A/N: Welcome to Episode 6. We have met some enemies from Terrarune and also this strange one who captured both Volcanis and Wraith. Is he friend or foe? We may never now. I'm planning on this being something like a Saturday morning cartoon but with a god story, I do hope that it's a good thing for you because it's good with me. Lets begin at Monday a week after Episode 5. Oh and this title is related to a dog days note the Anime. Oh and all human like Phantoms will have different color skin than normal. Also all athletes of Cypress Park wear the same jacket as Brad.
Narrator P.O.V.
Danny said,"Dude! You're on the front page of the paper!". Zane put his arms behind his head and he said,"Do you really think I care?". The two were walking to school and Danny said,"Come on man. I mean you look really cool.". "True but I really don't like being used for tourism. I mean why would a city want to prioritize super villains." said Zane. "A city in serious need of tourism. I mean we have our Cypress Oxs." said Danny.
Zane said,"We also have other stuff here but I guess the tourist board is rather small and doesn't really have a lot of confidence in itself man.". "You really need to be more positive or you will be a goth or emo. There's a difference but I don't care." said Danny. "I would but that's not fun. I'm a realist buddy so how are the nano machines doing?" said Zane. Danny smiled and he said,"I love them man! Your mom is the freaking best!".
Zane said,"At least, you're not going mad with power yet.". "Don't worry man. I've only used this to actually have a pretty good G.P.A and not need you or Karen's help in studying." said Danny. "I think our study sessions are pretty nice." said Zane. "You just like having Kristen there. You two are good friends now right?" said Danny. "Yes and I don't want to make Bradley hate me more than he already does." said Zane.
Danny said,"I guess you're right. I think I can see the school.". "Let's test your powers a bit. What can you see from here?" said Zane. "Okay. Let me look. There's an assemble today man. I see Mr. Barnett flirted with Ms. Foster." said Danny. "Oh. That is rather normal for Cypress High." said Zane. "I think something about animals. Zane, I have a really bad feeling about today." said Danny. "I think we are on the same note here buddy." said Zane who sighed.
The boys were walking with Rachel with all of them holding boxes. All of the boxes had "Pets for Everyone!" with a picture of a cat, dog, and human shaking hands. "So explain to me why we are the ones breaking our backs again Rachel? I'm not a hard worker." said Zane. "It isn't my fault. I hundred percent blame Karen." said Rachel. "Wow. You're just awful. She's your friend." said Danny and Zane in unison. "I think you should be happy about this Alvarez." said a voice.
The three then saw the organizer of this week's assembly standing there with Gwen and Karen who weren't holding boxes but signs with the cat logo. She had dark brown skin with long and wavy waist length black hair. She has dark blue eyes. She is more buff and plump than say Gwen and Karen who made this point clear by standing next to them. She wears a violet sleeveless shirt with a green skirt and yellow tennis shoes.
She was wearing a pair of purple squarely earrings, an orange necklace, and she has two bracelets on each wrists with the right one being lime green and the left one being ocean blue. "We would be very happy about that except I hate this cause plus you Vicky/Victoria Mills." said Zane with a grimace. "I wonder why Zane hates Vicky." thought Gwen. She didn't know all of Zane's past just yet being that she's still learning.
Vicky rolled her eyes as she said,"This is actually important nerd. A pet can really change your life for the better.". "While you're not wrong, most people treat their pets like spoiled brats like you" said Zane. "I really think we shouldn't get involved." whispered Karen. "That is a good idea Karen." said Rachel. "So what's in here anywhere? I mean you just told me to carry this and honestly, I kinda want to know what it is." said Danny.
Gwen soon looked at the top of the box and she said,"Wow. Technology is quite advanced now. I mean inside of this box, there are robot cats.". She opened the box and she picked up a robotic kitten with it meowing. "Okay. This is seriously messed up!" said Zane. "You really don't understand the future Zit. How about you just go be a really negative jerk somewhere else? Just drop off the boxes in the auditorium." said Vicky who walked off.
Danny said,"Dude. She's totally right about something.". Zane then glared at him and he said,"And what would that be Danny old friend?". "You're being really negative Zane. I mean look how cute this thing is." said Rachel while holding the cat meowed. She gave her box to Zane with him groaning. "I really do like animals but real ones." said Zane. "Wow. I mean I don't blame you Zane but you should be happy for her Zane." said Karen. "No." said Zane whose Crisis Judgement went off.
The lockers around them began to shake and Gwen said,"Zane.". "Yep. I may be a peaceful and chill dude but sometimes, I need to release my anger." said Zane. A person stood there and he was dressed weird. His skin was a eerie and glowing green color. He was wearing a gray lab coat and trench coat hybrid with a hood over his head. He was wearing a black shirt with the symbol of a pink brain and no legs. His entire head was covered only showing that he had glowing red eyes.
Rachel said,"So whose this guy?". "I have many names girl. I was once called the electromagnetic lord of Earth but I've passed on to the Spectral Realm/Terrarune. My name is Astrino and you all going to be my puppets humans." said Astrino. "Power Up!" said Zane. He turned into Zero as Astrino moved his hands up. Several boxes flew up and he said,"Here's a special delivery of pain for you child!".
The boxes soon flew toward Zane with him creating a steel gray energy barrier. The blocks went to the sides of him. "You guys! Head toward the assembly and take Vicky her boxes!" said Zane as he deactivate Nether. "Why do you want her to get her way?" said Gwen. "He rather not deal with an angry Vicky." said Danny. The four were gone as Astrino said,"You're smarter than I thought. I heard a rumor. You somehow defeat Wraith with Steel Gray Nether. Interesting.".
Zane soon jumped toward him and he said,"What can I say? I'm really good with the color gray. You should get a taste of my gray thumb!". Astrino was hit by a giant energy thumb and he went to the wall. He then phased through it and Zane flew right after him. The two flew through the sky and they were in the rafters of the auditorium. "Okay. This isn't good." said Astrino who looked down to see several students waiting for the assemble to start.
Zane said,"Got a fear of getting your but kicked in front of a crowd?". "I was going to say the same thing about you boy but I think you're going to be made into a fool!" said Astrino. His eyes then glowed blue and he said,"You humans have done several plays about romance so how about you enjoy it from up close?". Zane's eyes widened as he started to see clothes ,from plays, flying toward him. "Okay. I better not destroy anything or I'll be really dead." thought Zane.
The Phantom looked down and he said to himself,"I can't let him figure out my ingenious plan so time for you to disappear!". Zane was then blinded by a spotlight and Astrino created a blue energy crystal sphere which he threw at Zane. He went flying toward the ground into some props and the collusion. "We will be fighting again soon Zero and next time, you will be crushed under my power!" said Astrino.
He was gone as Zane groaned. "Great. What's could make this worst?" said Zane. The curtain went up and Zane said,"Son of a....". Earlier, Gwen got in her seat in between Karen and Rachel. "So who was that guy anyway?" said Danny who sat to the right of Rachel. "He's a strange one but I have no doubt that Zane will have no problems defeating this guy." said Karen. "Yeah. I mean he defeated the best warrior right?" said Rachel.
Gwen saw Vicky walking toward the podium on the stage in front of the closed curtain. "I just hope that once Astrino is defeated, Vicky doesn't kill him." said Gwen. Vicky held the mic as she said,"My fellow students. I have to tell you that I truly have a way to make everyone have a pet even if they've allergies. Introduce the Robo-Pet!". The curtain then went up to show the poster with a giant black "Z" and the crowd was shocked by this.
Vicky turned around to see Zane who was holding a bucket of black paint and a paint brush. "Okay. I can totally explain this. You see it was......" said Zane. "ALVAREZ! YOU'RE DEAD!" yelled Vicky with the football team right behind her. "Okay. I guess Zane was right. He's dead." said Danny. Later that day, Zane was walking with Gwen and Rachel. "I do feel really bad for you Zane. I mean you got detention for how long?" said Rachel.
Gwen said,"I think it was a month.". "And I have to repair those stupid robots with my money. I mean I didn't have a chance to explain myself but they always side with the popular kids!" said Zane who punched the wall. The trio stopped in front of his locker and he said,"And since I have the worst luck in all of the realms, I have a new locker.". He held a paper and he said,"Okay. I had Locker 347 but now I have 497.".
The hallway got quiet and Rachel said,"Look at it Zane.". He turned to see a really rusty and very old locker with Zane said,"Are you serious Rae? I mean it isn't like I deal with supernatural stuff every day.". "Zane. I thought you would know about the legend of Locket 497. You have been a student longer than me." said Gwen. Zane opened his locker and he saw a diamond-framed mirror hanged in the back. He touched it and it was shining.
Zane said,"So what's the deal? I mean you're freaking out Gwen and you're scared of a..". His Danger Sense then went off and he was slammed into the mirror. "Hey! Have a closer look at it Zitty!" said a cocky voice. Brad stood there with two members of the football team plus Kristen who wasn't happy about that. "What do you want Brad?" said Gwen. "Oh. Did I make the little witch girl mad? I know the perfect thing to make you happy." said Brad with a smile.
He lifted Zane up and he threw him into his locker with him slamming the door shut. The three jocks walked away laughing and Kristen said,"I'm sorry about that Zane.". "This locker is rumored to be cursed but I guess you know that now." said Rachel. Zane kicked the door open and he fell down. "He is a jerk. I don't get why you would date this guy." said Zane who growled. "Bradley can be good and I'll see you in Bio. Bye Zane." said Kristen.
She then walked off as Gwen said,"So I know that you're not a petty guy but Bradley or Bolt has gone too far. He and his friends need to get some payback.". "Gwen. I thought Eon would teach that using your powers like that would be in the wrong. You know the saying Gwen. With every action, there's a good and bad reaction. We better get to class." said Zane. "You're right Zane." said Rachel. The three walked off as a voice said,"Time to avenge them.".
Later, Zane was hanging with Danny and Karen who was in the boy's gym class. They were in the bleachers. "So Zane. I heard a awful rumor of you getting Locker 497." said Karen. "So sorry for you bro." said Danny. "It isn't that bad you guys. I mean cleaning up the boys's locker room after football practice is far worse. I think the team is going to make my life a living hell the next couple of weeks all because of my bad luck." said Zane.
Karen said,"So is it actually cursed?". "Don't worry so much Karen. I mean if it is, I'll be able to take care of it with this!" said Danny. His hands turned into emerald green gauntlets with the boy saying with a smile,"The Phantom Smashers! I will able to actually fight alongside you and help you out man as a hero.". "Thanks man. I'm sure that I'll be fine because well, practice makes perfect." said Zane who soon slapped Danny to make sure that no one saw his power.
Later, Zane was at his locker and he turned over to see one of the jocks with him bullying one of the less popular kids with his fellow jock. The bullying jock had chin length black hair with streaks of green in it, brown eyes, and a huge smirk on his face aka Bryan Jones. "Hey Dweeb! What's for lunch today?" said Bryan. "Um. I think it is..." said the kid. Bryan punched him and he said,"A Knuckle Sandwich!". The two jocks laughed as Zane sighed with closing his locker.
The locker was glowing pink and the voice said,"Time to avenge.". Bryan stood there with his fellow jock grabbed the less popular kid's glasses. "Go long man!" said the jock. Bryan rushed away with the other jock throwing the glasses down the hallway. Zane's locker door opened and it hit Bryan directly in his face. He was out cold with the other jock shocked and confused. The glasses landed back on the unpopular kid and he walked off more confused.
A boy with glasses was pushing a projector on a cart with Hannah who stop the car with her foot and she leaned on it. "This stuff is so cool." said Hannah. Austin Lawrence ,who is a good member of the football team along with being a Korean with short black hair and blue eyes, had sneaked behind the dweeb and Hannah said,"Could you like teach me how it works stud?". The boy had secretly tied his shoelaces together and the voice said,"Time to avenge.".
The pink glow appeared once again from Zane's locker and it went flying across the ground. It ended as it hit the mask of the school's mascot aka a ox. It caused Austin to stumble around the hall before he collided directly with the fire extinguisher. The case opened up and the foam came flying out with it hitting Hannah causing a high pitch scream with the glass breaking. The pink energy went toward the dweeb whose shoelaces were back to normal with the boy not the wiser.
It was lunchtime and at the A-listers table, they were spooked. "And out of nowhere, Zit's locker door went open and knocks me out like being hit by an bull!" said Bryan. Hannah was trying to get out of the foam out of her hair and she said,"I'm like going to like brushing this gunk of my hair for like a hair or something!". "It's totally like this place is haunted!" said Austin who shivered. Nearby them, the group (Danny, Gwen, Karen, Rachel, and Zane) were eating lunch.
Gwen glared at Zane who said,"Okay. Stop with the look. I swear to Buddha and Gandhi that I didn't lift a finger.". Rachel looked over at Brad who was about to sit down in between Austin and Bryan but he dumped his food on Kristen who was anger. She glared at him and he said,"I swear babe! It's a ghost!". She glared at him and she walked over to the bathroom. "You're here so you couldn't have done it." said Rachel. "I'm just impressed that you haven't used your powers for evil." said Karen.
Vicky entered the cafeteria and Zane said,"And I'm going to be hiding you guys.". He then hid under the table and Danny said,"Dude. She isn't even looking for you. It's good that someone got revenge for Erin Palmer.". "Erin Palmer?" said Gwen and Zane. "Erin Palmer was the last person who had your locker and this was over twenty years ago." said Karen. "Wow. That's old." said Rachel with a confused look. "So why is my locker cursed?" said Zane.
Karen said,"Well, Erin was a really popular girl and even more than Vicky, Hannah, Kristen, and Roxy combined.". "That doesn't sound so bad." said Gwen. "Well, everyone has enemies and boy, she had her enemies. She died thanks to them right before a big dance at her college. There's a rumor that her ghost haunts her locker to this very day." said Karen. "Creepy." said Rachel who shivered. "I do feel bad for her." said Zane. "I want to see a picture of her." said Danny.
The girls sighed and Vicky stood there with an angry gaze. "What? I didn't do anything to you in the past couple of hours. It's a record lady." said Zane. "Listen Zit. You and your dorky friends are so the cause of what happened to Austin, Bryan, and Brad so I think you should get your just desserts." said the girl who ducked. Zane was pelted with several pies and the room started to laugh at him. "Wow. I can't believe his luck." said Danny.
Brad said with Bryan and Austin,"Hey guys. Check out Zane here. He looks like a clown just like his mom!". Zane wiped the dessert off his face and for a second, his eyes glowed red. "You need to calm down Zane." said Karen. "Thanks Kar....." said Zane. He was then attacked by several plates of food and Brad said,"I just thought you need the whole meal Zit.". He and his friends walked off as Zane grumbled to the locker room. "Poor guy." said Gwen.
Brad was at his locker in a student-less hallway and he was humming a tune. Zane stood there and he said,"Karma Brad.". His danger sense went off with him noticing that that his locker was beginning to glow pink. "Shit. I have to stop Astrino." thought Zane. He jumped into the broom closet and he turned into Zero. He turned invisible as he saw Brad getting lifted into the air. He was thrown like a football and into a trash can. "Ouch. I actually feel bad for him a bit." said Zane.
He then saw a girl pop out of his locker and he said,"Wow. She's really cute. I'm so weird.". She had orange hair that goes up to her shoulders and aqua blue eyes which looked warm. She wears a cute pair of black and white-framed glasses with clear frames. She was wearing a long-sleeve v-neck green shirt, black pants, and a pair of simple black flats. She was wearing a black and white headband with a aqua colored dolphin on the top of it. She had light blue skin.
She looked at Zane and she said,"Hey. Can you see me?". "In a way yes." said Zane. "I can't believe it!" said the girl. She hugged him and Zane said,"What's wrong?". "It's been a long time that I have been on Earth and I get to see the reincarnation of Johnny Vincent! Everyone will be so happy to see you again!" said the girl. Zane let her go and he said,"Listen miss. My name is Zane Alvarez or in this form Zero. I'm not Johnny Vincent.".
The girl said with a confused look,"My name is Erin Palmer but my friends call me Aqua. So why do you have his aura? I can sense it inside of you and it's fighting against a Sorcerer.". Zane was quiet as the two heard,"How cute. I guess the rumors were right about you kid.". Astrino stood there with his arms crossed. "Astrino! What are you doing here?!" said Zane with his hands glowing red.
Astrino who was crackling his knuckles said,"Easy boy. I just came here to get back on you and also make you pay for hurting her.". "Zero. We have to run now!" said Erin. "Why Aqua? I can totally handle this guy. I did defeated Wraith." said Zane. "Oh really? You completely defeated that brat but compared to me, he is nothing." said Astrino. His hands glowed blue and the two saw the lockers were glowing blue. They opened and anything inside flew outside.
Inside of the cafeteria, several lunch trays suddenly hit into students and Karen whispered,"Do you think Zane is doing this?". "No. Even with his power, he isn't able to do something on this level. That Phantom must be back." said Gwen. "Lets go stop him Gwen!" said Danny. He ran out of the room as the girls ran after him. The others in the cafeteria ran out of the school for a different reasons. In one of the science labs, the equipment was cracking and exploded.
Back in the hallway, Erin and Zane had several amount of school supplies fly through them. "You should fight me man to man!" said Zane. "I would but you aren't a man after what you did! You are a monster JV!" said Astrino. A red ray came out of his eyes which slam directly into Zane which launched him right through a wall. "Zane!" said Erin. She flew off as Astrino smiled as he followed the two.
Meanwhile, Kristen was at her locker. She just return from the locker room after cleaning herself up due to Brad's food bath. "So why the hell am I dating Brad again? He's such a slob!" thought Kristen with a sigh. While walking away, she didn't noticed or see Zane ,who was invisible, flying above her with Astrino. "Die bastard!" said Astrino with a noticeable glare. His left arm transformed into a giant mechanical version of itself and it smashed Zane into the ground.
He was out cold and back to Zane. Erin found Zane and she went over to him. Astrino landed on the ground and Zane's friends found them. "My name is Erin Palmer. I've always been there for the geeks and the ones who can't defend themselves!" said Erin. She flew toward Astrino but he turned intangible. She went flying toward the lockers. Danny helped Zane up and he said,"So is that the person who owned your locket last? She's cute for a dead girl.".
Astrino said with his power gathering,"You humans are extremely disgusting. I do hope you enjoy this!". In his right hand, a computer monitor appeared and he threw it at Zane. Gwen then made an green magic circle which blocked the monitor causing the screen to crash into the ground. "Fine. I guess you will live a little longer boy. See you again Johnny Vincent, Zero, or should I call you Cross-Species." said Astrino who turned into a puff of smoke.
Zane later woke up in the nurse's office and he said,"Man. What hit me? It felt like I was being hit by a septa bus.". His Danger Sense went off with him looking to his left and he saw Erin looking right at them . "You're awake Johnny!" said Erin. She hugged him and he said,"It's Zane Erin.". "Oh right Zane! I forgot for a second. Sorry." said Erin Zane sat up and he said,"What happened?". "Astrino is a level 8 Phantom and you're at best Level 5. You didn't stand a chance." said Erin.
Zane said,"Thanks for the ray of confidence there Aqua.". "It's true." said Erin. "So where is the freak with the hood?" said Zane. "Your Sorcerer friend and the boy ran after he cleaned your clock earlier. Everyone in Terrarune talks about you. You're half Sorcerer meaning you're able to cast spells and you're half Phantom meaning you're able to use Nether. Why stick with the steel gray variation by the way?" said Erin.
Zane said,"I've tried to do the other ones but I can't Aqua. According to my teachers, there is some sort of mental block. This may sound rude but what are you still doing here?". "Well, I just feel like being here. I mean your friend with the glasses and black hair had glasses plus you're the only one who can actually comfort me like you did." said Erin. "I have an idea to fix that so let me get you a body." said Zane.
Later, Zane was walking with Erin who looked more human before. "Wow. That's impressive. What is that called?" said Zane. "It's called Human Shift. Phantoms are able to turn into humans with this little trick." said Erin. "Hey! Give me my drink!" yelled a voice. The two saw Brad and he was mad at the soda machine. "Should we help him?" said Erin. "I got this." said Zane. He hit the machine right and the can came out.
Brad drinks it and he crushed the can. "Thanks Alvarez." said Brad. "No problem." said Zane. "Hey. I will convince the teachers to lighten up on your detention if you help me get a couple of sodas for me and my friends." said Brad. "Sure thing." said Zane. He punch the machine as several sodas came out with Brad smiling. "How did you do that? I mean that machine has always been a piece of shit even since my days as a student." said Erin.
Zane said,"You need the magic touch Aqua.". He threw the sodas toward the team and he said with a smile,"We square now?". "Yeah. You're not so bad Alvarez." said Austin who punched Zane. "So this is new." said Kristen. She then stood there with Hannah, Roxy, and Susan Young. Roxy Lydia Stars has shoulder length platinum blond hair, green eyes, and a perfect figure. She is wearing a pair of black knee high suede boots, a dark purple mini skirt with a hot pink belt, and a matching crop top.
Susan Young had shoulder length brown hair with a handful of the hair being in a ponytail, brown eyes, and a darker skin than her friends. She was wearing a orange/yellow sweater with a white top under it, brown jeans, and blue tennis shoes. "I can't believe how nice Zane is being to them! He knows about the social order right?!" said Hannah. "I don't think he cares." said Susan. "Yeah." said Roxy with a smirk.
Brad said,"Alvarez!". The jocks cheered to Zane with Danny and Gwen ,who had lost Astrino's Aura earlier, came in. Gwen said,"Wow. What did we miss?". "I guess Zane helped the A-listers out." said Danny. "He used his magic touch to give his pals sodas." said Erin. "Yeah. So who are you? I feel like I know you from somewhere." said Danny. "Aqua is borrowing her body for a while." said Zane as he handed his friends a soda.
Austin put his arms around Zane with him saying,"Hey Z man. We are short one for touch football so are you in man?". "Sure thing. I'm in." said Zane. "Sweet bro." said Austin. The cross-species was dragged by the jock and Danny said,"This isn't a good sign guys.". "Yeah. JV is going to school them. He used to be able to make college football players bad." said Erin. "I see. So whose is JV?" said Gwen. "JV's Zane but the young version." said Erin. "Huh?" said the two.
Later, Erin was sitting with Danny, Gwen, Karen, and Rachel in the stands of the football field and the track. "I still can't believe that Zane is doing this." said Rachel. "I guess Zane is trying to be more social." said Karen. "That's a nice thought Karen. I really feel like Zane is planning something evil." said Gwen. "He won't would he?" said Erin. "I guess you really don't know Zane. He may not like fighting but he doesn't mind doing a prank." said Danny.
On the field, Zane was in a group with the jocks and Brad said,"Okay Alvarez. After the snap, you will handle the ball got it?". Zane nodded and thanks to his very enhanced hearing,"After he gets the ball, we will attack him got it?". "Oh. You'll get it." thought Zane. The two groups got ready for the football snap. Bryan snapped the ball to Brad who winked at the other group who got the signal. Brad threw the ball to Zane with both teams rushing toward him.
Karen said with her hands covering her eyes,"Well, it was nice knowing him.". "Zane'll become a full Phantom now." said Gwen. The teams were about to tackle Zane to the ground but Zane dodged their tackle by jumping over them. He walked to the other side of the field and Kristen said,"Wow. I didn't see that coming.". Zane threw the ball down and he said,"Well, I guess you guys got schooled by a nerd. How tragic.".
Kristen hugged Zane and she said,"That's awesome Zane!". "Thanks Kristen." said Zane. Hannah sighed and she said,"I guess you're not so bad Zane.". "Okay. Did you just compliment me?" said Zane with fake shock. "Shut up Alvarez!" said Hannah. "Hey! Whose up for a party at Alvarez's place?!" said Brad. The crowd cheered and Zane thought to himself,"I'll be able to clean it up before they get home right?".
Rachel said,"Wow. Zane's really having the life that he always wanted.". "Yeah but we're actually going to a cool party. I mean cheerleaders are going to be there." said Danny. Erin felt something and Gwen said,"What's wrong?". "Nothing. I just have to talk with Zane about something." said the girl. She walked down and Vicky walked up to Zane. "Hey Zane. I was thinking that if you actually said something about my cause, you won't have any detention." said Vicky.
Zane pondered for a bit and he said,"Nah. I mean those things are freaks of nature. They may be our pets now but they may attack us.". "I think you're crazy man. I mean look at this thing. It's actually kind of nice." said Bryan holding a robot puppy. Zane's danger sense went off as the robotic pets then attacked the crowd surrounding them. "Told you so." said Zane. He looked up and Astrino was above them with the clouds gathering above him.
Zane thought,"I need to get out of here.". Astrino looked down and he said,"Why do you hide from me JV? I thought you would try and stop me like you did back then. I mean you're nothing but a freak now. I guess I should bring you out of your hiding spot.". The robots went toward each other and Zane thought,"Uh oh. I need to run.". Zane turned to see that his crowd of students were watching Astrino who were making the robots dance and the boy face palmed.
He made his way behind the bleachers and he saw the rest of his friends. "So why is he to begin with and how did he get here from Terrarune to begin with?" said Danny. "Well, there is a rumor inside the Spectral Realm. It involves doors heading toward Earth. My home/territory/zone is nearby a door aka a mirror and that's how I got here." said Erin. "So how did Astrino get here?" said Karen. "I'm just lost about him to begin with. He's entertain them now with the robots." said Rachel.
Gwen said,"It doesn't matter how he got here you guys. We need to send him right back to Terrarune before he causes some real trouble.". "Wait. I have a idea. We need your mirror Erin." said Zane with a smile. "Okay. I'll go with her to get it since I can break into a locker without slashing in pieces no offense Gwen." said Danny. "Okay. I'll try and get the others away so you two can fight mano a mano." said Gwen. "We'll help. Kick some but Zane." said Karen and Rachel.
The three girls ran off with Danny and Erin running to the school. "Power Up!" said Zane. Zane turned into a superhero and he went flying toward Astrino. The hooded Phantom didn't see Zane and he was in the ground thanks to Zane turning his legs into a bulldozer blade. The crowd of students was gone as Astrino smiled. "Ah. I got your attention Johnny boy. Time to make you feel the thunder of Jealously!" said Astrino.
The clouds ,that were formed above Astrino, went over to Zane with them producing thunder. They were blue and Zane evaded them. "Okay. I'm really getting sick of this storm of yours boy. I think you need a bright outlook!" said Zane. His eyes glowed red with him creating a giant ball of fire and Astrino thought,"What is that!? That isn't Animus or Nether! I thought he was the one able to do that one kind of energy. This attack of his is something else.".
Zane said,"Feel my anger! Nuclear Eruption!". The ball ,that Zane used on George, flew right toward Astrino and the Phantom moved the robotic pets in front of him. They created a make shift shield and the ball of fire collided with the metal. It caused an explosion with Astrino's hood being blown off and Zane held himself in the ground with energy spikes. The smoke vanished from their battlefield and Astrino's head was revealed.
He has glowing red eyes and under his eyes, he had a single gold stripe going horizontal. He had long silver hair with it covering his entire head including his eyes. Zane could obviously see his pulsing and glowing green brain. "Dude. I think you need to wear a bandanna over your head. I mean your brain is sticking out and pumping right now." said Zane pointing to his head. "I know that JV but I don't care. This is how I died and became Astrino." said Astrino.
Zane said,"How about you tell me how you died and we stop this fighting?". "Excuse me? You are Zero! Hater of Phantoms!" said Astrino with him putting his hood over his head. "That was the last Zero Astrino. I'm the one who likes Phantoms so how about we talk on the roof? If you refuse, I will end your life." said Zane. Astrino shivered as Zane's aura increased. "Okay. Let us have our chat on the roof JV." said Astrino. He was gone as Zane said,"I'm not Johnny Vincent!".
The two sat on the roof with Astrino said,"If you try and attack me, I'll kill you and everyone in the city with ease.". Zane went back to normal and he said,"I'm not going to attack you Astrino. Tell me how you died and became a Phantom.". "You're really smart or stupid JV." said Astrino. "My name is Zane Vincent Alvarez not Johnny Vincent." said Zane. The man laughed and he said,"I guess you're not him. JV is confident about himself unlike you.".
Zane sighed and Astrino said,"I was once a student like you and I had a crush on a girl who was out of my league with me meaning that. I tried to impress her by being her tutor in English but I pissed off her suitor aka a greaser.". "Wait. How old are you?" said Zane. He dodged a giant bolt of lightning and Astrino said,"Ignoring that comment. It was the night of the Spring Bash when I was corner by them. They dumped gas on me.".
Zane said,"I'm going to guess that in your haste to get rid of the gas, you found a match or you got in a heated situation.". "You are a smart kid. When I came to, I met this Phantom who helped me and I came back to get my revenge on those jerks but they're long gone now." said Astrino. "Hey Astrino." said Zane. "It's Aster." said Aster. "Well Aster, I'm sorry about this but I have to send you back." said Zane.
Aster said,"I understand why but may I come back?". "If you don't cause too much trouble, sure thing Aster." said Zane. The Phantom nodded and he said,"You and JV have something in common young Zero. You're both very kind and open.". Zane sent him back like he did with Wraith but this time, it wasn't because of a fight. Zane made a mental note to go search for Aster and honor a person who didn't deserve to die the way he did.
He then phased through the roof and he walked to his locker. He opened the door and he saw that the mirror was long gone. He pulled out his phone and he called Danny. "Hey man. Where did you take Erin's Mirror?" said Zane. "Well, I picked it up and Erin disappeared from our realm. I then used my Sky Cycle and drove/flew toward your mom's place. Arturo and her are looking at it right now." said Danny.
Zane took a sigh of relief and he said,"That's good to know. I was worried that one of the jocks saw her mirror and broke it while I was fighting Aster.". "Aster? Don't you mean Astrino?" said Danny. "I think that's his Phantom Name. Grandpa told me that some Phantoms change their names once they became Phantoms. He was once a student here at Cypress High way back in the day." said Zane. "So you didn't kick his but all the way to the Spectral Realm?" said Danny.
Zane looked at his left hand and he said,"No. I'm not like the previous Zeros before me buddy. I am half Phantom and Half Sorcerer. I'll try to stop a Phantom before I kick their buts.". "Sound like a plan buddy. Good luck. I told the others about Erin." said Danny. "And why didn't you tell me about this first?" said Zane. "I thought you and Astrino were still fighting so I didn't want to bother you at all man." said Danny. "Okay. I'll see you soon." said Zane.
He hanged up and he took a deep breath. "Alvarez!" yelled a voice. Zane turned around to see Vicky and a group of students who had badges and signs for the robo-pets. "Yeah? I didn't do anything to the freaks of nature." said Zane. "It isn't that dork." said Brad. "Then what? I have to get home right now." said Zane who was getting worried about Erin. "You better show up for it or else." said Vicky who pushed him to the ground.
The group except for Kristen was gone as she said,"You alright?". "Compared to being punched by a griffin, that was being hit by a bird." thought Zane. "I'm good. So what's are they talking about?" said Zane who slowly stood up. "Football try outs. You should try out Zane." said Kristen. She lightly kiss his cheek and she said,"I'll cheer you on Alvarez.". She walked away as Zane touch his cheek. "That was awesome. Lets do it." thought Zane. He was gone and flying home.
