A/N: Yep. That was an episode of Zero where things happened. Pretty lazy summary of what just happened but yeah. It's a summary. You may think I was being too harsh or cruel mainly in the case of Miranda. If you think that about this story, that's great. I always suggest having an opinion and not blindly following me. I'm sure that you're well aware of how I write so here is how I wrote this arc and last episode as a whole.
I wanted to write another Massacre since I decided to write Fairy Legion and Zero back to back. In Fairy Legion, we're in filler territory and the Loke arc. I'll explain why I don't like the latter in Fairy Legion so I need a really heavy hitter to give something interesting for the month of December. This Massacre had to be different since there was going to be a death but no named character will die in this arc.
This is different from the Massacre where I did kill named characters. You know my opinion on Death in fiction and real life thanks to
Fairy Legion Chapter 20 so I tried to apply that logic here. If you think about it, Feral only killed the cameraman but did they have names? No. They were just background characters. I've been teasing Feral and Renegade since
Zero Episode 128. Was this my initial plan for them at the start?
Nope but I'm happy those two turned out. I wanted to show how Reality TV can effect more than the stars mainly with the interns aka Feral and how Hollywood make people backstab others to just get a chance to shine aka Renegade. Efren's dissing on how fans not liking how certain people are paired in a fiction is an actually thing. I do this and I accept this as something as a flaw of mine. This
Twitter post made it perfectly clearly for me on two things.
I'm making sure that I don't like my hobbies be all I'm known for. I'll also enjoy fanfics that don't go against the traditional when it comes to relationship. It requires you to be creative and do things that may seem out of character but it's a fanfic at the end of the day. Nothing in canon will change just because I decided to put Character A and F together when it should be Character A and B like it is in canon. Will we see anyone from this arc again? No idea but I hope they do.
The cast of Ultimate Showdown had changed thanks to this arc and if they do show up again, they will be different from when they came to Cypress Park. Hopefully. Sometimes, people don't change after a traumatic event. Yeah. It sucks but things happen for a reason. To finish this off, we're talking about the MCU again and don't worry. It won't involve Captain Marvel. It's involving May Parker and War Machine. May Parker is a character who has bothered me.
If she's Peter's aunt, why does she look to be his grandma? I never let this bothered me when it comes to the character of Spider-Man. So when Marisa Tomei was cast as May Parker in the MCU, I liked this casting. While I can get how some people claiming how it's wrong for Aunt May to be young and hot, it makes no sense. I think this
quote from Stephen McFeely says it the best in my opinion. Why would a teenager have such an elderly aunt?
I mean you could argue genetics or having two sisters being years apart in age. Both options are very possible but still. This rant was mainly about War Machine. Before the 2010s end, I've been recently watching all of the Marvel movies in unison. The only one that I'm skipping is Hulk because I think it matters the least in the MCU as a whole. Beside for Hulk and General Ross, is there anything else I'm forgetting? As of writing of this, I'm on Thor Ragnarok and I noticed something.
Why does Marvel Studios hate War Machine? I realized this as I watched the movies and a Disney Plus ad for Endgame. You know the one. They mentioned all of the heroes in Endgame but not War Machine. I mean what's up with that? I decided to talk about this after I read that War Machine is the strongest Avenger in an
article. It's interesting to note since I think Hulk and War Machine are the only Avengers to have their actor swapped between two movies.
This also happened to Frandral, Howard Stark, Red Skull, and Grimace himself Thanos. It's kinda interesting to see Terrence Howard who was a good War Machine but I just like Don Cheadle. I kinda wish I could watch Hulk but meh. Not in any rush to see. I also found it interested when I watched Infinity War ,not during my Marvel Movie Marathon, how War Machine survived the snap being that he wasn't a founding member. In the MCU, War Machine is the longest-serving Avenger.
I love learning little stuff like this. To end thing off, this
video is how Steve and Tony clash in Captain America Civil War will always starts in my mind. You can't change my mind on this. This is my head canon. I just love how they played it straight and it's honestly just amazing to watch. I should mentioned this episode will be like
Zero Episode 132.5 in terms of having flashbacks and first person P.O.V not the murder. Lets begin.
Zane P.O.V.
I remember learning at a young age that defeat will always teach us the most valuable lessons and how defeat came only come from within. Despite my family and friends being successful in stopping Feral and his partners in crimes, I can tell that they were feeling defeated. After I revealed Ricardo's true appearance, I had my clone rush Vicky to Heartstone Medical Hospital without making her wound worse.
According to my clone, Vicky used my voice to keep going and her desire to become a better person after what she did during 2017-2020. The reason why she stopped killing Phantoms was simple. She was forced to kill a Phantom which she did but she figured out how that Phantom was a parent and the Phantom's children watched it happen. Vicky lost her mom to a Phantom but she didn't see it happen to her. This made Vicky give up the killing much to my joy and Swarm's dismay.
Once the clone had arrived at the hospital, Vicky was rushed to the emergency room where the doctors ,mainly my sister in law Ellie being that she and Lucius got married in late 2020, did everything they could to keep her alive. Vicky was lucky that her wounds weren't as severe as they could have been. The doctors were confused on how she didn't survived being impaled by Feral and this was due to my clone healing her the best that he could. She wasn't without any injury mind you.
She had extreme laceration in the spinal cord, resorting in her having some form of paralysis. After hearing Ellie's diagnosis, I had Jaime get a Revitatlizer Suit ready for Vicky and I was going to head into my lab. After hearing about Agent Phoenix's unique power up, I decided to give her suit a new upgrade and hopefully a new job out of Swarm. While she was recovering, I was inside of her room and felt awful about the whole thing.
I couldn't see the future like my grandma could but if I knew about Feral and Renegade taking over the minds of Gabriel and Shane, could I have stopped this? Speaking of Ultimate Showdown, the ones who were knighted had been freed of the armor after Feral was defeated. They were currently recovering in a different part of the hospital, having no memory of what happened to them. Gabriel and Shane suffered the worse since they were the first to be knighted.
Flashback P.O.V.
Speaking of Gabriel, lets see how that happened. Shane's knighting happened thanks to Marionette and Renegade talking with him but you may ask how did Gabriel become a servant? Lets go back to
Act 2 of Reality Sucks and this knighting happened during the time that Zane was fighting against the second Sarkroid. In one of the Alvarez's family members room being Natasha and Shawn's room which was strictly forbidden by Zane, Gabriel was currently working on one of his "sick" beats.
For some strange reason, his music is popular but taste in music is just subjective with most people hating it. It's beats and techno. "Like god! This internet is so slow! That Zane punk is going to pay for smashing my CD! He just doesn't get how my music is totally boss and Axel's music is older than the dinosaur!" said Gabriel. "I thought your mom taught you to respect others despite their different taste in music." said a feminine voice. The musician jumped as he looked around to see who was talking.
The room only had him in being that he could find nothing out of the ordinary. "Who said that? I'll have you know that I'm an expert at karate foolish Phantom! Alicia totally digs me since I'm totally a mad samurai!" said Gabriel, making chopping motions. "Oh wow. I'm so scared. I think a ball of yarn or a kitten is more threatening than you are. Come on. Fight me like a man rather than a baby." said the feminine voice, screaming sarcastic.
Gabriel glared with him saying,"I'm no baby! God! You're such a loser for messing with me!". "A wise man once said that when someone calls another a loser, they are the real one." said the voice. "I demand you to show yourself now!" yelled Gabriel. "Shut the hell Gabriel! I'll destroy your laptop if you don't!" yelled Miranda's voice from downstairs in the living room. "Miranda! There is an intruder and none of you are doing a damn thing about it! God bunch of losers!" said Gabriel.
The feminine voice said,"Oh wow. I guess with you not respecting other people's taste in music, you don't respect women. I guess you're just a sexist like poor Eddy. Maybe you should become the next feral beast.". "Where are you bitch?!" yelled Gabriel, looking for the voice. "I'm to your left." said the voice. Gabriel turned his left, seeing nothing. As he turned around, someone socked him in the jaw hard and send him flying to the ground.
It was a Squire being that before he could scream, he was blasted by a familiar red energy beam and he turned into the Squire. Both Squires bowed to Marionette and Renegade. "Well, you made that too easy m'lady. I was expecting him to be smarter but nope. He's an idiot." said Renegade. "Like most teens are. Lets see if the others notice their chances if their egos allowed it." said Marionette with the squires turned back to normal. Gabriel and Shane left the room, being the first of twelve to change.
Zane P.O.V.
While I thought down on myself, I remember Parker telling me that I can let a single failure define my life from now on or I could learn from it. I decided to do the latter this time. "So you decided to learn from the past. Color me impressed." said a voice. I turned to see Parker sitting on the table next to me in his typical slime form. "Yeah. Kinda impressed you came here. I mean you could be seen by Vicky." I said.
Parker looked right at the former Phantom killer with her sleeping peacefully and was currently having a blood transfusion. "So did you?" said Parker. "Nope. Didn't donate my blood which sucks since I really wanted a cookie. The doctors fortunately had her blood type on standby so she won't be getting immortality or activate her dormant metagene. I really wish it did so that she could have a chance to you know walk again without my tech." I said.
I sighed as I said,"So are you here to tell me that what I did to Miranda was wrong? I mean I may hate them but to have your freewill taken by two metas who hated Ricardo so much. Those people had it coming though. They weren't exactly the best examples of kindness.". "Nope. You did what you thought was the right call." said Parker. "Move. I'm talking to Zane right now." said a familiar voice to a nurse outside.
Parker looked at me with him saying,"Good luck with her Zane. She seems like the third worse female on the show.". "Third?" I said. "I don't like the one you mutated and the one who looks like a boy. She's just rude to the large one." said Parker. "You watched Ultimate Showdown?" I said in a stunned tone. "I just watch the videos online where they suffer. Those idiots are funny when they're in pain." said Parker as I looked at Parker confused.
You learn something new every day huh. The elder Eazairvian was gone as Hilda ,with her left arm in a sling, entered the room. After all of this, I was pretty sure that Hilda along with the rest of Ultimate Showdown was going to need help from a therapist since this is going to give some of them PTSD for sure. "So what do you want Hilda? Going to tell me how this whole mess is my fault somehow and that Zero was a monster for turning Miranda into what they see her as a Mongrel." I said.
I was speaking in a tone that wasn't angry. "I'm really not in the mood to hear it. Kinda worried about my friend here so leave." I said. Instead of leaving, Hilda flinched at what I said. "I..." said Hilda. "You and most of Ultimate Showdown have been treating me and my family like crap since we didn't treat you the way that you wanted. That isn't how things works and how you blamed me for what happened to your friends despite being out of town, that was stupid." I said.
After taking a deep breath, I said,"You need to stop seeing yourself as the martyr but as a criminal like Shane whose heart you broke.". "He was acting all crazy about Miranda!" said Hilda glaring directly at me. "Will he now? She's not winning any beauty pageant anytime soon. From what I've heard from Shane, you spend a whole season trying to be friends with a monster and barely cared about your own boyfriend." I said.
I looked at the sleeping Vicky and sighed. "So maybe he tried to make you jealous by pretending to like her. Wasn't his best move but he's just a lovesick fool like me. Do you know why I hate you so much?" I said. The goth was silent as she muttered out,"You'll probably tell me why.". "And you're correct. You became like Mindy in the fact that you were crazy for Miranda I truly I don't get why. She's awful. You two made fun of Shane even after he tried to help you." I said.
Hilda remembered that happen as she looked away. "You truly thought that Shane was trying to win you back but he isn't like Abel and Joe. They weren't your "Yes Man". You're a stubborn hypocrite who won't take responsibility for her actions and never admits it." I said. It didn't take a telepath to tell that I was hurting her but honestly, I don't care. "Shane told me that the time you two spend together was amazing." I said.
I stood up as I said,"You threw it away from Miranda being that she's the reason why he couldn't have kids. I'll be working on make him sterile once he and the others recovered. Have you been down there once? Bob and Sally are there with Hugh, trying to fill the others on what just happened. It isn't pretty but at least, they don't have any doubts about their lives. Do you?". This caused Hilda to snap at him which I expected.
Hilda started to cry as she said,"Why does everyone in this shithole keep reminding me about that? Was it worth giving up Shane for Miranda?! No it wasn't! I lost a great boyfriend! I gave it for the biggest backstabbing, narcissistic bitch who played me like a idiot! I'm glad she's a monster. I almost lost my friends to two people who were blinding by their ego like I am.". I watched the goth break down in tears being my Essence told me to try and help her but no.
Sometimes, tough love is what you need. "I don't what to do anymore." said Hilda. "Here's my advice and you should take it. When Ellie give you the good to go, take Ricardo's money and all of you go on a bonding trip. Become friends rather than enemies. After all, friends are more important than money. If Vicky wakes up, tell her to text me. We need to talk privately." I said, leaving the room to talk with Parker and Hilda alone to her thoughts.
Narrator P.O.V.
Hilda stood there in shock after she heard what Zane told her. She didn't know what to think but she heard,"You really should listen.". Hilda turned to see Vicky smiling. "Zane is a blunt jerk sometimes if not all of the times but his heart is always in the right place. Like Rae told me and Hannah, Zane may be the worst person to you sometimes but will always have your best interests in mind. I heard what he said. Mind handing me my phone?" said Vicky. Hilda nodded as things were looking bright.
You may think that this is over but nope. The rest of the episode will be taking place in the middle of
Act 3 and
Act 4. There will also be moments going back to the time skip between Zero Episode 127 and 128 so enjoy flashback paradise. I should try to add more to the present day stuff but I'm good so lets see what happened in Zane's short time in Sunset Shores. If you're aware of what Sunset Shores was going to be, lets just see.
Flashback Narrator (2022 and happens during Reality Sucks Act 3 and 4) P.O.V.
It's late at night when the farmer's market is going on in Sunset Shores, Hawaii. The markets were selling out their fruits, vegetables, and farm-raised proteins to their consumers. Three figures stood on top of an neighboring rooftop that were watching what was going on and looked to each other. This trio consisted of two boys and a girl. They looked to each other and nodded. The boys looked to be 16 years old and the girl was two years old.
One Boy is 5 foot 6 and the other boy is 6 foot 3. The boys looked to be siblings with the same fair skin, brilliant blue eyes, and small nose. The shorter boy looked thin and fast while the taller boy looked muscular and slow. The smaller boy has short dark blonde hair. He has a round face compared to his brother. He's wearing green and white goggles over his eyes with the lenses being clear and see through, exposing his brilliant blue eyes and the noticeable bags under them.
He's wearing a dirty, dark blue tank top with him wearing it under a gray hoodie with multiple pockets and short sleeves. He's wearing dark green cargo pants with two extra pockets around his legs and the pant leg are cut too short before his ankles. He has spiked bracelets. He has on red sneakers with white details. The taller boy has ,dyed, black hair with it going to his shoulders. His bangs are covering his forehead, barely covering his eyes.
He's wearing a sleeveless dark orange shirt with it covering with black spots. He's wearing dark brown jeans with green pockets. He wears black wristlets. He wears black and orange sneakers with spikes around his ankles. The girl is 5 foot 4. She's a light olive-skinned girl with an athletic body. She has a air of royalty to her and she was very pretty. She has natural shoulder length dark pink rose like hair ,with emerald green bangs, and tied in a braided ponytail. Some of her bangs covered her forehead.
She has red-orange eyes with white irises and black pupils. Her face is oval shaped with distinct cheekbones. She has a few freckles on her cheeks. She's wearing a black sleeveless dress that goes to the middle of her thighs. Her dress looks to be made out of leaves and covered with a pink pattern to them. She has pale green leggings that made her slender legs stick out. She's wearing brown converse sneakers/boots. She's wearing a black faux leather jacket over her dress.
The girl is wearing brown gloves. Around her neck, she wears a full moon shaped pendant that's tucked under her dress. She has pierced ears with the left ear having two gold studs in the arches and two in the lobes. The right ear only had the studs in her earlobe. The larger boy's stomach growled loudly as he groaned. "Bro. We just ate like an hour ago and you're still hungry." said the smaller boy. "Tyrone. My powers requires me to eat more than a normal person." said the larger boy, rubbing his stomach.
Before the two could start bickering, the girl stopped them. "We'll get it for you Randy. We have to make sure that we're not caught. Remember that the boss warned us to stay out of the devil's sight and I really don't want to be burned away." said the girl. "I can't believe this." said Randy. The girl looked at him with Randy saying,"You need to think about it like this Lorelei. We have powers now to get what we've wanted.".
Lorelei looked at him as she said,"You're right but I didn't have to accept any deal to get my powers. I was born with mine. No one wanted me beside you two." . "Okay then. I've come up with the plan. Get ready to do what's required to survive." said Tyrone. The two other teens listened to the blonde as they watched the market close up and the customers left. "It's show time." said Tyrone. Randy nodded with him holding his hands out and all of the lights suddenly turned off.
The area was covered in a layer of darkness, causing turmoil among the vendors. Three shadowy figures engulfed as two of them grabbed two large bags and one of them grabbed someone else. The trio moved their way right through the darkness like they've done this before. One of the shadow's ankles and wrists glowed pink as several plants in the area began to grow. The vendors were all covered in vines, restraining all of them and one of the shadows hands were raised.
In a few seconds later, the lights turned on as the vendors only saw themselves entangled with in a layer of plants. One of the vendors groaned with him saying,"I can't believe it. We got robbed by those damn meta again!". On a nearby rooftop, the trio of Lorelei, Randy, and Tyrone high-fived as they were gone and went back to their base of operation. Zane was currently sitting on his private plane ,which was the Midnight Bird, and talking with Silas using his watch to video chat him.
Zane looked at Silas and he said with a glass of booze in his hand,"So while I'm incredibly thankful to you for getting me away from Ultimate Showdown. You never told me or Jaime why I needed to go. You have Alyssa and Vivian to go test out possible candidates. Me and Danny just have to get them our approval which we'll probably will without any hassle unlike Alyssa and Chad maybe.". "You're right but I need you." said Silas. "Why?" said Zane.
Silas sighed as he said,"Agent Silver Moon is on another assignment and Primrose is finally getting a life. Chad is being Chad. There are two candidates I want you to test out plus handle a group of metas that are causing trouble. You have the file I sent you right?". Zane held a manila colored folder with a silver "A" on it and red words reading Centurion Project. "Yeah. It's really conspicuous. You were lucky that Micah didn't find it. He's really nosey." said Zane, opening the file.
Zane began reading it with him seeing the file that were done on him, Alyssa, Chad, Danny, Jason Holland, and Vivian. "I don't get it Silas. I mean beside Chad, Danny, Jason, and Vivian, there isn't anything new. Oh wait. There is something new. So you want me to meet up with this Nolan Lancaster guy and Rythos. Rythos?! How do you know...?" said Zane, holding two files. "Heard about your little adventure in the Extinction Colosseum. Nice job on that by the way." said Silas.
Silas looked at Zane with him saying,"He and Nolan are in Sunset Shores. You've ever been there? A nice place to live since it has a good beach and about an hour from Honolulu. In my opinion, you're good with people Zane. Primrose and Silver Moon aren't. You two are both Magnus and the biggest thing friends. Seeing if he'll help us.". "Okay. I'll do my best. So what is the other reason? My job as a hero is never easy right?" said Zane.
The secret agent nodded as he said,"Yes. There is a group of meta called the Scavengers.". "So why have me handle them?" said Zane. "Every week, they've stuck supermarkets or anywhere with the best food in the Western United States. They've also stolen tech from Swarm bases in those areas as well. According to what I know, they seem to be working with Avalon which I know sounds like a stretch but in this business, the outlandish are normal." said Silas.
Zane nodded with Silas saying,"We don't Avalon to get any more weapons and these days, metas are the next WMDs.". "You want me to draw them out. I'm a magnet for trouble ever since I was born so I got this. I just hope that those kids aren't like the Vigilantes." said Zane. "Good luck Zero." said Silas as he hanged up. "
So I know that you're excited to leave Cypress Park but I think there is something for you to enjoy personally." said Cole.
The Cross-Species looked at his watch with the male A.I. saying,"
The hotel you're staying at has over a hundred cocktails to try. You're thankful that all of the gods that you can't get hammered am I right partner of mine?". Zane nodded as Jaime's voice said,"
I hate to be that artificial intelligence but we are making our descent into Hawaii. Please buckle your seatbelts and place your seat trays in the upright position. We'll be landing shortly.".
About an hour later, Zane walked out of the airport with his black and red duffle-bag hanging from his right shoulder. "Finally. I'm here. Sunset Shores, the city where the sun never stops shining. I'm pretty sure that's impossible." said Zane. "
Hush Zane. It's a marketing ploy. So do you want to go find Nolan, Rythos, and the Scavengers?" said Azalea. "
Or the funner answer. Go to the hotel and get some drinks." said Lucifer.
Zane nodded with him saying,"Pretty sure that my answer is obvious you guys. Lets get going to the place I'm staying.". "
You don't know where you're staying are you?" said Sivarth. The superhero shrugged as Athena said,"
I do. Jaime gave me the location. We're heading to the Pleasant Plaza. I suggest calling a taxi or go there the fun way.". Zane smiled as he turned into Swift Form and rushed off to the hotel.
Meanwhile in an abandoned warehouse, the Scavengers sat down at a small table, eating a small stew that Randy made and sighed. "This isn't how we should live brother and Lorelei." said Randy. "Yeah I know brother but we can't do anything about it." said Tyrone. "If we get caught by the police, we'll be experimented by those freaks at Swarm. I'm not going to be a prisoner that's waiting to be dissected and I'm not going to die that way. Neither of you want that too right?" said Lorelei.
Tyrone nodded with him stirring his stew in her bowel. He looked at his younger brother and their friend with him saying,"You're right Lorelei but we'll get caught. We keep robbing from those bases and eventually, they'll come back to get us. I think we need to be smarter since eventually, we'll get Zero's attention.". "How are we getting Zero's attention?" said Randy. Tyrone looked at Lorelei with the trio hearing,"And that's where we come in children.".
The trio got up as they saw two adults ,a male and female, standing there. The male looks to be muscular and gigantic being eight feet tall. Unlike the woman, he didn’t look human. His body is covered in dark gray scales over his chest, head, neck, and shoulders with the scales over his arms and legs being dark blue. He has several red scars over his body. He has a vertical football shaped head and long pointed chin. He has short cut black hair and red eyes surrounded by black sclera.
He has noticeable dark circles around his eyes being that it's caused from a long of sleep. He has five claws with webbed feet and hands. He has five sharp fangs sticking out of his mouth. He has noticeable red vein like gills on the side of his neck. He has fin like ears. He’s wearing a black tactical combat/suicide vest with an orange/red skull and crossbones insignia on the back and front of the vest. He’s wearing a sleeveless white muscle shirt.
He’s wearing black cargo pants with a thick gold belt and large belt buckle. He’s wearing a pair of black boots. He also has pieces of metal protecting his forearms, feet, and knees, with notable spikes on them. The woman is a pale skinned beauty. She has a slender, yet curvaceous toned figure. This is made apparent with ripped broad shoulders, buxom and round breasts, a toned stomach, a heart-shaped butt, and long muscular yet shapely legs.
She has long golden blonde hair ,that reaches the middle of her back, and bright blue eyes. She wears a black, tight-fitting jumpsuit with five white stripes on her arms, five white stripes on her legs, three white stripes on her waist. She wears black flats. It has a gold collar and armbands. Lorelei could tell that these two weren't members of Swarm. Her ankles and wrists glowed pink as the two adults were captured in vines with several Venus Flytraps, hissing at them.
The man laughed with him saying in a deep, monster like growl,"
Oh wow. Look at her Ibis. She's a strong one isn't she? The boss wasn't kidding.". "Indeed Bulwark. mind letting us down? We're here not to capture you for Swarm or any group. We want to help you." said Ibis. Lorelei looked at them with Randy saying,"We should trust them. I don't want them to die.". "We won't! We can take anyone who tries to capture us!" said Tyrone, slamming his fists down on the table.
This little incident caused the stew to cover Lorelei in the soup with her looking right at Tyrone who whistled. "I think you made her mad." said Bulwark. "So who are you two? And how did you find our base?" said Lorelei. "We're from an group and wish to help you escape this life of being common thieves. We'll also help you there against Avalon, Swarm, and the biggest threat on Earth the Alliance who'll sent you to get dissect." said Ibis. Randy and Tyrone looked at Lorelei who sighed.
Bulwark and Ibis landed on the ground with the male making a small crater in the ground and the female floating down using light. "You're metas like the three of us!" said Randy. "Yeah but we've got more experience evading the Alliance." said Bulwark. "So what's your plan to help us then?" said Tyrone. "You need to trust us. That's all you need to do." said Ibis. "Okay. You better not be lying to us." said Lorelei. "We aren't." said Ibis with Bulwark crossing his fingers behand his back.
Upon arriving at the Pleasant Plaza, Zane ,deactivating Swift Form, stood outside and he said,"Yep. I think this hotel makes Roland's hotels look tacky.". The CEO walked inside with a steward asking for his bag. "Um no thanks. I got it but thanks anyways." said Zane. The steward sulked away with Kane saying,"
You really don't want people finding about you being Zero do you?". "Yeah. I've kept my secret identity for at least six years. Kinda wanted to make it ten." said Zane.
He walked up to the concierge at the front desk, smiling at him. "Um hi. The name is Zane Alvarez and apparently, my friend has rented out a room for me here at the Pleasant Plaza." said Zane. "Of course sir. Right this way. I'll take you to your rooms." said the concierge. Zane followed her with him walking past a woman. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane walked past her. She’s a fairly tall woman with a slender yet muscular attractive body.
She has long brown hair with it going up to her shoulders and part of it was in a ponytail. She has dark green eyes. Fitting the area, she has tanned skin. She’s wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, and brown high heeled sandals. She has white cross shaped pearl earrings. "So how and why is she a danger to you Zane? She looks like a normal human." said Twilight. "No idea. I would go find out but I'll find out eventually knowing my luck Twilight." said Zane, with him following the concierge.
As the elevator closed behind Zane, the woman looked at the elevator. "Agent Reagan. Do you have eyes on him?" said a voice. The woman touched her left earring with her saying,"I do boss. I'm pretty sure that he knows that I'm watching him. Don't you trust him?". "I do but I'm cautious. I've been very lucky to have kept some secrets for him. Just keep an eye on him and the two I've selected as well." said the voice. "Will do." said Reagan, leaving the hotel.
As Zane walked into the room through silver double doors, he smiled. "Wow Silas. You really do spoil me." said Zane. His room is split into two main segments, the center where people enter and the right side with the bed and bathroom were. The room is primarily gold on the floor and ceilings and green on the walls. It's dark green patterned fabric with gold outlines. The center section is dominated by a large black circular couch around a circular wooden table.
Above the table is a diamond chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There is a door to the right of the room and several green colored paintings adorn the walls along with several desks with vases of red flowers. The right side has a pair of green curtains and gold decorative markings on the white floor at the entrance. To the left, there are two doors. One of which leads to the bathroom with white square floor tiles, a large bathtub and a large mirror next to the bathtub.
At the end of the room is a large king sized bed raised above the rest of the room with green duvet covers and white pillows. Two bedside tables with lamps are on either side of the bed and this area of the room is illuminated by several lights running along the edges of the ceiling. "Wish Rae was here with me. Good room for our honeymoon." said Zane, throwing his bag onto the bed. "
Which is never gotten to happy. I mean you proposed to her so when are you two tying the knot?" said Cole.
Zane sighed as he said,"Yeah. I mean I proposed with the promise that I would keep her safe from whatever the Omniverse throws at me but we've both been busy.". "
Excuses Zane. So what have you got on these Scavengers Athena?" said Kane. "
From what the Alliance has on them, one has super speed, one has electricity manipulation, and one can control plants and energy. It's two boys and a girl. Pretty powerful metas." said Athena.
Azalea said,"
And under certain circumstances, they've very dangerous enemies.". "
Correct. It seems that they're scared of being hunted down by Swarm. Avalon is a secret organization but Swarm is a public organization whose experiments toward Phantoms are known mainly thanks to the director of Swarm's hate campaign." said Athena. "
Yeah. Her and Curtis should get together since they hate you Zane." said Lucifer.
Sivarth said,"
And Silas brought here to get through to five people. Whatever you and Silas are planning for is coming soon right?". "Yep. I got a bad feeling and I need to be ready for it. I won't do it alone since I have you guys but it doesn't hurt to have allies. We'll probably go after them first since one of them is in school and the other one's Impulse isn't in the area." said Zane. "Yeah but they'll turn and run as soon as they see us. They're scared of being hunted." said Twilight.
Zane nodded with Cole saying,"
So how will Zane do that? I mean if they're scared of him, they'll run from him. Maybe Crimson Spade?". "
Cole. I think we should try and talk with them as a hero rather than an anti-hero. Remember. Those three have been seen as villains or treated differently due to them having powers. I'm sure that the cases with metas. Instead of standing around and do nothing about it, lets go and play it by ear.". Zane nodded as he turned into Legion Zero and flew off.
That night, the trio of Lorelei, Randy, and Tyrone stood on top of the rooftops of a building and they looked concerned. "Are you sure about this?" said Randy. "If you have a better idea brother, I'm all for it. We were bullied here before we got power remember?" said Tyrone. "And this is to survive. It should have been us but Bulwark and Ibis can be helpful to our survival." said Lorelei. "Helpful how?" said Randy.
As this was going on, Zane ,in Camouflage Form, was watching over them. "
Despite it being real easy to find them, I do feel kinda bad beating them up. I mean from what I can guess, their metagene just activated. They're just innocent kids right? I mean they haven't killed anyone unlike most of team Legion Zero." said Cole. "
Yeah. I may be a killer We'll have to do that since violence is the only way to get through to stubborn teens." said Zane.
Zane deactivated his camouflage and deactivate the form with him coughing loudly. This got the trio's attention with them seeing the protector of Earth behind them, smiling. "So do you guys like hanging on rooftops? I mean from what I've heard about you three, you seem to be here up a lot. I mean I like it too but I'm more of a people person you know." said Zane. "Oh god! It's Legion Zero! I am such a fan!" said Randy.
Lorelei and Tyrone looked at the taller teen with him shrugging at the two. "What? He's really cool you guys." said Randy. "Thanks for being a fan." said Zane. "Listen Zero. You're not going to send us to Swarm!" said Tyrone. "Um. You do know that I hate them right? Why would I give you guys to them? I mean just wow." said Zane. "Fine! If you're not going to give us to Swarm, you'll give us to Avalon or even worse, the Alliance!" said Lorelei.
Zane blinked with him saying,"Okay. I don't know how you guys know about Avalon but the Alliance is out there to help you. They've helped countless metas all across the planet.". Crisis Judgement went off as Randy fired a burst of electricity at him. "I'm really not the bad guy here." said Zane. He turned into Cryptid Form, firing a sonic scream toward where the trio was. However, the trio turned out to be a hologram image made out of light. "
Uh oh. They got some help and I know who." said Zane.
Crisis Judgement went off as Zane evaded Bulwark charging at him. "
Bulwark! What are you doing here?! I thought you were in prison after I made fun of your football head and defeated you like real easy." said Zane. "Screw you Zero." said Bulwark. "
I like guys you know that right? Your insult wouldn't work if I found you attractive but I don't." said Zane with him smiling. "Shut up! I'll get you back in the day for beating me as that ram." said Bulwark, throwing two fireballs at Zane.
Zane easily dodged them with blasting him with a sonic scream and laser beam combo. The man went back as Zane deactivated Cryptid Form and turned into Cyber Form, making two bright green energy swords. He blocked several plants coming at him. Lorelei stood there on a giant plant with the duo of Randy and Tyrone charging at him. Randy fired several bursts of electricity at him with the older brother charging at him faster than normal.
The robot moved some nearby metal in front of him, working as a lightning rod for Randy's attacks and Zane kicked Randy in the chest. "
Look. I don't know why you guys are working with scaly but he's serious trouble. I just want to talk." said Zane. "Don't listen to him kids. He's a really bad man despite pretending to be a hero!" said Bulwark, releasing a burst of flames from his mouth and forced Zane to go back.
Crisis Judgement went off as Zane dodged Randy's kick with him getting blasted by two bursts of electricity from Tyrone. Bulwark charged toward Zane with him punching Zane to the edge of the rooftop. "Good work kids!" said Bulwark. "
Don't listen to him. He's a bad guy." said Zane with Crisis Judgement going off. Several large vines came bursting out of the ground, trapping Zane where he stood and the hero looked up to see Lorelei standing there on her plant.
The girl's ankles and wrists were glowing pink with Zane saying,"
Hold on a second. You remind me of someone.". Before he could get an answer, several Venus flytraps appeared and they covered any part of Zane that wasn't already covered by vines. They bit down on him, growling. "
Heh! I guess you forgot about me being made out of metal huh? And this vine prison isn't going to hold me for too long since I'm full of surprises." said Zane, turning into
Storm Form.
He released a blizzard from his body, freezing the plants and he broke out of them. Before the others could do anything, Zane released another blizzard and this caused the boys to be send into the edge of the rooftop. Zane made a ball of ice appear in his hands, throwing it right toward Lorelei. The ball easily connected with the girl and this froze her entire body up to her neck in ice, causing her to shiver in fear.
The plant that she was standing on was frozen as well. "Guys! Help me!" stuttered Lorelei. Bulwark ,who really doesn't like the cold but was using his fire to keep his body temperature warm, jumped toward the frozen plant. The mutant used his flames to melt the ice from Lorelei with the shivering girl falling into his arms. "You better not get any ideas." said Lorelei, with her face blue. "Not my type of woman. Come on you two. We're leaving! She's done!" said Bulwark.
Randy and Tyrone nodded with Randy firing a wave of lightning at Zane. The hero didn't do anything to stop Randy's attack with him charging right toward them. Before he could do anything, his shadow came alive and grabbed him by turning into tendrils, trapping him to the ground. He looked to see Ibis flying with the four on a light problem. "
Okay. I get it now. You two are working with them because of....." said Zane with the woman smiling.
She released a brilliant light, covering the area in light. Zane closed his eyes with him slowly opening to see that the quartet was gone and the quintet was gone. "Okay. I guess those three came in contact with Bulwark and Ibis. Two known associates of the Odium Society. Skull Plague must want them for something right?" said Twilight as Zane deactivated Storm Form. "Yeah. I think those two villains did something to their brains since they work with Lyle." said Zane.
Kane nodded with him saying,"
Didn't he work for Swarm despite being a fallen angel? Let me guess. Tara's crazy aunt fired him because he didn't want to murder beings different from her and she just hates Phantom sympathizers.". "
At the rate she's firing people, Vicky will be out of a job. So how will you get to those three? From what I know, they don't seem like the most open people and they're probably mind controlled." said Azalea.
Zane smiled with him saying,"Don't worry. It's going to plan. I got a C.O.N.E. on the fast moving meta when he tried to hit me earlier and Bulwark. We'll get them but not right now.". "
Um why?" said Lucifer. "If I know Bulwark and Ibis, they wouldn't dare try to attack somewhere twice and I think it's time to pay our friend Nolan a visit." said Zane, turning into Turbo Form and flying off to a different part of town.
On a nearby rooftop, Agent Reagan put her binoculars and said,"Yep. Intel was right. Bulwark and Ibis have come in contact with the Scavengers. Do you suggest that I....". "
Tell Silas I said hello and also, cancel any plan you have on hurting those kids." said a voice. Reagan turned around to see Zane ,currently in Detective Form, with him saying,"
Like the new outfit you're wearing. Beats your old one but what can I say? I dig spy suits and my fiancee knows this.".
Reagan is wearing a full-length form-fitting black short sleeve bodysuit. It’s zipped up in the front with a silver “A” on the shoulders. It has silver padding in the knees and shoulders. She’s wearing a gray utility belt with it containing several ammo cartridges in it. She’s wearing knee-high black high heeled boots with gray gloves. She has a gun holster strapped to her legs being that they look like Glock 26 but they’re not standard issue.
The woman looked at him with her saying,"How did you know I was here? And where did that clone of you go Zero?". "
To go get some booze at my hotel. I'm not going after those kids since things have changed for the worst. I also have an eye in the back of my head." said Zane. "Yeah. Silas said that you would know about me being here using those senses of yours." said Reagan. "
Okay since you know why I'm here. Why are you?" said Zane.
Reagan sighed as she said,"Silas thinks I can help you out with the Rythos thing. Heard about him being a fan of the feminine form and well, Alyssa is busy.". "
Yeah. I've heard about that side of him. At least, he's better than Rico." said Zane. "All men are better than Rico. So since you have a plan for both Rythos and the Scavengers. What about Nolan?" said Reagan. "
It's very simple. So how good are your acting chops?" said Zane, earning a confused look from Reagan.
At the old warehouse, the Scavengers plus Bulwark and Ibis were there. Bulwark laid Lorelei on the couch with him groaning. "I knew that they were going to send you kids someone to take care of you but Zero. Man, you kids would be screwed if we weren't here." said Bulwark. "Do you think Zero is after us though? I mean he only attacked us after I blasted him." said Randy. "That's what he wants you to think Randy. Look at Lorelei. Would a good guy do something like that?" said Ibis.
She made a ball of light in her hands with it hitting a candle, lighting up and Bulwark used his flames to warm her up. "That form he used on you kids is no joke. Storm Form is up there alongside that god form of his." said Bulwark. "Yes. Bulwark here remembers how Zane threw a thunderbolt at him back in the day." said Ibis. "But Randy has a point. Zero may want to help us since he said that I remind him of someone. Maybe he knows who my parents are." said Lorelei.
She was slowing gaining color in her face with Tyrone said,"Come on Lorelei. No one knows about your deadbeat parents. All that you know is that they abandoned you when you were a baby. Because of that, you've been forced to steal from people all over Hawaii. Sure it was for you to survive but he doesn't know that. He sees you as a criminal Lorelei and as a "superhero", he'll bring you to justice like he has done to all of his villains.".
Lorelei and Randy looked at him with Randy saying,"Um bro. Are you okay?". "I'm fine. I just don't want to get captured by him. Zero won't listen to us." said Tyrone. "Tyrone. We'll keep you, your brother, and friend safe from Zero and the Alliance. Zero doesn't listen and makes sure that you follow. Isn't that right Bulwark?" said Ibis. "Yeah. Just trust us." said Bulwark. The two villains didn't know that the C.O.N.E. was sending out a signal to Zane.
The next day, Rythos was on Earth. He wasn't planning on coming to Earth but when one of his good friends ask to see him, he'll be there as soon as he can. He was walking through Sunset Shores and holding a bottle of someone of the finest ale in the Omniverse. The Magnus was dressed in different attire than his battle garb. According to Zane, this is how normal humans dress and Rythos wanted to blend in among the humans.
He's wearing a blackish short sleeve shirt with a blue collar. It has a silver sun shaped pattern in the center of it. This shirt made it clear that he had muscles and were on clear display for all to see. His guns would be on display but he's wearing a brown leather jacket. He's wearing blue jeans with a solid brown belt on them and was wearing his boots that he wore in his battle garb. For a quick reminder of his footwear, they are large brown boots that go up to his knees.
They have black straps near the top and around the ankles. Despite dressing like a human, Rythos forget something. He's seven feet tall, having muscles for days, and has very noticeable white hair. He'll sticks out among normal humans. Upon arriving on Earth, he had sensed a familiar Impulse other than his friend's. It was an Impulse that the god of the sun hadn't felt for a very long time. Before he could do anything about it, a loud explosion rang out.
As the god turned his head toward the explosion, several cars were being tossed through the air. "So I'm going to guess that this is normal for humans if Zane is right about what he has told me." said Rythos with his arms crossed. As more vehicles went flying through the air, Rythos ran toward the destruction to see what was going on. Upon arrival, he saw four metas trashing the city. Rythos recognized three of them from Zane's stories being the trio of Berserk, Rampage, and Steamroller.
Those three ,according to Zane, are all brawn and no brain. The only one that the god of the sun didn't know seem to be the leader of this little group. He looks to be an average male height with him being 5 foot 10. He looks to have a slightly muscular build. This makes him short compared to the trio of Berserk, Rampage, and Steamroller. He looks to be half human and robot, making him a cyborg. The left half of his body is human and the right half is robotic.
The human half has fair light red skin and a green colored eye. He has reddish-brown hair with it having a gray streak and going down to his chin. He has half of a goatee going on. His ear is pointed. The entire right half of his body looks to be made out of metal. The right half of his face is a bright silver metallic human skull. The right eye socket is glowing a red color. The right side of his mouth is a gray mouth piece that clashes heavily with his organic mouth.
His right ear is a piece of gray metal, that was mimicking his organic ear. His right shoulder is a black spherical sphere with a red circle in the center of it. His right arm ,with it being a gray color, is made out of the same metal as his body with his fingers being sharp claws. He’s wearing a black long sleeved shirt with the right sleeved ripped off, exposing his metallic arm. It has three red circles ,that formed a triangle, in the center of the shirt.
He wears blue jeans with gray boots ,with glowing red lines, and gray gloves. Around his head, he has a silver band with a glowing red light in the center. The group appeared to be concentrated on a large armored truck. It has a strange emblem ,that Rythos presumed to be from a local business that Zane told him was called a bank, painted on the side. Rampage placed his hands on the vehicle's metal doors and turned them into swords.
The meta cut up a hole in it, with the hole exposing the money inside of the truck. "Look what I got for us boss." said Rampage. The cyborg smiled with him saying,"
Good work Rampage. Get what you can and we're out of here fast.". Watching all of this happen, Rythos glared at them. He set his bottle of booze outside and headed toward the group. As he got close to them. he focused Impulse into his right hand and opened his palm.
From out of nowhere, something appeared and went flying toward Rythos at an unattainable speed. It collided with Rythos's hand, revealing it to be Warbringer. Upon coming in contact with the Magnus's hand, a beam of solar energy covering him from top to bottom. His casual clothes were completely gone, replaced with his battle garb but now having his signature helmet that he didn't have at the Extinction Colosseum. It's a gold helmet that shines like the sun above.
The powerful burst of light drew the attention of the four, turning to Rythos as the light faded and they were about to face off against a god. Rythos smiled with him saying,"While I'll admit that humans are stronger than I and my fellow gods initially thought thanks to a friend of mine's actions, I suggest that you stand down and I may spare your lives. If you wish to continue to your criminal actions, prepare to have a beating from the God of Sun!".
After hearing this little speech from him, the trio of Berserk, Rampage, and Steamroller began laughing out loud. "Get a load of this fool! Can you seriously believe this boss?" said Steamroller. "
While he may be foolish for telling me what I should do, you three should team him a lesson. We can't waste too much time on him since we have places to be and people to steal from." said the cyborg. "Yes sir. I'll be glad to do that" said Berserk.
Rythos sighed with him saying"Fine. I decided to give you a chance but I guess the stereotypes of Terrans being too stupid to listen to reason is true. Fine. Time to fight another fight my axe!". The Magnus bent his knees, grabbing his axe with both hands and launched himself toward the four villains with him breaking the ground where he once stood. Before the villains could do anything, Rythos sent the four of them in different directions.
They crashed into different objects with the Magnus smiling. "
Fine! He wants to die! Destroy him Berserk and Rampage!" said the cyborg. One of the two metas went toward Rythos with Rampage sending a wave of cement at the Magnus. Before the cement could hit Rythos, the god sliced his axe in front of him and released a wave of solar energy from the blade upon doing this. This wave of light sliced through the cement wave much to Rampage's shock.
As this was happened, Berserk was about to hit him. The god easily saw this coming from a mile away and uppercut the bull like meta into the air. This sent him flying toward the armored car and the god threw his axe into the air. The weapon began spinning and covering it with solar energy, making a sun like construct in the air. It fired a beam of solar energy at Berserk and sent the meta into the armored car, making a noticeable dent in the roof.
The three remaining villains all turned to Rythos ,holding his axe, with anger. "So have you learned your place yet? Am I saying that? I'm sorry that my quipping isn't as good as my friend. He's around here." said Rythos, looking around for Zane. "Not in your life time your brightness!" said Steamroller with him charging at Rythos. The man punched Rythos in the face in a rapid fire fashion and sent him flying with his final punch and the Magnus hit the side of a car.
As this was going on, Rampage made several hammers of cement come out of his body and began smashing Rythos with them. Steamroller's hit caused him to drop his axe, making a crater around the powerful weapon of the sun. "You're pathetic without your overgrown knife huh your brightness?" said Rampage. The living tar attempted to pick up the axe and was going to use it to slice Rythos's head off with it.
However, he couldn't do it and felt pain upon coming in contact with him. He looked down to see that his body was bleeding. "What the hell?! How am I bleeding? I just touched the damn thing!" said Rampage. While this was happened to him, the cement barrage of hammers stopped as Rythos stood back up and showed no sign of injury from them much to the cyborg's anger. "It seems that she has denied you her power but she hasn't with me!" said Rythos, holding out his left hand.
The axe flew into the air, flying toward Rythos who caught it and smacking Rampage in the back of his head. Upon catching it, the axe began glowing bright with solar energy. "I think it's time to end you with the power of the sun!" said Rythos. Rythos tossed the axe into the air with it making the sky around it glowing really bright. The axe began firing several beams of solar energy down toward the three strong metahumans but the cyborg flew away from them just in time.
As he was flying away, he watched as his hired help was crying out in pain and agony as they were being blasted with several beams of raw sunlight. They all fell onto their knees with them groaning in pain. Rythos looked at them with a smirk on his face. "And that's a wrap!" said Rythos, grabbing his hammer. He didn't noticed that the cyborg was gone but the police began moving in on the area and a long bell rang out.
Rythos turned out to see that it was now 2:00 in the afternoon with his eyes opening. "Oh no. I'm late to my meeting with Zane!" thought Rythos. He turned to see where he had placed his bottle of booze with his eyes widening once again. The bottle was destroyed, covering the area in glass and booze with him sighing loudly. "Why must you ruin the amazing booze of the Magnus fate?!" thought Rythos as he was gone in a beam of sunlight much to the shock of the police.
The duo of Reagan and Zane sat out at the patio of the Pleasant Plaza. From their table, the agent could see the dust and smoke from the battle not too far from them. "So are you sure about it about leaving those four to Rythos?" said Reagan. "Yeah. I mean Rythos is a Magnus and easily a much better fighter than Berserk, Rampage, and Steamroller combined. In terms of a mental battle, he would lose to Heretic but that's only one factor. The the odds in his favor." said Zane, sipping on a cocktail.
Reagan sighed as she said,"I really should have expected this but I'm not used to this world of gods and metas. I'm going to guess that Rachel is used to you being late for your dates.". "Yeah. I can't ignore a cry for help and I'm pretty sure that Rythos is the same." said Zane as he took another sip from his drink. "Friend!" said a voice. The agent turned to see Rythos ,in his casual wear, running toward them and holding a new bottle of booze in hands.
Zane smiled with him saying,"Nice to see you Rythos. Thanks for the booze. I always enjoy a good drink especially when it comes from the Cosmic Dominion.". "You're welcome my good friend. So who is this? Is the lady you're courting?" said Rythos. "Nope. My name is Agent Reagan of the Alliance. I'm here along with Zane to see if you're willing to help us out. Me and Zane are just coworkers and nothing more. Understand?" said Reagan.
Rythos looked at Zane with the Magnus saying,"Is that why you called me here to Earth?". "Yes and no big guy. You've sensed it too right? A strong Impulse that isn't mine." said Zane. "Um. What's going on?" said Reagan. "It's hopefully nothing Agent Reagan but there is someone from where I'm from causing trouble on Earth. I thought she was dead but nope, she's stubborn like a fox. So are we going after her?" said Rythos. "Nope. We're going after the devil." said Zane. "Huh?" said Rythos.
On the other side of town, a car had parked outside of a two floor light gray house with a front porch, dark brown roof, and brown stone steps. There is a backyard surrounded by a high wooden fence with a pool there. The car in question is a black ,with a flame like pattern on the left and right side of the car, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grant Sport/DMC DeLorean. It has a visible blower sticking out of the hood. It has five nitrous oxide tanks hidden under the hood.
The car's gear shift has the word "Skull" etched into the handle. The driver came out with him looking to be eighteen years old. He's tall for his age group with him being that he’s 5 foot 10. The average height for a male ,around his age, is about 5 foot 9. He has a thin, muscular build. He's bi-racial being that his father is Mexican and his mother is British. He has olive colored skin which he got from his father.
He has his father’s chestnut brown hair and has his mother’s emerald green eyes. His brown hair is separated by strands of very distinctive white hair. He has a large scar on his back. It’s about six inches long and goes across his right shoulder blade. He's wearing a navy blue ,with three maroon stripes vertical flame like stripes, red leather biker style jacket. The cuffs of the jacket are usually rolled up to his elbows. It has black accents.
The teen's undershirt is a white long-sleeve shirt with a maroon circle in the center of the shirt. In the center of the circle, there is a navy blue tattered star. He wears blue denim jeans with gray cuffs and a gray belt. He’s wearing dark blue and white sneakers with black laces. He’s wearing black, fingerless gloves over his hands. The gloves expose the palm of his hands, that are strapped together over his wrists. He wears a metal gray necklace with a black string.
His ears are pierced with a gold devil skull stud in each ear. He wears a very distinct looking ring on his left middle finger. It has a thick band with a circle surface with three pointed diamond shapes forming a triangle. The circle surface had a black star-shaped emblem. On the band, there is strange silver writing etched into it. On his right wrist, there is a long, black wristband. It’s secured to his arm by a black stripe with a silver skull shaped buckle.

He turned to see his mom and younger sister sitting there with a stranger. The stranger is Zane. The mother is Caucasian. The mother is an adult woman with light skin and very short blond hair with bangs covering her forehead. She has a gentle chin and nose. She has emerald green eyes just like her son. She had just gotten back from her job as a psychologist with two PhDs. She's wearing a white short sleeved shirt with a folded collar.
She's wearing black capris with visible pockets and seams down the sides. She's wearing short black heels. She has her pearl earrings on. The little sister is eight years old and has
Spina Bifida. She has olive colored skin just like her brother and father. She has her mother's blond hair and her father's brown eyes. She has a blue hair clip in her hair with a drill symbol. She's wearing a light blue shirt with a white LZ symbol on it. She's wearing blue jeans and purple shoes.
The living room is a small room. It has red carpet and light orange, striped wallpaper. A painting of pineapple hangs on the wall. There is a couch with the two family members sitting there, a large potted plant in the form of a palm tree, and a coffee table on the floor. There was a lounge chair being that Zane was sitting there ."Ah Nolan. There is someone here to see you." said the mother. "Sup. It's nice to meet you Nolan." said Zane, flashing him his signature smile.
Nolan blinked with him saying,"Um hi. Nice to meet you too.". "Hey big bro. This guy here is best friends with Legion Zero! The second coolest hero on Earth!" said the sister. "And who would be the first one if you don't mind me asking Briana? I mean Legion Zero is pretty cool but hey, you can have a different favorite hero. Nothing wrong with that." said Zane. "My big brother! I mean we move here from Nirrol Boulevard, Nevada to help with my treatment." said Briana, smiling brightly.
Zane looked at her with him saying,"Ah. That town is about an hour from Las Vegas and was a crime filled one mainly due to the Copper Cobras gang. It was recently freed of its criminal influence by a vigilante. Rumor is that it was the literal devil.". "Yeah. So why are you here Zane? I mean you're some big shot CEO from Florida." said Nolan. "Yep. I sure am but the reason I'm here is because of a certain someone ignoring my friend's emails and phone calls." said Zane.
Nolan looked at Zane with the Cross Species saying,"You doing that has got him pretty riled up. I'm not the normal errand boy by the way since it's an errand guy and a sexy one according to my friend who you'll meet later hopefully if things go according to plan. To get back on track here, I should tell you that the guy whose calls and email you've been ignored and throwing away hates being ignored like a lot.". "Um yeah of course. Just thought it was spam and telemarketers." said Nolan.
The teen was confused at how some business executive knows this. "Why didn't you tell me about this Nolan? I mean we don't keep secrets from each other." said the mom. "Yeah but to be fair, you really do get spam and telemarketers a lot at Nolan's age. May I have about five minutes alone with him Maureen? It shouldn't take too long since I'm a fast talker." said Zane. "Um sure Zane. You can talk in Nolan's room which I hope isn't a mess." said Maureen. "It isn't mom." said Nolan.
A bit later, Nolan watched Zane lock his bedroom door as he said,"Just in case your sister decided to listen in. Got a little sister around her age and let me tell you. She's a pretty noisy girl and totally gets it from her mom. Oh wow. I mean I heard about you being a car nut but to have a model replica of the Astral Tank. That's impressive.". He pointed to the model of the Astral Tank with Nolan said,"Yeah. I made it using known photos of it. So who are you? And how did....".
Nolan was stopped by Zane with him saying,"Sorry kid. This is where I'm going to stop you there. So I have to ask. Does mom and sis know about you doing this every night?". Nolan looked at Zane whose phone was projecting a holographic image of a creature fighting against Avalon clones. "Um no. What are you...." said Nolan. "Come on kid. Do you really think Silas wouldn't know about some teenager taking down the Copper Cobras by himself I might add. Impressive." said Zane.
The phone began showing the creature fighting against gangs with the Cross Species saying,"From what I heard, the Copper Cobras had got their hands on powerful weapons thanks to the other modern day Nazis. It wasn't easy. Got to say that you got some skills to pay the bills. I mean do your mom know about you got the money to pay for sweet Briana's treatment.". "Listen. I mean I know the guy you're talking about but I'm not him." said Nolan.
Zane rolled his eyes with him saying,"Uh and I'm not a asshole who doesn't know when to shut his mouth.". "Okay. That makes no sense." said Nolan. "It's sarcasm dude. If you're going to keep lying to me Nolan, I guess I have to force you into becoming the devil or Diablo. Not an original name by the way but what do I know? I'm awful with names." said Zane, snapping his fingers. Nolan and Zane were warped away by an dark indigo spiral like portal.
Nolan landed on the ground with him seeing that he was in his high school's gym which should be having a basketball game but no one was here. There were karate mats everywhere. "How did you get me here......" said Nolan. "I didn't. My pal Legion Zero did and he was in the room. I mean he was in Nano Form and telling me about you lying so I decided to get the answers out of you." said a familiar voice.
The teen turned to see Zane standing there with him wearing a blackish red sleeveless training gi with his grayish black jeans, Z.E.R.O. Armor belt, and his black, purple, and white tennis shoes. All of his accessories were gone. "You're going to fight me? I mean you're just a CEO." said Nolan. "Have you not watched Ultimate Showdown?" said Zane. "No. That TV show is just the worst. So I hope you're ready to lose because I don't have anything to say." said Nolan.
Zane smirked with him saying,"How about instead of talking, you show me how you're not Diablo Nolan Lancaster.". Nolan began to rush toward Zane with him throwing the first punch. Zane dodged the punch and countered with him side kicking to the chest. Nolan was shocked by how fast Zane had countered him and sent him flying into the air, knocking him out of bounds. "If a crowd was here, I'm sure they would be cheering me on like nothing else." said Zane.
Nolan got back up with him continuing to be knocked down by Zane. Zane was trying to end the fight with a single strike and to monitor his strength. "So are you going to go devil on me? I mean you're not a technical devil but going Diablo is the only way to regain your pride. I mean you don't want me to tell Briana about you being Diablo right? I get keeping it a secret from them but I'm not here to hurt them I promise." said Zane.
The teen looked up with him saying,"Fine. You want me to be Diablo? Fine! I'm Diablo!". As he said this, gold energy appeared from his hands. His skin began to melt away upon coming in contact with the gold energy. His eyes slow changes color from emerald green to ruby red. Upon the last of his skin melts away, his body changes. His olive colored skin is replaced by silver scales. His ears become pointed and his teeth got sharp. His fingers and toes have claws.
He grows a long tail with the end of it looking like a mace. He has two large black and silver wings with them covering in a golden aura. His face is fully covered by a silver star shaped skull mask. It has black lines supporting the sides of the eye holes. There are two eye holes, making his ruby red eyes are apparent. The mask covers the rest of his head in gold energy. He wears a black ,actually chainmail, long sleeved sweat shirt with ruby red armor over it.
Nolan's chestplate is made up of three pieces that are held on by two thick brown straps going over his shoulders. The chestplate has a logo in the center of it. It’s a black star-shaped emblem. The brown straps are covered by gold pauldrons. He wears black gloves. He wears silver plates over his calves and thighs. He wears dark blue pants. He wears a brown belt with a black star shaped belt buckle in the center. He wears black and gold boots with skull like chains wrapped around his boots.
He had a silver gauntlet resting on his left arm. It has a devil’s skull etched into it. Nolan roared with him saying,"
You happy now?!". "Peachy. Since you decided to go all out, I should as well." said Zane as he activated the Z.E.R.O. Armor. Nolan rushed toward Zane with him delivering a strong roundhouse kick to Zane's head. The kick was blocked and counted with a punch directly to Nolan's chest but unlike before, Nolan caught it.
The demon picked up Zane with him throwing into the air and breathing out gold energy out. The energy hit a white cloud instead of the armored hero. "Sorry but that isn't going to work. It may work on thugs and metas but not me." said Zane. Zane jumped off the cloud with him kicking Nolan in the chest, pushing him back. Zane performed a roundhouse kick himself with Nolan doing the same. "I won't say that you're bad but you're not winning this fight." said Zane.
Nolan was kicked in the side by Zane with Zane's kick sent him back thanks to the compressed air in his boot. It had an explosion after effect. "
You won't defeat me!" said Nolan, firing two gold beams of energy at Zane. "Like I haven't heard that before." thought Zane with him rolling his eyes. The hero held out his hands and much to Nolan's shock, the armor absorbed it. The two charged at each other with Zane switching between offense and defense.
With each hit they threw at each other, the other guarded using their mechanical or natural armor respectively. Zane was stuck in the gut by Nolan's dynamic punch. "Okay. That hurt. Guess I have to get serious." said Zane. The two began fighting with neither side backing down even for a second and Nolan tried to hit Zane with a clawed fist. However, Zane saw this coming. The gems on his boots glowed with Zane clicking his heels together. This released a burst of light, blinding Nolan.
While this was going on, Zane took action and deliver a fast punch right to the demon's gut with him using the stored up energy that the armor had gained during the fight and compressed air to knock Nolan onto the mat back first. To make sure that this was over, Zane deactivated the Z.E.R.O. Armor and put a Negation Collar around Nolan's neck. This turned Nolan back to normal with Zane saying with a smile,"I think I won but hey, you weren't half bad.".
Zane offered a hand to him with Nolan looking at it. "So what are you going to do to me? Turn me into Swarm so I can be dissected." said Nolan, taking it and helped him up. "I'm not with Swarm but I'm a friend. So who knows about this beside me and my friend who'll you meet eventually?" said Zane. "No one. Can you take this collar off? It's real itchy." said Nolan. "Wow. You're keeping this a secret even from your dear old mom and sister. That's cold or your case hot." said Zane.
Nolan shook his head as he said,"No way! If my mom knew, she would go crazy and my sis would want to help me out. I can't have them in danger Mr. Alvarez.". "Okay. I get that. I do the same thing as you but my family wanted to help me out. So how do you become a devil? Is it because of your ring or wristband." said Zane, pointing to them. "My ring granted me its power when I put it on after I was almost filled with bullets." said Nolan.
Zane nodded with him saying,"Uh huh. I read your file. The Alliance is quite through. That's why I'm here. I was here to ask you a simple question. Why are you a hero? I mean the Alliance gives me how you got your powers and how you used them so far. Got to say this though. You and I are going to totally make you into the best Diablo you can be with a lot of training.". "It's simple. I wanted to be someone who my sister sees as her hero." said Nolan.
The Cross Species looked at the teen with him saying,"I'm sure your file told you about how she already does but before I got this ring two years ago, I didn't feel like it. I was just some kid working on an auto parts store and studying to become a doctor who could pay to move me and my family out of there. The place I lived in was hell. Most of the day, I was worried sick about me and my sister getting shot up by the Cobras.". "Makes sense." said Zane.
Nolan sighed with him saying,"I wanted to tell them but I've read enough about superheroes to know that's a bad idea. I can't lose either of them. They're all that I have. When you have been given power like I was, what are you supposed to do with it? Like my dad always said, a hero can be anyone. They don't need a fancy suit of armor like you have or in my case, a ring. If you don't do anything that could help a single person, bad things could happen and that's on you.".
Zane looked at Nolan with him saying,"So you become Diablo in order to help free your town from the Cobras right? This is how you want to help the world be the best it could be right?". "Uh huh. I guess it's simple huh." said Nolan. "So why go after Avalon? I mean they're a secret group that only a couple people know about." said Zane. "Because they are the reason how the Cobras can to be such a bad threat that caused my dad's death and my sister's disability." said Nolan.
The Cross-Species looked at Nolan with him saying,"You're not doing this for revenge right? Because I can say that's a pretty common excuse for a anti-hero these days. So let me ask you a question. If you could help three metas out of a bad situation, what would you do?". "Well. I would first try and talk to them since like my mom always says, fighting only causes problems not solutions." said Nolan. "So you ready to go on a trial run?" said Zane. "A trial run for what?" said Nolan.
Zane smirked with him saying,"To see if your idea works. I mean I tried that and it didn't worked but they've been corrupted by those two metas.". Zane removed the collar as Nolan turned back into the demon. "
So um. Is it just us or what?" said Nolan. "Nope. We're in a group of four and hopefully, I get to drive your sweet car." said Zane. "

Later that night, Nolan parked his car outside of the Scavengers's warehouse with him saying to himself."I can't believe this is actually happening. Today started off normal and now, I'm going to be fighting metas with Legion Zero and the guy who fought in town today.". "Welcome to the world of powers kid. I just watched a literally god drink over thirty thousand cocktails and that was just in the first house." said his car's co pilot.
Nolan turned to see Reagan with him saying,"So do you have superpowers like those two do? And is Zane?". "Nope to the first question. Lets just say that Zane is good at convincing people with his mouth and Zero is good at convincing people with his fists. We would have tried Zane but those two metas that the kids met with work for a guy who has been known to trust minds for some very sick pleasure." said Reagan.
She placed a metal disk on the dashboard with Nolan saying,"So if Zane was right, these three kids probably were persecuted for their powers. Probably homeless and have nothing with everyone against you.". "You're right. I'm sure that we all want to get these kids away from a bad situation in the form of the Odium Society." said Reagan. "The Odium Society? I thought these two metas work for Avalon instead." said Nolan.
The metal disk glowed as a holographic image of Rythos and Zane ,in their battle garb and costume respectively, with Zane saying,"
And the kid has been grossly misinformed. The Odium Society is run by metas for metas. Anyone with powers or aren't human is welcome. We need to get those kids to see reasons. I can't get go since they've been told that I'm a criminal and working for the Alliance which is evil.". "

Tyrone got their attention by saying,"We're not going to jail you guys! Now focus. Lets show Zero what happens when you decide to mess with the Scavengers!" said Tyrone. "Okay. Since knocking like a girl scout didn't work, lets try knocking like a battering ram." said Reagan. The woman held her pistols with them firing out two green energy bullets. They blasted the door right open with several bolts of electricity coming their way.
Nolan jumped in front of Reagan, turning into his demonic form and blocked them. "
That's cute. Try something else." said Nolan. Tyrone ran out of their hideout and began rapidly punch Nolan. This did nothing but bother Nolan with him slamming Tyrone into the wall. Randy came out with a shout as he fired several electricity waves at Reagan. The agent dodged them before firing her pistols at the large boy, causing him to be pushed back.
Reagan charged at him with the duo going to into close combat with each other. Reagan charged at Randy, kicking the large boy in the chest and sending him fly. "
I thought that you said that you didn't have any powers." said Nolan. "My suit isn't just for turning people on." said Reagan with Nolan shrugging. He made several gold energy chains go around Randy, holding him in the air. "I need some help here!" said Randy.
Nolan looked inside to see a pink glow with several vines flying toward him. Nolan looked at them with him taking a deep breath. He released the gold energy from his mouth, destroying the plants where they stood. "How did you?" said Lorelei, standing there. Reagan ran toward her with the older woman tripping the younger one onto the ground. "Sorry but you're not classified to know that just yet. Now tell us where those two are or..." said Reagan.
From Nolan's shadow, Berserk appeared and punched Nolan with two large punches directly to the back. This hit pushed Nolan back with him groaning. "So you're Diablo huh? Guess Zero convinced you to join the wrong side like he was going to do did with those kids. You even brought an agent of the very evil Alliance with you. Not having the best day are you?" said Berserk. Heretic ,aka the cyborg, and Ibis appeared from Berserk's shadow as Reagan glared at them,
Heretic noticed this with him saying,"
Ah Agent Reagan. Let me guess. Agent Silver Moon was too busy to handle an assignment like this.". "Nope. I asked to help out my boss and this is what I got. It totally beats desk work any day. Don't you miss that Ibis?" said Reagan. "Not at all. I should inform you that your backup won't be arriving. They're currently in a maze of illusion that I had set up here and it took you all day." said Ibis.
The trio of villains plus the Scavengers heard,"
And I figured it out in about five minutes. Kinda sad how you villains always seem to be so confident until I come along and destroy it with an axe. Now Rythos!". From out of nowhere, Bulwark was hit in the face by Warbringer and Heretic growled. He watched the axe fly back to its owner Rythos and the Magnus stood next to Zane who was in Tombstone Form.
Rythos nodded with him saying,"So are you sure about this plan Zero? I wish not to hurt your eyes since you're in close proximity to I.". "
Yep. This form can handle the light and it's brightness so light them up old buddy!" said Zane. Rythos nodded with him making a giant ball of solar energy and threw into the air. He cast a spell, causing it to make a blinding light and caused everyone but the duo of Rythos and Zane to cover their eyes.
Zane rushed up to the Scavengers and placed them in a earth cage with the light slowly fading to reveal that the three villains were gone, leaving the teens behind. "Why do they flee agent?" said Rythos with his arms crossed. "Because villains care about themselves rather than others." said Reagan, putting her pistols away. "Please don't hurt us!" said Lorelei. "We didn't meant to steal that stuff! We were just doing it in order to survive!" said Randy.
Tyrone nodded with him saying,"Yeah! It was my idea and I don't want to lose my friends! Please don't have them dissected!". "
So where did you get that idea? The Alliance doesn't do that. The groups of Avalon and Swarm may." said Nolan. "Huh?" said Randy and Tyrone. "Yes. My friend here speaks the truth. On the night you met Zero, he wanted to help you guys and stop you from going down a path you'll....." said Rythos.
Zane ,deactivating Tombstone Form, stopped him with him saying,"Um Rythos. You may want to stop with the speech. I think we're too late. They made the wrong choice.". The Scavengers vanished with Nolan said as he turned back to normal,"So what happened? Did we fail?". "Nope. We'll just try again another time. I always believe in second if not eighty fifth chances. Oh and welcome to the Centurions Rythos and Nolan." said Zane. "Sweet." said Nolan.

Inside of a secret lab someone on Earth, a duo were standing behind a glass window observing a group of scientists surround a large grotesque creature on an operating table. The group who were watching this them consisted of Brood and Marionette. "
I still can't believe that this thing used to be one of the earth's biggest star." said Brood. "Yes but she was always a monster. Zero just brought it out and we're going to find out if we can use her." said Marionette.
Brood nodded as he said,"
So you manipulate not one but three males into helping you test Zero just because he's a friend of your ex. Man, you really live up to the name Marionette. Just happy that we're going to be using this thing for what the Omniverse is in store.". "And what would that be my dear Brood?" said a feminine voice. The two turned around to see the new mayor ,as of 2020, of Cypress Park being Lilith Rune aka Sovereign.
She hadn't changed too drastically in her tenure as mayor. "So are you his boss? I mean why would a Cross Species of Human and Phantom want Phantoms dead. I don't get Terrans." said Marionette. "I really doubt that a Magnus like yourself would waste an ounce of your eternal life on the affairs of mortal beings like ourselves." said Lilith. "You're right but for some reason, that fool Rythos wants to thanks to his friend being just like the both of you." said Marionette.
Brood nodded with him saying,"
Yeah. I don't get it either but whatever. The reason why I made sure to grab the subject before Avalon and Swarm could dissect her. We'll make weapons for the two groups and give them to the highest bidder. Look at those three go.". Marionette looked down to see the trio of Dr. Progeny, Lyle Stevens, and Noah Foster working on the subject. "And I'm sure that Swarm will pay the most since they recently lost Vicky." said Lilith.

The creatures in the Omniverse are disgusting to this one who lies before you. And this isn't the last time you've seen me. Phora, goddess of the Dusk." said Phora.
She was gone from the lab in a puff of neon green smoke as Brood turned toward Lilith with her arms crossed. "
So should we really trust her boss? I mean I don't since she's clearly up to something and her plans may interfere with ours." said Brood. "Yeah. She might. Our plans will happen since the Genesis Project is going to work with us if it works perfectly. So lets watch them work on the monster you've captured." said Lilith.
Down on the operating table below, the monstrously plague that was Miranda Manning of Ultimate Showdown was slowly waking up. For once in her life, she had absolutely no clue to where she was or what was going around her. Upon her vision returned to her, Miranda saw the duo of supernatural scientists Lyle and Dr. Progeny, the college scientist Noah, and several scientists wearing full body dark maroon hazmat/radiation suits with blackish red skull shaped visor.
They had gray armbands like the Nazis. However, they didn't have the swastika on it but a black N covered in flames. The former reality star saw the masked scientists heading toward her and holding various sharp objects in hand. "
What's going on?" said Miranda in a woozy yet screeching voice trying to move. "So it seems that the Mongrel has woke up. Totally thought that she would be out but I guess she got a lot of powers form Zero." said Progeny.
Miranda stuttered out,"
Mongrel?". She tried to get off the table but figured out that she was strapped onto the table with several straps and a Negation Collar around the area where her neck be. "
I'm not a mongrel. I'm a human being! I have rights you know!" said Miranda. "You did. Thanks to the Protector of Earth Zero, you're no longer human. I think he activated your metagene but instead of keeping you human looking, you've become Deviants like Rocco." said Lyle.
Progeny smiled with him saying,"So you're now a sampling of what we can use your unique biology for. I think we shouldn't use any pain killers. Pretty sure that the Negation Collar will regret one of your powers and hopefully, you scream.". "Wow. You're the mad scientist of this group aren't you Progeny?" said Noah. Miranda couldn't believe what she heard, these people and whatever two of them are going to cut up while she was awake.
The worse thing was that they were treating her like she was some sort of animal. She let out a very loud scream for help but the scientist ignored her as they went to work on their autopsy with Brood and Lilith watching from behind a window. Throughout the secret lab, the screams of a former human could be heard but there were used to this kind of experiments going on. All of this was for a great cause and if no one was going to save the monster Miranda Manning or Mongrel.

Nolan Lancaster aka Diablo’s History, Personality, and Power Description: Nolan Lancaster was raised in Nirrol Boulevard, Nevada. This town is about an hour away from Las Vegas. Before he became Diablo, Nirrol Boulevard was plague from top to bottom with gangs and made living a normal life practically impossible. He was the eldest son of Hector and Maureen Lancaster and the older brother to Briana Lancaster. Hector Venegas was an immigrant from Mexico and met his future wife Maureen Lancaster when she served him at the local coffee shop. The two started dating with Hector becoming a cop and Maureen being an impressive psychologist with five PhDs. When Hector was 26 and Maureen was 27, the two had their first son Nolan. They move to Nirrol Boulevard being that it wasn’t a terrible place to live at the time. This all changed when Nolan was five years old being that the Copper Cobras gang came into power. The gang’s rise to power was thanks to them working alongside Avalon. The gang was give power under a single promise. If they come in contact with anything that isn’t human such as metahumans or the supernatural, they’ll kill them. When Nolan was ten years old, his little sister Briana was born. However, she was born with Spina Bifida. This is due to Maureen was pushed down the stairs of her office by a Copper Cobra when pregnant with Briana. Hector was unaware of this but loved Briana regardless. As Nolan grew up, he grew tired of the Copper Cobras in his town and wanted to leave this hellhole. This desire to leave was because of his father being killed by the Copper Cobras ,when Nolan was twelve, when the Mexican protected a young meta from the gang. To support his family and his desire to leave, he worked as a mechanic part time and studied medicines. One day, everything changed for an sixteen year old Nolan. This day was a year after the Massacre in Cypress Park. Nolan was working on a customer’s car. Instead of it belonging it to a gang member or a normal citizen, it seem to belong to a billionaire. It was a black ,with a flame like pattern on the left and right side of the car, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grant Sport//DMC DeLorean. While he was admiring the car, his boss got his attention and told him about him getting paid. While checking over the money, Nolan asked him about who their client was. It was high tech and have a strange symbol etched in it. It had a silver shield like symbol in the center of their robes with a mobius strip being a gold color in the center of the shield. The boss told him to shut up because it isn’t their job to question the customer’s taste in cars and to get going. As Nolan was leaving the auto shop, the teenager noticed three strangely dressed man. Two of them were the clones of Avalon and the other one was Avalon’s leader called Uguisu. He would have reported this to the police but Nolan was sure that they weren’t part of the gang that controlled Nirrol Boulevard. Nolan went to go pick up Briana from her special private school/daycare since Maureen was out of the city on business. Upon arriving, Nolan saw three bullies from his high school playing with his sister's canes. The teen began fighting against them but was eventually overwhelmed by them upon the bullies's "big brother" showing up. The big brother was a Copper Cobra member and told Nolan not to mess with the Copper Cobras being that the three bullies were going to be members after tonight’s initiation at the Pro Racing Championship tonight. The four left the injured Nolan with Briana’s canes but took his paycheck as payment for messing with the Copper Cobras. Despite losing the fight, Briana saw her older brother as her favorite hero. While taking her home, Nolan was thinking about getting revenge on Copper Cobra tonight. They've hurt Nirrol Boulevard for too long and made the entire town suffer. After feeding Briana and tucking her for the night, Nolan began his revenge and it involve the Pro Racing Championship. He knew that the car that they got in the shop would be perfect. He went to his work and broke his way into the shop. He found the car and told himself that he was going to return before the boss man found out. As he drove out of the shop and onto the city streets, the teen didn’t look in his boss’s office to find the man dead with the words,”Copper Cobras” ,etched in blue fire, on his body and was slowly covering the shop in flames. Nolan arrived at the PRC. The Pro Racing Championship was a famous street race where people came from all corners of the street racing circuit just to compete. Not government stogie knows about this. Nolan arrived as the MC was announcing the prize for tonight’s street race. This street race’s prize was one hundred million dollars and an object of great power that was rumored to give someone super powers. While both the money and object was incentive enough for Nolan, the desire to defeat the three bullies ,who were racing for the Copper Cobras as their initiation, was stronger. He entered the street race as Diablo and offered up his car as payment for the race. Despite being a newbie driver, he was able to show up pros thanks to the car being more high tech than a normal street car. After taking the case of money and location for the object, the Copper Cobras gang had appeared. They came here after hearing about the initiates failing the race but they saw that the car that they though burned to the ground alongside the auto shop. It belonged to Avalon's boss Uguisu and they need to get the car back. The gang began firing at it with Nolan hiding inside of the car. Nolan noticed that the gang’s bullets was bouncing off the car, seeing that it was bulletproof. Nolan began driving away from the gang and learned how it was also explosion proof after the car was blasted by a rocket launcher. After losing his pursers, Nolan made his way to get the second half of his prize for winning. He parked his car outside of an old abandoned church and broke his way inside using a crowbar that was in the trunk of a car. He found a small ancient looking wooden box on top of the podium where the priest would stand if this place was still used. Before he could open it up, he heard several cars drive up and hide in the priest office. From the office, he saw several gang members outside for him. He was scared to death, saying goodbye to his mom and sister with him apologizing to them and his dad. While praying, he looked down at the wooden box and opened to see what he was going to die for. It turned out to be a golden ring that looked to be very simplistic. It has a thick band with a circle surface with three pointed diamond shapes forming a triangle. The circle surface had a black star-shaped emblem. On the band, there is strange silver writing etched into it. These markings are later revealed to be Liasada, aka a mixture of ancient and modern day Greek, and it says the ring’s true power will be revealed to the ring’s chosen wielder. He hoped that this item was worth dying over and put it on his left middle finger. Upon doing this, the teen felt his heart beating faster and adrenaline coursed through his veins. His body was covered in gold flame like energy and transformed him into a creature that looks to be a hybrid of a dragon also known as an Akostar and devil also known as a Chirotirian. The gang outside had burst their way into the church, looking for the snot-nosed punk who stole their employee’s car, their money, and caused them to lose some of the fear that they had built in Nirrol Boulevard. Instead of finding the snot nosed punk, they saw the creature ,calling himself Diablo, waiting for them and seeing that it wasn’t human, they fired at him. Diablo had made the gang his bitch non lethally and escaped them using the car that Noland had borrowed. Upon entering the car, Diablo’s energy transformed the car as well. Upon reaching Nolan’s house, the creature known as Diablo walked inside. He found Briana sleeping, completely unaware of what just happened to her and he smiled. He entered Nolan’s room and turned back into Nolan with the teen crashing on his bed. The next morning, Nolan woke up and saw that he was still alive with him thinking that last night was a dream. However, he heard his sister mentioning a really nice looking car outside of their house. It was the same car that he had stolen the night before and Briana mentioned how cool it looked. He also noticed the ring that he won last night was on his finger and was going to figure out what it was. After dropping his sister off at her special private school/daycare, he went to the local library to find some answers. He found a book ,written by a Dustin Kilen whose famous for his discoveries on the supernatural, and it mentioned something about a ring. This ring is known as the Ring of Valor and according to legends found in Europe, it once belong to a great champion. This champion is a Homo Supremus/Magnus Cross Species by the name of Sanran. This Cross-Species helped seal away the Chirotirian Amarok into an amulet and helped the Astral Priestess seal away the Qlakrik Skull Plague into the Dread Dimension alongside the first Zero Ryoka Xasius. Upon his dying breath, Sanran sealed all of his power into his ring and made sure that just anyone worthy can wield its power. It’s similar to how Rythos’s Warbringer. Anyone who isn’t worthy for this power is engulfed in gold flame like Impulse, burning them alive where they stood. After figuring this out, Nolan heard on the news that the Copper Cobras were attacking the school where Briana was. The reporter mentioned how the Cobras wanted Diablo to come out and play with Nolan guessing that he was Diablo. He looked at the ring, trying to figure out how to become Diablo so that he can save his sister and the others at the school. Upon thinking about his desire to help his sister, his body began to change and Nolan rushed to the bathroom. He saw that he was now Diablo and rushed toward his car, transforming into Diablo’s Vehicle of the Dammed. He rushed toward the school and took down the Copper Cobras alongside their hired metahumans being Berserk and Blackjack whose powers were upgraded thanks to the Reaper Powder. The latter metahuman did this before he died. After this incident, Nolan aka Diablo managed to get rid of the Copper Cobras in Nirrol Boulevard. Using the money that he won in the RPC, Nolan moved himself, his sister, and mother out of Nirrol Boulevard and into Sunset Shores, Hawaii for Briana’s medical treatment. Despite the good in his life, Nolan knew that him ridding one town of the Copper Cobras, he needed to find the nest. He knew that Sanran would want him to use this power to protect innocent lives like he did when he was alive rather than use it to destroy. He became Diablo and entered his car, driving off to rid the world of the Copper Cobras and later Avalon since he learned about the secret organization giving the gang weapons. This attracted Silas’s attention, considering him for the Centurion Project. He’s a very responsible teenager with him very quick to acknowledge when he has made a mistake and does whatever he can to make it right. He has a strong passion for cars being that he and his father spend a lot of time, going to cars show and learned what makes a car tick. He’s often put others before himself mainly when it comes to his sister. At his school, he has no friends and tends to stay to himself. If his sister needs him, he’ll go there within seconds. He cares deeply for his friends and family being that he’s always trying to do right by his family and make sure that he’s the hero that Bianca sees him as. He’s loyal to anyone who he sees as a friend being that he’ll always help them out in whatever way he can. When becoming Diablo, his new found responsibility as a hero can overwhelming since they sometimes clash with his responsibility to his school and his family. He sometimes get cocky and tends to pay the price usually involving him getting hurt or someone innocent getting hurt. He tends to make a plan and strategy on the fly rather than planning it out. Nolan is tall for his age being that he’s 5 foot 10. He has a thin, muscular build. He’s considered to be very attractive with most girls at both his high schools in Nirrol Boulevard and Sunset Shores giving him a longer than normal look. His Father is Mexican and his mother is British. He has olive colored skin which he got from his father. He has his father’s chestnut brown hair and has his mother’s emerald green eyes. Upon becoming Diablo for the first time, his brown hair is separated by strands of very distinctive white hair. He has a large scar on his back. It’s about six inches long and goes across his right shoulder blade. This scar was a result of him fighting against the Copper Cobras when he was thirteen years old and he did this just to get his sister some medicine during the winter. His casual wear is a navy blue ,with three maroon stripes vertical flame like stripes, red leather biker style jacket. The cuffs of the jacket are usually rolled up to his elbows. It has black accents. In hotter weather, he ties it around his waist. His undershirt is a white long-sleeve shirt with a maroon circle in the center of the shirt. In the center of the circle, there is a navy blue tattered star. He wears blue denim jeans with gray cuffs and a gray belt. He’s wearing dark blue and white sneakers with black laces. He’s wearing black, fingerless gloves over his hands. They expose the palm of his hands, strapped together over his wrist. He wears a metal gray necklace with a black string. His ears are pierced with a gold devil skull stud in each ear. He wears the Ring of Valor on his left middle finger. On his travels, he later obtained the Skeletal Devil Band. It’s appearance is a long, black wristband. It’s secured to his arm by a black stripe with a silver skull shaped buckle. He has the ability to turn into Diablo by just thinking about it or putting on his ring but mainly the former than the latter. His transformation is accompanied by his golden energy usually staring from his hands or his chest. His skin began to melt away upon coming in contact with the gold energy. His eyes slow changes color from emerald green to ruby red. Upon the last of his skin melts away, his body changes. His olive colored skin is replaced by silver scales. His ears become pointed and his teeth gets sharp. His fingers and toes have claws. He grows a long tail with the end of it looking like a mace. He has two large black and silver wings with them covering in a golden aura. His face is fully covered by a silver star shaped skull mask. It has black lines supporting the sides of the eye holes. There are two eye holes, making his ruby red eyes are apparent. The mask covers the rest of his head in gold energy. He wears a black ,actually chainmail, long sleeved sweat shirt with ruby red armor over it. His chestplate is made up of three pieces that are held on by two thick brown straps going over his shoulders. The chestplate has Diablo’s logo in the center of it. It’s a black star-shaped emblem. The brown straps are covered by gold pauldrons. He wears black gloves. He wears silver plates over his calves and thighs. He wears dark blue pants. He wears a brown belt with a black star shaped belt buckle in the center. He wears black and gold boots with skull like chains wrapped around his boots. The Skeletal Devil Band transforms into a silver gauntlet resting on his left arm. It has a devil’s skull etched into it. He can grow to 7-8 feet tall when angered. When he’s angered, he lets out a demonic roar which can scare weaker beings. When he’s Diablo or angry, his eyes glow and speaks in a deep demonic voice. He has the ability to turn into Diablo by just thinking about it or putting on his ring but mainly the former than the latter. He’s also able to turn parts of his body into Diablo. As Diablo, he’s incredibly powerful with it being immortal and indestructible. He can knock around strong and powerful beings. He’s able to restore any severed limbs by reattaching them or creating a new one using his flames. He’s able to rotate his neck a full 360 degrees. He’s able to float in the air without any assistance but tends to use his demonic/dragon like wings for increase speed. He’s able to fly at an impressive mach 20. He has heightened senses and impressive physical strength. His body is a mixture of demonic/reptilian features. His body is naturally immune to both intense heats and cold. It’s also immune to bullets and slashing attacks. He’s able to sprout wings for flight and cut through most objects. He can manifest a demonic/draconic tail and use it as an extra limb to his body. His tail is sharp enough to cut through most objects. He’s able to detect anyone who tries to lie with a single observation. As a child, he learned how to speak English and Spanish. He can see in the dark. He can also talk with the dead and ask them for assistance if needed. His best known ability is his pyrokinesis. This fire is a mystical energy that’s a gold color. He’s able to produce and control all forms of fire with him extremely resistant to sources of extreme heat. It can be hot and cold, depending on what Nolan needs it to be. It feeds off the surround Impulse in the air and can’t be extinguish through normal means. It burns underwater and in places without oxygen such as outer space. He can channel this energy through his body or into objects such as his car. These flames can break through most forcefields with relative ease. He’s able to absorb all outside forms of fire. He can turn himself into the gold energy, evading physical attacks. His fire can be used to heal others. The Skeletal Devil Band can transform into whatever weapon that Nolan needs at the time. He tends to make a silver circular shield for defense and silver broadsword ,that's covered in gold energy, for offensive. When he’s angered, he can become a stronger form and his powers are increased. His car ,with her name being Corsair and female, was a black ,with a flame like pattern on the left and right side of the car, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grant Sport/DMC DeLorean. It has a visible blower sticking out of the hood. It has five nitrous oxide tanks hidden under the hood and the gear shift has the word "Skull" etched into the handle. She once belonged to the leader of Avalon known as Uguisu and thanks to the Copper Cobras, she was taken in an auto shop after her engine was destroyed by an agent of Swarm had gotten her hands on it. This agent was Silver Moon. The Copper Cobras didn’t expect Nolan to steal the car and use it to take it down. Upon becoming Diablo, it got another upgrade and given the name Mythblazer. Its appearance is identical to before except covered in gold energy and looks to be straight out of hell. The blower is emitting the gold energy over the car with the wheels constantly burning. The engine roars. When it drives, there is a trail of flaming tires. Thanks to his time learning how to drive outside of town and with his dad, he’s a skilled driver been able to outdrive pro racers. He has a decent knowledge of medicine since he’s studying to become one. Thanks to his time as a mechanic, he can also fix any vehicle. Due to him growing up in a crime filled neighborhood, he has a decent amount of knowledge on how to fight but can be overwhelmed by better fighters. He’s able to be posses people, turn other vehicles into mimics of the Mythblazer, and machines. His car ,either as Corsair or Mythblazer, is able to easily ride atop any terrain, treating it as a normal road. It can become capable as a submersible, treating it like an automobile. Corsair is impervious to conventional munitions such as bullets and explosion. It can drive over bombs without the tires being damaged. It can go through barriers of cinder block and steel gates without suffering any damage. It’s also protected against fire and electricity but Corsair is vulnerable to some acids. It’s able to reach 100 mph in 2 seconds flat, flamethrowers mounted under the front and rear bumpers, disk shaped objects that can produce an intense heat that can stop heat-seekers or an EMP within a given area, and contains a lot of weapons. In the headlights, it can fire small but powerful missiles or a barrage of bullets. When in flight mode, the stabilizers unfolded in the front and rear axels of the car. This is happens under the chassis. The axels are then engulfed in gold energy. This makes the car levitate over the ground by a few feet, making it hover as the wheels folded into the wheel wheels. Black plates slid over the exposed wheel wheels that lock into place. The rear fenders folded outwards, forming jet fighter wing like appendages. The rear taillights fold up to reveal rows of thrusters housed within the taillights. They glow with gold energy. The steering wheel transforms to make a control wheel similar to jet planes. It can remain submerged under water for over 6 hours and the oxygen supply last for an entire day. It can change its appearance. It has an electronic jammer that play havoc on a electrical system. It can be used to take control of electronic machine, breaking an electronic lock, and erasing/turn off security cameras. It can also lock the brakes of other vehicles. Mythblazer is able to teleport to Nolan’s exact location. The trunk can work as a pocket dimension which Nolan can put a lot of stuff in there. He can communicated with the dead and souls within the car and go down the lineage to talk with a modern day ancestor. It can be used to track down anyone on Earth or whatever dimension the car is at the time. The car follow Nolan’s command without question. His fire can be sealed away and negated. He has to concentrate on flying or he’ll fall. He also sucks at flying and tends to stick with driving. Unlike Sanran, Nolan has no talent for the art of magic but he can seal away enemies using his flames. His rage like state can be used against him and drains him of his powers. He’s vulnerable to magic, mainly the holy kind.
