Zero Episode 96 Electrical Jealous

A/N: This is a weird title to say the least being that this series ,and my writing, are known for having weird titles. It's also obvious about what's going on in this title. I'm sure that by the time this post comes out, two parts of Fairy Legion have passed. I'm sure that I spoiled a couple of Zane's attacks in them. So I have ,mostly likely, posted two posts in the same vein as Zane's Abilities and Powers, but they are for his attacks and spells.

I said this is the post but I like to repeat myself. I do this being I know for a fact that I won't be using over 75% of them. I know that I should really make sure that I do this but I know that I'll constantly do one attack and forget about them. This Episode will show how Zane's love life is being that it'll be shown in Fairy Legion ,a bit later on maybe around the Battle of Fairy Tail Arc or maybe earlier but don't quote on me that.

Lets begin this episode with Zane working on something that involves plot progression and relationship. Yes, these Author Notes are shorter than Fairy Legion which are long. Oh and Buzz isn't a member of Zane's family being that the Alvarez family already has four pets and that's the limit but he's a close friend to the family. You may think Edgar is a pet but as seen, I kinda forgot about him because well, I just forgot.

Narrator P.O.V.

Zane was currently sitting in Cypress Park University or CPU's main lab with him watching Karen who was helping Sharon Matthews with the tank filled with eels. He always admired her dedication toward the field of science. Andre walked up to Zane with him saying,"So Zane, are you and her finally together?". Zane turned to Andre with him saying,"We are. Isn't that right?". Karen glared at him as Andre said,"Are you sure about that?". "Pretty sure. So are you and Selena?" said Zane. 

Andre soon sighed as he said,"I want to be but I have Clair blocking me. She's currently at the Radio Station being that she's stopping by to pick me up for dinner.". "Just tell her to leave you alone if you don't like her. It's the simple and clean answer." said Zane. "I don't have your infamous snark bro plus she doesn't take no for an answer. She can be very rude to others." said Andre. "I understand. You and David are so alike. So what's this for again?" said Zane.

Maxwell walked up to the two as he said,"It's very simple Zane. Before the plant incident, we've been work on a way to prevent an outburst of powers like with Marcus. These eels can hopefully change his DNA back to normal.". "So that's a good thing right?" said Sivarth. Maxwell soon pressed a button with the tank coming out of the wall. "We're about to start the testing phase. Your friend Kristen's brother has offered himself to be our first volunteer." said Sharon.

Zane said,"That's awesome. Kris would love to have her brother back in her life but finding work will be hard given his history. So how do you clean the tanks? It's like the inside of a sewer in there.". "I'm not going to ask how you know that but it's for the eels sake. It's very much like Slime Form." said Andre. "Yes. I asked the young hero for a quick examination of that form in order to create the gunk to help charge them up. We're lucky to have gotten Reggie's support when we did." said Maxwell.

Sharon said,"He's a good man and not at all like most of the rich snobs in this darn town. Maxwell, I need to get Dennis home. It's way past his bedtime.". The trio of teens soon saw a younger and male version of Sharon standing there. He has his mother's hair and eyes with him wearing a dark green long sleeved shirt under a blue t-shirt, red shorts, and brown tennis shoes. "Sorry Sharon. I lost track of time." said Max.

Sharon sighed as she said,"This is something you would normally do Max. I would be shocked if you didn't.". "You and Dennis should go home. I'll be here with Andre until the final preparations for the big test in a couple days." said Maxwell. "Maybe you should think of sending Karen and Zane home. I'm sure someone has date plans." said Sharon, winking at Karen. Zane smirked at this as Karen blushed red. 

Maxwell said,"She's right. Night you two. Don't get into too much trouble.". The four were soon gone as Andre gave a thumbs up to his bro. Outside, Karen and Zane were walking toward Zane's car. "So what's the plan? I mean you did win me from the other girls." said Zane. "Lets see. I texted my dad to tell him that you'll be with me tonight so I'm up for anything. We could get something to eat or maybe patrol." said Karen. 

Zane said,"True. I'm still shocked how calm he was when you told him that you were going to be one of my girlfriends and having super powers. I remember you being so worried about telling him when you went by Sonic.". "Yeah. I don't remember that but I'll believe you." said Karen. He soon held her hand as Karen's face went red. "Don't lie. You've been wanting to do this...." said Zane as his mouth covered by Karen "Shut up Zaney." said Karen. "Will do." said Zane, with a smile.

Back at the lab, Andre was looking at the eels with Maxwell working on a very personal experiment of his. "An! I'm here! Whose up for Shawarma?" said a female voice. Andre loudly groaned as Max saw Andre's "girlfriend" standing there. She's twenty years old with her being very beautiful mainly shown with a fair complexion. She has long golden blonde hair ,with the tips of her hair being blue and the sides of it shaven off, and emerald green eyes. 

She has black ear piercings and red lipstick. She's wearing a striped electric blue blouse, a white leather jacket, black skinny jeans/leggings, and purple high heeled boots. "Ms. Clair Fisher. I'm sorry but I still need Andre for another couple of minutes." said Max as he hid his experiment. "And how much longer will that take?" said Clair, stomping her foot. "Five to ten minutes." said Max. "Can't it be longer?" mumbled Andre. Clair smiled as she wrapped her arm around Andre's.

Clair said,"Okay then. I'll just wait here with An.". "Great." said Andre. As the men continued their experiment, something shook the lab. "Was that an earthquake?" said Clair, squeezing tighter on Andre's arm. "Not exactly." said Maxwell. He messed with the tank for a second as Andre said,"The professor says that the tank sometimes shakes the building. It's rare.". "What if those eel things come out?" said Clair. "They can't survive without a water based environment." said Maxwell.

Andre said,"In other words, you'll be fine.". "Okay!" said Clair. She soon touched the tank with her saying,"So, can these eels help the radio station?". "They can but their main purpose is to help those with super powers control them better. Not everyone is a master." said Maxwell. "Oh." said Clair as she made a face at the eels. Andre sighed and then out of nowhere, the tank slightly broke. The water and eels were broken, causing Clair to be shocked with the two men confused on what happened.

From the rooftop, a shadow figure stood there. It looked to be a male and he was holding a sniper rifle. He soon made the weapon disappear in a puff of smoke as he soon touched the area toward his head. "Mission successful boss but why her? She was annoying from what I gathered but still. We could have picked a better person to be an opponent for him." said the male. "Don't question me. I still have you under my control." said the voice on the other end.

The man shrugged with him saying,"I wasn't boss. I mean she'll be a bother for our favorite hero for choice but there are so many other choices in this city.". "Picking her is part of the plan to revive the Battalion to work for me unlike before. George has gone missing so I can't rely on him. This is your chance to be a real villain unlike you were before. Head to the hospital where they'll be taking her for Phase Two.". said the voice. "Will do." said the man as he was gone with the paramedics returning.

Later at Heartstone Medical Hospital, Clair was being carted into the emergency ward. She was held down with several straps as both paramedics were wearing rubber gloves. Andre and Maxwell were with them as Max said,"This wasn't your fault Andre. Clair will be just fine.". "I know that doc but still, I shouldn't have let her get so close to the tank." said Andre. One of the doctors soon noticed the group with him saying,"Have you check her pulse yet?". 

He was about to touch her but he was soon shocked by a huge burst of electricity. "Put these gloves on Doctor.  There was an accident at the lab. Just like an eel, her body is producing electricity. We need to get her into quarantine stat." said Maxwell. "Okay. Lets move." said the doctor. Andre stood there as he watched Clair being taken deeper into the hospital. He sighed as his phone rang. He soon answered it and he said,"Hey. It's me. She'll be fine. I hope.".

The next day, Zane was currently in the middle of downtown Cypress Park and was currently chasing after a trio of villains who had just robbed a store. These villains consisted of Crash ,who seemed to be the leader of the ensemble, Titan, and a new villain who went by the name Cleaver. He looked to be around his fellow villain's age or older. He looks to be a humanoid reptile, looking like a human alligator or lizard. He has long and slicked back light purple hair and slitted red eyes.

His skin is very much covered in light blue scales. His torso is very defined, having prominent abdominal muscles. He's wearing white, tattered bandages around both of his arms ,working as sleeves and exposes his scales, with him also wearing black ,spiked, wristbands. He's wearing black pants with a brown belt with a cleaver-shaped belt buckle, and black spiked boots ,that went to his knees and there was a noticeable spike there, with spurs.

Cleaver said,"So why the hell aren't we going after him again? We have the numbers.". "Because that isn't part of the plan dipshitty." said Crash whose backpack fired missiles at Zane. Zane's body soon took all of the missiles with him saying,"But that's your usually plan Crash. I'm hurt that you guys aren't fighting me.". Zane soon threw the missiles high into the air and they exploded without anyone getting hurt.

Titan growled with him saying,"New guy! You and the pipsqueak, get to the station. I'll handle Zero.". He threw his bag toward the duo, who barely caught it. Titan soon grew to twenty feet tall with Zane ignoring him due to him pay more attention to the duo of Cleaver and Crash who were running away. "You're going to get squashed Zit!" said Titan. "Wow. He's using one of Brad's insults." said Sivarth.

He was about to punch Zane with the teen saying, "I was going to ask to give up and come with me jail but you're not for the easy way. You're more of a masochist than I thought." said Zane. Titan's punch went right through Zane much to the shock of Titan. This is due Zane going intangible. "Time for a Sweet Gong!" said Zane as his neck soon stretched and this also sent his head back. Titan was confused by this action being that he soon figured it out.

Zane's head soon slammed right into Titan's solar plexus, which sent his eyes rolling back into his head. The giant was about to fall over onto some innocent people with Zane saying,"I'm sure you would be a challenge for the girls but you aren't at my level.". Zane soon focus Nether ,being Green, into his hands being that he soon made a pair of giant hands and they held Titan. He soon placed the giant down on the sidewalks as Titan's body shrunk.

As Zane was currently placing Titan in his candy syrup, Cole said,"I wonder why these three decided to rob a jewelry store? I mean this isn't their usual M.O. at all". "They're most likely working for someone. So did you track down his partners in crime?" said Athena. "Yeah Athena. I'm heading after them right now." said Zane. He soon turned into Eagle Form and he flew into the air. He soon found the two heading toward the nearby monorail station.

This was recently built according to Karen being that the two took it home after their date. He soon flew down toward them with Cleaver said,"Seriously?! We left him alone for five minutes!". "Use these nimrods as hostage!" said Crash. Before Cleaver could grab someone to use as one, he was soon blasted by an energy shaped fireball. The crowd soon ran away as Crash said,"Defeat that idiot Cleaver while I get away!". The leader was gone as Zane soon landed.

Zane said,"So why are you working with these two idiots? I mean you're new to the whole villain scene right? You could be work with normal humans being that you would be their leader but you work with those two idiots instead.". "I may be a newbie compared to my seniors but I'm on a way other level." said Cleaver. Crisis Judgement went off as Cleaver soon produced several blades from his hands and mouth. "That's a sharp power and his name makes sense!" said Cole.

Athena slapped him as Zane dodged most of them by jumping back. He soon flapped his wings and this created two tornadoes. Cleaver was soon pushed a bit back from the duo as the blades soon went back into Cleaver. "Man! You're so much stronger than I could ever be!" said Cleaver. "Thanks I think?" said Zane. Cleaver soon ran toward Zane, being that he was soon grabbed by the bird. He soon threw the reptile into the air with Zane flying after him.        

The reptile saw that Zane's right arm was cocked back with Zane soon firing a punch right into the reptile's stomach. "His punch was like a pistol!" thought Cleaver. He soon went crashing into the ground as Zane landed. Zane deactivated the form with him saying,"Get stronger kid. You'll need it to succeed in this world.". He soon ran into the station with him looking for Crash. "Okay. Where did that little twerp go?" said Sivarth.

Zane shrugged with him hearing,"Hey Zit Face! Are you looking for me?". Zane looked around and he said,"Okay. Where is the broadcast room?". "I'm not here dipshit!" said Crash's voice. Crisis Judgement went off as a monorail soon went rushing past him. "You may be thinking why is this train is going so fast? Well, I currently messed with the train's breaks and engine since I'm a genius and made it go so fast that you'll never catch me or the train loser!" said Crash's voice.

Zane sighed as he said,"Man, this is going to be too easy.". "Zane. The train is currently heading to the dead end over by the beach. We need to get going." said Athena. "I got it. Electron Tempo!" said Zane, as his body was covered in his unique electricity color. Zane's hair soon looked like when you touch a Plasma Globe. He soon jumped onto the tracks with him saying,"Three, two, one! Go!". He soon rushed off, leaving behind a puff of smoke and static.

Zane soon found the train with Crash standing on top of it. "Hey shortie!" said Zane. Crash turned to see Zane coming toward them as he said,"Die!!!". He soon fired several missiles at Zane but much to his shock, the electricity around Zane soon caught them. "People send precious time on this so I won't let you break it!" said Zane. The missiles soon went into the air and exploded. Crash soon noticed that Zane was gone but he heard,"Time for a Vanish Strike!".

Zane soon round housed Crash into the air being that he disappeared from Crash's sight. Crash was unable to move being that Zane was right behind him. He soon smashed him with both of his elbows and right into the train. The people inside were scared as Zane looked at the unconscious Crash. "I do wish I had a normal afternoon someday. It does beat rush hour that's for sure." said Zane, as he soon deactivated Electron Tempo and trapped Crash in the same prison as Titan.

Cole said,"We have a train to stop Zane! Crash broke the breaks and engine!". Zane soon looked in front of him as he saw that they were about to reach the end of the track. "Okay. This is going to be a problem." said Zane. He soon jumped in front of the train with the conductor saying,"Zero! That little troll made us unable to stop up and we'll be meeting our untimely end!". "I got a plan! Tell everyone to stay back and hang on tight!" said Zane. "You heard him folks!" said the conductor.

Zane soon looked down at the tracks with him creating several giant hands from his body being that he soon slammed them into the tracks. He soon began trying to stop the tracks and pieces of wood flew right into him. "Okay. I'm happy that I trained my body to its peak!" thought Zane. "This isn't working Zane! Try something else!" said Sivarth. "I can do without the sass! I got it." said Zane as Lucifer appeared and sprouted around Zane.

The guardian soon held the train back with the train soon slowed down. The train soon stopped with the people inside cheering for Zane. Lucifer was gone as Zane sat down on the train. "Okay. This was a workout and I'm totally going to be late for Physics." said Zane. "You could have Kane there." said Athena. "Well yeah but I like hanging out with my friends during lunch but work is something." said Zane. Zane soon ripped open the door and the people soon looked at him.

Zane said in a conductor voice,"Due to the annoying troll, we had to make an unforeseen stop. I do hope you continue to enjoy your time in Cypress Park.". He soon made an giant Rainbow Nether Slide as he said,"Time to go down the slide.". The people soon went down the slide as Zane said to himself,"I love this job but still...". After making sure everyone was off the train and getting some thank you hugs and kiss from some attractive women and older women, Zane soon flew off.

He soon made it toward the school with him hearing the five minute bell. "Thank the gods! They're giving me a break." said Zane. "You do know that your mates were mostly likely watching your train rescue and your reward right? They'll kill you." said Cole. Zane's face soon paled with him saying,"I hate you Omniverse.". He soon turning intangible being that he phased through the building and he soon found himself in the janitor's closet. He deactivated his costume with him leaving the room. 

He was heading toward his class with Kane saying,"Sorry I was asleep during that whole mess partner. So Zane, have you been noticed something strange?". "What do you mean? I mean I'm still trying to control Electromagnetic Skin but that's it." said Zane as he opened his locker. He soon held his notebook ,that was for personal uses, as Kane said,"Not that idiot. I'm sure that you've noticed the strange webbing around the house and training grounds lately.".

Zane soon walked toward his class as he said,"Honestly Kane, I have no idea but right now, I don't care. I'm just hoping that the girls don't kill me for that.". "They should know that Legion Zero isn't dating anyone and you love them." said Athena. "Yeah but you know that girls get crazy jealous just like that." said Cole. "Can I?" said Zane. "Sure." said Kane and Sivarth. Zane soon hit his watch as Cole was slapped. Zane soon entered the classroom.

Back at the hospital, Andre was sitting in the waiting room as he soon saw Maxwell walking away with the professor sighing upon leaving the isolation ward. "Is Clair okay?" said Andre, standing up from his chair. "She'll be fine being that it was nothing less than a miracle that she didn't die. Have you been here since last night Andre?" said Max. "Yeah but I need to tell her something before I go home and shower." said Andre. "She would like that Andre." said Max.

The two soon reached her room as Max opened the blinds to show Clair. Andre soon saw that Clair's skin is ghostly white. She's wearing a blue jumpsuit with long black gloves and boots. The jumpsuit had a noticeable hood being that it covered her face being that she was wearing black goggles with yellow lenses. She has silver bracelets over both of her wrists. Her chest had a radio wave symbol on it with a lightning bolt going through it. "Hey Andre." said Clair with a noticeable static to her voice.

Max said,"Clair's body is now producing its own bio-electricity and well, she has to wear that suit for the rest of her life. Unlike eels, her body doesn't have its own natural conductor. This will protect him from hurting others around her.". Clair looked at Max who said,"I promise you Clair. We'll get right on helping you get better I promise.". "It's the least that you can do for me after you ruined my life Professor." said Clair. The two soon left the room, leaving Clair to stir in anger.

Zane was walking out to his car when he heard,"Mr. Alvarez!". He soon turned to see Coach Nelson standing there. "Is something wrong coach?" said Zane. "No. I wanted to talk you not as your coach but as a father. Thank you for tutoring my son in History for free." said Virgil. "It's fine coach. So do you need me for practice today? I have a tutoring session today and I told Coach Warren but he hates my guts." said Zane.

Virgil said,"Nope. You're good on practice since I have both you and Allen. We'll win state this year for sure. I just wanted to say thanks. May I ask who you're tutoring?". "Um. Kristen Ortiz and Roxy Parks. I'm going to Kristen's new place right now with Roxy meeting me there and you know how bad traffic can be in this town." said Zane. "Yes. I understand completely. Good luck." said Virgil, as he walked off.

Zane got into his car as Cole said,"Wow. Like father like son, am I right?". "You're not wrong but I can tell that he really does like you and Allen because well, you two are metahuman athletes just like Brad who is kinda one but isn't. Are you sure we shouldn't change his DNA back to normal?" said Sivarth. "He only has enhanced abilities. I doubt he'll be turning into a dragon any time soon but just in case, I'm keeping an close eye on him." said Zane. He soon drove off.

Back at the hospital, Andre sat there with Clair who was currently growling. She threw the remote at the TV ,breaking the remote, as she said,"I can't even watch TV anymore! How could this day get any worse?". "At least, I'm here with you." said Andre. "That's right! So what did you need to talk with me about Andre?" said Clair. She looked at him with Andre saying,"I was thinking maybe after you're cleared to go, we can go get a slice like we did before the accident.".

Clair said,"Seriously Andre? I can't eat solid food anymore! The professor told me that I can only eat electricity now. You know, I didn't want to be like my parents. I got myself to college, I met someone aka you, and look what happened to me.". She was looking over the city as Andre stood up. "Look. I like you Clair but you can't let your emotions take control." said Andre. "You see me as just a friend don't you? Fine, let me show you what I can offer you!" said Clair.

Her suit opened up ,around her hands, as a huge burst of electricity came bursting out of them. Andre covered his eyes as everything that uses electricity exploded or discharged. Andre soon opened his eyes as he heard,"I'm out of here Andre!". He opened his eyes being that she was gone. Andre soon went to the door as he said,"Clair! Wait!". He soon ran out of the hospital and went searching for his friend.

Zane stood outside of a hotel with him saying,"I still can't believe.". Roxy had his left arm as she said,"What Zaney?". "That Kristen's uncle owns this awesome hotel in Cypress Park in the center of the Gordon district. I'm just happy that Christina stopped flirting with me. Speaking of her, I haven't seen her recently." said Zane. Roxy pinched him as she said,"Do you like her Zaney? Because those girls kissed you earlier.".

They were soon in the elevator and heading to the penthouse. "Nope Roxy! I don't. So have you met Kristen's uncle? I've some bad history with the Ortiz family other than Kristen. I never met her folks either." said Zane. "Well, I have. He's a nice guy and way better than Carlos. I don't get what Rachel saw in him." said Roxy. They reached the floor with them walking to the door. "Well, she liked the bad boy just like all girls our age plus folks who are troubled." said Zane.

Roxy said,"I'll have you know that I never liked the bad boy at all.". "But you like me and I'm the baddest boy of all." said Zane. They soon reached the door as Zane knocked politely. "I thought you would knock the door down Mister Bad Boy." said Roxy with a smirk. "Well, I rather not piss off my future uncle in law." said Zane. "So you're thinking of marriage so early Hero boy?" said Roxy. "I already have three kids so marriage isn't that far away at the rate I'm going." said Zane.

The door soon opened with Zane meeting the famous Salvador Ortiz. According to Kristen, he was cool and confident being that in high school, he was the most popular guy. From what Zane knew, he seemed like a stand-up guy being that he was already better than the last Ortiz male he met. The man had a carefree grin being that he looked like an older version of Carlos but with elements that was like Kristen. It was obvious to anyone that he and Kristen were very much family.

He has messy and mopped brown hair and brown eyes.  He also had a trimmed beard and a pair of glasses. He's wearing a light gray shirt with the symbol of some band on the front, light brown pants which were slightly torn, and red tennis shoes. "Oh hey Roxy. Kris is currently in her room. Who is this guy?" said Salvador with him yawning. "This guy owns a hotel? He's dressed like a bum." said Kane as Zane sighed.

Zane said,"This guy is Zane Vincent Alvarez and well, I'm your niece's tutor. Today is our session and I came for a surprise visit Mr. Salvador.". "Really? So you're the Zane kid. I can see why my niece likes you being that you remind me of a young me except without the scars according to my niece. and call me Sal. It makes me feel older than I already am." said Sal. "Thanks. I got my scars from my mistakes and well, I won't get rid of it because it's a reminder of my mistakes." said Zane.

Sal nodded with him saying,"You seem like the serious type but I can tell that you like to joke around. Come on in., I get the princess for you.".  Roxy and Zane stood inside with Zane thinking that this was just the foyer of the suite and surveyed the surroundings. It was two stories with a spiral staircase leading up to a second floor that had a small landing and door. Zane could guess that it was Kristen's room mainly because of the sign hanging there.

In the corner of the main room, there was a kitchen with several modern appliances that made his mom's kitchen looked like it was from the thirties. He could see several paintings of landscapes and an impressive view over the city. He would rank this view third because Taylor's place and his secret base had the better views. Zane could see the large plasma screen TV with the nice looking furniture and he noticed the baby grand piano which was next to the large window with the third best view.

Roxy whispered to Zane,"Did you know that Kristen plays the piano? She told me that when she moved here, she started playing because she missed her Zaney.". "I would love to hear her play but I would be just doing my homework or training my body to its physical peak outside. This view is just incredible but still third compared to Taylor's place and my secret base." said Zane. "Yeah but don't tell Sal that." said Roxy. "Will do." said Zane.

Zane heard Kristen's door open up with Sal stepping up. He walked quickly down the stairs with a shifty grin on his face. "She'll be out in a minute president. I didn't tell her about YOU being here but I tell her about Roxy. She smiles so much when she talks about you and when, I promised my sister and her husband that I would get pictures." said Sal. Zane could tell that Sal really care about his niece but his nephew, he wasn't sure.

Sal said,"So you're planning on traveling after high school? Kristen says that you're really smart and could do anything that you set your mind to Zane.". "Yeah. I do plan on becoming a teacher since I'm apparently good at it according to my students. I'm currently working with Doctor. Brock and Doctor. Matthews at Cypress Park University." said Zane. "And being a football player and student council president. I guess you have a busy as hell schedule." said Sal.

Roxy said,"Zaney does sir but he makes time for his friends and family. He has the most adorable trio of siblings being that they pretty much worship him.". "Yeah. They do. So how did you get this place from under Roland's mitts?" said Zane. "It was hard but I got it through my good looks. I also had help from Reggie Robertson who was in town to visit his friend." said Sal. The door soon opened up and Kristen soon stumbled out, yawning in the process as she stood on the landing.

She's wearing a pair of gray sweatpants and an oversized shirt being that Masquerade's symbol aka her signature mask that she wears. Zane knew about Kristen's secret being that she loved Anime and Comics more than she thought. She was also wearing a large pair of glasses that hanged haphazardly on her nose. She blinked a few times with her eyes focused on her uncle and she sighed. "Sal. You do know how busy I am with school and .......Zaney?!" said Kristen. 

Zane smirked as he said,"Hey there Kris. I dig the shirt. I'm a fan of the heroine myself but I didn't know that the head cheerleader liked her.". Kristen looked down at her clothing with her blushing and then she soon had her hand on her hip and glared at the duo of Roxy and Zane but mainly the latter than the former. "And what are you doing here Zaney? You know I don't like when guys enter my house." said Kristen. "Well, we're getting tutored by him Kris and he is because of that." said Roxy.

Zane said,"I dig your house by the way. I liked your old place but this one ain't bad.". Kristen smiled softly as she said,"Come up to my room, Zaney. We'll study up there.". "And why can't you study out here Kris?" said Sal. "Because of my annoying uncle's teasing." said Kristen. She turned around and slammed the door behind her as she went back inside of her room. "You heard the princess. I think keeping her waiting won't improve your chances." said Sal with a chuckle.

Roxy and Zane soon entered Kristen's room being that it wasn't the stereotypical teenager girl room much to Zane's joy due to his meh toward pink. Her walls were covered by a dark purple color with it covered with posters from several comics and anime. He also saw some posters of some artists being that the only one that he knew Celeste due to his lack of music knowledge. He listened to it thanks to Rachel but he wasn't an expert whatsoever. Above her bed, she had a movie poster.

On her dressers, she had several cheer-leading trophies and metals. He noticed several volumes of manga and comics, with Zane thinking that she had every volume of Masquerade. He saw that she was doing her homework. The girl in question was sitting on her bed ,being that it's a subdued dark blue color, with her legs crossed casually in front of her. Zane looked at her with a smile on his face being that he's seen her in casual wear and her cheerleader uniform.

At school and in life, she was your typical cheerleader being that Zane knew the truth about her due to him being good at reading people. Zane didn't know why he was drawn her and the others girls like a moth to a flame but he was pretty sure that it wasn't because all of them are beautiful on the outside but on the inside. "Wow. This is something else." said Zane. "So how long has he been like this?" said Kristen. "About when we arrived here. He didn't know about your new digs." said Roxy.

Kristen said,"And like I said, I'm sorry but I didn't want you to think bad of me.". "I wouldn't at all Kris. So do you have every volume of Masquerade? That has been going on since my mom was in high school and it's a lot of material." said Zane. "Focus here Zaney. So what do you think of Kris's outfit? I like it." said Roxy. "It's nice. So will I be seeing this once all of us are living together?" said Zane. He soon turned intangible as a pillow went right through him.

Kristen said,"So did you two really come here to study or tease me?". "A little bit of both. I want to make sure that I want to treat all of you the best I can do and that means making sure that you girls pass high school. I would be very much hurt if my first student failed high school." said Zane, with a slight smirk. "Well, you're always busy with study sessions, football practice, patrol, and spending time with your family." said Kristen.

Roxy said,"Yeah. It's not exactly the most easy thing to share a guy who has little free time to begin with.". "Yeah. That's my fault. I'm still human after all. So I know that you girls repeated this to me ad nauseam but I just want to make sure." said Zane. "We like you Zane and thanks to Marcus's weird plant, we all know your secret. I'm still a little mad at you for erasing my memory TWICE but I still like you because of that." said Kristen, pointing to his chest.

Zane said,"Yeah. I just need it to hear that. I'm just happy that you guys aren't fighting over me and well, your other friends aren't ignoring you.". "Well, Hannah is only our friend because we're still popular despite us dating the darkness of Cypress Park. If we ever reveal our relationship, I'm sure that Hannah will side with Sam but Brad. I'm not sure. He's changed." said Roxy. "You girls are so not like me. I mean you're calm about sharing the same guy while I'm freaking out." said Zane.

Kristen said,"Zaney. We all like you for different reasons and I honestly don't mind sharing you due to me knowing that you have a big enough heart for all of us and your kids. You adopted three pretty adorable kids without question just because you didn't want them to become like you. I'm happy to have become your friend and your girlfriend for the third time.". "Actually, it's the second time but I get what you're saying. Those three are something else." said Zane, with a smile.

Kristen got up from her bed with her walking over to him. "I really do like that you came over to meet my uncle Zaney." said Kristen. She soon kissed his left cheek with Zane's face lighting up upon doing that. "Man, your face is so cute when it lights up like that." said Roxy, kissing his right cheek soon after Kristen. "Uh huh." said Kristen. "Ha ha you two. I saw your physics book Kristen and I'm sure you brought yours Roxy. We'll start with that subject first and then onto History." said Zane.

Roxy said,"Seriously? Two subjects?". "Yes. Afterwards, we're going to watch a classic of a movie and you two will enjoy it. Now are you girls ready?" said Zane, with him crossing his arms. "Sure thing Zaney. My science book is over on my desk. We can study up here because I don't want to be a typical cheerleader now don't I?" said Kristen. "Sure thing Princess." said Zane. He enjoyed the time that he spend with the girls.

Meanwhile in an alleyway nearby Havana Brews, Clair reappeared being that she came from a satellite dish. She stretched as she said,"Okay. That was annoying. I may be a freak but being able to travel around the city in minutes is nice. I need a cup of Joe.". She walked toward her favorite coffee shop aka Havana Brews. She's also wearing a noticeable dark brown jacket and blue jeans over her suit being that she still stuck out.

She soon stood in line with the little boy in front of her said to his mother whose hand he was holding tight,"Mommy. What's she wearing?". The mother looked at Clair who said,"Don't stare.". The two were soon gone as Clair walked up to the counter and noticed the employee aka Rain was looking right at her. "What? I'm a paying customer." said Clair. "Um. I was going to ask what you would like miss." said Rain. "Just a cup of Joe okay!" said Clair.

She took a cup with her slamming some money on the counter. She opened the mouth slot to take a drink but her electricity ,which is the normal color, sent the cup flying toward the ground. "I can't fucking take it anymore!" yelled Clair. The lights soon malfunctioned alongside the cash register and everything with electricity exploded. Everyone soon looked at her with her saying,"I'm sorry.". She was gone as she soon ran out of the store.

Rain was about to go after her but she was stopped by Conner. "Let your man handle this. You're still new to your powers. Call him. He'll be here to help that poor girl." said Conner. "Are you sure about this Mr. Pierce?" said Rain. "Yes. I'm sure Zane and her are connected. We should help our customer before they sue." said Conner. Rain watched the man help clean up Clair's mess and she soon opened her phone, with it calling Zane.

Back at Kristen's place, the trio moved into the main living room as Sal was teasing both Kristen and Roxy with Zane being a harsh but kind tutor but he soon had to leave to handle a personal problem involving an anger guest. "Zaney. You do know that I've been studying recently whenever I get free time." said Kristen, closing her history book and staring right at Zane. "I know that but practice makes perfect. We're done for now and now it's movie time." said Zane.

He soon walked over to his bag as Roxy said,"So what movie is it?". "You'll see. You know, I'm just happy that we can have dates with the studying part." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off as he soon turned into air. Another pillow went through him as Roxy said,"Did you really think that would work on him?". Kristen pouted with her saying,"It was worth a try. We may love him but his jokes are just the worst.". "Hey! People love my jokes." said Zane.

Roxy said,"I think you have the word love confused with dislike Zaney. So is this movie the classic romantic comedy Prophecy of Love?". Zane had his face turned away from them being that his face was bright red. "No but we should really see that movie. It's a classic gem of the romantic comedy genre." said Zane. He soon pulled out a DVD as he said,"We should introduce Roxy to the world of Masquerade so lets start with Masquerade and the Midnight Jewel, a good start to the series.".

Kristen soon ran up to him as she said,"Seriously Zane? You can't be serious.". "I'm hundred percent serious Kris." said Zane, with the girl soon taking the DVD from his hand. She soon squealed loudly and had a very big smile on her face as Zane covered his ears from her girlfriend's squeal. "What are you two talking about? I know that Masquerade is your favorite hero so why are you freaking about this movie Kris?" said Roxy, worried about Zane

She was slightly thankful that she didn't have really good hearing like her boyfriend did. "Roxy. We are talking about the objective best animated movie in the Masquerade series. This movie just got dubbed in the US but it hasn't come out legally in the states yet. Zane, tell me something. How did you get this movie? Please tell me that you didn't steal this movie just for me. I'm touched but I rather have you not stealing things just to make me happy." said Kristen.

Zane said,"I didn't steal this movie Kristen. Remember early when I had to stop the terrible trio of Cleaver, Crunch, and Titan.". "Yeah. You were doing an amazing job before those tramps kissed and hugged you." said Roxy. "In my defense, I'm not a hero because I want to pick up chicks and be the coolest hero. I do it to protect others. Anyway, I got a copy of the movie as thanks. I told the civilian that I don't need a reward for saving people but he was rather insistent on it." said Zane.

Kristen said,"Wow Zane. You're really something. I know that you said that you were going to travel around the Omniverse after high school but you really should think of going into being a teacher. I'm not forcing you to pick an occupation so you can stay here but just think about it. You're really good at teaching both in academics and training people how to use their powers.". "I'll keep that in mind Kris. So Roxy, are you ready to begin the experience of Masquerade?" said Zane.

Kristen said,"We should warn you that this comic is far more intense than most comics that come out these days.". "Sure. I mean it sounds interesting but it isn't like most comics right?" said Roxy. "Not at all. It does have fanservice but for both genders." said Kristen. Zane soon walked toward the DVD player and just before Zane could put the DVD in, Zane's phone went off. Kristen groaned with Roxy saying,"So does your phone always go off when something is about to happen?".

Zane said,"Honestly, the Omniverse loves to fuck with me Roxy. I'll answer it in the kitchen and get us some snacks so we can truly enjoy the movie in style.". "Well hurry up Zaney. I can't wait to see this movie because I don't like to watch movies illegally." said Kristen. "I'll be right back then so I don't make you miss the movie." said Zane. He soon walked toward the kitchen with him gaining a noticeably angry look upon answering the call.

He had his back turned to the girls being that they couldn't see his face. The caller was Rain with her texting him about a metahuman who caused most of the technology inside of Havana Brews to short circuited just because she didn't get her coffee. "Are you okay Rain? Did she hurt you or Conner at all with her electricity?" said Zane, with anger and fear lacing his voice. He was currently making snacks while he was talking to her.

Rain said,"We're fine Zane. Mr. Pierce is strong but you know that and you've seen what I can do during our training. Don't worry okay?". "Rain. This girl doesn't sound like your normal street punk at all. She has powers like us but has no control of them. I'm the town's protector of you and everyone who can't defend themselves from the supernatural. So did you happen to see which way she was going?" said Zane. "Toward the ice rink." said Rain.

Zane smiled as he said,"Thanks Rain. I'll call you after I take care of the living bug zapper.". Zane soon hanged up being that he looked to see both girls talking. He soon walked into the living room as he placed the bowls of popcorn and drinks down. "I hate to be an asshole but I have to get going. We have a problem and well......." said Zane, whose voice sound really sad while staring at the girls. The two girls looked at each other with Roxy saying,"You should get going. Cypress Park needs you.".

Zane said,"Yeah but I could ask Kurt or Lucius to handle it because I want to watch the movie with you girls more.". "I'm sure you do but you would probably have Kane stay behind and well, Kane isn't the guy we like. I mean we're still watching the movie without you because Roxy needs to see this movie." said Kristen. "Wow. I'm hurt and Kane can do a pretty good me impression." said Zane as he crossed him and did a pout.

Roxy said,"Well after you're done being our favorite superhero Zane, you should come back and if you need help, don't be scared to ask for help.". Her voice was smaller than normal. "Yeah. I'll be back here I promise and I'll call you girls if I need help. I promise." said Zane. He waved briefly with him having a massive smirk on his face. He loved his life and he would fight to his death in order to protect this life. 

A few moments passed for the girls as the two sat there. Both of them could just melt if they wanted to but the truth of the matter is that they wanted Zane to stay with them but they both knew that Zane really liked being Legion Zero. Kristen never imagined that she would be in a relationship where the guy ,that she liked, was also liked by several girls and was willing to share him. It was almost funny how fate could be but she didn't care.

Roxy didn't know why she loved Zane being that she always admired him for being the only one to stand up for the little guy being that she wanted to be with him because of that. Over time, she got to know Zane. She liked being that Zane didn't like her just because she was hot but for the person for she was underneath. She was at peace and happy whenever he was around her. The two girls were wrapped in their thoughts being that Sal walked through the front door and got their attention.

Sal said,"So that's the Zane Alvarez? He's something else but I can see why you girls both like him so much.". "Yeah. He isn't well liked by most of the popular kids." said Kristen. "So? I wasn't well liked by the popular kids back in the day being that I had a couple of good pals and that's all I really needed in my life. I can see a lot of myself in Zane." said Sal. "So Sal, you've been to our school and was it just like it was for you back in the day?" said Roxy.

Sal sighed as he said,"Yes and no. I mean you kids are more vocal about your opinion and don't push the little guy down most of the time. The A-list don't figure out that they made the wrong choice until college or later on in life. I'm happy that you girls aren't like how I and my friends were back in the day.". "But uncle, didn't you tell me that you were dating supermodels when you were back in high schools?" said Kristen.

Sal smiled as he said,"Yeah I did but do you see one wrapped around my arm like Roxy was when I saw you and Zane earlier. Those type of relationships don't last. I have some experience.". "Really? I want to know." said Roxy. "I was forced to be partnered with this total nerd in my freshman bio class and well, she was the definition of geekette. I truly fell for her hard and well, we couldn't connect. It didn't work out." said Sal.

Kristen said,"Well, what do you think of him?". "As a future member of our messed up family, he would fit well but I doubt your friend won't give him up so easily." said Sal. "Well, it's a bit more complicated than that." said Roxy. The three were quiet being that was an awkward silence. "So what movie are you girls about to see?" said Sal. "Masquerade and the Midnight Jewel. Do you want to watch it with us?" said Kristen.

Sal said,"Sure thing niece and if you're going to wow him, you may want to wear something else than that. It's cute but I doubt Zane would like you in that.". "You have a point but that can wait until after the movie." said Kristen. She started the movie with Roxy and Sal looking at her. "She really likes Masquerade." said Sal. "I've noticed and I'm sure that your niece has a plan." said Roxy. "I wouldn't put it past her." said Sal, with a smile.

Zane was currently in costume being that he was running in the air at a pace that wasn't his normal pace. He usually just went around the city of Cypress Park until he either heard something or Athena told him about a crime. Currently, he was looking for the poor person who didn't know how to control her powers and that's a problem since he knew that she didn't know how to control her powers. Zane soon looked down to see someone pushing her way through a crowd.

Kane said,"I think we found her Zane. You know what to do.". "Yeah. I won't hurt her because from what Rain told me, she's an electrokinetic." said Zane. "You're perfect for the job since you have Sweet Reaction that negates electricity like rubber does. Clever." said Sivarth. "Yeah. Get ready you guys." said Zane. He soon floated down with Cole saying,"So did you really want to fight this electricity chick?". "I don't want another Carlos in my rogues gallery Cole." said Zane.

Clair was soon pushing her way through the crowd with her saying,"Out of the way you dam normal bastards!". She soon tripped over some bottles with her saying,"Just leave me....". She was grabbed by a giant turquoise candy syrup hand and sent flying in the air. She soon found herself held in place by a giant candy syrup spider web. She tried to move but thanks to the sticky material, she couldn't move an inch.

She heard,"Okay Sparky. You and I need to have a little chat about your powers.". She turned to see Zane standing in the air with him saying,"You may be thinking that your life is over just because you have these powers but this is just the start of your life. Now how about we calm down and talk? There is a place that can help you......". "I don't need anyone's help again!" yelled Clair. Her hood soon went back, revealing her face to Zane who was shocked. Pun not intended.

It was still Clair but she was living electricity. Her hair is now yellow ,with a noticeable green tint to it, and it's living and moving. Her eyes are white. "Put me down!" yelled Clair. She soon released a lot of electricity with the candy syrup releasing her. She landed on the ground with Zane following suit. The crowd was soon gone as Clair said,"You really shouldn't have pissed me off kid. I liked you but now, I'll fry you!".

Zane soon dodged several blasts of electricity with the surrounding area around them being destroyed in the process. "Why are you here?! Shouldn't you be focused on villains like..... I don't know!" said Clair, as she walked toward him. She soon threw punches toward him with Zane saying,"Listen. I'm not here to fight. I'm here to....". "Fry!" said Clair. She threw a massive electricity fist at Zane who said,"Help you.".

Zane's body soon expanded in size with him saying,"Sweet Rupture!". The fist went right into Zane as the giant ball held the fist. Zane soon aimed the fist into the air with Clair firing several bolts right at him. "She does know that her attacks aren't working right?" said Athena, as she watched the 16th bolt bounce off Zane's body. Zane deflated with him saying,"Okay Voltaire. Time for a taste of some medicine! Zenith Sphere!".

He soon charged up one of his signature attacks aka an emerald green ,with a obsidian black tint, fire sphere and threw it right at Voltaire. She made an electricity force-field with the fireball not hitting her at all. "Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" yelled Clair. She soon haphazardly released her powers being that Zane jumped around her with him making sure that no one was shocked. Zane soon jumped toward her with Clair having an electricity force field around her.

Zane said,"I'm sorry about this but Sweet Ride!". Zane soon stretched his right leg outwards and he soon sent it forward to kick Clair back a couple of feet. Clair soon found herself once again trapped in the candy syrup and she broke out of it. "If you leave me alone, I won't fry you!" yelled Clair. The teen soon dodged the woman's attack when his phone rang. "It's your mommy." said Cole. "Put her on speaker and make sure that Clair doesn't hear it." said Zane. "Gotcha." said Athena.

Zane soon heard,"Zane. Are you okay?". "Yep mom. I'm just peachy. Are the kids in bed? I'm going to be late home tonight. I got plans with Kris and Roxy." said Zane. "Yes and they're expected a good morning hug when you get home. So how was Kristen's uncle and how is the tutoring going? I know that you're a smart young man but you have your father's libido." said Natasha. During this, Zane was dodging Clair's attacks being that he soon hid behind a billboard for Champion Tech.

Zane said with his face bright red,"It's going good mom and I don't have dad's libido. Could we not talk about this? I'm in the middle of fighting a living bug zapper.". "Oh. So why did you answer my call then?" said Natasha. Clair soon destroyed the billboard with it falling toward the ground. "I'll call you right back okay?" said Zane. He soon turned into Robot Form and held the billboard up using his magnetism. He saw that Clair was gone as Zane said,"Gods dam it and today was going so well.".

The next day, Zane yawned. He was at his locker with him saying,"I spend all night looking for her and I couldn't find her at all. It's like she disappeared and I'm good at sensing stuff. I just hope Kris and Roxy won't be too mad at me.". "Zane. Are you okay?" said a voice. Zane turned to see Karen and Kevin with him saying,"Yeah. You guys heard about my fight with Voltaire huh?". "Yeah. You know it's Clair right?" said Kevin.

Zane said,"I did and well, I don't feel good for attacking her at all. So how did she become that? It's a unique look.". "Sometimes, you can be a jerk Zaney." said Karen. "I know I'm making a joke but I'm worried and serious about finding Clair. Right now, she thinks her life is ruined just because she can't touch anyone or eat normal food. I need to make sure that she know that she has friends and people who can help her." said Zane. "Wow. That's deep Zane." said Kevin.

The three were walking to Kristen and Roxy with the two girls saying,"Zaney!". They hugged him as Kevin said,"I wish I had your luck sometimes Zaney.". "They can call me Zaney not you. It's not that great sometimes. Sorry for missing the movie. If you want to spend some time with me, come by the lab after practice and we can talk there. You two don't mind right?" said Zane. "I don't. It'll be nice to have some more girls at the lab." said Karen. "I think we have a plan then." said Kevin.

Later that rainy night, the group of Andre, Karen, Kevin, Maxwell, Sharon, Selena, and Zane were talking about Clair. "Could we put her in a tank like we have for the eels Doctor. Matthews?" said Selena. "It won't work. Eels can survive in aquatic environments due to them needing the ability to evolve and survive. Clair was a normal human and human doesn't." said Sharon. "She's producing a huge amount of electricity, meaning if she goes near a large amount of water. Kaboom!" said Andre.

The group heard,"Zaney.". They saw Kristen and Roxy standing there with Andre saying,"They're for you aren't they lady killer?". He elbowed Zane with Kevin said,"He had to cancel their study session yesterday because he went out searching for Clair. He thought he saw her and chased after her.". The Cross-Species soon threw his friend a thumbs up with Max saying,"I see. Well, I don't mind. Do you Doctor. Matthews?". "I don't." said Sharon.

Meanwhile, Clair was walking up to her apartment when she heard,"Clair. We need to get you back to the hospital.". She soon turned to see Ramona and Tony with the head doctor of Heartstone Eleanor Hayes but she likes to be called Ellie. She's a young woman ,being about in her mid to early 20s which is impressive given her title, with shoulder length black hair that's partly covered by a white bandanna that has a red cross, a symbol of her profession. She has dark blue eyes.

She's quite attractive according to some of her patients. She wears a typical white doctors coat with a red cross on the right side of her chest. Underneath her coat, she's wearing a long sleeved flower pattern light red and dark pink dress that goes past her knees. She's wearing dark pink boots. "I'm done with hospital and doctors for the rest of my life thank you very much. I just want to sleep in my bed." said Clair. "You're not ready for the outside world just yet. You need time to...." said Ellie.

Tony stepped forward as he said,"Listen Ms. Fisher. You had a little bit of an incident the other night so you have one of two choices. Either come back with us or spend the rest of your time until they make a cure in a giant plastic orb.". Ramona sighed as Clair said,"You seriously don't get it do you? I didn't want this!". She soon released a giant burst of electricity, which caused her jacket and pants to be destroyed. She stood there ,in her suit, with a lot of electricity around her and her hood was done.

She caused the police car to be destroyed with the two officers and doctors jumped out of the way of the explosion. Ellie soon got back up with her saying,"Clair. Please. I want to help you.". "You can't help me. No one can except for them. Thanks for the advice doc. I hope we don't met again." said Clair. She soon turned into electricity with her causing a blackout wherever she went thanks to her traveling through the power lines.

Back at the lab, the group of Andre, Karen, Kevin, Kristen, Roxy, and Selena stood there with Zane talking with Max. "Are you sure this isn't a bother? I mean I do owe them for ditching them last night but I don't want to...." said Zane. "Zane. I see a lot of myself in you. Just enjoy your life before it's long gone. I have to check some results in my lab." said Max. He soon walked into his private office with him closing the blinds. "Okay. Weird." said Cole. "I agree." said Sivarth.

Kristen said,"So are you two?". She pointed to Andre and Selena who looked at each other with them blushing. "I'm going to guess no." said Roxy. "You're correct. These two won't get together like how David and Susan won't being that both of their cases involve a blond with an annoying voice." said Kevin. "Her voice isn't Hannah level Kevin and you know that. Welcome to the world of science or in other words, Metahuman Science." said Zane. "And what's the difference exactly?" said Kristen.

Karen said,"It's pretty simple Kristen. Doctor. Brock and Doctor. Matthews. were hired to help stop or contain the metahuman problem our city has. Swarm is also doing that but they'll hurt innocent lives in order to do that. This tank here is to help your brother Kristen. I know that you want him back in your life and this lab is for that.". "You two girls and my brother are lucky to have Zaney here as a tutor. He's a smart kid but a little misguided. He could easily get a Nobel prize." said Andre.

Zane said with a smirk,"Thanks for the compliment Andre but don't call me Zaney. Only girls and some of the more crazier people in my life can call me that. I helped Andre, Karen, and Selena with some of their weaker subjects. I guess being a teacher wouldn't be the worst thing but I'm determined to travel first and then go back into teaching.". "I'm happy for you so what type of teacher are you going to be Zane?" said Selena. "I don't know but I'll be the best at it for sure." said Zane.

In Maxwell's office, the doctor was currently looking at a test tube which was filled with light blue liquid as he said,"Dam. I still can't figure out what this means.". Sharon opened the door with her saying,"I have the results.... Max! What are you doing?!". She closed the door behind her as Max said,"It's not what you're thinking.". "Is that?" said Sharon. "It's something to help Carlos and Clair but it's in its trial phase. It's supposed to neutralize powers but..." said Max.

The lights in the lab soon went haywire with the fuse box exploding. Crisis Judgement went off as the door soon flew off its hinges which caused Karen, Kristen, and Roxy to hang onto Zane with Selena hanging onto Andre leaving Kevin with no one. Clair ,with her hood up, soon stood there with her saying,"Brock! Matthews! Get out here right now!". She looked at the group with her saying,"You betray me Andre with that floozy! I'll fry the both of you after I get the doctors!".

She soon slammed her right fist into a table, causing it to split in half with faint traces of electricity going off. "Where are they?" said Clair. "Clair. We're right here." said Max. He and Sharon stood there as Zane noticed the light blue test tube with him saying under his breath,"What's that?". "Don't do anything too rash." said Max. "Rash? I've done shit that would make you babies wince! I'm a dam freak of nature now!" said Clair.

I want my cure now!" yelled Clair. She fired a focus bolt of electricity toward the doctors with them dodging it barely.

Clair glared as she said,"Do it now or else, you'll be fried. I'm not a patient girl. I know that you eggheads can figure out what's wrong with me and fix it. To do this, all you need is some well needed motivations.". She walked toward the doctors with Kevin looking at Zane. The two boys were ready to reveal their secret but Andre saying,"Kevin. Zane. Get the girls out of there. I'll try and calm her down.". "Don't it Andre!" said Selena.

Her plea was ignored as Clair turned to him. "Okay. I'll fry the one who break my heart first and then the docs!" said Clair. She soon grabbed him and threw the freshman into the stairs. His body was slightly burn and her body was covered in sparks. He looked up to see the girls plus Kevin and Zane out of there. "Well done bro." said Andre. Outside, Selena was on her phone. "We have to move now Selena!" said Zane, pushing her forward.

The girls were soon in front of the main building with Selena saying,"Police. We have an emergency at Cypress......". During the call, Roxy soon noticed that both Kevin and Zane were gone. "Those two." said Roxy. "I'm sure that we would only be in their way." said Karen. "Didn't Kevin just get his powers?" said Kristen. "Not according to him, he's had them since the whole Daemon thing two years ago." said Roxy. "Okay. That's something else." said Kristen.

Back in the main lab, Clair walked toward Andre. "Clair! You need to stop! Andre is your friend remember that! We'll find you a cure I promise! I need time!" said Max. "Screw you!" yelled Clair with her throwing a table toward the tank being that the vial soon dropped on the floor. "Calm yourself Sparky. The good doctors mean what they say." said a voice. Clair looked up to see both Kevin and Zane as Neurozap and Legion Zero respectively. "You again!" said Clair.

Kevin looked at Zane with him saying,"Why do you always attract the weird ones Zero? For once, I would like to fight a villain whose powers involve fluffy marshmallows.". "I can't help that I'm so attractive toward the crazy types." said Zane. Clair soon threw two bolts at them with Kevin soon jumping out of the way of the bolt and Zane taking the bolt into him. It was soon gone as Clair soon looked at him.

Zane said,"Look. I'm here to help you Clair Fisher.". He held out his right hand as Clair said,"Help me? You're a dam fool!". She soon shocked Zane with him not feeling a thing. Clair soon threw a punch at Zane with her fist going right through Zane. "Her attacks aren't working on him." said Sharon. Kevin helped Andre up with him having his visor over his eyes. "That's because Zane has both Electromagnetic Aura and Sweet Reaction that can negate Clair's attack." thought Kevin.

Clair went back as she said,"You don't get it do you? The cure is pointless to me if you don't have right now! Clair Fisher died two nights ago thanks to Maxwell Brock! I'm..... What did you call me when you first met me kid?". "Sparky?" said Zane. "No! My name is Voltaire and you'll remember it for the rest of your life!" yelled Clair. She soon released a huge amount of electricity with the doctors covering their eyes and Zane putting on his goggles.

They prevented bright light as Clair roared. Zane soon noticed the vial was charged by Clair's static as Zane said,"Okay Volty. You really need to chill out and I'm the perfect guy. Arctic Shift!". His skin turned light blue, looking frostbitten and his body was covered in ice. He soon released a massive wave of ice toward Clair with her being frozen. "Neuro! Get them somewhere safe! I keep Volty here busy!" said Zane. "Got it Zero!" said Kevin.

The ice was soon gone as Clair attacked Zane. She could easily track him due to him leaving behind ice as he moved. She tried to him being that he jumped toward the roof. The roof soon exploded with there being two holes. Zane landed back on the ground with Clair not giving him a chance to attack as she made two electricity whips. She swung them at Zane who dodged them with ease. Zane soon made Oathbreaker appear and he swung the hammer right at Clair.

She went back a couple of feet as Zane said,"Okay. You're stronger than most of the girls I met. You could give Titan a run for money.". "Shut up!" yelled Clair. She soon hit Zane being that his body was covered in frozen water meaning that he was getting a shock. "Switch out now!" said Athena. The ice was soon gone as Zane looked at some nearby objects. Clair noticed Kevin and Maxwell carrying Andre out with her about to fire her electricity at them.

She was soon stopped by a computer and then she was trapped in several tendrils of candy syrup. The exit was soon blocked by a wall of candy syrup with the rest of them being covered in it. "Dam you kid! The only chance to change me back and you got rid of it!" yelled Clair. The candy syrup around her was going being that they melted off her. She charged at Zane who ducked, causing her to slam into a bunch of test tubes, beakers, and other stuff.

She caused an fiery explosion ,which melted most of the candy syrup, with Zane looking at it. "She's not done from that is she? I should show her how to really juice things up." said Zane. "Don't with the puns Zane." said Athena. Zane soon turned into Fulmination Form with Clair soon walking out of the flames, like a boss. "Okay. I was going to fry you until you're crispy but now, I'm going to fry you until you're dead." said Clair.

She soon fired a massive burst of electricity with Zane's four tentacles having the plugs go right in front of him. He soon absorbed most of her attack but he was soon sent flying into the radio tower. Clair walked out of the building with her firing another bolt at Zane. He dodged it before firing his own purple electricity at her feet, causing an puff of smoke. Zane soon dodged Clair's attacks with her soon throwing a huge ball of electricity at him.

He soon evade it with him thinking,"Okay. Fulmination Form isn't working since you mostly likely can absorb electricity but I can presume you don't have full control of his powers. If you're going all out, I should as well.". Clair soon stopped for a second to see that Zane was glowing bright purple with him saying,"Fulmination Prime!". He's now twelve feet tall, looking more muscular than he did before.

His body is now a metallic gray with his tribal tattoos turning into a dark purple color and they were glowing brightly. His eyes are now crimson red ,lightning bolt shaped, eyes with a solid black outline around them. He had a clear sci-fi visor around his eyes. He has five fingers and toes with them being sharp golden claws. His mouth reveal sharp metal golden teeth with resembles crowns. His black muscle shirt ,with white stripes around his chest, fused together with his dark red cargo pants.

He's wearing a black racing suit with silver electricity bolts like lines going through out it. He's wearing the short black robe alongside brown ,cloth but they're metallic, fingerless gloves. He has on a pair of matching cybernetic silver armbands that stops just below his elbows and silver cybernetic shin guards with the both of them looking like electrical circuits. Clair noticed that his two tentacles quadrupled themselves making eight of them. There were now living electricity.

Zane made two of them go toward Clair and they grab her. She tried to break out. He soon threw her into the lab building and she went to the ground. She got back up as Zane said,"You can't hit me but I can hit you!". "Try then!" yelled Clair as she fired a beam of electricity but it was being absorbed Zane before it could hit Zane. The hero jumped back toward the radio tower using four of his tentacles climbing him up. "Okay. This is pretty fun." said Zane.

Clair heard this comment with her yelling at him,"Fun? You can't escape me bolt head!". "First off, I don't have any bolts so you're wrong there." said Zane. "That isn't the point Zane!" said Athena as she glared at him. Clair soon launched herself into the air using electricity with her slamming into the radio tower. The tower was shocked as Zane said,"And your attacks are like getting hit with a feather. Try harder won't you darling?".

Clair roared at him with Athena saying,"I think you're doing this to upset her aren't you? Your plan to trick her is an interesting one there Zane.". "Yeah. That's Zane. Oh and your mom just loves to interrupt you when you're working doesn't she?" said Cole. "Put her on." said Zane, as he hide in the tower. He had two antennae hanging onto the radio tower and the other six, attacking Clair by firing dark purple electricity.

Zane heard,"Zane. There's a lot of static on your end.". "Yeah. I'm busy fighting the criminal from yesterday and well, she's a walking generator!" said Zane. Zane evade Clair's attack with Natasha saying,"I need to have a word with you after you finish off this crook. It's important and let me say that you're not in trouble.". "Gotcha mom. I'll talk with you later." said Zane as he evaded Clair's attack. The girl soon looked at Zane with her breathing out a huge burst of electricity.

Zane soon jumped back with him noticing the pool. He saw no one in there with him saying,"Thank god that the school doesn't allow night swims. Come with me volty! Time for you to take a well needed bath!". "Huh?" said Clair. She was soon kicked into the skylight, causing it to break. She soon hit the water, causing it to electrocuted away. A huge burst of steam came out as Clair was soon out cold. Zane stood there with him saying,"And that's all she wrote.".

Zane soon jumped down to the now empty pool to see that despite being out cold, Clair was still producing a lot of electricity. Zane could heard police sirens with him saying,"Time to get rid of some of her electricity.". Six of his antennas soon touched Clair with Zane absorbed the excess from Clair. She was soon at a normal wattage with the hood going back up. Zane soon saw the police as he said,"Wear some gloves boys and girls. She's one shocking gal.". He was soon gone.

The next day, Zane was tired. He soon made it to his locker as he heard,"What were you and Kevin thinking Zaney?". He turned to see Karen, Kristen, and Roxy looking at him. "I couldn't cure Clair due to her having an excess amount of electricity. I was lucky that Fulmination Prime could contain the excess electricity that she was given off. I spend the last couple of hours getting rid of it and trust me, you don't want me to touch you. I got a nasty touch." said Zane.

Roxy touched his shoulder with her pulling her hand back. "You're not wrong. Isn't that a side effect of Electromagnetic Aura?" said Roxy. "It is normally but well, I didn't get rid all of that energy so you girls up for anything? All I got is a lecture from my mom." said Zane. "How about we go see your room Zaney? You saw mine after all." said Kristen. "That sounds fair to me." said Zane. The four soon left the building with Brad ,hiding behind some lockers, smiling.

He had a feeling that Zane was a player but unlike Mack, he wasn't doing it for the conquest. Brad and Zane may have gotten off on the wrong foot but in the past couple of weeks, Brad liked the teen and he didn't show it mainly due to Hannah and Sam. He saw the two girls talking with David being their packmule. "Hey Zit. I know you can help me with my studies but help my bro Andre and David with their love lives." thought Brad as he went to go help his fellow athlete out.

Back at CPU's lab, the test tub was still covered in Clair's electricity. Maxwell looked around to see that the place was destroyed. Sharon walked up to him as she said,"Max. We've done enough today because I promise we'll help Carlos and Clair but we need some sleep.". Sharon soon left the building with Max following her after grabbing the test tube. He soon joined her as Max said,"So, how about some sushi? Zane tells me....". "Sure." said Sharon. Maxwell smiled.

At the Alvarez house, Natasha and Zane were talking in the kitchen. The girls were playing with the trio (Atem, Uriel, and Zoey) up in Zane's room. "So what did you want to talk with me about? I'm not comfortable leaving the girls up there." said Zane. "Didn't you hide your books just in case they came over?" said Natasha. "I'm not answering that mom." said Zane. "So how are things going? In the past couple of weeks, we haven't had a good mother to son chat." said Natasha.

Zane said while sipping one of his unique sports drink,"True. I need to tell you something. Look at this.". He showed her his notebook with her looking through it. She was amazed with all of the notes written in her as he said,"I got your drive for inventing stuff mom. I can't stop myself because of my treasure.". 'What is your treasure Zane? Yahi mentioned that you said that during your training and well, your other teachers mentioned that." said Natasha.

Zane said,"I knew you would be asking about that so I'll tell you mom. I began my training in order to protect my treasure. It's the people aka m family, friends, and everyone who makes me smile every day. I'll train my body to my limits in order to do that and well, these gadgets of mine are going to help that.". Natasha smiled as she soon stopped her reading the notebook. "Um Zane. What is this design about?" said Natasha. She held up a picture for a house.

Zane soon said,"Oh. That's for my house for my adult years and it was made for my many kids. It will be childproof.". "Are you moving out?" said Natasha. Zane could tell that his mother didn't want him to leave with Zane saying,"Not until much later but I'll have my room very much connected to the house. I'll could never leave you mom. I promised dad that.". "I know that Zane. Your father would be so proud of you." said Natasha. Zane soon hugged her as he said,"I'm sure about that.".

Natasha soon smirked as she said,"So when is the wedding?". "Not until after high school and maybe a few years afterward . I'm happy that we're friends with the rich because each wedding is going to cost a lot of money but I just hope the kids like their future moms." said Zane as he soon crossed his arms. "Dad/Zane/Daddy! Come up here!" said the trio (Atem, Uriel, and Zoey respectively). "Go to them Zane." said Natasha as Zane nodded with him disappearing.
