power. So how long have you had it?" said Zane. "For about three months." said Tanya. "So where did you get it?" said Kristen. "Well, it happened during our field trip to the museum about three months ago." said Tanya.

Flashback P.O.V.
The trio of Jana, Ralph, and Tanya were seen with a tour group being that they were walking through the museum with several old and mystical artifacts that were being shown. "The museum were giving tours for free in celebration for its 30th anniversary. We were forced to go because our principal likes anything for free." said Tanya's voice. "And behind this impenetrable glass is the recently discovered and only known existing copy of the Compendium of the Arcane." said the tour guide.

The tour guide said,"It contains text describing how a person can manipulate the weather to help the crops using something called the Weather Amulet. It may not be a clever name because it was around during the 1600s.". "Okay Jana. This is really boring." said Ralph, yawning loudly. "It isn't that bad Ralph. I mean Tanya is having fun." said Jana, pointing to her friend who was staring directly at the book.

Tanya's voice said,"I've always been fascinated in magic being that I mainly read fantasy books and admired Slicer because she used magic in her sword. However, something crazy happened.". All of a sudden, the museum was shaking and this caused everyone to hold onto something. They all started floating up into the air with them hitting the ceiling while screaming. "What the heck is going on you guys?!" shouted Jana. "I don't think this is on the tour." said Tanya.

Ralph looked at her with him saying,"No really.". "Quit being an ass Ralph! Look!" said Jana, with her pointing to the door. They all watched the entrance as black smoke soon came from the door and pretty much erased it from this plane of existence. Augur emerged from the smoke with him standing in front of the book of spells. "The Compendium of the Arcane. This power belongs to me after it was taken from me by him so many years ago." said Augur.

The glass encasing the book soon shatter as Augur reached out and grabbed the book. "He's taking the book!" said Tanya. "Again. We don't need the no shit commentary." said Ralph who was slapped by Jana. This banter got Augur's attention as his staff glowed. Gravity soon returned to normal and everyone who was stuck to the ceiling was falling down. "Hey! Didn't your mommy tell you not to take things without permission?" said a voice.

Everyone soon landed on a bounce castle ,which was made out of crimson red Nether, as Augur saw the person who had been chasing him since he left Blacktomb Detention Center two years ago during the breakout which he caused. It was Zane being that he was currently in Shredding Form. "Dude! It's Legion Zero!" said Ralph. "And here I thought that you hated no-shit commentary." said Jana, with her earning a glare from Ralph. "Thanks fan boy but all of you need to leave now." said Zane.

Zane soon looked upwards to see that Tanya was holding onto the chandelier. "Oh crap. That can't be good. That's Kris's cousin right?" said Cole. "It is. Save her Zane." said Athena. "You won't be a thorn in my side again child!" said Augur. He soon released powerful bolts of crimson Animus which Zane dodged easily. From above, Tanya had an idea. She soon unhooked the chandelier from the ceiling and before he could do anything, the chandelier fell on him.

This caused him to drop the book and Zane ,now in Swift Form, soon ran up the wall, jumping off it and caught Tanya as she said,"Thanks.". The two landed as Zane said,"No problem. Thanks for the assist. Mind helping me find that book that he was trying to take.". The speedster form soon ran around the room with him looking for the book. Tanya found the book nearby Augur and picked it up. It glowed for a bit which blinded Tanya for a minute. This light soon produced the Weather Amulet.

It soon latched itself onto Tanya before disappearing into her bag. The light was soon gone as Tanya saw that Zane was currently fighting against Augur, firing off a barrage of rapid fire punches and tying him up in a banner. "Thanks for the assist and tell the police to be gentle with him. Sorcerer aren't too strong." said Zane. The hero was gone as the police burst in and just before they could catch Augur, he vanished with the book.

Narrator P.O.V.
Tanya said,"And that's how I got the amulet.". Kristen looked at her boyfriend who whistled. "When were you going to tell me that you were here in Whiskey Springs and saved my cousin?" said Kristen as she crossed her arms. "It didn't come up in a good way. I mean I kinda knew that Tanya was your cousin but I was more focused on stopping Augur. So did they catch him? He's kinda a big deal in terms of the evil Sorcerer community." said Zane.

Tanya sighed as she said,"No. He escaped before the police could get him. Sorry.". "It isn't your fault Tanya. Augur is a high level magician being that he's like a younger version of General Necrosis but he requires his magic staff to be competent. He's mostly likely biding his time and waiting for the right time to strike. So when did you become Conjurer?" said Zane. "About a month ago. I saw you fighting against that weird monster on the Thanksgiving day parade." said Tanya.

Kristen shivered as she said,"Yeah. Darth isn't exactly the most friendly creature around. He took over our classmate Bryan and he's been in the hospital ever sense.". "Anyway Cos, the amulet soon glowed and then I soon made it a snow day. I soon learned that I had complete control over the weather. It was pretty cool." said Tanya. "What do you mean by that?" said Kristen. "Well, I always knew that Zero or Augur would come back and take my powers away from me." said Tanya.

Zane smiled as he said,"Augur would have but I wouldn't. You're doing good with your powers Tanya or Conjurer. I read about you stopping that robbery of that old lady with a hot dog cart which by the way is funny.". Tanya blushed as she looked away. "Thank you. You were my inspiration since you are this amazing hero." said Tanya. Kristen soon noticed this as she said with a hard punch to the left arm,"Didn't I say no charming or seducing my cousins? You've charmed all three of them!".

Zane hugged Kristen as he said,"Don't worry Kris. You're the only Ortiz for me. So does anyone else know about Conjurer?". "Only Carlos actually. He helped me train my powers because he doesn't want me to be like him when it comes to misusing his powers." said Tanya. "I guess he's trying and succeeding at redeeming himself." said Kane. "Yep. I guess things are pretty good." said Twilight as the three teens were talking.

The trio had come up to the tallest building in the entire city. They ,along with other people that were with them, stepped out of the elevator. "Welcome to the top deck. Don't forgot your complimentary photo on the way out." said the elevator operator. The group soon made their way to the end of the deck where they could see the entire city. "This is always a nice view huh Zane? Doesn't beat seeing the Earth from space right?" said Kristen.

Zane shook his head as he said,"Yeah but seeing this view is really nice.". He soon grabbed Kristen's hand and he said,"Especially with you Kris.". The brunette blushed as Tanya smiled. "You're quite the strange guy." said Tanya. "Yeah but I like being strange. If I was a normal guy, it wouldn't be at all fun to little old me." said Zane. "I guess so. So do you two mind helping me out with some crime fighting before Zane leaves?" said Tanya.

Zane said,"Sure but only if Kris approves. I'm promised her that I wouldn't go Zero unless it was a super big deal like her family's shop being robbed or people falling to their deaths.". "Like that?" said Tanya with her pointing to a TV and drawing Kristen and Zane's attention. There was a reporter on the screen as she said,"Breaking news! We've received word that the Whiskey Springs Bank is being robbed by the Bull Sharks.".

Zane looked confused as Kristen said,"They're a local gang here in town and they've tried to rob the store yesterday.". "They're holding hostages as well being that we have received from the bank's security camera." said the reporter. The screen showed several men ,wearing ski masks, wielding high-tech rifles, and about twelve of them, along with some hostages on the floor curled in the fetal position. One hostage in particular caught Kristen's attention.

It was her brother Carlos being that he was trying his best not to burn these guys down but he knew that if he did that, he would get the hostages in even more danger. "Civilians are advised not to approaching the bank until the threat has ended." said the reporter. Kristen soon dragged Zane away from the view being that the couple were in a corner of the deck with the younger cousin nearby them as Zane said,"So what's up Kris?".

Kristen said,"I know that you're going to save those people from the bank but can the two of us come with you? He's my brother and her cousin.". "I was going to let you two come with me but we need to get there fast." said Zane. He soon opened up his portal as Tanya said,"So what powers do you not have?". "That's a good question cos. Lets get going." said Kristen. The two Ortiz girls went into the portal as Zane followed after them, closing the portal behind him.

The three teen soon stood on a roof of a building that was across the bank. All three of them were wearing their costumes. Zane looked down to see a group of cops with them pointing their guns at the building. "I think this will be a real easy mission. We just need to sneak in, knock out the bad guys, and making sure the hostages are safe." said Zane. He soon turned back to the Ortiz girls with them looking both serious. "So are you two ready to go?" said Zane.

Kristen nodded as she said,"Yeah. You better not take all of the credit for this Zero. This is Conjurer's city not yours.". "I won't and name me one time I've done something like that." said Zane. Before Kristen could say anything, Tanya said,"I hate to interrupt your guys's flirting but we should focus on the mission at hand.". "Yeah. Ready to go over? I mean you can fly right Conjurer?" said Zane. The girl nodded as the three soon flew across the police blockade.

All three teens soon landed on the rooftop as Zane said,"Okay. Follow me or ladies first. I mean neither of you are wearing a skirt but whatever.". He soon removed the screws off the vent that was leading to the air duct. Inside of the bank, the leader of the gang said and pointing their guns at the hostage,"Okay. All of you put your money and valuables in the sacs or else you get your guts pumped full of lead.". "Don't these things use energy sir?" said a goon, getting a dope slap.

Meanwhile, the two Ortiz girls were watching from the airduct as Tanya whispered,"So what is the signal?". "With Zero, it's obvious." whispered Kristen. Kristen pointed to Zane ,who was blending into his surroundings in Detective Form, with him forming a ping pong ball of light in his hands. "I said put the money in the bag!" said the leader, pointing his rifle at Carlos's head. "Okay. Just don't hurt me you....." said Carlos, pulling out his wallet.

However before the money could leave the wallet, the small ball of light had landed between him and the robbers. "Close your eyes." mouthed Zane to the two girls. The two closed their eyes with their arms as the ball of light exploded, blinding everyone other than the heroines and Zero being that he was made out of light. "Show time." whispered Kristen. The two hopped out of the airduct with Zane soon reappearing.

Zane soon made a large claw machine ,made out of light and having several claws, and used it to grab the weapons from the robber's hands. "Hey! Who the hell did that?!" said the leader as he and his gang's vision returned to them. They soon saw Legion Zero standing there with his arms crossed. "It's Legion Zero!?!" said the gang members. Tanya coughed as the gang noticed them. "It's Conjurer and I think Aqua?" said the gang leader.

Kristen soon rolled her eyes as Zane said,"Okay. Here's what going down. You're going to call off the robbery, return any money that you've taken from the hostages, and let them go and give yourselves up to the cops. If you don't, we'll just beat the crap out of you.". He ended his speech with him pounding his fist into his hand. The gang members chuckled. "Look. I'm not scared of some punk kids." said the leader.

The teens looked at each other with Zane saying,"Okay. We'll each take about three of them and leave the final three to Cinder.". He winked to Carlos with the pyrokinetic nodding his head before dropkicking one of the goons. Tanya soon performed a impressive somersault and grabbed the leader's head between her thighs before tossing him into a nearby wall. "Wow. That's an impressive throw Conjurer. Nice." said Zane in an impressed tone.

He didn't need Crisis Judgement to tell that his girlfriend wasn't too happy about him flirting with another girl in front of her being that this girl is her cousin. One of the goons soon pulled out a regular knife being that he attempted to charge at Tanya but was quickly stopped by a giant wall of light, dropping the knife in the process. Zane soon delivered an uppercut to the chin and then kicking him right in the stomach and knocking him to the ground.

Both Tanya and Zane turned to the remaining goon being that the rest were knocked out by Carlos and Kristen. "So ladies first?" said Zane, offering it to Tanya. Tanya nodded as she said,"And they say that chivalry is dead.". She soon made two ice gauntlets and rushed toward the robbers before pouncing on them, with her fist hitting the goon. The robber then held his face in pain being that his cheek was slightly frozen. Zane smirked as he said,"Nice punch Conjurer.".

His body soon turned into light as the leader punched right through him. "What the?!" said the gang leader. He was soon punched by Zane, knocking him out. as Kristen said,"And I think that was a good punch as well. So should we get going?". "Yeah. You heroes did pretty good." said Carlos with him putting his hand on Kristen's shoulder. The three heroes were gone as Carlos thought,"Well, I'm now sure that I need to have a word with Zane before he leaves. It's about my sister.".

Zane ,who was out of Detective Form, smiled as he said,"And that was a successful mission. You did a good job Tanya. I guess you getting that magic item was a good thing.".  The three were sitting on a rooftop, nearby the bank and out of costume. "Thank you for letting me keep my powers Zane." said Tanya, bowing. "You really don't need to bow. I already get that enough and I'm not a fan." said Zane, looking visibly uncomfortable.

Kristen said,"Zaney is actually a king of the Phantoms. You know what those are?". Tanya nodded as she said,"Yeah. Grandpa talks about them with me when I'm helping out in the shop or just spending time with him. He says that what Swarm is doing is wrong because judging an entire species just because of a couple of bad eggs is nothing but bad in the long run.". Zane nodded as Athena said,"I hate to interrupt but we have a problem.".

Zane soon got the girls's attention ,who were talking about him of all topics, as he said,"Go ahead Athena. We're ready right?". "Will do." said Athena's voice from Zane's watch. "So there are two of them in there?" said Tanya. "Yeah. One of them is the straight man or the tsukkomi being that the other one is the comic relief or boke. Am I right Athena?" said Kristen. "Yes. He's way more annoying than you may think." said Athena. "Hey!" said Cole. "Anyway, here's what going on." said Athena.

Zane's watch soon said,"And if things haven't been strange enough lately, the history museum has come to life. Several visitors are trapped inside.". "I'm going to guess that we're going to handle it because we're the only ones who can stop it." said Tanya. Zane opened up a portal to the museum as he said,"Yeah Tanya plus I really want to fight a dinosaur. Lets go!". He was soon gone as Kristen facepalmed at that scene from her usually cool boyfriend.

Tanya sweatdropped at this scene as she said,"So is that normal?". "Yes. He has a love of dinosaurs being that ever since I've known him, he's always wanted to ride one. That was in Elementary School and he still wants to do that." said Kristen as she sighed. The two girls soon went after him and the portal closed. Nearby them, Lust was watching the scene. "Lets see what's going to happen at the museum!" said Lust, turning into lightning.

The three teens ,who were in their costumes, ran into the museum with them seeing that the stairs ,that led up to the second floor, had come to life tossing and turning the trapped people on them as the wood was starting to break from it bending. "Ah. Why are there no dinosaurs?" said Zane with a depressed look. "Seriously?!" said Tanya. "Yeah." said Kristen. Above them, Augur was watching from the window with the curtains blowing from the wind.

Augur smiled as he said,"I knew that you would come here and help these mortals plus I get to have my revenge on him since I sense him nearby.". "Everyone! Please remain calm! We're going to get you down!" said Zane as he and the girls got to work. Conjurer made her way toward the stairs being that Crisis Judgement went off. "Get ready to dodge ladies!" said Zane. The wood from the stairs peeled themselves off and launched themselves at the heroes. They were either dodged or destroyed.   

Zane transformed into Bone Form being that like Diamond Form and a couple of other forms, the form had been upgrade thanks to the Zenith Core. He's still the same height being six feet tall. He lost his hedgehog/pig appearance being that he now looked to an a slender, yet muscular armadillo. He has black ,with crimson red streaks, armor that starts on his head and ends at his tail which is still small. He still has sharp white bones protruding from the armor.

His skin is now completely gray with it looking rough and worn out. His nose goes forward and looks like a snout. His eyes are now more normal being that they are still red. His arms and legs are rather long with five sharp, black claws on his hands and feet being that his hands are covered by brown fingerless gloves and his feet are covered by his black boots ,which are light and hyper friction resistant, with a single red strap on them.

He's wearing a black leather jacket alongside dark blue jeans. He's wearing a cowboy like hat on his head with him wearing reinforced shoulder pads with two steels plates and knees pads. He's also still wearing his black t-shirt that has an orange bone in the center of it. On the back of his shell, he has two rocket like engines. Zane threw his bones directly toward the pieces of wood as he said in his southern accent,"You gals save the people. I'll handle that!".

Zane soon made two bone sabers with him running toward the pieces of wood that weren't destroyed by them early. The two Ortiz girls ran their way up the stairs with the entire banister ended up flying of the wall, leaving everyone screaming and pleading for their lives. Both Kristen and Tanya were struggling to hang on but then let go. However, both girls remember that they could fly and they soon floated in the air.

However, the girls watched as a person was sliding off the remaining banister and started falling. The person was soon caught by a bone construct of a hand. The person was thankful that she didn't fall to the ground being that she didn't notice the wooden pillar above her. It was blasted to pieces by a lightning bolt from Tanya. Just then, the banister went flying across the room again. Zane soon caught it and stop it in its track.

He stomped his boot covered feet into the ground with him trying to gain footing and a better grip on the object. "Okay. This is really annoying at this point." said Zane. The girls looked at the people who were still hanging on being that Kristen nodded. The two Ortiz girls jumped into action being that they flew right toward the people. "Everyone! Grab on!" said Tanya. The people wasted no time as they grabbed onto the heroes.     

Once Zane saw that everyone was hanging onto his girlfriend and her cousin, Zane dropped the railing and let it fall to the ground. He began panting for a bit being that he said,"Bone Form may have got an upgrade but it's no Brawn Form when it comes to raw strength.". He soon made a bone slide as the people were sliding down them after letting go of the girls. All of the people quickly got off and headed outside of the building.

Upon them leaving the museum, the doors shut tight on them. Tanya soon felt herself being grabbed by an unknown force being that she was soon being dragged into the air. The trio soon saw Augur standing the air with him soon moving Tanya around the room. "Give me back what I rightfully deserve!" said Augur with his staff glowing. Tanya soon grabbed onto a large red drape nearby the window and slowly descended to the ground.

The drape soon ended up falling onto Augur with a sign of knight's armor falling down onto him. "I don't think he's like you Zero." said Tanya. "Yeah. Villains tend to be the mean type. You girls get out of here. I'll make sure our friend stays around before I join up with you." said Zane as the girls ran down a hallway. Zane soon fired a barrage of bones toward the drape just as it was floating in the air thanks to Augur and this stopped the bones from hitting their target.

The armor was sent flying into the air and Augur looked back at Zane. "You damn fool. Nothing will stop me since I have them for assistance." said Augur. "Don't know who you're talking about but I don't care. You're not laying a hand on my friends." said Zane. He soon threw a barrage of bones toward Augur with a giant one coming shortly after. Augur counted this by making a shield out of Animus, catching all of the bones including the big one.

Augur soon chuckled as he said,"You can't stop me! I'm a god!". "Yeah and I take down gods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!" said Zane, going into a ball. He soon rushed toward Augur with the armadillo slamming right into Augur. However upon contract, Augur smiled as he exploded into smoke. "Son of a biscuit! He tricked me. That was a good clone." said Zane. "Yeah. It fooled me too. Go after the girls!" said Kane.

Zane nodded as he rolled away to the backyard of the museum. "I hate to be a backseat driver here but you're kinda going the wrong way!" said Cole. "Trust me. Tanya knows this museum better than I do and if my guess is right, we should be able to help them better from outside plus the girls are tough." said Zane. "He's right Cole. Have faith in the girls." said Athena.  Meanwhile, the two girls were soon in the underground tunnels of the museum.

The scenery wasn't calming their nerves being that it look straight from the 1800's with spider webs everywhere along with humans bones and skulls spread out. It still looked cleaner than Elysian but that isn't a fair comparison. "We should take a break." said Kristen with her noticing that Tanya was out of breath. "Good idea cos. Do you think we lost him?" said Tanya. On the other side of the room that they were in's wall, Augur stood there.

He knew exactly where they were thanks to him tracking Tanya by her Animus. He levitated in the air with his staff glowing. "You shall not escape." said Augur. Kristen leaned her body against the wall as a loose brick in the wall fell out. "Um. Did I do something wrong?" said Kristen. Tanya soon shrugged as this loose brick just so happened to cause the cave to shake, making Augur lose his focus as the ceiling and well came down onto him.

Tanya soon looked at the fallen debris with her seeing that Kristen had fallen toward a coffin which was filled with multiple human skeletons. One of them was leaning on her before it was blasted away by a powerful burst of wind. The two girls soon saw that Augur was protected thanks to a magic shield. "Your attempt at stomping me failed." said Augur. The Sorcerer was soon trapped in a massive tornado with Kristen saying,"Conjurer! Now! Freeze him!".

She turned to see that her cousin was shaking as Kristen thought,"Crap. I forgot about her fear of closed spaces. I need to get her away of her.". Kristen soon grabbed her cousin with her using the wind to fly away from Augur. The sorcerer soon broke free of the tornado with him firing a beam of Animus at the girls. They dodged it barely being that the beam collided with the wall. This made a short cut to the backyard of the museum aka a spooky old grave yard.

The two girls flew outside into the old cemetery with both of them hid behind a nearby tree and they hoped that they lost Augur. Kristen peeked her head out a bit being that she saw Augur slowly walking toward their direction. Tanya noticed that the tree root suddenly came to life and wrapped herself around Kristen, being extremely tight and she was unable to break free. "No! Let her go right now!" said Tanya.

Augur smiled as she said,"So you care for her don't you thief?". "I'm not a thief! You're the thief since the amulet and book didn't belong to you." said Tanya. "I think back talking me is not a good idea since I can do this." said Augur, snapping his fingers. This increased the pressure on Kristen's prison with her feeling the pain. "Okay! I get your point! If I give you the amulet, you'll let her go right you jerk?" said Tanya. "No! Don't!" said Kristen.

Her mouth was soon covered by vines as she watched Tanya change back to normal and hand Augur the amulet. "So the amulet gave you a costume. How funny." said Augur. "So, you'll let her go. That was the deal." said Tanya. Kristen tried to warn Tanya about the vines but it was too later. Tanya was soon grabbed by vines with Augur saying,"I lied. Have fun dying.". The two girl's vision was slowly fading away as Augur laughed.

A bit later, the two girls were seeing light and could hear ripping. They soon saw Zane ,still in Bone Form, slicing his way through the vine prison as he said with a concerned look,"Sorry for leaving you girls but Augur expected me and gave me some trouble with the vines. They negate your powers so it wasn't too good getting caught in them.". "Thanks Zero. So did you happen to see where he went?" said Tanya.

Crisis Judgement went off as Zane said,"I found him and if my judgement is right, this can't be good.". He soon pointed to Augur who was floating above the graveyard. He had the Weather Amulet around his neck and was holding the Compendium of the Arcane. "Time to regain the power that was taken from me so long ago! I'll start by eradicating this city!" said Augur. He soon created a massive cyclone with bolts of lighting striking down at various places.

The city was caught in heavy wings with them scooping up things such as cars and people being that the city was in chaos. The Sorcerer was soon stopped by a bone straight in the back of his head. This caused him to crash into the ground and losing focus. The cyclone was gone being that the chaos was canceled for right now. The trio soon wasted no time in headed toward where Augur had landed. "So did you get him?" said Kane. "It's never that easy." said Sivarth.

Zane stood in front of the girls as he said,"Stay back! I let you girls get hurt before and I can't let that happen again!". Augur stood on top of a stone structure with a magic shield around him. "Do you honestly think that you can defeat me?" said Augur. "I can because like you, I can power up so lets do that! Bone Prime!" said Zane as his body glowed bright purple. He grows to 12 feet tall with him keeping his armadillo like appearance.

His armor gains molten gold streaks being that his tail is still the same. His sharp white bones slowly changes into a silver color and looking to be made out of steel and really shiny. His skin is still gray and looks rough and worn out. His eyes and nose looks the same being that over his eyes, he wears a pair of black shades. He wears metal prison like shackles on his ankles and wrists. His arms and legs look the same being that he wears the same clothing except for his shirt which changes.

His shirt changes to a red t-shirt with a white crescent moon mark in the center of it. On his back, he now has four rocket like engines. Zane taunted the Sorcerer with him growling. "Arise and fight for your master!" said Augur. He slammed his staff into the ground which caused the stone gargoyles to come to life along with some skeletons. One of the gargoyles with wings flew toward Zane and tried to strike him down.

However, it was soon destroyed thanks to one of Zane's steel like bones which looked to be the size of a lance compared to before. He soon blocked the attack from a bigger one with Zane saying,"So how about you go crumble?!". The rockets on his back turned on with him swinging his spear at his opponent. This sent him flying back and crumbling upon contact. "Okay. One down, a lot more to go. Aqua and Conjurer! You handle Augur! I'll keep his pets busy!" said Zane. 

He soon turned into a ball and rocketed away, with the army chasing right after him through the nearby graveyard. Augur raised his staff into the air and began creating the cyclone again. He was stopped once again when a stone and White Nether hit him square in the chest. He looked down to see both Kristen and Tanya standing there with the latter holding a rock. "I may not have my powers anymore but I still got skills! Now!" said Tanya.

Kristen nodded as she made a tornado and aimed at Augur. The wind soon began gathering rocks and fired them ,like a machine gun, at Augur who was bombarded with stone. One soon hit him right in the forehead and caused him to fall toward the ground. This got the attention of a flying gargoyle being that they flew right at them. "I'll be the distraction cos! Remember when Carlos taught us how to play baseball!" said Tanya.

Kristen smiled as she said,"I sure do.". She soon noticed a large pole with it stuck within the stone that was connected to it. She soon got the pole in a batter up like position. Upon the gargoyle getting closer, she swung the pole right at the gargoyle and destroying it. Back with Zane, the army was soon trapped in a prison of steel spikes created by Zane. Zane soon rolled up a destroyed piece of rubble and used it as a ramp with him saying,"Here's some steel for you!".

He soon fired massive steel spikes, crushing the army within seconds. He soon rolled his way over to Tanya who was holding the Weather Amulet and Augur's staff. Augur soon noticed this being that he couldn't do anything with his staff. He narrowed his eyes at Tanya with him about to take it from her but was stopped by Zane grabbing him. "You've bothered me and my friends long enough you old dirt bag." said Zane.

Zane soon chucked him into an open coffin with him throw two massive bones at the stone slab above it, breaking the support and trapping him inside. "Do you think that was a bit much?" said Kristen. Zane shrugged as he said,"He's a Sorcerer. They got durability for days.". He and Kristen soon turned back to Tanya, holding the magic items. "Um Zane. What should I do with these?" said Tanya. "Why in the nine realms are you asking me?" said Zane.

Kristen said,"Because you're the senior hero here.". "Well, I would suggest keeping them. You're a good hero and trust me, every city needs someone to protect it. I would talk to Luke because he can get you the help that you need." said Zane. Kristen nodded as Tanya said,"Okay. Do you think you can help me too?". "Sure. Just call me if you need me. Lets get out of here." said Zane. The three were gone as the police arrived and arrested Augur, putting him in power hampering cuffs.

The next day, Zane ,who was back to his normal self aka not a superhero, was walking with both Kristen and Tanya with the latter wearing her amulet out in the open. "Still can't believe that you told the entire family about you being Conjurer." said Zane, breaking the silence. "Well, I trust my family just like you do Zane. The three of us make a good team." said Tanya. "Yeah. You're going to be a good hero along with your sidekick Cinder." said Kristen.

Zane chuckled as he said,"I still can't believe that Carlos is going to be your sidekick.". "And is that so funny?" said Kristen. "Because Carlos hated working for people back in the day." said Zane with him earning a punch. "So why didn't you tell me to destroy the amulet and staff?" said Tanya. "You may think that destroying them will preventing someone to get their hands on them but Animus is very stubborn and so are people." said Zane.

He smiled as he said with a thumbs up and a wink,"Don't worry Tanya. You made the right call. A hero isn't defined by having powers or not. A hero is someone who helps other without a reward most of the time.". Tanya blushed at that statement with Zane earning another punch. "Didn't I tell you not to flirt with my cousin?!" said Kristen. "Don't worry so much Kris. I won't steal him away from you because you like him don't you?" said Tanya.

Kristen blushed as she said,"I do. So Zane, are you ready?". The three were in front of the Ortiz's house as Zane gulped. "This was my idea and I need to get over my fear of parties someday." said Zane. "You do know that Abuela would have thrown a party for you regardless if you didn't have the idea of not right?" said Kristen. Zane nodded as the two girls dragged Zane inside for his farewell party being that Zane's time visiting the Ortiz family was over.

What are you doing?" said a voice as Lust turned around. Another cloaked figure ,dressed exactly like Lust except with a less prominent heel stood there, and its arms were crossed. "Chill out Pride. I'm just doing what our boss Greed told me to do. So what are you doing here?" said Lust.

"I would have been but I had some fun messing with Zero before we begin our mission. We just need to get the pieces in play right?". "Correct. We have our pawn doing just that back in Cypress Park. Lets go already." said Pride. "Gotcha!" said Lust as the two were gone.
