A/N: Here's a fun fact about this episode. It had two initial drafts being that draft one involving the fun topic of gender stereotypes and draft two involved a time travel plot. Yeah. Both of those drafts were going to bring some controversies no matter which one I did being that I plan to do those episodes later down the road. One of them may appear once some time has passed on a certain thing that happened at the end of last month.
I won't say what it was but it's a big deal to say the least. I really should talk about the couple of Botany and Sapphire being a same sex couple. I treated them as a normal couple which I'm not very good at to begin with it. They weren't the main focus of the episode because that belonged to Storm and her being controlled by Basalt. We'll see this trio of evil girls again alongside the mercenary group of Tremendous.
Like I mentioned, expect the sexual tension between Storm and Cryonic will be strong like really strong. You could feel it from the next country. Their relationship will be touched upon it and hopefully, I do a decent job with it. I'll admit that I'm not the biggest fan of stereotype jokes because to me, they got old really fast. I personally believe that there is one person in the entire milky way galaxy that acts like a stereotype but only ONE.
I won't judge someone if you act like a stereotype but you shouldn't try to be the prime example of an trope. You really shouldn't judge people by their color or gender because you should judge a person by their actions rather than what they look like. That's your PSA message for the day. I mentioned in Zero Episode 114 that Zane treats both genders equally. If he's fighting against a male or female opponent, he'll treat them the exact same.
You could say this is due to Zane being a very open minding person but it's due to him being an Eazairvian. An Eazairvian is basically neither gender but they can change between the two main genders on the fly. I know that there is more genders than male and female. Check out the Wikipedia article on Gender Identity. I find that kind of stuff interesting because I love learn weird and random shit.
I mean did you know that a Mosquito has 47 sharp "teeth" on its proboscis? I love learning weird facts like that. This episode will show a side of heroes that you don't see a lot. There is a saying that I fully believe in. For every single thing in this world, there is something good and bad about it. This episode will have a villain in a sense but the main focus is what makes Zane different from the norm of heroes at least in my mind. Lets begin.
Zane P.O.V.
What makes a person a hero? I ask myself this question everyday being according to Tyler Harrington aka Warrior's recent book on heroes in general called,"Heroes and their Ten Guidelines.". According to the media after his book came out, I was considered a real hero. I fight bad guys some times and the other times, I help old ladies across the street. Every day doesn't have to be some big adventure and this tale is one of those stories.
This story starts off like any other day of my extra ordinary life. I was hanging out with Danny being that we were playing Zombie Harvest. It's a multiplayer game where up to eight players are divided into two teams (Resistance and Zombies). I was the Zombies and Danny was the resistance. Danny was winning by five points with forty five seconds left in the match. "Zane. I'm really going to enjoy finally defeating you for once. You're not winning this." said Danny.
I smirked as I said,"You know that my enemies say that to me all the time before I beat them and stop their evil plans right?". I soon had my character run down the field, heading toward Danny's base. He tried to stop me of course but I easily dodged his assault with some body parts lost. I soon reached the goal with me only losing my left leg and right arm. This earned me only three points because to get a full five points for the Zombie Team, I have to get both arms, chest, legs to Danny's goal.
I was still down by two with twenty four seconds. "Oh wow. That was such an expert play Zero. I just hope you're not a sore loser because I'll make sure that you and your horde don't make it to my goal at all." said Danny. "This is all part of my plan Daniel." I said. "You can't be serious. I mean you lost and there is no chances of you winning at this point." said Danny. "Come on Danny. You know how heroes are. We always win no matter what the odds could be." I said.
I soon looked at the time remaining, twelve seconds remained. "Yeah right. You're going down!" said Danny as he focused his soldiers on the zombie menace. I smiled as I saw this coming from a mile away. During my last play, I had some zombie planted in the ground and I sprung them on Danny. He was shocked by this as I had a zombie rushed right toward Danny's goal being that just at the time ran out, the zombie made it with all five body parts, beating Danny by three points.
Danny groaned as he said,"Seriously. Your luck is something else man.". "Yeah. I can charm my enemies into becoming my allies, make men or women fall for me in seconds, and win any game that involves luck. Thank you Furor." I said. "Didn't most of your skills come from the deaths of ninety nine other Zeroes dying?" said Danny looking right at me. "Yeah but I won't be dying like they did before me." I said, patting him on the back,
Crisis Judgement went off as Danny noticed something up. "What's going on man? Is it bad?" said Danny. There was soon a bright flash of light within my room and when it vanished, a alien like figure stood there in my room. He has creamy white skin with light green pupils and black sclera but not pupils. He's tall and skinny. He has swirly cream like hair that matched his skin tone. He wears a bluish white robe with black accents with a gold badge on his chest. He wears a monocle.
The alien said,"Sorry for entering your room without your permission Legion Zero but it has taken me a long time to arrive here.". Danny soon activated Phantom Smashers with him saying,"So how do you know Zane and why are you here?". "I don't think he's here to try and kill me man. He's from a peaceful species called the Nido. I mean I doubt they could even harm a butterfly or a piece of paper." I said as I calmed Danny down. "Okay. So why are you here?" said Danny.
The alien ignored him as he placed a gold medal around my neck. "To honor the Nido who died thanks to Darth. He defeated Darth who destroyed my people three of your human months ago before he arrived on Earth. Please accept this medal as a token of my thanks from the prime minister of the Nido race." said the alien. I smiled as I said,"Thank you sir. If you need any help repairing from Darth's rampage, just call the Alliance. We're always ready to help.".
He smiled as he warped away. "Okay. You're really making the other Zeroes look terrible by the day except for maybe Ryoka." said Danny. "Yeah. I honestly got lucky with Darth. He unfortunately picked the wrong host maybe." I said, sitting down on my couch. "Huh. I thought heroes were supposed to be cocky." said Danny. "Yeah. That isn't really my thing most of the time." I said. "Yeah man. If you were a completely cocky asshole, we couldn't be friends. So up for another round?" said Danny.
I stood up as I said,"Nah. I got patrol. You can stay here if you want but I have to get going.". "I think I'll do that Zane. I have to wait for Gwen anyway. She's going shopping with Heidi, Jordan, Leo, and Rachel. Poor Leo." said Danny. "Yeah. He doesn't mind dressing like that but Rachel is having a field day with him. I mean don't lie to me. You thought that he was pretty cute." I said. "Kinda but my heart belongs to Gwen." said Danny.
We soon fistbumped as I turned into Legion Zero. I made a D.I.S.C. appear in front of me and I soon got on it. I flew off into the city with me going on patrol. I soon heard something moving down below me with me flying down into an alleyway. "Listen buddy. I know you're here so how about you give up before I make you uglier than normal." I said. Crisis Judgement went off as Barbarian jumped down from above to strike me.
I flew above him, dodging his attack. Barbarian landed on the ground with me saying,"Huh. I guess all types of cats ,humanoid or not, do land on their feet. So are you going to give up without me kicking your ass? I mean you're wanted by the police for robbing a pet store right?". He growled as he jumped up toward me with me charging up Green Nether. I soon made a giant wall of Nether, with Barbarian crashing into it. "This wall won't stop me from slicing you to pieces!" said Barbarian.
He soon jumped right over the wall with me easily dodging him once again. As he was falling to the ground, I threw a V.B.R.S. down to the ground. It soon trapped Barbarian in a giant net of sharp vines as Barbarian tried to break out. "Sorry but you're going to be here awhile. See you next time." I said as he growled. I flew off as the police sirens drove toward Barbarian's location. I soon finished up my patrol ,with Allen replacing me, being that I was soon walking through the park.
I soon saw a girl sitting on a bench on her laptop. She was Caucasian with being rather slender and thin for her age. She looks to be around Ana and Leo's age. She had rather shiny shoulder length black hair with her wearing a blue beanie. She has bright blue eyes. She wears a light green long sleeved shirt with a black and white scarf around her neck and charcoal black skinny jeans. She's wearing black and pink slip on shoes without socks.
Kevin would call her beautiful but I was with seven lovely women and I'm pretty sure that Rachel is a possessive type so adding more girls to my harem isn't a good idea. I walked straight toward her being that Crisis Judgement went off. I was about to smack right into a tree but I evade my implant with said tree. She turned toward my direction as she said,"Are you okay?". "Yep. Perfectly fine. So what are you doing out here on this lovely winter day all by yourself?" I said.
She turned away from me as she said,"None of your damn business.". "Okay that's harsh." I said. I walked over to her with me using my enhanced vision to see that she was writing about my other life as Legion Zero. I know that I shouldn't peep on other people's privacy but hey, I was curious. "So you like Legion Zero?" I said. She smiled as she said,"Yeah. He's an honest to goo hero because he helps out whenever he can.". She mumbled out,"Except me.".
It didn't take empathic abilities or superhuman hearing to know that she's been through a lot in her young life. "So what's your name?" I said. "It's Lillian Zero. Lillian Mitchell but my friends call me Lilly." said Lilly. She held out her hand and I shook it. "Zane Alvarez." I said. "So tell me. You're the Zane Alvarez who graduated early and considered to be the smartest high school senior in the history of America right?" said Lilly. "I am so do you go to Cypress High?" I said.
She shook her head as she said,"Not yet. I was home schooled but I finally convinced my mom to let me go back to school except to the better school here in town. I start on Monday.". "Yeah. The other school isn't exactly the best but it gives kids what they needed to succeed but they don't exactly force their students to try and achieve their goals." I said. My phone soon buzzed as I knew all too well that if my phone was buzzing, Scott needed my help.
I said with a smile,"Listen Lilly. I have to get going. My friend kinda needs me but I should probably tell you something.". "What?" said Lilly. "Whatever is bothering you, don't let it. You're in charge of your own life and remember, you always have someone to talk to." I said. I walked away being that I knew that my natural talent with flirt was going to get me killed one of these days but today isn't that day hopefully. I soon turned into Legion Zero ,after I was alone, and flew off.
Narrator P.O.V.
Lilly was still in awe of Zane. She heard about him alone but he was different from what she heard about him. "Okay. He's really cute not handsome." thought Lilly as her blush grew. She knew that a guy like a girl like her would never happen thanks to Clark Larson, her ex. It had been barely two months since she got home-schooled by her mother who is a school teacher. Lilly's story began when she was just a sophomore and Clark was her senior.
She started talking to him when they were together in study hall and she was in love. According to some juniors in her computer club, he was voted most popular by the cool kids. However, the rest of the student body ,except the freshman, disagreed heavily. He kept calling her beautiful, perfect, and stuff like that. However about a month into their study hall and friendship, he asked her to show him her chest. She naturally refused being that's when the bullying starting.
During study hall, he would sit across from her and lightly tease her. However, this was just straight up bullying. He always pushed down her laptop screen just as she was writing something about Cypress Park's metahumans, mainly when it came to Legion Zero and company. She's the head writer for Legion Zero's number one fan site being that Brad talks with her about Legion Zero and gives her info about him such as Zero's fight with Darth and fight with Toxic since he was there for them.
She tried her best to not let it show but Clark and his pals could see it from a mile away. He kept doing it and after telling him to stop politely, Clark kept doing it and mocked her in the process. He soon began typing on her keyboard being that no one tried to stop him. Everyone loved Clark except for Lilly. As this bullying went on, Lilly broke Clark's hand by simply grabbing it. She just wanted him to stop messing with her not break his hand.
This earned her a month's detention along with a lot of bullying from her classmates. She told her parents and teachers the truth about what happened in study hall. Instead of helping her, the teachers didn't help her at all because they were like the student body in fact. They loved Clark and wanted to only help him rather than her. Her parents on the other hand told her to stand up for herself. It mainly came from her scumbag father.
Her coward of a mother didn't do a damn thing to try and help her. Her father was always alright and if Lilly or her mother questioned him, they got beaten hard. Lilly was soon heading back home. She could hear some footsteps and tried her best to ignore them. "Oh look who it is. It's Lilly, the hand crusher! Where are you going crusher?!" said a voice. Lilly just kept walking and hoped that they would just leave her alone.
However, her luck wasn't exactly the best. A group of people ,from Clark's group, ran up to her and grabbed her arms. "Damn it. I was so close!" thought Lilly. Lilly soon saw Clark standing there with his hand still in a cast. Clark has olive colored skin with him having a muscular yet slightly chubby frame. His head is shaped like a football but instead of horizontal like Arnold, it's vertical. He has shaggy black hair but with a receding hairline and brown eyes.
He has noticeable dark circles around his eyes being that it's caused from a long of sleep. He has a long, pointed chin. He's wearing a backward red and black baseball cap. He’s wearing a black leather jacket with a blue skull with a orange/red flame pattern. He’s wearing a black and red tank top alongside blue, red, and white wristbands. He wears ripped blue jeans and a pair of black boots. He has a skull and crossbones tattoo on the back of his left hand.
Clark smiled as he walked up to her. "And here she is boys. The hand crusher live and in person. You better be careful because if you get too close to her, she'll crush your hand." said Clark. Lilly's chin was held in Clark's good hand aka the one not in the cost as he said,"So why are you avoiding me babe? I thought you liked me.". "I did but not anymore you jackass." mumbled Lilly. "Excuse me? I didn't hear you so speak up." said Clark.
Lilly got up closer to Clark as she yelled,"I'm sorry Clark! I guess I broke more than just your hearing jackass! I hate everything about you and if I could, I would break your other hand just for the hell of it!". Instead of being scared, he group just laughed at her as Clark said,"Oh wow. I guess you got more of a backbone than I initially thought. Along with being a crusher, you're a slut aren't you? We should find out right boys?!".
The group soon went down a nearby alley and threw her down. She noticed that Clark had a group of seven other guys behind him. "Since you're a slut, how about we give you a good time?" said Clark as he and his group walked toward her. "No. Stay away!" yelled Lilly. They were a few feet away from her and were going to do unspeakable things to her. However, something landed in front of her as Lilly looked up to see Turbo Form, protecting her. "Legion Zero." said Lilly.
Zane P.O.V.
I had just finished up helping Scott and his officers take care of Igor who had broken out of jail to get revenge on the villain aka me. I was about to head back to Legion Tower before I heard a scream. It was female and I rushed right after her, To increase my speed, I turned into Turbo Form. I soon saw Lilly being carried into an alley by some guys. I was above them as I watched them get closer. I had stopped a couple of rapes before and trust me when I say this, that's a part of my job I hate.
I flew down and landed in front of Lilly. "Legion Zero." said Lilly. I turned to her with me noticing that instead of her blue eyes, they were green. I nodded as I thought,"That can wait.". "You're going to be okay miss. I promise." I said. I turned toward the group and despite not having eyebrows, I was glaring hard at them. "People like you guys make me sick to my stomach. You rapists should leave now before I break you all in half." I said.
They looked at each other and then back at me. "How about you stay the fuck away hero?! She broke my arm and I demand satisfaction from the slut!" said Clark. I took a deep breath with me switching forms from Turbo Form to Ram Form. "Good job you damn rapists. You made me mad and trust me, you shouldn't have done that." I said. "Get that freak right now boys! We'll get his damn bitch too!" said Clark.
They soon charged at me with knives with me easily dodging them. The first one was socked in the face, breaking his nose and I kicked him right into a dumpster. Another one came at me with a crowbar and spiked bat combo. He swung them at me but I ducked and punched him in the stomach with him gasping for air. I grabbed his weapons, snapping them in half. I soon fired my horns at him and he was pinned to the ground, unable to escape.
Two more came at me with them soon surrounded me. I soon stood on my hands and spin around like a tornado. I soon hit them all with harder than normal kicks. They were knocked out cold with the last three ,include Clark, pulling out BB guns. "Seriously? I fight goons with laser guns. What are they going to do to me?" I said, raising an eyebrow. They fired rounds at me with me rolling my eyes and I grabbed all of the BBs as they reached me.
I walked toward them with me getting closer to them. "Run before I break your spine." I said with the three of them taking off running. I walked over to Lilly with me saying,"I despise rapists more than anything so I won't let them do anything to you. So are you okay?". She nodded as I was staring at him. Her eyes were puffy because she was crying. Her eyes were back to their normal color being that according to Kevin, she would still be beautiful right now.
I sighed as I deactivated Ram Form, staying in my costume. "Thank you Zero." said Lilly. She soon hugged me tight with her saying,"Thank you. Thank you, so much. I love you so much, you saved me!". She was sobbing now with me hugging her back and caressed her back. "It's okay. You're safe now." I said. She stopped hugged and looked in my eyes. "I know. Thanks." said Lilly. I soon made a tissue appear as I said,"Use this. It helps.".
She nodded as she wiped up her tears. "So why were those guys after you? If you don't want to tell me, I understand. I just want them to get what they deserve for what they almost did." I said. "I'll tell you under one condition." said Lilly. "Sure. What's up?" I said. "You hang out with me. That isn't a problem right?" said Lilly. She smiled at me as I said,"Sure. I just need to tell my fellow heroes to cover me for a while. They won't mind because apparently, I go overboard on my hero work.".
I soon touched my ear ,activating my communicator, as I said,"Hey Nighthawk. Do you mind asking the others if you guys could cover for me?". "Will do brother!" said Leo's voice. I soon held out my hand and she took it, blushing. "Okay. I need you to hang on tight." I said. I soon got in a piggyback position as she said,"What are you doing?". "Giving you a ride. Now get on." I said. She soon got on my back as I turned into Swift Form.
I soon zoomed off as my passenger said,"This is so fucking sweet!". I chucked as I said,"So you're having fun aren't you?". "Yeah! Is this normal for you?" said Lilly, hanging onto me tight. "Kinda but I bet you're hungry." I said. Her stomach growled as Lilly blushed. "A bit." said Lilly. "Okay. I think I can make a quick pit stop." I said. I turned toward Fantasia and grabbed a couple bags of food being that Courtney wouldn't mind.
Lilly said,"So where are we going?!". "Just wait and see. I hate to run the surprise." I said as I picked up speed. A few minutes later, we were eating food overlooking the city and taking. "This is an amazing view Zero. I can't believe that we're actually sitting on the apartment complex where you fought Downpour and Steamroller." said Lilly, smiling. I tend to make people ,including grouchy folks like Parker, smile like nothing else.
I had deactivated Swift Form, going back to being in costume. I could reveal my secret identity to her but what can I say? I just feel more comfortable in a costume. "Yeah. I haven't had time to repair the place and since it's currently unoccupied, I thought it would be a good place for us to chat. So why were those guys after you?" I said. There was a silence as I sighed. "Look. I'm always here to help you out okay? That's kinda my job as a hero along with being a good person." I said, smiling.
She looked at me with pained eyes. "It's kinda a long story." said Lilly. "And I got plenty of time. It's one of the premier benefits of being immortal. You get a lot of time to kill." I said. She nodded as she soon began telling me her story of those guys. From meeting Clark, not showing her chest, and her entire school just bullying her. She was soon crying into my shirt as she mumbled out,"I have no one Zero! I need someone. Someone who cares about me!".
I pulled her up to look at me as I said,"Look. I'm proud of you for telling the principal and I'm going to have a word with them along with your parents. They should have been on your side when you need them most. I'm your friend is my point I'm trying to get at it.". She wiped her tears away and smiled at me. "I know that. You're Legion Zero. Friend to everyone in Cypress Park including the scumbags." said Lilly.
I sighed as I said,"We're not exactly friends. I've been raised to always see the good in people and not the bad. Everyone has a good and bad side to them. So what is your heart telling you to do?". Before I knew it, she kissed me. My eyes widened as I softly pushed her back. "What's wrong? Am I that bad of a kisser?" said Lilly. "Nope. I'm just not the type to kiss on the first date plus I'm kinda in a pretty serious relationship." I said.
Lilly soon chucked as she said,"I know that Zero. You've been paired up with Morph so many times despite him having a girlfriend.". Before I could say anything, Scott was calling me. "Listen. I have to go. A pretty bad situation is going down over by the amphitheater and I'm kinda needed there." I said as she pouted. "I could drop you off at your house if you want." I said. She nodded as I soon held her tightly in my arms.
She wrapped her arms around my neck as I said while transforming into Insect Form,"Hang on tight Lilly.". I soon flew her over to her house and placed her down in front of her door. "Will you come by my house? To hang out of course." said Lilly. "Sure but no funny business. I mean they don't tell you this in school Lilly but justice is totally the jealous type." I said. I flew off and hopefully, my girlfriends would understand how I "cheated" on them with Lilly.
Narrator P.O.V.
It had been a few hours since Zero had left her and Lilly wondered if he was coming back. She soon figured out why he had to leave. The trio of General Necrosis, Rampage, and Rock Lord were working together to cause mayhem. "Wow. He's really something." said Lilly. Both parents were out of town thanks to her aunt being sick and her father didn't invited her after she bashed Clark on her website. He's a real monster isn't he.
Lilly knew where he kept his gun being that he said to his wife that he got it for protection purposes but was to shoot anyone who got on his property without permission. She was bored being that she didn't use social media anymore. It was mainly because of the hateful comments from her former "classmates" but her website banned creeps like them and their thousands of sheeple followers. She decided to go for a walk, against her better judgement.
She put on her brown hoodie and headed out. Her parents were gone so she didn't have to try and sneak out being that even if they were home, she knew that they didn't care. Once outside, she put up her hood and walked down the sidewalk. "I can't believe a boy actually likes being around me. It's Legion freaking Zero! He seems like such a nice guy but he's with someone. I hope he or she makes him real happy. I hope we can be friends." thought Lilly.
She put her hands in her hoodie pockets with her walking. She heard someone behind her as she was sure about it being Zero. "You found me." said Lilly with a smile. She turned around with her smile soon vanishing within seconds. It wasn't Zero but the guys who Zero had beat up along with Clark and their girlfriends. "Damn right we fought you. Is this the bitch who's friends with our so called protector?" said a brunette.
She was talking to her boyfriend aka the one who got kicked into the dumpster. "Yeah babe. She's Zero's whore." said the boy. The group glared at her being that Lilly had no other idea except to run away which she did. "It's cute to see her trying to escape." said the brunette. The group soon chased after her with Lilly going faster. "Zero. I need you now!" thought Lilly. She kept running being that they eventually caught her.
They were in the old gym in south Cypress Park. A black haired girl said,"So since your ingenious plan of running didn't work, anything else you want to try?". "Yeah bitch. You got nowhere to run or hide." said the brunette. "Zero! Help me please!" shouted Lilly, crying. "Aww, the crusher slut has a boyfriend and it's Zero. How stupid!" said a blond girl. "Zero is the jerk who put two of my pals in the clinic. Time to make this bitch pay." said Clark. "Please don't." said Lilly.
She was punched in the jaw by a redhead, causing Lilly to cry and spit blood. The blond girl soon punched her in the stomach, causing her to fall to the ground. The group soon punched and kicked her non stop with one guy pulled out a non-spiked bat and beat her ribs with it. After a few minutes of this, Clark ordered two of his guys to pick her and throw her in a locker. "Let me out! Let me out please!" shouted Lilly.
Clark smiled as he said,"This is what you get for not showing me your breasts fucking whore.". The group was gone, leaving behind the broken Lilly physical and mentally. She kept pounding on the locker as she eventually blacked out. She was crying non stop during her struggle being that she didn't see or hear the person who caught her. "Don't worry Lilly. I'll make those creeps pay hard for hurting my friend." said a voice.
Zane P.O.V.
After finishing up with the magic trio and their muscles, I went back to Lilly's house after I told the girls about this. Much to my shock, I didn't get slapped. They told me to help the poor girl out before she does something that she'll regret for the rest of her life. She was going to do at this rate. When I arrived at her home, I couldn't sense her at all. She wasn't home so I decided to go look for her by becoming Hunter Form due to him being my best tracker.
I soon followed her trail being that I soon picked up on her along with several others including that scumbag Clark and his gang of losers. "Crap." I said as I rushed toward the gym. I broke my way through to stop in front of the locker, holding Lilly. I broke the locker door open and I could hear her heartbeat. It was faint but she was still alive. I sighed in relief as I said,"Don't worry Lilly. I'll make those creeps pay hard for hurting my friend.".
I turned into Restore Form with me soon making a clone appear. The clone soon nodded as it had its mission while I had mine, healing Lilly with my nanomachines. It was long gone as I heard,"Zero. Is that you?". It was a weak voice and belonged to Lilly. "Yeah. I'm sorry for not being here. They're going to pay." I said. "Don't worry Zero. You're here now." said Lilly. I picked her up with her soon holding her like a bride or princess.
I said,"You need to hold on tight. My nanomachines are healing you but this isn't the best place for healing you.". She nodded as I turned into Swift Form, rushing back to her house and laid her on her bed. I went back to Restore Form, focused on healing her back to normal. As her healing was at a good point, I deactivated Restore Form. I was still in costume as Lilly said,"Thank you.". "For what exactly because I didn't save you at all." I said.
Lilly shook her head as she said,"If you didn't find me, I would have died in that ditch so thank you for being there Zero.". "You're welcome." I said. I soon rolled up her sleeves to see several diagonal lines on her wrists. "You cut yourself didn't you?" I said. She turned away from me as I sighed. "I'm not mad at you for doing it. Trust me, things are rough for everyone." I said. "But you're a superhero Zero!" said Lilly.
I smiled as I said,"You think that being a hero is easy? It really isn't. You have the fear of your enemies finding out your secret identity and hurting your family and friends. I'm sure you feel like no one is in your corner because you're bullied to hell and back. You think killing yourself will solve your problems but honestly, it's a short team solution to a long term problem.". She snuggled up to me and inched her lips closer to me.
She smiled as she said,"I know that you're seeing someone but could you stay by my side until the morning?". I smiled as I said,"Sure thing.". She held onto my hand with her soon following asleep as I sat on the floor of her bed. I looked at her as I thought,"Lilly. You've been through so much. I hope what's going to happen to them is justice for you.". I soon closed my eyes while keeping my guard up since I'm a very paranoid guy.
The next morning, I woke up to see that a naked Lilly was cuddled up to me. I stood back up with her waking up. "Morning hero." said Lilly. "So did we....?" I said. "Nope. We didn't have sex but I did use you as a heater because you're so warm!" said Lilly with a giggle. "Not sure if Restore Form gave her laughing gas or not." I thought. "So do you have to go?" said Lilly. "Yep. Being a hero means that you never take a break." I said.
She smiled as I said,"But if I can, I'll make some time for you okay?". She kissed my cheek as she said,"Okay Zero.". "Lillian! You awake?!" said a man's voice. Her eyes widened as she whispered to me,"That's my dad! You have to leave Zero!". "Why? I wanted to have a totally violent chat with him about how he's treated you." I said. She dragged me toward her bedroom as she said,"Please just go Zero.". I looked at her with me flying off.
I soon floated around before I soon got a message from Roxy. She wanted to meet me at the park to ask about the whole Lilly thing. I soon spotted her as I finally went back to being Zero. I saw her with her holding a picnic basket as she jumped toward me and kissed me. "So how did it go?" said Roxy as I smiled. "It's a long story. So what's with the picnic basket? We're not going to tease some bears are we?" I said, jokingly.
Roxy shook her head as she said,"Nope! You must be tired because you stopped a light night boat theft after handing those villains right?". "Yeah. So how is she doing?" said Roxy, getting back on topic. I looked at her as I said,"It's complicated. Want to walk and talk or in my case, walk, talk, and eat?". She nodded as we soon walked and chatted about Lilly and her current situation at hand. After our talk, we were sitting on a park bench.
Roxy looked at me as she said,"Zane.". "What's up? You want to feed the ducks? I mean we're still young and in our prime you know?" I said. "Always with the jokes. I talked with Karen about the letter you wrote her before you two fought Storm." said Roxy. "Oh. I meant every word to her. I want to marry you girls but your futures come first. That's something I told myself. All of us are one group now and well, I want everyone to know that eventually." I said.
Roxy smiled as she said,"I knew you would say that Zaney. So do you know what I want to do when I grow up?". "Become my partner in crime?" I said. She punched me as she said,"No. I want to be your wife and a doctor like my dad.". "A doctor? Wait, Roland was a doctor before becoming a very rich scumbag." I said. "Not my stepdad Zane. My birth dad. He was a great doctor. He always tried to be friends with his patients rather than seeing them as just dollar bills." said Roxy.
I smiled as I said,"You've got a good dream Roxy and I'm willing to support you since according to Ellie, medical school is a pain in the ass.". "Yep. I'll need my expert tutor if I want to become the doctor who repairs the Omniverse's greatest hero." said Roxy. We were about to kiss before I heard my name being called by Lilly. Roxy saw her with some guy as I clenched my teeth in anger. It was Clark for some reason. I would find out why he was with her later but right now, I don't.
I said,"Hey there Lilly.". "Who is this?" said Lilly. "My name is Roxy Stars and I'm Zane's really good friend. Zaney here has told me a lot about you." said Roxy, shaking hands with the girl much to her confusion. During this, I was just looking at Clark. He did have a black eye and busted lip. He was also looking at Roxy with a gaze that screaming lust which triggered me and he was currently touching Lilly's back.
Upon seeing this, my eyes turned bright red and my stingers protruding from my wrists. My ability to petrify things to stone is currently active but thanks to my glasses, no one would be turning into stone statues any time soon. "So Lilly, who is this piece of shit you're currently with right now?" I said. "This is Clark, my boyfriend." said Lilly, causing Clark to smirk. "Really? I didn't think you would have a boyfriend but hey, I can be surprised once in a while." I said.
She had a pained look in her eyes being that something was wrong. "Yeah. I didn't expect you to have girlfriend either." said Lilly. "Me and Zane are more than just boyfriend and girlfriend." said Roxy as she wrapped her arm around mine. "Well, we better get going. Me and Lilly have something planned down at the rec center. Nice meeting you Zane." said Clark. He held out his fist for a fist bump so I didn't return the favor.
A fist bump is bonding with another being of the Omniverse and there is no way in the nine realms that I'm bonding with an asshole and scum like Clark. No offense to anyone named Clark. Lilly soon looked at me while Clark was escorted her away. She just stared right at me with Roxy whispering to me,"Zaney. Are you going to do something violent?". "Pretty sure I will. I have a bad feeling and I just hope things don't get worse." I said. They usually do.
Narrator P.O.V.
About one hour earlier just as Lilly escorted Zero out of her bedroom window, her dad burst his way through a door. He however didn't use a battering ram because it's hard to buy one on a car salesman's paycheck according to Cartoon Form. "Hey....." said Lilly's dad. "What's wrong dad?" said Lilly as Lilly's dad pointed at her with her remembering that she was naked. She quickly put on a robe as her dad said,"Anyway, me and your mom are going back out. You're on your own for a while.".
She nodded as she said,"No problem. Have fun you two.". He smiled as he walked out of her room and closing the door behind him. Lilly sat on her bed and let out a sigh of relief. She took off her robe and stretched. It was her room and there was no real reason for clothes now. She thought about Zane and Zero. Even though she knew the former for a shorter time than the latter, both of them were very amazing.
They're caring, funny, and a real superhero to her. She knew that she had some laundry to do being that she put on a pink hoodie and sweatpants. She took down a basket of laundry downstairs to the laundry room and started a load. She went to the kitchen for some food being that she made a peanut butter sandwich and sat down at a table to chow down. During her meal, she was looking up a new metahuman here in Cypress Park. He went by the name Crimson Spade.
His first sighting was that he attacked Clark and his group. According to him, he was doing it for a friend of his who was bullied by them. She smiled at this being that Clark and his group deserved this after what they did to her. After demolishing her snack, she decided to take a nap being that she didn't get much sleep last night. She later woke up to someone knocking on her upstairs window and she thought that it was Legion Zero.
She excitedly ran upstairs to her room at the though of seeing him and she opened her bedroom window. However upon doing this, she was immediately pushed back. She looked up with four guys climbing into her room. "No." said Lilly, seeing Clark among them. He had a real tolerance toward pain being that he was beaten by both Crimson Spade and Legion Zero within a few hours of each beating. "Look what we have here boys. A whore in her natural habitat." said Clark.
His friends snickered as Clark looked at her and pinned her against the wall. "So who did you sleep you damn whore?" said Clark. Lilly was quiet as she was slapped hard. "Who have you been fucking whore?!" yelled Clark. She was crying as Lilly said,"I didn't fuck him.". She wanted to be left alone as Clark growled. "This is fucking fantastic. I got my ass kicked by those freaks in masks and now my personal whore isn't telling me the truth!" said Clark.
He kicked her in the stomach with Clark smiling as she collapsed on the floor. "I think I know how I can make things better. You know what whores do right?" said Clark, earning chuckles from his friends. "What?" said Lilly. "Oh wow. You're so stupid. We're going to have some fun. Clean yourself up and meet me outside. If you don't come out within five minutes, I make you ugly whore." said Clark who slapped Lilly, earning laughs from his friends.
The four of them were gone as Lilly got back up. She changed into some normal wear ,her normal outfit with a brown hoodie, as she was about to head downstairs. However, she made a stop right at her parent's room. She knew where her father's gun was and decided to take out for a test run. "Hurry up whore! I don't have all fucking day to waste on a whore!" yelled Clark from downstairs. "I'm coming!" said Lilly. She smiled as she looked at the handgun and she headed downstairs.
After ten agonizing minutes of walking with Clark, the "couple" finally reached the park. He led her to a park bench where she spotted Zane with some girl. Lilly didn't know this girl but she was jealous of her. She was so pretty, much prettier than me. Zane and her look like the perfect couple being that Lilly looked at Zane. She didn't know him or Zero all too well but she could tell that the both of them cared about her in some regard.
She also noticed Zane looking at her and Clark with the latter having his hand on her back, squeezing her back so she would behave. While he was feeling her for later, he didn't feel the gun. Lilly may have been sleep deprived being that she saw Zane's bright red eyes. Lilly was pretty sure that Zane was going to punch Clark which in any normal circumstance, she would want. She wanted to make him pay for hurting her not have someone else do it for her.
The two of them eventually left being that Clark tried to fist bump Zane but anyone could see that Zane didn't like Clark. Clark escorted her to the rec center with Lilly trying to tell Zane that she was in trouble. She was sure that she didn't see that she needed help but she was wrong. As both Clark and Lilly were out of sight, Zane looked at Roxy. "I'll be back. Don't worry. I'll save her." said Zane as he turned into Swift Form and rushed off. "You got this hero." said Roxy.
Zane P.O.V.
I was soon outside of her house with me noticing both of her parents pulling into their driveway and the father staring at me. After meeting Lilly, I decided to some research on her. Her parents ,Todd and Sonia Mitchell, weren't exactly parents of the year. Her father was a car salesman and like most car salesman, they're assholes. He's no exception. Her mother is a stay at home wife being that she got together with Todd shortly after high school.
Her mother has done nothing important in her life being that she pretty much takes his abuse without fighting back. I soon deactivated Swift Form as I walked up to them. "Mr. Mitchell. Is your daughter home?" I said. "Don't know. She's never home to begin with ever since she got kicked out of school due to the accident." said Todd. I ignored him as I head toward the front door. "Hey! What the hell are you doing?!" yelled Todd.
I looked at him as I said,"Doing something you and your wife were never able to do. Help your daughter when she needs someone the most.". Todd tried to stop me but a good old fashioned bio-electricity web kept him quiet as I entered the house. I walked upstairs as I remembered something she mumbled earlier,"I'll make them pay using his weapon.". I was pulled out of my thought process by Sonia as she said,"Um Zero. What's going on?".
I turned to her as I said,"You should have noticed this earlier but your daughter has been bullied by her classmates because she stood up for herself and she needed help. That's why I'm here. Do you have a weapon in the house?". "Yes. It's in our room but why?" said Sonia. We soon entered their room with it being a complete mess. "She took his gun Zero." said Sonia as she looked at the drawer that once contained the handgun.
I sighed as I said,"Okay. You need to call 911. Tell them to meet me at the rec center. I'm going to do my best to save your daughter. The bullies are there and trust me, it won't be pretty. Once this is all over, I want you to promise me something. You will do your best to be there for your daughter no matter what and also divorce that scumbag husband of yours.". She nodded as she pulled out her phone. I turned into Magus Form, sprouting my wings and flew to the rec center.
Narrator P.O.V.
Clark and Lilly arrived at the rec center with Clark throwing Lilly onto a couch. "What are we doing here?" said Lilly as she noticed all of Clark's friends. "Going to give you what you deserve." said Clark as Lilly took a deep breath. She wanted to scream but she knew no one was going to help. She was alone and had no one. She soon reached into her pocket and pulled out a handgun, aiming right at Clark. "What the?" said Clark, stepping back. "It's a gun dipshit!" yelled Lilly.
She was shaking like nothing else as she held the weapon. "Okay! Put it down! This isn't funny!" said Clark. "Lots of things aren't funny Clark! You broke me. You ruined my life just because I'm not like your fucking lackies! I was raped by you all! I was hurt by all of you! I didn't do a fucking thing to any one of you! You ruined my life!" yelled Lilly. "Look I'm sorry Lilly!" said Clark. "No! You're fucking not!" yelled Lilly with tears going down her face.
The teens soon heard,"Lilly. Put down the gun right now or I'll have to hurt you. I really don't want to but you're being just like them.". Lilly and the rest of them soon saw Zane standing there in the doorway in Magus Form. "I thought you were my friend! I was the victim and you're protecting these fucking assholes!" yelled Lilly. Zane took a deep breath as he said,"You're upset about this now but tomorrow, all of this will be nothing but a bad memory.".
Zane looked at her as he said,"This will ruin the rest of your life Lilly. ". She slowly put down the gun as she said,"Thank you Zero.". "No problem." said Zane. Crisis Judgement went off as Clark yelled,"Get her!". Zane watched several guys rushed toward her with him growling. Before they could reach her, their shadows stopped them and slapped all of them into the ground or wall, breaking them.
Zane grabbed the gun and broke it before it could hurt anyone. Zane looked right at Clark with him saying,"I swear that you deserve this and more!". Clark was soon punched in the face, sending him flying into a wall and breaking it. Zane knew that he was still a normal human but Zane didn't care right now. He walked over to Lilly who was in a fetal position and crying. Zane pulled her into a hug as he said,"It's okay now Lilly. Things will be better for you I promise.".
She cried like nothing else as the police arrived. Scott looked at Zane with the hero saying,"I know that I went overboard on them which I did but...". "Don't Zero. Her mother told me some of the stuff that they did to her. No kid should have to go what she went through. You did a good thing and hopefully, we can get this girl the help she needs." said Scott. Zane nodded as it was over with Clark and his groupies learned a lesson that they won't forget.
Zane P.O.V.
It had been a couple of days since then. I was sitting under the tree at Skyward Point. I was still mad at Clark and Lilly's classmates for bullying Lilly being that I didn't know about what happen. I knew that I couldn't protect everyone but I was going to do my best for here on. "It seems that I don't have to tell you about what to do for here on." said a voice. I turned to see Parker and I said,"Oh. I didn't expect to see you. So how is Lilly?".
After Scott arrested Clark and his pals, I asked the Alliance to take care of Lilly. They have some of the best therapists in the business. "She's doing just fine. I wanted to tell you that she does have the metagene. You were right much to my shock. You really are Natasha's kid." said Parker. "So what are her powers?" I said. "Currently unknown. Trevor and the rest of Arcadia U is going to find out. She's get to be with her mom through every step." said Parker. I nodded as I said,"And her father?".
Parker groaned as he said,"Prison for abuse toward his family. It seems that I made the right choice in picking you as the wielder of the most powerful weapon in the Omniverse. You're not just a good hero to people but a savior.". "Thanks. I'm just thankful that no one died. I lost my cool and used my full power on people who didn't deserve it." I said. "Your dimension does have nice health care aka Restore Form. I didn't expect you to heal those idiot humans." said Parker.
I shrugged as I said,"They may have hurt Lilly. She was beyond miserable. You don't win all the time as a hero. You lose and those losses are more important than victory.". "You've been taking my advice to hear haven't you?" said Parker. "Yeah. Fighting for others is more important than fame and fortune any day of the week. I'm going to keep fighting, making terrible jokes because that's what a hero is to me." I said.
Parker smiled as he said,"That's my godchild for you. Oh. You're using your new suit quite well. So keep fighting the good fight Zero. You're my favorite one that Leif has picked.". He was soon gone as I stood up. "It's time to power up!" I said. I turned into Legion Zero with me flying off. I was going to protect Cypress Park no matter what because people like Lilly need my help and you can be a hero without powers.
Narrator P.O.V.
Later that night, a girl was standing on the edge of a building and was about to jump. She’s a Caucasian girl with a slim, athletic, and curvy build. She has long wavy black hair ,which goes to her shoulders, and dark teal eyes. She’s currently wearing a green short-sleeve sweater and black ¾ length capri jeans. She wears gray high-heel shoes. Her name is Julia Hoffman. She’s a high school senior at Cypress Park’s other high school known as Laguna High
She was once Lilly’s friend but like the rest of her class, she bullied her just because Clark told her too. She was a follower being that she felt badly for her actions after she heard about what happened to Clark and his group by the hands of both Legion Zero and Crimson Spade. She knew about Legion Zero because everyone in town knew about their hero but Crimson Spade was brand new but wasn't a rumor.
He doesn't work either for the good guys or bad guys. He has stopped several criminal operations within Cypress Park, being called a hero at first. However, he has gone after the rich members of Cypress Park and his methods are rather violent. He has mainly targeted the couple of Annette and Roland Gordon being that he messed with their wedding and clashed with Legion Zero. He destroyed the wedding being that Crimson Spade escaped.
This left Legion Zero to blame in the eyes of Roland, his fellow rich socialites, and Swarm but still a beloved hero. She was about to jump as she heard,"Don't jump.". She felt a hand on her shoulder as she turned around to see Crimson Spade standing there. He looks like an armored ninja/thief rather than a superhero. He looks to be in his early 20s. He has a lean, muscular figure with him being rather handsome to the eyes.
He has grayish-platinum hair ,with his bangs hanging over his forehead, and piercing green eyes. He wears a black spade shaped domino mask over his eyes. His mask’s two white lenses are clear and see-through which allows him to see out but prevents any damage to his eyes. He wears a black gilet and hood with a crimson red outline, a zip down the front, and a crimson red stylized spade symbol resting on the right breast of his gilet.
Under his gilet, he wears a crimson red compression/muscle sleeveless shirt which exposed his toned build and a light gray front. He has silver chainmail sleeves which covers his arms. He wears black ,with crimson red lining, plating over his calves, thighs, and shoulder pads. He wears blackish red pants alongside a silver metal utility belt with several small spade pouches on the belt. He wears blackish-red boots with steel-soles.
He also wears blackish red streamline gauntlets which cover the entirety of his forearm and goes right up to his elbows and blackish red fingerless gloves. He carries a black bow handle on his back with a laser/sniper sight to it. It has a red button on the inside of the handle and three on the outsides of the bow. He carries it in a holster on a black strap that goes along his chest. Upon hitting any of the buttons, it transforms.
The handle unfolds into a recurve bow and a matching colored quiver appearing strapped onto his back, fitting perfectly on the black strap. The quiver is completely empty with the string of the bow being formed from solid Crimson Red energy. Despite the quiver looking empty, it contain arrows but only when Spade thinks about them. He carries a black revolver/colt. 45 acp/colt m1911 pistol with a stylized crimson red spade on the grip.
When not in use, the pistol is in a holster on the side of his right leg. He carries a obsidian black ,with crimson red lining and a crimson red spade pattern, metal escrima stick/staff. When not in use, the pistol is in a holster on the side of his left leg. "So what's up? I mean this place is actually kinda bad to jump off. I mean you'll still be a street pancake regardless of where you jump but you should at least have some class on where you jump before you jump." said Spade.
Julia looked at him as she said,"Are you seriously making jokes right now?!". Spade wrapped his arm around her as he said,"I've been told that laughter is the best way of talking with people and hey, we are talking. It's working right?.". "Get off me freak!" said Julia, pushing him away. She stood him as Spade said,"So why this place if you don't mind me asking? I mean look at the giant hole!". He was pointing to a hole nearby them as Julia ignored him.
Spade sulked as he said,"Harsh. You really don't want to be one of the Phantoms haunting this city because you'll be hunted down by the group who is this generation's nazis except without the poses I think.". He sat down with his legs going over the edge. "I bet if I was a honest to good hero like Zero or really anyone other than me, they would have something wise and would make you think about life in a different manner but you got my stupid ass." said Spade.
Julia was quiet as Spade smiled. "So my name is Crimson Spade but my friends and enemies call me Spade. What's your name by the way?" said Spade. "Don't." said Julia. "Don't what? I mean I've been just blabbing this whole time and I ain't stopping until my very last breath." said Spade. "Don't act like you're my friend. I'm sure you know about Lillian Mitchell right? I was one of her bullies and you attacked her bullies a few days ago." said Julia.
Spade nodded as he said,"That's right. To be honest, it has been a long week for me since I had to fight the Legion Zero who isn't someone to make mad. We actually had a quip off and I totally won that fight but people say differently. So why are you going to kill yourself? I know that you blame yourself for what you did to poor Lillian but hey, this isn't the way to do it.". "Are you trying to make me jump?!" said Julia as she glared at him.
Spade smiled as he said,"Nah. Killing yourself is the coward's way of going out. Like my great great hot dog vendor said, you should keep living and smiling no matter what. So am I making you really uncomfortable? I'm real good at that.". Julia was crying as Spade said while putting his hand on her shoulder,"So if you're going to kill yourself, I would totally die over at the Swarm base. Those guys need some bad press really badly.". "I hate you." said Julia.
Spade smiled as he said,"And that's the first sign of not jumping if you hate little old me. I mean you hate me right?". She looked at him as she said,"What do you think?". "I got it. Okay, lets make a deal okay? If you're so sure about this being your last night alive, what do you really want to do? I think The Queen Program is going on here at Cypress Park Amphitheater. You seen it yet? The group who destroyed it totally missed out on a great show." said Spade.
Julia soon looked at him as she said,"You're a freaking lunatic you know that right? No. Those tickets are over a million dollars and impossible to get even you're rich.". "Don't worry so much. I got some tickets from a good pal of mine." said Spade. Later at the Cypress Park Amphitheater, the duo of Julia and Spade were sitting in their seats looking over the actors. "I can't believe you. Are they going to be okay?" whispered Julia.
Spade looked at the two unconscious rich people that he placed nearby them as he shrugged. "Nah. I mean they're the rich after all. I mean they got a great health plan even better than our neighbor to the far north plus they already hate me. I mean these tickets came from the hands of criminals who were paid by....." said Spade. "Just shut up. It's getting good." said Julia. Spade smiled as he ate popcorn while watching one of the actors get hit with a pie.
Later, Julia and Spade were walking to a taxi. "So that was funny. I mean we got to see people get hit in the face with pies of all flavors not just strawberry. I mean what kinda of queen would allow this kinda of wackiness in the court? So what's up next chief? Also do you find it weird that our driver is a taxi driver? Totally thought these things were out like the disco." said Spade, holding to the door to our taxi. "Swarm Observation Deck!" said Julia, walking past him.
Spade soon looked at her as paramedics head into the amphitheater. "Oh my god. You made a joke but you're totally being serious." said Spade. "Didn't you tell me to jump off there because Swarm needs bad press?" said Julia. "Maybe I did. I tend to have short term memory like nothing else and after seeing people get rid with pies, that's all I can think about. So do you need to get out some frustrations by punching things? Living or not. I can provide both." said Spade.
Julia looked away as she said,"I don't know okay. Shouldn't you tell me that violence doesn't solve everything?". "Whoever said that never felt the feeling of punching someone when you're feeling just awful. I mean you shouldn't go on a murderous rage but you should get out your anger by hitting a punch bag or just scream and dance in a warehouse somewhere in town." said Spade. He soon opened up one of his several small spade pouches on his belt.
Spade soon held out letters as he said,"As you must know, Zero doesn't just fight guys and gals who have a kink for robbing banks. He helps people whenever he can but some people don't get the help that they need even by the guy who can clone himself. So I decided to go help out people who need a good beating of reality aka my fists. Those two I beat up earlier are part of the bad percent of the rich which is most of them. So want to help me beat up bad guys?".
Julia sat in the taxi as she said,"Just leave me alone!". Spade ignored her as he sat next to her. "So are you actually kidnapping me?" said Julia. "Nah. I only kidnap people if you're going to help me knock some skulls of bad people plus being a pedophile is like something I'm not a fan of. I mean doing little kids is just messed up but everyone has their kinks even if they're really wrong. So I'll let you do whatever you want after we have some fun." said Spade, leaning back in his seat.
The driver soon drove somewhere as Julia said,"Seriously. I really don't get you. I mean are you kidnapping me?". "Nah. So what's your name?" said Spade. "It's Julia Hoffman." said Julia. "Oh. I was totally sure that your name was Megan or some other girl name that I can't think of. So want to be my sidekick? I have been looking for someone." said Spade. The two were later standing outside of a townhouse as Julia said,"So why are we here?".
Spade smiled as he said,"That's simple my dear Hoffman. I'm going to teach you the art of breaking down the door of a real scumbag. I've read several letters about a scumbag by the name of Randall Carson aka Taurus. He's an enforcer of Gold Commander aka one of the big crime lords of Cypress Park but I heard he's one of the good ones in the grand scheme of things. According to the letters I read, he's been robbing the elderly which is like punching a baby the monster.".
The two were soon in front of a door as Spade knocked on it. "Hey there bull boy! This is your favorite ecdysiast Clover!" said Spade. No one answered the door as Spade said,"Okay. When they don't answer the door like the rude jerk that they are, you decided to give the door a good kick of reality!". Spade soon kick the door down with Spade seeing what the door hit. It wasn't Randall but one of Randall's men who went by the name of Horseshoe's mother.
This nickname was given to him thanks to his mustache and horseshoe tattoo on his shoulder. He's wearing a black shirt with blue jeans. "So he lives with his mom at his age?" said Julia. "Huh. They didn't mentioned that in the letters." said Spade, shrugging. "You crazy bastard! I'll kill you!" yelled Horseshoe. "Nah. Dying isn't happening when there is a knuckle sandwich to deliver!" said Spade as he dodged Horseshoe's punch to deliver his own.
Horseshoe went to the ground with Spade saying,"And now, it's your turn Julia.". She kicked him as Spade sighed. "Come on miss cheerleader. Show me that spirit that won you the game of kicking the man while he's down!" said Spade. Julia kept kicking him as she said,"Just shut the hell up annoying pain in my ass!". Horseshoe was feeling her kicks as Spade said,"And here I thought that heels were only dangerous if you're made out of paper.".
A bit later, Julia and Spade were being thanked by the other people of the townhouse. "So that was a great warmup." said Spade. "That's a warmup for you? Whatever. We're done." said Julia. "Nah. We still got more work to do. I mean our next target are people hacking the internet and ransoming back the data to people for money. Here's the worst part though. If they don't pay up, the criminals upload their data to a porn site. The monsters!" said Spade.
As the two were walking, paramedics were going inside to pick up Horseshoe's mom. "We won't even have to pull our punches at this one." said Spade. "Whatever." said Julia, crossing her arms. The two were soon in the warehouse district as Spade said,"I'm not a techie but I got a sniffer for finding bad guys.". He knocked on the door inside of a building on the second floor. On the other side of the door was the criminals Spade was telling Julia about.
Spade said,"Hey there boys. It's your favorite ecdysiast Clover! Looking for a good time?". "Does that ever work? And what's an ecdysiast?" said Julia. "Read a thesaurus sometimes. It's really eye opening and stay back." said Spade. The other side opened the window as a man said,"What the hell are you.....". An explosion knocked him and his fellow bouncer back along with the metal door as both Julia and Spade walked in.
The former was holding a bat with her saying,"So you can generate energy too?". "Yep. It's crimson red like blood or strawberries I think. Not a pomologist. I think that is what a person who study fruit is called. I ain't the smartest cookie in the jar." said Spade. "You two are dead!" said the bouncer who didn't open the door. He pulled a gun on him as Spade broke his arm. "Sorry but shooting her isn't a good idea." said Spade.
The rest of them charged at Spade with him saying,"So you're going to jail for your crimes against cute internet babies and kitties!". Spade charged at them with him headbutting one of them and sent one flying with a single backhand. "You'll head to jail after you visit Heartstone and all of you can afford it thanks to its great price! Street rules son!" said Spade. He was soon being held by some of them as Spade kicked one in the nuts.
Spade said,"I should have you guys know that I saw an amazing show tonight and despite pies being thrown at people dressed even more stupider than hipsters with man buns, I really need to hit some fools.". "Get off him!" said Julia, with her about to swing her bat. She was grabbed by one of them as he said,"You bitch!". He soon got a bat to the fact with her saying,"Stay the hell away from me!". She soon swung at several computers with her dropping her bat. All of them were destroyed.
Julia was holding onto Spade's waist as the two of them were on a motorcycle. "So did you just steal a motorcycle?!" said Julia. "It's more like borrowing but did you have fun with little old me? I mean you got rid some of that pent off stress right?" said Spade. "Yeah but I doubt that you needed me just like the rest of the world. I did something really awful. Lilly need me but I was too scared of losing my spot on the squad for supporting Lilly. Just drop me off anywhere." said Julia.
Spade soon sighed as he stopped the motorcycle. Julia saw that they were in front of the emergency entrance of Heartstone. "Yeah. I can't really do that. I may not be a super genius but you need to talk someone who doesn't have a love for beating up bad guys and making amazing jokes. I'm sure those people inside of there will find someone who can do a much better job." said Spade. "You promised me to let me die!" yelled Julia.
Spade looked at her as he said,"To be fair, we didn't shake on it. You and I have to say goodbye. I've been talking/texting with Dr. Haynes soon after I went to get popcorn. She's been expecting you and she's a good doctor.". "So what if I don't want to go in there? Are you going to force me to do what you want me to do? Clark did that and I deserve to die for my actions." said Julia. Spade flicked on the head as he said,"Shut up and listen to your elder by a few years.".
She looked at him as he said,"Look. I don't have the right to force you do anything that you don't want to do. Your life is your choice. You want to make things right with Lilly right? I'm sure that she could use friends after she gets back from where she went. That's how you makes things right with her to me. Do you want me to come with you? I kinda need to say sorry to all of the old people I beat up which is over five now.".
Spade looked at her as he said,"Look. Everyone needs help sometimes and trust me, there are people who can help you.". The two walked inside as Julia met with Ellie. "Thank you Spade. You're a good person right Julia?" said Ellie. Julia hugged her as she said,"Thanks Spade.". "You're welcoming and get better okay?! We should hang out sometime okay!" said Spade. He watched the two of them leave as he smiled. He soon walked into an alleyway as he soon glowed.
Zane ,in his casual wear, stood there as he looked at the paramedics wondering about the hospital. "I guess that being Crimson Spade can be a good thing. I may have made this identity to handle the seedy crime without being Zero. No matter how bad it gets, life isn't always bad or good. There is always something good waiting for you as you keep moving down life's path. So I guess it's time to for me to sleep. A hero needs a good night sleep." said Zane as he was gone.

1. A hero has the great capacity to face any kind of adversity. They keep going even in the face of death at every turn, being competent and confident but willing to admit that they're scared but keep going regardless.
2. A hero is willing to commit personal sacrifice for the benefits of others rather than themselves.
3. A hero is naturally selflessly being that their actions are not motivated by their own self interest.
4. A hero is always concerned with the well-beings of others. They can see things from more than just one perspectives.

8. A hero is true extraordinary being that they're not like the normal and that's perfectly fine. When others run from danger, they run head on.
9. A hero does something heroic for the benefit of others rather than a selfish goal for monetary valves. They simply want to help others. That can range from fighting a bad guy to helping the old lady across the street.
10. A hero's body acts before their brains have a chance to think and react. Helping others is an automatic reaction to a hero.

Zane's Gadgets. I didn't add this earlier because it deserved its introduction within the series.
Crimson Spade. Following his rematch with George Richard at the end of 2019, he began to dons the Crimson Spade identity in order to freely explore the criminal underworld ,mainly with the Odium Society, that he couldn’t normally do as Zero. As Crimson Spade, he’s cocky and confident even in the face of danger. He also acts random and crazy but he’s only plays the role of fool. He’s still really smart. It’s also how he acts in Zane’s future.
He’s also sarcastic and enjoys quipping and bantering with his targets. He’s very calculative and fairly strategic. Despite him playing the role of a villain, Zane can’t ignore his sense of justice at all being that he usually tries to help people while keeping up his villainous identity. He often jumps headfirst into danger mainly by jumping through the windows, much to the amazement of others. He’s also rather violent in his goals.
He looks like an armored ninja/thief rather than a superhero. To make sure that no one ,either friend or foe, recognize him, he alter his appearance and voice just to make sure. He looks to be in his early 20s. He has a lean, muscular figure with him being rather handsome to the eyes. He has grayish-platinum hair ,with his bangs hanging over his forehead, and piercing green eyes. He wears a black spade shaped domino mask over his eyes.
His mask’s two white lenses are clear and see-through which allows him to see out but prevents any damage to his eyes. He wears a black gilet and hood with a crimson red outline, a zip down the front, and a crimson red stylized spade symbol resting on the right breast of his gilet. Under his gilet, he wears a crimson red compression/muscle sleeveless shirt which exposed his toned build and a light gray front.
He has silver chainmail sleeves which covers his arms. He wears black ,with crimson red lining, plating over his calves, thighs, and shoulder pads. He wears blackish red pants alongside a silver metal utility with several small spade pouches on the belt. He wears blackish-red boots with steel-soles, blackish red streamline gauntlets which cover the entirety of his forearm and goes right up to his elbows, and blackish red fingerless gloves.
He carries his weapons Arcus Stryker, Rogue Six Shooter, and Stormbreaker being that all three of them are disguised. He carries Arcus Stryker with its disguised form being a black bow handle with a laser/sniper sight. It has a red button on the inside of the handle and three on the outsides of the bow. He carries it in a holster on a black strap that goes along his chest. Upon hitting any of the buttons, it transforms.
The handle unfolds into a recurve bow and a matching colored quiver appearing strapped onto his back, fitting perfectly on the black strap. The quiver is completely empty with the string of the bow being formed from solid Crimson Red Impulse. Despite the quiver looking empty, it contain arrows but only when Zane thinks about them. He carries Rogue Six Shooter with its disguised form being a black revolver/colt. 45 acp/colt m1911 pistol.
It has a stylized crimson red spade on the grip. When not in use, the pistol is in a holster on the side of his right leg. He carries Stormbreaker with its disguised form being an obsidian black ,with crimson red lining and a crimson red spade pattern, metal escrima stick/staff. When not in use, the pistol is in a holster on the side of his left leg. This suit allows the wearer to mimic all of Zane’s powers perfectly being that this suit is the result of several means.
This suit was created through using all of Zane’s smartest forms to create it. Parker is well aware of this being that the Eazairvian allowed this to go on because he’s worried about his godson’s safety but not admitting it. Like Zane’s Z.E.R.O. watch, Zane can only use it because it was made for him alone being that Parker didn’t want anyone having Zane’s powers at their disposal. Zane can activate the suit by thinking about it.
This suit can increase the user’s durability toward sword strikes and missile blasts. He can perform gymnastic moves that would make gymnast jealous. It also increases the user’s strength and speed. It can turn the wearer invisibility, flight, teleportation, and manipulate a form of crimson red energy which is a different form of Impulse. It can make a concentrated blast of energy and usually has a spade symbol on it.
This suit’s special power is the ability to trace frequencies, selection of optical visions ranging for infrared to movement tracking. It can also negate sound. Zane can produce a cord from his suit being that it’s lined with tactile sensors that can work like a polygraph machine to tell if someone is telling the truth or hack into an object. This suit is a powerful invention of his being that he uses it even after things happen but as a way to sneak it or act as a villain.
