A/N: Yeah. That was an cliffhanger ending wasn't it? I mean Xiaoshi being related to Zane? What were the odds of that being the case? If you've read anything I've ever written before, Xiaoshi somehow being related to Zane may have seen to be planned from the very start and you would be half correct. I say half since instead of being a very distant relative to Zane, Xiaoshi was initially going to be the wife of the eighty second Zero Bryce Luspes and Bryce was going to be a distant relative of Zane instead.
I decided this rather earlier on into the development of the Salaron Empire Arc but around the halfway point, I decided to swap Bryce's roles with Xiaoshi. I just thought it would be interesting. Do note that despite Bryce and Xiaoshi being well a couple, they didn't want to get married or have kids. It was mainly due to the stereotype of Zeroes dying young or by the hands of Form Morpher. There is also the fact of Bryce's cellular tissue is slowly killing him.
They were still a couple but never went beyond being lovers. Did either of them want to be more than just lovers? Who knows but destiny had these two couples go down a certain path. Lets start our Author note with how I decided upon the other four members of the Elite aka the Zeroes who didn't have a name. When I was writing Zero Episode 109, the only Zeroes whose name I revealed are Hyde aka the eighty-eighth Zero, Ryoka aka the first Zero, Vito aka the seventh Zero, and Zane.
I did mention the Zero before Zane aka the one featured in Zero Episode 25 but her name wasn't at all mentioned to what I read through. Vito later got more development later on in Zero Episode 129 but the ninety-nine Zero. Nah. The reason I did this is to show that in the grand scheme of things, she is seen as a failure at least as a Zero. As a hero, I'm sure she did a great job but her being is a Zero is what the rest of the Omniverse judges her as.
This is just similar to how Bryce and Ryoka couldn't get married or have kids due to Bryce being a Zero or the whole cellular degradation. In very early development for this arc, she was considered to be another member of the Elite but couldn't break/open the Omni-Door or have a special ability. In her place, we got Shizuku Kishiro and I like her more than the ninety-ninth. In this episode, we're going to learn a bit more about her as a Zero but not that much.
Lets start with Abe first. From the start, I wanted a USA president to be a Zero and I picked Abraham Lincoln without any hesitation. It's mainly due to him being easily my favorite United State President without a doubt in my mind. I would have gone global but honestly, I'm not too familiar with other countries president or the person with the most amount of power like a prime minister or Queen. That is a me thing and well, I like Abraham Lincoln so good for me.
My love for Abe is mainly due to him get himself through law school despite being born in poverty and living in a log cabin. Do note that I'm not a hundred percent if becoming a lawyer back in the 19th century is easier or harder than becoming a lawyer here in the 21st century. There is also the Gettysburg Address and abolish slavery which are important but I always just liked him. He also has an article on Wikipedia dedicated to his sexuality and yes, I had to bring that to attention.
I'm sure that you didn't need to know this but you're curious now aren't you? He also had a really cool stovepipe hat and in Dexter Laboratory, his hat could fire out a rocket out of it. To me and my child like mind that will never truly grow up, that's just badass. Nothing can change that part of me plain and simple. Another two depictions I love of the sixteenth President is when he was saved by Batman in Batman the Brave and Bold. This one is one of my favorite DC shows.
The reason why I like it so much is that it managed to show off a variety of DC superheroes like Blue Beetle, Firestorm, and Shazam/Captain Marvel. The DCAU, Harley Quinn, and Young Justice are up there but Batman the Brave and Bold will always hold a special place in my heart. Batman saving Abraham Lincoln is similar to the elseworld story Superman: A Nation Divided. The other depiction I love is his clone from Clone High and that show is one of my favorite adult animation show ever.
Clone High is up there alongside Futurama, Harley Quinn, Invincible the show not the comic, the Simpsons, and South Park as some of my favorite works of adult animation. Family Guy is good but only parts of it. Rick and Morty is just okay to me mainly because I tended to judge the show off its fans and this was during Season Three. Never forget the schezwan sauce incident. My opinion on the show hasn't really changed after judging the show by its own merits.
After watching the show, I still think it's okay. Season 4 of Rick and Morty is something I watch but just like with Bojack and Disenchantment, I'm in no rush to watch either show. I have nothing against either of these shows since I've good things about them especially Bojack which I do remember seeing the first season of when it came out. However, I have a lot of Anime and Manga to catch up on first. To me personally, I considered Clone High to be an unrated gem and totally worth checking out.
In fact, you can check out the entire series on Youtube. It does have ads but well, there are multiple ways you can block ads and enjoy Clone High. Clone High is just another creation of the duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller. If you're a fan of the Lego Movie and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, you should watch it. While I don't think Spider-Verse is the best Spider-Man movie due to a very petty and personal reason, Spider-Verse is an amazing movie.
Spider-Verse absolutely deserves all the awards it got. They also help produce The Mitchells vs. The Machines which is a really good movie and very topical now for a multitude of reasons. The point I was trying to get to is that I really respect Abraham Lincoln and along with the other presidents on Mount Rushmore, they deserve it. Did you know that according to Wikipedia, the Flintstones is considered to be an adult animation show?
I guess that joke in the Family Guy and Simpsons Crossover isn't just a random gag. Who knew? I didn't. The other Zeroes Galen Ainsworth and Shizuku Kishiro were created to be complete opposite with each other. To me, Galen's main ability to stay quiet and Shizuku's main ability to manipulate sound are total opposites. Before we talk a bit about Xiaoshi and what she brings to the table, lets talk about the other Alliance members.
Like Arya, all of them have history and experiences with Zane that we didn't see in an episode prior to the previous episode. This idea came to be after I watched the Steven Universe Future episode Little Graduation. We didn't see how Sadie and Shep got together since well, their relationship doesn't at all matter to Steven and what he's going through during the final season. If you've seen the show, you know what I'm talking about.
We really didn't need to spend an episode on the relationship of two side characters when we had to deal with Steven's many issues steaming from the events in the series. As I talk about this, I really do hope I'm using the right pronouns for Shep. This is mainly because I'm used to write pronouns from males and female characters rather than using they/them pronouns from non-binary characters like Shep. You can see my struggle with writing those type of pronouns in the form of Skylar from Fairy Legion Royal.
One thing I really want to do is write more diverse characters as well but well, it's trial and error until I get it right so I do apologize up front. I try not to create stereotypes of any group of people. Just look at Togashi and his attempt at writing trans characters in his stories. The trans character in Yu Yu Hakusho shown isn't the best example of this for me. It's similar to the Okama from One Piece and Bend Her from Futurama.
These three examples are from different points in time but well, they paint a certain image and this image is damaging. I may like the Okama as characters mainly with Mr. 2 and Ivankov but characters like Caroline, Tibany, and the Okamas/Okama that live in Kamabakka Kingdom or on Momoiro Island I really don't. The one in Yu Yu Hakusho and the episode Bend Her is Futurama is something that I can see as bad representation but I can enjoy the show they're a part of.
I'm always trying to judge something by every part of them aka the good or bad. To show a good example of representation, the trans character of Alluka Zoldyuck aka the one shown in Hunter x Hunter is one in my opinion. Life is full of trial and error after all. You need to fail a couple of times at something before getting it right. There is an amazing video on the topic which you should check out here since well, they probably say it much better or different than me.
Fun fact, I was first against this because beside the show's opening and prior to this episode, Shep never really showed up before. We never get an episode where Steven meeting Shep prior and the two have an adventure together like Steven had with Lars, Sadie, and the Cool Kids within the first five seasons of the show. It could involve one of the gems too but nope. We got nothing. Their first appearance showed them dating Sadie a character we did know rather well.
However, I did used to the idea of the audience not seeing how Sadie and Shep got together since the two of them are a better couple compared to say Lars and Sadie despite having only a single episode together. The show even says that is the case from what I saw and heard. However like with a certain event in Persona 5/Persona 5 Royal and an event from Persona 5 Strikers, it took time for me to accept that fact. Less time compared to the two events from Persona but still.
For me, it takes time for me to accept something that initially gets under my skin. I really like how Shep is a non-binary character which is something Steven Universe does best. Being able to show and display off a variety of different sexualities even though a good majority of the cast are rocks which spoiler alert don't have gender since they're rocks. To me, they were able to portray different genders rather well or primarily females. We do have a single male gem aka Steven.
It may not matter now given the push for diversity lately. Back then at least from my perspective, this is something shows didn't do at the time. Just look at Korra from the Legend of Korra since the main character ended up with a female. I wish we see more moments of them being very good friends aka a way to get past the censors but whatever. You're really can't change the past. If there is a good attempt in trying to be diverse without being insulting to a group of people, I'm always going to be for it.
However for me personally, you just need to make sure that these characters are more than just their gender, race, or sexuality. Make them actually people you could see and interact with in real life. If you don't do that at the bare minimum, I'm going to think that they're nothing more than stereotypes. My point overall is that we don't need to see how Zane met these characters because in the grand scheme of things, it isn't that important to the grand story.
I mention before how I don't need to see everything a world has to offer in order to enjoy it in the Author Note for Fairy Legion Royal 6 which should come after this one so minor spoilers for that I guess. At the time of writing this, we're still into Arc 3 of Wano and I really don't see the end for at least a handful plus of chapters. Not going to spoil anything about it but if we finish Act 3 by the end of 2022 at the bare minimum, I'll be shocked.
The anime just got to Oden and well, people seem to like him more than they did in the manga which is impressive given how Oden was such an amazing character. The reason for the increasing like toward Oden mainly due to the anime for One Piece is just amazing. For me, it's just like Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen in terms of its anime looking amazing. I do like Demon Slayer but I got my petty issues with it. I may have talked about this series before but I can say this.
If you've only watched the anime, I wouldn't recommend reading the manga. The manga is fine but to me, the anime makes the series better than it was. If you want to see a video talking about this, check this one out. So with a possible Demon Slayer rant coming up in the future probably not, lets talk about Jujutsu Kaisen. I would recommend the manga since it's really good just like the manga. That series is one of my favorite series to come out during the 2010s.
Late 2010s but still part of it. One of these series I like from the 2010s Chainsaw Man is getting an anime done by the same studio MAPPA as Jujutsu Kaisen and if you want my very short but accurate opinion on Chainsaw Man, Krusty says it best. Don't get me wrong. It's good but man, that series is a trip. Anime fans will enjoy it hopefully if they keep that. Lets eventually finish this Author Note and talk just a little about Xiaoshi.
I won't spoil everything about her since I plan to do it during this episode and the entire Salaron Empire arc but I will say this right now. From what I've seen over the years, I really think we need some badass women mentors in fiction. I mean I can only name a couple of them without looking it up. Some of these women are Biscuit from Hunter x Hunter, Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho, Izumi Curtis from Fullmetal Alchemist, Lisa Lisa from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Toph from Avatar and Korra.
That's only five women and this was off my memory. I would count Nana and Ur from My Hero and Fairy Tail respectively but we only see their training with their respective students in flashbacks mainly with Ur. I think there was some training All Might had with Nana but after looking at the image gallery of the character on the wiki, I couldn't find anything. I could be horribly wrong about that. Ur is the same but we at least got a flashback involving Gray's training with her.
Out of that mini list, Genkai would probably be my favorite. She easily became one of my favorite anime teachers mainly because I really did enjoy Yu Yu Hakushi when I watched it. Genkai is like Jiraya and Roshi ,from Naruto and Dragon Ball respectively, in the fact that she's a badass in her later years. Pretty sure she wasn't a pervert like those two. Maybe she is but not on their level which is a good thing.
Like with Nana training All Might back in the day, I could be wrong. Cologne from Ranma 1/2 is also one but well, I never really watched Ranma. I did over five years ago and don't plan on rewatching any time soon. I also think Genkai is an amazing mentor figure in fiction over all and well, she comes from the much better series made by Togashi in my opinion. Yeah. I just said a pretty hot take and in due time, you'll learn about my full opinion on Hunter x Hunter but not right now.
Keeping you in suspense. Before we begin, lets talk about Jujutsu Kaisen for a bit more. I like all of the female characters except for two. I don't plan on talking about manga spoilers but if I do, sorry in advance. The first one is Momo Nishimiya aka the blond girl riding on the broom and preventing a homerun from Tokyo during the baseball game. This is mainly due to the fact that she didn't really do anything interesting to me in the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc.
She did do just that in the form of her having a crush on Sebastian Stan, preventing the Tokyo Team thanks to Maki from getting a home run, and have the same voice actor as Biscuit in the dub. Despite claiming to be the cutest, she's not cute compared to the other women in the series. I'm fully aware that beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder and shouldn't at all be a critique against a character. It's like saying that an anime series is bad just because you don't like how it looks.
I tend to do that a fair bit mainly with how I can't watch Attack on Titan because I keep thinking that the Titans are naked or early Jojo aka Part 1 through 3. Part 4 Jojo changes the art style just enough for it not be a problem with me anymore but judging an entire series just because there is a giant character looking to wearing no clothing is petty in my opinion. I do plan on giving a fair chance once the anime ends so for now, I will say say that it isn't bad but not for me yet.
My opinion on one of those two series that I just mentioned in the last paragraph has changed greatly in 2021. You'll see what I mean by that in time. Back to me hating Momo. I truly think that she should have been defeated by Nobara Kugisaki but she got off lucky thanks to Mai. I mean in the end it really didn't matter thanks to Hanami but still. Nobara is just a great female in Shounen like Noelle from Black Clover so I wish she had a win before Hanami showed up.
She still could have been taken out by Mai after Nobara defeated Momo but whatever. It's just food for thought. I'm not sure why this is the case but the character of Hanami ,who is male according to the wiki, is voiced by a women in both the dub and sub. Don't get me wrong. I'm used to males being voiced by females since I was a kid. However that's only the case for young males ,before puberty, and more feminine looking guys.
Do not that I don't hate that they did this and I'm sure they did this because of the name. I mean the name Hanami doesn't sound too masculine to me. This is just something that caught my attention during my watch of the anime. This is also the case with Beretta from The Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime which is my favorite Isekai. I tried watching Re: Zero but the first episode didn't catch my idea and the general premise for Konosuba doesn't interest me.
Not saying either of them are bad but just not for me since most Isekais have a similar premise. Back to Beretta. I read on the Wiki that Beretta was a male but like with the main character of Rimuru, I'm just going to say genderless and roll with that. The other bad girl of Jujutsu Kaisen is Mei Mei and you may be wondering why I don't like her. Based off the anime, you would think I wouldn't have a real problem with her.
She has a unique hair cut with her hair covering her face and likes money a lot. This is a very basic description of the character which I gathered from watching the anime. Someone could probably tell me that Mei's appearance in the anime is very deep and describes her character really well but I really don't see it. My problem with her is very petty and personal. It's a minor manga spoiler to a really good arc in the series.
This problem doesn't ruin the entire arc for me since it's near the end of it. It will be eventually animated once Jujutsu Kaisen gets its second season sometime in 2022 or 2023. I'm guessing either of these two years mainly due to the manga being on hiatus at the time of writing this post aka July. I can say this much about it so spoiler alert for a great shonen maybe. In fiction and real life, I'm really not a fan of incest especially between BLOOD related siblings. Yeah. Lets begin shall we.
Narrator P.O.V.
Back in the Salaron Empire or to be more specific in one of the Sunset Nebula's rooms, the majority of Team Maelstrom was in there discussing about what happened today. They were currently in the room that was being used by the trio of Arya, Gwen, and Rachel. Their room had a gold and silver checkered floor design with three beds. There is a table between each one of the beds with a lamp resting on top of it.
On the right side of the balcony door, there are two lounge chairs and a couch right in between the chairs. The room's bathroom have a small window above the toilet, a sink with mirror, a hot spring like bathtub with shower and a bathmat with a lightning bolt pattern. Their room was on the seventh floor with the room that belonged to Danny, Wolfram, and Zane across the hall. Some of the other rooms on the seventh floor were also being used by the other members on Team Maelstrom.
It was decided earlier that they would meet up in Rae's room. The only one member that was missing from their group was their leader Zane. So because of this, Danny ,aka the second in command of their little group, was looking at his friends and decided to say something about the mood. "So I'm going to guess that no one here had any luck avoiding trouble." said Danny. Leo and Wolfram looked away depressed with Efren sighing. "Yeah but this time it wasn't my fault. You got to believe me." said Efren.
Kevin rolled his eyes as he said,"Yeah right. You totally had it coming after pissing off that shapeshifter just because she looked like a little girl.". "I still can't believe you guys managed to come in contact with your competition. Efren and Wolfram went up against Arata and Kyoko. Both of them are the rank just below Commander Fourth Class aka Archduke and Archduchess First Class respectively." said Arya with Leo looking at her. "What about my cousin?" said Leo.
The Commander crossed her arms as she said with her glasses shining,"I think he's the same rank as Arata and Kyoko. He's pretty powerful and some how you two are related. I don't see it unless you have baby horns! I must examine you!". She got up close to him with her trying to find the horns and Leo looked at the others. "Um. Does someone mind helping me with her?" said Leo, trying to push her away but she was being stubborn in her pursuit of the possible baby horns.
Allen chuckled as he said,"I don't think she's going to hurt you mate. So where is our leader? He was with Arya right?". "He was supposedly but he could be out getting revenge for you two." said Sly. "I don't think he would do something like that Sly since he was the one telling us not to cause trouble. He and that monster seem to be friendly from what I remember." said Wolfram while looking out the window and tried to find his master's scent but couldn't.
Lynx shook her head as she said,"So since we know that Arata and Zane are friends, what about his relationship with Kyoko or Percy? They may not be friends.". "I really hope they're not like her." said Rachel with her remembering Beatrix and what she said about Zane. She really hoped that she could get a chance to fight Beatrix during the Armistice Festival. "Well, I don't know about Percy since he didn't even know that he and Leo were related. You two really don't look alike honestly." said Arya.
She crossed her arms as she said,"Zane may say something about your Impulse Signature being on a similar wavelength but honestly, you two are totally different.". "Yeah. He tends to take more of my family's masculine traits while I'll took the feminine traits." said Leo. "I can see that. Kyoko is another story since she and Zane graduated from the same alma mater." said Arya. She gave up her search for the baby horns and went to go rest in Rachel's hair with the devil accepting her there.
Both her and Zane liked how soft her hair were which makes no sense to her but she just accepted it as part of their quirks. "So she was a former student of Arcadia U?" said Gwen. "Bingo! She's supposed to be pretty strong but well, I'm sure you guys could defeat her with the right amount of knowledge and prep time except for maybe Efren as we learn today." said Arya. "Wait a second. I could totally defeat her! She just got lucky!" said Efren.
Heidi looked at Efren with her saying,"I highly doubt that since well, you got your teeth knocked out by a little girl.". "Did that really happen? I would ask Efren but he would just deny it." said Jordan with her looking at Kevin. "Of course he would. It's Efren. It did and I got proof. As Zane would say, it's perfect blackmail material." said Kevin, holding up his phone. Before he could show the video, he looked toward the room's door and heard it slowly open. "Hold on. Zane is here." said Kevin.
With that, everyone slowly turning toward the door and heard Zane's voice,"Hey you guys. Sorry I'm late for our meetup but well, I came in contact with some interesting beings. Luck for you guys, they're not competing in the Armistice Festival. They would easily win the whole thing.". Zane stood in the doorway with him having a noticeable black eye over his left eye. This caused concern from his fiancée and she rushed over to him with Arya losing the fluff but she didn't mind too much.
Arya looked at Zane with her saying,"So what's up with the black eye Zane? Did you run into a door knob or something like that? Did Rae hit you for being stupid?". "Nope to none of those reasons. I'm not clumsy and Rae wouldn't hit me like this maybe. I got this nasty shiner from one of those beings I met earlier. She's a clear example of don't judge a book by its cover and man she's a real beast." said Zane as Rachel looked over him. "So what happened?." said Efren. "Let me tell you." said Zane.
Flashback P.O.V.
In his almost twenty three years of being alive, Zane was used to fighting. Going up against two opponents at the same time is something that he was used to as well. The room that he was in wasn't exactly the most open but well, he could make it work. "You better be worth my time Zero because I expect a ton from someone who is destined to kill that bastard skull!" said Delphi with her vanishing from view. Zane didn't move with him closing his eyes.
Crisis Judgement went off as Zane looked up to see the fox appearing above him with her cocking back her fists. Around her fists, radiant red ,with blue streaks, flames appeared. "Take this!" shouted Delphi as she slammed her fists into Zane's knives, causing an explosion of fire to cover the two of them. The ground below Zane was broken as Delphi smiled. "No bad! Totally thought you would have dodged my attack but nope. You're not a chicken. I like that a whole lot!" said Delphi.
At the tip of her tails, fire was gathering around them and she smiled. The area around the two was getting hotter by the second with Zane sweating just a bit. "It seems that she wants to test if Zane can take the heat or pressure of training with us or the mistress. I think the last time she did this, she managed to cause heat syncope. It works great for testing but she always goes overboard with it. That's normal for her." thought Rairaka with her sweating a bit and used her hand to fan herself.
Zane looked at her as he said,"And you really need to cool down by the way. You don't want to burn the shrine down right?". "Nah. This place can handle it. Can you?" said Delphi. "I can since I've been burned alive several times. The better question is if you can handle the cold? Arctic Shift." said Zane as his skin turning light blue and began slowly covering Delphi in ice except for her tails. In response to this, Delphi increased the heat and this melted the ice covering her.
After seeing this, Zane smiled. "Perfect." thought Zane as he made one of Astaroth's arm emerge from his back. He sent it toward her with it connecting with her face. This sent her flying back as she landed on the ground. "Delphi. Got to say I'm feeling bad for you." said Rairaka with her covering her mouth using her hand to mock her. "Shut up! I'm just getting started and he got lucky is all!" said Delphi. From the tips of each of her four tails, a ball appear and she sent them flying toward Zane.
With no trouble at all, Zane dodged two of them and froze the other two. "Look at him go. He's making you look like nothing more than a novice. Do you want me to step and handle him? I'm sure that I can give him a challenge compared to you." said Rairaka. "No! He's mine!" said Delphi as she sprouted two extra tails, having six overall. From her tails, a truckload of stars emerge from them and she sent them flying right toward Zane with him begin to dodge them.
Due to the amount of them and seemingly having a mind of their own, a couple of them came in contact with him. They managed to cut through his ice armor and burn him. It didn't last for long given Zane's healing factor but the fact that it did that meant that she wasn't a joke like Rairaka claimed she was to be. "Arctic Sever!" said Zane as his knives were covered in frost and the Cross Species released a blizzard from his body. This froze all of the stars around him with Zane throwing the knives to the side.
Without any warning, Delphi appeared in front of him with her saying,"Lets go! Solar Combat!". After engulfing all of her appendages in fire, she began attacking Zane mainly with her arms and tails. Her tails were working as whip and a surprise attack among the barrage of physical blows. Due to her speed and the amount she was hitting with, Zane was forced on the defensive. He was mainly focused on either blocking her attacks or dodging them.
Dodging them was something he couldn't do due to her attacks having a fiery aftereffect. After watching Zane blocking another one of her punches, Delphi jumped into the air and the flames around her right leg grew stronger than before. She slammed her leg into Zane's right arm with him smiling. He grabbed her fiery leg ,covering her entire leg in ice, with him tossing her back. "Arctic Zenith Sphere!" said Zane as a normal Zenith Sphere ,made out of black Mojo, appeared in his hand.
The sphere was covered in ice with him slamming it into her, creating an explosion of frost that flash freeze everything in the area except for Zane. Most of Delphi's body were covered in ice and was shivering. She managed to see Zane deactivate his icy appearance and focused black Mojo into his eyes which begin to glow. "Karmic Glare!" said Zane, firing a small but powerful Karmic Limbo from his eyes. The beam connected with Rairaka watching Delphi fly outside, hitting a tree in the process.
Outside, Delphi focused her fire to melt the ice covering her body and it eventually melted. She looked up to see Zane ,who didn't noticing that Rairaka was no longer standing in the doorway, charging right toward her and his left fist was covered in steel gray cosmic energy. "Galactic Punch!" said Zane with him focused on Delphi. She cocked back her right fist with her engulfing her hand in fire and clashed fists with Zane. The impact of the hit created a noticeable dust cloud around them.
Back at the shrine, Rairaka reappeared in the doorway and whistled. "It seems that Delphi is getting excited. Haven't seen her like this in a good couple years. So what are you going to do Hayate? I'm sure she'll destroy the shine again if she gets too hot and bothered." said Rairaka. To her right, Hayato was standing there with him looking a bit different. Physically, he looked to be the same as before but all of his brown hair was completely shaved off and has some wrinkles around his face.
Despite being a chrome dome, he has a Fu Manchu styled mustache and had a serious expression on his face. He also has rather hairy arms. His clothing was also different compared to before. He's wearing a pair a dark blue sleeveless tunic, exposing his hairy muscular arms and brown pants. For footwear, he wears brown boots. He has a white cape hanging off his shoulders and brown gloves over his hands. "I think you would know by now that I'm not my brother Hayato Rairaka." said Hayate.
Rairaka smiled as she said,"I know that but well, I just wanted to make sure.". "Since you're so curious about it, Mistress Xiaoshi told me and my brother that Zane is more than capable at handing himself in a fight even against Delphi when she's fired up as you put it. He also has the unique and rare power of clean up after himself so why aren't you joining it?" said Hayate as a tree went flew into the air. It was completely destroyed thanks to a barrage of fiery hits.
The wolf placed her hand against her mouth as she said,"Seriously? Do you really think I would go out of my way to interrupt her one on one with him? She would kill me.". "Yeah but has that ever stopped you before?" said Hayate. "Nope. Wish me luck." said Rairaka as she vanished. "Yeah. You'll need it since she hates whenever someone mainly you steals her fight." thought Hayate. With Zane, he was on the offensive but couldn't do anything thanks to the barrier of fluff in front of him.
The barrier consisted of four of Delphi's tails ,which had hardened to a metal like substance, covering her from all directions and the other two tails were used as whips. The two whip tails were currently on fire. It made a pretty good defense and offense in his opinion. He did land six punches, three kicks, and a single tail swipe before jumping back to avoid the tail whip. "Come on Zero! You managed to break down the Omni-Door so this shouldn't be a problem for you!" said Delphi.
Without warning, Zane heard,"I'm sure he would but you managed to barricaded yourself within your tails. He doesn't want to break apart your precious tails am I right?". He looked around and tried to find the wolf woman since he heard her voice. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane jumped back with several spikes emerging from the shadows of Delphi's whip like tails. They went toward Zane as he sprouted his second set of arms appear.
Zane smirked as he said with his arms covered in Vulcan Emperor,"Time for an attack that's a total tongue twister! Midnight Multi-Armed Mastodon Mortar!". From her barrier, Delphi watched as the arms stretched toward the spikes and punched them head on. With each hit, the spike was shattered apart by a cannon of pressurized air. After all of them were destroyed alongside the area around all of them, the arms went toward the tail barrier and forced her to undo it.
It mainly due to the amount of power Zane's hits had and they could easily break one of her tails. Delphi watched Rairaka emerge from her shadow and the fox had a pout on her face. "Hey there Rairaka." said Delphi. "Yes Delphi dear? Is there something the matter?" said Rairaka with a smile. "What is your problem huh?! I told you and the others that I was going to test him when the mistress told us about him! You had no right interfering with my fight!" said Delphi.
To make sure Rairaka got a hint, she aimed two of her fire covered tails at the woman. "Oh. I don't recall you ever mention that. You said that you wanted to fight him first but the mistress didn't say that we couldn't join in if we saw you losing. I'm just worried about my friend." said Rairaka. She slammed her right boot onto the ground and Crisis Judgment went off. Zane jumped back to avoid a beam of moonlight that emerged from his shadow.
He didn't have a chance to relax due to all of the shadows around him firing a beam of moonlight at him. "Void Absorption!" said Zane with him sprouted multiple arms from his body. Each hand managed to absorb one of the beams that were heading toward him. "Time for some sweet revenge. Karmic Fortune!" said Zane as several pillars of Mojo appeared above him. He sent them toward the woman with the two dodging them easily. "Huh. Is she dodging my attack by dancing? Neat." thought Zane.
The wolf woman was moving between the pillars easily and she was smiling. "Oh wow. His strength rivals Bryce doesn't it? I can see why you enjoy him fight him so much." said Rairaka. "Yeah he really does. Time for the second phase. If you're going to but into my fight, you better not hold back." said Delphi. "I don't hold back unlike you." said Rairaka, forming a wolf like tail emerging from her body and it matched her hair color.
After that, the two of them charged toward Zane who made his Legionnaire Gauntlets appear and his second set of arms go into his body. "Okay. So what are the two of you going to do now? Delphi can manipulate fire and Rairaka can manipulate both the moon's light and shadows. It's a very interesting combination from her but I'm sure that Delphi is more competent than most pyrokinetics I've fought against." thought Zane, looking around.
Crisis Judgement went off as Matrix said,"Focus Zane! I know that you're an Eazairvian who loves to ramble about superpowers but these two are working together to defeat you!". "She does have a point there." said Astaroth. Within a second, he managed to block Delphi's right foot using his left gauntlet and Rairaka's tail using his right gauntlet. Before Zane could do anything, the two women said in complete unison,"Invictus Fracturae!".
Like before, Crisis Judgement went off as Zane looked up to see that Delphi's foot and Rairaka's tail were beginning to crackle with electricity. Two explosion of black ,with a crimson red outline, lightning emerged from this outcome and pushed Zane back with him making a divot in the ground right below him. Even though he's immune to electricity thanks to his candy syrup, this electricity managed to stun him for a few seconds.
Zane shook his head as he thought,"Okay then. Delphi's attack just now was at the bare minimum five times stronger than her hits prior to the lightning emerging from her body. Not too sure about Rairaka though. Unlike Delphi, I haven't seen Rairaka fight before but she did manage to reappear from thin air which is cool." thought Zane, shaking his head just a bit. Havoc looked at the two women with the lightning around both of them disappearing. "How come you're so sure about that Zane?" said Havoc.
Astaroth looked at Zane as he said,"He has always been good at guessing his opponent's strength whenever he fits. I guess she was still holding back on you Zane.". From the shrine, Hayate saw the explosions of lightning with him whistling. "Look at that. Both of them used Invictus Fracturae on a Zero. Haven't seen that in a while huh brother?" said Hayate. He turned to see his brother Hayato standing there.
When the two of them are standing next to each other, it was made even more obvious that the two of them are related. "I guess Zane is more interesting that I thought after I examined his friends and the rest of them competing in the Armistice Festival." said Hayato. "Yeah. All of them are less interesting to me compared to the outlier of the bunch." said Hayate. Zane looked at Delphi who smiled. "Hey there Zero. Do you happen to recognize that lightning we're using against you?" said Delphi.
Rairaka looked at Delphi and then Zane. "If you don't, we completely understand. I didn't expect to use it on you. Delphi on the other hand. I totally expected her to use it given that I'm stronger than her." said Rairaka with her dodging three of Delphi's tails. "Yeah. I use it in my Dragon Yell attack. Didn't you expect two to have access to it as well. Is it a form of Impulse or what because honestly, I have no idea you two." said Zane.
Delphi looked at Rairaka who shrugged. "I thought he would be more aware of it since he reminds me of the mistress and used it before. You're both correct and wrong. Care to show him more of an example so he can eventually figure it out?" said Rairaka. "Sure. Lets go Zero!" said Delphi with her taking a deep breath and one more tail appeared. Her body was soon covered in the lightning she used earlier and it was tearing right through the space around the fox.
She charged toward Zane with her cocking back her left hand. "Invictus Fracturae!" said Delphi with her punching the air in front of him. All around Zane, an explosion of lightning covered him and it shattered the ground below Zane. It sent him flying away and crashed into a tree with him shaking off the stun from it. "Okay. Giant Toss!" said Zane as his right arm growing bigger and it became the size of a giant approximately give or take several couple feet.
After making his arm bigger than normal, he began grabbing everything in the area around him and toss it toward Delphi. Before it could make contact, the lightning around her caused it to shatter instead of making a cloud of smoke like Zane wanted. "So what was your plan there Zero? This lightning isn't normal if you haven't noticed." said Delphi. "A distraction for the boss's true motive. Hellfire Emperor Substitution mixed in with a hint of Zenith Duplication." said Zane with a smirk.
Her eyes widened as he exploded and covered the entire area in Zane's signature fire. The flames soon formed the words "Try Again You Failed!". Instead of being mad like most beings usually get with this combination, Delphi smiled. "Oh wow. You managed to replace yourself with a copy that quickly but when did you do that? Didn't sense you doing that in the slightest. And where are you going to strike from?" said Delphi with her looking for Zane.
She looked around the fire covered area as she thought,"I should have sensed him by now given a Zero's natural talent for having a large amount of Impulse especially this one. It's like he is using her Starlight Maneuver. A major pain in the ass even if you're expecting it.". Using her heightened animal senses, she picked up something. On the ground, marbles appeared and they exploded instantly. It covered Delphi in firefighting foam and was unable to produce her flames. "I just need to activate...." thought Delphi.
Her thoughts were interrupted thanks to her getting hitting in the face directing by an extremely dense and pressure-activated black and steel gray hammer aka both of Zane's arms. The impact of Zane's hit sent Delphi flying through several trees. "Okay. With her out of the way, where did her friend go? She is still around here right or did she get bored?" said Zane. Before he could begin trying to sense her location like Delphi earlier, he heard,"You may have been able to trick Delphi but I'm another story.".
Zane slowly turned around and tried to block Rairaka's strike using his hammer but it failed. Her fist was directly implanted into his face. "Since you did this to your enemies, I think it's time for you to take a flight yourself Zero. Invictus Fracturae!" said Rairaka. The lightning from earlier appeared around her arm with Zane ,now having a black eye over his left one, getting sent flying away and a free Delphi appeared behind him.
Instead of seven tails, she now had eight tails with her using all of them to grab onto Zane's arms, legs, midsection, neck. and limbs. "Do it now Rairaka!" said Delphi. Zane tried to break out of the tails but they were stronger than he expected. "You got it Delphi. Eclipse Strike enhanced with the power of Invictus Fracturae." said Rairaka with her punching Zane in the stomach. He was either getting hit with moonlight or shadow enhanced punches.
With each hit of hers connecting, an explosion of lightning went off with Zane in the center of those explosions. "Damn. This really hurts. What the hell is up with this lightning?" thought Zane. To free himself from Delphi's tails, Zane made a long glowing crimson red rapier-like blade extend from both of his wrists. He sliced at all eight tails with him causing Delphi to release him and Zane escaped from them. This did stop Rairaka's attack.
Rairaka stood herself as she looked over at Zane who coughed out some candy syrup and wiped it away from his mouth. "Okay. It's starting to come back. That lightning appeared when I fought Malik and Xiadur six years ago. It may have appeared during my fight with Basalt the other day too from what I heard. I know that Malik was a Qlakrik but Basalt is another story. I didn't sense Carnal from him but well, I'll figure it out later." thought Zane.
Crisis Judgement went off as Rairaka appeared in front of him. She raised her leg up with Zane turning away just in case of an accidental panty shot. Even with that in mind, Zane managed to roll away from her attack that destroyed the ground below him. "Oh my. You're a gentleman aren't you? I should info you that I'm wearing shorts under my dress. Eclipse Burst." said Rairaka with her smiling. She threw her hands outwards, sending out a torrent of moonlight ,in the shape of a beam, and shadows at Zane.
Zane jumped back to avoid her attack which created miniature craters in the ground upon hitting the ground. "Okay. She's easily much stronger compared to what I sensed from earlier." thought Zane as he turned toward Delphi. All of her tails had a giant fireball at the end of them were aimed at Zane and launched toward him. "Archon Zero Master!" said Zane with him transforming and charged toward Delphi.
If one of the fireballs managed to get close to him, he smacked it away without touching it thanks to the spheres floating around him smacking into them. "Archon Zero Annihilation!" said Zane as six of the nine spheres went flying toward Delphi and the other three went toward Rairaka. The two women dodged them with the area around the missed spheres getting completely erased. While she dodged Zane's attacks, Rairaka noticed that Delphi now had all of nine of her tails out.
She was also shaking not from excitement but pain. Even though she was well aware of what Impulse could do, she was still a novice compared to her mistress or even her fellow guardians in the Quaternion Totem. Rairaka was considered to be the best within the group at using Impulse but using Invictus Fracturae was something that she was the worst at all. It was just a guess but from what she could tell about Zane, Zane's strikes had an unplanned after effect on the two of them.
Rairaka would have to confirm her suspensions with the mistress later. She looked at Zane who was trying to hit her but she was dodging them. "While she may claim that she wants Zane to give her more of a challenge, it seems he is finally giving the Firecracker a worthy challenge. She's been waiting a while for that. Zane is full of untapped potential. I wonder if that is his special ability but the mistress will figure it out." thought Rairaka. "Okay! Zero! Lets see how you deal with this!" said Delphi.
She glowed brightly with her turning into a large ,about the size of a skyscraper, nine-tailed fox and her tails moved around. From her tails, several stars ,ranging from the size of a car to a truck, appear and flew toward Zane. He easily dodged most of them or doused them using a stream of water. "Yep. It's official. She went overboard." thought Rairaka as she watched the area getting covered in fire. "You're a great Zero! So much better than the Washouts!" said Delphi.
Zane looked at her with him saying,"Thanks. And what do you mean by the washouts?". "You're find out if you survive! Invictus Fracturae!" said Delphi with her tails getting ready to slam into him. With each hit against the ground, there was an explosion of that all too familiar lightning. Zane was dodging them with Delphi knowing that there was only one option left. She began charging fire into her mouth and aimed herself right at Zane who made the nine sphere float around him.
Before she could do anything, she heard,"That's enough Delphi and Rairaka. I'm sure that Zane has proved himself to the two of you or do I have teach you both a lesson in knowing the difference.". Both Delphi and Rairaka stiffened with them slowly looking toward see Xiaoshi standing there. She had a frown on her face and her arms were folded behind his back. "Huh. An old lady. So when did she get here? I didn't sense or hear her appear. Just like Rairaka. She's their mistress probably." thought Zane.
As if to prove his point, Rairaka bowed to her. "Yes mistress. She's right. He was able to survive getting hit by an Invictus Fracturae. No Washout could do something like that." said Rairaka. "So I'm talking a shot in the dark here and say that the lightning you two were doing earlier is Invictus Fracturae. You're also their mistress that they mentioned earlier and I'm going to guess that we've been fighting on your property." said Zane.
Rairaka nodded as Xiaoshi said,"You're correct. I'll go into more detail about it later but good on you for figuring it out. You definitely got your family's intelligence even though it's so very rare in males past the teenager years.". "Huh? What are you talking about?" said Zane. "She'll explain later but I'm quite confused how you don't know that about your family." said Rairaka. "Whatever. So what's the verdict? I passed right?" said Zane. "You did. At least you figured that out." said Xiaoshi.
The duo of Hayate and Hayato appeared at Rairaka's side as Hayato said,"So how and when did he figure that out? I thought you two were making him stupider.". "He isn't those two brother mainly him between the two of them." said Hayate. "It's simple. I used my hyper hearing and well, I had a feeling that this was a test. The way you two were talking lead me to assume that." said Zane. "Indeed. Your might is indeed worthy and totally something that an Washout could never accomplish." said Rairaka.
She smiled as she said,"You're indeed worthy of the name Zero young man. It seems that we found the next being to be trained under you Mistress.". "Mistress?" said Zane. "Not many beings can't keep up with either Delphi or Rairaka in a fight. The two of them fighting together is something that most beings can't even do. Take great pride in that." said Hayate. "Sure. I'm looking to training with you." said Zane with him deactivating Archon Zero Master. "Delphi. You haven't turned back yet." said Hayato.
The group turned to the fox with her nervously smiling. "Um. We have a little problem." said Delphi as there was a large ball of fire appearing in front of her mouth. It has streams of Invictus Fracturae coming off it. "Holy crap! What are you doing?! Using Solar Helix on a examinee!" said Hayate. "Just get rid of it already!" said Hayato. "I wish I could but thanks to the power boost I get from Invictus Fracturae and me having all nine tails out, I can't." said Delphi with her nervously laughing.
Rairaka nervously smiled as she and the twins slowly backed away from the giant ball. "Um. What's going on here? Is this still part of the test?" said Zane. "Of course it isn't kid. What kind of test would have the examinee face off against a homage of the sun? My guardian is just being an idiot. Just fire it upwards like the last time you did this." said Xiaoshi. "This has happened before? I really wonder why this keeps happening. She may just go overboard." thought Zane. "You got it mistress!" said Delphi.
She grabbed onto it with her mouth and had her tails holding onto it. She tried to lift up but it wouldn't budge whatsoever. "Hurry before you destroy the entire dimension again!" said Rairaka who was hiding behind the twins. "Oh wow. She's just like most pyrokinetics." thought Zane. "I'm trying too but I can't! Maybe you three should help me out instead of hiding like cowards!" said Delphi, glaring at the trio. "No. We're go but thank you for thinking of us." said the trio.
Hayato smirked as he said,"Jinx! You two owe me a soda!". The duo of Hayate and Rairaka punched him with Zane saying,"Okay. I may have no idea what's going on but I know what to do in order to solve it. Hey Delphi! Fire your Solar Helix at me.". "What?! Are you insane?! I...." said Delphi. "Of course I am. Just trust me." said Zane with a smile. "It seems your desire to help others is something that's apparent in all of you including him." thought Xiaoshi.
Seeing that Zane was serious, Delphi said,"You got it! Don't your dare die on me! You're easily becoming one of my favorite Zeroes and I would hate to lose you. Solar Helix!". He launched the ball toward Zane with Xiaoshi preparing to step in just in case Zane couldn't. The ball soon turned into an extremely concentrated burst of fire. It came in the form of a helix/double helix shaped spiraling kitsune. It went straight toward Zane with him noticing that it was slowly getting bigger.
Zane cupped his chin as he muttered out,"Fascinating. It's absorbing the Impulse in the air around it. I wonder if I can do something like that with a Zenith Sphere or maybe a possible attack.". "Hey kid! You need to focus! It's in front of you!" shouted the twins in unison. Zane looked up to see the fiery fox just a few centimeters ,possible a single inch, in front of him. "Oh I know. I wait this long to take care of it because I love to show off. It's genetic after all. Predatory Consumption!" said Zane.
Within seconds, his arms were covered in obsidian black energy. Zane aimed his hands at the kitsune and unleashed an obsidian black energy tornado. It completely swallowed up the kitsune with not a single ember escaping it. Delphi was shocked to see this going on due to her being well aware of how her attack absorbs any Impulse that it comes in contact with. "Oh wow. It seems that this Zero is quite greedy and wrathful. Just like him and hopefully, he won't go down the same road." thought Xiaoshi.
After five slow agonizing seconds, the obsidian black energy dispersed and the firefox was gone. Delphi looked at Zane who smiled. "Oh wow Delphi. That was a really strong attack and makes magma dome's flames look like nothing. I'm fully charged so thanks for the meal!" said Zane with him burping out a few embers and bowing to her. Do not that it wasn't Zane's fire but Delphi's attack coming out. "My bad." said Zane with a nervous chuckle.
The kitsune nervously chuckled as she fell onto the ground and looked to be a normal human without any fox traits. "No problem kid. I'm happy really. I didn't kill you so hurrah. I'll welcome you later to the pack but now, I need to rest." said Delphi, closing her eyes. "Is she going to be okay?" said Zane as he watched the two brothers pick her up and vanish. "Zane. That attack of her is quite powerful and I presume that your fight with her managed to tucker out our little firecracker." said Xiaoshi.
Zane looked directly at Rairaka with her saying,"What? Is there something on my face? Did Delphi do something to me before passing out? She has done that to me before. That damn fox.". "No. I'm pretty sure that she couldn't even if she wanted. She was pretty much running on nothing after her attack. I was wondering how you can see me. You're blind right? Hope I'm not offending you by asking this." said Zane. "Yes I am. May I ask how you noticed that?" said Rairaka.
The Cross Species nodded as he pointed to his eyes. "In the short time I've met you, your eyes have always been closed." said Zane. "Ah. That make sense." said Rairaka. "Do you mind telling me how you can see me because I have a theory?" said Zane. "Go ahead. I don't mind." said Rairaka. "She's going to regret saying that isn't she?" said Havoc. "Yeah. Even among the Eazairvians, Zane's rambling is unmatched. Not even daddy can compete with Zane when he rambles." said Matrix.
Zane made a Primordial Zenith Sphere with him saying,"I'm going to guess that you use the Impulse around you to get a guess where a being is like how a bat uses echolocation. Instead of using sound waves or echoes, you use Impulse instead. To tell beings like those twins earlier apart, you use their Impulse Signature. I'm sure that it's like a seismic sense except instead of focusing the vibrations in the ground, you use Impulse to guide you. That's so cool since I've been wondering how I...".
The two looked at Zane who rambling with Rairaka turning to Xiaoshi who shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. "What? You and I are both aware of the Eazairvian's tendency to ramble. You had this coming." said Xiaoshi. "That may true but no Eazairvian I've ever met before went this long on a rant before. Do you perhaps know how to stop him mistress?" said Rairaka. "Normally, a kiss would do the job but I'm sure you don't want to piss her off right?" said Xiaoshi.
Rairaka looked at her mistress with her saying,"Yes. She is slowly awakening to that power given to her by the Viarath. Gods forbid whoever pisses her once she fully awakens.". "Indeed. A fitting partner for the strongest Zero." said Xiaoshi. She grabbed a nearby rock and sent it flying toward Zane who catch it before it made contact with him. "Nice catch." said Xiaoshi with Zane looking at her. "I was rambling again wasn't I?" said Zane with him looking at her.
She nodded as Zane sighed. "Seriously? I've been trying to fix that awful habit of mine but nope. It's still going strong and will get worse over time." said Zane. "You were Zane but it's fine. You'll get a chance to learn more about Delphi, Rairaka, and the twins later. For now, follow me. We need to have a chat. It would be student to teacher but your case is different." said Xiaoshi. "And why is that?" said Zane. "Because we're family obviously." said Xiaoshi. "Huh. We're related. Neat." said Zane.
A bit later, Zane was sitting in the temple's drawing room. The drawing room's floor were made out of wood, the middle of the room consisted of tatami mats, and the way to exit or enter the room is thanks to the Shoji. Zane was looking at his apparent relative who was in the middle of the room and was reprimanding Delphi's reckless actions earlier thanks to a camel cutch. This punishment amused Rairaka. "So are you still doubting that the two of you are family?" said Matrix.
Havoc looked at the older woman with him saying,"I can see how you two are family compared to say Leo and Percy.". "Yeah. She may look like a normal woman but don't mess with her or she'll break you in two. I'm sure Zane here is wondering how he didn't know about her being a member of his family and the apparent decrease intelligence in most men of the Alvarez family blood related or not. Makes too sense given your paternal grandfather." said Astaroth.
Zane nodded as he said,"It's actually what Astaroth said since well, I'm well familiar with our family but this woman is a part of it. So dig up anything about her?". "A little. Xiaoshi is well known for being the Omniverse's #1 master of Impulse and one of the best martial artists too. She's also been around since the end of the Omniverse/Omniversal War. She has trained multiple beings and all of them have made an impact in the Omniverse in some shape or form." said Matrix.
Astaroth looked over at Xiaoshi who had released Delphi and made her way to Zane. "To name just a couple of her students, she trained Arata, Lucius, Kenta, and Kurt. An interesting thing to note that she will only train a being if she sees that they have a sense of honor, morale, or great potential. You fit that requirement perfectly." said Matrix. "So is she secretly hiding her power like Zane tries so hard to?" said Havoc. "Hey. I'm getting better." said Zane. "No. You're really not." said Havoc.
Zane sulked as Astaroth said,"Yeah. She may look like a normal old woman but well, I can tell that she would kick your ass in a heartbeat. Don't piss her off Zane if you want to live till your wedding.". "Yeah. I wasn't planning on it since it's well known that all Alvarez women are scary and not to be pissed off. I learned that after the whole Massacre thing. Never forgot that lesson." said Zane as Xiaoshi sat in front of Zane.
There was a charcoal colored table placed between them. It had a bowl of freshly picked fruit ,according to Hayato, and two cups of steaming hot tea. "Sorry about the wait Zane. I just had to make sure my guardian didn't do that idiotic stunt ever again." said Xiaoshi, blowing on the tea and taking a sip. "Even though she probably will mistress." muttered Rairaka with Delphi glaring at her. "It's fine. So how come I didn't know about you....." said Zane.
He was still trying to figure out if she was married into the family like his mom or born into it like his dad. He was also ignore his tea in the process. "Your confusion make sense. I was born into the family and according to the family tree, I would be your 25th-great aunt. The reason you didn't know about me was due to your idiot grandpa forgetting about me. It seems I'll have to punish him next time I see him aka your wedding but that won't be for a while." said Xiaoshi.
She looked at Zane with her saying,"Right now Zane, my focus is on you and your growth.". "Okay. I'll accept that for an answer." said Zane. "I bet Darin is going to be hiding from the mistress once that happens." whispered Rairaka. Hearing her fellow canine's comment, Delphi nodded. "So what do you mean by that? Rairaka nodded as she said,"Even compared to Ryoka and Vito, Bryce is easily the strongest Zero that the mistress has ever trained.". "I think the weakest one was Galen but that's just because he's so damn forgettable even though he was an Elite." said Delphi. "So where do I stack up compared to the six you trained? There is nothing inherently wrong with the latter's mindset but the former's. That's a serious problem. Xiaoshi looked at her embarrassed guardians since she was sure that was their first kiss and this caused her to start laughing. "Thank you Zane. As if to prove Zane right, Delphi had seven of her tails ,which were on fire, aimed at him and Rairaka had her hands under his chin. Instead of her nails, sharp claws was there. He is in the shape of a rain droplet/oval. He has a pair of wide cartoon like eyes, round storm gray eyes with a goofy looking toothless smile. As a slime, he looks to be about nine inches tall and looks to be really cute. Zane jumped onto the table with Xiaoshi raising her right eyebrow and wondered what he was going to do. "So? Just because you're cute doesn't mean you're going to get punished for making me kiss Rairaka." said Delphi.
Rairaka nodded as she said,"She's right but it may be hard to damage him given a slime's natural ability to survive most forms of punishment.". "Oh. I'm not scared of the two of you because well, you'll be unable to resist my charms." said Zane with his smile growing bigger and his voice sounding more childish compared to before. "And how will you do that?" thought Xiaoshi. "Please don't hurt me. I'm sowwie. I'm a good slime." said Zane with him sounding like a child who is very close to crying.
It sounded like someone had just kicked his pet. The two women flinched with Zane making his lower lip quiver and cheeks scrunched up. His eyes and face sparkled like a diamond. It comes in the form of making his eyes bigger and sparkle with a few tears coming out of the corner of his eyes. "Oh. I see it now. You're using that technique. I wonder how it's affecting Rairaka since she can't see. Maybe his slime cuteness transcends even blindness." thought Xiaoshi.
Delphi blushed as she groaned. "Ugh. I really hate that I'm going to say this but you're forgiven." said Delphi. With a blush on her face, Rairaka looked away. "Indeed. Just don't do it again or we will hurt you." said Rairaka. "I doubt that." thought Xiaoshi. "Okay! You got it!" said Zane with him sprouting an arm ,looking to be part of his slime body rather than his human body, out of his back and saluted the two of them. "So Cute!" thought Delphi and Rairaka.
With a chuckle, Xiaoshi looked at her two guardians and she nodded. "With that out of the way, do you two mind leaving us alone?" said Xiaoshi. "What?" said Delphi. "You heard the mistress Delphi but I have to agree with her on being confused. In the past, you have never been alone with a student." said Rairaka. "What about..." said Delphi with her stopping herself. "Huh. What's going on?" thought Zane as he looked between the two guardians and his family member.
Xiaoshi smiled as she grabbed Zane with her placing him on her lap. "I just want to spend time with my nephew who I haven't met in the past twenty two years because of Darin being a moron. Is that wrong Delphi?" said Xiaoshi. "No but...." said Delphi. "They just want to be with the cuteness master. Me calling you mistress doesn't really sound right in me." said Zane with his voice back to normal. With a smile, Xiaoshi karate chopping Zane on the head. It didn't hurt but make his entire body vibrate.
Zane looked at her as she said,"Listen Zane. Do not call me master. I may agree with you on the whole mistress thing since I don't want to have that kind of student and teacher mentorship. You're family so come up with a better name. I rather have you call me old hag or bitch than master. Hell I take Auntie from you. She looked at Zane with her saying,"Don't be too warm or else Zane, I'll make you eat Hayate's cooking as well.". "Um sure but can't I just make a clone do this? I haven't been a slime for too long but well, it's weird you want to do with me of all beings." said Zane. "If you're thinking that I'm interested in you in that manner, you're a moron. We may be pretty far apart on the family tree but we're still family. And have you come up with a name for me yet?" said Xiaoshi.
Zane shook his head as he said,"No. It isn't that but well, I promised Arya that she could be the first one to use me as a beaning bag chair when she figured out I could do this.". "Oh I see. "Darin is a good guy but his flaws tend to be the main thing that's known about him. So will a clone work instead?" said Zane. With a nod, a copy of his slime appearance appear next to him but its coloration looked more like Slime Form's. "I'm pretty sure if she knew about you being my many great aunt, I don't think she'll mind too much. Rae just might but just in case. I'll need to bring out the cuteness charm that I used on the Quaternion Totem times two. That's your guardians' group name right?" said Zane with him watching Xiaoshi grabbed onto the clone.
Xiaoshi nodded as the clone expanded in size, making itself bigger and the elderly woman used it as a pillow. "This is nice Zane. Before you leave, do leave behind a copy of yourself. I'm sure you can do that. At my age, having a nice comfy pillow like this is required. Oh. I do hope it's true what they saw about Feroxian and their stomachs. They often tell me that I'm easily stronger than the Washouts and some of the Elites but I don't know. Beings often tell me that I'm strong but to be honest with you, I don't know if I would considered myself to be strong.". "You're far more humble compared to the Washouts except for Zero 99." said Xiaoshi.

I know that Ryoka and Vito are related but I always just assumed that Ryoka had siblings rather than her actually dating someone. I don't care if she was into boys or girls since love doesn't discriminate." said Zane. "It may sound strange but I'm telling you the truth." said Xiaoshi. The Cross Species looked at her as he said,"Um sure. Which one exactly? If you aren't aware, I have a lot of them.". "Yeah. My bad. I really should have been specific with that one. It's been a while since I trained a being like you aka one with his fair share of tattoos. Show me the one that appears whenever you use Liasada." said Xiaoshi. "You got it." said Zane, taking off his shirt and focused Liasada into his hands.
Xiaoshi looked at the tattoo with her nodding. "I see. Look at this." said Xiaoshi with Zane stretched his head out and saw where his teacher was pointed to. Etched into a part of his chest tattoo, he saw a thick Roman numeral for 100 aka C. It reminded him of a centipede and looked to be stitched together. It was surrounded by three symbols and formed a triangle around the C. In the top point of the corner of this makeshift triangle, there is a set of two swords crossing blades with it being a royal blue color.
In the lower left corner of this makeshift triangle, his neck tattoo is there. It looks to be the exact same but much smaller. In the lower right corner of this makeshift triangle, the symbol for Albion aka the Greek letter for Psi "Ψ" and it's a platinum color. "Huh. I've never noticed that one before but prior to today, I never had a reason to examine it. It reminds me of the belt that I wore in my Gamma Costume and my superhero logo. So is this a good thing or bad thing?" said Zane.
Xiaoshi crossed her arms as she said,"Not too sure. I'm not too familiar with Liasada but I can read and write it. Have you not had this examined by a fellow Magnus? You must have met one by now since Magnus tend to know about a new one being born and want to see if they're worthy.". "Nope since well the only other Magnus is Rythos and he isn't the most scholarly one around. He's like my grandpa." said Zane. "That's all too true." said Xiaoshi.

He crossed his arms as he said,"I didn't have a chance to tell anyone about it since I presumed that it went away over time. Maybe it was a very delay reaction to one of Basalt's attacks. Beside the four of you, I'm sure the Transient Yonder crew know about it. The twins are already plan on making me pay for what I did during the whole Z.E.R.O. Watch exploding fiasco. They think that I don't know about their scheme but I can see it coming from a mile away.".
Zane smiled as he said,"I don't need Crisis Judgement to tell me what they're planning.". "Let me guess. You're going on a date with them." said Xiaoshi. "Yeah. How did you know? I think you're pretty scient like Hourglass but not omniscient like Rumos and Savant are." said Zane. "Zane. Don't doubt the Alvarez clan especially the women. I hope you have fun on your little date but back to the symbol. I noticed that it was glowing platinum during your fight earlier." said Xiaoshi.

You can turn it into a different form of Impulse or cause it to explode with just a simple thought. Within seconds, the group of Delphi, Hayate, Hayato, and Rairaka appeared. "So how long did you know about us being here mistress?" said Hayato. "A while now. Don't worry. I don't think Zane minded you being here if he detected your Impulse Signature which I'm sure he did. I did taught all of you quite well on how to hide it but I'm sure he could hear you using that hyper hearing of his." said Xiaoshi. "So to switch topics, I blame you Delphi." said Rairaka. "For what?" said Delphi.
Rairaka looked at her as she said,"I think you hit him too hard during the test earlier. You somehow made him to try and eat some of Hayate's cooking. That stuff could work as a lethal poison and kill a being who has a tolerance for poison.". "I wasn't the only one to hit him earlier if you recall! Zane must be insane for wanting to try his cooking." said Delphi. "I like him. So what do you think I should make for him brother?" said Hayate. "I don't think he's picky like the girls are brother." said Hayato.
He turned toward Xiaoshi with him saying,"So where is the little one? I don't think I've seen or sensed her once since Zane arrived at the temple. Normally, she would have made her presence known by now I would think.". "No idea. She must be doing some training but don't worry. I'll make sure that the two of them met before we begin our training. Delphi and Rairaka. Get things ready for his training. We'll be going to a specific location for his training." said Xiaoshi. "Yes ma'am." said the two.
The two were gone as Hayate said,"So where are you two going mistress? Do I need to help with the cooking?". "Nowhere special Hayate. We're just going to visit an old friend of mine so just focus on Zane's meal okay?" said Xiaoshi. "Okay. I shall make only the best for your nephew." said Hayate. He was gone as Xiaoshi looked at Hayato. "Don't worry. I'll make sure you guys have good food for your trip. I love him but his cooking is awful." said Hayato. "You do good work Hayato." said Xiaoshi.

After Zane finished telling his story about his encounter with Xiaoshi and the Quaternion Totem, Team Maelstrom were currently getting ready for bed. Most of their team had already left for their rooms for the night with the only ones left in Arya, Gwen, and Rachel's room were the third females staying in the room alongside the second in command aka Danny and leader of Team Maelstrom aka Zane. "So are you okay man?" said Danny. "Of course I am bro. Why wouldn't I be?" said Zane.
The Homo Supremus looked at Zane who was currently a slime and being held tightly by Arya enjoying how soft he was. "You had a really bad black eye bro and well, I can't help but worry about you." said Danny. "You're sounding jus like Rae whenever I come back home missing an arm or something like that. Depending on how serious the injuries are, it will just take longer for my body to heal but it will trust me so I'm fine." said Zane.
Zane looked down at his body with him thinking,"Anytime I managed to get with an strike enhanced Invictus Fracturae hurts especially. In fact, I'm still healing from all of these blows but I . Those two don't need to know that.". Despite feeling perfectly fine, his body was still recovering from his fight with the two canine women earlier. That lightning managed to break certain parts of his body with it mainly focused around his left arm, face mainly around his left eye, right arm, and stomach.
The slime sighed as he thought,"Those two women were in no way weak that's for sure but well, I'll get stronger next time we fight. I'm already beginning to analyze Delphi's attack I absorbed earlier and that lightning. I'm sure I'll master it. Rairaka's ability to completely hide her Impulse Signature on the other hand is another story.". Unaware of Zane's mental conflict, Gwen was looking at Rachel. "So why aren't you competing with Arya over holding Zane right now?" said Gwen.
Rachel turned toward her best friend as she said,"I can just ask him to hold him later in private.". "Oh wow Rae. You sound so mature right now. The jealous devil is actually letting someone holding her man. This is so strange to see." said Danny. For his comment, he was pinched by Rachel. "So do you know anything about that lightning Zane mentioned Arya?" said Rachel. "Not much except for it was named by the Guardian and Protector of Terrarune Riser." said Arya.
Danny nodded as he said,"I remember him. He was the guy who lead us to Spiro's palace six years ago.". "So do you know anything about it Zane?" said Gwen. "A little more than what Arya and the Alliance does but well, I'll ask my auntie about it later. It appeared whenever I fought against Malik and Xiadur but from what I gathered, neither Delphi or Rairaka are Qlakriks. I could be wrong but I didn't sense any Carnal being used by either of them." said Zane, crossing a pair of chibi slime arms.
His sprouted arms was went over his body. "So before you go on one of your rants, are you sure about Xiaoshi being your 25th-great aunt Zane?" said Rachel. "I'm pretty sure that she is Rae. She just screams Alvarez like you, Ellie, my mom, and Uriel do." said Zane with his arms vanishing. "Okay. I'll trust you but if I find out she's lying to you, she'll regret it." said Rachel with her body getting covered in Ardor with Arya looking at Zane.
Arya sighed as she said,"Yeah. If you didn't noticed Zane, she isn't the best mood right now due to her meeting the howler monkey earlier. Like with most beings, the monkey made a bad first impression on her.". "Ah. Beatrix managed to catch you off guard didn't she?" said Zane. "Yeah she totally did." said Danny with Rachel glaring at him and Gwen sighing. "She just got lucky is all. I'm sure that next time, I'll defeat her." said Rachel.
Zane could see that she was serious about this. "And I'm sure you will but you need to be cautious of her regardless. Despite being far too slender for active duty in the Alliance in my opinion, she isn't stupid. She is the number one female rookie in the Alliance." said Zane. "And let me guess. You're the number one male rookie." said Gwen. "Yep! He sure is even though he considered Danny or Harry to be more fitting of the title than him" said Arya. "Thanks bro. So is Harry here?" said Danny.
The slime looked at his friend as he said,"I think so and last time I checked, he was now a Archduke Second Class. He's doing better than Marcos Koizumi.". "Yeah but that's a given since Marcos is just awful even among his family." said Arya. "True. Marcos may be the only Koizumi I met so far but honestly, I'm no rush to meet any more. Beatrix's best strength is her brain since a being with enough knowledge, she could defeat them despite being weak." said Zane.
Arya nodded as she said,"And don't forget about that sonic scream of hers. It isn't a pleasant sound right?". "No it really isn't. My ears are still ringing from that incident even though it's been years since then. It makes a flock of seagull screeching directly into my ears sound pleasant in comparison. Her voice rivals Hannah's on a bad day. She's also good at detecting Impulse." said Zane. "So what incident are you talking about?" said Danny. "You never told them about that day." said Arya.
Zane sprouted a pair of arms with him making them shrug. "It never came up in a conversation Arya and well, I forgot to mention it to them. It isn't that big of a deal to begin with it since it only happened after the hot springs incident.". "The hot springs incident?" said Danny and Gwen. "Yeah. I remember hearing about that but well, I was too scared to go." said Arya. "Yeah because well, the Howler Monkey turned out to be a prude too alongside being a loud mouth. She called us guys nasties." said Zane.
Rachel looked at Zane with her saying,"Wait a minute. That prude from the story you told my mom and Beatrix are the same woman.". "Yep. She sure is Rae. A total buzzkill. If you didn't noticed, she only cares about her appearance rather than her work for the Alliance. She could have been a Commander Third Class by now but nope, she'll only become a Commander if her precious Marcos becomes one too." said Zane. "Which may happen if Marcos manages to do well." said Arya.
Zane nodded as he said,"Yeah but well, I'm praying to all of the gods of the Omniverse to make sure that doesn't happen.". "I get why you don't like him Zane since well, the Alvarez and Koizumi families don't get along." said Arya. "The Koizumi family?" said Gwen. "One of the three families who have been with the Alliance since its founding after the Omniverse war. The Koizumi family is well known for being obsessed with power and status." said Arya.
Danny nodded as he said,"And I guess you're not a fan of that are you Zane?". "Nope. Marcos Koizumi is easily the worst one in the family's entire history no doubt and well, I think Beatrix liking him is the dumbest mistake she has ever made in her life. She's smart no doubt but that's only good for more academic jobs rather than combat jobs. In a fight, she will get herself or others killed because of her lack of awareness on the battlefield if Marcos is involved." said Zane.
The four looked right at the slime who was began muttering everything wrong about Beatrix and Marcos. "Wow. Even as a slime, he can't stop once he gets going." said Rachel. "Yeah. Zane really doesn't like those two mainly Beatrix. When he was working with the Alliance, he was often partnered up with those two before I came out of my house. He really didn't like being stuck with a woman who is bossy, rude, and screeches louder than a banshee with a megaphone aka a major turn off." said Arya.
Gwen whistled as she said,"So do you mind getting him to stop Arya or Rae? I'm really curious about the incident.". "Sure but I rather not kiss Zane right now. I like him as a human rather than a slime." said Rachel. "You're not in the mood for kissing Zane? I'm shocked Rae." said Danny. "So if Rae won't kiss him, time for Operation TTS." said Arya with her glasses shining. "Operation TTS?" said the trio. Arya smiled as she picked Zane up and tossed him into the nearby wall, splatting against it.
Part of his body managed to find its way onto Danny's face, blinding him. "Zane!" said Rachel as she ran over to the wall. "Oh wow. I didn't expect you to have the strength to do something like that to Zane of all beings. Are you alright Danny?" said Gwen as she and Arya watched Rachel try and remove Zane from the wall but he wasn't budging. Danny threw up a thumbs up toward where he thought Gwen was but his thumb was aimed toward the wall where Zane was.
Arya laughed with her saying,"Don't you dare doubt the power of the glasses girl Gwendolyn. It can make a being like Zane look weak in comparison.". Zane blinked as he looked down to see his body all spread out against the wall. "Um. Why am I like this?" said Zane as he tried to bring back his body back together but it wasn't working. "You were rambling again dummy and I didn't want to kiss you when you're all syrupy." said Rachel with her pulling on Zane's body trying to remove him from the wall.
Danny removed the candy syrup like substance off his face as he took a deep breath. "Okay. Next time you do that Arya, warn a guy okay?" said Danny. "No Danny because if I do that, he'll figure out how to defeat Operation TTS if he hasn't already. I can't have that since he has managed to defeat most of my operations. I need to come up with the perfect way to defeat him when he's being mean to me with all of his teasing." said Arya. "Ah. Never mind then." said Danny as he handed Zane back part of himself.
After Zane managed to pull himself back together, he turned back into his normal appearance and stretched. "Okay. It's good to know that I'm far less durable when I'm in my slime form. Need to work on that." said Zane. "So what is the incident?" said Gwen. "Oh. You want to know? Okay. So you three met Beatrix and saw her hair right? It's nice right?" said Zane with the trio of Danny, Gwen, and Rachel nodding. "Do you mind bringing up a picture of her old coiffure Arya?" said Zane.
The assistant nodded as she began typing something on her laptop and made an image appear above it with the group looking at it. "Oh wow. She looks absolutely dreadful." said Gwen. Instead of her hair being a manageable shoulder length, it was mid-back length. She had it cut to the length seen in the last episode after a certain mission she went on with Marcos. Her hair wasn't a telemagenta color with it being a grotesque lime green and she had streaks of orange running through it.
Danny looked at Zane with him saying,"So let me guess. You once called reverse pumpkin head didn't you?". "Yep but after hearing her delightful voice a single time, Howler Monkey stuck with me." said Zane. "So how did it change from that awful color to something nice to look at? You helped her change the color right Zane? I hated her before after what she said about you but this. I really don't like that color combo." said Rachel. "Yeah I did but well, Arya helped me out." said Zane.
Arya smiled as she said,"Of course I did. Zane here was thinking of dyeing her hair to be a cotton candy color.". "Yeah but she totally screams that a girl who would have natural pink hair right?" said Zane. "I guess but telemagenta works with her much better." said Arya. "True." said Zane. "Focus you two." said Gwen. "Fine. Let just say that I performed a totally innocent prank on her." said Zane with his signature smirk on his face. "Of course you did. You and pranks really go good together." said Danny.
Rachel looked at Zane with her saying,"Yeah but Zane's pranks are in no way innocent. Who are you and what have you done with the man I love?". "It's still me Rae. My prank involved some hair dye that I made to be well permanent since it gets into the DNA structure of the being in question, changing their hair color permanently. I did this after dealing with her bad mouthing me for three months since I'm a monster in her eyes." said Zane. "You're a real super villain sometimes." said Rachel.
Zane shrugged as he said,"Yeah but lucky for the Omniverse, I'm only a villain in certain circumstances despite what Beatrix says. And don't you forget. You're getting married to said super villain.". The two kissed with Arya shaking her head. "So do you mind telling us how that happened? I'm real curious now." said Danny with Arya nodding. "Sure. I wasn't there when it happened but I did help him make the plan possible so it was our first mission working together." said Arya.
Flashback P.O.V:
As the full moon was active over Ezlario, the bright light was illuminating on Zane. He was currently in his Crimson Spade costume from 2020 and was currently using its impressive cloaking system. He was sitting on a rooftop nearby the apartment of the woman who annoyed him more than Hannah and Sam did back in high school. From what he could sense, the target and none of her friends ,which was a surprise to him given her awful personality, weren't there.
Upon figuring this out, Zane smiled maniacally. "I think it's time to begin Operation Newdo. I'm pretty sure that my naming of my plans or anything will get much better in time. Probably not but I can dream." thought Zane. He jumped from his spot with him landing on the target area. "It's a good thing I made sure to disable the anti-phasing security system prior to coming here. She needs a better password than I Love Marcos. Liger Form could figure it out." thought Zane as he phased into the room.
With him making a Zenith Sphere appear in his hand, Zane saw what was inside of the room and almost puked. "Oh god. It's so pink. My eyes are bleeding and her room makes the amount of pink that Bimbo wears look tame in comparison." thought Zane as he was trying his best not to blow up the room and accompanying apartment complex. It was an noticeable eyesore and migraine inducing sight in his not so humble opinion.
Despite him being on a mission in a true disgusting looking place, he couldn't help him from exploring the room. It took a couple of minutes for him to figure out that she wasn't here to serve the Alliance and the Omniverse but to keep other women and men from stealing her precious Marcus away. Beatrix made her feelings obvious to Marcos but he's very dense. I'm talking about even more dense compared to your average Harem Protagonist denseness.
Zane shook his head as he said,"If this girl isn't an psychopath in another dimension, I'll be shocked so lets do some investigation.". After a few minutes of investigation, Zane noticed a switch on the wall and flicked it. Upon doing so, an secret closet appeared along the wall and Zane walked inside. He was a fan of anything hidden alongside beams, cannons, and robots so this should be a good thing right? It wasn't since well, there was a lot of photos of her crush Marcos plastered everywhere.
There were ones where he was training, ones where he was walking through the city, eating, and there were some where the only article of clothing was a towel. Yeah. Stalkers like this exist in real life and not just cartoons. If you need a example of this, think the shrine to Arnold from Hey Arnold but far more disgusting. "I think this girl needs to see god soon because my gods, this bitch is a prime example stalker!" thought Zane.
After saying that, Zane noticed something important in the pile. "Okay. That is a bag of his hair. I think I'm regretting every coming here I would have sent a clone but I won't want to do that to him since I'll learn about this place regardless." said Zane as he noticed a pair of the crush's boxers and a doll that mimicked the crush with noticeable lipstick markings on it. Zane walked out of the closet with him flipping the switch to once again hide it.
He blinked with him thinking,"And I think I've been scarred for life. Good thing I told Arya that I would do this by myself. She is finally leaving her house. Totally thought it was going to be the countless amount of murder I've seen but nope. It was a stalker's secret shrine. Time to go back with the plan and hopefully, drink several gallons of bleach afterwards. Don't do this at home kids.". He left the room and walked toward the bathroom.
With a noticeable gulp, he entered the room and saw that it was normal. "Oh thank the gods! At least this place is normal!" said Zane as he spotted her shampoo and it was obvious that it was her due to her name being bedazzled on it. "And I think it's time for me to give her just desserts." said Zane. A few minutes later, Zane phased out of the apartment and was back on the rooftop. "I think I will say that was a success." thought Zane.
He looked at the apartment with him saying,"Just in case. I'm going to activate Oblivion Atmosphere before I go to bed since I'm sure that the female will be releasing a powerful sonic screech tomorrow and pick up some bleach since mother of all gods, that place is so damn creepy. I hope to the gods that I don't have or will ever a girl like me that much in my future.". He shivered at the end as he went to his residence.
Narrator P.O.V.
Rachel placed her hand on Zane's shoulder as she said,"So how much bleach did you drink?". "A lot of it Rae. Like it was at least thirty gallons minimum. I'm thankful for my body being able to survive that much punishment. That room was just the worst and made me question why I like women for a moment there." said Zane, shivering. "Yeah. It sounds pretty bad and I wasn't even there." said Danny. "And thank you for not have me coming there with you." said Arya.
Gwen shook her head as she said,"So ignoring how much of a creep Beatrix is, what did you put into her shampoo exactly? You mentioned a hair dye right?". "Oh right. I used the combination might of Atomic Form, Matter Form, Naga Form, Ninja Form, Quantum Form, Robot Form, and Salamander Form to make a liquid that will change her once eyesore lime green hair into a more pleasing color. I think it was a success." said Zane. "It was compared to that monstrosity." said Rachel.
Arya looked at Gwen with her saying,"It went down to her DNA and that part was the most tricky in my humble opinion.". "Yeah. Even with your notes, it wasn't exactly the easiest job. I knew how much you would have hated her hair so we planned for the day that you two would meet. I think it's obvious to everyone that you don't like her right?" said Zane. "Of course I do and not because of her hair. Her actions make it disgraceful to be a woman or something along those lines." said Rachel.
Danny nodded as he said,"Yeah and she said something to trigger our devil aka you. So how bad did she react upon seeing her new and permanent look?". "Let just say that the entire dimension shook with how loud she was screaming. Babies were crying, glass and metal were shattered to pieces, the animals big and small were going nuts, and there was a lot of swearing going on. I learned a lot of new words that day even though I was laughing my ass off." said Arya.
Gwen looked at Zane with her saying,"So did you manage to hear her screeching even with you using your Oblivion Atmosphere technique?". "I did and I had my Galaxy Phones on. The beings inside of me heard her screeching with Sivarth not being too keen on being woken up that way. The usually peaceful Azalea suggested murder and there was a part of me that agreed with her. I was punished for it but I got paid for it and was slowly mastering Satanic Corruption much to the twins joy." said Zane.
After that, the two boys left the girls room and head back to their room. "So I got to ask you something Zane." said Danny. "What's up?" said Zane. "In your honest opinion, where do you think all of us stack up in comparison to the rest of the others competing in the Armistice Festival? You and Arya told us that we're going to be fight up against fifteen Archdukes/Archduchess and five Knights excluding us. Be completely honest with me." said Danny.
Zane cupped his chin as he said,"Well since you put me on the spot, I guess I'll tell you. All of you will go up the ranks and become an Archduke/Archduchess without a doubt. However, I'm sure that only three of you will become a Commander and the rest of you will be defeated. Danny opened the door to their room with him seeing Wolfram fast asleep. "I see. You were completely honest with me so I guess that's better than nothing. Let me guess. That assessment of yours was based off your time spent with them right bro?" said Danny, petting the Phantom whose tail wagged faster at the touch of his friend. "Yeah. Like me, all of them got stronger over the years especially Arata. He's one of the strongest beings I ever met so expect to face off against a master of Impulse." said Zane.
The Homo Supremus nodded as he said,"Yeah but don't forget. I'm not going to let that stop me since like you, I made a promise to myself.". "You did?" said Zane. "Yep. I promised to become someone who can properly stand by your side and protect you. Before you say anything, I know that it sounds just like Rae's reasons except less romantic so don't make it that. I wasn't there for you when you needed me during the Massacre and I won't let that happen to you ever again so I will become strong." said Danny.
Zane smiled as he said,"Yeah. I'm pretty sure with that level of determination of yours, you can defeat Arata.". "I can? Didn't you say that he was one of the strongest beings you ever made?" said Danny. "I did but even the strongest beings in the Omniverse can be defeated if up against their truly worse opponent. We probably should get some sleep. You guys got a big day tomorrow since the Armistice Festival doesn't hold its punches." said Zane. "Yeah. Night." said Danny. "Night." said Zane.
After falling asleep, Zane found himself in his mindscape. It was back to being the plain, lifeless white void he was used to with Zane smiling. "Yep. I missed you white void. I was a bit worried that I would have my mindscape change to something normal like that eerie blackness. I'm going to guess that it only appears when I'm talking with the Elite. So why am I back here? Did the Elite have something else to tell me? Perhaps something about auntie." said Zane with him beginning to walk around.
It took about five minutes before he found anything of note and it was something that stuck out like a sore thumb. "Okay. That's new." said Zane. Part of his mindscape was currently raining that looked to be a never ending rain storm and looked to falling down non-stop from a large gray storm cloud. In the middle of the rain storm, there was a hill with a single object at the top of it. This hill reminded Zane of Skyward Point aka his secret hideaway except it was far more depressing.
He began walking toward it and wondering what this hill was doing here of all places. According to . "I wonder what this is doing here. It isn't like the place where I met the Elite Zeroes so maybe, I'll get to meet one of my past lives. I always wanted to meet Necron Orion. I already met Johnny Vincent way back in 2017 and that encounter took place right before I met Parker. Though I've heard about Necron thanks to Rythos, I really want to meet him." said Zane.
Zane crossed his arms as he said,"I want to have a conversation with him due to him being infamous for great prowess in the arts of magic and he made the Arcane Lexicon which I use to save the day like he did back then. Rerzam would be another being I would like to meet but well, I don't think he was no older than two weeks old before turning into raw Impulse if I believe Cinarva's story. It's weird how I can trust Xiaoshi but not Cinarva even both of them are family. Weird isn't it?".
As he was talking to himself, he eventually entered the rainstorm and his hyper hearing began picking up on someone crying. "Huh. That's real weird. I didn't pick up on that crying earlier. I wonder if the sounds of the rain drowned it out. I usually like the rain due to it being a calming force of nature and brings a sense of peace to me after a rather stressful day but this storm is just plain depressing." said Zane as he made a Primordial umbrella appear over him.
He began walking up the hill with the crying getting stronger. "Okay. This is either a memory of an Elite's past or one of my former lives." thought Zane. As he reached the top of the hill, he founded the source of the crying. The source looked to be a teenage boy with him being a year older than Atem's biological age. He looks to be 171.5 centimeters or 5 foot 7 with him having a well developed muscular figure.
The teen has short, spiky white hair with it looking to be in the shape of fire due to how it sticks out at different angles and his bangs frame his face. He has navy blue eyes with them looking to be serious and not friendly . He wears an unzipped dark green jacket with a white fur collar and lining. It went up to his ankles and flared out at the bottom. His jacket has gold colored buttons on the bottom of his sleeves with his buttons having a flame like pattern to it.
Under his jacket, he wears a gray long sleeved polo shirt with a wide collar and has the top buttons undone, exposing the top part of his chest aka the clavicle. He wears a ultramarine tie loosely around his neck. He has a pair of black colored slacks with pale turquoise sneakers. His sneakers have white colored laces. Around his neck, he looks to be wearing a ripped ultramarine scarf and has a silver cross shaped earring in his right ear.
Strapped around his chest thanks to a dark red leather belt, there is a pouch and looked to be able to fit a book inside of it. His eyes looked empty at the moment with tears filling them up. The tears went down his cheeks as it created a small trail that was only part of the liquid covering his body. "Huh. I don't know who this guy is but from what I'm guessing, he should be familiar to me." thought Zane. Around the young man, there was a dark blue aura.
His aura had a hint of orange and red in it as well but it was mainly a dark blue color. "I think I know who this guy is or what he represents. The day when I finally get up the nerve to visit their graves at the Garden." thought Zane. "I wish I went with you on that assignment Kiyomi but I didn't. You died at the hands of the being who was supposed to protected you in my place. Does he get punished for it? No. He gets special treatment. Damn you Reizo Koizumi!" said the boy, falling to his knees.
Zane watched the young man punching the soaked ground with it slowly getting covered in a red color that was being washed away with the rain. "A Koizumi was responsible for his friend's death. I guess even back then, that family caused trouble for everyone around them. I wonder if this memory takes place before or after the Alliance's founding." said Zane. In front of the young man, there was a diamond shaped gravestone placed on a rectangle metal slab and had some writing on it.
The Cross Species looked at the writing ,which was written in Liasada, with it saying,"Here lies Kiyomi Adalora, the Astral Orchid. Beloved friend to all.". "Weird. It doesn't have the day and year that she was born or died. That's right. I remember Leif telling me that the Omniverse didn't really follow a dating system until after the Omniverse War. Guess I figured out when this takes place and the being who died here was a Magnus or maybe it was the deceased." said Zane as he turned toward the teenager.
For a while now, he was silent and looked to be have an inner conflict with himself. "Kiyomi. I promise that I will become stronger. Far stronger than that bastard Kozimi and become to the one who end this war! No one will stop me from achieving that!" said the teen. As if his voice was reaching the heavens above, the sky flashed with lightning and this caused the teen to jump back. "But first, I need to finish my training. Maybe I can get those guys to help me." said the teen.
He ran off as Zane watched him leave. "While that was a sweet moment and something I would totally do if I had the courage to visit their graves, why did I see this?" said Zane. "Yeah. I can't believe that you saw me on my worse days. It wasn't exactly the best first impression of me and I was depressed at the time. All of my close friends perished because of the Omniverse War but luckily, their effort wasn't in vain so thanks for letting me see the future we fought so hard though Zane." said a gruff voice.
Zane blinked and looked around for the voice. "Okay then. Who said that? Shizuku. Is that you? You really pull off a good Sivarth impression." said Zane. "Oh right. Thanks to the reincarnation spell I casted, you can't see me but I can see you. Guess I pulled a Kiyomi huh. I guess I should introduce myself properly even though you totally know who I am." said the voice as Zane noticed that his chest tattoo was glowing molten gold aka one of the primary sign of him Liasada.
Before too long, the molten gold Impulse changed into a ultramarine color before the gathered up Impulse flew right off him. It looked to be similar to a burning fire or similar to the color of fire that's created by Potassium chloride. and the flames began forming into a humanoid masculine figure. He looked to be the same height as the teenager from earlier except he looked to be in his early twenties like Zane. His figure is slim but muscular.
His skin is blackish gray and covered completely in ultramarine cracks, mimicking veins. He has long up to his shoulder, spiky ultramarine colored hair with it looking to be in the shape of fire due to how it sticks out at different angles. Part of it is tied into a high ponytail. He has two long white streaks going through his hair with these streaks being sharp and distinguished. His calm yet furious crimson red eyes were slightly strange looking being that his pupil was slightly elongated, being an oval shape.
In his mouth, his teeth are similar to a shark but usually hidden by his mouth. He has a small scar over his left cheek. He has five fingers with the ends of them being pointed. From the lower right side of his abdomen to his left shoulder, he has a noticeable rune styled sea dragon themed tattoo which glows ultramarine. He wears a black long sleeved shirt that cover the entire upper half of his body, exposing his muscular abdomen and chest. The sleeves of his shirt stop around his elbows.
His undershirt isn't as obvious due to him wearing a ultramarine metal ,with a flame like pattern, breast and back plate covering his torso and back respectively. He wears dark green ,with a distinct white fur lining, armored gauntlets that extend up to his elbows and pauldrons guarding his shoulders and upper arms. His black pants are tucked into a pair of brown metallic boots that have spikes at the tips. Around his neck, he wears a golden choker with it having a pattern similar to his chest tattoo.
The pants have a ultramarine sash with it having the same design as his chest tattoo. He wears a black gladiator style like helmet that covers his face being that it has two silts for his eyes and opening for his mouth. His visor shows off a silver cross shaped earring in his right ear. Protruding from the top of his helmet, he has three horns that were an inch by themselves. The center horn are covered in magical ultramarine flames.
In his right hand, he was holding an all too familiar book aka the Arcane Lexicon. "Who are you? And what are you doing with that book?" said Zane with him staring at the strange figure. "Seriously? Don't you know who I am? I mean you met my old friend Rythos and fought against him. You also fought against his "girlfriend" or should I say her minions? She can fight but she's the type to have fight for her if you catch my drift. She's a total summoner type." said the man.
Zane looked at him with the Cross Species saying,"So you're Necron right?". "Yep. It didn't take you that long too figure out my identity. I guess you're smarter and that's a good thing." said Necron. "Huh. I totally thought Rythos was joking about your height but wow. You're tiny compared to him and me your descendant." said Zane, smiling. The flame over his horn grew in size and intensity with Necron glaring right at Zane whose smile only grew seeing his anger.
Necron glared right at Zane with him saying,"I'm not short damn it! You and Rythos are just abnormally tall giants!". "Not really. 6 foot 6 is really small compared to a giant. I'm just thankful that I got my height from other sources rather than you." said Zane. "As your elder, I'll just ignore that comment about my height which isn't short but average sized. You don't make fun of Galen or others around my height or shorter so why me?" said Necron.
Without missing a beat, Zane said,"You really have issues with your height don't you Necron?". He easily dodged Necron's right hook. "Yeah. You're clearly sensitive about it and well, teasing you is really fun. Rythos told me that you couldn't handle a joke about your height and teasing you about it is fun which it is. So why are you here now? While I'm happy to finally meet you, I would like to know why." said Zane. "I wanted to meet you because of an obvious fact." said Necron.
Zane looked at Necron with him saying,"Which is?". "You know absolutely nothing about Liasada and that's a great disservice to my legacy. Liasada or magic based Impulse is how I managed to seal away that bastard who I'm sure is planning his return back to the Omniverse." said Necron. "Okay then. While I sorta of disagree about me knowing absolutely nothing about Liasada since I know about it thanks to Gwen, Rythos, and Triton, what makes you so sure about Skull Plague?" said Zane.
Necron looked at Zane with the Cross Species saying,"According to his sis, he isn't leaving his home dimension any time soon. I just trust her on this. His minions on the other hand can come and go as they please.". "Call it a paranoid hunch. Maybe I was wrong saying that you don't know nothing about Liasada. You can read and speak it fine but that isn't too special. A normal Sorcerer like your friend can do that but Liasada is both a spoken and written language." said Necron.
He looked right at Zane as he said,"With what you're doing, you're doing nothing but mocking the Magnus. It's a very bad joke and even though I'm basically dead, I can't stand for it. I'm sure that I can help you ultimately use Liasada to enhanced the power of your attacks so that you can defeat anyone with it even though magic isn't your strong suit. It may not increase your strength by a great deal but I rather have you not insult my species any more than you already have.".
Zane looked at Necron with him saying,"Sure I don't mind since well, I really do need some help in the whole magic department. I could ask Gwen but she's busy with her own magical studies. However, I did promise my aunt my full attention to my training with her.". "Oh I know but well, it won't take up too much time and just requires a fair bit of reading/writing. Doing this will make you even stronger than before." said Necron. "So welcome to the team." said Zane with him holding out his right hand.
Necron looked at it with him saying,"You want me to shake your hand?". "Of course. We're going to be partners." said Zane. "Kid. We were already partners before hand since you got my book but whatever. I will give you the honor of shaking my hand." said Necron, grabbing Zane's hand. "I should probably inform you about something. You're the only one who can see and hear me. No one else can and well, I hate the Koizumis." said Necron. "Because of that I'm guessing." said Zane, pointing to the grave.
The Magnus nodded as he said,"Yeah. Kiyomi died because of Reizo being a cowardly bitch. He and the rest of his family did jack shit during the Omniverse War but somehow, they're looked upon fondly in your era. Do note that if you were friends with the latest Koizumi, I wouldn't be a happy camper with you. His brother is another story but you never met him personally so don't you dare think that all Koiumi are like him.". "Of course. I wouldn't expect you to be a fan of that family." said Zane.
Zane crossed his arms as he said,"Even though I didn't know about what happened to your friend Kiyomi, I never really liked the Koizumi from my era. He just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe that's because of you but who knows? Oh and I never met his brother before. Kurt, Lucius, and my dad did with them saying that he was the only good Koizumi." said Zane. Necron looked at the grave with him sighing.
He turned around to face Zane with him saying,"Once this vacation is over and you get some free time from your hectic life, you need to go visit their graves and talk with them about what's going on in your life. I'm sure those six would love to see how you're doing even if they're no longer living.". "I plan on it but you and several others may have drag me there. Just telling you that now." said Zane. "Ah. I figured that to be the case. Well, you better get going." said Necron with Zane nodding.
He was gone as Necron looked at Kiyomi's grave and snapped his fingers. A bouquet of sunflowers in front of the grave. "I know that this isn't your grave exactly because Ithuna is a dump right now. Not even your grave was spared from the Omniverse War's destruction and our ancestral home is now a dump for toxic elements. I did managed to fulfill my promise to you and hopefully, I can help Zane achieve the promises he made." said Necron with him talking to the grave as it was an old friend.
