This post here has been written in December 2021 but will be uploaded before Fairy Legion Royal Chapter 4. This is to mainly improve the amount of posts produced within a certain time frame or other reasons.
Flashback P.O.V.
It was a few minutes after the trio of Happy, Lisanna, and Natsu when Grace saw Makarov and Zane leaving the guild hall. Frosch stayed behind with one of the waitress on duty offering him some dessert free of charge since he's so cute. "Where are they going?" thought Grace, watching the two of them leave. She noticed that some of Romeo's dolls were following them with her turning to Romeo who was using his Soul Sight. "Hey Evergreen." said Grace.
The brunette looked at the half naked girl with her saying,"What is it Grace?". "So do you happen to know why Romeo's babies are following Gramps and Zane?" said Grace. "No clue and to be honest, I don't care. If you're so curious, why don't you follow them?" said Evergreen. "That's a good idea." said Grace. Before she could get too far, she was stopped by runes that stopped her dead in their tracks and canceled out Romeo's Soul Sight. "Hey! What was that for Freed?!" said Grace.
Romeo looked at the runes with him saying,"It wasn't Freed Grace.". "It was my doing." said a voice as Grace turned to see Levy and Tyrell. "Why Levy?" said Grace with her trying to find the Achilles heel of the runes. Runes that were written by Dark Écriture always have a weak point somewhere. The weak point can be super obvious or extremely obvious which all depends on the caster. "Because I'm sure that both Master and Zane don't want you two spying on them. That may piss one of them off." said Levy.
Tyrell nodded as he said,"She's right and don't forget Grace. We're about to go on a job. It's a monster hunting job. A good training experience.". "I know that but we don't have to get going till later. Come on. You guys can't tell me that you're not curious why Gramps left with Zane. I mean he was holding back in the fight yesterday." said Grace. "Yeah. Grace is right. Big Bro has to be really strong and I want to know how strong he is. Maybe he could join the Thunder Legion." said Romeo.
Evergreen looked at Romeo who had his babies trying to break him out of the runes prison but it wasn't working. "I know that you like him Romeo but we would have to get the approval of our leader and you know how picky our leader can be." said Evergreen. "I got to agree with Grace and Romeo. I want to see how he stacks up against Erza and the other S-Class. He could be the next S-Class and well, I want him on the team if you don't mind." said Tyrell. "Nope. He did peak my interest so lets go." said Levy.
She was pretty sure that only a handful of wizards ,which includes herself and Tyrell if he really applied himself, could possibly defeat Erza. From what she could tell, Zane could be another one of those wizards to be on her older sibling's level. "So what are we waiting for?! Lets go!" said Romeo with him slamming against the runes. "I think Levy has to get rid of the runes first." said Evergreen. "Yes. We'll have to be stealthy." said Tyrell. "Gotcha." said Grace.
After undoing the runes, the group of Evergreen, Frosch since he wanted to see what Zane was going to do, Grace, Levy, Romeo, and Tyrell went after Makarov and Zane. A few minutes later, the duo of Makarov and Zane stood in a secluded spot in the middle of the forest. It was in the East Forest and a good couple of miles away from any kind of home in Magnolia. There was her house but Makarov was sure that this spot was perfect for Zane.
On the way here, it was obvious that they were being followed. "I guess you do have a chance to show off. Good for you." said Havoc. "So are you going to tell Makarov about this?" said Matrix. "I'm pretty sure he already knows about his children following them so lets get them a show." said Astaroth. "I got to admit Makky. This is a decent spot." said Zane with him looking around the empty landscape to see nothing out.
Even though he could sense another being in the forest, Zane could cut loose just a bit. "You're welcome Zane. Usually, this area is for the S-Class wizards since their magic is destructive. It's something that I made after a certain wizard joined since he had a reputation of being destructive even if he doesn't mean too. When he first joined, he couldn't really control his magic and this man caused Magnolia a great deal of problems. His name is Gildarts Clive." said Makarov.
Zane was curious about this wizard since he was pretty sure Natsu was the most destructive wizard in the guild. However, this Gildarts guy seem to make Natsu's level of destruction look tiny in comparison since the Cross Species was well aware of what a dragon slayer is capable of especially one who was trained by Igneel. "This wizard is usually away from the guild on jobs that take months to complete and tends to work by himself due to how destructive his magic is." said Makarov.
The elderly man sighed as he said,"Due to how destructive Gildarts is, Magnolia has something called the Gildarts Shift. You'll see what that is in due time but it's a sight to be hold.". Makarov was well aware of how his S-Class wizards just loved to unleash their power and tended to not care about how much destruction they cause in the process. "I see. You should probably step back. I tend to be quite a showoff." said Zane. "Okay. Show me what you got." said Makarov.
Makarov stepped back with his arms crossed over his chest. "You got it." said Zane as he closed his eyes. "I'm not sure how strong Zane could be. From what I've been told about him, his power could easily surpass Gildarts or even the Ten Wizard Saints. Lets see if you were right second master." thought Makarov. Zane took in a deep breath with unleashing a small amount of his seemingly infinite power. A huge amount of Carnal emerge from his body and formed a royal blue aura around him.
The third master of Fairy Tail couldn't help himself but be impressed. The amount of energy Zane was unleashed is higher than any wizard he had ever seen. "This power is something befitting for someone his age. I'm well aware of how old you really are Zane." thought Makarov, covering his face with his arms. The aura around Zane was growing stronger and looked to be similar to a burning flame. The wind began to picked up around him and the ground began to crack apart.
Anything else though was getting blown away due to the pressure alone. This included Makarov who had to hold onto a large boulder to prevent himself from being blown away. The group of Evergreen, Frosch, Grace, Levy, Romeo, and Tyrell watching them as well and all six wizards were holding onto a doll. "Big brother is unleashing another magic power that could defeat Erza, Gildarts, and the boss at the same time! He's so cool!" thought Romeo.
Grace was trying to make a shield appear in front of them so it could keep them from being blown away from the windstorm being produced by Zane. However, she couldn't since her body was shaking not from the cold but fear. "How and why is the gap between us so wide?" thought Grace. Tyrell expected Zane to have a large amount of magic power inside of him but to surpass his great grandfather, he didn't expect. "Where did you obtain this power Zane?" thought Tyrell.
Meanwhile at the magic council building in Era, four of the nine members of the Council were getting ready to start their daily duties. The other five members of the council haven't arrived at Era yet for reasons. However as the four entered the main chamber, a sudden tremor began shaking the entire building. "What is this? I'm sure that I'm not the only one who is feeling this level of power." said a deep, powerful voice.
This voice belonged to Org, the owner of the second seat of the Magic Council and had the moniker of the Tempest. He is a tall, gray-haired elderly yet muscular man with a considerably long beard and a mustache combo. His hair had noticeable black highlights running through, reminding someone of a piano keyboard mainly with his mustache. He has pointy elf like ears and has a habit of keeping only one of his dark green eyes open at a time.
He has pronounced cheekbones and his once handsome face was affected by old age. It was shown with wrinkles around his foreheads and creases around his mouth. His right forearm was missing since he lost it in a fight to protect Crocus from one of the Alvarez Empire's Spriggan Twelve who went by the name of the Grim Reaper. Due to his fight with the Grim Reaper, he has a large lightning bolt scar that runs across the left side of his chest.
On top of his head, he wears a small bat-shaped ornament. He wears a white sleeveless kimono like cloak, exposing his muscular physique and battle scars. He wears brown pants with the ends ripped off and dark green boots. His left arm was protected by a gold vambrace that had a black four pointed shuriken symbol etched into it and covered by bandages. On his back, he has a giant, foldable four pointed black shuriken.
This wizard saint is well known for his combination of Earth, Lightning, Storm, Water, and Wind Magic. With this combination of magic, he was considered to be a walking disaster and often fought up close and personal. He moves at lightning fast speed and could easily break through the strongest defensive spell with a single punch. The shuriken he has is his main method of travel since he could use to fly and could control where it goes using his mind. It will only move if Org gave it an order.
Despite his age, he could keep up with the wizards of this day such as that flashy bastard who was the prized student of Gran Doma aka Org's rival in the council. Compared to most of the current Magic Council, he was kind toward Fairy Tail but tended to call them out whenever they go too far. "You aren't the only one who is feeling this one Second Seat." said another Council member who had a sleeve covering her mouth at the moment.
She looked to be much younger than Org by many years and could be his granddaughter. This is Ultear with her being the eighth seat of the Magic Council and one of the Ten Wizard Saints alongside Siegrain. She looks to be about twenty one years with Siegrain looking about in his late teens. She is five foot 6. She is quite the beauty but in a world where most women are models, it's saying a lot if she's called out for her beauty.
If she wasn't part of the council, she would most definitely be a model for Sorcerer Weekly. She is a pale-skinned woman with dark purple hair and brown eyes. She has red lipstick coating her lips. She had a noticeably voluptuous figure with long and perfect legs. She has unblemished skin and slender shoulders. She currently wore a unique and sexy variation of the council's uniform. This consisting of a rather bland white garb that covered her upper and lower body.
Said garb has a rather deep v-neck that revealed a good amount of her chest but not too much to be considered slutty. This also includes a dark-yellow sash that tied around her waist. The sash proves how perfect her curves really are. Her legs are shown thanks to the large slit on the leg of her dress. She also has a red collar-like object around her neck. For some strange reason, the left sleeve is rather long and the right having no sleeve whatsoever.
Ultear is rather playful but has the capability of being serious whenever the time calls for it. According to another member of the council, she may look pretty but has the lips of a dangerous snake. The council member who said this is the only other woman on the Magic Council and has the ability to look past a human's beauty to see what's underneath. "Who is releasing that magic power? There is no one causing a scene in Era." thought Ultear.
Within seconds, the four council members used a spell that would locate where this immense power is coming from and not be seen by the general public. It took a few seconds to show a certain superhero showing off for his godson and his guildmates. "Did you managed to cast the spell wrong? I highly doubt it was a single man who has this much magic power." said Siegrain with him visibly sweating. He couldn't believe that a single wizard was able to release enough magic power to shake all of Ishgar.
Siegrain smiled as he thought,"If it is him, his power is enough to surpass those two monsters!". His thoughts were stopped by someone hitting him. "Of course I casted it right you blue haired brat. It seems that he has returned old friend." said an elderly woman. This voice belongs to the other female of the magic council Belno. She's the fifth seat of the council and was known by one name. This name is the Professor and often considered to be the stronger woman in all of Ishgar.
Not even Titania could compete with her. If you want to live, don't call her the pineapple witch or you'll die. For a woman with her being in her early fifties, she is quite attractive. She was easily taller than Ultear and most women in Ishgar with her being six feet tall. She had a fit yet curvaceous frame with noticeably large breasts. She had sandy blonde hair which is tied up into a large ponytail that looked similar to a pineapple and two chin length bangs.
She has sharp looking dark blue eyes with a stern look on her face. Her long nose looked similar to a typical witch like nose. She wears a dark blue vest with distinctive white fur collar and silver trim over it. Underneath her vest, she wears a purple turtle-neck kimono style long sleeved blouse. Her blouse is closed quite low, revealing her massive chest. She wears blue jeans, a long white sash tied around her waist, and black martial arts slippers. She wears red nail polish on her fingernails and toenails.
Belno is well known for many things. She tends to be rather blunt about most topics, never sugar-coating the issue at hand. She tends to hold people to their actions and quite harsh toward criminals who would hurt others especially those who would take advantage of others. Despite coming off as rude or insensitive, she is relatively calm and composed. She tends to keep her cool most of the time except when it comes to perverted behavior or those saying that she did something wrong.
She does have her perverted side but it isn't as obvious unlike the males on the council. She often help those less fortunate compared to the rest of the Council who don't care about the general public. She often goes out of her way to help young wizards succeeded in her dreams and encourage them. She is often seen as a strong supporter of Fairy Tail since she admires how the guild treats everyone like a family and tends to holds Makarov as responsible for his family's actions.
In battle, Belno is well known for her calculating nature. She often strikes only when confident of success and without mercy. She is a well known prodigy when it comes to magic. She was made an S-Class Wizard at a young age and surpassed her magic teacher within a couple of months of studying under her. A legend of her is that she didn't flinch or break a sweat when facing up against a hundred thousand Machias which worked under a Spriggan Twelve member known as the Judge.
These Machias were made created to counter several types of magic but Belno managed to counter all of them. This is one of the many reasons why she is considered to be the strongest woman in all of Ishgar. She's able to fight several powerful wizards without exhausted and her reserves of Ethernano is immense. She has excellent control over her magic and can use to cast any type of magic out there except for Lost Magic. This includes Healing Magic which is considered to be quite rare.
However, she can only heal herself rather than others. She's able to deduce the mechanics of a wizard by simply studying a wizard's Ethernano and being well known for planning several steps ahead. She is able to sense the presences of individuals by their Ethernano and can tell them apart. She can sense Ethernano from a far distance away and tell the different between siblings by their Ethernano. She is able to do all of this blindfold.
She is often able to detect danger by focusing on the Ethernano in the air. She can blend into her surroundings by covering her entire body in Ethernano. One of her signature spells is her building up Ethernano into her fists and release it on contact, causing severe damage to pretty much anything that it comes in contact with. She is extremely strong, being able to lift Org's shuriken and this is impressive since not even the strongest wizards can lift it.
Org looked at Belno with him saying,"Are you sure about that?". "I'm sure since I could never forget Ethernano like his." said Belno with a smile on her face. "Oh boy. I can't wait to hear that annoying nickname of his." said Org with an annoyed grin. "I find to be quite funny." said Belno. As the two chatted, Ultear looked at Zane. "So this wizard is quite powerful but handsome as well. I think I need to meet him one day and he'll need to know about him." thought Ultear with a smirk.
All four council member noticed the third guild master of Fairy Tail and Wizard Saint Makarov Dreyar there alongside some of his children aka Fairy Tail. It was a good thing that some of the council was planning on going to the next guild master conference consisted of some of the guilds in Fiore. They were going to figure out who Zane was and why he was here now. Back with Makarov. He was sure that Zane's power could keep growing in strength.
The amount energy was making several large chunks of the ground float around him. The trees around them were gone at this point, flying away thanks to the tornado formed around Zane. "Zane! You need to stop or you'll end up destroying the city as well!" shouted Makarov with him using his magic to prevent himself from being blown away. "He does know about your hyper hearing right Zane?" said Astaroth. "No idea." said Zane.
Zane took a deep breath with all of the Impulse around him calming down and the natural disasters he was created ended. "Sorry there Makky. I guess I went a little overboard but check it out." said Zane with Makarov noticing the royal blue orb of Carnal in his hand. He was tossing it from hand to hand like a cat with a ball of yarn. "It seems you were right about him Second Master. I'm sure that was just a fraction of his power and it made the four gods of Ishgar look like children." thought Makarov.
The elderly wizard was sweating as he thought,"It was also make the Professor and Tempest look like young adults.". "You alright there Makky? Did I go overboard again? I have a tendency to show off. It's genetic and can't do anything about it." said Zane. "I'm fine Zane and the second master was right. The amount of power you managed to show off is quite impressive and could easily surpass most of our current S-Class wizard including my very own grandchild." said Makarov.
Zane smirked as he said,"Sweet. You're so kind to me little Makky. So what did our lovely audience of Evergreen, Frosch, Grace, Levy, Romeo, and Tyrell think? I mean you guys must be impressed with little old me. Oh and the babies should share their opinion too.". Makarov blinked with him seeing the six wizards and seven dolls in question emerge from their hiding spot. "So how long have you known about them being there?" said Makarov.
The Cross Species crossed his arms as he said,"Since we left the guild hall. I noticed Romeo's babies following us and they eventually stopped following us. However a few minutes later, I sense them coming toward us in a group. I thought you knew about them so I didn't say anything.". He then shaped the royal blue carnal into the Fairy Tail symbol. "You were so amazing Zane!" said all seven dolls and Romeo agreed with them.
Evergreen looked at Zane as she said,"So do you mind explaining how you were able to do all that stuff Zane?! I thought you were a Take Over wizard like the Take Over Trio but to be able surpassed Master and the old man with sheer magic power alone!". She was still in a stunned state after what she had just witnessed from someone she just met. "I have to agree with her. You're easily much stronger than I initially guessed." said Grace with her arms crossed and looked noticeably frustrated.
This frustration was obvious to everyone there except for Romeo and his babies. "How did he reach that level of power?! He's around the same age as the Stormbringer right?! Even if I trained with my master for my entire life, I don't think I could ever reach that level!" thought Grace. She really hates to admit it this but she was weaker than Natsu. He often got special training from Erza ever since they were kids and there is the fact that how his magic somehow gets stronger in two situations.
Situation one is whenever fighting against someone strong and situation two is whenever he feels emotional as Erza puts it. He still gets wrecked by Gildarts whenever he is in town but the ice wizard knew that this was going to change in a very short amount of time. "To be perfect honestly, I wasn't born strong. It took several years of intense training of both the mind and body to get where I am today and I wasn't using magic. This is Impulse or to be more specific, it was Carnal." said Zane.
He spoke with a serious look on his face while moving the Carnal Fairy Tail symbol in between his hands. "Is it this Impulse the same thing you used to defeat Natsu? I thought it was magic but it didn't feel like magic. And can Frosch use it as well?" said Levy, observing the symbol. Frosch and Zane looked at her with her saying,"I was pretty sure that you two absorb Ethernano into your body to use magic but this proved me wrong.".
Evergreen crossed her arms as she said,"Do anyone have any idea what she's talking about?". "No clue Ever." said Romeo with his babies agreeing. "So Zane. Is this Impulse or Carnal a new form of combat that doesn't require Ethernano?" said Makarov. "Zane. You may have to explain what you mean. I mean I get it but will they?" said Frosch with him flying in the air. "Oh and make it as basic as possible. Don't go full power ranting." said Matrix. "Yeah. Dumb it down." said Havoc.
Zane looked at the wizards as he said,"Sure. Impulse is something that exist in everything around us to put it simply. It comes from all types of living beings such as humans, animals, and the nature that's around us. Every being can use it but just in a different way. Ethernano is just another form of Impulse that wizards can use but a normal human can use Impulse in a way that's similar to magic except without using any of the surrounding Ethenano.".
This whole little speech was basically what Eltron ,aka the creator of the entire Omniverse, told him all those years ago except slightly changed and as Havoc put it, dumbed down a lot. "Here in Fiore and all of Earthland, beings of this planet are naturally more resilient toward damage." said Zane. The wizards were confused by that statement but decided to let Zane finish talking. "To perfectly honest with all of you, I don't fully understand Impulse ." said Zane.
Zane smiled as he said,"But what I do know that it's something that can be mastered in time once you know what you can do with it.". "And what is something you can do once you unlock Impulse? And is Carnal another form of Impulse like Ethernano is?" said Makarov. "You'll be able to manipulate raw Ethernano itself and let it flow throughout your entire body." said Zane. He closed his eyes and began walking on thin air aka Gravity Drive.
As this was going on, Tyrell noticed that the Carnal symbol vanished and went back into Zane. "It can allow you to fly and do something like this." said Zane. "That's so cool!" thought Grace and Romeo with admiration on their face. The ability to fly through the sky without using any kind of magic to support them sounded epic. "You may have noticed that the Carnal around me vanished. Let me show you something cool. Satanic Roar." said Zane.
Zane tilted his head upwards with the wizards watching Zane unleashed a royal blue blast of Carnal into the air and toward the atmosphere. They wondered what he was doing until his attack created a giant explosion and this explosion lit up the entirety of Magnolia for a few seconds until it was gone. It was like a firework except more explosive. Everyone there was in awe at seeing another impressive feat from him. "That was so cool." said Grace with her fascinated with this Impulse.
Tyrell nodded as he said,"I have to agree with you there Grace.". A few seconds later, Zane landed back on the ground. "That's the basics of Impulse since well, it gets more complicated from here. I can tell you about Impulse in great detail but I'm sure some of you have things to do. Any questions for little old me?" said Zane. "I have one. How strong was that burst of energy of yours?" said Makarov. "Let me see." said Zane cupping his chin.
Zane looked at Makarov with him saying,"I got it. I wasn't in Satanic Corruption and clearly holding back so the blast could easily destroying an entire forest. If I was Satanic Corruption and not holding back, that blast could easily destroy a small continent.". When Makarov heard this, his skin went pale white and was about to have a heart attack. He was aware of how destructive Zane could be thanks to the second master mentioning it a handful of times.
However hearing that blast could destroy a continent, he was slightly scared of what Zane could do if he wasn't holding back. However, Grace and Romeo heard that statement and looked at Zane with comical star eyes. This source of power Zane had sounded better by the second. "Wicked." said the dolls. "It does sound rather nice but I'm good learning and master the magic I have now." said Evergreen. "Got to agree with you on that Evergreen." said Tyrell with Levy and Romeo nodding their head.
Grace looked at Zane as she said,"Zane! You mentioned how Impulse exist in every living thing didn't you?! Does that mean wizards like Gramps, Evergreen, Levy, Romeo, Tyrell, and myself could use it even though we use Ethernano as our main resource.". "Yep. Anyone can use Impulse like how any wizard can learn any type of magic but some wizards will have trouble learning another type of magic such as Hatchling." said Zane.
The Cross Species sighed as he said,"Don't get me wrong. He's really strong with fire but it would cause a lot of problems if he somehow managed to learn another type of magic.". Makarov's eyes widened as he imagined Natsu learning the exact same magic as Gildarts and was thanking the first master that Natsu wasn't the type to spend an entire day in the archives. "Okay. I think I know what to do." said Grace with her swallowing up her pride.
She knew that she needed to become stronger and achieve her personal goals so there was only one thing she could do. She kneel down in front of Zane, surprising most of the group there. "What are you doing Grace?!" said Romeo. "Please train me Zane! I want to learn how to control Impulse so I can become stronger than that match stick! He had Erza helping him out for years while I didn't. I had Levy and Tyrell helping me sure but Natsu is the son and heir of the Fire Dragon King." said Grace.
Grace clenched her fists as she said,"There is no doubt in my mind that he'll become an S-Class Wizard in no time but I don't want to lose to him! I'm tired of being helpless in situations and I want to show the world that I'm strong enough to protect what's precious to me without anyone helping me so I'm begging you. Please take me under your wing!". She had determination coming out of her in waves and after what happened a decade ago, she didn't want a repeat of what happened.
She needed to settle the score without anyone's help. Zane was that person to help her become stronger than anyone including that flame brained idiot. Zane looked at them with him being well aware of why Grace wanted to become stronger. She had being called weak and wanted to protect what she held dear to her heart or Essence. Grace reminded Zane of himself at this age except she wasn't destined to defeat an extremely powerful being that was planning on destroying the entire Omniverse.
After a few seconds, Zane smiled his signature smile that was well known throughout the Omniverse. He always wanted to help other beings grow stronger since he did enjoy teaching. "Grace. I'll train you under a couple of conditions." said Zane. "Really? Whatever these conditions are, I'll do them without question!" said Grace. "This is your chance. You can do H-Stuff with her!" said Astaroth. "That isn't happening and you know it." said Matrix.
Zane agreed with the A.I. much to Astaroth's dismay. "Unlocking the ability to manipulate Impulse isn't easy so Frosch and I will be training you together. After we're done with you, you will never have to use your magic to augment your abilities again. I'm sure you can handle the training I have in store for you Grace so stand up okay? You don't need to beg me to train. I can see how strong you are and I've always wanted to teach a wizard how to use Impulse." said Grace.
The Cross Species smirked as he said,"I was going to train Hatchling but decided against it after seeing you in the spare yesterday. Just give me a couple of days to properly prepare your training and we can began on making you stronger.". "Thank you Zane!" said Grace with a huge grin on her face. On the sidelines, Makarov smiled proudly on how Grace wanted to learn more about the mysterious yet familiar Impulse that Frosch and Zane used.
Makarov looked at Grace as he thought,"Out of the five possible S-Class candidates, I was worried the most about Grace but Zane training her changes things. I'm sure that if he decided to train Grace and Natsu, they would use this power to cause even more property damage. Grace is slightly better than Natsu at not destroying things but still.". He was slightly worried at what Grace could possibly do with the same kind of power as Zane.
He was slightly thankful that Natsu had already left for a job prior to Zane showing off since well, the pink haired dragon slayer would want to fight Zane or to be trained by him. "It seems that everyone is happy now. I think it's time to head back home." said Makarov, heading back to the guild hall. He was sure that Cana could keep things under control while he was gone but he expected some bottles of alcohol to go missing as payment. "Yeah. We got to get stronger and I got the perfect way." said Romeo.
The babies knew what he had in mind and were pumped up. He ran off to his secret training spot with his babies following him. "I doubt it's asking his old man for advice but I wish you good luck on that. I got some shopping to do." said Evergreen as she headed back to Magnolia. "And after that, we have a job to do. Lets get going Grace." said Tyrell with Grace nodding. "Yeah. Thanks again Zane!" said Grace.
As they were leaving, Levy looked at Frosch and Zane. "So I doubt you two are planning on taking any jobs any time soon." said Levy. "That's correct yes. None of the jobs wowed me." said Zane. "I think so too!" said Frosch. "How about I make due on that promise on getting you a weapon Frosch and I'm sure you're interested in learning more about several different types of magic Zane." said Levy, getting the attention of the duo. "Sweet! I think I know the perfect weapon for me!" said Frosch.
He was sure about this since he spent a far bit of time thinking of the most perfect weapon for him to use. "Yeah and learning more about the different ways wizards use Ethernano sounds like an interesting time to me." said Zane. "How about I show you two the Archives after we get Frosch a weapon?" said Levy. "Sure. Lets go!" said Frosch, flying ahead. The two humans looked at the feline and followed him.
Narrator P.O.V.
After hearing the story, Lucy looked over at Grace who was talking with Frosch and Zane about something at the bar. "So I bet you're regretting joining up with Natsu's bunch huh?" said Cana. "What do you mean by that?" said Lucy. "You'll see very soon since Natsu is beckoning you over to him and Lisanna. Good luck." said Cana with her beginning to chug an entire barrel of something with the label of triple x on it.
Lucy saw that Natsu was pulling up a chair for her at a nearby table and the blond walked over to him mainly not to make a scene. He was sitting there with Happy and Lisanna with all three of them looking at her. "Just the blond I've been looking for." said Natsu. "So what's going on?" said Lucy. "Happy. If you wouldn't mind." said Lisanna. "Aye ma'am!" said Happy, jumping onto the table and opened his backpack. "Oh boy. Here we go. You may want to put on your headphones." said Grace.
Zane looked at her as he said while putting on his headphones,"Sure thing but why?". "Just trust me okay?" said Grace as she handed Frosch a pair of ear plugs. Frosch noticed that everyone in the guild hall except for Lisanna and Natsu were putting in the ear plugs. Happy held a small golden trumpet and began playing a tune as Lisanna and Natsu stood and saluted Lucy much to her confusion and annoyance.
The cat wasn't very good on this aerophone unlike Lisa and Bleedy Gums Murphy. "Lucy. We officially invite you to join Team Natsu." said Lisanna. "Welcome aboard Lucy!" said Natsu. "Go team!" said Happy. After recovered from Happy's trumpet playing, Lucy looked at them. "Really?! You guys want me to join your team?" said Lucy as Happy put away the trumpet. The guild removed their ear plugs upon the cat put the instrument away.
Grace sighed as she said,"And that's why I asked you to put on your headphones Zane.". She turned to see that turquoise candy syrup coming from Zane's ear. "Is he going to be okay?" said Grace, with her turning to Frosch. "Yeah. Zane has really sensitive hearing." said Frosch. "Oh gods. That cat is the worst trumpeter I've ever heard. Do you think we could butcher the cat?" said Matrix. "Maybe we should just get rid of the trumpet." said Havoc.
Astaroth nodded as he said,"But if we do that Havoc, he may get another one and we'll have to heard that noise again. We need to get rid of the source of the bad noise which involves murdering that talking cat.". "Even though we're all members of the same guild, some wizards group into teams. It helps if there is a job is too hard for a single wizard. Erza, Lisanna, Natsu, and me have been a team since forever." said Happy.
Lucy smiled as she said,"That sounds great! You guys really want me to join your team?". "Of course Luce. We all put it to a vote late night and you seem like a good person. I would have asked Frosch and Zane to join us too but one of them is a huge jerk since he refuses to train me. He totally hates me." said Natsu with him pouting. "I think he's talking about you Zane." said Frosch. "Yeah. Flamebrain is no way subtle." said Grace.
The white haired girl looked at Natsu with her saying,"I'm sure he doesn't hate you Natsu.". "So do you hate him?" said Astaroth. "Not really. I do hate the trumpet but that's about it." said Zane. "You say this now but things may change." said Matrix. "She's right. It really does depend if Natsu has any of his father's bad traits." said Zane. "You're right Lis. I'm sure Erza won't mind having you join Fairy Tail's strongest team. So are you in Luce?" said Natsu.
He was ignoring Grace's insult and was holding out his hand for a high five. Happy and Lisanna also held their hands for a high five with the feline floating in the air. "Sure!" said Lucy, giving all three of them a high five and this meant that she joined their team. Happy began throwing confetti all around and Natsu unleased a stream of fire from his mouth. Grace rolled her eyes at their little celebration. "I can't believe it." said Grace. "Believe what? And your clothes Grace." said Zane.
Grace looked down to see that she was in her underwear. "Damn it! Not again" said Grace as she was looking for her clothes. "So do you think you'll be able to help her with that? I rather not see her go naked again." said Tyrell, walking over to them. "I want to see her naked again so don't say anything about trying to fix her stripping." said Astaroth with Matrix slapping him. "Maybe but I'm not sure yet. So where is Levy? I wanted to ask her something." said Zane.
Tyrell looked at Zane as he said,"Is it about your first job? You haven't left town since you joined the guild right?". "Yes but that isn't it exactly." said Zane. "You haven't gone on a job yet Zane? Want me to help you out? I don't mind since you helped out my little brother out. Has anyone told you that you have an amazing smile?" said Cana with her sitting from the bar. "No thanks Cana. Me and Frosch are than capable of handing ourselves. Oh and I get that a lot. My smile tends to inspire people." said Zane.
Frosch nodded as he said,"Yeah. We also want to make sure that my first job doesn't make look too stupid. Zane has a rep to keep after all.". "Smart idea. My first job had me getting dunked in itching powder." said Grace, shivering at that memory. "She is upstairs on the second floor and well, you'll see why. So what did you need to ask her? I might be able to help you as well." said Tyrell. "Before you do that Tyrell, I need to borrow Zane for a couple of drinks." said Cana.
She smiled as she said,"He's currently waiting for Levy so why not give him something to do while he waits.". "You're going to challenge another rookie to a drinking contest which you've never lost. You only pick on the lightweights." said Grace. "Yep. The loser has to do whatever the winner wants them to do. So are you in?" said Cana. "Cana. I'm always up for some drinking and I should warn you. I'm no slouch when it comes to drinking." said Zane, sitting down next to her. "Sweet." said Cana.
While this going on, Levy was sitting on the second floor that belonged to only S-Class wizards so only six members could come up here. Master's office was here as well so other wizards could be on the second floor but only for a couple of minutes at most. The floor appears to have a few, small round tables and chairs seated around the tables for sitting. In addition, there are also barrels, crates, and bags scattered in corners around the room. The S-Class request board is located on this floor.
It is a brown, decorative board that was set off into its own area of the hall. It is adorned by velvet curtains, which are tied with golden tassels. Levy let a small sigh with her putting her head on the table and began scanning the guildhall. Levy was friendly toward pretty much everyone in Magnolia and she had several friends outside of the guild which was rare. Her eyes made her ways to the plain looking letter beside her.
The letter came with a recorded message from Mirajane Strauss, the eldest Strass Sibling. She was currently out of town and was on a photo shoot for Sorcerer Weekly. It was around the time of year where the magazine was doing it's yearly Summer Slam in the vacation city of Crystal Peak and in the amusement park Arcane World. Crystal Peak is one of the main supplier of Lacrimas that are used all over Ishgar.
Thanks to either Elfman or Lisanna, Mirajane must have heard about her coming back to the guild and asked for help in dealing with a very little issue at Arcane World. A dark guild known as Resolute Revenants was planning on attacking the amusement park and normally, Mira could handle them since the other members of the Pride were probably there. The Summer Slam is one of the magazine's most popular events so the models there were some of the most popular in all of Fiore.
However, this dark guild had some pretty powerful wizards in it and the assistance of the Balam Alliance in the form of two Oracion Seis members. Due to this, Mirajane asked for the assistance of the guild and at least five wizards of her choosing and all five wizards needed to be at least a B-Class wizard. That's where her problem was since most of the guild were C-Class wizards. She knew for sure that Grace and Tyrell would come with her. That was two wizards down, three to go.
Levy would have asked Elfman to help her since he would do anything for either sister but he wasn't here at the moment. He along with the Thunder Legion left for a job that was given to the group at the last minute by the master. The master asked just for the Thunder Legion but Elfman offered his manly assistance to the group. Evergreen was against this but Freed and Romeo didn't. Levy was pretty sure Evergreen was happy that she got to spend some time with Elfman.
Even though she disliked most males, the brunette did like Elfman in some regard after a certain event involving a former member of Fairy Tail. Her next choice was Loke who was popular with Sorcerer Weekly but there was a problem with him coming along. One member of the Pride once dated Loke in the past. The breakup was rather messy with Loke ended up in Magnolia Hospital for around three weeks due to injuries and had a restraining order from said member of the Pride.
Cana was her next choice since she was attractive and could turn a few heads her way. However, she had a strong tendency to drink too much while on the job and lets the alcohol control her more times than not. Arcana World served alcohol so she was a hard no. So with every possible person she could have asked, Levy decided to tell Mira the truth and hoped she didn't get too upset with her. "Are you having trouble my dear?" said Makarov.
Levy turned to see Makarov with him day drinking like Cana most days of the week. "A little. I'm going to Arcane World to help out Mira with a little issue." said Levy. "Arcane World? Are they not doing their Summer Slam right now? That sounds like a fun time." said Makarov. "It would be but I need to find five wizards to come with me and all five wizards need to be at least B-Class. I got two so far." said Levy.
Makarov nodded as he said,"Ah. That sounds like quite the predicament. Have you tried asking Lisanna? She's a B-Class wizard like her brother.". "I would but I thought she was helping Lucy get adjusted to working in the guild." said Levy. "She is but I'm sure she wouldn't mind helping her older sister. Lucy has the help of Happy and Natsu so Lisanna can help you. Cana too if she isn't completely hammered. She challenged Zane to a drinking contest. What about him and Frosch?" said Makarov.
After hearing that, Levy blinked with her saying,"But master. Aren't they both E-Class wizards? They did just join after all.". "They are my dear but I'm sure those two can stack up to some of our guild's best. You're well aware of strong Zane is after what happened the other day. Frosch was probably trained by him so he must be one tough feline. Zane is also keeping up with Cana's drinking so good for her. She does likes guys who can drink and is dependable." said Makarov.
When Levy heard that, the bluenette made a frown and didn't like the idea of any girl being seduced by Zane especially Cana who doesn't give up without putting up a fight and can be determined when she wants to be. "Wait. Why am I feeling so possessive over Zane? We're just friends but I'm acting like he's my boyfriend. Bisca does this whenever a girl talks to Alzack even though everyone knows that these two are together." thought Levy, shaking her head.
Makarov smiled as he said,"So you got your team? You, Frosch, Grace, Lisanna, Tyrell, and Zane. I'm sure the six of you won't destroy Arcane World too much.". "Yeah. We may have a member of Fairy Tail's most destructive team but at the very least, she's the least destructive member of that group." said Levy. "That's true. Oh, I should probably tell you that I'll be heading out a bit early to the guild master conference." said Makarov.
Levy nodded as she said,"That's good to know Master. Aren't you worried about those two possibly being there?". "She probably will be Levy but I can handle her and that pompous fool. Lynn will be in charge of request and such." said Makarov. "Thanks for the advice master." said Levy as she headed downstairs. "No problem my dear." said Makarov with him smiling. He went back to enjoying his drink before heading out to see those two.
On the main floor, Grace and Tyrell were stunned at the sight before them. Zane was still drinking and Cana was the one on the floor with her being drunk off her ass. "I really can't believe it. Cana lost at drinking." said Grace. "Didn't she lose once before to that one wizard from Quarto Cerberus?" said Tyrell. "Yeah but I never thought the new guy would be able to defeat her." said Grace. "So what are we going to do about her?" said Tyrell.
Grace shrugged as she said,"I guess we should get one of Lynn's hangover away potion.". Cana groaned out a no with Frosch looking at Zane who was still drinking. "Um Zane. You won. I think you can stop now." said Frosch. "Oh right. Sorry about that. So how many mugs did I drink? I lost track and when did she stop?" said Zane. "I think fifty and she fell to the ground around the forty second mug." said Frosch, shocking both wizards behind them.
Astaroth looked at Cana with him saying,"Not bad. I mean most beings can't last this long against Zane and his bottomless pit.". "Did you forget about Bridgette and Rythos." said Matrix. "I don't think so. Those two are bottomless pits when it comes to booze and nothing else." said Havoc. "I meant normal beings like Danny or Gwen." said Astaroth. "Ah." said Matrix. Levy walked over and looked at the drunk Cana. "Cana lost at drinking?" said Levy. "Yeah. It was a real shock to us too." said Grace.
Levy looked around the guild hall as she said,"So is Lisanna still here?". She eventually saw the youngest white haired Strauss talking with Happy, Lucy, and Natsu. "That's good." said Levy. "So why are you curious about Lisanna?" said Tyrell. "I'll tell you in a second after I get Lisanna." said Levy. She walked over to Team Natsu as Lynn walked over to the group at the bar. "Oh boy. I never thought I would see the day where Cana would lost a drinking contest." said Lynn.
She smiled as she said,"This means that I get to test one of my hangover away potion on her. If one of you wouldn't mind holding her.". Tyrell nodded as he grabbed Cana's arms. "Put me down Grace! I won't drink that nasty stuff!" said Cana. "Um Cana. I'm over here." said Grace. "I don't care. Just stop me from drinking that terrible liquid." said Cana. "Grace." said Lynn. "Got it. Ice-Make: Thieving Hand." said Grace.
In a few seconds, Levy with her being alongside Team Natsu joined them at the bar with Lucy watching an human hand ,made out of ice, forcing a drunk Cana to drink some extremely disgusting red liquid down her throat. "So does Cana have motion sickness like Natsu does?" said Lucy with her clearly remembering Lisanna forcing a purple liquid down Natsu's throat when they arrived in Shirotsume Town much to his dismay.
Happy shook his head as he said,"Nope. This is something to help a wizard if they're hungover. I never thought I would see it used on Cana.". "I know that Lynn's potions are supposed to be good but why do they have to taste so bad?" said Cana as she recovered from her hang over. "I'm pretty sure that you two are just exaggerating how bad it is." said Lucy. "If you're so confident, get a whiff of this." said Grace with her tossing her the almost empty bottle of Lynn's potion.
Even though most of the liquid was gone, the awful smell of the potion made Lucy winced and she almost puked. "God! How can you guys drink this stuff?!" said Lucy. "Most of the time, it's not by choice." said Cana and Natsu with her glaring at the trio of Grace, Lisanna, and Tyrell. "It may smell quite fowl but it works." said Lynn. "So do you mind telling me why you need me Levy? I was going to help Lucy out by showing her around town." said Lisanna.
Levy looked at Lisanna as she said,"Do you mind helping me, Frosch, Grace, Tyrell, and Zane on a job?". "You need my help?" said Lisanna. "Of course since your sister needs some help dealing with a pesky group of fans at her photo shoot. She need some extra muscle to handle them and well, it was rather short noticed." said Levy. "Is it for Sorcerer Weekly?!" said Lucy. "It should be and it should go better than the last job the two of us went on together." said Lisanna with Lucy confused.
The blonde looked at Tyrell and Zane with the latter finishing up his last mug. "Did you two know about this?" said Lucy. "Nope. This is the first I'm hearing about it." said Tyrell with Zane nodding his head in agreement. "Me too." said Frosch. "It'll be a whole lot of fun Zaney since all of the models in Sorcerer Weekly are sexy yet powerful at the same time especially the Pride." said Cana. "I guess but how much does this job pay? And will you be the one modeling Levy?" said Zane. with a smile.
Astaroth shook his head as he said,"Does the price really matter? You get to see babes and hopefully in bikinis that are itsy bitsy!". "It could be men too Astaroth and ones wearing Mawashis." said Matrix with a smirk. Astaroth imagine that and after hearing a Kabuki Yoooo sound effect, he visibly winced at it. Imagine E.Honda from Street Fighter and you got the image of what the devil was imagining at the moment. "Please not that Matrix. Don't jinx us. I'm begging you." said Astaroth.
The girls ,except for Grace, Lisanna, and Lynn, blushed with them all thinking that Zane's smile was really nice. "Levy. I know how you, Cana, and Lucy have been lusting over me since I joined but I would like to know about how much I'm getting paid. It seems that the girls of Fiore are more forward compared to the girls back home." said Zane with a smirk. Lucy looked away with her face red and she said,"I wasn't doing that!". "I totally was by the way." said Cana. "Seriously?!" said Lucy.
Cana shrugged as she said,"Yeah. I mean you saw his abs the other day. They were amazing.". "If you want, I'll give you ladies the whole show for free." said Zane as Levy's face was now redder than a tomato and steam blowing out her ears as she imagined Zane shirtless again. "So how much am I going to paid?" said Zane with him enjoying Levy's embarrassment too much. It reminded him of Rae. "Oh. A million Jewels for each one of us." said Levy.
The amount per wizard shocked most of the guild except for a few. The few who weren't effected were Frosch and Zane. Frosch was used to seeing a lot of money thanks to Zane being rich and Zane didn't really care. "Really? That amount seems too much for a simple body guard job. Color me suspicious Levy." said Tyrell. "Don't worry. I'll explain it in detail since I don't want Natsu to come and join us secretly." said Levy.
She looked right at Tyrell with her saying,"I think you remember what happened the last time Natsu did bodyguard duty for Sorcerer Weekly.". "Okay." said Tyrell with him trusting Levy's judgement on this without a doubt. When Natsu was bodyguarding for them one time, Sorcerer Weekly had a very interesting issue. It trally showed off how violent Fairy Tail Wizards can be and caused the magic council to bill Fairy Tail for the destruction of a local resort town.
Grace noticed that Natsu was uncharacteristic silent and this was because he was seeing Lisanna as a model. He was blushing and had a perverted grin across his face. She grabbed his ear and pulled on it hard. "Hey! What was that for snowcone?!" shouted Natsu, glaring at her. "You were thinking lewd thoughts and I was punishing you." said Grace. The two began bickering with each other with Havoc saying,"So did you guys expect Virgo to show up when Grace said punish too or just me?".
Matrix shrugged as she said,"I guess a little but perhaps she is busy.". "We should probably get going right? We don't want to make big sis mad because we're late." said Lisanna. "I think we would Lisanna but...." said Frosch as he pointed to Grace and Natsu who were fighting each other. Happy was caught in the middle of the dust storm that was made thanks to the duo. "I got them. Just watch and learn." said Zane as he turned into a new form.
This form is String Form. He's now eight feet tall with him having a lean yet muscular figure. His skin is tan. He has a cigarette in his mouth with it currently being lit. His lavender hair is cut short ,with it looking like it was made out of silk/thread, and it currently covered his forehead. He has six pupil-less monochromatic red eyes which are hidden by a pair of curved thin black sunglasses. His mouth was open and were exposing his pointed down fangs.
He has six arms and two legs with five fingers and toes respectively. Zane is currently wearing a black double-breasted suit over a white shirt, red tie that has the symbol of a black widow on it, blue jeans with a white web pattern to it, and black dress boots with thick gray soles. He's wearing the short black robe like his other forms with Lucy noticing that Zane's guild mark was there and it was right under his superhero logo. The blond was unaware of what the superhero logo was however.
The guild mark is a platinum color and its outline is crimson red. Like with Hair Form and Voice Form earlier, this form made the guild wonder what Zane could do. "So what can this one do Zane?" said Cana. "This." said Zane as he crossed his lowest set of arms over his chest and clenched his lowest right fist. The duo of Happy and Natsu were restraining using the thread of Natsu's clothing and held in the air. His scarf's threat wasn't used. "Hey! Let me go!" said Natsu.
Zane shook his head as he said,"Nope. I won't do that until you calm down.". Natsu tried to break out of the thread with him covering himself in fire. "He manipulated Natsu's clothing to stop him from fighting. This Take Over is powerful to those who wearing clothing." said Levy. "Yeah it is except it's useless against Grace whose naked right now." said Cana. Tyrell was passed out with his nose bleeding due to the naked ice wizard. "Yeah but I can do this." said Zane.
After saying that, Zane released several strands of purple/white string from his middle and upper left hand. It made a curtain appear around the naked Grace and Zane turned to the group. "Someone get her clothes and I'll remove the curtain. Someone should help Tyrell up as well." said Zane with his lowest right hand pointing to Tyrell. "Right. I got it." said Lisanna with her gathering up Grace's clothing.
She was used to doing this since Grace has been stripping for a long time. "Put me down! I can't let Lis touch her nasty clothing." said Natsu. "Okay I will but first." said Zane. Happy was tossed into the air thanks to the string from the curtain around Gray. Said string wrapped around Happy with him saying in annoyance,"Wait. A cat shouldn't be controlled by string! It should be the other way around.". "Sorry but my string doesn't work like that. Lets go. Happy Headbutt!" said Zane.
After saying the string around Happy toss the feline toward Natsu and their foreheads collided. Both of them were naked out as Zane released Natsu from his clothes. "Oh wow. That was a creative way to stop one of their fights. No wonder why dad was so happy about you joining Zane." said Lynn with her using smelling salts to wake up Tyrell. "Thanks. I'm really good at cleaning up messes." said Zane as Lisanna handed Grace all of her clothing.
The group of Frosch, Grace, Levy, Lisanna, Tyrell, and Zane arrived at the Magnolia Train Station in the south east section of the city. They got on a train heading toward Crystal Peak. The city of Crystal Peak is southwest of Magnolia, a three hour train ride from Magnolia to Crystal Peak, and close to Margaret Town. After the train began moving, Tyrell looked at Levy. "So Levy. Do you mind telling why we're getting paid a million Jewels for a simple body guard job?" said Tyrell.
Levy looked at him as he said,"You can tell us now since I doubt Natsu would come near a train by choice.". "I'm curious too. I mean the pay is nice but what's going on Levy?" said Grace. Frosch and Lisanna agreed with the duo as the former enjoying a sundae. Zane ,who deactivated String Form so time ago didn't really care since the job sound interesting and Astaroth would kill him if he didn't take this job.
The S-Class Wizard nodded as she said,"Okay. According to Mira, the dark guild Resolute Revenants is planning on attacking Arcane World and their attack just so happen to correlate with Sorcerer Weekly's yearly Summer Slam.". "I guess the price increase makes sense since it's a dark guild but why would Mira ask for help then? I mean she isn't a slouch whatsoever." said Grace. "She has a point plus the rest of the Pride should be there." said Tyrell.
Zane looked at them with him saying,"So I got some questions. Who is Mira exactly, Who or what are the Pride, how do you become a S-Class wizard in Fairy Tail normally, will Natsu mind you being on a different team Lisanna, and what happened on the last job between you and Levy Lisanna?". "Really Zane? I get the first four questions since you and Frosch are new to Fiore but why are you curious about the last time me and Levy worked together on a job?" said Lisanna.
Frosch smiled as he said,"Zane tends to ask the questions that no one would ask.". "Ah. That makes sense. Guess that must be a quirk of yours huh Zane." said Lisanna. "Guess so. Never really thought about it." said Zane. "Okay then Frosch and Zane. I guess we're start with your first one to your last one. Mira or Mirajane Strauss is one of our six S-Class Wizards. She is known as the Demon." said Tyrell. "I see. I'm guess she's related to Lisanna and the guy who got yamcha'd." said Zane.
Grace and Lisanna looked at each other with them saying in unison,"Yamcha'd?". "It's an expression for where we're from. To be yamcha'd, it means getting destroyed badly." said Frosch with him being really good at translating the references that Zane and Team Legion Zero make. "Okay. Zane. I got to be honest. Wherever you're from is pretty weird." said Grace. "Yeah but I wouldn't have any other way. I like being weird." said Zane.
Tyrell shrugged as he said,"Yeah. So words of advice Zane. Try not to swear in front of Mira.". "Why exactly?" said Zane. "She isn't a fan of swearing which is really strange to see since she's a total bad girl and sadist. Also don't strip in front of her." said Grace with her remembering the last time she stripped in front of Mira. It was during a job that the two were on and going into her underwear plus swearing made the Demon mad.
Said client wasn't happy about his place of building being destroyed by a white-haired teenager girl just because she didn't like her guildmate's stripping in public and swearing as well. "I feel like stripping is a you problem Grace." said Zane with Team Legion Zero and the wizard agreeing with that. "I think so too!" said Frosch. "Yeah. Big sis really doesn't like when people swear. I may be her sister but I didn't know that about her until Elfman accidentally swore when we were kids." said Lisanna.
The white hair girl frowned as she said,"She was no happy about that. She forced him to wash his mouth with soap for an hour I think. She is nice though.". She wanted to make sure that both Frosch and Zane didn't get the wrong impression of Mira before meeting her. "Mira being such a prude about language is something I didn't expected at first. Erza on the other hand. I could totally seeing her doing that but she tends to be fine with swearing except when it's done too many times." said Levy.
It was one of the only things Erza and Mira could agree on since most of the time, they fought like Grace and Natsu except it was more destructive. "Okay. I won't be getting along with either Erza and Mirajane. I just naturally swear. Flirting and swearing to me is like swimming for a shark. If I'm ask to stop flirting or swearing, I'll die." said Zane. "Like my uncle Danny often says, Zane Strife does what he wants when he wants and doesn’t let common sense or logic stop him." said Frosch.
Grace shrugged as she said,"Okay then. Just know that we did warn you so be prepared for when she plant the inside of her foot in your butt or throw one of her high heels at your head. She is the Demon who will never go back on her threats.". "I know that we should be worried about this but this Mira chick sounds hot. I mean she seems and sounds like a sadist to me so when you see her, swear up a storm Zane." said Astaroth. "Sometimes Astaroth." said Havoc.
Levy looked at Zane with her saying,"As for your second question, the Pride is a group of female models.". "According to Sorcerer Weekly, these models are both beautiful and deadly just like a lioness." said Tyrell. "Oh. That name makes sense now." said Frosch, finally get the name Pride. "For question number three. To become a S-Class wizard of Fairy Tail normally, you have to be selected for the S-Class trial which is done once a year and usually around the end of the year." said Tyrell.
Zane nodded as Levy decide to add more detail to Tyrell's explanation. "Master Makarov or another S-Class Wizard usually decides who is worthy of being S-Class that year and have to compete the other candidates for a chance of being S-Class. You also have to face off against the other six S-Class wizards as well." said Levy. "Which is pretty much impossible since not a single one of them holds back except for maybe one of them except we never see him to begin with." said Grace.
She was taking about Mystogan who is really shy yet has a ferocious temper as the guild learned the hard way. "There are two other ways of becoming S-Class except it's pretty much impossible. The first way is that you have to fight against three S-Class wizards within a span of month and have to make all three of them admit defeat. The other way is pulling off a feat so great that Master will no choice but to make you an S-Class wizard." said Tyrell.
Lisanna looked at Frosch and Zane as he said,"These two ways have never happened before except for Levy here when she was only fourteen years old. She helped one of our S-Class wizard and the Iron Rock Jura prevent countless people from becoming slaves.". "Oh wow. That's impressive. So are you a member of the Pride too Levy? I mean you're both beautiful and deadly. A perfect fit." said Zane with Levy blushing. "Didn't Zane already know about that?" said Havoc.
Matrix nodded as she said,"Of course he did but he had a chance to compliment his crush. Like with swearing, flirting is natural for him.". "So the reason why Natsu shouldn't mind Lisanna being on a different team is simple. Even though master often encourages us to form teams and work together, there is no rule that says you can only be part of one team." said Tyrell. "Yeah. Sometimes, I work with the Thunder Legion even though I'm on the team with Levy and Tyrell." said Grace.
Zane nodded as he said,"That makes sense. So what is your guys team name?". "We are known as the Mystic Vanguards. It's a much more creative name than Team Natsu. We're also one of Fairy Tail's strongest team." said Levy. "Yeah. Natsu come up with the name when we were kids and neither me or Erza had the heart to tell him that the name wasn't very good. He looked so proud when he came up with it. I was shocked when Natsu asked me if Lucy could join." said Lisanna.
Tyrell looked at her as he said,"Yeah. I've never seen you guys add any permanent members before Lucy joined up. You even deny Elfman and Mira from joining your group.". "According to Natsu, she had great potential and she seemed like a good person to me. She and her spirits may be a little quirky but who isn't in Fairy Tail?" said Lisanna. "I think with Fairy Tail, you would should throw all logic out the window." said Astaroth. "That sounds little Mavis's guild to me." said Zane.
He was well aware of the petite founder of Fairy Tail's dislike for shoes since she never wore them unless she wanted to look more mature which never worked given her appearance. "So what happened on the job?" said Frosch as both Levy and Lisanna's cheerful demeanor shifted to a mixture of disappointment and disgust. "Did something really bad happen on that job?" said Zane. "Of course it did. Lets find out how." said Astaroth.
Levy looked at Zane as she said,"Yes. We were asked to handle a string of crimes going through a town and this was already a problem since the mayor didn't know who was doing it. I would have asked Natsu to join us at the time but he was on a job with Erza at the time.". "That's where you came in right Lisanna? Even though flamebrain may be an idiot, his sense of smell is better than most dogs." said Grace.
She clearly remembering the time Natsu figured out who ate Erza's strawberry cake when they were kids. Erza wasn't happy with Elfman who fed the cake to a stray animal and it made clear to the guild on one thing. You don't take anything with strawberries from Erza. "Yep. I used my Bloodhound takeover to find the gang and it turned out to be the Jiggle Butt Gang." said Lisanna as just the mention of the group caused her to shiver. "Jiggle Butt Gang?" said Frosch with his head tilted cutely to the side.
Levy sighed as she said,"A group of weirdos in tight spandex with huge butts.". She began extending her hands to both sides of her mainly to make sure that Frosch and Zane got how thick this group's hindquarters. "Big buts? That sounds like my type of villain group and one I can admire from behind." said Astaroth. "So are the JBG boys or girls?" said Zane. "Male. They also have really toxic gas. They're more comic relief than anything else." said Levy
Unknown to the others, Astaroth puked a little at the idea of men in spandex. The farting didn't bother him as much since he can't really smell. "Yeah but they do have some good. They're just confused." said Lisanna. Lisanna's ability to find the good in people is admired and this includes the worst of the worst since even they had some in good in them according to her. "So are you out of questions Zane?" said Tyrell. "Yep but Frosch has a question." said Zane. "I do!" said Frosch. "So what is it?" said Grace.
She was sick of all of these questions. "What are you guys's magic? I mean if we're going to be working together, we should know what all of us can do right?" said Frosch. "That's a good question Frosch. I use Take Over magic like my older sibling except I use Animal Soul. It allows me to turn parts of my body or my entire body into a animal of my choosing." said Lisanna as she made a pink magic circle appear around her. "Animal Soul: Cat!" said Lisanna as she was covered in pink smoke.
The smoke cleared as Frosch turned to see another cat standing there with her fur being white ,with black spots, and having Lisanna's hair. "So cool!" said Frosch as both he and Lisanna began dancing together. Back in Magnolia, Natsu shivered and couldn't explain why to the others why. "Wow. It's weird to see a talking cat not offer the other talking cat fish but I'm not against it at all." said Tyrell with a smile. "Happy is really annoying isn't he?" said Zane.
Grace nodded as she said,"Yeah. He isn't too bad except whenever he says something snarky which happens all the damn time. I'm just happy Frosch isn't Happy 2 and way more cuter than him.". I think so too!" said Frosch as Grace hugged him just as Lisanna deactivated her magic. "As you two already know, I use Heroic Script, Jutsu Shiki, and Solid Script magic primarily." said Levy. "A rather diverse move set. I like it." said Zane.
Zane looked at Levy with him saying,"So could you write the word Power to increase your strength or the word Speed to increase your speed?". "Yes but the more complex the word, the more difficult it becomes. Some words don't work at all like immortal." said Levy. "Okay then. What about the word invincible? It sounds a pretty smart idea to me." said Grace. "I would do that if it didn't cost a huge amount of magic to empower it." said Levy.
She crossed her arms as she said,"It's too much of a risk especially if I'm up against a powerful dark guild or wizard.". "Well, do you think you could make this word for me?" said Zane. He whispered something into her ears and had a faint blush on her face due to how close Zane was to her. "Um sure thing. Solid Script: Cloud!" said Levy. The word "Cloud" appeared right in front of her with Frosch touching the word. It felt soft and cushiony to him.
He smiled and began bouncing on the word, with him treating it like a bouncy castle. "This is amazing Levy! It's like Zane's Bounce Castle." said Frosch. The duo of Grace and Lisanna squealing at how cute Frosch was acting. "Wow. I never thought I would hear Grace squeal but two things. Why did you have Levy do that? And you have a spell called Bounce Castle?" said Tyrell. He turned toward Zane who had the word "Silent" written above him.
The Cross Species smiled at his son's actions. "I don't think he can hear you right now Tyrell. Zane wanted to know if I could cast two spells at the same time and well, I can. He also gave me some ideas for how I can use Solid Script: Cloud and Solid Script: Silent the other day. I can make the combination of Solid Script: Air and Solid Script: Cloud to travel. As you can see, I can make Solid Script: Cloud either soft or sturdy." said Levy.
Levy smiled as she said,"I can also apply adjectives to my words thanks to Jutsu Shiki magic. Just watch.". The word "Cloud" had runes written on it, turning pink and Frosch's nose picked something sweet. "You can make cotton candy?! Awesome!" said Frosch as he began eating the word. "Yeah she really is. She would be perfect for Natsu since she can literally make fire appear but well, a certain someone would never allow it." said Lisanna as the word "Silent" disappeared.
Zane looked at the group with him saying,"Is that someone you?". "Nope but it's a member of Team Natsu." said Lisanna. "It is Happy isn't it." said Zane. The four wizards looked at Zane with a dead panned look. "Wait. It isn't him? I totally thought that he was super possessive over him like Frosch is with me." said Zane with Frosch nodding. "Yep! I sure am!" said Frosch as he finished eating the cotton candy and went back to sitting on Zane's lap.
Lisanna smiled at this as she said,"Not really. He doesn't mind sharing Natsu but Erza. She has some serious trouble sharing.". "Which I bet hasn't made your plan any easier." said Levy with Lisanna nodding. "What plan? Zane. Read her mind and find out." said Astaroth. "I think we're good not knowing Astaroth since it's something private." said Havoc. "So what about your magic Tyrell?" said Frosch. "Hey. Aren't you curious about my magic Frosch?" said Grace.
Frosch turned to her as he said,"We already know your magic Grace since we saw it during your fight with Zane the other day.". "Oh. That's right." said Grace, feeling embarrassed. "Unlike most of Fiore's wizards, I tend to use several types of magic to handle any circumstance or job. I tend to have more Holder Type magic but I have some knowledge in Caster type magic. In fact, I'll show you one of my favorites." said Tyrell.
Before he could do that, the train had suddenly stopped. "Ladies and gentleman. We're sorry but our arrival to Crystal Peak has been delayed. Several magic barriers have been put around the city thanks to a dark guild. We've called the Magic Council and they're sending a platoon of rune knight to handle them. Thank you for your patience." said the conductor's voice thanks to the intercom. After hearing this, groans of annoyance were heard throughout the train.
Grace shared this annoyance with the rest of the train. "Seriously? I really hope Mira doesn't mind us being late. I rather not piss her off." said Grace. "She wouldn't mind too much if we explain why. She'll be more mad at the dark guild if we do that." said Lisanna. "So do you know where they are Zane?" said Frosch, getting Levy and Tyrell's attention. "Yep. They're not too far from here and the barriers too. So are you ready to go?" said Zane. "Yep!" said Frosch.
Zane stood up as Tyrell said,"Um Frosch and Zane. Where are you two going?". "To get the train moving." said Zane. "Yep. We're going to destroying some dark wizard's skulls!" said Frosch, with him cracking his knuckles. "So why don't you let the Rune Knights handle it?" said Levy. "Because a real hero doesn't ignore a cry for help plus I got a feeling that this isn't a simple attack from nomadic bandits." said Zane. "What do you mean? Do you think it's Resolute Revenants?" said Levy.
The Cross Species shrugged as he said,"Perhaps so are you guys up for joining me? If not, you can always just sit on the train and wait until I'm done clearing the path.". "I'm in." said Grace. "Me too since the train tends to be rather boring." said Lisanna. "So how are we going to get there? Going to use a teleportation spell like you did with Cana the other day." said Tyrell. "Something like that. Grace or Levy. Do you think you can make a smokescreen or a burst of light appear?" said Zane.
Grace nodded as she said,"Sure but why?". She got her answer by watching Zane make a portal appear in front of him. It was the same one that Natsu popped out of earlier. "We're going to the source directly and I just want to make sure that the dark guild is properly whelmed." said Zane. "Ah. I get your plan but don't you mean overwhelmed?" said Levy. "I know what I said. So lets get ready team." said Zane as the wizards nodding. The six of them were gone as the portal disappeared.
A good twenty feet away from the train, there were several transparent rectangular green barriers made out of magic around Crystal Peak. These barriers were prevented access to Crystal Peak using the train system. There was a group nearby these barriers and this group belonged to Resolute Revenants. They were tasked in taking care of anything that tries to destroy the barriers. The dark guild Resolute Revenants is similar to a typical mafia and Yakuza organizations.
They have their fingers in many pots with all of these pots being rather shady. Some activities that this dark guild gets involved with are blackmailing citizens such as business owners and mayors, drug smuggling, extortion, mercenary work mainly for other dark guilds in the Balam Alliance, running a prostitution ring, and weapon smuggling from other countries. Unlike most guilds, they do have a simple yet precise hierarchy within the guild of two thousand five hundred members.
In the Resolute Revenants, there are three ranks that a member could possibly be with the majority of members never go up a rank even through it's heavily encouraged by the guild master. This was mainly due to the second highest wizards having high amount of magic power and will to kill anyone who tries to take their title from them. The guild master ,known as Discord, reigns over all and holds complete dominancy of the guild due to his immense magic power.
His magic power rivals some of the strongest legal wizards from the Elite Four and has an intimating presence. He doesn't stand a chance against the guild masters of the top three dark guilds in the Balam Alliance. However, he could defeat and take down two members of the top three dark guilds. These three members are two members from the Seven Kin of Purgatory. I won't say who but I can give out some obvious hints.
For the Seven Kin of Purgatory, the two members who could be defeated by Discord are worthless without a certain thing in their possession. I hope the hint about these two was both obvious and not obvious at the same type. Directly below Discord, there were five wizards known as the Five Atrocious Beasts and they were handpicked by Discord to serve him. Each member of the group each have by given a moniker of a specific animal and color by Discord.
All five of them are all powerful wizards with them being given the wizarding rank of S-Class by the magic council. They share a sibling like connection and tends to be rather close with each other. The lowest ranked wizards aka the Scrums dressed like your typical Yakuza goons aka western style suits with dress shirts, pinstriped pants, and suspenders, colorful ties, expensive rings and sunglasses, and close cropped yet extremely slick looking hair of a variety of colors.
However, they did stick out compared to normal Yakuza goons. Some of them were going without a shirt, had furred or spiked shoulder pads, and skull themed belt buckles. Some of them even have members with long and flowing hair. They did have some females in the Scrums ,mainly among the FAB (Five Atrocious Beasts) with two of them being female, but it was mainly a sausage fest. To join the guild, they would do a sakazuki and failing a job ends them a Yubitsume.
These wizards didn't want to fail this job in particular since if they failed this job, they would get killed by the Death God of Eisenwald. However, this would happen once the dark guild was finished with their job involving some kind of woodwind instrument. This job was incredible important since they need to make sure that they acquire a certain type of Lacrima. It was extremely rare with it being made by the Obsidian Depths Mining Company aka the people who run Arcane World.
Said Lacrima was under high amount of security under the orders of the current president. It would take an elite group of thieves to rob the company but the Resolute Revenant didn't have them so they were just going to rampage through the park to take said Lacrima instead. The groups that guarded the east and west side of Crystal Pick were each five hundred men strong. Above the group of dark wizards, four grenade made of ice emerged from Zane's portals and landed on the ground.
This confused the dark guild since no one reported seeing any trains or rune knight platoons so one of the goons decided to touch one of them. This caused the grenade to emit frost and blinded their field of vision. Due to them currently not having vision, three of the Scrums accidentally set off the other three grenade. One grenade caused some of the Scrum including the Scrum who activated it to be frozen solid and the final two grenades works as a typical flashbang.
One of the leading scrum said,"Okay what the hell?! Whose the freaking genius who set off a freaking grenade?!". The Scrum who started off this chaos did this didn't have a chance to answer due to him being knocked out. Due to the thick layer of frost covering the area, the dark wizards didn't see two humans emerge from the portal before closing. These two humans were the duo of Frosch ,in his human transformation, and Grace.
Both of them had the word "Goggles" and "Mask" over their eyes and mouth respectively. "Levy and Zane's plan actually worked. Not like I didn't have faith in them or anything but still, I had my doubts about it. Ice-Make: Lance!" thought Grace as she placed her fist over her palm. Several lances made out of ice came out of her magic seal and caused the goons to groan. "Someone with either Air or Wind magic! Get rid of this damn fog already!" said a Scrum.
Two of the scrums nodded as they said,"Gale Assault!". The two releases a powerful wind, forcing the frost away from them. The Scrum managed to see about ten percent of their forces taken down by a young woman ,who was taking off her jacket, and her little brother. Both of them had the "Goggles" and "Mask" gone. "Who the heck are you punks?!" said a Scrum. "Your worst nightmare." said Frosch with a frown. "Even when he's trying to be intimating, he's still cute." thought Grace.
Before one of the Scrum could sneak up on her, she backhanded said Scrum. She had heightened reflexes thanks to being in Fairy Tail where one wizard's fighting skill improve by being part of the guild that loves to brawl. "Doesn't matter. Bedazzling Spotlight!" said a Scrum, firing out several fast bursts of light toward Frosch. Frosch easily jumped over with said bursts of light knocking out more of the Scrums instead. "Take this! Thermal Spiral!" said Frosch.
From his hands, he unleashed a storm of fire of ice, taking the Scrums by surprise and knocking them all away. "Yep. I guess I really shouldn't underestimate the transforming cat after all." thought Grace with her thinking that Frosch and Happy were on the same level in terms of fighting potential. She was clearly wrong. Meanwhile about twenty feet away, the quartet of Levy, Lisanna, Tyrell, and Zane were watching this happen.
Tyrell smiled as he said,"Way to go with the Ice-Make: Grenades of hers. It can either freeze the area around it or release a frost, blinding anything in the area. Grace and Frosch is pretty strong.". He put down his magical binoculars known as Gale-Force Viewing Goggles. These binoculars would allow the user to see things that are a far distance away. It can see over a hundred miles away at the lowest setting. "I was all for this plan at first you guys but this is just silly." said Tyrell.
Said wizard turning around to see the second part of their plan. "That's what I said but did you two listen to me? No." said Levy, crossing her arms. The second part of their plan was charging toward the group while they were distracted by the duo of Frosch and Grace. Lisanna was currently in her Animal Soul: Rhino. Her takeover is a ten foot tall rhinoceros like creature covered in silver, armored plating under a fluffy layer of white fur. She has three claws on each foot.
Her head is triangular with narrow, sky blue eyes, a pig like nose, and two tusks made out of steel. She has a short but narrow horn at the top of her snout and small. This takeover's metal plates are a hundred times stronger than steel and very hard to damage. It also had the ability to dig through the ground, manipulate the metal around its body to use as a weapon, and breath fire. It does have an Achilles Heel somewhere random on its body. If said Achilles Heel is hit, the rhino is out cold.
Even after having this particular transformation for years, the white haired wizard had no idea where said Achilles Heel is and didn't want to know where. Zane was standing nearby Lisanna with him saying,"Are you saying Lisanna is an idiot for using her Take Over magic or did she pick the wrong one?". "Not that. The Take Over is fine. Your idea of giving her Solid Script: Speed and riding her into battle like she's some kind of steed is where we have issue." said Levy.
Matrix looked at Astaroth with her saying,"So am I right to say that you should be never allowed to come up with plans again Astaroth? Just leave the plan making to Havoc and if even Havoc doesn't have a plan at the moment, don't agree to Astaroth's plans without thinking about it for a good twenty minutes Zane.". "My plan could still work! Maybe Zane could convince them to go for it! I just wish she wasn't so bestial." said Astaroth.
Havoc tilted his head as he said,"Well Astaroth. Do tell what you expect from a spell that is called Animal Soul: Rhino?". "A sexy anthro Rhino woman? Like that one Geisha from that time travel thief game Zane played once." said Astaroth. "I get that you're a massive pervert even though you're incredibly strong but where did that idea come from?" said Matrix. She was curious about what made him think this.
Astaroth smiled as he said,"Simple really. It's because we're in a dimension created by Zane himself and as we've seen multiple times, most of the women in this dimension are sexy. I just presumed that the animals were too.". "There are two things wrong with your logic. The first thing is that we don't know if there are anthropomorphic animals and the second thing is that if there was, it would probably playing something like this." said Havoc.
As Zane was ignoring Astaroth shouting,"Why does that thing play football?!", he looked right at Lisanna. "Do you think my plan is stupid too Lisanna?" said Zane. "It's better than one of Natsu's plans but I have faith in your guys to protect me so lets go for it!" said Lisanna. "Thanks for believing in me Lisanna! You're my favorite Strauss!" said Astaroth. "He says that now but once he meets Mira, that may be another story." said Matrix.
Havoc looked at her as he said,"I don't know. Lets have a little faith in him Matrix.". "Okay but just an inkling." said Matrix. "Lets just go already. I'm worried about Grace." said Tyrell, climbing up Lisanna alongside Levy and Zane. "Ah. Is it because you love her Tyrell?! I mean she is the only girl you have a bloody nose for!" said Lisanna. "I know that you and your sister love to ship our guildmates but do you really think Grace knows what love is?" said Levy.
Lisanna shrugged as she said,"Maybe she does since she sometimes does talk about which guys she likes and hates during sleepover night.". "Sleepover night?" said Astaroth. "We'll figure that out another day girls. For now, lets go Silvermane!" said Zane, holding out his sheathed sword in front of him. "Okay!" said Lisanna, charging forward with Levy making four copies of the word "Speed" appear and this boosted the rhino's speed by a good amount.
Frosch and Grace were back to back with Grace saying,"So where is our back up?". "What? Are you getting whelmed Grace?" said Frosch as he fired out a green beam of Impulse toward a group of Scrums. "Nope. I just don't want them to miss out on the beatdown. Ice-Make: Blizzard Shower!" said Grace. Above the Scrums, several ice shaped bombs appeared and came down onto them like a meteor shower.
They all exploded, causing them to get frozen. "Ah. That makes sense." said Frosch, kicking a group of them away using his foot. "How is this possible?! We're losing two wizards from Fairy Tail!" said a Scrum. Before he could get an answer, he heard,"Solid Script: Sword!". The Scrums looked up to several copies of the word "Sword" appear and all of them were made out of light. These swords caused them to be sent flying.
Frosch turned to see the rest of their group ,except for Zane, charged in as Tyrell jumped right toward Grace. "Are you okay Grace?" said Tyrell as he landed without injury. He unsheathed his longsword and it began glowing blue. "Sword Magic: Aqua Slash!" said Tyrell, unleash a wave of water from his sword. "I'm just fine. Do you honestly think I'm some helpless damsel or what?" said Grace, crossing her arms and glared at him. "No of course not. I was just..." said Tyrell.
He didn't get a chance to answer her thanks to Levy shouting,"Hey lovebirds! Focus!". The S-Class wizard ,who was still on top of Lisanna who was breathing fire, made Starsong appear and it formed a sniper rifle. She began firing several copies of the word "Bullet" from her weapon and it pierced several Scrum in their arms or shoulder. It wasn't going to kill them but knock them out thanks to her giving the bullets runes that would make them fall asleep.
Grace nodded as she said,"She's right. I'll deal with you later. I may not be Mira but like any girl in Fairy Tail except for Lucy maybe, I just don't like being called weak just because I'm a girl. Girls are strong. Ice-Make: Blizzard Bazooka!". She made her weapon appeared and began blasting away groups of Scrums away with the ice rockets. "Gotcha. Temporal Leap." said Tyrell with his body glowing gold and Frosch watched several Scrums fall to the ground. "Can Tyrell use Time Magic?" said Frosch.
Lisanna looked at him as she said,"Yep. He can accelerate, pause, or rewind time for up to an hour at most. It's pretty impressive since he works really good as a makeshift healer.". Due to her conversation, Lisanna didn't noticing five Scrums aiming their magic rifles at them. "That isn't going to happen! Guns Magic: Rapid-Fire!" said Tyrell, aiming his pistol at them and fire out bullets of gold magical energy out of it with smoke coming out of his pistol.
They destroyed the magic rifles at them and before they could do anything, they were on the ground unconscious. Nearby the Scrums, Tyrell stood by them with him slowly sheathing up his sword. "Fall to my Temporal Slash." said Tyrell. After some time, all five hundred Scrums were defeated with them trapped in several runes for the Rune Knights to pick up later. They were traveling back to the train with Lisanna saying that she doesn't mind carrying them back since it's a good workout.
Grace turned around as she said,"So since we defeat the goons, I got to ask. What about that giant eye sore?". She was pointing to the green barriers. "Leave it to Zane Grace. He's really good at destroying things." said Frosch with him being back in his cat form and sitting in Levy's lap much to Grace's not so subtle jealously. "So is every member in Fairy Tail except for Lucy I presume." said Tyrell with him rubbing his right arm.
Due to his comment earlier, he was punched by Grace. "Why did you and Grace say that? She's good at destroying things too." said Lisanna. "She is?" said Grace and Tyrell. "Of course. I mean it was mainly her spirits Cancer and Taurus but that counts right? She also punch Everlue so hard that it broke his nose and jaw!" said Lisanna. "Oh. That's cool I guess. Really didn't see that coming from Princess." said Grace, crossing her arms.
Levy looked at her as she said,"You really shouldn't judge a book by its cover and also your clothes Grace.". Said ice wizard was currently wearing nothing but her underwear. "I think I lost them some time ago. So got any spars?" said Grace. "Don't worry. I have them." said Tyrell, holding the folded up clothing. "I guess you're used to this huh?" said Frosch. "Yep. I've been picking up her clothes since we were kids and I doubt that's going to change any time soon." said Tyrell.
Frosch cupped his chin as he thought,"Did Tyrell just jinx himself? Nah. It doesn't really matter to me at all.". Lisanna stopped right by the train with the rest of the group getting off while she deactivated the transformation. She looked up to see Zane standing on top of the train and was holding Fafnir. "So what is he going to do? And is he allowed on the train?" said Lisanna. "Just watch and I don't think he cares right now." said Frosch with Zane slowly unsheathing the blade.
In his hands, he was holding it. "Okay. That blade is different compared to my blade and anyone of Erza's." said Tyrell. "Yeah but don't worry. Zane uses its power for good!" said Frosch. "Ready to go Faf? It's feeding time." said Zane. "I've been itching to cut something down for a while now and while it isn't living, that barrier will have to do." said Fafnir. "Did his sword just talk? I'm hearing something right?" said Grace. "Nope. We heard it too." said Levy, interesting in Zane's talking sword.
She heard a rumor of there being a talking sword somewhere in Fiore. Unlike Fafnir who purposefully kills any unworthy wielder, this talking sword drive its wielder to madness with the strange combination of dancing and singing. If you get the reference, good for you since that sword is the only thing I know about Soul Eater aka Atsushi Okubou's most famous work probably. I really like Fire Force but I can't get past the character Black Star's voice in the Dub.
Normally, I like Brittany Karbowski aka Black Star's voice actor but not in this series. I could just watch the Sub but I'm a Dub watcher. That won't be changing any time soon. The sword was covered in a layer of royal blue energy with Zane saying,"Satanic Zenith Wave!". He swung the sword right in front of him, making an X-shape and released two compressed crescent shaped waves of royal blue energy. The waves went toward the barriers and caused one of them to get cut several times.
The barrier was easily destroyed with the energy spreading to the other barriers. It was something like this. After seeing the barriers getting destroyed much to the shock of the Scrums on the other side of the city, Zane sheathed his sword who was happy with getting to cut something. "And that's how we do things back in Cypress Park." said Zane, jumping down to the others who were shocked. "Did you just destroy all of the barriers with a single sword slash?" said Lisanna.
Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah. Carnal has a tendency to devour anything in its path. It was also two sword slash if we're being technically accurate.". "Yeah. It was also Fafnir's attack and you know how much he loves to cut things." said Havoc. "Yep. If only he was a sexy girl, he would be the only murdering psychopath for me." said Astaroth. "I think we need to find a way for you to calm down on being horny." said Matrix.
The Cross Species looked at his guildmates with him saying,"So are we going to get back on the train already? I'm sure once the conductor recovers from the barrier being destroyed by my attack, the train will start moving again. We don't want to make the language monitor mad.". The duo of Frosch and Zane went back onto the train with Tyrell looking at Levy. The duo of Grace and Lisanna were talking to each other.
Levy looked at the male with him saying,"Levy. I think we brought someone who could probably take down a dark guild by himself. He easily trumps my power alongside Mira.". "You're right. I got that impression from the other day but I also thought Zane was just showing off too. You shouldn't have picked her in your example after what happened Tyrell." said Levy. She looked at Lisanna with her whispering,"We should mention it around her or her siblings since they still blame themselves".
Tyrell nodded as he whispered,"Ah right. Still, I can't believe it happen to begin with.". "That's just the risk you take whenever you go on a S-Class Job. It's something I learned the hard way." whispered Levy as she got onto the train. Both Grace and Lisanna went after her as Tyrell shook his head. "It seems that every one who joins Fairy Tail has a very hard time forgetting any personal trauma. Myself included." said Tyrell.
As he got on board, the conductor's voice said,"Ladies and gentleman. Thanks to some local wizards from the Fairy Tail guild, the dark guild has been taken care of along with the barrier that was surrounding Crystal Peak. Please enjoy the rest of your train ride without any more interruptions going forward.". The train cheered as it began moving toward the city and the train station where a certain wizard was waiting for our group in Crystal Peak.
It took about ninety minutes but the train had eventually reached its destination at Crystal Peak with the conductor ,through the intercom, telling all those on the train to depart. Hearing the voice caused Zane to remove his headphones for a second. "It seems we finally made it." thought Zane. Zane looked down to see Levy sleeping on his lap. "It's weird to see a lap pillow done like this. It's usually done with the girl's lap being used as the pillow rather than the males." said Havoc.
Matrix looked at him as she said,"Did you forget that Rachel does this all of the time when she and Zane are in the same room together?". "No but with Rae, she usually has Zane turn into Zara since her thighs are much softer according to her." said Havoc. "And thicc Havoc. Don't you dare forget about that crucial detail." said Astaroth. "It's a good thing Athena isn't here Astaroth since she hates the word with a passion." said Matrix.
She remembered all of the times someone said thicc in front of her and was promptly punished because of it. Levy had fallen asleep and Zane didn't have the Essence to wake her up. He looked around to see that the rest of his group had taken a quick little nap. After putting her clothes back on earlier, Grace was using Tyrell's shoulder as a pillow with Tyrell smiling. Frosch was using Lisanna's lap as a pillow since his normal pillow aka Zane's lap was taken. "I really should wake her but..." thought Zane.
Astaroth chuckled as he said,"Is it because this scene reminds you of whenever Rachel wants to use as a pillow or maybe one of your kids back in the day?". "I think both Astaroth but mainly the former. It's really cute." said Matrix. During the time asleep, Levy's face was pressed against his stomach and wrapped her arms around his waist. Despite not liking it, she had a strong grip on him but it didn't bother him too much since he has been hugged much harder before.
Zane recalled when his grandfather Darin broke his arms with a hug once and Rachel made him regret that. It was truly interesting to see a woman like Rachel break a man like Darin. "Levy. Wake up. We've arrived finally." said Zane with him gentle shoving her. The response she gave him wasn't what he expected."But I don't want to get up. The kotasu is so warm." muttered Levy as she squeezed him tighter and brought her face closer to his stomach.
She purred at the end with Zane smiling. The Cross Species shoved Levy with a bit more force and her eyes slowly opened. "Yep. She's been affected by Zane's natural body heat and will become another victim of it's immense power! I really don't want to see Frosch and Levy fight over him because of that of all things." said Havoc. The Vordlarin began to imagine a chibi Frosch and Levy having a slap fight over Zane.
Even through they couldn't see the same thing as Havoc, the duo of Astaroth and Matrix could tell what he was thinking. They have been together for a long time now. "I highly doubt those two are going to fight over Zane's body heat. Only the twins would do something like that." said Matrix. "Yeah. Those two love fighting over Zane's heat but will always lose to the main girl who stole Zane's Essence. I think you know who I'm talking about." said Astaroth.
Zane smiled as he said,"Morning sleeping beauty. I know that I make a very good body pillow but we need to get off the train. Don't want to piss off Mirajane right?". Levy saw where she was and her eyes widened in surprise. She sat back up with her having a dark red blush on her face. "I can't believe I just did something like that!" thought Levy. She had never let another guy get so closer to her other than Romeo but that was back when he was little and was a very shy young man.
His dolls helped him break out of his shell and being a member of Fairy Tail helps one become more social. The rate of becoming more social depends on a wizard by wizard basis since Mystogan is still rather shy after being a member for over three years. He was getting better but at a slow rate than they expected. He's also quite violent."Are you okay Levy? Your face is all red." said Zane. "I'm fine. So how are you going to wake up the others?" said Levy.
The three wizards woke up as Zane blinked. "Um. What just happened?" said Zane with him holding the sleeping Frosch in his arms like a little baby. "They must have detected Mira's magic power and they realize that pissing off would be a rather big mistake." said Levy with her petting Frosch who smiled at her touch. "Yep so lets go going." said Grace with a faint amount of fear on her face and grabbed her bag, dashing out of the train compartment.
She seemingly moved at the speed of light with her not wanting to piss off either Erza or Mira. The others followed suit as Lisanna said,"Don't worry Zane. I think Grace is just being a bit dramatic. Mira isn't that scary.". "Didn't Mira once put her in the hospital just because she went full commando in front of you and Happy when he was just born?" said Tyrell. "Yeah but Erza helped her do that. It was more like seventy percent Erza and fifteen percent Mira enacting the punishment." said Lisanna.
Zane looked at her as he said,"Wait a sec. What about the other fifteen percent?". "You'll figure it out eventually once you meet the rest of Fairy Tail." said Levy. Zane looked at her with him shrugging as they walked off the train just as the final bell rang signaling that it was going back to Magnolia. The five eventually saw Grace looking for Mira and Tyrell tapping her shoulder. The ice wizard jumped three feet in the air with Lisanna giggling.
Grace landed on the ground with Tyrell saying,"You really need to calm down Grace. I doubt she's going to be mad at us for something that was out of our control.". "Yeah I guess but I rather not make her mad." said Grace with her standing back up and brushing her clothes of dust. "So where are we supposed to meet up with big sis anyways? I don't smell her anywhere." said Lisanna. "Huh. Did she have hyper smell like Daddy?" said Matrix.
Havoc looked at her as he said,"Doubt it. I think she's using her magic to do this maybe. I could be wrong though.". "We're supposed to meet her at the front of Arcane World. It should be about ten minutes away from the station." said Levy. "Then lets get going!" said Grace. She rushed out of the station with Tyrell saying,"So does she know where Arcane World is or what?". "Oh. She'll find out eventually." said Levy as the others followed after her.
