A/N: Welcome to Episode 106 being that we're currently in the middle of the arc that consists of Episode 103 to Episode 107. It was going to be Episode 104 to Episode 108 but that changed for the better. I'll say this now but after Episode 107 is complete, Fairy Legion will be my main focus. I can't say right now how long that is going to last but well, it'll be for a while. In this episode and the next one, I will be introducing some concepts in Zero that will be seen in Fairy Legion.
This arc's direction changed twice because the first chance was because I've been playing Spider-Man or Spiderman PS4. The first time that I changed the arc's direction is because of the game but I had to change it again due to the fact that I had no idea on how to take this episode. Here's how I write my stories. I tend to plan for Zero episodes several months ahead and then I update it with my current mindset while writing it. Also it's either Nether or nether.
Another fun fact. I was also writing Episode 105 while I was working on Chapter 14 to Chapter 17 of Fairy Legion being that Zane is a very snarky asshole. He tends to be very much a dick and to be honest, I'm having too much fun doing it. I'm well aware that this may Zane unlikable to most characters but I honestly it's an evolution. Zane ,in Zero, tends to be very blunt and his quipping is awful but that's the point.
He isn't like Spiderman or characters who can come up with the perfect quip for any situation. He tries to make his enemies annoyed so that they'll make a mistake and he can exploit it. You could say that is why Heroes quip but as a battle strategy? I don't think its been done before. I could be wrong being that comics have been around for 50+ years and I'm sure that I'm missing on something. Pretty sure on that fact.
It's also so much fun poking fun at Fairy Tail being that it is a series that I hold very close to my heart being that despite its many flaws ,being that most of them being pretty petty in the grand scheme of things I'll fully admit to that, that I have for it, I still enjoy it. I'll talk about this more in Fairy Legion I'm sure of that because I made long Author Notes to just talk about things like that. Will this episode be like the previous two will have the main villain of the episode aka Everett and Homer sidelined?
This sidelining was for my attempt to build up the story as a whole. I would say that Episode 104 wasn't as bad being that we didn't see Herald until maybe the halfway point of the episode unlike Hunter ,which is totally his super villain name by the way and yes, it's a truly creative name, who appeared at the start at the episode and doesn't fight Zane until the end of it. That episode introduced a member of Swarm who doesn't like to kill Phantoms.
This is big because so far, no one in Swarm so far has wanted to let Phantoms live because they're not humans. Yes, that is their reason for doing this. The reason for killing an entire race for seemingly just because they're different sounds familiar to a group that was in real life doesn't it? I promise here and now that it won't go to those extremes being that's part of history which we can truly never forget or should forget. Lets not get into it here.
The point is that agent of Swarm may be an ally later on if her group goes even more off the deep end and by the way, it totally will. I ain't going to mince words about that. Lets just say that an election will help. I'll explain what I mean by that later. I have a couple more things to talk about before we begin. In this Episode, we're going to meet the members of the Battalion along with the members of the Outcast Syndicate aka Andrew's super villain team.
These two teams don't share too many differences except for that both teams hate Zane because he stopped them or other reasons. So will they work together or will Zane's team defeat them? You read that right. As we know from Episode 104, Zane is making a team for the Alliance being that Danny and Gwen plus Sly are confirmed to be members. Malik is also a member possibly. How many people are going to be in the group? I'll say this. I had the members planned for a while now.
We've also meet most of Zane's team ,being they've appeared over the past 105 episodes, and we're going to meet the final members soon. I'll say that this arc involves the character Orphic plus the Odium Society will have a major presence. I just want to finish this arc off just like before with the Galuna Island arc except I like this arc because it isn't stupid for reasons that I probably mentioned in that arc and I'm sure that I did. So I won't talk about it here.
The next thing is that we're going to see an old villain that has been mentioned several times and wants to redeem himself for his little sister aka Carlos. You may have noticed that I've replaced him and Walter with Clair and Roger respectively. I've been torn on what to do with him being that Zane has made a cure for his powers and will go on the path of good just like Walter and Kristen will be happy for this change.
However, I feel like bring in drama for no real good reason. Carlos was Zane's first super powered villain that he fought being that while he may not be on the same level as Skull Plague, the leaders of the Odium Society, Xona, and other villains, but to me, he's one of the signature bad guys of Zane and I don't want him to leave. You may think that's petty and it totally is I understand that. However, you may have noticed that he hasn't appeared yet.
I'll say this. He'll appear soon and that's all I'm going to say being that I don't want to spoil about what going to happen to him. We're also going to see a lot of villains being that the title doesn't tells about what's going on being that this is a Christmas episode in October. I'm just following the trend of celebrating the holiday earlier. One more thing. Thunder Cove Detention Center is based off the combination of the super prisons the Raft and Vault plus Ryker's Island from Marvel.
Cypress Park is in a state that has an Ocean Coastline being that it isn't Alaska. Hawaii, or New York because Zane flew there in Episode 10 plus I'm pretty sure that over half of the Marvel universe are based in New York. I swear to god. So out of the forty seven states remaining in the US, seventeen states remaining. The fourteen out of seventeen states have the Atlantic Ocean while the other three states are on the Pacific Ocean.
We're going to reveal where Cypress Park is now because this state will have some plot relevance in the DC crossover. We can eliminate the states that border New York leaving us with 11 states because I'm pretty sure you can just drive into New York but what do I know? After going through the final states, I had three choices remaining. These states are California, Florida, and Washington. You may have noticed that two of them are on the Pacific Ocean.
Those two are California and Washington while the other state is Florida which is on the Atlantic Ocean. After doing some research, I thought that I was going to with Washington. This is because of the state's strong economy plus several business (Microsoft, Amazon, and Nintendo) and two famous billionaires living there. I've also mentioned before that Cypress Park is home to several billionaires being that most of the 1% lives there.
California and Florida were my other two choices in terms of location. This isn't because of the several amount of examples of California in fiction and Florida in fiction, I picked these two because both of them have two famous theme parks being Disney and Universal Studios. That's my reason for those two. Yeah, it isn't the best reason but well, it's a reason regardless. To decided on what state, I decided to look at how the states are seen in the DC universe.
I really shouldn't do this but I was also curious at the same time. I did this research by looking at the DC Database. Washington did have Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance aka Green Arrow and Black Canary respectively. I decided not to pick Washington because the other two states were just more interesting to me. The other two states California and Florida is different. I would say from what I researched, California has a lot of superheros being that the Teen Titans were there at one point.
It's like New York in Marvel but I would argue less because well, have you seen how many heroes are there? Florida on the other hand doesn't because I would say the main one is Aquaman and Starfire. So after thinking about it, I decided to go with Florida because of reasons that I'll explain more in the crossover or later on. The mystery has been solved being that Cypress Park is in Florida and it's nearby Miami.
You may ask yourself why I didn't mentioned this and where Thunder Cove is located before but I'm going to guess that past me forgot about it and just did things as I written. Lets just say that past me doesn't think about things like that and I do that in the present as well. That may chance once I start to write a serious story that tug at the heart strings and make you come back for each new chapter. Let's begin with a Zane P.O.V. and spoiler alert, it will be mainly that.
Zane P.O.V.
My name is Zane Vincent Alvarez aka Legion Zero. As all of you probably know by now, I hate the holiday of Christmas being that I've associated Christmas with losing my father. It's rather petty but I was six years old. It was a coping mechanism. I hate the pure joy of others around me during this time of year being that it was mainly jealously based. I hate the commercialism being that the latter reason piss me off the most.
I've seen some shops here in Cypress Park have been selling Christmas decorations since Halloween and I'm not talking about the stories that are selling holiday based goods. When I came back from my twenty plus month training, I made a vow to make Christmas 2019 perfect for Atem since it would be the first Christmas that Atem would be spending with his dad. According to my mom, his first two Christmas with the rest of the family went good so I wanted to be amazing for him.
This vow later changed once I adopted Uriel and Zoey being that I wanted to make all three kids enjoy this time of year while their dad tries not to burn down a forest of Christmas trees. You may think that a hero shouldn't do that but sometimes, I can't control my anger. It's a problem that I'm working on but well, I'm pretty sure that my emotions will be controlling me for several years. This hatred of Christmas and the rest of the holiday starts and ends with me.
According to everyone around me, I've been doing good because I haven't lash out at anyone which for the infamous Christmas Scrooge or Grinch is saying a lot. I've been called both of them equally so I either call myself a Grinch or Scrooge. It depends on my mood. Anyway, I later started to lash out at others because well, I just snapped. The reason why I snapped is because I met the Phantom Holiday Guardian.
He isn't on the same level as Hourglass, Malik, or Spiro but he's up there. This is because he's the so called god of the holidays and well, I pissed off the Phantom. I didn't plan on doing it but well, shit happens. My meeting with him happened at pure chance because well, I was venting out some of my frustration in Terrarune. Before I spoil this holiday tale, lets begin shall we? Our story begins on the twenty three of December and I'm currently on a stakeout mission.
It was in nighttime in Cypress Park being that while people were shopping for some last-minute gifts for loved ones, I was currently Legion Zero and at work. Most jobs have this time of year off because employers and employees want to spend time with their family and friends. However, superheroes do not get that luxury since crime never takes a holiday. I soon landed on a street pole being that this pole was just outside of the Black Blossom Bar.
It's a rather unknown bar here in Cypress Park being that I know of its existence because of the good amount of criminals that go here to drink or bet. Scott knows about this place too being that it's ran by Frankie. If you forgotten who that guy is, he's Carlos's old bookie/dealer. Check out Episode 49 for more details. From what I heard, Frankie was apparently killed by Vicky being that she was being controlled by Kevin's evil Phantom version Ash.
However, he survived that thanks to the Odium Society and after recovering, he was soon given the job of being the man who knows everything relating to crime here in Cypress Park. I needed some answers and he was the perfect man for the job. I soon landed right in front of the bar door and I thought,"Now how should I answer this?". I could hear cheerful Christmas music playing on the other side so I decided to ruin their Christmas spirits because why not.
I kicked opened the door being that everyone in the bar saw me standing there. I leaned against the doorway as I said,"I hope you low-lives are having a happy holidays. Your favorite superhero is here to deliver your holiday beatdown because all of you are on Zero's naughty list.". Most of them soon ran out of the bar being that they went through the side exits. I saw that some of them stayed with me saying,"So I'm guess you guys are the dumb ones then.".
They soon rushed toward me as I smiled. I began dodging their attacks with pole cues or fists with ease being that to someone of my level, it was nothing. My initial point for tonight was meeting up with Kevin and Rachel at the mall. This would have been a bad idea given my distant for Christmas and crowds. Kevin knew this being that he told Rae that bringing me to a crowded mall would be a really bad things.
Rachel loves this time of year despite her not celebrating Christmas at all. She's Jewish or more like quarter Jewish being that she celebrates Hanukkah with her family but she always spends Christmas with us being that we buy presents for her despite her not celebrating the holiday. We instead decided to meet up at Havana Brews after I finished up here. Speaking of that, I soon jumped back. I soon said,"Sweet Imprisonment!".
Ten sharp looking turquoise ,candy syrup, grenade shaped bombs came out of my body being that I soon threw them toward the grunts. The bombs soon captured the grunts being that I kicked them to the sides. "Okay boys and girls, I really do hate bothering you but I'm looking for someone. You guys must know about Herald right? He has an accomplice being that the two of them have stolen some tech and I'm looking for it." I said.
I soon walked toward Frankie being that instead of running away, he was currently sipping some booze. He looked the exact same as he did in Episode 49. "So when are you going to tell Agent Phoenix about you being alive? She still thinks you're dead." I said with me grabbing a nearby chair and I soon sat down. "And why should I? I didn't have to spend any of my cash on taxes for almost three years now so I ain't complain." said Frankie.
I sighed as Frankie said,"So what are you doing here kid? It's Christmas and most people spend this time of year with family and all that junk. You just finished up my new place of business after you and that walking candle Carlos destroyed my last one.". "Simple Frankie. I've heard you know who Herald was working with." I said. "I see. So why don't you use your powers on little old me to make me talk?" said Frankie.
I rolled my eyes as I said,"Honestly, it would be a waste of my time. You'll tell me what you know about the Jack O Lantern or else.". "Or else what? You're going to knock me out or using your powers on me? I'm so scared." said Frankie in a mocking tone. The two of us soon turned toward the entrance of the bar being that a guy was standing there. "Hey Frankie. Happy Holidays. Give me three to one on.... It's Zero! See you next year Frankie!" said the guy.
He was soon gone as Frankie soon looked at me. I soon floated into the air as I said,"I'm going to be around here more often or any other place that you own Frankie. I'll be like your favorite decoration except you can't get rid of me that easily.". "Fine. I'll talk. According to what I heard, Herald was working with someone by the name of Mystic." said Frankie. Before I could say anything, Athena said,"I'm on it Zane. Lets see what else Frankie has to share.".
Frankie said,"He's like that Slicer chick being that he uses real magic. I think it's called Animus but to me, it's magic. It's also not that fake crap that Occult uses being that clown has been seen since you beat him when you came back from your hiatus. The two of them were hired along some of the goons in Cypress Park and some construction workers to build some weapon. After the boss is done with them, their minds were erased clean of what the weapon is and where the boss's secret base is.".
I raised an eyebrow as Frankie said,"That sounds crazy but we live in a world of superhero so that shouldn't be strange to you. Happy hero?". While he was telling me this, I soon saw that there was a person in the bathroom. Upon seeing me, he soon ran out of the building through the back. "Thanks Frankie. I hope you don't get too much coal this year." I said. I went toward the entrance as Frankie said,"Aren't you going to clean up your mess?'.
I turned to him as I said,"Nah. Happy holidays.". I soon flew out of the bar being that I soon began looking for the runaway thug. "So are you being a dick to Frankie because you need to get out some frustration or what?" said Sivarth. "Yeah but Frankie totally had it coming. I mean he's been running an underground betting ring involving metahumans for almost two years now. He totally has enough money to clean the place up." I said.
I soon activate Locate being that I soon found that guy being that he was only a few blocks away so I could easily catch him. "Sometimes Zane." said Twilight. I soon stood in front of the guy being that he soon fell to the ground. "So why were you running away from little old me? I'm your favorite Zero-Claus after all and why would you run from a Claus?" I said. I soon looked over him and he was shaking in fear. "I'm not going to hurt you so calm down." I said.
Kane said,"So are you trying the whole good and bad cop routine? It really isn't working for you Zane.". I soon ignored the Vulcorian being that I took note of the guy's appearance. The guy was in his mid 30s with brownish-orange hair and green eyes. He's wearing a black wool cap, wearing a black wool jacket, gray shirt underneath, brown jeans, and brown snow boots. "You should know that I'm not working with Frankie." said the man.
I crossed my arms ,while floating, as I said,"So why you there?". "It looked interesting. The name is Joe." said Joe. "Okay Joe. Do you happen to know anything more about Herald and Mystic's boss being that despite Frankie being a known liar, he wasn't lying about the mind erasing." I said. "I got something. There is a rumor about the boss having the name of Mastermind and apparently, he looks like that one criminal from two years ago." said Joe.
Cole said,"So who is he talking about? Read his mind Zane!". "I think that guy's name was Emperor but I could be wrong about that Zero." said Joe. "Emperor?" I said. "Emperor. He was a friend of your father's right?" said Twilight. "He was but after he tried to take Natasha as his wife, he was not on the family Christmas card list." said Kane. "Thanks for the info Joe." I said. I soon flew off as I could hear Joe thanking God for me not hurting him.
I smirked as I soon flew toward Havana Brews. I didn't know that I would be soon finding out about Mastermind. After I finished up with my friends, I brought some Christmas decorations from a shop nearby. I soon went into an nearby alleyway and I soon opened up a portal to Terrarune. The portal soon closed behind me being that I soon flew off toward an abandoned section of Terrarune to vent out my frustration. This is how I met Holiday Guardian.
Narrator P.O.V.
Unknown to Joe and possibly Zane, a drone had been watching their conversation. The image taken by the drone was being transferred to an unknown location somewhere in Cypress Park. Donald aka Engineer was watching them through a monitor. He touched his ear as he said,"Mastermind. Zero is finally coming after us. Shall we get started with Phase 1?". "Yes. Are those two fools ready to pick up the goods? I suspect Homer is getting rather impatient." said Mastermind's voice.
Donald nodded as he said,"Yes. I have him and Herald heading toward Heartstone and those two plus Mystic are outside of Thunder Cove. Shall I have them round up our all-star roster?". "Yes. This will be our hero's last Christmas in Cypress Park." said Mastermind's voice. The doctor soon pressed a button as several monitors showed the pictures of the villains Cosmonaut, Downpour, Herald, Homer aka the Hunter, Mystic, Steamroller, and Voltaire.
In Terrarune, Zane ,while in costume, stood on a asteroid being that he was holding a red bag that was overflowing with Christmas-themed goods being that some items stuck out. It was a teddy bear that was dressed like Santa, a string of tangled up Christmas lights, and a singing snowman. "So are you sure about this? I mean we should a find a different way to vent." said Twilight. "Yeah but this is the best way I can think of at this exact moment." said Zane.
Nearby by the teenager, there is a city hall like building floating. In front of the building, there stood two stone dog statue on either side of the staircase. The top of the roof reads,"HG". This is the domain of the Holiday Guardian, a level 9 Phantom and the guardian of the holidays. Inside of the city hall building, there is a massive library being that several books were floating around. In the middle of the library, a Phantom stood there.
He’s very tall and has a hunched back. He has large arms and legs with a rather thin chest, making him stick out. He has goat horns that were sticking out of his head and his face looked stitched up. He has messy black hair and red eyes. He has pointed ears. He's wearing a black ,with the inside being gray, trench coat that went up to his ankles, a blue, brown, and orange patchwork style shirt with it having a scarecrow type pattern, white scarf, red pants, and pointy elf like shoes.
The Phantom said,"It seems that the Omniverse is enjoying the Holiday like they should be! This is going to be the best holiday season yet!". He soon picked up on something as he said,"What is this? There is a disbeliever of this time of year? That's impossible.". He soon opened the door and he flew out to find that disbeliever being that as he went toward it, Zane aka the disbeliever had just finished blasting apart the singing snowman.
Zane said,"That felt good. Lets do it again!". He soon threw a set of three ornaments into the air being that he blasted one with fire, one with electricity, and the last one with ice. Zane let go of the bag being that he soon threw all of the items out in front of him. "Karmic Glare!" said Zane, charging up Mojo within his eyes. He soon fired the beam of energy toward the items being that all of them were destroyed in due time.
Zane said,"I actually feel better. I don't hate Santa but I hate the holiday. I really don't get why people like it so much but hey, I can enjoy destroying anything relating to it!". He soon noticed that some of the items were spared as he smirked. He soon focus Green Nether into his arms as he said with a grin,"Time to end this holiday joy for good!". "You're sounding like a villain Zane. Are you going to be alright?" said Cole.
Sivarth said,"Let him vent Cole. He'll be fine once he gets his frustrations out and it's better for him to do this on things that can't fight back.". Zane blasted apart a candy cane, a large fruit cake, gingerbread cookie, toy reindeer, and a tin soldier. He soon saw a little elf doll floating away as Zane said,"Okay. You've been chosen to die in by my Primordial Ordnance!". He soon began charging up Primordial Energy, making a giant bomb.
However, the Phantom from earlier soon held the doll as he said,"And what are you doing here? I see that a child has lost their favorite elf. I should return before I go.....". Before he could finish his sentence, he was soon blasted back by the giant bomb. He watched the elf doll being completely eradicated. The Phantom was shocked by this action as Zane soon floating toward him. "Sorry about hitting you but you were holding my target so you were caught in the crossfire.".
The Phantom soon glared right at Zane with him saying,"You were using that elf as target practice child? Why would you do that?!". "Because I hate Christmas and elves are kinda connected to it so I don't really care." said Zane with a shrug. "You must be the disbeliever!" said the Phantom. "The disbeliever?" said Zane. "My name is the Holiday Guardian and I punish those who hate the holidays." said HG.
Zane said,"And why are you telling me this? I mean I just destroyed some stupid elf and some other holiday crap so right now, I'm in an awesome mood.". "What?!" yelled HG. "I hate this time of year because of the crowds, the holiday cheer, and a whole lot of crap. Christmas is the worst time of year and even through Phantoms celebrate it, I came to Terraurune in order to vent out on my anger. If you could make some Holiday crap, that would be great." said Zane.
HG growled as he said,"You are the worst being I've ever met being that you make villains look nice because they at least care about the holidays! Everyone in the Omniverse should love this time of year.". "Well I don't so just deal with it." said Zane, crossing his arms. HG soon floated to right above him with him firing a giant beam of Holiday Nether which is green, red, and white. Zane easily dodged it and he said,"I think you're going to be fun to beat the crap out of.".
HG soon looked down on Zane as he said,"I think I know what to do in order to make you see the greatness of the holidays.". "Leave me some Christmas Crap so I can destroy it?" said Zane. "No! I shall make you see the greatness of the holidays!" said HG. Zane began dodging several beams as he said,"Sorry but I tend not to do what others tell me to do.". Zane soon turned into Atomic Form with him flying toward HG.
HG smiled being that he soon trapped the robot in a Christmas Cage. "Why can't I get out?!" said Zane, with him trying to break out. "Child. My power is much more than yours since all beings in the Omniverse are celebrating the holidays in their own ways being that I'm growing stronger thanks to their support. A hate filled child like you needs to learn your lesson and I'll be your teacher!" said HG. Zane soon disappeared with HG laughing manically.
The next day, HG's voice said from offscreen,"Greetings. This is the story of how Zero found his joy and love for the holidays just like everyone else. Everyone should love this time of year and this includes the hero's rogues. In fact, lets head over to Thunder Cove Detention Center where some of his best villains spend their time.". Inside of Thunder Cove Detention Center, it was the time for breakfast being the prisoners were getting holiday themed gruel.
HG's voice said,"You know what's great about holiday gruel? It makes you feel the joy and warmth you feel this time of year.". The cells to the main wing of the prison soon opened as the guards ordered the prisoners to head toward the cafeteria. However, some of them weren't listening being that it was Cosmonaut aka Craig Quinn and Herald aka Everett Goodman. A guard soon walked into their cell as he said,"Quinn! Goodman! Breakfast!".
The two didn't respond as the guard said,"You leave me choice.". He soon swung his baton toward Craig being that it went right through him. "Crap! The warden isn't going to be happy about this. I'm thankful that you're real kid." said the guard, shaking Everett. However, Everett soon fell apart being that it was a machine. The guard freaked out as an alarm went off throughout the prison. The guard soon ran out as he heard,"Lockdown! Downpour, Sahara, Steamroller, and Voltaire escaped!".
Back at the Alvarez household, it was cheery being that the house was decorated for the holiday season. All members of the family were cheery except for Zane who was miserable due to Holiday Guardian. Zane woke up as he growled loudly. "Seriously? I'm still in this Christmas hell. For fuck sake, how the hell do I get out of here and don't tell me it involves me letting that holiday themed asshole win?" said Zane.
Zane soon heard,"Zane Alvarez hates Christmas and the holiday season a lot so I placed him in a constant time loop being that he's been repeating Christmas Eve twenty four times until he sees the joy of the holidays just like the rest of his treasure.". He soon turned toward his TV being that he soon saw a form of Holiday Guardian's face as the Phantom said,"And yes, you do have to say that I'm right your highness.".
Zane growled as he said,"Screw you! I'll get out of this nightmare and make you pay for putting me in it!". "Zane. I'm begging you. Just go along with this mad man." said Kane. Since the group of Athena, Cole, Kane, Sivarth, and Twilight were connected to Zane, they were forced to repeat the day as well. Zane slaps himself in the face with all five fingers open and peels it off, stretching his eyes and cheeks. "I don't negotiate with terrorists Kane." said Zane.
He soon walked toward his shower as Zane heard,"You're quite stubborn you know. Most people usually learn their lesson by the first go around and mainly in those bad Christmas romantic comedies, they get by the twelfth time around. It's for a theme you know.". Zane soon turned to see Holiday Guardian in his bathroom mirror as he said,"Be quite grateful that I've left you your freedom so just follow the crowd instead of being a thorn in everyone side.".
Zane crossed his arms as he said,"Yeah. That ain't happening you holiday pain. I may be lashing out at others being that it comes with hostility but I really can't just forget about the pain and suffering I went through. I thought my dad was dead for two thirds of my life and this time of year reminds me of that pain. He may be alive but I'm not forgetting that pain.". "Such a stubborn fool. Good bye for now and good luck with the Battalion." said Holiday Guardian.
Zane P.O.V.
I sighed with annoyance as I entered my shower. You heard that holiday pain right. I along with my team have been repeating Christmas Eve twenty four times being that after I defeat the Battlaion, the day just resets back to the way it was. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong except for pissing off the apparent god of the holidays. He's one of the strongest Phantoms alive being that Hourglass and Spiro would have some trouble with him but his main power comes around the holidays.
I finished my shower as I headed downstairs to get some breakfast before my morning patrol. "Hey cos. How are you doing?" said a voice. I turned to the kitchen table to see Tara sitting there. She was on Winter Break and like with every year, she's here for Christmas. Before I became Zero, I usually ignored everyone around me being that I hate this time of year and boy, that hasn't changed one bit thanks to the Holiday Guardian.
I heard,"I'm sure that you think that telling Tara the truth about your problem will help but it will not so try something else.". "Screw you. I've been repeating this day twenty four times now just because I hate this time of year." I said. "Which is a really bad thing since everyone should love the holiday." said HG. "And for some reason, I'm the only one who can hear him. You can't force people to like this time of year you know." I said with my arms crossed.
Tara looked at me with confusing being that like the previous attempts, she and everyone else was under that Holiday monster's control. I also need to come up with a name for this Phantom because I've made so many in the past twenty four days or is it one day. "So why are you always moody this time of year anyway? I mean for the past couple of days, you've been acting way out of character partner." said a voice.
Sly flew into the room with Tara saying,"Zane is in his usual Holiday funk Sly. He's been like this since I've known him. Even before his dad went to the Infinite Void, his first couple of Christmas didn't end up so well. He was kicked in the face by a reindeer when he was a kid being that both Kurt and Lucius soon took care of that bad reindeer.". "Seriously? What did you do to make it kick you in the face?" said Sly.
I sighed as I said while pouring a glass of holiday eggnog,"Well, I kept calling it different names like Rudolph and Donner. He really didn't like that.". "I see and why are you drinking?" said Sly. "It's five o clock somewhere plus I really need the booze." I said. "Anyway. I think I know the answer to your problem Zane." said Tara. "Is it murdering that scarecrow?" I said. "No. You should just pretend to be happy and enjoy the holiday just like you were going to." said Tara.
I scoffed as Sly said,"Didn't you say that you were going to end your hatred of Christmas with you and not let it affect your kids who are really looking forward to tonight?". "I did but then I pissed off the wrong guy. I'll be back later tonight." I said, putting on my coat. "And where are you going?" said my cousin. "To do some patrol and then skating." I said. I soon turned intangible and into my Zeta costume as I flew away to stop two crimes that I've stopped twenty four times.
Narrator P.O.V.
Zane was flying over the city with Athena saying,"Zane. I know that all of us are pretty much trapped in this limbo because you're stubborn but can't you just let HG win?". "You know why I can't do that Athena. I said to him before, I don't negotiate with terrorists." said Zane. "He has a point Athena. I mean Zane may be stubborn but he's our stubborn idiot. I really don't think we should let Holiday Guardian win either." said Cole.
Sivarth said,"For once Cole, I agree with you. That Phantom thinks that he's unbeatable but he hasn't confronted Zane once since we've been stuck in this time loop.". "So why are we flying to the crime? I mean the last couple of times, we've run there." said Twilight. "I just needed to clean my head. I love how peaceful it is up here and trust me Twilight, I'm trying to spice things up because it gets boring going through the same routine." said Zane.
Zane's hearing soon picked up on someone yelling,"Hey you dam bastard! You cut me off!". "Screw you fat bastard! I need to pick a crappy kid for my toy!" yelled a second man. "And duty calls. While I handle the two tantrum-throwing toddlers in over sized toy cars, do you guys mind coming up with a plan to stop Holiday Guardian without me submitting?" said Zane. "We're on it." said Twilight as Zane flew down to the surface.
On the surface, two cars ,one car was blue and the other car was red, were trying to get ahead of each other being that the red car cut off the blue car. The driver of the blue car yelled,"Hey! Who the hell taught you to drive?!". "Go to hell, you piece of....." said the red driver. The blue driver soon drove his car into the red car as Zane flew toward them. "And here I thought that this time of year was about brotherly love not brotherly violence." said Zane.
The red driver yelled,"Are you insane?!". "You're a dam freak!" yelled the blue driver. "I just paid this car off and you're going to total it!" said the red driver. Because of their fighting, the two didn't see a group of small children ,about Zoey's age or younger, walking across a crosswalk being that they were from the Cypress Park orphanage. The two cars were about to hit them but they were soon stopped by Zane who had transformed into Atomic Form.
Zane took a breath of fresh air as he heard the kids awing him with the orphanage employee's saying thank you. "Didn't that feel good Zane? I think you're...." said HG. Zane drowned him out as he soon saw the red driver get out of his car with him having a bloody nose. "What the hell is wrong with you dam tin bastard?! You broke my dam nose!" yelled the man. "Two things. Watch your language because they are children present and watch where you're driving." said Zane.
Zane pointed to the kids as he said,"And you almost ran over these kids just because this guy cut you off or whatever happen. Act like an adult rather than a child.". He would yelled more at the guy but right now, he was just done. However, the red driver didn't listen. "You totaled my car!" said the man. "You were going to kill these innocent kids!" said Zane. Despite being much smaller than Zane, the man soon glared at him.
The man said,"You better use your powers to fix my car right now or else, I'll....". Zane soon paused time with his vambraces as Twilight said,"Aw. I thought you were going to break this guy's arm but I guess you don't want these kids to be scared huh.". "That was my plan but I have a better one so just watch." said Zane. The robot soon moved the kids and employees onto the sidewalk being that the only people left in the street were the angry drivers and Zane.
Zane soon moved the unconscious driver aka the blue car owner out of his car as he soon aimed his hands at the two cars and they were glowing green. He soon made the two cars fuse together and then creating a Christmas tree. "That's sweet Zane. I'm touched." said HG. "Screw you. I wasn't doing it for you but these two numbskulls." said Zane as he unpaused time. The blue driver soon threw a fist at Zane being that Atomic Form is made of metal.
The man yelled out in pain,"You hurt me!". "No I didn't. You punched me so I think this is your karma biting you in the but good sir." said Zane, shrugging his shoulders. The kids giggled and adults laughed at the man being that his face was getting red. Zane soon heard the police siren with him saying,"And there's the part of karma good sir. Have a happy holidays everyone!".. Zane soon flew off as the red driver soon saw his car and well, he isn't having a good day.
Zane ,who was now out of Atomic Form, was talking with Scott while flying toward the petting zoo as Scott said,"Zane. I've got to say that I'm impressed with how you handle these road rage idiots. I totally thought that you were going to break his arm.". "Well, I'm the hero after all. I mean they were going to run over those orphans just because one of them cut the other off. So I have to ask. Are men angrier drivers at the wheel or what?" said Zane.
Scott sighed as he said,"You'll be shocked Zane but it's about equal last time I checked. I remember what Karen said to that guy during driver's ed. It scares me. You did a really good thing about not losing your cool on those two.". "Those two were going to kill innocent people so if I did hurt those two, would you be mad at me?" said Zane. "A little but I'll get over it. So how is the search for the escaped prisoners?" said Scott. "No clue but I'll be seeing them sooner than later." said Zane.
Scott said,"Anyway, are you planning to talk with my daughter about the kiss? She and you haven't been talking right?". "Well, we kinda do when we're at the lab but I've been so busy with so many other things. Don't worry Scott. I plan to talk with her at the ice rink once I stop by the petting zoo which I'm getting close to." said Zane. "Thanks Zane but why are you heading to the petting zoo? Is it dad duties? I remember when I went there with Karen so many years ago." said Scott.
Zane shook his head as he said,"According to the polices database, some teenagers have been known to harass the wildlife plus I overheard about a rally being held there. Apparently, it's about if Santa is real or not?". "He isn't right? I mean since I've gotten to know you and your world, anything that seems impossible may just be possible." said Scott. "I don't know but I'll tell you if I do. Later." said Zane. He hanged up on Scott as Zane said,"So what's the update on taking down HG?".
Cole said,"We've come up with about 10 plans so fast and we're currently running them through a simulation. So do you want me to check if Santa is real or not? You're curious right?". "I'll look it up later. Tell me if anyone changes and also when I'm supposed to be at the ice rink. I need to repeat the same events but in a different way each time." said Zane. He was soon descending toward the petting zoo as Zane said,"Time to get revenge on the deers.".
At the Cypress Park's Petting Zoo, a husband and wife ,maybe, were arguing using a megaphone and in between them, a ,fake but to the kids, he's real, Santa sat there in his chair. They were arguing at Santa's workshop being that the children wanted to tell Santa what they want for Christmas but these two numbskulls were arguing. "I've told you this a million times but Santa isn't real! It's been proven that no vehicle cannot travel the globe in a single night!" said the woman.
HG's voice said,"Actually, she doesn't know about the Omniverse as a whole because there are cars in some dimensions that race along planets. It's quite interesting if I do say so much but the man soon bellowed as he grabbed the megaphone from his wife's grip being that Santa was quite annoyed with this bickering couple.". "You're wrong! Wrong! Wrong!'" said the man being that the reindeer nearby them were spooked.
Before the wife could say anything, the megaphone was soon grabbed by webbing. "Sorry but I have to stop this bickering feud. These kids have been waiting oh so patient to sit on Santa's lap." said a voice as the couple looked up. Zane floated about them as they shouted,"Zero!". "Yeah. I'm here to stop you from spooking the reindeer. I already have to stop some teens from doing so and you're being a real jerk to these kids." said Zane.
The kids agreed with the superhero as Zane heard,"And you're now defending the existence of Santa to this ignorant woman.". "So Santa is real?" said Cole. "Well my artificial friend, he is and he's a real pain in my ass." said HG. Athena took note of this being that she was soon making a plan involving Saint Nick. "With Zane stopping the feuding couple in their tracks, I decided to make this a hundred percent worse so lets make these reindeer rampage!" said HG.
Zane and the crowd soon saw the nine reindeer floating into the air being that they were covered in an holiday themed glow. "They're flying mommy!" shouted a young boy. However to his and the other kids's shock, they soon transformed into Phantom Reindeer. They were now green reindeer being that they had spiked chokers, fangs, and wide, gold eyes with one of them having a bright red nose. "By the way Zane, his name is Rudolph. Get it?" said HG.
Zane rolled his eyes being that he wished that he could hit the Phantom pain but he was pretty much the god of this time loop so he couldn't really do anything but he would like to be proven wrong. The reindeer called Rudolph soon roared like a monster being that the child was cheering soon screamed with the crowd running away as Zane stood there. "So Zero, what are you going to do about my nine evil deer? You wish to know their names don't you?" said HG.
HG said,"I don't care if you don't because I'm going to tell you. One is named Ghostly, one is named Phantasm, one is named Bone Crusher, one is named Clobber, one is named Hacker, one is named Savage, one is named Death Hooves, and the last one is named Uncle Lou. Despite the last one not sounding so bad, he's actually the most deadly one of the bunch except for their leader Rudolph!".
Zane soon dropped the megaphone under the big Christmas tree as he soon flew after them. "While our hero chased after our group of Phantom reindeer, he was making sure that he didn't cause anyone to get hurt because that would be just the worst." said HG. Zane soon sprouted nine pairs of arms as he sent them toward the reindeer's antlers. Zane was soon been dragged by the group of reindeer being that Zane said,"Lets get you guys away from here!".
He soon made a web lasso as he tied it around Rudolph's neck since he was leading the pack. The Phantom didn't like this being that he soon tried to shake Zane off along with his brothers but Zane wouldn't let go. The group of reindeer and Zane soon crashed into a group of carolers being that as Zane passed them, he said,"Sorry!". Zane soon looked in front of him as he said,"Time to get you guys somewhere you can roam peaceful!".
Zane soon opened up a portal to Terrarune being that he soon let go of the deer being that the group soon went inside as Zane stopped himself before crashing into Santa's workshop. Zane soon looked around as HG said,"Thank you for not letting those reindeer destroy the Christmas spirit around here young king. I guess you're starting to see things my way. I mean you did let them destroy the petting zoo once or twice so I guess you're better than you were before.".
Zane rolled his eyes as the crowd thanked him with him saying,"I hope you folks have a happy holidays or would it be a merry Christmas? PC culture is so confusing.". Zane soon ran off being that he was moving through Cypress Park at an incredible speed. He was heading toward the ice rink as he said,"So what's up now?". "Most of the plans failed but we're not going to give up." said Kane as Sivarth nodded.
Zane said,"Okay but why? I mean you guys have told me at least seven times to just listen to this wackjob's demands which by the way, I'm never doing.". "All of us are stubborn Zane being that you're the most stubborn. So are you ready for your fight with the Battalion?" said Sivarth. "It will be easy Sivarth. I mean I've fought them......" said Zane. He didn't finish his sentence since he soon entered a portal that appeared from out of nowhere.
HG appeared with him saying,"Where did Zane go? He was here and then that portal showed up from out of nowhere. I can't seem to connect to his Nether. So what was this the work of him? It can't be. I'm sure that he doesn't know about my plan to teach Zane a lesson. He'll be back and well, I'll be making things interesting for Zane when he comes back.". The Phantom was soon gone as Zane was somewhere else.
Zane P.O.V.
"...like twenty fours time now so I should be fine." I said. I soon stopped being that like whenever I entered a portal or teleport away not of my creation, I puked. After recovered, I soon looked around being that I was on the Universe Path I think. However, I couldn't see the spheres that would contain the other dimensions plus my dimension aka the biggest sphere. Before I could do anything about my current situation, I heard,"Welcome to the beginning of the Omniverse.".
I soon turned around to see the supposed creator of the Omniverse ,being that he's God, floating behind me. Despite most depictions showing god as a human, this guy wasn't human at all being that he looked like an older version of Astral Form mixed with Brawn Form. He's about ten feet tall being that his skin looks like the night sky filled with stars. He has short black hair being that it was a buzz-cut and he has greenish white eyes with pupil-less eyes.
He's very physical fit for his age ,I think, being that he has a long beard that went to the center of his chest. For his clothing, he's wearing a gray robe being that it exposed his arms. He's holding a silver staff being there is a glowing Earth-shaped orb between the spikes. He's wearing black pants under his robe and brown shoes. He soon looked at me being that he said,"Hello there. My name is Eltron and what is your name?". "Zane. Do you mind if I call you Tron?" I said.
Eltron looked at me being that he soon said,"I don't mind at all Zane. Despite us just meeting, it feels like we've been friends for eons.". "Yeah. So where am I?" I said. "The planned spot for my creation being that it's going to be host to several different species and several different dimensions." said Tron as he floated next to me. "So how old are you? I mean I'm sure that you're older than Hourglass Universe, Leif, Sivarth, and Skull Plague." I said.
Tron looked at me as he said,"Very old. I'm a Phacoris being that I'm the only one of my kind. It isn't because they died or anything. I was just born all alone.". I was pretty much shocked because before today, I've only heard about Tron from Leif and Hourglass during my training. My team would have said something but for some reason, my connection with them was cut. I later learned that during my conversation with Tron, they were coming up with my plan to end this Neverending Christmas.
They would be shocked by this being that Tron later introduces himself to them. "So Tron, do you know why I'm here?" I said. "Honestly, I have no idea. You must be the future since I'm guessing that you're a creation of my creation." said Tron. "That's real funny but that's pretty much impossible and yet, I'm in the past and interacting with the past." I said. "What do you mean? Could I have some clarification?" said Tron.
I soon said while me sitting down,"One of the Omniverse's core law is the idea of time travel being that you can travel either backward or forward in time. You cannot mess with the events of the past or bring anything from the future to the present. This is a law because Hourglass Universe finds it's a pain to deal with that kind of crap. If you break that law in any way, you'll be punished by her or another guardian of time. I'm kinda one but at the same time, I'm not.".
Tron nodded as he said,"That's a good idea for my Omniverse. So what else do you want to know about me Zane?". "What is a Phacoris? I've never heard about your species before." I said. "I'm a cosmic being being that your home or the Omniverse is something that I've been working on for a long time now." said Tron. "So what do you have planned for the Omniverse?" I said. "Well, do you have time to spare?" said Tron.
We soon talked for what seems like hours being that during this, I had a couple of ideas about how to stop Holiday Guardian. When I mentioned that Phantom, Tron guessed that he was causing me some problem and I said that he was a pain in my ass. Tron soon told me to ignore my problem for now and to just watch his Omniverse being created. I soon agreed with Tron because I wanted to see how the Omniverse was being born.
Tron did this by focusing Impulse ,which is a source of energy and like with the Omniverse, Tron is the creator of it, into the center of the Omniverse. I'm pretty sure that this was the Big Bang being that upon seeing it, I could never forget it happening. Tron soon made the Prime Dimension being that I said,"That's my home.". Tron nodded as I watched the other dimension following suit. Tron soon looked at me as I said,"What's up Tron?".
Tron said,"Zane. You have Impulse in your body.". "I do?" I said, looking at my hands. "You do and I need to train your new power before you got back to your time." said Tron. I would have said no but do you really think that pissing off the guy who could easily destroy me and Skull Plague is a good idea? "This will be quick Zane because you need to get back home." said Tron. I soon watched him make a planet for us to train on.
Like with our talk, we trained for hours being that it was one of my best training. The planet itself had gravity 100 times stronger than Earth. After we finished training, I soon watched Tron destroy the plan. I pretty much mastered Impulse. While doing that, I also improved Akmo Sombonda, I was able to use Archon Zero's ability to hit his opponents from incredible distances outside of activating Archon Zero (Base or Master).
I really liked that ability and wanted to use it more. I was also shoved into a bottomless pit being that both sides of the pit were covered in spikes and I had to get out of there using Gravity Dive while the pit was closing around him thanks to Tron. During my escape, I asked Tron to throw several boulders toward him which I dodged. I finished the training by doing 1 million push-ups, sit-ups, and squats plus a 1 million kilometer run and flight. We soon left by a portal when Tron made.
Narrator P.O.V.
On a rooftop looking over the ice rink, Tron and Zane ,with him his winter casual outfit instead of his costume, soon appeared. "So this is the future of my greatest creation? This is very interesting my good friend. So are you....." said Tron, turning toward Zane. Zane was puking as Tron said with concern,"Are you okay Zane?". "Yeah. I'm fine." said Zane. Zane soon looked down being that he could see his friends down there. "I'm kinda jealous of them Tron." said Zane.
Zane soon said,"They aren't stuck in a stupid time loop like I am so why haven't I seen that Holiday Bastard yet? I mean I'm not saying that I like him but well, I need to make him pay for pissing me and my team off just because I don't like the holiday.". Before Tron could answer Zane, Zane soon heard,"Zane! What happened to you?!". Zane soon looked down at his watch as Tron said,"So this is your team? It's nice to meet you nice folks. My name is Eltron but you can call me Tron.".
Tron explained to the team about what happened to Zane and how he witness the Big Bang up close and personal much to their shock. "I'm pretty sure that this new power will help all of you defeat this Holiday Guardian Phantom." said Tron. "Seriously Tron?! That's the best news I've heard the past twenty four days." said Kane. Despite them getting pretty much sick of December 24th, the five of them still like Christmas.
Zane on the other hand disliked the holiday and Holiday Guardian being he hated the latter the most because well, he mad Zane mad. "So are you going to answer my question Tron?" said Zane. "Yes. Since you left the Prime Dimension, you're free of the time loop and HG's control over your life. I wish you all good luck being that I'm going to rebuild that planet where we trained Zane. See you soon." said Tron. Tron was soon gone as Zane cheered. "We're free! Thank the holy Tron!" said Cole.
Athena said,"It's a good thing that you're lucky Zane. So I'm sure that Holiday Guardian will try and make your life miserable but with every repeat, we learn a way to prevent too much damage.". Zane nodded as Twilight said,"So do you want me to take control for now?". "Yeah. That would be nice. I need to rest for a bit." said Zane. "Don't act too weird. We can't have the others noticing." said Sivarth. "I know what I'm doing." said Twilight.
Afew minutes later, Twilight ,who was currently in control of Zane's body, was skating among the teenagers being that the Vordalin soon watched David lift Hannah up into the air and twirl her around like a princess, setting her down, and going off again. "That's still weird no matter how many times I see it." said Kane. Twilight soon jumped into the air being that like the previous twenty four times, a larger than normal human slipped on the ice and was about to crash into Zane.
Twilight skated backwards as Susan ,who watched the whole thing, said,"Wow Zane. That was some expert dodging.". "What can I say? I've dodged guys like him for a semester so you should expect me to pull some acrobatic feats of greatness." said Twilight who was mimicking Zane's voice. "Shouldn't we try and make him not look too good?" said Cole. "That ship sailed a long time ago because of Zane's football career and has Zane's snark down good." said Sivarth.
Twilight shook Zane's head as he soon saw Kristen tying up her skates's laces and stepping onto the ice. "Is there anything you can't do perfect Zaney?" said Kristen. "I think being able to like this time of year is really hard for little old me." said Twilight. Kristen soon grabbed Twilight/Zane's hand as she said,"I think everyone's favorite tutor needs a lesson about how to love Christmas.". "Yeah. I've been getting that lesson for the past twenty four days." mumbled Twilight.
Kristen ignored her boyfriend's mumbling being that she knows about how Zane acts this time of year so this was normal to her somewhat. Meanwhile, Karen was watching the two skating being that she knew that Zane and her needed to talk being that she didn't want to. Before she could do anything else about it, she soon heard grunting. Most of Cypress High soon saw an injured Brad trying to stand up on one leg. His right leg was in a cast because of his injury.
Kristen skated over to him as she said,"Are you alright Brad?". "Do I look alright to you?!" said Brad with anger in his voice. Kristen lead him to a bench as she said,"Sorry Brad.". "It's fine Kris. I'm just being a dick like I was. Sorry for interrupting your thing with 51." said Brad. "So I heard that you've started physical therapy." said Kristen, trying to change the subject. "Sure have." said Brad. "Well, I think that's just good you know. I mean you'll be back to normal real soon." said Kristen.
Brad said as Kristen sat down next to him,"And college scouts will be busting down my doors is what you're going to say right? To be honest, I'm thankful for this cast.". "So what do you mean by that my dear captain?" said a voice. Brad and Kristen knew that it was Zane being that it wasn't Zane but his symbiotic partner Twilight. She and Kane could do a pretty good Zane and well, Zane would do this even if they weren't stuck in a time loop since he and Brad are friends now.
Kristen said,"Zaney? I thought you would have said something about us finishing our skate.". "Nah. I may be a dick but on Christmas Eve, I tried to be a supporting guy. So what did you mean by that captain?" said Twilight. "I've told you what I wanted to do after college right? This is my chance to become a hero like Zero. I mean just today, he stopped a group of Phantom reindeer and some pretty bad road rage." said Brad.
He was smiling as Kristen said,"And you're smiling. That's good Brad.". "Words of advice 51, don't break any bones. Kris here loves to be the supporting nurse type." said Brad. "Gotcha captain." said Twilight. Kristen soon looked at the boys as she said,"It's still weird seeing you two being friendly but I guess working together on a team changes things.". Twilight put Zane's hands behind his head as she said,"It sure does Kris.".
Meanwhile, Donald was walking with Homer and an upgraded Voltaire. You may be asking why the electrical girl has gotten another costume change. This is because of weird reason that I can't exactly explain but it's more of the fact that I change my mind constantly. She's an extremely beautiful with ghostly white/whitish blue/chalk white skin and a voluptuous yet athletic body. This is shown with her toned broad shoulders, buxom breasts, long legs, and pink lipstick.
Her hair is still living and moving electricity. It was still golden yellow ,being that it styled like an undercut, with only a magenta tint to it rather than the blue and green tint that she had before. Her eyes are still bluish white with no pupils to them at all. She's wearing a magenta ,skin tight, suit that was leaving her shoulders bare along with her most of her abdomen and chest. She's wearing a spiked choker with a lightning bolt going through it.
She's wearing tight magenta arm sleeves that went almost up to her shoulders being that they had electricity covering them being it looked active. She's wearing a horned golden crown being that if she wants, her face is covered by a mask but she doesn't. She's wearing black opague tights with a white lightning bolt pattern and black high heeled boots. "All of you know each other but some of you don't so lets do a quick recap. Hunter and Voltaire, meet the rest of your team." said Donald.
The two villains saw the group of Cosmonaut, Downpour, Herald, Mystic, and Steamroller with Craig having a new suit. So many changes. Spoiler alert, there will be one more change, revealing at the end of the story which will change to the entire world of Zero. You'll see what I mean by that but lets get back to the story. Craig is now wearing a brown aviator's flight jacket being that his body are covered in steel body armor that wouldn't slow him during flight.
He's wearing his signature XJ-100 Rocket Pack ,being that it's a black and light green color with a silver trim, with the two giant mechanical wings except they were much sharp. The feather/knives can also be thrown toward a target, being that they are replaced within seconds. His body armor has a blue circle in the chest plate. Instead of his silver helmet, he's wearing a re-enforced helmet being that it covered his entire head.
He has two glowing ,blue, lenses being that they can zoom in on his target. His goatee suck out. His armored boots and gauntlets now have talon likes blades on the end of them. With a single look at Homer, Roger scoffed. "Do you have a problem?" said Homer. "Not really. I'm just more confused about your whole being. Are you animal or machine? Did the doctor do this to you?" said Roger as he was crossing his arms.
Homer said,"I'm the Hunter that will hunt down Zero being that he stole from me.". "The hero stole something? You must be wrong about that hard." said Roger. The two were about to fight as Donald said,"If you two would focus, I would like to introduce you to our leader Mastermind.". The villains soon looked up a monitor being that a outline of a human/shadow soon appeared there being that his appearance is a mystery.
Mastermind said,"It seems that all of you have meet. This is good. The Battalion is reborn but this time, we'll be victorious.". "Were any of you guys on the previous team?" said Harvey. "Not to my knowledge." said Herald, juggling some pumpkins. "And I'm just here at tech support." said Donald as he shrugged his shoulders. "Focus gentleman and lady. This group will be perfect so do any of you have questions?" said Mastermind.
Craig said,"While I'm thankful for you freeing me from jail and upgraded my suit, what do you want us to do?". "It's simple really. We're going to end the age of heroes and begin the age of villains. We first need to get rid of our ever changing pest." said Mastermind. "And who would that be exactly? I mean is it Zero?" said Roger. "You're correct Downpour. It is Zero. Show them the footage would you Donald?" said Mastermind. "Sure thing." said Donald.
The villains soon saw Zane being that he was fighting in his Zeta Costume or his forms. They took note of when Zane used Twilight to either change his appearance or when he made some weapons appear from his body. "Okay then. He changed his outfit for like the thirtieth time. I mean I've done it too so why should we give a dam?" said Clair. "We'll crush him like a bug and I'll get back what he's stolen from me." said Homer.
Mystic rolled his eyes as he thought,"Does he seriously think that a hero stole something? What a easy to manipulate fool.". "Do not let down your guard Hunter and Voltaire. Everything will work I promise you all. So are you ready to get vengeance on the boy who wronged you?" said Mastermind with all eight villains getting ready to fight Zane. You may ask what happened to Sahara since she broke out with them. She's currently with Andrew so that's what happened to her.
Back at the ice rink, it was soon night in Cypress Park being that the bigger than needed to be Christmas tree's light soon light up. Everyone admire it being that Brad smiled from his seat on the bench. He saw Kristen looking at Zane ,who now had Kane in control of his body, talking with Karen as Brad said,"So are you and 51 dating? I mean he's been flirting with other girls for a good month or two and you've done nothing about that. You used to get super jealous when I did that.".
Kristen looked at her ex as she said,"It's complicated.". "Uh huh. So what do you think she and 51 are talking about?" said Brad. "Since when are you curious about Zaney's love life?" said Kristen. "I'm bored okay. So how are David and Hannah? I've heard from Austin that they had a fight." said Brad as Kristen sighed. "Despite Zaney's effort to break them, it seems that fate is breaking them up as well." said Kristen. "Ah. Fate is a bitch isn't it?" said Brad, talking about his injury.
Kristen smiled as she said,"It is Brad but sometimes, things happen for a reason.". "You're weird you know that Kris?" said Brad. "Yeah I am but lets get you out on the ice QB." said Kristen. Before Brad could say anything, the duo of Austin and David grabbed him. "Sorry but not sorry Brad. Kris asked us to make sure you have fun and we're going to do that." said David. "Yep!" said Austin. Kristen soon watched the two skated away with Brad.
Nearby, Kane and Kristen were skating. "So Karen, how are things with you?" said Kane. Karen was quiet as Kane said,"You know that I like you right? I mean I may flirt around but you and the others girls have my heart. Thank the gods that you're not giving me the look.". "I'm sorry!" said Karen as she pushed his chest. "For what exactly?" said Kane. "For not talking to you about our kiss. It's just that I know we're dating now but it's so...." said Karen.
Kane said,"Is your answer magical, spectacular, or something else?". "Something like that. I know that you've made a good attempt at trying to get us to just talk and I've been avoiding you like the plague." said Karen. "And it's kinda my fault too. I've been really busy being that I'm busy with the internships, family stuff, and my job as Cypress Park's number one protector." said Kane. "So how about we arrange a date?" said Karen.
Kane pulled out Zane's phone as he said,"Let me see if I'm open.". Karen looked at him as Kane said,"It isn't my fault! I'm really busy because I got so many prioritizes. Thank the gods for my ability to multitask right?". Karen smiled as she said,"Just send me a time and I'll make plans. See you later Zaney.". Karen soon skated over toward Kristen being that the cheerleader was watching the jocks help Brad skate without breaking his leg further.
Kane soon heard someone skating up to them as he heard,"And here I thought that you would be skating on black ice but you're not like normal ladies man aren't you?". Kane soon turned around to see Rachel as he said,"Hey. I'm not a betting man but you probably heard our conversation.". "We did and it was so romantic. It was like we were in one of those romantic movies." said Rachel. "I aim to please." said Kane.
Rachel looked at Kane with her saying,"Are you alright Zane? I mean you would normally be a total scrooge but you're being your normal self. I like that.". "Yeah Rae. I'm fine. I just decided to move forward not backwards. You can't change the past no matter how powerful you are. However, I can never escape the pain that I feel around this time of year." said Kane. "Okay then. I'm happy for you Zane." said Rachel. "Thanks Rae." said Kane.
Rachel said,"Here's some advice. You're my best ,male, friend and unlike most guys I know, you've got focus. I'm thankful that you don't get distracted by girls or other problems in your life. You're kinda lucky that all of the girls are so open to sharing you because if I liked you like they do, I don't think I could share you. Zane. You should focus on what you want to do with your life and have complete focus to it.".

Let me do it. I can get the perfect hot cocoa within seconds so just wait here you guys. I'll be back in a flash." said Kane. Kane was soon gone as Rachel said to herself,"So was he faster than normal? I can't tell.".
Above them, Cosmonaut was flying around the area. "He isn't here. Are you sure about this?" said Craig. He was speaking to the rest of the Battalion through a headset that's in his helmet. "Yes. I can smell him." said Homer's voice. "Okay. It's time to bring out the bait for our hero." said Mastermind's voice. "I'm on it boss man!" said Clair's voice. Nearby the ice rink, Kane just bought five hot cocoas being that he soon hid four of them inside of Zane's pocket dimension.
He knew that someone was going to bump into Zane being that this happened before and he needed three for a quick recharge later. Someone was about to crash into him being that Kane dodging it by sipping his cocoa. "Sorry but that won't work on me." said Kane. Crisis Judgement went off as Kane said to Zane,"It's show time Zane. Ready for the plan?". "Yeah." said Zane. Zane soon took control of his body as he ran off.
A bolt of lightning soon slammed down onto the rink. As the smoke cleared, Clair stood there as she said,"Zero. Come out to play!". Despite her being attractive, everyone was running away from her due to her being a villain. She was missing people on purpose being that she was told by her boss to hurt the people that Zero was sworn to protect. "Come out and face me like a man you annoying son of a...." said Clair.
The electrical being was soon hit by turquoise candy syrup ,which soon covered her entire body upon contact with the sugar, as she heard,"Wow. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?". Clair soon saw Zane ,in costume, floating above her and she soon broke out of the candy syrup. "Die!" yelled Clair as she blasted Zane. "And I get told that I need to watch my language." said Zane. Zane soon turned into his candy syrup form, negating the electricity.
Zane soon began dodging Clair's thunderbolts with him saying,"So Clair. Does your new costume give you better aim or were you always a bad shot?". Crisis Judgement soon went off as Craig was heading toward Zane, ready to strike. Zane soon jumped over Craig and blasted him with Crimson Red Nether. Craig soon recovered as he said,"Curses! I thought I had you!". "Nope. So are you two together? Did you meet through Prison Date? It's the best prison dating website." said Zane.
Zane soon landed on the ice rink with him looking at Clair who was going to fry him and Craig who was about to slice him. "Okay Clair. I didn't expect you to go for someone so old." said Zane. "My name is Voltaire!" yelled Clair. She soon fired a massive blast of electricity right at Zane being that Zane dodged it and a barrage of them. "Hey Cosmo. It seems like our favorite pain isn't completely focused on us." said Clair.
Craig said,"You're right my dear. I think we should make things interesting.". He soon flew toward a group of people being that before he could hit them, Zane warped toward Craig and kicked him back into the air. "Did he just warp?!" thought Kristen and Rachel. "Sorry fly boy but you're not allowed down here without a pass which you don't have." said Zane. Crisis Judgement soon went off as Clair slammed her fists into the ice.
This sends several waves of electricity toward the people still on the ice being that Zane needed to get everyone off the ice or stop Clair. Zane soon jumped over Clair with her sweeping Clair off her feet with a leg sweep. This stopped the electrocution as Zane jumped toward a pole. "Hey fly boy and Sparky! Whose up for a game of follow the leader?!" said Zane. "That won't work on me!" said Craig as he fired a wave of knives toward the people.
They couldn't move thanks to Clair's early attack but much to their joy, Zane caught all of the knives with his telekinesis. "Everyone! Off the ice! It's superhero/villain skate aka no humans allowed on the ice!" said Zane. Anyone on the ice was soon off as Craig began flying around Zane. He kept dodging all of Zane's Nether blasts being that as Zane was trying to hit Craig, Clair was trying to hit Zane as Sivarth said,"Remember what Rae said earlier about focus.".
Zane nodded being that he soon had a sphere of steel gray energy in his hand. "If a barrage of tiny shots won't get you, lets see what one really big one can do. Impulse Burst!" said Zane. He soon threw the sphere toward Craig being that the flier soon stopped his flight for a second. "And I got you now Craig!" said Zane. Zane soon jumped toward the top of the Christmas Tree with him slowly turning into Psychic Form. For its appearance, check out Fairy Legion Chapter 11.
He soon grabbed Craig being that he was unable to move. "Let me go now!" said Craig. "Yeah. How about no?" said Zane. He soon slammed Craig into the tree being that he soon made the lights go around Craig being unable to move. "For a bad guy, you make a really good ornament." said Zane as Craig broke out using one of his wings. "Don't worry Cosmo! Voltaire gots your back!" said Clair as she fired a massive stream of electricity toward the tree.
Craig yelled,"No you fool! I'm almost....!". The electricity hit the tree, causing Craig to be shocked and the tree burst into flames. Zane soon reappeared behind Clair as he said,"And here people call me a Christmas hater. I may hate this time of you but you destroyed a Christmas tree. You two are going to be on the naughty list for a very long time.". The trunk of the tree was falling toward the rink with Craig not being so lucky being that he was going to hit the ice face first.
Brad soon pushed Kristen from the tree being that he was expected to be crushed but he wasn't. He soon looked around him to see that he was on a rooftop with Zane. "Thanks for the assist Zero. So could you sign my cast?" said Brad. "In a moment Bradley. I still have Sparky." said Zane, with him pushing Brad and himself toward the ground. They evaded an electrical blast with both Clair and Zane leaving the scene.
Zane ,still in Psychic Form, was flying away ,using telekinesis, from Clair being that she was trying to hit him but missed. Zane soon teleported onto a taxi as he said,"Okay. I got sparky off the ice so I need to calm her down.". Crisis Judgement went off as Clair ,hanging off a bus, tried to blast Zane with electricity being that they missed. "And here we are." said Zane. He soon jumped over a fence as he saw a lot of tires. Clair was right behind him. "You can't escape me!" said Clair.
She looked for Zane as she heard,"So you'll be chasing me to the ends of Earth right?". Clair soon began blasted piles of tires in order to draw Zane out. Clair's face was soon covered in a web being that she soon saw Zane ,out of Psychic Form, stuck to a wall. "Hey Clair! I hope you don't mind being my target for the next couple of minutes." said Zane. He soon began kicking and punching tires toqard Clair with her smiling.
Clair said while blasting away the tires,"Is that all you got brat? Pathetic.". "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." said Zane."You'll run out of tires and you'll be....." said Clair. She was unable to move thanks to the ground being covered in melted tires. "And to add the piece de resistance mixed with a little bit of tar." said Zane. He soon aimed his hand toward the ground being that it soon glowed steel gray. Clair soon watched the ground around her glow as Zane said,"And now become tar!".
It soon turned into tar being that she was unable to move. Zane landed nearby her as he said,"You look just great in your Christmas coat or is it coating? What is that? It can't be destroy unless you're able to break through a building. I guess you'll be staying around for a while.". Crisis Judgement soon went off as Zane jumped up a giant fist of water. A burst of water appeared from out of nowhere as it formed into Roger.
Roger smiled as he said,"Hey there Zero. Don't take it easy just because you defeated Sparky and Fly Boy.". Clair screamed in anger as Zane said,"I don't think Clair likes you using that kind of language around her.". "I don't really care. They were the first round." said Roger. Harvey soon appeared as he said,"And we're round two!". He soon charged toward Zane being that he evade the charge and soon landed nearby a car, setting it off.
Zane covered his ears as the duo of Harvey and Roger soon went toward Zane. Harvey broke through the fence and Roger went through it. "And you two are back together. Your fans must be so happy about that." said Zane. "Cute. You ain't going to be cute for very long." said Harvey. "And here I thought that going to prison means you get smart and strong. I guess you skipped that class because you sound dumber than well, you normally do." said Zane.
Harvey roared as he charged toward Zane. Zane soon activated Hyperion Mail being that he caught the musclehead and threw a good distance away. "Hey! That's cheating!" said Harvey upon crashing into the ground. "All's fair in a fight Harvey." said Zane. Zane was soon grabbed by a giant Roger with the water man saying,"Hey Harvey! This is fun right?". He soon threw Zane toward Harvey being that Harvey smacked Zane back toward Roger.
Roger soon threw Zane toward Harvey being that a bus went past Harvey. "And this time, his but is getting kicked!" said Harvey. He soon threw Zane toward a bus's front window. He turned intangible as Zane phased through the window. "Sorry about this folks. We've got rampaging supervillains just down the road and they're such a pain." said Zane. He soon phased through the back of the bus with him soon landing in the middle of the street, stopping traffic.
Zane shook his head as he said,"Okay. Those two working together wasn't a problem before when they were human but now, it kinda is.". "I know that you're in deep thought Zane but you may want to start moving." said Twilight. Zane saw several cars being thrown at him by Roger who was currently two giant arms and hands. Harvey stood there as he said,"Keep him busy. I'll make him for being a pain to us.".
He soon charged right toward Zane as the teen smiled. Several pieces of metal ,matching the color of Hyperion Mail, appeared from Zane's body. They formed into cannons as Zane's arms were covered by cannons. All of the cannons were slowly charging up with energy with them all firing an energy beam right in front of them. The beams soon combined to a gigantic beam which slowly engulfed Harvey due to him being caught in the middle of it.
Harvey was soon send flying down the street and right into a building. Roger soon reformed back to normal size and he yelled,"Hey! You were supposed to be squished!". "Sorry but why would I want to get by a thrown car?" said Zane. The two villains soon chased after Zane being that he was flying away. "Come on guys. I mean isn't this time of year about forgiving? You guys do know about forgiving right?" said Zane, landing on a wooden dock.
He soon saw Harvey and after dodging Roger's not so secret attack aka a punch, the two villains said,"With you, nope.". Zane soon dodged Roger's attacks ,which was multiple punches, as Harvey said,"Once we're done with you, I'll be placing your pelt over my fireplace.". "Dude. You're sounding like that weird furry." said Roger. "I know but that will be the best present right?" said Harvey. He was about to punch Zane but Zane phased through his attack.
Zane blasted Harvey back with Black Mojo. "So how about you just tell me who you really are under the mask before we end you?" said Roger. Zane soon slammed his hand into Roger's face with him leaving behind a piece of metal inside of the water man. This soon trapped Roger in a metal wrapping paper as Zane said while landing on a boat house,"Sorry there but I don't think Santa would like you looking at your present early.".
As Harvey was trying to get Roger out of his prison by trying ripping away the metal covering his partner in crime, Athena said,"May I suggest using that to handle Roger?". "That works but what about the rampaging Harvey?" said Cole. "It's simple Cole. Harvey needs a really big bath." said Zane, pointing to the water nearby him. He soon opened a locker being that as Roger was free, Zane soon aimed his right arm toward the water man and fired a nanochip into him.
It’s a black ,diamond shape, nanochip with a crimson red computer circuitry pattern. "Time for you to start playing in the snow." said Zane as Harvey watched Roger change into several different forms such a living water snake to a water wheel. "What did you do to him?!" yelled Harvey as he charged at Zane who opened a scuba locker. He soon punched Harvey in the face and then smacked him with a scuba tank.
Zane then backflipped onto the frozen water as he said while smirking under the helmet,"It isn't that important Harvey. I just implant a nano chip into him being that he'll be doing some posing for the next couple of minutes. You want to help your boyfriend right? Come and get me.". Harvey soon jumped onto the ice as he said,"You're dead!". The ice soon cracked around Harvey as Zane handed him the scuba tank. "Merry Christmas Harvey from me to you." said Zane.
Harvey looked at him and he said,"I hate you so much.". He soon began sinking into the water. Zane was soon on land as he said,"So where are you Roger?". Crisis Judgement went off as Zane soon dodged Roger's Ferris Wheel of water. He was still under the nano chip's control being that Zane soon thought,"Lets make Roger chill out.". He soon froze Roger and was unable to move. Zane deactivated his armor being that he said,"And two more are down. Whose left?".
Kane said,"We know who's left. Don't pretend like you don't know. We've done this twenty four times now. Lets just find pumpkin head and jungle man.". "You're not fun you know that." said Zane. He soon spotted them ,being that they were on a nearby rooftop, as Twilight said,"It's a good thing that our costume can detect illusions huh?". "Yeah but we have a feline to take care of." said Zane. He soon jumped toward them with him activating Ram Form upon landing on the ground.
Zane soon jumped over Homer's punch as he kicked the beast right toward the ground and onto the pavement. The feline shook his head with him soon jumping over a truck. Zane soon landed as he said,"And here I thought that you were a solo act. I guess you need help to hunt me down and working with my villains is a step I didn't see coming.". "I'll do anything to get back what you stole from me!" said Homer.
He soon charged at Zane being that Zane jumped over Homer. Before Zane could land a counter attack, he soon dodged a pumpkin. He soon looked up to see Herald floating above Homer. Zane soon jumped away being that the villains began chasing after him. "So what does he mean by that Zane? Did you steal something this guy?" said Cole. "You know that he didn't Cole! We're with him most of the time so we would have saw him. Homer must be crazy." said Kane,
Sivarth said,"Zane. Once we take care of Herald and Homer, what happens next?". "No clue Sivarth. I mean once I defeated Herald and get a chance to talk with him, HG shows up and restarts the day." said Zane with him jumping over one of Herald's pumpkin bombs. "How about since we're free from the time loop, we do some investigating of Homer using Fairy Form." said Twilight. "That's a good idea." said Athena.
Zane nodded at the two females suggestion as he said,"Yeah. I mean they're coming in pairs to try and kill me being that they come right after the other. I could ask help from my friends but I'm more than capable to handle them. I'm also sure that Mastermind is involved in some shape or form.". "That sound correct to me. He wants a chance to kill Cypress Park's guardian hero but he'll learn what happens when you do." said Kane.
Zane was on the top of a billboard being that the billboard was showing Santa Claus drinking a hot chocolate. "I always kinda feel bad whenever this happens." said Twilight. "I do too but I imagine it's that holiday bastard and it makes me feel better." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane barely dodged Homer who broke the billboard. "I'm going to hunt you down because you stole them." said Homer. "I'm so scared of a hunter who needed help to take me down." said Zane.
Homer said,"They are a means to the end. The pack weakens the prey and then the leader strikes down on the prey, ending their life.". Homer soon jump toward Zane being that he was prepared to pounce Zane into the concrete. Zane however saw this coming being that he kicked Homer in the face being that the hunter soon went flying toward another rooftop. Zane looked down at Homer being that he could sense pumpkins coming toward him.
Zane soon dodged them as Herald arrived. "You cannot escape us!" said Herald. Zane saw that he was nearby the mall as he said,"I sure can try and by the way, I think you're a little too late for the Christmas party.". Zane turned into Cartoon Form being that there were several of them within seconds as the prime clone shouted,"Scatter!". The clones soon scattered around the area as the two villains chased them down.
Inside of the mall, the shoppers were doing some last minute shopping as the Prime Clone soon came into the perfume department. "Ha! They'll never think to find me here!" said the clone. He soon felt his fellow clones dying being that Homer was heading toward his location. "Okay. Time to use that super sniffer against him." said the clone. As the prime clone felt the last clone die, he soon turned back into Zane as he heard Homer's roar.
Homer spotted Zane being that he jumped toward him. Zane spotted a woman holding a bottle of perfume as he said,"You smell great lady so could I borrow that for my really hairy friend? He's been having trouble collecting mates lately.". The woman screamed as the bottle of perfume went flying through the air. "I'll take that as a yes." said Zane, catching the bottle. Just as Homer was about to finally touch Zane, Zane smashed him with the perfume bottle in the face.
Homer whipped off the perfume as Zane said,"So what do you smell now jungle man?". The room was soon covered with dark blue smoke as he heard,"It's too early for you to gloat Zero.". Zane soon saw the duo of both Herald and Mystic. "Okay. I'll leave that to you guys. So who are you? I know the holiday reject. So why do you remind me of that reject wizard Occult?" said Zane. Zane soon dodge Herald's pumpkin barrage being that Mystic held his hands in front of him.
Zane noticed that his body was producing several dark blue glitch-like pixels as a barrage of small goblins came rushing toward Zane. "Kill!" chanted the goblins. "Sorry but I have to ruin that little plan of yours." said Zane. He made Stormbreaker appear in his right hand and for a quick reminder for all of you, Stormbreaker is an obsidian black ,made out of a metal that looks like steel, staff. It’s a Escrima Stick.
Once a goblin got close to him, it was destroyed by the staff. Zane soon threw the staff toward Mystic being that just before it hit, Mystic disappeared. "You missed!" said Herald. "You should know that I can cast my magic from a far distance after I gave my staff a little bit of my Animus so taste my Forest Emperor Bulldoze!" said Zane. Before Herald could do anything, a giant tree soon appeared below him and grabbed him.
He tried to get out of the tree's grasp being he was soon slammed into the ground and dragged the target into the ground. Herald was about to get up and fight once again only to be stopped by Zane who said,"Sorry Herald but Halloween is long over.". He knocked out Herald being that before he could escape again, he was soon trapped to the ground by candy syrup. Zane soon looked around for Mystic being that the dark blue smoke gave him away and also the maniacal laughter.
The superhero jumped onto the second floor with him hearing,"Foolish hero. You've may have gotten the rest of my partners but you've failed like always.". Zane soon found Mystic standing next to the mall Santa and one of his elves, being rather silent. Zane soon jumped toward Mystic, getting ready for a punch being that Crisis Judgement went off. Homer was about to tackle him but Zane turned intangible being that the hunter slammed into some display presents.
Homer soon recovered from his failed tackle being that he roared at Zane. "And now, we're back to roaring." said Zane. He soon made his claws appeared being that the two went back and forth, with both of them waiting for the perfect chance to strike. "Get out of there now you fool!" yelled a voice as Zane looked behind him. Mystic was back down on the main floor as Zane said,"If you're here, I'm going to guess that you're a clone aren't you faker?".
The Mystic didn't say anything as Cole said,"I don't think he's a real clone being that I don't detect a single trace of Animus in him. When you use Duplication, there is a faint trace of Animus in the clone but this clone doesn't have anything.". Crisis Judgement went off as the Mystic Clone began to shake back and forth. "Uh oh. Time to get out of here now." said Zane. He soon jumped over Homer and he grabbed Santa and his elf. "Time for us to leave." said Zane.
The three were soon gone as before Homer could track Zane, the Mystic duplicate moved back and forth faster. "I really hate technology." said Homer. The Mystic duplicate soon exploded, causing the entire floor of the mall to be covered in smoke. The fake Santa's Workshop was pretty much gone as Zane plus the Santa and elf reappeared. Zane soon finds the knocked out Homer and he soon freezes his body in place.
Zane said,"I may not be a big fan of Christmas but him and his pals are on the naughty list for sure right Saint Nick?". The Santa shrugged as Zane said,"I'll take that as a yes.". Mystic soon looked toward the smoke as Zane soon stood there on a railing. "Okay then you rejected magician. You're the final one of your little group left right?" said Zane. "And I'm the strongest one!" said Mystic as the man was dark blue smoke covered his body.
Zane soon raised his left eyebrow as Kane said,"Does he seriously think that we're rookies or what?". Zane slowly nodded as he said,"Astral Sense.". His eyes soon turned to a noticeable and bright molten gold color with two magic circles in front of him. "Found you." said Zane. He soon jumped down onto the main floor being that he soon rushed toward Mystic's location. Mystic soon appeared as before he could do anything, he was punched in the gut by Zane.
Zane soon turned his right arm into candy syrup being that the sorcerer was unable to break out of it being that Zane said,"Now lets see who you really are. I'm pretty sure you're not Old Man Jenkins but who knows?". He soon took off Mystic's balaclava and mask to reveal that it was Occult Master but slightly different. His light green skin is now pale white, silver hair turned steel blue with his bangs curled upwards, and he still has his pointy beard and mustache combo.
Zane said,"So what happened to you Occult? You've got actually magic and not that fake crap like before. What changed?". "I've gotten an upgrade unlike my former partners." said Occult. "I know about Mastermind and that he's brought back the Battalion. It doesn't take a telepath to figure out that so what is he planning?" said Zane. "You'll soon found out and don't worry Zero. It'll be worth the wait." said Occult. "I would feel bad for doing this but I don't." said Zane.
Later, the Police soon arrived at the mall to see that Occult was wrapped in candy syrup and looked to be wrapped up like a Christmas Present. One of the officers soon noticed a letter nearby the tied up Occult being that the other officers on sight was getting Occult placed into a squad car. The letter said,"Have a merry Christmas and the rest of the holidays, Legion Zero. Make sure to put on the power negation cuff on Occult or his new name Mystic. He has real magic.".
Back at the ice rink, the police were currently trying to return the tree back to where it was before as a worker hooked a rope onto the crane. Scott stood there as he said,"Be careful men. Cosmonaut is still down there.". Behind him, the trio of Karen, Kristen, and Rachel stood there with both Karen and Kristen worried for Zane. "Don't worry. I'm sure Zane is fine." said Rachel. "Yeah. I mean it's just seven villains. I could easily take twenty at once." said a voice.
The trio turned around to see Zane standing there with him holding four hot cocoas. "You would not believe the lines. It took me five minutes to....." said Zane. "Zaney!" said Karen and Kristen as the two skated toward him. The hot cocoa spilled on him as he said,"Yeah. That happened again.". "Sorry but why didn't you ask for help? I mean all of them were trying to kill you." said Kristen. "I can handle the Battalion." said Zane. "Really? It looks like you were being pummeled." said Rachel.
Zane said,"I let them get a couple of pot shots in okay? I ain't a god yet.". "I'm happy you're safe but I thought that you were under that tree or dead." said Karen. "I'm not Karen and I don't plan on dying anytime soon. I love you, Kristen, and the rest of my Harem so I'm not going to leave I..." said Zane as he was interrupted. "He's gone." said Scott. The four looked over to the police being that upon the tree being lifted, there was a giant hole where Craig was supposed to be.
Zane P.O.V.
I was currently walking down at the stairs back at home. I had just gotten out of the shower being that Athena informed me that all of the members of the Battalion except for Mystic escaped being that I was wondering if that was the handiwork of a secret eighth member of the Battalion or Holiday Guardian messing with me. I was wearing my sleepwear being that it's a black long-sleeved shirt with my superhero logo "LZ" in the center of it. I'm also wearing gray comfy pants and black slippers.
I walked into the living room being that I could see my three children looking over the group of presents, trying to decided which one to open first. In our family, we have a tradition. On Christmas Eve, we could each pick a single present from any family member to open up. I saw Ana and Tara sitting on the couch, talking. The family pets (Kania, Nexus, Sly, and Wolfram) were sitting nearby the fireplace.
I looked around to see that my mom and my dad were missing as I heard,"So you're finally back to be my puppet aren't you?". I soon turned toward a mirror to see Holiday Guardian in the reflective surface. "Sorry but I needed some space. You're too clingy." I said. I walked into the kitchen as I saw Kurt and Lucius, sipping egg nog. "Hey little brother. Guess what?" said Kurt. "You're not plastered on Christmas Eve?" I said.
Lucius said with a smirk,"You know that both he and Dad love to drink and unlike Dad, Kurt has a better way of dealing with it.". "Yep. Thanks fire powers. No but seriously Zane, guess already. This is pretty big." said Kurt. "Does it involve you in some way?" I said. "Nope. Lucius is here going with Ellie to Church soon." said Kurt. "Seriously? That's great. I mean she seems nice from what Brad told me but he was under pain killers so I'm taking his words with a grain of salt." I said.
Lucius said,"Yeah she really is nice. I can see myself having a future with her and beside, I can't let my little brother get ahead of me in the romance game.". "You really can't. So what about you?" I said to Kurt. "Don't worry about me little bro. I've got a plan." said Kurt. "He does know that he actually has to talk with a girl right?" I said. "Hey! I talk to girls all the time." said Kurt. "Women who hired us don't count." said Lucius.
My two brothers argued aka teasing each other as I heard HG's voice,"And I'm sure that you're enjoying this amazing holiday aren't you?". "Not really but you can think that." I said, sitting down on the chair next to the dogs. I began petting Nexus's fur as Tara said to me,"So are you feeling better Cos? I mean you were a grouch this morning.". "Yeah. I'm feeling much better. So where's mom and dad? I thought they would be here." I said.
I turned to the fireplace being that I saw my mom and dad coming down the well decorated fireplace with Wolfram shocked to see them. Natasha wiped off the ash from her as she said,"So tell me why we were testing the fireplace again?". "Because my love, we have to make sure that Santa can visit our house. I mean how else is he going to get into our house." said Shawn. "Through the front door like a thief would do Dad." I thought.
For that comment, Twilight pinched me lightly as Zoey said,"So will we be able to hear Santa and his reindeer land on the roof daddy?". She and Uriel looked at me with me shrugging my shoulders. "We will Zoey but if you stay up for him, you won't get any presents." said Kurt. The two older brothers joined the rest of the family as I smiled. "So do you like lying to the people who call you family despite you hating the holiday that they love." echoed HG.
I turned my head to look outside being that I was getting sick of hearing this bastard's voice. I was going to take care of him for sure but I needed to wait for the rest of my team to come up with a plan being that Impulse was critical. I soon looked outside to see the snowman that me and my kids made earlier before I got into my holiday funk. He had four arms and three eyes being that we made a alien or Phantom snowman who'll protect us from the evil Snowmen.
HG's voice echoed,"You're steaming and fuming under your calm facade. Your blood pressure is getting higher and soon, it'll explode. Zane, I can also feel your oh so infamous rage going to the surface and there is nothing you can do about it.". I soon saw the alien/Phantom snowman's face turn into Holiday Guardian with him smiling. "You're annoying you know that?" I said. I turned back to my family as I thought,"I'll just ignore him. Yeah I can do that.".
HG's voice said,"I prefer the term loving.". I soon began ignoring him as Kane said,"So why haven't we ignored him the past twenty four times?". "We did the first couple of times but I think he got under our skin around attempt 15." said Sivarth. I slowly agreed with him as Nexus said while he drank some milk,"I'm kinda confused. How can Santa fit down a chimney? He's rather large right?". Wolfram nodded as Kania said,"It's simple if you think about it.".
Nexus soon looked confused as Atem said,"It's because he's a Sorcerer like you and dad right Grandpa?". "Correct. He's one of the best in fact." said Shawn. "Are you drunk grandpa?" said Uriel in her blunt tone. Ana giggled as she said,"Nope. He's sober Uriel.". I smiled as I could hear Holiday Snowman heading toward me. "So do you think that I'll just leave? Our game doesn't stop until you're in love with Christmas!" said HG.
I turned toward him with my eyes glowing red. "That glare would scare me if I didn't have the power of the holiday by my side. You'll be free once you become like everyone else in the Omniverse." said HG. "I still can't believe that I'm saying this but I will to get through your thick as hell head. I don't like Christmas and that may have changed but after I had to repeat this dam day 24 times, I'm not a fan." I said.
The snowman turned back to normal as I decided to get some air. I walked toward the door as I was stopped by my kids. "Where are you going daddy/dad?" said the trio. "To get some air. I'll be right back I promise. By the time, I get back. Pick an awesome gift." I said. I left the house being that I wasn't lying to them at all. I really needed to get some air and well, I was going to explode on them if I stayed any longer.
I put my hands in my pants's pocket with Twilight saying,"So do you need your coat?". "I'll be fine. I mean I'm a walking furnace." I said. As I wandered through Cypress Park, I could see the holidays everywhere I went. It didn't take superpowers to know that every family was enjoying their time together. I sighed as I thought,"Why the hell can't I move on? I mean I have my dad back but I still hate this time of year.". I soon left the residential area.
After walking alone for twenty minutes, I soon found myself in the park and sat on a nearby bench as I pulled out my phone. I knew that my family would let me have my space despite them wanting to include me. I could tell that Christmas wasn't for me. As I finished texting my friends to have a happy holiday, Crisis Judgement went off. The wind around me started to pick up and the Christmas lights started to go out. "Okay. This is new." I said, standing up.
I soon heard carolers singing being that it was a new Christmas carol and to be honest, it wasn't very good but I ain't a judge of music. "You've been a bad little boy so you better change your ways soon rather than later. Better not make me mad or you'll be getting punished." said the voice as I figure out. "Okay. So what in the nine realms is going on?" I said. "I don't know but be careful." said Athena. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure standing under a lamppost.
The light soon revealed Holiday Guardian as he said,"Because the Holiday Guardian isn't very forgiving toward the non-believers.". "So you finally came to face me like a man?" I said. He was soon gone being that I jumped backwards and right into the snow. HG had warped to right in front of me as I said,"Wow. I never realized how ugly you are.". HG soon pointed at me with his lone, boney finger at me as he said,"You're a major pain you know that Zane Alvarez.".
I smirked as I said,"If I had a nickel for every time I was told that, I would be very rich. So why are you here? Aren't you going to make everyone hate me or something?". "Nope. I was going to steal everyone's presents and put the blame on you but that changed. You lack the Holiday spirit and you must be punished." said HG. "Isn't it Christmas spirit?" I said. "Nope. It's Holiday spirit since I don't want to offend anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas by singling them out." said HG.
I rolled my eyes as I said,"Whatever. Look, I'm not causing anyone around me to hate Christmas or the holidays now am I? Plus I'm going back to celebrate it with my family and friends.". I didn't get an answer being he soon rushed toward me and laughing all the way. I was shocked by this being that he knocked me onto the snow covered ground, pinning me down. "I'm not a fan of being pinned by guys and goblins so get off!" I shouted.
I released an shockwave of Animus from my body being that HG was sent flying back. "It's a good thing I remembered that Phantoms don't like Animus like how I don't like the holidays." I said as I turned into Legion Zero. HG recovered as he said,"Even with all of those powers, you can't stop me from making you see the truth about how this holiday is the best!". I charged toward HG, planning on ending this curse no matter what.
Narrator P.O.V.
Upon getting close to Zane, Zane was soon gone being that the Phantom looked for the Cross-Species but was soon roundhouse kicked in the head by the teen. Zane soon stretch his right arm back as he said,"Sweet Punch!". He soon punched HG in the stomach being that he was sent flying away. The hero soon flew right toward the Phantom being that while heading toward him, his left arm was slowly growing bigger. "Avalanche Punch!" said Zane.
HG was soon punched directly into the ground, causing a massive crater to appear. HG soon got back up without a noticeable scratch on him. "Do you honestly think that you can defeat me on today of all days?" said HG. "As you already know, I'm pretty stubborn." said Zane. HG soon had an idea as he said,"I'll be following in Mastermind's footsteps. Why fight you myself when I can have my minions fighting you.". He snapped his fingers as he was gone.
Zane growled as he said,"Dam it! Where did he?". He soon heard something coming toward me as Cole said,"Zane. We have company.". Zane soon turned to see a giant nutcracker heading toward him with an army of angry looking snowmen. The nutcracker had large black boots, white leggings, and his suit is red. "You don't stand a chance against him." echoed HG's voice from within the nutcracker as Zane only smiled.
Just before he was about to be stomped, Zane turned intangible. He evade the stomp being that Zane flew up toward the soldier's view. The giant soon swiped at Zane being that he soon grabbed Zane. "I got you now!" said HG. "Yeah. That's what I wanted you to do." said Zane. Before HG could figure out what Zane meant, Zane turned into Bone Form. The bone like form soon pierced the soldier's hand as he screamed out in pain and dropping Zane.
Zane was going to fall onto a car, mostly likely activating the alarm but Zane stopped himself with two bone like staffs. Zane landed on the ground being that the nutcracker were going to stomp on Zane as he said,"And here I thought that you would learn your lesson.". Zane fired a bone at the foot being that it pierced the boot. The nutcracker screamed in pain once again, falling onto his but and destroying some of the snowmen in the process.
As the giant recovered, Zane shouted,"And you're going to have try hard.". The snow army soon rushed at Zane being that the teen made two bone sabers. "This is going to be fun." said Zane as he rushed toward them. He began slicing apart the snowmen, left to right. The giant soon fired a ray of Holiday Nether at Zane who was fighting off two snowmen. Crisis Judgement went off as Twilight made two hands ,looking like Specter Form's hands, and made a black Nether shield.
This blocked the soldier's attack as Zane said,"Do you honestly think that this can stop me?". He soon stabbed a snowmen being that he threw two massive bone spikes toward the soldier. The two pierced his chest, sending him into the ground. Zane soon rolled up to the giant's head as he said,"I hope you have something better than that.". HG ,who came from inside of the nutcracker, smacked the lizard away and the Phantom said,"I'm just getting started.".
Nearby the fight, Brad was sitting on his couch watching Christmas specials while Andre and Tony were decorating the tree. "Hey you guys." said Brad, turning away from the TV. "Don't say it bro. I don't want to hear it. You're injured so you can't help." said Andre, with him wearing a Christmas hat as he placed an ornament on the tree. "But I...." said Brad. "Brad. You need to rest. I mean we were lucky that Zero was there at the ice rink." said Tony.
Brad said,"Yeah. He's so cool.". "It's kinda weird to see you have a crush on him. I'm pretty sure that Zero likes girls just like you. Speaking of girls, weren't you going to that party hosted by that Sam girl?" said Tony. "No way dad. I wouldn't miss out on any family traditions." said Brad. Before they could say anything else, the window nearby the tree shattered as Zane ,in Bone Form, came crashing in with five living snowmen standing there.
The boar shook his head as he said,"Okay. I'm really hate snowmen right about now.". He soon looked around to see the three looking at him as he said,"Merry Christmas? Sorry about this but I'll need your living room.". "We got it. Kick these buts." said Andre, picking up his brother from the couch. "And sign my cast!" said Brad. The three Anderson men were gone as the snowmen entered the house. "I hope I'll be able to." said Zane.
He deactivated Bone Form with him soon grabbing a snowman. He soon threw the snowman into the roof, causing it to splattered all over the ceiling. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane dodged a snowy swipe being that Zane soon threw the man into the fireplace, causing the snowman to scream in agony as it was burning alive. "Wow. That was graphic." said Twilight. Zane soon made a massive ball of Nether with him throwing it right at the snowman.
It was completely destroyed and before the other two snowmen could do anything, they were soon hit by a giant red Nether snowplow. Zane soon made an arm come out of his back and head toward one of the snowman's head. He soon smashed the head directly into the other one's head, causing two decapitated snowman. After taking care of the snowmen, Zane looked around the house. "I don't think it would be very good to leave this place a mess right?" said Zane.
He soon went extremely fast, fixing the room to how it was. Before he could do anything, Zane soon turned to the Christmas tree. "Son of a bitch." said Zane. The Christmas tree soon came to life being that it had solid, angry red eyes and a jagged looking mouth. It soon sprouted arms and legs being that it soon rushed toward Zane. "Okay. We're taking this outside!" said Zane. He grabbed the tree and phased through them through the house.
The Andersons men soon saw the perfect looking living room as Andre said,"Wow. He really cleans up.". "Yeah. Zero hates property damage." said Tony. "Um you guys. Where's the tree?" said Brad as the three heard screaming. They soon looked outside to see several living Christmas trees and snowmen chasing after Zero with Tony saying,"Wow. That kid isn't having a good Christmas eve like at all.". He didn't know the half of it.
Back at the Alvarez's household, a reporter was reporting on the living snowmen and trees. This was being played on the kitchen TV. This reporter is Harriet Bennett from Episode 91 aka the female reporter. "Attention folks. The trees and snowmen are attacking our hero Zero. We don't know why this but stay home." said Harriet. The Alvarez family watched this as Shawn said,"Why is our son being targeted by those monsters?".
Natasha crossed her arms as she said,"I have no idea but I'm sure that the Phantom shield is up just in case they're Phantoms.". Shawn's eyes soon widened being that he soon rushed off to turn on the shield being that the panel to activate it was in the basement. "I don't think it's a Phantom mom." said Kurt. "And why is that?" said Sly. "They have a truce Sly. They don't attack Earth or anyone from December 17-January 2 being that they really love this time of year." said Kurt.
Ana said,"So why are they attacking Zane then?". "Who cares?! We need to go help him!" said Atem with his two siblings and puppy agreeing. All of the family agreed as Natasha said,"I'm going out there kids and I'm bringing my son home.". The matriarch soon left the kitchen as Shawn said,"She's so hot!". The older members of the family looked at the father with Kania looking at the TV. "Stay safe my idiot master." thought Kania.
Inside of the house of Sam, the "most popular" girl in Cypress Park, things were looking rather peaceful being that the events in town didn't effect them just yet. Inside of the house, not a single soul was present and this includes the queen bee here. This changed as Zane soon crashed through the wall of Sam's bedroom and landing on the floor. Zane shook his head as he said,"Okay. I'm really annoyed now. So where did I land?".
Zane saw that he was in Sam's room as he said,"Oh god. I'm really in hell aren't I?". He soon heard the front door break down as Zane could tell the army of snowmen and trees were coming in to hunt down Zane. Before Zane could relax, Holiday Guardian soon appeared. "So we're in the room of your number one fan. How does that make you feel?" said HG. "Like I'm in hell." said Zane as he punched toward HG, only for him to phase through it.
HG scoffed as he spotted a customized kitty cat which was dressed in a costume looking like Zane's except fitting its size. It soon came to life as it jumped toward Zane. The cat landed on Zane's face as it clawed at it, with Zane saying,"And now you're just sealing the deal!". He soon picked up the cat using his mind being that he threw into the vanity mirror being that Zane smirked. The cat recovered as Zane kicked the feline right into a lightbulb.
The cat meowed in pain as the broken shards of glass dug into its back. Zane soon grabbed the cat and ripped its head clean. "And that's one pussy down." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off as HG soon went charged at him and tacked right into Zane, breaking the vanity mirror into several shades of glasses. "Okay. You're really need to learn to give me my space! Push!" shouted Zane. Zane soon had Animus in hand, firing a massive burst of energy from it.
This sent HG back onto Sam's queen sized bed being that upon contact, the legs gave out as the box spring and mattress fell onto the floor. HG was about to get up but soon saw Zane right above with a steel gray cosmic energy gathered around his left fist. "Galactic Punch!" said Zane, with him soon punching HG right in the jingle bells. "Man. That's dirty!" said Kane. "He had it coming and you know it!" shouted Zane.
Before HG could recover, Zane turned himself and HG intangible as the two phase through the floor and exited the room in order to continue the Christmas brawl with the trees and men of snow provide assistance or a living weapon for the two main fighters. Sam and her family wasn't home being that they were at a party but when they got home, they weren't going to be too happy. Sam's room was destroying along with the living room thanks to several destroyed Christmas trees.
Throughout Cypress Park, HG and Zane continued their fight being that it was mainly in the trees but sometimes, they ended up in houses aka the ones belong to the A-list. The next house was Hannah's abode being that unlike the previous home, both Hannah and David were up close and personal to watch their protector being strangled by Christmas lights that once hung around the tree. The tree was still in the home but was alive and helping to kill Zane.
Zane soon escape the strange being that he soon made his claws appears being that the ends of them looked rather sharp. He was planning on stabbing either the tree or Phantom being that either one will do. However, HG made an orb of Holiday Nether and the claws pierced the orb, causing the two to be covered in a bright flash of holiday light. This blinded all there except for Zane being that thanks to his costume, he was protected from the blinding glare.
Zane grabbed HG ,who was stunned from his own attack, and threw him into the kitchen. "Sorry but I need to use your kitchen! Thanks!" said Zane. He soon rushed into the kitchen and grabbed a nearby frying pan, wracking HG upside the head several times. As the Phantom was nearby the stove, Zane used his telekinesis to turn on the stove tops. This burned HG's head being that Zane generated his flames and well, HG was very hot.
The Phantom roared out in pain as he pulled himself away from the stove. He wanted to make Zane feel the burn but this failed due to the fire being gone. Zane smirked as he soon fired another Galactic Punch but this one to his burnt face, sending the Phantom flying out of the house with Zane in pursuit and enjoying himself. Hannah was out cold being that David was confused on why a scarecrow was fighting their town's hero inside of his girlfriend home.
Over at the Wallace house, Kevin was in his room at his computer, playing a game. He had been playing since 8 this morning being that he only took a break to go the bathroom, check on his friends for the Christmas party tomorrow, or eating. He knew that Rachel was spending Christmas Eve with her folks despite none of them celebrating the holiday and Zane was well fighting his hatred of the holiday right about now. Kevin didn't know this but he would find out.
Kevin said,"Okay. I should really stop. I mean Zane this time of year is a ball of rage being that he is trying to enjoy the holiday but he's the most stubborn person I know.". He was soon put on hold as he heard a loud thud sound at his window. The teen soon jumped out of his chair and turned around to see the cause. He soon saw the stitched up face of Holiday Guardian pressed up against his window and breathing heavily.
Before Kevin could do anything about his guest, he soon heard,"Zenith Sphere Wave!". Outside of the house, Zane stood on the ground. He soon focused Animus into his hands being that a purple beam came flying out, hitting Holiday Guardian dead on. The Phantom was sent flying away as Zane was now floating in front of his friend's window. "And your fight is with me!" yelled Zane. He soon flew off after the Phantom with a smile on his face.
As Zane flew off, Kevin was shocked. He was used to the supernatural being that his friend was a hybrid of six different species plus he allowed himself to bonded to him. Kevin even had powers himself. Zane smiling on Christmas Eve is what shocked. Before he could say anything, his phone soon rang as he saw that it was Danny. "I guess my night is pretty much ruined." said Kevin as he answered his friend's call.
At the fight between HG and Zane continued on, Natasha was looking for her son. She had no idea on where he was being that she was focused on taking care of the living snowmen and trees that infested her home plus blocked her path more times than one. Instead of her normal clothing, she was wearing a special suit that was made just for her. She's currently wearing a black, sleeveless undershirt with her wearing an dark purple over-shirt that have two metal plates on each of her shoulder.
She wears black stretch pants with lightweight crimson red flats that can turn into metal boots. She also wears silver metal gauntlets being they can turn off and on. She sliced through some trees with two double-sided plasma axes being that she was spinning them around. "Okay. This is getting kinda crazy. How many trees do we have in this town? It's Florida!" said Natasha as she continued on with her looking for her son.
The town itself was pretty much destroyed being that nothing was spared. This included the many Christmas lights and decorations which not littering the roads and sidewalks. Several Christmas trees impaled a billboard of old Santa Nick being they were there because Zane wanted to piss off HG and it worked quite well. The two weren't even close to be done with their fight as HG soon tacked Zane through a mansion.
This mansion didn't belong to one of the A-List but Rachel instead. She was enjoying Hanukkah with her dear maternal grandma Andrea Powell. She has fair skin with gray hair ,with faint streaks of copper red, that's tied in a bun and amber brown eyes. She has small eyebrows. She's wearing black glasses with white lenses and pink lipstick. She's wearing a green tunic dress sleeveless top with a white flower collared top and a long sleeved violet blouse underneath.
She's wearing a long dark brown skirt and white shoes with brown socks. She gets around by driving on a emerald green scooter. It has a small basket in the front side of the handle with a black seat. It's powered by an battery in the backside of the scooter. Before they could truly enjoy the holiday, Zane soon came bursting through a window. A normal person would be shocked to see the destroyed wall plus Legion Zero and Holiday Guardian brawling out in the main living room.
Andrea looked at Rachel with her saying,"So aren't you going to help him dearie?". She knew about Zane and the rest of her friend's superhero secrets since Zane liked the old lady. She flipped off one of the rich so that earned her props in Zane's book. She also knew a secret that her daughter was keeping from most people including herself. Zane soon dodged several glass dishes that were thrown at him. "It's good that we don't care about these dishes." said Rachel.
Andrea soon shouted,"Keep on fighting you two! This is the best Hanukkah ever!". Rachel ignored her grandma for a moment being she soon recognized the creature who was fighting against her best male friend. She was about to join in the fight when she saw HG pin Zane into the wall as the teen couldn't escape. "You'll soon enjoy the holiday season just like everyone else Zane!" said HG being that he was going to force Zane to like this time of year no matter what.
Rachel yelled,"Hey!". She stepped forward as Zane said,"Rae! Leave now!". HG turned his head toward her as he said,"You should listen to the sinner. His dislike of this time doesn't effect you believer.". "It kinda does since he's my best male friend. I'm sure that Zane did something wrong but you're trying to force your opinion down his throat. If there is one thing that Zane doesn't like, he hates people forcing him to do something that he doesn't want to do." said Rachel.
Zane said,"She's kinda right you know.". "Stay quiet sinner. Once he is part of the fold, I shall make you part of it as well." said HG. Rachel ignored the death threat being that she soon saw Zane sprout an arm from his body and stretch it away from them. It was slowly twisting itself being that she knew that Zane was going to use Sweet Onslaught on him. "I thought you only went after those who didn't have the holiday spirit." said Rachel.
HG said,"Since you're protecting this ultimate sinner, I'll make an exception.". "There is one thing to say to that." said Rachel. "And what is that?!" said HG. "Sweet Onslaught!" said Zane as the scarecrow soon got hit by Zane's untwisted arm. The Phantom was sent flying back and right into the china cabinet, breaking several plates onto him. Before he could get up, Zane soon held a steel gray cosmic energy sphere in front of him.
Zane shouted,"Here's my Present to you! Impulse Burst!". He soon threw the sphere like a baseball at the Phantom, causing a wave of energy to hit him and causing a massive explosion. The Phantom soon exploded, causing the liquid Nether to splattered through the den as HG's head flew backwards and outside of the home. Andrea cheered at Zane's finisher with Kane saying,"That's one weird but cool grandma.". "Yes she is." said Athena.
The duo of Rachel and Zane soon walked toward HG's severed head as HG said,"You cannot stop me children! I'm the guardian of the holidays not some street thug.". "Wow. He sure talks a lot doesn't he?" said Rachel. "He does. So do you want to do the honors?" said Zane. "Thank you very much Zane." said Rachel as she moved her left leg back. HG's eyes widened as he said,"She isn't going to do what I think she's going to do.". "She is and it's going to be good." said Zane.
Rachel's grandma agreed as Rachel kicked the severed head away from the house and out of Cypress Park. "This won't stop me Zane! I make you see the holiday spirit!" echoed HG. "Thank you Rae so much. I've been hearing him like nothing else the past month and trust me, I got sick of hearing his voice." said Zane. "No problem Zane." said Rachel. There was an awkward silent between the two of them as Rachel said,"So what's going on?".
Zane said,"Well, it all started yesterday.". Zane soon explained to Rachel being that she and her grandma really liked the parts where their fight trashed Hannah and Sam's house. "Wow. I kinda feel bad for you. You were forced to repeat your least favorite day. I guess you defeating him now frees you huh." said Rachel. "It may but I'm sure there are a couple of trees and snowmen left so I'm not done exactly." said Zane.
Zane smiled as he said,"Okay. I'll be honest with you. This was actually the best Christmas I've had since I was six.". "Seriously?! Are you crazy?!" shouted Rachel. "Yeah. I mean the repeating part sucked a lot but I got to kick his ass so hard that he exploded. It really got rid of a lot of stress I've had for the past month." said Zane. He flew off to handle the leftovers as Rachel wondered what goes through Zane's head.
Later, Zane was in the middle of the streets and he was blasting down the pair of Christmas trees and snowman from all sides using Nether being Tyrannus. It was like target practice for him being that when a tree decided to shoot its needles at him, Zane used a snowman for cover. Zane soon heard a battle cry as he said,"Is that my mom?". "While his mother charged forward through the tree army, Zane was trying to fight my army being that he was failing." said HG's voice.
Zane rolled his eyes as he blasted down some more trees. "And here I thought you were dead. This holiday really hates me." said Zane. He soon slammed a massive ball of Tyrannus Nether onto the ground, sending a shockwave of Nether to destroy several opponents at once. Natasha was nearby as she cut her way through the trees. She soon saw the wave of Nether as she said,"Zane! I'm sure that you can hear me!". "And he totally could using his very strong hearing." said HG.
Zane was thrown onto the ground as he blasted a couple of trees back. "Despite all of his power, he was quite tired. It could have been from our fight and his fights earlier but overall, he was done and was about to call it quits." said HG. Zane was soon thrown to the ground by a snowman. "You are so annoying." said Zane. As Zane slowly got back up to fight, an army of snowmen and trees soon surrounded him.
They were all roaring as Zane heard,"Zane! If you can hear me, just roar!". Zane smiled as he said,"I got it! Time to end this!". He soon stood up and he soon made a clone of himself as the two both took a deep breath. Around the clone, steel gray cosmic energy was around him and the air around him vibrated and rippled. "Astral Roar/Vibration Roar!" shouted the clone and Zane being that the clone fired Astral Roar and Zane fired Vibration Roar respectively.
The snowmen and trees were either destroyed by the cosmic energy or the dark red sound waves which had a noticeable bass sound to it. All of them were destroyed being that nothing was left as Zane's clone disappeared. The teen was soon out of power being that he soon looked to see nothing but dead trees and melted water all around. He deactivated his costume being that his face soon went into the snow as he said with him panting in the process,"I'm done Coach. Tag me out.".
He soon pulled his head to see his mother heading toward him. "Zane!" shouted Natasha. She soon walked toward her son as she said,"You worried us to death!". She hugged her son as she said,"So why were those trees and snow men after you?". "It's a long story mom. I know it's Christmas Eve but I have one more thing to handle before I can finally rest tonight." said Zane. The two went back home as the city was able to sleep peacefully on this winter night.
Yeah. This episode is pretty long and trust me, this is why there was no posts last month. I also had to do some editing and well, it was important. You may ask why I'm writing this here instead of at the end or Author Note. This is because I want this part to be longer and no other reason why. Lets begin about an hour or two after the Christmas eve brawl at the Alvarez home being that Zane and the Holiday Guardian's feud wasn't over just yet.
Zane P.O.V.
I was standing in the basement of my house being that despite me killing him, I could still hear that Holiday Bastard's voice. "And inside of his family's basement, Zane knew that he couldn't be rid of me." said HG. I rolled my eyes as I opened a portal to Terrarune. I turned into Legion Zero being that I flew into the portal. "Do you really think that you can stop me here? I'm a natural being of Terrarune while you're nothing more than a user of it!" said HG.
I said,"And you should by now that I'm too stubborn to give up! I also know where you live and trust me, I got a plan!". I soon flew toward his realm being that while I was recovering with some cookies and chocolate, I figured out where Holiday Guardian lived being that it was a city hall like building and trust me, it stuck out. I could see HG ,who looked like crap, looking at me through the window of his realm.
HG said,"You forgot that I have more power in this realm than I do on Earth! Lets see if you like this surprise!". I soon fired steel gray Nether at the building being that I soon made a massive construct of a giant hammer and slammed into the building. I soon that the building was gone being that two reddish wooden doors appeared in its place. The doors only had two weird doorknobs being that one was an magic eight ball and the fork was a spork.
I destroyed the doors being that debris went flying everywhere. I soon landed as I walked inside the wreckage of the doorway. "Okay. What can you do to surprise me now?" I said. I stopped being that I heard,"This will be a shock won't it Zane.". I ignored him being that I turned to see the group of Bane, Celeste, Dyno, Hourglass, Malik, Marie, Jennifer, Kendra, Seth, and Spiro standing there with smiles on their face. None of them looking different.
Spiro said,"We've been waiting for you.". "And now our party can begin!" said Jennifer. I was expecting a fight but well, I was shocked. Ten overhead lamps activated and shine being that I saw a gold-trimmed Christmas tree nearby a red window. My mouth was agape being that I could see two gold Christmas tree. Bane was holding a cup of beer being that Celeste was holding a turkey on a plate as Dyno smiled.
Narrator P.O.V.
Cole said,"So did we died in that fight earlier or what?". Zane honestly didn't know at all. "You're early than what you said Zane but who cares? Eat and drink with us your highness!" said Bane as he chugged his drink. "Have some food. We've made a lot and just for you too." said Celeste as she smiled. "You do know that Phantoms love this time of year right because of the truce so we don't bother anyone." said Spiro
He soon slapped Zane on the back, knocking him to the ground. "Wait. What truce are you talking about?" said Zane. "What? Fuck! I forgot about the truce!" said HG from his secret base. "This truce says that no Phantom can bother another species from December 17 to January 2. All Phantoms respect this rule." said Seth, helping Zane up. Zane looked around the room to see a buffer and several wrapped boxes.
Kendra said,"Like Bane said, We didn't expect you but we love this time of year too much to care about you being late or early.". "Yep. Christmas is a time that all beings in Terrarune love a lot including this guy." said Marie. Malik nodded as Zane said,"So all of you follow this right and can I start eating?". "Yes and sure Zane." said Dyno. The Phantom soon watched Zane devour the entire buffet as they said in unison,"Yep. That's Zane for you.".
Zane turned to them as he said,"Well, Holiday Guardian broke it and has been torturing me for the past month!". "Huh?" said Jennifer. Iris floating into the room with her saying,"Oh hi Zane. How is it going? I was actually going to come get you so I could surprise everyone with your visit.". "So what is going on Zane?" said Spiro. Zane soon told the Phantoms the whole story as Celeste clenched her fists. "I can't believe that guy! He's a real monster!" said Celeste.
Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. He is. I've been forced to repeat today twenty four times now and before a certain event, I was going to repeat it a twenty fifth time. How come you didn't know about this?". "I would have known about this Zane and stopped it the first time but on Christmas Eve and any major holiday in the Omniverse, the Holiday Guardian's power is much more than mine and Spiro's combined." said Hourglass.
Bane said,"Wow and here I thought he would be smarter than messing with the king.". "It was nice to hear him get his but kicked by you." said Seth. "I think it's time for a good old fashioned Holiday Guardian beat down. Whose with me?" said Malik, pounding a fist. Zane smiled as HG feared for his life. He was about to leave his Realm but the door soon crumbled into pieces. Zane stood there with the Phantoms as Zane smiled. "Your reign over my life is over!" said Zane.
Bane, Celeste, and the others stood behind their king being that HG said with loud laughter,"Do you honestly think that all of you can stop me on today of all days?!". He soon created several holiday themed material ,ranging from pumpkins to Easter bunnies, with Bane saying,"We'll handle the rift raft! You take care of HG!". Zane smiled as he jumped right toward HG. HG couldn't do anything to stop the attack being that he was still recovering from Zane's attack earlier.
Zane's left fist was covered in Primordial energy being that he soon made a straight fist. HG soon saw the energy around Zane's hand amplify being that his arm is covered in the turquoise energy. "I'm sorry." said HG. None of the Phantoms could believe what they were hearing being that Zane soon said,"Zenith Punch!". He soon slammed the fist right into HG, sending him falling into the bookshelf and unable to move.
Zane soon stood in front of him with him saying,"And let this be a lesson to all who try to make me do something that I don't want to do.". The Phantoms soon watched his right arm go behind him and it went extremely far back. He soon cocked it back to him being that during the journey back, Zane's arm was ignited in flames thanks to friction. All of his friends and family ,which is all of the people who Zane is friendly with. soon appeared behind Zane. "Zenith Smash!" yelled Zane.
HG was soon hit with a powerful explosion of flames as HG was on death's door. "And now, I'm feeling much better." said Zane, cracking his knuckles. "Bane. If I'm going to do something that would piss off Zane, stop me." said Dyno. "Got it." said Bane. Dyno soon had two of his security guards carry HG away as HG said,"Do you honestly think that you won?". "Dude. He pretty much destroyed you." said Jennifer.
HG laughed as he said,"Don't you idiots get it?! Our king got himself into this mess by blowing up items that belong to a holiday that all of us treasure so much.". Bane and Dyno grabbed him as HG said,"And the only way for time to return to normal is if Zane loves this holiday just like the rest of us or he said sorry for being a scrooge.". Before the two could take FG away, Zane looked dead. "Leave him here." said Zane.
Everyone in the room was confused as Zane said,"I'm extremely furious and right now, I need to get out my anger.". "This isn't healthy. So do you hate Christmas?" said Seth, placing his hand on Zane's shoulder. "I do right Seth but what do you expect me to do? I hate this holiday more than anything because of the bad memories related to it. I did try to like but I can't forget them just like that." said Zane.
FG said,"Just forget about the bad memories and think of the good ones that you would have if you followed the.....". Zane soon punched his jaw clean off as everyone was shocked. "Take him away and I don't want to see him again. Are you fucking happy?! You've ruined my life and countless others just because I hate this time of year with a burning passion. Have a merry Fucking Christmas you Holiday Bastard." said Zane, floating away. The mood was shot.
Zane P.O.V.
While wearing my sleepwear, I was walking through Cypress Park. After finishing off Holiday Guardian's beat down, I had returned to Earth being that it was slightly better than it was a couple of hours during HG and my fight. I soon heard another set of light fizzle out being that I was ruining the holiday even more by just walking. "This hellish punishment that I was forced to suffer through takes its toll despite me being able to stop HP." I said to myself.
I stopped in front of a house as the light went out upon me looking at them. "Fuck Christmas." I said as I kept walking through the streets of my hometown. I couldn't understand why this hell was still going on. Was I supposed to follow the crowd and just love this time of year? No. I can't do that. It isn't possible. I can remember everything this and trust me, I wish I could forgot all of the pain that this time of year reminds me over.
I soon sat down on a rock in the street being that I had my elbows on my knees and my hands were covering my face. The trees around me were destroy and nothing that was Christmas reminded. "I'm such a fucking failure." I said. I began crying being that I soon felt someone touching my shoulder as I heard,"Dude. We're all failures. That's what being human or in your case sorta human is.". I turned to see my friends being the group of Danny, Gwen, Kevin, and Rachel.
Kevin sat to my left as he said,"Dude. I know that you hate this time of year but why are you here alone?". "Yeah. You've defeated the guy who was controlling you like his puppet. I thought you would be jumping for joy." said Gwen as Rachel sat next to Zane on the right. "You think so but all of this. It's my fault." I said. I took a deep breath as I said,"I hate this time of year. That's no lie and for my kids, I was going to change. End it here and now but I can't.".
During this, I didn't know that the presents that were destroyed during the chaos were soon floating in the air. "Um Zane. Look..." said Gwen. Danny stopped her as I said,"I started this mess when I pissed off the guardian of this time of year. What the hell was I thinking? I'm such a fucking fool. I have the power to alter reality itself so why the hell can't I clean up my fucking mess?". Danny soon got my attention as I saw something happen.
The present that were destroyed during the snowmen and tree attack were repairing themselves as Rachel said,"Are you guys seeing the presents fixing them or is that me?". "Nope. I'm see it too and are they flying around?" said Danny. "Are they going back where they came from?" said Kevin. "So what the hell is going on?" I said. Crisis Judgement went off as I turned into Legion Zero. I soon had Tyrannus Nether ready to go only to be shocked once again.
Narrator P.O.V.
Jennifer ,wearing a red Santa hat, floating there as she said,"Tada! We're here to help you see the joy of Christmas in your own way Zaney!". The five teens soon turned to see Jennifer with the group of Bane, Celeste, Dyno, Hourglass, Iris, Malik, Marie, Jennifer, Kendra, Seth, and Spiro being that all of them were wearing red Santa hats. "What kinda of friends would be if we left you to atone for something that Holiday did?" said Hourglass.
Malik smirked as he said,"Christmas may not be for everyone aka you but heck, I can't see you looking all gloomy. All Phantoms share in this truce include the Cross-Species.". Zane smiled as he said,"Thank you so much.". "It wasn't us who had this idea." said Spiro. "If it wasn't you guys, then whose idea was it?" said Gwen. "It was mine dear Gwendolyn." said a voice with a heavy, Russian accent. The teens soon turned to see a man standing there as Zane said,"No way.".
He's a very tall man being about 7 feet tall. He’s Caucasian with him being very strong and good looking. He has large muscles with his arms having the words Naughty and Nice grafted onto them like tattoos. He has short white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a full white ,with it being white as snow, beard that goes over his chest. He does has noticeable crow's feet around his eyes, indicating his age and rosy red cheeks. He wears a dark red Santa hat being that it looks more like a helmet rather than a hat.
Said hat has white fuzzy lining/trim around the bottom edge and tip of his hat. His hat/helmet has a white snowflake pattern. It has a white fuzzy ball at the tip, with three small balls attached from the tip with red string to each ball. He wears an armor version of a normal red Santa suit. This comes in the form of a sleeveless collared red velvet tunic with white piping and matching red pants. It has fluffy white trim on the cuffs, end of the sleeves, lining, and bottom.
He wears knee-high black boots with silver bottoms and soles. He wears brown, fingerless gloves that reach down to his knuckles. He wears a thick black belt with a gold Christmas tree-shaped buckle, and when he’s working during Christmas Eve, he carries a red bag with white trim. His body was naturally glowing with Christmas glitter. He has this grandfatherly aura to him that put others around at ease around him and make his words have more meanings.
The teens looked at the man who began laughing and his laughter had a noticeable ego. "Hello there! My name is Admiral Claus but you all know me as Santa Claus. It's nice to meet all of you. All of you are on the nice lists due to your actions over the years including Kevin.". "That's Santa right?" said Kevin. "It is but why isn't he overweight? My childhood is a lie." said Danny. "I'll answer all of your questions soon. Lets save this town and this boy's Christmas." said Santa.
Iris nodded as she aimed her Nether toward some trees. They were slowly restoring themselves back to normal being that they looked brand new. The Phantoms grabbed a trees being that they flew off with them. Rachel smiled as Zane said,"Come on you guys. Lets show these guys how the real Protectors of Cypress Park save Christmas.". "This is still not the weirdest thing I've seen today you guys." said Danny as the five joined in on helping the Phantoms and Santa.
In due time, Cypress Park's Christmas spirit had returned with all of the presents and trees being that it was a Christmas miracle. During all of this, Zane was smiling being that his friends were happy to see his smile return. The group was soon outside of Zane's house with Rachel saying,"Okay. We just saw the Phantoms save Christmas.". "With Santa Claus who is a superhero." said Gwen. "Which is just awesome and my childhood is restored." said Danny.
Zane nodded as he heard,"Zane.". Zane turned to the Phantoms and Santa. "And all of Cypress Park is back to normal except for your house but this is something that you have to do." said Danta. "Yeah. As a king, you need to be able to handle your problems without our help but you'll always have it. Do not forget that." said Spiro, placing his Santa hat on his head. "Thanks all of you. I think I get it maybe." said Zane, deactivating his costume. He soon looked at his house as he walked toward it.
Inside of the house, the Alvarez family was sullen. Zane hadn't returned from Terrarune being that after hearing his story, they knew that Zane would be mad. The front door soon opened it as the trio of kids said,"Daddy?". Zane walked into view as he said,"Merry Christmas, Sorry, I've been such a little shit for the past twelve years.". He placed the bag in the middle of the room as he said,"So while I was doing some thinking, I found this for all of you.".
The family soon enjoyed their gifts as Zoey said,"Daddy. Where's our gift?". Zane didn't give a gift to none of his kids as Zane smiled. "Well pumpkin, it's been here the whole time." said Zane. "Where is it?" said Uriel. "Under the tree. It's my gift to you. I was hoping you could open it now because I've a story behind them." said Zane. The three soon ran to the Christmas Tree as Zane placed the the bag down and Wolfram ran into it, playing with it and trying to get back out.
As the three kids help their present, Natasha said,"Zane. What did you get your kids?". "Something really special." said Zane. The three soon opened the present as the family saw what was inside. It was an hoodie being that it was based off his most recent costume aka his Zeta Costume. It's a very comfy, black normal hoodie with the zipper going down the middle. The interior is crimson red and the hood is white.
On the left and right sleeve, it has the words Legion and Zero respectively. It spells this when read from the top of the shoulder to the end of the sleeve. "This is so cool!" said Atem, putting it on with Uriel and Zoey following him. "It really is and your old man hand made it himself." said Zane. "You didn't have Cora do it for you? Way to go little bro." said Kurt. "I wanted to make a hand made gift that my kids will treasure forever. It grows alongside them and will connected us forever." said Zane.
Zane soon got their attention as he said,"I need you three to listen clearly. I hate this time of year and trust me, I'm not going to change.". Tara was about to say something but Zane stopped her. "But I'm not going to prevent you from enjoying it or forcing you to enjoy it. I can promise you three this. This hoodie will bond the four of us together and will never be sold to anyone else I promise. So Merry Christmas and lets hope for many more." said Zane.
He soon hugged the three kids with them saying,"Merry Christmas Daddy.". They hugged their dad as Natasha whipped away a tear. Wolfram wanted to join in the hug but was stopped. "I'm just happy that he's finally happy in his own way." said Ana. "Yeah. Christmas isn't about the presents or the pure joy. It's about spending time with your family and friends." said Natasha. She hugged Shawn as Zane looked outside. He turned to see all of his friends standing there as he mouthed,"Thank you.".
Zane P.O.V.
I'm sure you think that I didn't learn a single thing through out this neverending Christmas and you're probably right. There is a moral in this and I think I figure it out. Everyone should have the right to celebrate this time of years in the way of THEIR choosing. You shouldn't be forced to celebrate in a way that you don't want to do. Get the hint HG? I was blinded by my anger for the past twelve years and well, my anger isn't going to leave any time soon.
I'm a highly emotional person and when you have the ability to remember everything, it's hard to forget things. I was standing in front of my house, watching my family and friends have a snowball fight as my Phantoms friends joined it. "So do you understand what Holiday Guardian was trying to teach you in his own unique way?" said a voice. I turned to see Santa being that when my kids first saw him, they asked him about where his belly went much to the adults amusement.
He later told all of us before the fight that he's been looking like this forever but he wondered why most cultures in the Omniverse depicted him as overweight but he didn't have the heart to correct them. "I guess so. I was so busying defeating myself and being kinda a dick. I didn't see that I was hurting the people who care about me and in my sorrow, I was running everyone's cheer. I can't promise this but I'll try to better next year and celebrate this holiday in my own way." I said.
Santa said,"And what way is that?". "Fighting bad guys, spending time with loved ones, and making Holiday Guardian hate this time of year. He'll recover from his wounds by the time Christmas comes around next year so I hope he's ready for round 2." I said. Santa laughed as he said,"Lets join in the festivities.". I soon followed Santa being that I was going to keep on fighting because I'm not a fan of letting people that I care about down like a real coward.

He soon hugged the three kids with them saying,"Merry Christmas Daddy.". They hugged their dad as Natasha whipped away a tear. Wolfram wanted to join in the hug but was stopped. "I'm just happy that he's finally happy in his own way." said Ana. "Yeah. Christmas isn't about the presents or the pure joy. It's about spending time with your family and friends." said Natasha. She hugged Shawn as Zane looked outside. He turned to see all of his friends standing there as he mouthed,"Thank you.".

I'm sure you think that I didn't learn a single thing through out this neverending Christmas and you're probably right. There is a moral in this and I think I figure it out. Everyone should have the right to celebrate this time of years in the way of THEIR choosing. You shouldn't be forced to celebrate in a way that you don't want to do. Get the hint HG? I was blinded by my anger for the past twelve years and well, my anger isn't going to leave any time soon.
I'm a highly emotional person and when you have the ability to remember everything, it's hard to forget things. I was standing in front of my house, watching my family and friends have a snowball fight as my Phantoms friends joined it. "So do you understand what Holiday Guardian was trying to teach you in his own unique way?" said a voice. I turned to see Santa being that when my kids first saw him, they asked him about where his belly went much to the adults amusement.
He later told all of us before the fight that he's been looking like this forever but he wondered why most cultures in the Omniverse depicted him as overweight but he didn't have the heart to correct them. "I guess so. I was so busying defeating myself and being kinda a dick. I didn't see that I was hurting the people who care about me and in my sorrow, I was running everyone's cheer. I can't promise this but I'll try to better next year and celebrate this holiday in my own way." I said.
Santa said,"And what way is that?". "Fighting bad guys, spending time with loved ones, and making Holiday Guardian hate this time of year. He'll recover from his wounds by the time Christmas comes around next year so I hope he's ready for round 2." I said. Santa laughed as he said,"Lets join in the festivities.". I soon followed Santa being that I was going to keep on fighting because I'm not a fan of letting people that I care about down like a real coward.
