Zero Episode 87 The Cosmonaut and the Tremendous

A/N: Yep. If it wasn't obvious by now, the past three episodes have been some not subtle hints about Kristen and Zane getting together. This may be a not so subtle sign that I like these two together. I did this before on Episode 40 being that I "broke" them up due to the Universe Crucifixion in Episode 46. I also count the Zero Shorts being that the first and second one are in between Episode 39 and 40 with the third, fourth, and fifth went in between Episode 44 and 45.

So counting 40 as the start to the relationship, Krane lasted 10 episodes. It'll begin once again but the count is back at zero being that they were just friends ,bordering into dating, up to this episode. I like every single relationship I have planned for Zane in this series and both spinoffs. I'm planning on starting the first spin-off by April but I could be horribly wrong. This episode is part of the series of events involving Countess Chimera's plan and the Odium Society make Downpour and Steamroller.

This episodes plans on showing off more of Zane's dual life as the superhero Legion Zero and Zane. I always really need to focus on that. I'll also be showing off two new heroes that we've learned the names off in Episode 81. We'll be kicking the romance aspect ,which is there, into high gear with this part and it'll be intense. 

Narrator P.O.V.
Zane ,as Legion Zero, was currently looking over the city from his perching spot. It was an balcony of an abandoned clock tower. The fact that it wasn't bought by anyone yet is because it's rumored to be haunted but any true residents knows that's just a rumor to get rid of anyone who could change an integral part of Cypress Park. The tower was in the center of town being that Zane could see the Cypress Park Chronicles building and nearby city hall which was also in the center of town.

The other rumor of the clock tower is that Legion Zero aka Cypress Park's true projector made his superhero base this. Zane was thinking of making this place for the tower he had in the future that he visited almost two years ago. "I may not be born in Cypress Park but I've lived here most of my life so I should know the best spots right? This is top five right gang?" said Zane. It may seem like he's talking to himself but he's actually talking to his crackpot team of Athena, Cole, Kane, and Sivarth.

He's connected to them being that wearing his Z.E.R.O. (Zenith Ectoplasm Range Omega) watch is how both Athena and Cole talk with him through a mind link or wearing his Galaxy Phones. The latter of the two is because of something called Elysian. Zane could chat with either of them in the pocket dimension or whenever they want to chat. "I guess but to me, everything looks nice. So what's for patrol tonight Zane?" said Sivarth.

Zane shrugged as he said,"Who knows? I may stop some street crimes. They think that just because I'm focused on big bads like the giant puddle and genetic misfit means that they can steal from mom and pop stories all across the city.". "Sounds like a plan to me. Lets use some of the tools that we spent 1,050 years developing and creating." said Kane. "True. It's time to fly or run on air. I'm the best at being semantic." said Zane. He placed the goggles over his eyes as he jumped off his perch.  

He was falling toward the ground and he said,"Let's go Gravity Drive!". He soon stopped on the air and he move through the air. "So explain this ability to me again Zane. I still don't get it." said Cole as he tilted his head. "Zane says that this is based off Sharia Greenwood's kingdom Ayecia Dynasty. It allows Zane to ride the currents of the Omniverse that's all around us. It also can be taught to anyone but like most of Zane's technique, it's hard to master." said Athena.

Sivarth laughed as he said,"That's right! I remembered that he crashed into everything around him which never stopped being funny.". Zane rolled his eyes as Athena said,"Zane says that it's also relies on his instincts talking the wheel.". "Yeah! I still can't believe that you're stilling doing that despite Leif and your teachers telling you to come up with something unique." said Cole. "True but I'm sure that depending on the instincts of my ancestors is unique." said Zane.

He heard four simultaneously face palms as Kane said,"He isn't wrong but still.". Zane soon heard a silent alarm going off and Zane said,"We'll continue this conversation later team. It's time to capture some idiots.". He soon floated down to the ground ,slowly, as he saw a trio of punks robbing a small grocery store. Zane shrugged as he slowly phased through the wall. He soon rested in the lower right corner as he watched the three stooges.

The head punk said,"Alright. Get everything from the safe and registers. I better not see anything taken or else. This store is owned by my grandma and she'll kill me for this.". "Wow. You'll take her money but not her food. Wow. That's sad. You must be her favorite grandson." said Zane. The head punk saw Zane standing in the doorway as the punk ,by the register, said,"It's Legion Zero!". "Legion Zero? Where? Where? I love him especially when he makes idiots like you look stupid." said Zane.

The head punk said,"Zero! Get him!". The two punks ran toward him as Zane said,"Wow. This is just sad. You guys make the perfect warmup though.". He soon dodged a crowbar from one of them as he said,"Okay. I was hoping for at least C+ punks but I get the dropouts. The Odium Society really has no faith in you guys huh? I mean they at least bring some muscle mainly in the physical department I mean it's really lacking here.". "Shut up!" said the punk. "Nah. That's no fun big guy." said Zane.

Zane soon jumped right onto the back of the punk ,who was swinging at him, as he said,"And here I thought that the Odium Society would have given you idiots a good job being that you three are lucky to be fighting their favorite hero here in the business.". The other punk soon swung the bag of money at Zane who jumped into the air. This attack inadvertently hit the punk with the crowbar as Zane landed on a light post above them.

Zane said,"Yep. Since we're at a food store, I would say that you guys are the appetizers for tonight's but kicking.". He soon made a Green Nether Grappling Hook and he threw it into the store. It latched onto a fruit stall as it was hooked on tight. "Ha! You missed us!" said the head punk. "That wasn't the point Einstein." said Zane. He soon pulling the rope back and the stall went flying. Two of the three punks were hit by the stall and slammed them right into the light post from earlier.

Zane said as he looked at the two who was groaned in pain,"As you two can plainly see, that was my ingenious plan. So where did grandma's favorite grandson go?" said Zane. He saw the man running away as Zane soon tsk tsk. He turned his right arm into the candy syrup being that he fired his arm toward the punk, grabbing him. "What the hell is this stuff?!" said the man. "I call it Sweet Reaction and it's very hard to get out of little old me once I have you in my grasp." said Zane.

Zane soon brought the punk back being that he said,"You'll regret this!". "Tell that to the fist of the Zero!" said Zane. He soon punched him out cold and he twisted his arm around the light post. It soon had the punk floating in the air. Zane soon grabbed his knife using his other hand and he cut off his arm in a second. It soon regrow back as Zane admired his handywork. The trio was held in a candy syrup themed net with Zane smiling.

He soon heard police sirens heading toward him and he said,"And once you come too, tell the police who sent you to the cleaners for me.". He soon flew off as he didn't noticed the small sphere with a camera lens. In an unknown room, Randal Carson aka Taurus stood next to a laptop. "Okay. I've got enough proof for those idiots to show their mugs." said a unknown person. "Sure thing boss. Time to squash this pest for good and the Tremendous will do the job." said Taurus.

The next morning, Zane had just finished his training regime with him opening up the backdoor to his kitchen. After his training in the Archipelago, his training regime which is ten to twenty laps around Cypress Park or wherever he lives in the future, over 10,000 push ups, and 10,000 pull ups with 100 ton weights. He opened the fridge and he grabbed himself one of his mom's inventions aka a sports drink. It looked like a normal energy drink being a dark purple color.

It was filled with an immense amount of electrolytes and due to Zane's powers draining him when he uses too much of his power in a single burst, he needed a lot of them plus calories. "Ah! This is so dam good" said Zane. He placed the bottle ,on the nearby counter top, as he smiled. "It's a good thing that your mom is friends with several rich individuals. You eat so much and well, I think you would need several part time jobs to feed you." said Sivarth.

Zane nodded as he heard,"Zane.". He turned to see Natasha standing there with her arms crossed. "Hi mom." said Zane. "Please tell me that you weren't out all night again." said Natasha. "Okay. I was out for 80% of it. I came back home and took a quick power nap. I just got back from my training and I'm about to take my morning shower." said Zane. "Zane. Please tell me you aren't pushing yourself. You have friends who can help you pick up the slack a bit." said Natasha.

Zane said,"Mom. I'm fine. You can tell when I'm sick or tired right?". "I can but has anyone hit your Achilles Heel yet?" said Natasha. She looked over her taller son as Cole said,"I told you that her finding out about it would be a bad idea Zane!". Zane sighed as he grabbed her shoulders. "Mom. I'm the man of the house plus I have to make memories before all of you go well to the Astral Realm. Did you know that the Astral Realm is the heaven of the Omniverse?" said Zane.

Natasha said,"That explains your decision to join the football team. I learned what I needed to know from Parker. He may be vert stingy on information but he gave me just enough to build up a case or inferring information. You don't have to do this you know? Atem is actually trying to learn football so he can cheer you on at your first game.". "That does sound like my son but I have to. I know that me and Atem are going to be around for a long time so I need to make memories." said Zane.

Zane said,"Leif aka one of the Astral Elders says that making memories is very important to make sure I don't go completely crazy when I'm in my hundreds. I'll be fine mom. I promise.". Natasha sighed as she said,"You're just like your father. He always overworked himself except his reason was to make sure you and I have a perfect life. What's your plan for today? I know that you have school and patrol but what else?".

Zane said,"I'm helping out my friend from Arcadia U move into an apartment here in town. She'll be helping me out with some of my super villain problems.". "Can you really be in two places at the same time? I know you have your Duplication spell but can a clone really mimic you? I mean you're quite unique." said Natasha. "I do have Kane. He says that he can do a pretty good me." said Zane as he pointed to his "essence".

Natasha said,"I see. Well, I think you should take a shower. You're starting to stink.". Zane nodded as he said,"Don't worry mom. I'll be fine. No need to worry okay? You already have a lot to worry about mainly involving Atem and Rudy. You'll be a great grandma soon enough.". Natasha pushed her son away as she said,"Whatever Zane. Just getting going. You don't want to keep your friend waiting now do you?". Zane nodded as he headed upstairs.

Natasha sighed as she heard,"Daughter. He'll be fine.". She turned to see her father standing there as she said,"I know that but you haven't been with Zane for most of his life until recently. I can tell when he's overworking himself. I think he needs a good vacation.". "Got any plans for any? We could go visit New York or maybe Zane's old home. He may like that but he'll miss the women in his life other than you, the other female family members, and the ones he loves." said Arturo.

Natasha said,"Are you sure about that Arturo? I'm not doubting you but still.". "It may sound strange but I've been around for several years. I've lived longer than a normal Phantom and my grandson is the heir to Terrarune despite some resistance. He'll be a great king and behind every great king, there is an even better queen or in Zane's case queens." said Arturo. "You do know that it's illegal to have one here in America right?" said Natasha.

Arturo said,"Your son made that knowledge perfectly clearly to me. If you want him to be happy, you need to convince him to go with that. He'll need multiple mates to make sure his big heart gets filled and this is the only way.". "You're serious about this aren't you?" said Natasha. "Deathly. I'm sure that you'll figure out a plan. You're my smart daughter and you'll figure something out. I know you will, I have to head back to Terrarune." said Arturo.

Natasha said,"You've been there a lot lately dad. I'm starting to think that you don't want to be with us anymore.". "I do but I need to convince those against Zane's rule of Terrarune to support him. It's a hard effort even with Spiro's help but I'll get it done before Zane graduates high school. I want to be there for that." said Arturo. The elder Phantom made a portal to Terrarune and he soon entered it. The mother sighed as she started to think of a plan. 

Zane soon come downstairs and he saw his mother in the living room, with her laptop working on something. Zane himself is wearing his unique letterman jacket and under his jacket, he's wearing a hybrid of his black t-shirt over a long sleeved gray shirt and gray sweater with a black zigzag pattern to it being a black long sleeved shirt with a gray zigzag pattern. He's wearing his blue jeans and his black, purple, and white sneakers. "Hey mom." said Zane.

She looked up as she said,"Yes Zane?". "Have you seen my Galaxy Phones? I kinda need them so my ears don't bleed." said Zane. "Oh. I need to upgrade the software in them. You're a big strong hero and I'm sure that you can talk with your partners without them." said Natasha. "Okay then. It won't effect me too much since I'll be at Arcadia U. The bells there are like nothing." said Zane. "So aren't you going to make a clone?" said Natasha. Zane nodded as he said,"Zenith Duplication.".

The mother soon saw an slightly older and invert version of her son standing there next to her son. It's Kane from Episode 77. "You do know that I don't look like you at all right? To be honest, I look more Malik than Zane." said Kane. "I know that Kane. Hold on a dam second." said Zane. Kane soon turned into a copy of Zane with the Vulcorian looking at himself. "Okay. This is so weird. I'm so young and flesh colored again." said Kane.

Natasha said,"So what's the difference between the two? You two are identical.". "It's our tattoo on our shoulders. His fangs are slightly pronounced, his horns are still there but much smaller, and he has an "X" shaped piercing." said Zane. "You better get going partner. I'll send you a message through Elysian if there is anything important to you at all." said Kane. Zane nodded with the Cross-Species gone.

Natasha looked at the copy of her son as she said,"So how much power did you take of Zane?". Kane looked at her as he said,"Zenith Duplication is an advanced version of the normal Duplication spell due to the clones being tangible and can look exactly like your kid. They can mimic his powers and himself to an extend. It's mainly used for combat and information gathering. I'm different being that I only took my Vulcorian powers from him. He'll be fine.".

She nodded as she said,"Thank you Kane.". "It's fine. I owe you for saving my life. I'm the last one of my kind left. Being sealed to Zane isn't the worse thing in the world. He's a pretty good kid. A little stupid mainly when it comes to women but a good kid regardless. I better get going. I always wanted to try Zane's motorcycle and I think this is my chance." said Kane. He went out to the garage as the woman shook his head back and forth.

Meanwhile at Champion Tech, Jim Mills was dealing with a not so friendly employee. "You seriously let that ignoramus of a superhero steal MY XJ-100 Rocket Pack to destroy the United Nation's main satellite!" said the employee whose covered by the shadows of the lab. "I know that Mr. Quinn but as of now..." said Jim. "Your daughter didn't even try to recover it back from that hero! She got defeated by him after he destroyed the satellite." said Mr. Quinn. "Hey! Leave Vicky out of this!" said Jim.

Mr. Quinn said,"And why should I? She's your princess after all and the only other person is this hick town to hate Legion Zero. My inventions will revolutionize this dam world into the Future but now, I don't think that will be happening.". "Listen. I'm really sorry about this Craig but things happen. You really should be the bigger man here rather than the crying baby." said a voice. Jim turned to see his boss Derrick Price, two guards, and head scientist Conrad Gibson.

Despite being a scientist, Conrad Gibson has a muscular figure. He has spiky red hair ,which is very much a crimson color, and amber colored eyes. He's wearing a white lab coat with a black suit, white dress shirt, and dark purple tie. He's wearing a pair of black and green lab goggles around his neck. "I do hope you're not being rude to your fellow scientist Craig. Neither you or your daughter did a dam thing wrong." said Derrick. "Thank you sir!" said Jim.

Craig stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself. He has long white hair and blue eyes. He has a thin white goatee. He looks to be in his early to mid 50s but he's actually thirty. He has a tall and lanky figure. He's wearing a white lab coat with a wine red vest, black t-shirt, brown dress pants, and black dress shoes. "He stole my rocketpack and destroy the satellite! I need my compensation." said Craig.

The four walked down to the two as Derrick said,"Do you mind telling Mr. Quinn why I don't care Conrad?". Conrad said as he walked over to Craig,"The child aka Legion Zero is one of our town's sworn protectors. If he had to destroy the satellite and borrow your so precious rocket pack, that's fine. We still the blueprints for them so we'll build a new one. In this game, things happen. You have success so be happy with it instead of being a child not getting the toy he wanted.".

Derrick said,"Well said. Boys take Mr. Quinn out of here. We have work.". Both body guards nodded as they grabbed Craig. "Huh. Why does Conrad's left eye always seem to twitch when he says Legion Zero or Zero? Weird." thought Jim as he watched Craig being dragged away. "I don't blame you or your daughter for this Jim! Be lucky for my kindness!" echoed Craig. "Are you alright Jim?" said Derrick. "I'll be fine sir." said Jim. He walked away as things seemed peaceful.

However in an unknown hangar, the door opened up as Taurus walked in. He turned on the lights as he saw a single ,wooden, stool with a wireless speaker phone. "You three. Come with me. The boss wants a word with you three before the job." said Taurus. The man was soon followed by a very unique looking trio The tallest one is African American, the average sized man is Irish American, and the smallest one is Spanish American. This trio is a unique multi-cultured group.

The tallest one has short brown ,buzzcut, hair and green eyes. He's wearing a brown trench coat with a white tank top under it, a silver figaro chain with the words "Atlas" as a pendant, black pants, and brown combat boots. The smallest one had black hair with a monopoly man mustache and both of them are gelled, brown eyes, and a black ,with a gray and red stripe, fedora hat. He's wearing a black formal vest with a gray dress shirt, gray dress pants, black gloves, and black dance shoes. 

The middle one has short blond hair about to his ears, blue eyes, and freckles. He also has a short blond beard. He's wearing a white cowboy hat with a blue stripe. He's wearing a brown trench coat with a blue and white striped v-neck t-shirt, dark brown jeans, and light blue shoes. He's wearing silver gauntlets with a blue snowflake on the palm. "All are here boss." said Taurus. "We've had a annoying pest here in town for the past couple of weeks and he doesn't stop." said a voice.

It's the same one from earlier. He took a deep breath as Taurus said,"He was busy with those ghosts but those cowards left town. It seems that this kid is related to them somehow.". "I had Taurus here get in contact with one of the Odium Society's top scientist. He's figured out a pattern for the young hero despite him being a wild card in every sense of the word when it comes to his powers. His name is Legion Zero and he's your target boys." said the voice.

Taurus handed a file over to the blond as he said,"You want the Tremendous to handle some kid? We ain't cheap.". "You're correct in questioning me Cryonic but he's a challenge and I'll pay the big bucks to make sure you do that." said the voice. Taurus crackled his knuckles as the blond said,"Lets go then Atlas and Elegant. We got a kid to squash.". The two nodded as the three men for hire soon left the hanger to kill Zero. 

Back at Cypress Park, Kane ,posing as Zane, was doing a pretty good job. He made fun of both Hannah and Sam at the same time, pleasing Brad and the rest of his jocks much to the Vulcorian's dismay, and kept Zane's street creed as the punk student council president. The disguised Vulcorian was currently sitting in his Physics class. He was looking out the window as he heard,"Zane. Are you okay?". He turned to Karen as he said,"I'm fine. Has the bell always been so loud?". 

Karen tilted her head as she said,"Not really but I guess without your Galaxy Phones, things are much louder huh.". "Yeah. It's a pain." said Kane. "Mr. Alvarez and Ms. Castro. Could I have a word with the two of you?" said Ms. Foster. She looked the same as she did two years ago. "Do you happen to remember the trip to CPU's laboratory Ms. Castro?" said Petra. "Yeah. It was something I'll never forget. Doctor. Maxwell Brock is a genius." said Karen.

Kane said,"He's cool I guess.". The Vulcorian knew about him through reading Zane's memory. "He seems so invested in his work after his accident." said Karen. "That's good to know. He was offering three internships at his lab and I wanted to recommend my star students." said Petra. "There's more to this story isn't there Petra?" said Kane. "Yes. You were selected Zane but the principal needed you for something involving your friends on the football team." said Petra.

Kane rolled his eyes as he said,"Oh joy. I'll do both. So how got the other position?". "The bronze medalist." said a voice. Kevin stood there as Karen said,"You should be happy about being one of the top ranking students Kevin.". "I am Karen but still, I don't like being third place." said Kevin. "Well, I guess you should try harder then." said Kane. The two glared at each other before bumping fists. "I wish you good luck with the jocks Zane." said Kevin.

Kane said,"I'll need it that's for sure. See you two later.". He walked off as Petra said,"Anyway, you three start this afternoon. I suggest heading there before Maxwell changes his mind again. He can be quite the scatterbrain sometimes.". Karen and Kevin looked at each other as Kevin said,"I know that I'm not your first choice but....". "I'm just happy that you're not the dick from two years ago. Let's go already Kevin." said Karen. The two were gone as Petra went to grading papers.

On the way to the principal, Kane was talking with Zane through Elysian. "For fuck sakes, how long does it take to move into an apartment?" said Kane. "She had a lot of stuff Kane. Calm your tits." said Zane. "Don't get snappy with me child." said Kane. "So what's going on? You would only call me if something was going on." said Zane. "I'm doing a good job at making sure that no one tells the two of us apart. I'm just heading to Stan's office." said Kane.

Zane said,"Wow. It's been about three weeks since I've been back and this is the first time that I've been called to his office. We're breaking a world record here.". "True kid. I'm here. I'll call if anything changes." said Kane. "Gotcha Kaney. Bye for now." said Zane. Zane hanged up as Kane opened the door to the man's office. Zane soon figured out that his principal was experimented when he was in the army back in WW2 upon the man telling him that after the Malik incident.

He was known as Psycho Soldier being that he can manipulate electricity on a basic level mainly for a powerful shock and also he's immortal. He's also an old friend of Trevor Eremor aka Torpedo. He looked the exact same being that he never ages. "Hey Stan." said Kane. The man looked at Kane as he said,"So has your partner told you about when he's going to be back?". "I guess that old man told you about our secret. Has anyone asked you about why Zane is acting so weird?" said Kane.

Stan said,"You're a good actor. No one has asked me or the counselor about you acting weird. It's quite a shock.". "Thanks. I try to be just like my partner. So what did you need of me?" said Kane as he laid back in his chair. "I know that Zane have tutored Kristen Ortiz in the past and I need his help once again." said Stan. The man explained his favor as Kane said with a smile,"I'll tell him and trust me Stanley, he'll like it for sure.".

Meanwhile in an unknown location, Craig Quinn was suiting up. He's wearing a dark gray full body suit with black and blue armored boots and shoulder plates, gold and silver gauntlets around both of his arms, and something interesting on his back. It looked to be a different colored XJ-100 Rocket Pack with two giant mechanical wings sticking out of it. He put on his silver helmet which looked like a happuri and has a transparent visor. He walked toward the window and flew off.

In the city, the real Zane was stretching. He was currently in a nice apartment which was nearby his "secret base" aka the old clock tower. It had a really big living room which was connected to the nice kitchen, three bathrooms, three bedrooms, and an amazing terrace that had a view over the city. "It may have taken most of the day but I don't regret helping you out Taylor." said Zane as he finished up the move. He turned to see Taylor standing there as she handed him a glass of lemonade.

She's four inches shorter than him. Taylor had her ,long and flowing, violet hair hanging free with her bangs pushed back to show her silver eyes. She's wearing a short-sleeved periwinkle t-shirt that has the words "Warrior Woman" in bold metallic silver writing that covered her chest. It exposes a far amount of her being that it shows off her right collarbone. The neck hole lops off to one side more than other showing off her bra strap. Zane learned not to stare when she broke an man's arm.

Her slightly muscular biceps were exposed ,thanks to her shirt, barely going up to her shoulders. She has a dark purple hoodie ,with silver lining, tied around her waist. She's wearing blue denim jean shorts that are slightly longer than normal, long black tights that exposes her thighs, her phone was hanging out of her pockets and her metallic silver headphones wrapped around her neck, and her purple tennis shoes. "Thanks Taylor." said Zane.

He took a sip of it as Taylor looked at him. In the past two years, she's devoted herself to her studies in academics, heroics, and housework mainly in the cooking department. She wanted to be Zane's main partner much to the teasing of her friends. Upon hearing about the opportunity to help Zane and his friends handle metahuman menaces in Cypress Park, she had to compete with her friends in order to help him. Her main competition was with Sierra. Sierra was very close but Taylor won barely.

Taylor said,"I have to once again thank you for your help Zane.". "Taylor. We're friends. This is no big deal to me because having the ability to make clones makes moving not so bad. It does drain you of your powers though. This is really good lemonade Taylor." said Zane. She smiled as Taylor said with a smile,"Could I ask you for another favor?". "It doesn't involve shopping right? I don't think my arms could handle it." said Zane. Taylor giggled as she placed her hand over her mouth.

Zane said,"It isn't that right? Me and my friend Allen had to help the cheerleaders with their shopping as part of initiation. It was a pain.". "No Zane. I can have my family buy me clothes if I needed it. Do you mind showing me around the school tomorrow?" said Taylor. "Yeah. Cypress High isn't the best school in the country but it has some good people. Take my advice. Watch out of the the A list. Most of them are rude people." said Zane.

Taylor said,"I'll keep that in mind. So do you have plans for the rest of the day?". "Beside meeting up with Kane to fuse back together and patrol. I'm good. What's up?" said Zane. "Could I join you on patrol? I think people would like to meet their new protector." said Taylor. "Sure thing Taylor. So are you ready to go? I usually go whenever I feel like." said Zane. Taylor soon nodded as she ran off to her room to get ready with Zane finishing off the pitcher of lemonade.

Meanwhile, Allen, Kane, and Kevin were hanging out at Allen's place. "Dude. Your place kicks ass. I wish I was rich sometimes." said Kevin. "It's nice but I like a cozy place. So do you guys have dates for the dance? Coach finished up practice far earlier than normal because we need a dance or else. I dread to think what he'll do if we don't." said Allen. "I know you're good Zane but the rest of the male population of Cypress High have some trouble." said Kevin.

Kevin looked around as he said,"So what does your dad do Allen? This place is really nice.". "He's an dignitary for a European Country. It's rather small and near England." said Allen. "Boys. Can you come out here for a moment?" said a voice. The three soon walked out onto the terrace to see Blake and Derrick with the latter of the two giving Kane a bad feeling. "We couldn't help but overhearing your conversation." said Blake.

Kevin said,"Sorry about that sir. It won't happen again.". "It's fine Kevin. I don't think either of these two mind." said Kane. "He's right Kevin was it? A real man should be proud of his achievements big or small. So beside the dance, anything else going on in your lives?" said Derrick. "Kevin here has a job working at Cypress Park University with Doctor. Maxwell Brock." said Allen. "Yeah. Zane here is also going as well when he isn't busy with football practice." said Kevin.

Blake said,"You need to have more confidence in yourself boy. This is a big opportunity. That man will change the world with his desire to rebuild people's lives.". The five soon heard,"Price! Your head is mine!". It was Craig and he soon grabbed Derrick's suit with his boots before flying off. "I'll call the police. You boys stay here!" said Blake. He soon ran inside as Kevin whispered,"Have you told Zane?". "He knows and he's heading out to find Derrick." whispered Kane.

Craig looked down at Derrick as he said,"Tell me the truth Derrick. Did you think my jetpack was a bad idea?". The man soon flew around buildings as Derrick said,"Craig. Is that you?". "Craig Quinn is gone. I'm the Cosmonaut!" said Craig. "Good name there Craig. It fits you so well. You look like a rejected...." said Derrick. Craig soon threw Derrick into the air with the man screaming. Craig soon caught Derrick as the man said,"Craig. What will all of this achieve?".

Craig said,"Didn't you tell me that you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. I'll show the world about how my tech propelled humanity into the future! I'll show both you and Conrad what happens when you mess with my future! You'll give me Champion Tech! I'll also want Legion Zero's head on a silver platter for stealing my stuff!". "You can threaten my life all you want but that child is a hero and I won't let you hurt him." said Derrick. Craig flew higher up before dropping Derrick.

The billionaire was flying toward the ground before he was caught by Zane in costume. "Man. You guys play some serious Russian Roulette!" said Zane. The teen was flying as Craig said,"You! I was going to save you for last child but you'll die now!". He flew toward Zane as the teen said,"So what has him so hot and bothered?". "Put me down now Zero before you drop me." said Derrick. "I won't drop you Mr. Price. You're far too rich to be a street pizza." said Zane.

Cole said,"And he's Vicky's dad's boss is another major and important reason. So what are you going to do when Taylor finds out you ditched her?". "Kane had a reason for taking you away." said Sivarth as Zane soon bounced off the walls of a nearby building. Derrick noticed that upon touching the walls, Zane's legs were soon covered in dark purple metallic scales with a spiral pattern to it. He jumped off as it caused a small shockwave around the area where he jumped.

Derrick thought,"Huh. This is a new power but he has grown a lot in the past two years.". "Let him go so I can kill you both!" yelled Craig. "Yeah. I'll surely trust the nut job wearing a robotic suit. I'm not an C plus student you know." said Zane. The two flew around the city for a couple of minutes before Craig fired an energy blast from his left gauntlet. It somewhat caught Zane off guard as he dropped Derrick. Zane rushed after Derrick as Craig smiled from above.

Below them, it was the Cypress Park's Police Station. Tony walked out alongside his partner Ramona Kennedy who didn't change. "It's a good thing we have so many protectors." said Tony. "Yeah but it makes things so boring." said Ramona. "True." said Tony. He looked at her as he said,"Hey. Could I ask you a question?". "What is it Tony? I'm just happy you're not like the other guys who would ask me out." said Ramona. The two soon heard,"Hey Officers! I got an present for you!".

The two turned to see Zane ,who had caught the billionaire just before he became street pizza, and turning his left arm into candy syrup. Zane's hand stuck itself to a nearby building as Zane dropped Derrick onto the ground. Tony soon saw Craig flying toward them before the man was kicked back by Zane. "I'll handle the rejected Agent Phoenix." said Zane. He soon turned into Turbo Form as he said,"Turbo!". He flew after Craig as the three humans watched them leave.

Ramona said,"What's going on Mr. Price?". "I was held hostage by a maniac but Zero saved me. This is the short story. I'll explain in detail once we're inside." said Derrick. The three went inside as Zane caught up with Craig. "Listen here buddy. I don't know what your obsession with Mr. Price is all about but holding him hostage isn't the way to do it. Just sue him. I mean every other American does it to solve their problems so you should too." said Zane.

Craig said,"You're really annoying up close! Get out of my way!". He flew off as Zane stood there. "I will have my revenge on you all!" echoed Craig. Zane tilted his head as he said,"Yep. I have a new enemy. Fantastic. My rogue gallery is already big enough. Turbo!". Zane flew off to meet back with Taylor and hopefully, she won't kill him for abandoning her. However, Zane knows his luck so he's been mentally preparing himself.

Later, Kevin and Zane ,who met up with Kane to fuse back together, were at Cypress Park University with Zane on his phone. "Listen Taylor. I'm sorry for abandoning you to fight that super villain. Kane just sounded really serious and I rather not piss off the species whose known for killing people and taking their souls. Look, I'll talk to you later and I promise to be there for you tomorrow." said Zane as he hanged up. "Trouble in paradise?" said Kevin.

Zane said,"Yeah. So are you excited about your first job which you're mostly likely not getting payed for?". "Yes Zane. Your partner made it clear that this is a big chance for me and I can upgraded my tech without stealing it." said Kevin. "I still can't believe you were stealing under my watchful eyes Kevin." said Zane. The two walked past Karen as they were in front of the lab. "We'll talk about this later man. We made Karen mad and she's giving us the look." said Kevin.

Karen rolled her eyes as she said,"I was so not giving you guys the look and you're not late. We're on time.". "Yeah Kevin. I've been her friend for longer and I know the look pretty well." said Zane. The multi-hair teen opened the door as the trio heard,"Took you guys long enough.". Andre stood there as Karen said,"Andre!". She hugged him as Andre said,"I guess you haven't seen me or Selena since the graduation party. Good to see you again and not being chased by a super villain.".

Zane said while ignoring the fact that Karen was hugging Andre,"Yeah. So what are you doing here man? I thought you would be at the paper with your girlfriend.". "Have you asked her out yet?" said Karen as she let go. "Not yet bro. I'm waiting for the right time. I'm basically the personal assistant to Maxwell Brock and Sharon Matthews. Those two are old friends and Sharon herself has quite the smart kid. It's still weird to see you on the football team man." said Andre.

Kevin said,"Join the club Andre.". "Yeah. It's nice being here at college. I really hope Hannah doesn't bring the A-list crap with her when she comes here with David. Those two are still together right? My brother doesn't tell me much." said Andre. "Yeah. I've tried to convince David otherwise but he's very concerned about his parent's livelihood." said Zane. "Whatever man. Hey Doctor. Matthews. I would like to meet you Karen Castro, Kevin Wallace, and Zane Alvarez." said Andre.

Zane soon saw a beautiful woman walking toward them. She has long dark blue hair and green eyes with a slight tan to her. She's wearing a white lab coat with a gray undershirt, green semi-leggings pants, and flat white shoes with pink stripes. She has a blue headband at the back of her head and around her neck, she's wearing a silver necklace with a flower pendant. She also has red triangular earrings.

Sharon said,"It's nice to meet you two. Andre has told us great things about both of you.". "Don't even try it bro. She's in love with Doctor. Brock." whispered Andre to Kevin. "I wasn't planning on it Andre." said Kevin. Karen rolled her eyes at the conversation with Zane smiling. Nearby, Maxwell was working on a experiment as he heard,"Max! Come out here and meet the new interns!". "Coming Sharon!" said Maxwell as he left his office. The man stood there as Zane thought,"He seems off.".

Kane said,"I guess he must be tired or something.". Zane shrugged as Sharon said,"I'm sure you know Doctor. Maxwell Brock by now. He's one of the main people behind the power hampering cuffs that most of our town's many super villains wear.". "Yeah. I sure know about them." said Karen. "I won't have you two working overboard on your first day. Andre will show you around the lab while I have a word with Zane about something." said Sharon.

Karen looked at Zane who held up his arms in defense. "It's nothing important. I just need to ask him to deliver a message to Natasha for me." said Sharon. The trio of Andre, Karen, and Kevin left as the woman said,"So do you mind asking your mother if she could pick up Dennis some day? I know that he and Atem are friends so....". "It's fine Doctor. M. She won't mind at all. So got any crazy experiments going on?" said Zane. "Not today." said Max as he looked at Kevin and Andre talking.

Later that night and outside of Derrick's Apartment, the billionaire was in his limo. "Is it clear?" said Derrick. The body guard nodded as he began helping Derrick out. "Price!" echoed Craig's voice. The bodyguard pushed Derrick back in as the billionaire said,"Go now!". The driver drove off as Craig flew about the limo. "You're not leaving my sights again!" said Craig. Zane ,in Frost Form, nodded as he thought,"He took the bait. Hook, line, and sinker.". The bug ,while invisible, soon followed them.

However, the teen was being followed by an attack helicopter driven by Cryonic. "Target has been sited at last known location. Men, it's time for us to get the prize." said Cryonic to his partners. The three of them were wearing the same black suit with goggles. Back with Craig, his gauntlets soon sprouted claws that were on fire. "You're mine!" said Craig. "That will not happen today or every robot boy." said Zane.

The cybernetic villain soon turned around to see Zane ,in Frost From, about to kick him being that he evade the attack. "You're not escaping me this time." said Zane. He breathed out frost being that it soon turned into a rope that was tied around Craig's right leg. "Let me go you overgrown windshield bug!" said Craig. The man tried to shake Zane off but Zane stayed on. "You really need to work on your comebacks. They're not winning awards here but I have no reason to talk." said Zane.

The two traveled across the city with the helicopter following them. "This may be the strangest job in our lives boys. We're now working with the freakshow. I'm not sure why he's after that mechanical chicken but it's keeping the kid distracted. Target locked." said Cryonic. He pressed a button on the joystick with one of the guns fired out a bullet. Crisis Judgement went off as Zane turned. "Who could it be now?" said Zane.

He soon saw that he was about to be captured by a net as he let go. The bug was soon caught by it as Craig smiled. "I got rid of the pest for now." said Craig. He flew off as Zane tried to break out. "You can't phase through it so try freezing it." said Athena. "And please do it before you become street pizza." said Cole. Zane soon froze the net, which broke it upon hitting a helipad. Zane shook his head as he said,"Okay. I think this night just went from bad to worse.".

Cryonic said,"Okay. Atlas and Elegant. You boys are up.". The two from earlier soon jumped out of the helicopter as Zane looked at the two. "Okay. You two are normal." said Zane. Elegant ,aka the smaller one, jumped toward Zane who was prepared to dodge it. The man went right through Zane as the bug was soon grabbed by Atlas. "Your grip rivals bears you know!" said Zane. Elegant soon made an extendable pipe appear as he rushed toward them.

Zane breathed cold air right into Atlas's face as the man shivered. Zane phased out of his grip and he threw a ball of ice toward Elegant. His pipe soon ignited as he swiped away the ice. "Okay. You two are better than the average street punk." said Zane. He soon fired several balls of ice at Elegant who either dodged them or swiped them away. He soon kicked Zane into the air as Crisis Judgement went off. He soon fire out a massive blizzard being that Atlas was soon frozen.

However, this lasted for a few seconds being that the man broke out of it. "Well, I guess this cold never really bothered you huh?" said Zane. Atlas soon swiped at Zane, which caused the teen to jump back. Elegant walked toward Zane with him swinging the pipe around him generating heat. The teen walked back from the two as Cryonic aimed a turret at him. Zane soon phased through an energy beam with Cryonic's voice saying,"Nothing personal kid but work is work after all.".

Zane said,"Okay then. Who the heck are you guys? I'm guessing you're not the rejected ninjas from a secret group of assassins.". While Zane was being kept busy, Derrick was trying to relax in his limo."I think we...." said the driver. The roof of the car soon started to open up with Craig trying to break in. "Never say that again or you're fired." said Derrick. Back with Zane, he was currently dodging his enemies's attacks being that Elegant was trying to hit with his pipe.

Sivarth said,"Switch forms already! Frost Form ain't cutting it!". "You're right about that. He isn't cutting it but Frost Prime can!" said Cole. "Are you serious? You're using a prime form on these guys?" said Kane. "Their suits can take a high amount of damage, either through physical force or elemental. Zane's Frost Prime can handle the job." said Athena. Kane rolled his eyes at her response with Zane saying to them,"I got it you two! Just fighting!".

While Zane's A.I.s bickered with each other much to the annoyance of the others, the Tremendous began watching Zane's body glow bright purple. "Frost Prime!" said Zane. Zane was now twelve feet tall. His body is now a metal like exoskeleton. He still has four wings being that they were now colored like the Aurora Borealis. The inside of the wings were living and organic plasma like energy with them currently out in the open. 

If Zane wasn't flying, Zane would have them cover his body and making him look like an assassin or ninja. His third eye moved toward his forehead with it staying close. His face is now covered by a gray metal plate with the metal plates glass lenses exposing his now snow white ,with crimson red pupils, eyes. His mouth is a crimson red grill plate with frost coming out of it. His mask didn't show his cheeks but he lost his rosy red cheeks.

The inside of Zane's mouth is organic plasma like energy but it looked like his naturally snow white teeth. His body was still creating frost with it still primarily focused on his forearms and shins. Zane's body now has bursts of fire coming off it as well. His body ,mainly his abdomen, chest, face, and neck, is still a black color with his ankles, armpits, arms, legs, and shoulders now being crimson red. He has five pointed fingers ,missing his thumbs with one finger working as his thumb, and toes.

They are now scarlet red with fire and frost coming off them. His body markings were gone and his right arm is now a cannon. Thomas's eyes widened at this new form since he heard about the Prime Forms but didn't expect it to ever see one being used against him. "You guys are so going down so don't be too salty about losing me." said Zane in a more gravelly and deeper voice as Elegant rushed toward him.

Zane ducked under his kick and he released a massive stream of ice right at the man using his cannon arm. The man was covered in a massive ice block. Instead of feeling cold, Elegant felt hot. Zane threw the block toward Atlas and it didn't break upon contact. "Sorry you guys but I have to go save the millionaire from his pissed off killer which happens more than you think. See you guys later." said Zane. 

The hero flew off as Atlas grabbed Zane with a single leap. The two were falling toward the ground as Zane said,"You're stronger than a normal human big guys but your strength means nothing in the air and also I can do this.". Zane phased through Atlas as the man roared out in pain. "Oh yeah. I forget that I can burn things when I go through them. My bad big guy." said Zane. Zane made an ice construct of an cage and he fused it to a the wall using his breath. 

Atlas tried to break out of it but Zane stopped him. "Here's some advice big guy. You really don't want to become street pizza. I mean if you want to, I'm not going to stop you but you just try to live instead of trying to kill me. How about you just stay here like a good guy or else, you'll die plain and simple." said Zane as he flew off. "You do know that you're making the Tremendous look bad right bug?" said Cryonic's voice as he watched his men fail at trying to defeat Zane.

Craig finished ripping the roof off the limo as he said,"Say that I was right or else!". Derrick dodged his punches with him saying,"Never!". The man soon noticed one of the doors being ripped off as Zane floated in. "Wow. I have to say that riding around town in a limo is pretty nice. So is the sunroof new Derrick or what?". Zane slammed into Craig with him leaving behind a cold and hot feeling. "Why are you defending him? He's an evil man!" said Craig.

Zane said,"He may be part of the one percent but you're the guy trying to kill him so I pick his side for right now!". Zane flew after Craig with Cryonic firing at him. "Okay. These guys are new. I need to get rid of them both." thought Zane. Craig was about to fire an energy blast at the limo with Zane swooping in, stopping it. "Lets go! Time to fly!" said Zane. The man tried to shake him as Derrick said,"Pull into that parking garage!".

The driver pulled in as Craig screamed. "You will die!" yelled Craig. He flew after Zane who went invisible. "I know you're here!" said Craig. Zane soon flew up a building as he had both Craig and the pilot's attention. "Time to take out both pains in the sky with a single move." said Zane. He soon made an ice copy of himself being that Craig destroyed it. "Yes!" said Craig. The man was soon shocked to see that he was being dragged over to the rotor of the helicopter by something.

Zane reappeared as he said,"Surprise robot boy!". Zane used the rotor to slice one of Craig's wings as Cryonic was forced to park somewhere. "You idiot! You ruined my wing!" said Craig. "But you're still flying. It's sad to see me break your new toy but you tried to kill someone. Karma is a bitch isn't it?" said Zane. He slammed his right cannon into the back of Craig's suit and he fired a huge blast of fire, causing an explosion.

Craig was flying toward the ground and he was soon captured in a ice themed cocoon by Zane. Zane heard police sirens as he said,"Once the cops captured you robot boy, tell them about the little ninja and mute giant on the top of the building at 6th for me. You're a true pal." said Zane as he flew off. He soon found the helicopter and the bug found that it was empty. "Well, I got a 75%. This has been a weird day that's for sure." said Zane as he flew off.

Later, Zane was invisible and in front of his house. He looked through his bedroom window to see his mother waiting for him on her bed. "This day is going from slightly okay to meh." said Zane. He flew to the front of his house as he soon turned back to his normal self. He soon opened the front door and he soon tried to sneak in. However, he was soon caught by his mother. "Mom! You're up and he is not in the lab." said Zane. "Sit down Zane. We need to talk." said Natasha.

The two were in the dining room as Natasha said,"Zane. You're a good kid and you're growing up to be a great man that will make both me and your father proud. However, you're still my responsibility until the end of high school. You can't be out all night and work all day. You may be a superhero but you're still a teen. You need to see life as a normal human teen. I'm going to ask you to calm down a little and enjoy life.". 'That sounds fair mom. Got anything to eat? I'm starving." said Zane.

Natasha said,"You're in luck. Your friend Heidi brought over a chocolate cake for you. She says that Kane did a good job today. I guess Kane's really good at copying you.". "Well, we've been together since I was born so I think he's the best at knowing me. I think even more than Danny does which says a lot." said Zane. Natasha placed a chocolate cake in front of her son and she said,"Zane. It's taking a while for your Galaxy Phones to be fixed.".

Zane looked up at her as he said,"Okay. I'll deal with the loud noises. Take your time mom. You just told me to slow down and I think you need to slow down too.". "Whatever Zane. Just get some sleep okay son?" said Natasha. She kissed his forehead as she headed upstairs. "Zane. Are you going to take her words to heart?" said Sivarth. "Yeah. I don't want her to worry about me. I may be Legion Zero but I'm also Zane Vincent Alvarez." said Zane.

Sivarth nodded as Cole said,"Zane. You have four messages waiting for you. I didn't want to bother you during your fight with that weird trio and robot boy.". "So what is it?" said Zane as he took a bite of the cake. "Taylor is looking forward to her tour with you, Rain is finished with her drama and coming to school very soon, Dawn is coming to Earth so she can see you and be with you as friends by the way player, and Zoey is coming to live with you Zane." said Athena.

Zane stopped eating as he said,"Okay. Say that again but slowly.". Kane began laughing at Zane who said,"God! I find this so dam funny!". "Zane. I feel bad for you at least a bit." said Sivarth. Zane rolled his eyes at those two as he sighed. Zane finished off the cake as Cole said,"So are you going to be alright Zane?". "I'll be fine. I guess the Omniverse is giving me this much stuff to deal with to slow me down." said Zane. He soon walked upstairs mainly to get some sleep because he'll need it.
